Nicole: Okay? It's important.
E.J.: Oh, Harold. Just the person I was looking for. Um, Nicole and I would like to be, uh, by ourselves this evening. So, uh, if you could ask the rest of the staff not to disturb us, that would be great.
Harold: Yes, Mr. DiMera.
E.J.: Thank you--oh, and if there are any problems, just send them my father's way, okay?
Harold: As you wish, sir.
E.J.: Thank you.
Nicole: [Sighs] Mia. It's me again, damn it. Why aren't you answering your phone? I need to know if you've heard from Chad. [Sighs]
Stephanie: You two-faced bitch.
Melanie: Wha--what is your problem?
Stephanie: My problem is you. And Philip.
Philip: [Sighs] Stephanie. Without you, my life is a joke. It's a meaningless waste of--
Brady: You in a bad mood, or are you christening the house?
Lexie: I've got it, Daniel.
Daniel: Chloe? Chloe? Whoa, whoa, whoa, what the hell? Bo? Bo?
Bo: It's for your own good, man.
Daniel: No, no, no, she needs me. She needs me!
Lexie: Come on, Chloe.
Lexie: Come on.
Daniel: Chloe! I'm right here, Chloe. Chloe! Chloe. Come on, for God's sake, Bo. She needs me. I can save her. Just let me go.
Bo: I'm sorry, man, I'm sorry. I can't let you near her.
Lexie: Come on.
Maggie: Oh, dear God, please. [Sobbing]
Kate: She has to make it. She has to.
Lexie: Come on.
Lexie: Come on, Chloe. [Panting]
Nicole: Remember when I told you I would fix Chad? Well, I ran into him, and I think I gave the kid a pretty good scare. I just--I need to know if he's asked you any more questions. Because, Mia, if he finds out that you were pregnant and you gave me the baby, I-- oh, damn it, Mia. Where are you? I need to know if that idiot is going to find out the truth, okay? Just call me back whenever you get this. Doesn't matter how late it is. [Sighs] Oh. I'm not gonna lose Sydney to some teenage punk.
Nicole: Sydney? Oh, my God.
Melanie: I-I don't know what you think I did to Philip.
Stephanie: Not "to," Melanie, "with."
Stephanie: You guys have a good time today? 'Cause judging by your bed head, it looks like you had a ball.
Melanie: Okay, oh, so you think that Philip and I--
Stephanie: Slept together? I don't think, I know. You pathetic little slut.
Daniel: Come on, Lexie. Do not lose her.
Lexie: Give her a milligram of epi. Come on, Chloe. Come on, baby. Come on. Come on. [Panting]
Maggie: Oh, please, God. Please don't take our Chloe.
[Monitors beeping rapidly]
Maggie: Oh, dear God, no. [Sobbing]
Lexie: We are not going to lose you, Chloe. Clear.
Daniel: No, I know you can hear me, Chloe. It's Daniel. It's Daniel--I love you! I love you. You have to live. You live, Chloe. Please, come back to me! Come back!
Lexie: We've got a rhythm. Oh.
Daniel: [Breathing heavily] Thank you.
Philip: Have you ever screwed something up so badly you just wanted to--
Brady: Whoa, whoa, come on. Hey, whoa, come on, come on.
Philip: How could I have done this, man? How could I have let this happen?
Brady: [Sighs] This is about a certain woman. I'm--I'm just guessing.
Philip: Make that two women.
Stephanie: What is the matter with you?
Melanie: What's the matter with me? You just called me a slut. You're being unbelievably cruel to me, and you have absolutely no idea what happened. You think I'm going to stand here and take that?
Stephanie: Melanie, you slept with my fiancÚ.
Melanie: What? He's not your fiancÚ any more, Stephanie!
Stephanie: He's still--
Melanie: He's what? The man you love? Tell me how that's my problem, and just--ugh--so we are clear, I did not come anywhere near sleeping with Philip. It-- is that why Nathan blew me off? Did you tell him Philip--what did you tell Nathan?
Stephanie: I told him the truth. That you are an immature, self-absorbed little troublemaker. And if he's smart, he won't come anywhere near you.
Melanie: Really? That the thanks I get for saving your life?
Stephanie: Oh, right, play that card.
Melanie: It's not a card, Stephanie.
Stephanie: No, just the perfect rationale for sleeping with my boyfriend.
