Nicole: Mia. What the hell are you doing here?
Mia: How could you do this to me?
Nicole: Oh, my God. W-were you on the ferry? Did you follow me?
Mia: You're a liar, Nicole. I hate you.
Chloe: [Sighs] Come on, Nicole, where are you?
Kate: Chloe. It's me. It's Kate. I need to see you. Now.
Bo: [Breathing heavily] April 14th? That's today.
Hope: Hey, Maggie.
Maggie: Oh, good morning. How are you?
Hope: I'm good. How are you?
Maggie: Nice to see you!
Bo: I had another vision.
Hope: About? Me? Bo, what was it? You have to tell me. You promised you --
Bo: Yeah, I'll -- yeah. It was about you. You were in bed... making love...to another man.
Hope: Bo said something to you, didn't he?
Roman: I really have to go.
Hope: Answer the question. Answer me.
Roman: We're fine. Bo's fine. I'm just in a hurry. That's all. See you later.
Roman: Good morning.
Hope: Oh, Roman. Hi. Good morning. Y-you haven't seen Thompson by any chance, have you? We were supposed to meet here before we head to the narco stakeout.
Roman: There has been a change of plans. I'm your new partner.
Nicole: A liar? Honey, what are you talking about?
Mia: I know what you did, Nicole.
Nicole: What did I do?
Mia: I know all about your past, and there is no way I'm letting you keep my baby.
Chloe: This is a really bad time, Kate. Nicole's coming over, and I'm helping her get ready for her wedding.
Kate: Yes, and I'm sure she needs as much help as she can possibly get, but that wedding ceremony isn't for hours, and I only need you for a few minutes.
Chloe: Can't you just tell me over the phone?
Kate: It's about the shoot. We need to talk face-to-face.
Chloe: Okay, well, how about tomorrow? You can have me all day if you want.
Kate: You know, Chloe, this show is just as much about you as it is about me. We are a team. These meetings aren't optional. I thought I let you know that when I hired you.
Chloe: [Sighs] You did.
Kate: Okay, then. You need to make more of an effort, and wedding or no wedding, you owe me time to talk about business.
Chloe: Okay, um, well, do you want me to meet you at the office?
Kate: No. I'm at the pub. You can meet me here. And actually, I have a surprise for you.
Kate: Daniel, right on time.
Mia: You lied to me about everything.
Nicole: Mia, please --
Mia: I mean, did you seriously think you were gonna get away with all of this?
Nicole: Well, if you'd stop interrupting and let me expl--
Mia: I knew -- I knew it was a mistake to trust you. I knew it.
Nicole: No, you did the right thing, Mia.
Mia: "Yeah, 'cause I'm gonna give your baby the life she deserves, Mia. I'm gonna be the perfect mother, Mia." Oh, why? Why did I ever listen to you?
Nicole: Because I was telling the truth, and I'm a damn good mother.
Mia: No. No, you're not. You're an alcoholic porn star who tried to murder somebody, and there is no way I'm letting you near my little girl. Now, where is she? Where's my daughter?
Nicole: Mia, if you would just let me explain --
Mia: You had plenty of chances to explain, Nicole. Now, where's Sydney?
Nicole: I don't have a drinking problem anymore. And that other thing -- it's -- it's ancient history, and I didn't have a choice.
Mia: You tried to murder your ex-husband. How do you explain that?
Nicole: There were circumstances beyond my control.
Mia: That is such, such garbage. I read about it online. I was up half the night reading about you.
Nicole: Well, then you must have read that I was never convicted.
Mia: Oh, gee, that makes everything so much better, doesn't it?
Chloe: Oh, hey. There you are. I was starting to wonder.
Nicole: Yeah. Here I am.
Chloe: Oh, hi. Who's this?
Hope: Had an early briefing at the java café about the stakeout with Thompson. You looked you so peaceful, I didn't want to wake you. Love you.
Hope: What happened to Thompson?
