Sami: Will, Rafe wants to do something wonderful because he loves that little girl. I don't understand why you're trying to turn it into some evil plot.

Will: Come on, Mom. You expect me to believe that a guy you just met is gonna adopt Grace --

Sami: I didn't just meet him. I have known him for months. We were living together in the safe house. We know each other very well. We're together now.

Will: You guys -- you're not even getting married, and he's still adopting Grace.

Sami: Yeah, that's right. So?

Will: So obviously there's some scheming going on. Admit it.

Sami: No. No. I will do no such thing.

Will: That's right. Of course. You'll just lie.

Arianna: All I'm saying is this woman is not good for you.

Rafe: Well, actually, Sami's about the best thing that's ever happened to me. And you know what? Actually, I'm not gonna defend my feelings.

Arianna: Okay, you're getting way too involved, Rafe.

Rafe: Guess what. We're done, okay? Done.

Arianna: Don't -- don't you see? It's all happening again.

Rafe: Okay.

Max: Uh, what's all happening again?

E.J.: Are you ready to trade?

Philip: Yes. I am. Your father, my fiancée -- that's the deal.

E.J.: Excellent.

Philip: Okay, then. Let's do it.

E.J.: No.

Philip: Why? What's the problem?

Owen: Here we go. [Inhales, exhales deeply] You weren't supposed to get hurt. It wasn't supposed to happen. God, you're gorgeous. But don't worry. I'll fix you up. I used to help my dad with this. Dead people. But still... I'll make you look good as new. I promise. Hold still.

E.J.: There's no problem.

Philip: Okay. Let's get this done.

E.J.: Because these things take time, dear boy. It's not like it's just the two of us meeting in a field. I'll have my people. I'm sure you'll have yours. We need to find a neutral territory.

Philip: Fine. All right. Give me a call when everything works out. Then we'll meet up.

E.J.: Very good.

Philip: Make it fast, E.J.

E.J.: I'll do my best.

Philip: Oh, I'd do better than that if I were you. We gave your father his last dose of insulin a while ago.

E.J.: I'm well aware of that, thank you. And let's not forget -- I do still have your fiancée.

Philip: Call me.

E.J.: They're gonna go ahead with the trade.

Nicole: That's great.

E.J.: Okay. Let's see. That means they don't have Stephanie.

I don't have Stephanie, though. I mean -- I don't know -- until I get hold of Owen, I don't even know where I stand.

Nicole: And if you don't find out soon...

E.J.: My father's life is depending on it.

Owen: There we go. Yeah. Such soft hair. Your hair is like silk. And cute, little turned-down mouth. [Chuckles] [Inhales, exhales deeply] I can't do it. He might try to hurt you. I can't let that happen, Stephanie. I'm not gonna give you over to Mr. DiMera.

Sami: So you want to believe that your mom is just this horrible person who lies and manipulates people into doing all sorts of crazy things that they don't want to do?

Will: Okay, mom, look. I didn't mean it like that, okay?

Sami: But that's what you said. Did I not hear you right?

Will: I'm sorry.

Sami: Look -- will, look at me. Please. I did not manipulate Rafe. He wanted to adopt Grace. It's his idea. And I think it's wonderful.

Will: So there's no scheming going on in any of this? There's no big, secret plan?

Sami: No way. I am not changing my mind because of E.J. And who he is and who his father is. He can never find out about this baby.

Will: Mom...

Sami: No. No schemes. No lies.

Will: Okay. Then I'm good with it.

Rafe: [Clears throat]

Arianna: Oh, hey, max.

Max: Hi. Uh, is everything okay here?

Arianna: Yeah. No problem. Just my brother never listens, so it's kind of pointless to even argue with him.

Max: Oh. I didn't know this was your brother. Um, hey, uh, nice to meet you. Max Brady.

Rafe: Rafe Hernandez.

Max: Cool. Uh, Rafe -- uh, you the FBI guy?