Melanie: Okay, now you're delusional. Philip is not your boyfriend. He is not your fiancÚ. He's nothing. You left him, remember? And have you forgotten that I'm the one that tried to selflessly put you two back together?
Stephanie: Oh, yeah, you're my guardian angel.
Melanie: I thought we were friends, Stephanie. I thought you trusted me.
Stephanie: Why would I trust a conniving little whore like you?
Melanie: Okay. Now you have crossed the line.
Nicole: Mary! [Sighs] I am sorry, sweetheart. I am so sorry.
E.J.: Nicole. What's going on? What happened?
Nicole: It's Sydney.
Philip: [Sighs] So not only did I blow it with Stephanie, I was a total jerk with Melanie too.
Brady: Melanie? You went out with Melanie?
Philip: Look, it was a moment of weakness, okay? And it's not because I'm into her, I just--
Brady: Then w-wait. Why'd you put the moves on her, man?
Philip: [Sighs] I don't know, she was there. I was lonely.
Brady: Did you happen to be, I don't know, drunk like you are--
Philip: I am not drunk. I've had a couple of drinks, that's all.
Brady: Yeah, I'm sure it's been a couple drinks. Look, you can't get sympathy from me for putting the moves on a girl just because she's there and you were lonely. Doesn't matter if it was ten drinks or one, Philip.
Philip: That's great. That's great. Thanks for making me feel worse.
Brady: Look, you know Melanie. Her life has been hard enough without you using her--
Philip: I get it, okay?
Brady: I don't think you do get it, Philip.
Philip: I get it, it was a mistake. I admitted that. It won't happen again. I'm swearing off women, in fact.
Brady: Oh, really?
Philip: Oh, yeah. I mean it.
Brady: [Laughs] Whatever, man. Look, I got a...I got a meeting at Titan. So I'll see you later.
Philip: Oh, yeah. Coweti account. You go. Own it. [Sighs]
E.J.: Well, what's wrong?
Nicole: She was in her playpen.
E.J.: Was--was she choking?
Nicole: No, I just got home, I didn't know she was in there, and then I turned and looked and there she was.
E.J.: It's okay, just calm down. Shh.
Nicole: Where the hell is Mary?
E.J.: She's gonna get upset.
Nicole: Where is Mary?
E.J.: Mary's upstairs.
Nicole: Well, why wasn't she watching her?
E.J.: Is that what you're upset about? You're upset that Sydney was alone?
Bo: [Knocking at door] Hey, Lexie.
Bo: What's the prognosis?
Lexie: We won't know for a while. We need to run more tests. We may need to give her additional doses of the antidote that Daniel administered.
Bo: Keep me posted, would you?
Melanie: Don't you ever call me that again, do you hear me?
Stephanie: I hear you.
Melanie: I may have a lot of problems, but that is not one of them. And if you have a sensitive bone in your body, you will think about what I have been through. You dated my brother. He told you about me. He had to have. So you of all people should know what I went through as a child, as a little girl, what my father put me through. Do you hear me now, Stephanie?
Stephanie: I hear you. You had a terrible childhood, and I shouldn't have called you what I called you.
Melanie: How could I ever have thought you were a good person?
Stephanie: Melanie, you--you lied to me. Why would you pretend that you wanted me and Philip back together when you just wanted him for yourself?
Melanie: I didn't! All I wanted was to make sure Philip didn't drive drunk. All I wanted was to try and get Philip to be my friend and get him to act responsibly! I'm not gonna explain myself to you anymore. Just leave me the hell alone! [Gasping and sobbing]
Maggie: Can you believe it, Kate? It was a miracle.
Kate: It certainly is.
Maggie: Somebody up there was listening. Yes.
Kate: Apparently. I have to call Philip.
Maggie: Well, I'll come with you. I'll make us some tea.
Bo: Let him go, I'll--I'll take it from here.
Daniel: Sure you can trust me?
Bo: Sorry about that, man.
Daniel: You need to be damn grateful she didn't die in there.
Bo: And you better calm down and listen.
Daniel: Calm down? Why in the hell should I calm down?
Bo: Because I have more questions for you.
Daniel: What are you talking about? I answered all your questions.
Bo: No, you didn't. But before we proceed, do me a favor. Call a lawyer. Come on.
Maggie: Did you reach Philip?