Roman: He came down with that flu that's going around. He called in sick. We're actually down four officers today, so that's why I'm stepping in. No choice.
Hope: So, what do we have?
Roman: I think it looks to me like a routine stakeout. Probably a drug deal. But I think we're fishing today. Probably no arrests.
Hope: Still going down at the pier?
Roman: Yeah, you ready?
Hope: Yeah, let's do it.
Roman: Yeah, what's up? Yeah, I do know that place. Okay. We're on it. No pier today.
Roman: Seems our drug dealer has moved his operation across town.
Hope: To where?
Roman: La hacienda motel.
Daniel: So, uh, so your own show -- a talk show.
Kate: Yeah. Yeah, it was something I always wanted to do, you know? And it seemed like a logical progression for the show -- for the company. So, um, you know, I pitched the idea, mentioning hearth and home to garner interest, and, voilà, they bought it.
Daniel: Well, that's impressive.
Kate: Yeah. Yeah, I'm pretty excited.
Daniel: Sounds like a lot of work, though.
Kate: Mm, bring it on. Hard work -- I thrive on that. You know that.
Daniel: Oh, yeah. So, tell me about the show.
Kate: Well, um, it's geared towards women, of course. And, um, each -- each episode will, um, focus on a topic pertinent to the demographic -- say, whether that's careers or relationships or health.
Kate: Which is actually why I'm having this meeting. I was wondering if you'd like to be on the show.
Daniel: Uh. [Chuckles] Me? You're not serious.
Kate: Yes, I am. I am serious. I mean, it's not a big commitment. It's only one show.
Daniel: You know, Kate, I -- I...no.
Kate: [Laughs] What, a 15-minute interview? You couldn't do that?
Daniel: No, I know. It's just -- it's just the thought of it is, uh...
Kate: Is, uh -- is what?
Daniel: Stage fright. Yeah, I just don't like the idea of cameras, so...
Kate: You poor baby. I didn't realize you were such a shy man.
Daniel: I am.
Kate: Well, you know, as uncomfortable as that may make you, it's part of your charm. It's what draws women to you.
Daniel: [Chuckles] So, uh, what is it that I would be interviewed about?
Kate: Well, I mean, I think you could talk about a number of medical subjects -- you know, medical advances. You could answer questions about health -- that kind of thing. You know, I think you might end up really enjoying yourself. You should do it.
Daniel: All right. Yeah. Yeah, I'll do it.
Kate: [Laughs] Great. That's fantastic.
Daniel: As long as it'll help somebody.
Kate: Oh, yeah. I can think of one person it's helping already.
Chloe: So, um, who are you?
Mia: Oh. You mean Nicole hasn't told you about me? Imagine that.
Nicole: Okay. Uh, Chloe, this is the young girl I've been mentoring. You know, from that, um, home for troubled teens? Did I -- did I ever tell you about that?
Chloe: Uh, I don't think so.
Nicole: Huh. Thought I did.
Chloe: Oh, well, it's -- it's very nice meeting you. Um, Nicole, can I --
Nicole: Yeah. Oh, of course. Just excuse us for a second, hon, okay? [Clears throat]
Chloe: Um, so, what's going on? I thought you wanted me to help you get ready for the wedding.
Nicole: I did. I -- I do. Of course.
Chloe: Well, what's with the plus one? Not that I don't think it's totally sweet what you're doing for this girl, but this is your wedding day.
Nicole: I know. It's just that she's in a crisis, and I didn't --
Mia: Wait, uh, did you just say "crisis"? Is that what you want to call it? Why don't you tell the truth for a change?
Nicole: Well, the, uh -- the truth is, Mia here has...had a rough life, and it's all starting to unravel. It's heartbreaking, really.
Mia: Yeah. Heartbreaking that I fell for your act.
Nicole: Okay, look. I know you want to lash out at someone, but you have to be honest with yourself. That's the most important thing.
Chloe: Uh, look, if you guys need to talk about something...