Rafe: Yeah. Uh, well, formerly.

Max: Oh. Sami's -- Sami's Rafe, right?

Rafe: Mm. Yeah.

Max: Oh, okay.

Arianna: Yeah. What? It's like all over town now. You guys are joined at the hip.

Max: Um, actually, I-I think that came out wrong. Uh, Sami Brady and -- and -- you know, I overhear my mom talk about Sami and -- and overheard about Rafe, and -- and I'm just putting a face to a name, that's all.

Rafe: No, no. No, it's all good, right? "Sami's Rafe." Excuse me. I got to make a phone call.

Max: Wow. [Chuckles] I really stepped in it that time, didn't I?

Arianna: No, no. He just gets a little scratchy when I come around. That's all.

Max: Right. Right. But everything's okay, though?

Arianna: Yeah. Sure. Why?

Max: Well, when I walked up, I overheard, you know, "it's all happening again," and it kind of sounds ominous.

Arianna: It was nothing. Just a little brother/sister stuff -- that's all.

Max: Right. Right.

Arianna: Will you do me a favor, though? Just forget you heard anything.

Victor: So E.J.'S gonna call you with a site for the exchange?

Philip: Right. So we need to get Stefano ready to roll.

Victor: All right. I'll take care of that. You pick the men you want to take with you and make sure they all know the signal and when to move in, if they have to.

Philip: Well, let's hope it doesn't come to that.

Victor: Well, it still might.

Philip: Then we'll be ready. As soon as I get the details, I'll let you know, okay?

Brady: Why? What's going on?

Owen: Don't worry. Don't worry. I'm not gonna turn you over to Mr. DiMera. I won't do it. Although he is my boss and a very powerful man. But he never told me what he was gonna do with you, and it could be something awful. Now that I've gotten to know you, Stephanie, I don't know if I could take it if I never saw you again. I got to talk to him. I got to talk to Mr. DiMera. I got to find out from him what's going on, and then I can decide. If I could just find that phone.

[Cellphone ringing]

Nicole: Still no answer?

E.J.: No.

Stefano: Elvis. Oh, Elvis will not... fail me.

Sami: Hey, uh, I'm gonna go out for a little bit.

Will: What? Now?

Sami: Yeah. Um, and Grace is asleep, so I was just wondering, since you're sticking around for the night, would you mind just listening for her?

Will: Uh, y-yeah. Sure. Where -- where are you going?

Sami: Just a couple things I have to do. I got to go to the pub.

Max: Yeah, that's -- that's totally fine. I-I forgot what I heard. I just forgot. What did I hear?

Arianna: Thanks.

Max: Yeah.

Arianna: Rafe's kind of private, you know? He just doesn't like people getting in his personal space...

Max: I got you.

Arianna: ...Which is what I do every chance I get.

Max: Uh, but you're allowed to.

Arianna: No, actually, I'm not, which is why we always argue.

Max: [Chuckles] I got siblings, you know, so I know how it is, so... wow. Uh, it's later than I expected. I got -- I got to get going, you know, and hop on the internet and see if Chelsea's up, you know?

Arianna: Uh, what is London, like six hours ahead of us?

Max: Yeah, yeah, I think so. Yeah. She gets up early, you know, to help her mom with the therapy and all that, so I'm gonna -- I'm gonna go. [Chuckles] Yeah. I'll talk to you later.

Arianna: All right. See ya.

Max: Cool.

Arianna: Relax. He said he'd forget what he heard.

Rafe: Mm-hmm.

[Liquid pouring]

Bo: Yeah, well, let me know as soon as the judge approves those warrants. We need to get on it right away. Okay. Later. Hey, man.

Max: Hey. It's kind of late, even for chasing bad guys, huh?

Bo: Yeah, well, these aren't just any bad guys.

Max: Uh, right. The Kiriakises and the DiMeras.

Bo: You got it.

Max: I mean, when will this ever end?

Bo: It's gonna end. I'm gonna make sure of that.