Kate: Yes, he's on his way. [Sighs]
Maggie: Are you all right, sweetie?
Kate: I-I'm fine.
Maggie: It's been a pretty rough day for all of us. But the good thing is, Chloe's still with us.
Maggie: Oh, oh, never mind. I'll get it, I'll get it, I'll get it, never mind.
Kate: [Exhales] It's okay, it's okay, it's fine.
Lexie: Make those results a priority, Maxine.
Maggie: Lexie, I don't know what you did to save her. But thank you.
Lexie: Chloe is young. She's strong. I mean, she--she fought hard to come back.
Kate: Will she stay?
Lexie: Excuse me?
Kate: I-I mean, will she stay, or will she have a relapse? Lexie, what's her prognosis? Is my daughter-in-law going to live?
Lexie: We were able to restart Chloe's heart. And she is breathing on her own. But she's in a coma.
Maggie: Oh, my God.
Lexie: We don't know how the poison will affect her. Um, she could start to improve tonight. Next week. Or, um... look, I'm--we just can't say.
Kate: Are you saying that she might never recover?
Lexie: There is that chance. I'm sorry.
Maggie: I can't stop thinking that I-- [Sobs] I wish I had been kinder to her from the beginning. You know, more compassionate. I mean, who was I to judge her? But did that stop me? No.
Kate: You gotta stop beating yourself up. It's not doing any good. You've been very, very good to her recently, and I know she felt your love.
Maggie: Well, I hope so. [Sniffling] I need some air. I need a--I'm gonna take a-- do you want to come with me?
Kate: No, no, you go. I'm gonna wait for news.
Maggie: Okay. I'll be back soon.
Daniel: You really think that I did this. You think that I poisoned Chloe? Really?
Lexie: Um, Chloe's still unresponsive. But her vitals are stable.
Daniel: Okay, okay. We ju--we need to do another set of tests. Leukocystine may have delayed damage to the liver.
Bo: Hey, take it easy, Dan.
Daniel: And we also--we need a CBC, 'cause if the poison decreased Chloe's platelet level, we may need to do a transfusion, okay?
Daniel: All right, we're on.
Bo: Hold on, Dan, hold on. You're not going anywhere.
Daniel: Bo, Bo--I'm the one who should be in there with her.
Bo: I got--you got to take it easy. Right now, what you need to do is call a lawyer.
Daniel: No, I don't need a lawyer. I need to be with the woman I love. I would never hurt her. Do you hear me?
Bo: I understand that. I'm on your side. But in order for me to help you, I need some answers.
Melanie: [Sobbing] I have to go.
Brady: Now wait a minute. Why--why are you crying?
Melanie: Ask her!
Brady: What's going on here?
Stephanie: Melanie and Philip--
Melanie: No, Melanie and Philip nothing. Melanie tried to convince Philip that he's still in love with Stephanie. That is all Melanie is guilty of.
Stephanie: Just keep your voice down.
Melanie: Meanwhile, Stephanie ruined Melanie's chances with Nathan Horton.
Stephanie: What? I did not. You're the one who stood him up.
Melanie: He stood me up. Philip came in here, high as a kite. I just wanted to ma--make sure he got home safely.
Stephanie: I'm sure that's all you wanted to do--
Brady: All right, you know what-- you know what, I've heard-- enough, enough. What is going on? You two were getting along just fine until this happened, whatever the hell this is. Look, why don't--why don't you start by telling Stephanie exactly what happened between you and Philip.
E.J.: It's okay. Mommy wake you up? [Whispering] [Exhales] [Sighs] You scared me half to death. I thought she was hurt.
Nicole: Well, she could have been if I hadn't gotten here in time.
E.J.: Look, I asked Mary to look after her 'cause I had some work to do, and she went upstairs for a minute.
Nicole: Oh, one minute is all it takes, EJ.
E.J.: But I had the baby monitor.
Nicole: Well, okay, so what? What if the batteries died? Those things aren't foolproof, you know.
E.J.: When have you ever known the batteries to die before?
Nicole: All right, well, well, what if someone came in here and kidnapped her and we didn't hear it? I mean, the terrace doors weren't locked, EJ. Some hoodlum could've just waltzed in here and taken her away from us.