Nicole: No. No, I think we've pretty much solved our little crisis here, right? You remember where to pick up the ferry, don't you?
Mia: [Scoffs] Oh, I'm not going anywhere.
Chloe: Um, okay. I don't get what's going on here, but, uh, I have to run anyway to meet Kate at the pub, so...
Nicole: Oh, no. You're leaving?
Chloe: Yeah, she said it was urgent, but I promise I will be back soon, okay?
Nicole: Okay. I guess we have all morning to make me look beautiful.
Chloe: That's right. And don't you dare put on that dress without me.
Nicole: I swear I won't.
Chloe: Okay, well, I'll be back soon, and it was really nice meeting you. I hope that things start to turn around for you.
Mia: Oh, they will.
Chloe: [Sighs] Okay, bye.
Nicole: Bye, Chloe.
Mia: So...this is your dress, huh?
Nicole: Yes, it is.
Mia: I think you can leave it in that bag because there isn't going to be a wedding.
Maggie: Oh, morning, Bo.
Bo: Hey, Maggie.
Bo: Hey, have you seen hope?
Maggie: You just missed her. About 10 minutes ago.
Bo: Oh, she take off with detective Thompson -- tall guy with glasses?
Maggie: Well, actually, she left with Roman.
Maggie: Roman. They left together.
Roman: Turn your phone off. Perps might be able to track the signal.
Hope: Way ahead of you. It's already off.
Roman: All right.
Hope: All right, guys. Any time now.
Roman: Well, don't get too optimistic. We could be here all day.
Daniel: Exactly what sort of questions will you be asking? Will they be personal or specific to your treatment?
Kate: We'll go over that whole thing once my host gets here.
Daniel: Hmm, your host.
Kate: Matter of fact, I think they should be here any minute.
Daniel: What? It's not you? You're not the host?
Kate: Oh, dear God, no. I mean, I have too much on my plate as it is, producing. And I think I'm going to go for a younger audience.
Daniel: Well, who is this person?
Kate: Ah, there she is right now. Hey, Chloe. Thanks for coming. Come on over and join us. Here. Have a seat.
Chloe: Hey, Daniel.
Chloe: What are you doing here?
Kate: So, do you want to tell her, or should I?
Chloe: Tell me what?
Kate: Oh. I'll do it. Daniel has agreed to be on our show. Isn't that terrific?
Chloe: Actually, uh, no. I think it's a pretty bad idea.
Mia: She's my daughter, Nicole. She belongs with me.
Nicole: I understand you're angry.
Mia: No. You don't understand. You have no idea how I am feeling right now -- how angry I am. I am sick to my stomach.
Nicole: Okay, but if we could just discuss this like rational human beings, I could figure out what --
Mia: Are you kidding me? You're not rational or human. You're a monster. That's what you are. You are a lying, scheming, murdering monster who should be locked up for the rest of her life.
Nicole: Mia, stop saying that. I didn't kill anyone. Who told you this stuff anyway?
Mia: I already explained that. I read it online.
Nicole: No, you didn't. Someone told you. Who was it?
Mia: Why does it matter?
Nicole: Why does it matter? I want to know who's trying to hurt me.
Mia: Look, anybody could have told me. Seems like everybody in this town knows about your past.
Nicole: [Sighs] Mia, you listen to me, and you listen hard... I am a good person with a good heart. And all I've ever wanted was to find someone that I could love, that I could commit to and marry and have a child with. I was born to be a mother. I know that now.
Nicole: Don't look at me like that, please.
Mia: You expect me to believe anything you say?
Kate: I don't understand why this would be a problem. Why wouldn't we want him on the show? I mean, he's a world-renowned surgeon.
Daniel: Well, hardly world-renowned, Kate.
Kate: Oh, please, don't start with the false modesty again.
Daniel: I'm not being modest. I just --
Kate: Okay. Fine, fine, fine. You're well-known in this country. Would you concede to that? I mean, when people hear your name, I'm sure the first thing they think of is what you can do with your hands. And that face -- was a face ever made for TV? I'll tell ya.