Brady: Does anybody want to answer my question?

Victor: I'll take care of that problem we discussed.

Philip: Okay.

Victor: Excuse me, Brady.

Brady: That leaves you. Anything you want to share?

Philip: Well, there's one thing I can tell you.

Brady: Okay.

Philip: Dad and I are gonna take the high road on this one. We are gonna end the feud with the DiMeras peacefully.

Brady: Well, how are you gonna do that...

Philip: And there's one more thing. I owe you an apology. You were right. I was wrong.

Owen: Oh, come on. It's got to be here somewhere. Stephanie fell right here.

[Cellphone ringing]

Owen: Oh! This is -- hello.

E.J.: Finally! What the hell is going on? Do you still have Stephanie?

Owen: Yes, sir. I have her.

E.J.: Well, thank God for that. What's going -- I call to talk to you, and she answers the phone.

Owen: Oh, well, that won't happen again, sir. She woke up, and she gave me a little bit of trouble, but, uh, that's all over now.

E.J.: But you have her, definitely?

Owen: Yes. That little mishap was just for a few moments.

E.J.: A few minutes? I'm sorry. Why didn't you call me?

Owen: Well, sir, because when she caused me the little mishap and the bit of trouble, I lost the phone, and I had to go looking for it, but I found it now, so everything's fine.

E.J.: You had to go looking for it? You mean you're not with her now?

Owen: N-no. But I left her in a very safe place, sir -- a place where n-no one alive could find her.

Arianna: Don't worry about max, all right? He's one of the good guys. If he says he'll keep quiet, he'll keep quiet.

Rafe: Oh, good, because my life is mine -- private.

Arianna: Yeah, especially the "total disaster" parts.

Rafe: Okay, don't start.

Arianna: Hey, sisters get to speak the truth to brothers. Remember that.

Rafe: The truth. Right. Okay, please, because, actually, all I'm hearing is you spouting off your opinion about things you don't even understand.

Arianna: [Scoffs] I don't understand?

Rafe: We're done.

Arianna: Okay. Yeah. Sure. Just stuff it all in some little box and hope it disappears.

Rafe: Yeah, I will, because it's a hell of a lot better than standing here listening to you dis Sami.

Arianna: That's not what I'm doing.

Rafe: Okay, you know what? We disagree, all right? So let's just leave it at that. In fact, I am going to leave right now before we both say something that we're gonna need to apologize for later, all right?

Arianna: I have to say this, okay, Rafe?

Rafe: Okay.

Arianna: After what happened before, I'm warning you -- that woman could destroy your life.

Philip: We should have listened to you, Brady.

Brady: Philip, I know that I'm always right about everything, but, um, could you be more specific?

Philip: We should have had the cops deal with this.

Brady: The attempt on your life?

Philip: Two attempts.

Brady: Right. Grandfather said no -- is that it?

Philip: I mean, hey, we thought the cops would screw it up. Worrying about evidence, stepping on somebody's rights -- that would leave us more vulnerable.

Brady: Or not.

Philip: Yeah. Look, man, the main reason was I was pissed, okay? I thought I could handle it myself.

Brady: The old-fashioned way.

Philip: Eye for an eye. So I ended up making some stupid mistakes.

Brady: Like what?

Philip: It doesn't matter. Look, what matters is I'm making it right.

Brady: Philip, how are you gonna do that?

Philip: I cannot tell you.

Brady: The hell you can't tell me!

Stefano: [Groans] Hello, Victor. You look well.

Victor: You look God-awful.

Stefano: Oh.

Victor: Get him up. We're taking a little trip.

Stefano: [Groans] [Chuckles] I knew -- I knew... Elvis would outfox you. [Exhales deeply] I'm sorry, Victor. I know how it pains you to lose.

E.J.: Okay. Owen, I want you to go back to the place where you have Stephanie, and I have a new assignment for you.

Owen: What kind of assignment?