E.J.: Some hoodlum would have waltzed in here and--if somebody had got past the front gate, which is very unlikely, they'd have had to deal with the security guards we have outside. Come on, what do you want me to do, put a moat around the place?
Nicole: Don't make jokes.
E.J.: Look, I'm not making jokes, but I care more about her than I do for my own life, and you know that. What is up with you?
Nicole: I'm going to make sure this kind of reckless behavior doesn't continue. This is Mary's fault. And I want her fired.
E.J.: [Laughs] What?
Kate: Oh, honey, thank God you're here.
Philip: How's Chloe?
Kate: She's alive, thank God.
Philip: I cannot believe this happened to her.
Kate: I know, it's--it's horrible.
Philip: Have you seen her? Can she have visitors?
Kate: Not yet.
Philip: Is she gonna be okay?
Kate: She's in a coma, Philip.
Philip: Oh, my God.
Kate: Lexie's in there with her now. They're taking more tests.
Philip: You said on the phone she was poisoned.
Kate: Yeah. Apparently, um, the brownies on the set were tainted. Philip, it's all my fault.
Daniel: If you ask me that one more time--
Bo: I'll ask until you answer. Why were those drugs in your apartment?
Daniel: I don't know how they got there, or that they even were there, so how in the hell can I answer you--
Daniel: It is a complete mystery to me.
Bo: You prescribed it. Your name was on it.
Daniel: Well, then, someone forged a prescription.
Hope: Hey, Lopez tracked down that prescription. It was filled at Salem Drugs on Front Street.
Bo: Did he talk to the pharmacist?
Hope: Yeah, Richard Hutchens. He was on duty at the time.
Bo: Did he recall who picked up the drugs?
Hope: Caucasian male. 40-ish, light brown hair.
Daniel: No, no, no, no. No, this is crazy. There must be a thousand guys who fit that description.
Hope: Here's the original prescription.
Bo: Is this your handwriting?
E.J.: Sweetheart, I'm not going to fire Mary.
Nicole: Fine, I'll do it myself.
E.J.: No, you won't do it. Nicole, come on. Mary's trustworthy. She's loyal. She wouldn't do anything to hurt Sydney.
Nicole: Maybe not intentionally, but I'm not gonna risk my daughter's life.
E.J.: Okay. You'd rather have somebody else come in? Somebody that our daughter doesn't know?
Nicole: I can't believe you're not as upset about this as I am.
E.J.: Okay, it's not that I'm not upset about it, but if you are to be angry with somebody, you should be angry with me.
Nicole: You're not the one who left her unattended.
E.J.: I know, but as I was trying to explain, Mary had a phone call.
Nicole: A phone call. A phone call. So that's a reason to leave a child unattended?
E.J.: She had a phone call from her mother, who is sick. All right? I told her she could go and take it, and I took the baby monitor.
Nicole: Okay. Well, if Mary has other priorities in her life right now, then maybe she should take a leave, and--
Nicole: Stop it. No, I will take care of her, okay? I won't let her out of my sight.
E.J.: Nicole, come on. Please, I've never known you to be irrational when it comes to Sydney. So what's going on? Tell me.
Nicole: Nothing. Everything's fine.
E.J.: Everything's fine? Nothing's wrong?
E.J.: No. You're acting like the sky is falling.
Nicole: Well, I don't want to tell you because you're going to think it's stupid.
E.J.: I won't.
Nicole: Well, I was watching a movie on TV, and this woman's son was kidnapped. So I guess I got a little paranoid.
E.J.: Yeah, a little, maybe.
Nicole: Okay. You're right. I'm sorry. I will...try to relax a little more.
Melanie: Then Philip tried to get me to go for a ride in his car.
Stephanie: After he'd been drinking.
Melanie: Right, so I told him no, and I took his keys because I didn't want him to hurt himself or anybody else.
Stephanie: Okay, okay, so he was all buzzed and ready to party, and--
Brady: Let her finish.
Melanie: You know what, the truth is, I did want to be with Philip that way. Because why not. And I could've been, because he wanted to be with me like that too.
Stephanie: Oh, my God.
Melanie: But here's the thing, Stephanie, like I keep trying to tell you. He doesn't want to be with me in that way. He's lonely and depressed because he's still in love with you. It could've been any woman. It was just me. He's looking for somebody to fill the void. And so I told him no. If I would've slept with Philip, it would've been for all the wrong reasons. And more importantly, it would've hurt you. Which I can't do, because for the first time... for the first time in my life, friendship means more to me than some guy. [Sobbing]
Maggie: Hey. Hi. I thought you were on duty.