Daniel: Let me just be clear.
Chris: Oh, ms. Roberts. Oh, thank heavens I found you. I tried to call your cellphone, but it went to voicemail. It must have been turned off. So, then I went to your house, but then I thought maybe you were here at the pub because I know how you like to have a nosh here, and you can afford it with that little figure of yours -- lucky lady. Oh, I'm so sorry to interrupt, Chloe, whoever you are. Hello. Um, anyway, we have a major disaster on our hands. I am completely beside myself, if that's not obvious.
Kate: Okay, sweetie. Calm down. Calm down, and tell me what's wrong, okay?
Chris: You -- you know the studio we rented for your talk show? Major conflagration.
Kate: Okay, what does that mean? Does that mean a fire?
Chris: A fire. A fire. Smoke. Four-alarmers. But no one was injured, thank God -- miracle of miracles -- 'cause it happened at the crack of dawn, so everyone was asleep, you know, and that's what's important, really. I mean, things are just things. You know, a bookcase, a chair, a desk, a camera -- all replaceable.
Chris: Although in this economy...
Kate: Was there much damage?
Chris: Ms. Roberts, it was completely obliterated.
Kate: Oh, my God. Oh, my God.
Chloe: Well, looks like the show just got canceled.
Hope: There he is. There's our man.
Roman: Yeah, that's him, all right. Okay. 311 to central. Do you copy? 311 to central. Do you copy? Does anybody hear me? Do you copy? Damn it. We lost contact with the station.
Hope: What about the landline?
Roman: Not a good idea. That guy out there -- his brother owns this place. You know, for now, I think we're on our own.
Maggie: Do you mind if I sit for a moment, or were you expecting hope?
Bo: No, uh, hope is -- she's working, so, yeah. Please, sit.
Maggie: Is everything all right?
Bo: Yeah, fine. Um, how are things going with you?
Maggie: Oh, fine, thanks. I saw hope, uh, last week, and she said that Ciara had a little stomach virus. She's -- she's -- she's better now, I hope.
Bo: Yeah, you know. It was that 24-hour bug that was going around.
Maggie: Right. So then this has nothing to do with her.
Maggie: Your being distracted.
Bo: No. She's, uh -- Ciara's fine
Maggie: [Sighs] Well, good. I'm glad. She's a wonderful little girl. You know, I said to hope that if the two of you ever needed a babysitter, please think of me. You know, call me. If I'm not busy, I'll come a-runnin'. Goodness, Bo. For heaven's sakes. You suddenly went so pale.
Bo: Hey. [Chuckles] I'm fine. Don't worry about me.
Maggie: All right. Okay. Well, then, I guess I better be, uh, heading over to the pub. Please, uh, give hope my love, okay?
Bo: Okay. Will do.
Maggie: Okay. Bye, now.
Bo: We'll see ya.
Mia: Look at you. You can't even give me a straight answer.
Nicole: Fine. It's true. Okay? I said it. Are you happy?
Mia: Happy? Nicole, I trusted you with my baby, and you turn out to be... oh, my God.
Nicole: Mia, you have no idea. My father was a sick bastard. He forced me -- forced me to do things. The movie...
Mia: Yeah, and I suppose somebody forced you to try to kill your ex.
Mia: I wouldn't be surprised if you killed tony DiMera.
Nicole: Oh, my God, no.
Mia: Makes perfect sense. You get rid of him, he can't tell anybody the truth about Sydney.
Nicole: I never laid a finger on tony DiMera. His death was an accident.
Mia: How do you expect me to believe that when everything else you have told me is a lie?
Chatsworth: Commissioner Brady.
Bo: Hey, Chatsworth. I was about to call the station. I'm looking for hope. Uh, do me a favor, will you? Radio down to the pier.
Chatsworth: Uh, the stakeout?
Bo: Yeah. Uh, I think Roman's with her.
Chatsworth: They're not at the pier. The location changed.