E.J.: I want you to secure her well, and then I want you to bring her to the place where you and I met -- within an hour. You understand that?

Owen: S-sir, I, um...

E.J.: What? Is something wrong?

Owen: Sir, nothing bad is gonna happen to Stephanie, is it?

E.J.: Owen, your job is to do what you're told. You don't ask what I'm doing or why I'm doing it, okay? You have one hour -- tops. You understand?

Owen: Yes, sir. He's planning something bad. [Sighs]

Will: Hey, Mia. Come on in. I got my notes right over here. How you doing?

Mia: I'm fine. Thank you for these. This Chem test is like death, you know? I mean, who really cares about quantitative reasoning?

Will: You'll do fine.

Mia: Yeah, easy for you to say. You can do the math.

Will: You -- you can, too.

Mia: I hope so.

Will: [Sighs]

Mia: You okay? You seem kind of down.

Will: Yeah. I got in a fight with my mom.

Mia: What happened?

Will: Well, I thought she was doing her usual -- lying to me about what she was doing -- and, uh, I called her on it. She got really upset with me. Why wouldn't she, right?

Mia: I'm sorry, will.

Will: We talked it over. She still says she's telling the truth -- the whole truth. But...

Mia: But what?

Will: I don't know. I still have this feeling that she's lying.

Rafe: Hey, Sami. I didn't expect to see you here.

Sami: Obviously. You're busy?

Rafe: No.

Arianna: Listen, let me just get out of your hair, okay?

Rafe: Yeah.

Arianna: Nice to see you again, Sami. Bye.

Sami: Nice to be seen.

Rafe: Look, trust me, it's cool.

Sami: She doesn't know me well enough to call me "that woman."

Rafe: Forget about her. Listen, she does not mean half of what she says.

Sami: She meant it.

Rafe: She --

Sami: She meant it. It's okay. I get it, you know? From her perspective, I'm this total, utter bitch who's about to ruin your life.

Rafe: No, you are not.

Sami: And from will's perspective, I'm this horrible, evil mother who's lying and --

Rafe: Sami...

Sami: And there's you, and you always make me feel better when I see you, no matter what your sister says.

Rafe: Well, everything's gonna be all right. Hey, listen to me. Do not get yourself all worked up over something that Ari said -- okay? -- Or what will said, either.

Sami: He said I was a liar... and he's right.

[Scoffs] I am. I'm lying about everything all the time -- every time I open my mouth -- and I just can't stand it anymore.

Bo: When? Okay, something's obviously going down, so keep me posted, and put a fire under those warrants. All right. Later. Sorry.

Max: No, no problem. It sounded intense.

Bo: Yeah, well, we put a tail on Victor about a week or so ago. He lost the surveillance team and disappeared.

Max: [Scoffs] So he's up to something?

Bo: Yeah, and I got to find out what.

Brady: For God's sakes, Philip, you say you wish you listened to me, and then you -- then you shut me out all over again.

Philip: The less you know, the better.

Brady: Let me guess, huh? You're gonna do something big -- right? -- Something illegal, something dangerous, and somehow it's gonna fix everything. Is that right?

Philip: It's handled.

Brady: What if you can't handle it? What if it doesn't work out? You need help!

[Cellphone ringing]

Philip: It's gonna work. Leave me alone. Hello.

E.J.: All right. We're set. One hour at the pier -- dock 15.

Philip: Fine. You'll get what you want, as promised.

E.J.: If anything even seems out of place, you'll never see her again.

Philip: Right back at you, pal. See ya. I got to go.

Brady: Where are you going?

Philip: Out.

Brady: Hold up. I just realized what's going on, Philip.

Owen: Oh, Stephanie! Finally -- you're back. Welcome back.

Stephanie: Owen.

Owen: How you feeling? It's me. It's so good to see your beautiful, bright eyes again.

Stephanie: What happened?

Owen: Oh, you fell. You hit your head. You have a headache?