Nathan: Yeah, I'm on break. I was just getting some fresh air.
Maggie: Yeah, that's what I'm doing here.
Nathan: You okay?
Maggie: No. I'm not. They brought, uh, Chloe in. Unconscious. And now she's slipped into a coma.
Nathan: Oh, my God. I'm so sorry.
Maggie: I was holding up pretty well, and now all of a sudden--
Nathan: Shh, it's going to be okay. Does Lucas know? Is he with her?
Maggie: Mm-hmm. No, no, he doesn't know. Poor--poor soul. He doesn't know anything. He's on a plane flying back from Hong Kong or Singapore or some place, and of course they can't reach him on the plane.
Nathan: It's okay, we're gonna find him, and we're gonna get him back here. It's gonna be okay, all right?
Nathan: Now, do they have a diagnosis?
Maggie: [Sighs] Well, they think that she was poisoned.
Nathan: They confirmed it, then.
Maggie: You knew?
Nathan: Oh, um, that's what the doctors thought the last time they brought Chloe in. Apparently... but all the tests, the blood tests, came back negative.
Maggie: Well, they found out now. They did some kind of special test to figure that one out.
Nathan: That's strange, they must've brought in Dr. Jonas.
Nathan: Oh, he's one of the best. He turned in his resignation, but he probably stuck around to help out.
Maggie: Help? Nathan, they are accusing Daniel of poisoning her.
Nathan: Wait, what? Come on.
Maggie: The police found it hidden in the snacks of the TV show that they're shooting in my kitchen.
Nathan: Daniel Jonas.
Maggie: Yes, and I--and you know what? I-I don't even know if we can go back there. Because it's all closed off with crime scene tape. But if we do, don't eat anything.
Nathan: Right, now I won't.
Nathan: I do not believe this. [Sighs] Maggie, I am so sorry. Look. I don't know Chloe very well. But she and Lucas seemed to be very happy together, and... I just hope that it all turns around.
Maggie: Yeah. Well, we all have to pray that it does. Oh. I'm glad I ran into you.
Maggie: [Laughter] Oh, you take care, darling, okay?
Nathan: No, you take care.
Maggie: I need to get back. Stay with Kate. It's been a horrible day for her.
Nathan: I understand. Why don't you get home, and I'll see you when I get home, all right?
Nathan: All right. Love you.
Maggie: Okay, bye.
Philip: What do you mean, it's your fault?
Kate: I was the one who insisted that she do a segment on food. Maybe if it had been a different topic, none of this would have happened.
Philip: Oh, that's crazy talk, Mom. Come on.
Kate: I just don't understand how anyone could be so malicious. So evil.
Philip: And why Chloe? Why would anyone want to hurt her?
Kate: I know, it doesn't make any sense at all. Everyone loves Chloe. [Sighs] Maybe it was a mistake. Maybe she wasn't the target.
Philip: And nobody else ate those brownies, did they?
Kate: Well, thank God they didn't. My entire crew would've been poisoned.
Philip: [Exhales] And no one was hanging around the set? No one unusual?
Kate: Philip, I have gone over this a million times in my head.
Philip: Look, we will figure this out. I promise.
Kate: Thank you, baby.
Bo: Is that your handwriting or not?
Daniel: I haven't written a prescription for leukocy--
Bo: Answer the question.
Daniel: Yeah, it's similar, yes. But regardless, how can you be sure that it's the drug from this particular vial that poisoned the brownies?
Hope: We're running tests right now.
Bo: Let's just say the drug came from this particular vial that poisoned Chloe.
Daniel: I am telling you, Bo--
Bo: Let me finish.
Bo: If it came from this vial and it wasn't prescribed by you, how did it end up in your apartment?
Hope: Does anyone else have access to your apartment? A key, anything?
Bo: Was anybody there in the last week or so?
Daniel: Nobody. I-I don't--I don't know. I... oh, my God.
E.J.: What are you doing? I thought you said you were never leaving Sydney alone again, ever.
Nicole: She's not alone.
Nicole: Well. I mean, you know, I did check the batteries a couple times, just to make sure. Listen. We've both been under a tremendous amount of stress these past few weeks. So what do you say we go upstairs to the bedroom... and we work off some of the stress?