Bo: Why wasn't I notified?
Chatsworth: Commander Brady was supposed to send us a 20, but radio communications are down. Nobody knows where they are.
Bo: What the... find Roman's informant. He'll know where they are. Go, go. [Sighs]
Chris: You know, I checked everywhere, ms. Roberts, before I came over here.
Kate: You called every studio in the vicinity?
Chris: Every single one of them. You know I'm a multitasker, so I was able to call them as I ran. Well, it wasn't really a run. It was more of a quick step, but --
Kate: Please. Shh, shh. Just for a minute. I just need you to be quiet for a minute, okay, so I can think about this.
Chris: You know what this crisis makes me realize, ms. Roberts? I need to step it up at the gym -- maybe do some yoga or something.
Kate: Okay, all right. That's it. It's just it, honey. You're just making me more nervous, okay? So, you need to go home, make some phone calls, do some e-mails, okay, until I find a way to figure this out. Then I'll call you.
Chris: Okay, okay. Please do that, ms. Roberts. You know, 'cause anything you need, okay? I just so want this show to be a huge success and run for years and years and years. Okay. Of course, it could be a big flop and be canceled in 13 weeks, but --
Kate: Go! Chris, go.
Chris: Sorry. I'm gone. I'm gone, I'm gone.
Kate: God, this is just great.
Daniel: No luck?
Kate: No, it's a nightmare. I get the network brass all fired up, and now I can't do the show.
Chloe: Well, maybe it's for the best. Since I was just offered that lead at the Vancouver opera, it probably wouldn't have worked out for me anyway.
Kate: You are already committed to hearth and home, Chloe.
Daniel: But if she doesn't want to do it...
Kate: Well, then, she shouldn't have signed the contract.
Daniel: Now, Kate, there's got to be somebody else out there who would be more fitted to --
Kate: You know, Daniel, I'm handling this. Thanks.
Chloe: Well, you could find somebody else. I mean, now with everything on hold...
Kate: Nothing's on hold. I have a host, I have a guest, and I am going to make this show work.
Hope: They must have jammed the radio signals. Yeah, the phones, too.
Roman: Well, if we're not making any arrests, hopefully it won't matter.
Hope: Any sign of our buyer?
Roman: Nope. But it looks like our dealer brought along a few buddies.
Hope: They armed?
Roman: Can't tell, but probably.
Hope: Oh! [Sighs]
Roman: I'm sorry.
Hope: Here, just take the coffee.
Bo: Why is it out? Why is the communication out? You know what? Forget it. Hey, man. What have you got for me?
Chatsworth: Lead on commander Brady's informant.
Bo: Well, that informant better be able to tell me where my wife is.
Mia: All those times you told me she'd be better off with you... you took me to your house. You showed me her room. That was all a part of your plan, wasn't it? To suck me in.
Nicole: I am the best thing that happened to Sydney.
Mia: If you say that one more time...
Nicole: You are a teenager, Mia! You have no -- no job, no husband, no support. How the hell did you think you could raise a child?
[Sighs] Sydney is in a loving home with two parents who adore her. We are giving her the life she deserves.
Mia: No, you're giving her a life that is a lie. Nicole, you faked your pregnancy. You couldn't even tell your fiancé you lost your own baby.
Nicole: That doesn't matter anymore.
Mia: It matters to me. And I'm sure it would matter to that guy you're marrying, too.
Nicole: Mia, so help me, if you tell E.J. --
Mia: No, you know what, Nicole? You can criticize me all you want. You can sit here and you can tell me that I am too young or too stupid or too poor to raise a child, but I would be a hell of a lot better mother than you ever would.
Nicole: Where are you going?
Mia: To get my daughter back.
Kate: Okay, call me when you find out. Thanks.
Chloe: Kate, I'm really sorry. I know how important this was to you.
Kate: I don't think you do.
Chloe: Um, well, if we're done here, I -- I promised Nicole that I would be back really soon. I have to help her get ready.