Stephanie: You were chasing me.

Owen: Well, that's true. Yeah. But that's all over now. Oh, and look what I did for you. When you fell, you bumped your head pretty bad and scratched it. But I fixed it for you. See?

Stephanie: Owen, you have to untie me.

Owen: I wish I could, sweetheart, but you tried to get away. I can't take the chance you'll do that again, now, can I?

Stephanie: No, please, please. I won't try to get away from you.

Owen: I believe you. Thank you for your promise. I know you'll keep it because you're a good person. I've learned that about you.

Stephanie: Will you untie me?

Owen: Well, it doesn't really matter now, anyway. We have to be leaving very soon. I, um, I have to take you to see someone.

Stephanie: You mean the DiMeras? Do you know what they're gonna do to me?

Owen: He didn't say. But, uh --

Stephanie: What?

Owen: I don't think he thinks very kindly of you, Stephanie.

Stephanie: Owen, you can't turn me in to the DiMeras, okay? Don't you understand? They're gonna kill me.

Owen: Shh! Don't be afraid.

Stephanie: I am afraid. The DiMeras are killers.

Owen: Well, they may not have your best interest at heart, but I do -- I promise.

Rafe: Feeling any better?

Sami: No.

Rafe: Come on, maybe a little bit? Come on. Huh?

Sami: Okay, maybe a little bit.

Rafe: Okay.

Sami: You'd think after 16 years, I'd be better at this -- you know, 16 years of raising will, and I -- right? I mean, come on.

Rafe: Yeah. Right.

Sami: And now your sister hates me.

Rafe: [Sighs] Forget about her.

Sami: She thinks I'm going to ruin your life.

Rafe: Will you just forget about...

Sami: I can't forget.

Rafe: She's one of those overprotective types. She always has been, and, trust me, she will come around.

Sami: Oh, really? You think she'll come around when she gets to know me better? She'll hate me even more.

Rafe: What happened with will? Why are you so upset?

Sami: I told him that you want to adopt Grace.

Rafe: Yeah.

Sami: And he got really upset. He, um, accused me of tricking you into it and told me that I was lying about the whole thing, and he's right.

Rafe: You didn't trick me, okay? And you're not lying.

Sami: I am lying.

Rafe: Okay. So you didn't tell will the whole story, but that's not lying.

Sami: He's not gonna see it that way. I mean, he -- when he finds out, he's gonna -- and the worst part is, he was mostly upset because, if the truth comes out, he knows I'm the one who's gonna get hurt.

Rafe: Well, yeah. So is being protective. There are worse things to be.

Sami: He's a good kid.

Rafe: Yeah.

Sami: He's a great son, and I pay him back by lying to him -- right to his face.

Rafe: Sami, Sami, listen to me, okay? Just listen. The only reason you have lied is to keep Grace safe, and that's the same thing with will. The same reason you haven't told him the truth -- it's all about Grace, okay? Will is lucky to have you. You're a great mom. All your kids are lucky.

E.J.: Hey. Is, uh, she sleeping again?

Nicole: Yes. Are you, uh --

E.J.: Yeah. We're doing the exchange.

Nicole: Oh, but what about --

E.J.: I got ahold of Owen finally. He's gonna meet me at the rendezvous point now.

Nicole: All right. Well, I'll be thinking of you every second.

E.J.: I love you.

Nicole: I love you.

Brady: Yeah. I should have realized it sooner.

Philip: Look, Brady, whatever you think is going on, it's all in your head, okay? We'll talk later.

Brady: You never did find Stephanie, did you?

Philip: Yeah, we did.

Brady: Oh, yeah? Where was she?

Philip: Off getting things, letting me get my rest.

Brady: Did you talk to her?

Philip: Yeah. Yeah. I mean, once she turned her phone back on, she got my messages, called in. Look, I got to go.

Brady: Philip, come on. We need to talk about this.

Philip: I can't deal with this right now. Later.

