Tony: Yes.

Philip: Oh, you answered your phone. I'm shocked.

Tony: I'm sorry. Who's this?

Philip: It's Philip Kiriakis. You didn't get any of the messages I left?

Tony: No, I haven't checked. Listen, what can I do for you?

Philip: Well, Tony, we need to talk.

Tony: Well, Philip, I'm very busy right now.

Philip: I won't take up much of your time. I promise. Why don't I just swing by the place right now, and we can --

Tony: Well, you can swing by my place, but I'm not gonna be here.

Philip: Okay, where will you be? I'll meet you anyplace you want.

Tony: God, you're a com-- persistent cuss, aren't you? Um, all right, listen. I'm gonna be on East Calumet in about an hour. The pier's on the way.

Philip: That works for me.

Tony: All right, 30 minutes.

Philip: I'll be there.

Tony: Well, I don't know what's gonna be gained by this talking or complaining or whatever it is you have in mind, because what's done is done.

Philip: We'll see about that.

Daniel: Brady, hey.

Brady: Daniel, hey. What's up, man?

Daniel: I'm looking for Kate. Have you seen her?

Brady: Uh, she's gone. She flew to Vegas for Chloe and Lucas' wedding.

Daniel: Kate went with them?

Kate: Well, I'm sitting next to you, apparently.

Lucas: Hi, Mom.

Kate: 26A.

Lucas: I, uh, thought you were in first class.

Kate: No, it was full, unfortunately.

Lucas: Oh, so you have to slum it in coach with us.

Kate: Yeah. I'll survive.

Lucas: I guess now I have to be good, right? I'll have to keep my hands off you.

Chloe: Yeah, you'd better.

Lucas: I don't know about that. It's gonna be real hard.

Kate: [Thinking] Such a happy, happy girl, worshipped and adored by her clueless husband. Better enjoy it while you can, my sweet, because lying sluts who betray my son -- well, I'm afraid your rosy future is about to turn very, very bleak.

Bo: We'll all tell you the same thing because it's part of our training, right out of the manual -- don't take things personally. And it's-- [Chuckles] it's really good advice, believe me. But, um, I have not been able to follow that advice. I have taken things personally my whole career. I -- I don't know. I just can't help it. It's part of who I am.

Jake: Seems like it worked out fairly well so far.

Bo: [Chuckles] A lot of the times not so much, but in the long run, yeah.

Jake: And what's it like being your big brother's boss?

Hope: Oh, forget about his brother. You should really be asking about his wife.

Bo: [Chuckles]

Chloe: Stop it.

Lucas: What?

Chloe: It tickles.

Lucas: What tickles? What am I doing?

Chloe: Just read your magazine, okay?

Lucas: Oh, come on. What, I can't nuzzle you? This is a non-nuzzling flight? I didn't read that when I came in.

Intercom: Ladies and gentlemen, flight attendants will now be coming through the aisle with headsets to purchase. There will be a $2 charge.

Chloe: Lucas, if you don't stop it --

Lucas: What? I am a newlywed. Cut me some slack, damn it.

Chloe: The flight attendants are staring at us. What am I gonna have to do, move my seat?

Flight Attendant: Ma'am!

Kate: Die, you bitch! Die! Die! Die!

Lucas: Mom, what the hell are you doing?! My God!

Flight Attendant: Ma'am?

Kate: Oh, sorry.

Flight Attendant: Would you like to purchase a headset?

Kate: No, I'll pass.

Daniel: Kate's in Vegas.

Brady: Yeah. I mean, I don't know how she found out that Chloe and Lucas were eloping, but apparently she wanted to go with them. I'm sure they're thrilled about it, right? I guess she just wanted to be around them and wish them well.

Daniel: Yeah, well, I, uh -- I hope that's the case.

Brady: Wait, um, you and Kate aren't still...

Daniel: No, no. Did we get together? No. No, we -- I just -- I'm trying to -- well, I want to talk to her about something. That's all.

Brady: Is everything all right?

Daniel: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Why?

Brady: Well, it's just 'cause last time we talked when we were jogging, you said you had a new woman in your life.