Kate: No. No, Chloe, you need to stay here. You have to help me figure it out, all right?
Daniel: Just up the meds to 15 milligrams. Thanks.
Daniel: Hey, Maggie.
Maggie: Is everything all right?
Daniel: Yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah. Fine.
Maggie: Then, uh, why were you looking at Chloe and Kate that way?
Daniel: Well, I'm just -- I'm, uh, worried about Kate.
Maggie: Oh, dear. She hasn't had a setback.
Daniel: No, no. It's nothing like that, but I am concerned about what could happen if she doesn't slow down.
Maggie: Did she tell you about the talk show?
Daniel: And that's why she's so stressed. She got worried that their studio went up in flames.
Maggie: What? Oh, that's terrible.
Daniel: Yeah, and now she's in a total panic, scrambling to find another studio, so it's...
Maggie: Hmm. Hmm. Well, I think I might have the perfect solution.
Roman: Hope, I really am sorry about that. I didn't see you.
Hope: Stop apologizing. It's fine. It's fine.
Roman: What happened to your hand?
Hope: I spilled some coffee on it.
Roman: All right, let me take a look.
Hope: No, it's fine.
Roman: Let me take a look.
Hope: It's not bad, really. Just don't touch me, okay?
Nicole: Mia, wait. Look. I can't let you leave -- not until you hear me out.
Mia: I'm through listening to your stories, Nicole.
Nicole: I never said I was perfect, okay? Mia, I have -- I've done a lot of things that I regret. And those things are gonna haunt me for the rest of my life. But I am not that person anymore.
[Sighs] You have to believe that. Falling in love with E.J. -- Oh, it's changed me. He's brought out a side of me I never knew I had.
Mia: Where have I heard that before, Nicole?
Nicole: Look, I have never been handed anything in my life -- never. And I have worked my ass off for everything that I have wanted, and all I ever wanted was -- was a husband and a -- and a child who could depend on me and love me for me. So, imagine how I felt, Mia, when I found out I was pregnant, when they told me that I couldn't get pregnant anymore -- that I couldn't have a baby. It was the most wonderful thing in my life.
[Sighs] And E.J. And I... we grew closer. And we fell in love. And I was so happy. I was genuinely happy. And then, just like that... it was over.
[Sniffles] And my little girl was gone. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
[Sobs] It's just every time I talk about it... oh, Mia... losing my little girl made me realize how precious life is. It made me appreciate everything I have in my life -- a man who loved me, who wanted to have a family with me. And when you said that you would give me your baby...everything was complete.
[Sniffles] Please, Mia. Do you understand now? All those horrible things that I did...that's not me anymore. You have to believe that.
Maggie: Well, do they know what caused the fire?
Kate: No. No, they don't.
Maggie: Well, thank goodness no one was hurt.
Kate: Well, yes. I mean, definitely. That's the most important thing, but the show must go on. You know what I mean?
Maggie: Yes, it must, and it will, and I'm gonna see to it personally.
Kate: Excuse me?
Maggie: Chez rouge is gonna be your new studio.
Kate: Chez Rouge?
Maggie: Yes, you can set up your cameras there, your lights -- whatever it is you want. It's a perfect fit, don't you think?
Chloe: But, Maggie, you have a restaurant to run. You can't just shut it down.
Kate: Well, no, no, no. Because we could tape after hours, right?
Maggie: Well, there you go.
Kate: Well, and we don't have to tape every day, either, and of course we're going to compensate you for the use of the restaurant.
Maggie: Kate, you don't have to sell me. I wouldn't have offered if I didn't think it was a good idea. And it is good for publicity, too, right?
Kate: Definitely, girlfriend. Thank you so much. Thank you, thank you. I will call you.
Maggie: You're welcome, and, as they say, I'll see you on the set.
Kate: Wow. Wow, wow, wow. Can you believe that? This is fabulous. So, the two of you -- still on board, right?
Roman: Hope...Hope, what the hell's going on here? What's wrong?