[Door opens, closes]

Stephanie: You have my best interest at heart?

Owen: Yes. Yes, I do. I admire you so much, Stephanie. You've become such a unique, special person to me.

Stephanie: Well, then, you have to untie me. I mean, if you care about me, Owen. You don't want me lying on this...awful, cold whatever it is.

Owen: Body drawer. That's what it's called. It's a body drawer. See? You slide the bodies in and out. It's more convenient that way.

Stephanie: Did Stefano DiMera tell you to kidnap me?

Owen: No. I haven't seen or spoken to the father in quite some time.

Stephanie: E.J. Oh, my God, Owen. That man is evil. If you turn me in to him, he's gonna kill me.

Owen: He is kind of cold, isn't he?

Stephanie: You have to help me, Owen. You're such a good person. My God, how can you get involved in something like this?

Owen: I didn't have a choice.

Stephanie: Owen, you always have a choice. The first time around, you may not have made the right one, but you can fix it now.

Owen: Fix what?

Stephanie: Everything. All you have to do is untie me.

Victor: If you live long enough, you'll be reunited with your beloved son and his slut of a wife. Is that enough to keep you going?

Stefano: [Exhales deeply] You...lost... Victor. Face it. [Exhales deeply] Otherwise, I would not be going home.

Victor: Dead men generally aren't considered winners, my friend.

Stefano: Tell me something. What did Elvis do to make you back down?

Victor: We've been at this a long time, my friend. Let's just say that we decided to end things.

Stefano: Very good. Yes. But, still... I won.

Sami: How is it that you always know the right thing to say to me?

Rafe: [Chuckles] Please. It's just -- you know, will's having a hard time right now. He's going through a lot of changes. But, uh, he's a good kid. And he's smart, too. And he knows that you love him. Right? And you got your baby. She's home. She's safe -- safe with us. That's the most important thing, right?

Sami: Yeah. That's all I want -- for my kids to be safe and for them to know that I love them.

Rafe: Well, they do, okay? Will you stop being so hard on yourself?

Sami: I'll try.

Rafe: Good. And while you're at it, why don't you just... lean on me, okay? Can you do that? Let me take care of you.

Mia: [Chuckles] How's she doing? Did she take the bottle?

Will: Some. She won't settle down, though.

Mia: Can I try?

Will: Uh, yeah. Sure.

Mia: Hi! Hi, there. You remember me?

[Chuckles] I'm the one who can't stop smiling when I'm with you. What's the matter? Huh? You having a rough night? Yeah. Well, it's gonna be okay. Yeah. Sure, it is.

[Chuckles] Everything's gonna be just fine.

Will: [Sighs]

Mia: Are you still upset about that fight with your mom?

Will: Yeah, I guess.

Mia: What started it, anyway?

Will: It was actually about Grace.

Mia: [Chuckles]

Will: My mom's boyfriend wants to adopt her.

Mia: Oh. But wait. I don't get it. Like, why is that a bad thing? Is he not a nice guy or something?

Will: No, he's actually pretty cool. He used to be an FBI agent.

Mia: So, then, what's so wrong with him adopting your sister?

Will: For one, they're not even getting married. I mean, I don't -- I don't care about that, though. It's just...

Mia: You still think that she's lying to you?

Will: It makes no sense, right? I mean, her boyfriend, who she's known for like two minutes, is gonna take on all that responsibility?

Mia: Well, Grace sure is easy to love.

[Both chuckle]

Will: Yeah.

Grace: [Coos]

Will: Yeah, but my mom just lies. I mean, she's done it ever since I was little. I mean, if I had a friend who lied to me like that, I could never forgive them -- ever.

Bo: Yeah?

Brady: Hey, Bo, it's Brady.

Bo: Hey, man.

Brady: Listen, can we meet somewhere? I think there's something important that you need to know about.

Bo: Yeah. Yeah. Let's do it.

E.J.: Oh, for God's sake. Owen, where are you?