Daniel: Yeah, yeah. Well, uh, I'm not with anyone now, so... yeah, how about you?

Brady: Me? No. I'm, uh, I'm single. Not even dating. It's like those magazines say. Bachelorhood is everything it's cracked up to be and less.

Daniel: Yeah, right.

Brady: So, this new woman in your life --

Daniel: You know, I said I wasn't with her, didn't I? It didn't work out, obviously.

Brady: Yeah, obviously I overstepped a boundary. I'm sorry, man.

Daniel: No, it's my bad. I'm sorry. I just -- I didn't mean to snap. It's just been a -- [Sighs] I keep expecting it to get easier, but it doesn't.

Brady: Still not over her, then, huh?

Daniel: Well, I have to be because she is over me.

Lucas: Then I was thinking we could build the guesthouse here.

Chloe: Oh, our pink guesthouse?

Lucas: Huh?

Chloe: I'm kidding. No pink. Except for the master bedroom.

Lucas: A pink master.

Chloe: Yeah. And the nursery, of course, because our first baby's gonna be a girl.

Lucas: Look at you. You got this all planned out, don't you?

Chloe: Yeah. Well, you know Allie wants a sister. And since we're gonna have at least a dozen kids, don't worry. You'll get your boy.

Kate: Oh, that is it! That is it! I can't take it anymore. I can't take it anymore! Shut up.

Lucas: Mom, what the hell?

Kate: The two of you are giggling like two little fools, and you're yammering on and on about your dream house and making babies. It's making me sick. Sick!

Chloe: Kate, what's wrong?

Kate: As if you don't know. Why don't you just tell him the truth, you lying little pig?

Lucas: Mom, stop. Enough.

Kate: How can you be so trusting? Lucas, she has been cheating on you with Daniel behind your back! She's been making a fool of you, having sex with him.

Lucas: What?!

Chloe: That's not true.

Kate: Tell him the truth, all right? You have been carrying on with Daniel for months. And don't you dare try to deny it.

Lucas: Chloe, please, tell me that you didn't. Oh, my God. You did. You did. Why? Why?

Chloe: Because --

Kate: Oh, God. Come on, tell the truth. For once in your miserable life, just tell the truth.

Chloe: Because I'm in love with him. Lucas, please, don't go. No, please, Lu--

Kate: It's over, baby. It's over. The charade is over.

Chloe: Kate, how could you do it? Why would you tell him that?

Kate: Why would I tell him?! Because I love my son, that's why! And I am not going to let a lying little slut like you destroy his life.

Chloe: A tennis court? Are you serious?

Lucas: Come on. We got plenty of room. And you love to play tennis.

Chloe: Yeah, but I suck.

Lucas: So? You take lessons. You'll get better.

Chloe: Okay, okay. But where's the pool going?

Lucas: Honey, the pool's gonna go right there. I've already showed you.

Kate: [Sighs] Maybe the honest-to-God truth is the only way to go.

[Footsteps approaching]

Philip: Well... right on time.

Tony: I didn't know I was on the clock. So, what's on your mind?

Philip: How'd the christening go?

Tony: It went very well, thank you. Get to the point.

Philip: I'm guessing you're the baby's Godfather since you're E.J.'s brother.

Tony: I'm sure you didn't leave me all those messages, wanting me to come here immediately, to discuss my niece's christening.

Philip: Just being friendly.

Tony: Mm. So let me reciprocate. Don't take yourself so seriously, P.K. It's not good for your blood pressure. That way, you'll have a much more joyous life, and you'll receive the greatest benefits.

Philip: I'm enjoying my life a whole lot, thank you very much.

Tony: Really? Hmm. I always thought you were tense, tightly wound.

Philip: Only when I think someone's trying to steal from me.

Tony: Oh, now we're getting to the point. I see what you're talking about -- the deal I made with Miss Layton. So, let me just clear the decks, okay? I didn't steal from you or anyone else. It was a perfectly legitimate business deal.

Philip: Except for one minor detail. Those plans belong to me. The blueprints belong to me.

Tony: Well, you have your lawyers. I have mine.