Melanie: I really do consider you a friend, Stephanie. I'm sorry if you don't believe me.
Stephanie: I do. I-I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions like that. I just...snapped.
Melanie: [Sighs] One more thing.
Stephanie: I'm sorry if I ruined anything with you and Nathan.
Melanie: You didn't. I shouldn't have bailed on him and left with Philip.
Stephanie: No, I shouldn't have assumed the worst.
Melanie: Yeah, but you wouldn't have assumed the worst had I not--
Brady: Would you two just hug it out already?
Melanie: [Sniffling] I'm sorry.
Stephanie: Me too.
Philip: What are you reading?
Kate: Oh, just a silly magazine. I'm trying to distract myself. Wow, this is a relief, isn't it?
Philip: A relief? Mom, Chloe's in a coma.
Kate: Well, it could be worse. She could be dead.
Maggie: Well, it looks like Bo and Hope are still working Daniel over.
Philip: Daniel? What's Daniel got to do with this?
Maggie: Um...well, they think that he may have had something to do with Chloe's poisoning.
Daniel: And I was in such a hurry, I accidentally left my suit at home. The one that I was gonna wear for the show. So I gave Lucas my key, and he said he was gonna have an assistant pick it up and bring it to the set.
Bo: Chloe and Lucas picked up your suit, not an assistant.
Daniel: What? Then why in the hell aren't you questioning Lucas?
Bo: I'm questioning everyone who was on the set. Anyone who had access to the tainted food.
Daniel: Well, that's good. Good. Now I'm gonna go help Chloe.
Bo: No, man, you're--you're still a suspect. Too much circumstantial evidence. The drugs that were found in your apartment. The phone call that Maggie overheard where you and Chloe were arguing.
Daniel: Now, we have been over this, Bo. There was no phone call. No argument. Nothing.
Hope: Then how do you explain the phone records we pulled?
Bo: The film crew reported tension between the two of you.
Daniel: I know. I have no explanation.
Hope: Lexie told us--
Hope: That Chloe insisted you not treat her. In fact, she made it very clear that she didn't want you anywhere near her.
Bo: If the two of you were so close, if she was gonna leave Lucas for you, why would she do that? Why would she say something like that?
Hope: Daniel, why are you lying to us?
Nicole: Well, it's a good thing that you didn't let me fire Mary.
E.J.: Mm? [Laughter] I think I should give Mary a raise.
Nicole: I'm sorry. You know, I don't--I don't want to be one of those overbearing mothers. So I'm going to stop. I promise, no more.
E.J.: Sure about that? You sure?
Nicole: [Laughter] Yes.
E.J.: Sure you can do this?
Nicole: Yes, I can.
E.J.: Sure? Sure?
Nicole: Yes. Especially with a distraction.
E.J.: Hmm, I think I might have one of those somewhere.
Nicole: Oh, yeah?
Melanie: Hi, Brady. How'd your meeting go?
Brady: Well, I didn't have to referee any fights.
Melanie: Sorry about that.
Brady: Nah, it's cool. It's cool. I'm glad everything worked out between you guys.
Melanie: Me too. Can I make it up to you? I can get you a cup of coffee, slice of pie.
[Cell phone rings]
Melanie: Hold on. Someone from work. Hey, girl, what's up? Oh yeah, you need me to cover that shift for you? Yeah, definitely. What--what's going on? Yeah, I'll be right there. Yeah, okay. Bye. Um, Chloe Horton was your ex-wife, right?
Melanie: She's in the hospital. Somebody tried to kill her.
Philip: Why would Daniel poison Chloe? He saves peoples' lives.
Kate: I-I know. It's exactly what I said.
Philip: [Sighs] I mean, but if Bo thinks Daniel's responsible, he's gotta have a reason, right?
Kate: Daniel is not responsible. This is all just a huge misunderstanding. I just wish there was more that I could do for Chloe.
Maggie: Well, your prayers and your love--you are doing something, Kate. I mean, Chloe is lucky to have you for a mother-in-law. Listen, um, I really need to call Mickey again. I told him I'd give him an update.
Philip: Have you gotten a hold of Lucas?
Kate: No, I haven't. And I'm starting to worry a little bit, you know? He hasn't touched base with anyone.