Owen: [Sighs] I-I wish -- I wish I knew what the right thing to do was.

Stephanie: The right thing is to make sure E.J. Doesn't get his hands on me.

Owen: But I work for the DiMera family. They've been paying me all these years.

Stephanie: What about the Kiriakis family?

Owen: Oh, I work for them, too -- for two years -- but secretly I was working for Mr. DiMera at the same time.

Stephanie: Victor Kiriakis is gonna be really angry if you do what the DiMeras want.

Owen: I know!

Stephanie: You have to let me go, Owen. Untie me, and I'll make you a promise.

Owen: What?

Stephanie: I'll go back to the Kiriakises, and I won't tell them that you had anything to do with this. That way, you're not in trouble with them, I won't get hurt, and everything will be okay. You'll do this, right, Owen? For me?

Sami: It's really tempting... to just... let you take care of me.

Rafe: Then do it.

Sami: [Exhales sharply] I'm supposed to be strong enough, you know? I should be able to handle this on my own.

Rafe: Well, nobody's strong enough to deal with that every single day. You've been under a lot of stress. You've been so stressed out, you don't even know how to relax anymore. You don't.

Sami: Well, I hate feeling this way -- I do. I just...

Rafe: Then let go. Again, let me take care of you, okay? I'm here for you.

Mia: Thank you.

Will: Man, she must love feeling your heartbeat or something.

Mia: [Chuckles] Yeah. I guess so. You still upset?

Will: Nah, not really. I just hope my mom's telling the truth this time. I mean, it's not like she's a bad person or anything. It's...

Mia: Well, of course not. Look at what she did for Grace.

Will: Yeah, I know, right? The poor kid would still be in an orphanage or farmed out to somewhere where people don't even care about her as much as my mom.

Mia: And we do.

Will: Right.

Mia: You know... what about the mom who gave birth to her?

Will: What about her?

Mia: I don't know. It's just -- do you ever think sometimes late at night she sits and wonders about her baby 'cause she misses her so much?

Bo: Hey, man.

Brady: Hey. Thanks for coming. I know it's late.

Bo: Not a problem. I'm in the middle of pulling an all-nighter. Is this about Victor and Philip again?

Brady: Yeah.

Bo: Can you tell me where they are?

Brady: No. But what I can tell you is worse. I think something's happened to Stephanie.

Philip: Yeah. Yeah, I'm in position now. No one else is here -- not that I can see -- yet.

Victor: I assume my package arrived.

Philip: Yes. Stefano arrived about two minutes ago.

Victor: He looked positively cadaverous when we took him out to the van.

Philip: Yeah. Yeah, he was kind of hanging on by a thread, but the most important thing is that Stephanie is safe and she'll be with us again any minute.

Stephanie: I know you're a good person, Owen. I know you want to do what's right.

Owen: I do. I really, really do.

Stephanie: You have my best interest at heart, right?

Owen: Yes. Yes, yes, yes. You've become a very dear person to me.

Stephanie: Then, please, help me.

[Cellphone ringing]

Owen: Oh! I'm sorry, Stephanie. This is Mr. DiMera. I have to take this call.

Stephanie: No.

Owen: I have to answer this phone.

Stephanie: [Crying] No!

Owen: Hello?

E.J.: Owen, you're late. You should have been here at least five minutes ago with Stephanie. Timing is crucial. Somebody's life is at stake here.

Owen: Yes, I'm very sorry, Mr. DiMera.

E.J.: "Sorry"? What the hell are you sorry for?

Owen: It seems there's gonna be a slight change of plans.

Stephanie: [Crying] No!

Lucas: It's like they're keeping something from me. It's something big -- really big. I can feel it.

Bo: No, you stay put. I'll handle this.

Brady: Come on. I can't sit here.

Bo: I'll handle this.

Philip: You didn't bring Stephanie. You son of a bitch!

Stephanie: Where are we going?

Owen: Wherever we go, we'll have a happy life together.