Philip: Tony, what you did was morally reprehensible. You don't have a problem with that?

Tony: Morally reprehensible. Why, because it doesn't suit your purposes? And just in case you think I've been complicit with the DiMera Enterprises when it comes to this endeavor, let me be really clear. I do not do business with E.J. I work totally independently.

Philip: So you're your own man now. I'm impressed.

Tony: You know what this boils down to? A conflict of generational interests.

Philip: I don't follow.

Tony: Simply put, I do not do business with entitled young men who think that the bloody world owes them a living, those who are spoon-fed.

Philip: I know the type well. I wouldn't even call them men. Punks is more like it.

Tony: Do you know that I paid Miss Layton handsomely for those blueprints? And I have the documents to prove it. So, what are you gonna do, sue me?

Philip: Sue? Why would I sue you for something that belongs to me?

Tony: Well, what are you gonna do, huh, challenge me with your lightsaber, young Padawan?

Brady: You know what? I can actually relate to what you're going through. I know it's rough.

Daniel: No, no. I brought it on myself.

Brady: Meaning?

Daniel: Meaning I shouldn't have gotten involved with this person in the first place.

Brady: Well, that's -- that's easy to say, isn't it?

Daniel: Yeah, it is. Anyway, I shouldn't even be thinking about it because, like I told you, she's -- she's already moved on, so...

Brady: That's the hardest part about it, isn't it?

Daniel: Hardest?

Brady: Yeah. I mean, it is for me. Right now. Chloe and I -- even though we're divorced, I don't like the fact that she's already getting remarried. And that bothers me, that sense of possessiveness. I still have it, you know? I can't let it go. I'm not sure it's ever gonna go away.

Chloe: Mmm. Airplane chocolate mousse. Yummy. Here, try it.

Lucas: Yeah, is it good? Mm-hmm. Not bad.

Chloe: Take it. Finish it. I'm so tired. I just want to rest.

Lucas: You're tired?

Chloe: Mm-hmm.

Lucas: I'm not tired. I'm still running on adrenaline, even though we were up all night last night.

Chloe: Stop it. Shh.

Lucas: Oh, yeah. Sorry.

Kate: [Thinking] Except Victor is probably right. If I do tell Lucas the truth about Chloe, I'll lose him. But if I don't, he'll end up broken-hearted, miserable. He's already fallen off the wagon once.

Lucas: Hey.

Kate: Hey, sweetie.

Lucas: How you doing?

Kate: Good.

Lucas: I just wanted to thank you. Thank you for being so nice to Chloe. I really appreciate it. And I know I've said it a lot of times before, but it really means a lot to me.

Kate: Well, you know I only want what's best for you.

Lucas: Right. Yeah, I know that.

Kate: Honey, there's something that, um, I need to tell you.

Jake: So, how does your husband's position affect you, Detective Brady?

Hope: Well, the bottom line is we do our jobs. That's the priority. We don't, of course, always agree with each other, but we try not to take the work home.

Jake: Something tells me that's not always possible.

[Both chuckle]

Roman: Hey, hey. Whoa. Front page Salem Spectator -- the commissioner speaks.

Bo: There he is, Jake, my big brother, Commander Roman Brady. Roman, Jake Donahue -- ace journalist.

Jake: Will you tell that to my boss, okay?

Bo: Oh, yeah.

Jake: Commander Brady, would you mind giving me a few minutes of your time? Maybe I could get a few quotes.

Hope: My brother-in-law is eminently quotable.

Roman: Sure, Jake. No problem. Let's go over there and sit.

Hope: So?

Bo: What?

Hope: How did I do?

Bo: With Jake?

Hope: Yeah.

Bo: Great. You're a natural.

Hope: I don't know. I felt a little cliché -- the whole "we don't take our work home" thing.

Bo: Well, most of the time, it's true. What?

Hope: [Sighs] I hope he didn't suspect.

Bo: That, uh, the commissioner's going bonkers, having some problems?

Hope: Not only you. It's my problem, too. Oh, what am I thinking? Of course he didn't suspect anything. I'm a little paranoid about it. That's all.

Bo: I understand. You and I working together -- that's never been the issue.