Hope: I overreacted. I'm sorry. I apologize. Bo told you to stay away from me, didn't he?
Roman: Yeah. Yeah, he did.
Hope: That's why you were acting so strange at the pub yesterday.
Roman: Would you tell me what the hell is going on? Do you have any idea why he wants us to stay away from each other?
Hope: It's ridiculous, okay? I can't even say it. Come on. We have a job to focus on.
Roman: No, no, no. Talk to me. Tell me what's going on here.
Hope: Here we go. Here's our guy. Here's the buyer. Damn it.
Hope: One of our guys is on the move, and I think he spotted me.
Nicole: Mia... you do believe me, don't you?
Mia: I don't know what to believe.
Nicole: I'm the same person I was before, when you gave me the baby. Nothing's changed.
Mia: See, the thing is, is it has. I had my doubts, Nicole, even back then, but I convinced myself that this was the right thing for her -- for my baby. But now... I don't think it is.
Nicole: You don't mean that.
Mia: You were so, so good about lying about your past. How do you expect me to trust you?
Nicole: I never lied about my past.
Mia: No, but you did keep stuff from me. What else haven't you told me?
Nicole: Nothing. I swear. It's all out in the open now.
Mia: I know. I'm sorry, Nicole, but... Sydney is my daughter. She belongs with me.
Nicole: Okay. If you think it's for the best, then okay.
Mia: You're gonna let me go?
Nicole: Yeah. I mean, why should I fight you? You've obviously already made up your mind. Go. Let's not prolong this thing, huh? But just understand something. There could be repercussions.
Mia: What repercussions?
Nicole: Well, when the truth does come out about Sydney, yes, things will be bad for me, but it will be worse for you and Sydney.
Kate: So, can I count on the two of you? Hello? Is anyone gonna answer?
Chloe: Yeah, you can count on us. At least on me, anyway.
Daniel: Yeah, I'm in.
Chloe: So, uh, the segment that I'll be doing with Daniel -- what will it be?
Kate: I think it could do with healthy food choices.
Daniel: Food choices? I'm a doctor, not a nutritionist. And you know what? It's really not my area of expertise.
Kate: Well, then you can fake it. I mean, you're good at faking things, right?
Chloe: Well, you're not gonna make me cook, are you?
Kate: No. No, the food will all be prepared, but I might ask you to sample an entrée or two.
Chloe: Okay. That I can handle.
Kate: Good. 'Cause I'm thinking that will probably be the most important part of the segment.
Bo: Hey, fancy face. Uh, if you happen to pick up your messages, call me. Would you please? Hey, hey. Did you find the informant?
Chatsworth: I went to his apartment, but it was empty. The guy must have bailed on us.
Bo: Aw, son of a bitch.
Hope: [Sighs] Damn it. Still no signal.
Roman: Are you sure the guy saw you?
Mia: You think I don't know what you're doing? You're trying to manipulate me.
Nicole: No, Mia, I'm not. I'm trying to protect you.
Mia: From what?
Nicole: Let's say the truth does come out, and this whole thing goes to court. If the D.A. Has an ax to grind, he's gonna make it look like you tried to sell the baby on the black market, and that's not exactly legal.
Mia: I'm a minor. Not like they'd put me in jail.
Nicole: Sure about that?
Mia: Yeah. Because, Nicole, you're the adult. You're the one who would get in trouble. Not me.
Nicole: Okay, maybe you would get off scot-free. Or maybe they'd throw you in juvie, take away your baby. Is that a risk you're willing to take?
Mia: I can't believe you. You sit here, you act like you're my friend, like you care, and now you're going to threaten me?
Nicole: It's not a threat, Mia. It's a promise.
Bo: As soon as you hear from Roman or hope, you call me.
Hope: Time to get ready.
Roman: All right. Let's do it.
Rafe: Your mom and I, uh...
Will: What? She dumped you?
Nicole: You need to leave.
Brady: You know what I need? I need you.