Philip: Well, maybe he's still on the plane, or maybe his cell phone died. I could check in with him.
Kate: Could you?
Philip: Yeah, I'll go to the house.
Kate: Oh, honey, thank you.
Philip: Call me if you find out anything, okay?
Kate: [Sighs] God.
Bo: You insist there was no phone call. But isn't it possible that she called Maggie without your knowing?
Daniel: Oh, that's it. That's it--no more questions. The phone call, the brownies, none of it. The drugs. I am done. I cannot help you.
Bo: What about the apple?
Daniel: Apple? What apple?
Bo: Kate mentioned you sent a fruit basket to Lucas and Chloe.
Daniel: A housewarming gift, yes.
Hope: Chloe got sick after eating one of those apples.
Daniel: Well, I ordered the basket. I didn't make it up myself. And I certainly didn't poison any apple.
Bo: Someone did. Someone who wanted Chloe dead.
Nicole: [Soft laughter]
E.J.: Want to go and check on Sydney?
Nicole: What? Are you testing me?
Nicole: This is a test.
E.J.: No, it's not a test.
Nicole: Yes, it is, you're testing me.
E.J.: It's a little bit of a test. Little bit.
Nicole: [Laughter] No, I think she'll be fine.
E.J.: You expecting a phone call?
Nicole: Hmm? No. No. No.
E.J.: But if...hey.
Nicole: What? What are you doing?
E.J.: What am I doing? What are you doing?
Nicole: Well, I thought I was making love to my husband.
E.J.: Why do you keep checking your phone?
Nicole: Okay, here I go. Everything I do now is suspect, right? I mean...come on.
E.J.: Look, your behavior recently has been a little bit erratic.
Nicole: Okay, honey, look, I-- it's been a long day for me, okay? I-I overreacted.
E.J.: Don't start this.
Nicole: Now it's like you're overreacting.
E.J.: Now you're lying to me. You're ly--why would you lie to me?
Philip: Henderson? Henderson? Hen--
Henderson: Yes, sir?
Philip: Have you seen Lucas? Uh, he wasn't at his house, and I thought he might have stopped by here to see Mom.
Henderson: I'm sorry.
Philip: Can you check the airline? See if they can track him down?
Henderson: Yes, sir. Certainly.
Philip: Thank you. Thank you.
Philip: Oh, I got that.
Melanie: You still care about her, don't you?
Brady: Chloe and I had one hell of a divorce, Melanie.
Melanie: That doesn't answer my question.
Brady: Yeah, I care. I still care.
Melanie: Mm-hmm. When Brady says he cares about somebody, you know he means business.
Brady: [Sighs] I mean, we're friends now. I just--the thought of her being in trouble--
Melanie: You need to go to the hospital.
Brady: No. No, I don't. I don't. Thank you for telling me--
Melanie: No, no, no, Brady, Brady, Brady, Brady, Brady. If I were Chloe, I would want you there. I'm going anyways. Gotta cover a shift for my friend. She's covered one of mine. Two. A couple dozen of mine. Anyways, I would love some company on my way over.
Brady: Let's go.
Lexie: I need you to keep fighting, Chloe. We are doing everything we can.
Maggie: You holding up okay?
Kate: [Sighs] Honestly, no.
Maggie: Oh, honey.
Kate: It can all change just in an instant, can't it, Maggie? This is all going to affect so many lives. Chloe and Lucas and Daniel. I want this nightmare to end.
Bo: We have a 20 on Lucas?
Bo: Wish we could find him. I was thinking he could shed some light on the subject.
Hope: If only we could talk to Chloe.
Bo: Yeah. My gut's telling me someone else had motive.
Daniel: I thought you decided that was an ugly rumor.
Kate: Not anymore. I know for sure that Chloe was whoring around on my son.
Kate: Daniel: Hmm. You know, I still can't believe it.
Really? You can't believe it? When you are the man that she was whoring around with?
Kate: Well, what an interesting coincidence. Chloe was just about to eat an apple from the basket that you sent to her and Lucas. [Sighs]
Sami: I don't need surprises. I just need you.
Nicole: Why does everything always come back to Sami?
Stephanie: I'm still in love with you.
Philip: What do you want to do about that?
Kate: No way I wanted to see this happen.Back to The TV MegaSite's Days of Our Lives Site