Hope: I know. So, Mr. Brady, I must ask.

Bo: What?

Hope: This man and I -- your latest vision -- tell me, do you see us, uh, in the backseat of a car, in a bed, on a kitchen counter?

Bo: Hope, come on.

Hope: Or maybe it changes from vision to vision, huh?

Bo: Don't make jokes.

Hope: I'm sorry. I was just trying to make light. It's just so ridiculous. This whole thing is so crazy. We can't take it seriously. Don't you see? Because it can't happen. It never will.

Brady: So, even though our relationship had gone south, Chloe felt she was doing the right thing sticking in there and trying to salvage our relationship.

Daniel: But you don't think it was -- the right thing?

Brady: No. The marriage was over. I was an addict. She had this incredible feeling of responsibility. She had so much guilt. She thought that it was her fault that I started using. You know, the thing was, we were never right from the beginning. There was always something missing. And if I hadn't been so messed up in my head, I would have been able to make her see that. I think sometimes the right thing is actually the wrong thing in disguise. [Chuckles] Does that make sense to you at all?

Daniel: Yeah. Yeah, total sense.

Lucas: If you have something to say, just say it.

Kate: Okay. Um... I'm going to be fine with whatever you and Chloe decide to do. I know that I was upset about the elopement, but who am I to stand in your way, you know? And as you are constantly telling me, I am always interfering in my children's lives.

Lucas: Come on, all right?

Kate: No, hey. It's true, okay? Please, I've earned that reputation. But, um, you are an adult, and you're going to live your life. So if you decide to live it with Chloe, then I'm going to be more than happy. What?

Lucas: I know you, and something is off. Something is going on here.

Kate: No.

Lucas: You want me to be happy. Is that what you said? That didn't roll off your tongue too easily.

Kate: [Sighs] All right. Something's bothering me.

Lucas: Well, don't you think it's time you tell me what it is?

Kate: You have to promise that you won't be angry with me.

Lucas: Mom, just say it, all right?

Kate: As much as I love, love, love Chloe for saving my life, I can't shake the feeling that someday she's gonna break your heart. There. I've said it.

Daniel: Well, this woman that I was involved with, she was also driven by guilt, felt responsible for someone else's well-being, mental stability, you know.

Brady: You mean the guy she ended up with, right?

Daniel: Yeah. Yeah. But, you know, I wasn't trying to encourage her to stay with him. I was trying to convince her that we -- ugh. I mean, we had a shot. She and I, we had a shot at love -- I mean, real love.

Brady: Then no dice, right?

Daniel: Got to let it go. I had to let it go. Why is it, though, that the harder we fight for what we want, what we really want, it just -- I don't know. It doesn't work out, right? Or does it?

Brady: I don't know. I think it has something to do with balance, actually.

Daniel: Balance.

Brady: Mm-hmm.

Daniel: Right.

Brady: In relationships and in business, too.

Daniel: Yeah?

Brady: Mm-hmm.

Brady: What, you got a problem at Titan?

Brady: Yeah, I do. It seems lately that, uh, if there's any bad decisions to be made, Philip makes them. And then he refuses to acknowledge that he has. And then if you confront him about it, he goes ballistic.

Daniel: Well, that doesn't sound like Philip.

Brady: No, he's -- he's changed. He's way off his game right now.

Philip: I feel like you and I have a good rapport, Tony, a lot in common. You remember that talk we had right before your father got out of that coma? You said you wanted to separate yourself from Stefano's legacy.

Tony: That's exactly what I'm doing.

Philip: By taking something that doesn't belong to you. That sounds very Stefano-like to me.

Tony: Oh, for pity's sake. The deal is done. The project is mine. And now I can operate independently.

Philip: I'm offering you the same deal.

Tony: [Chuckles] Really?

Philip: I mean it. And we're not talking chump change. We're talking bailout money, Fortune 500.

Tony: Are you saying that if I accept your offer and give you the formula... you will come out of it in the same way I would? Is that what your objective is here?

Tony: You know what I'm talking about. You want to get out of your father's shadow. You want to start anew.

Philip: Like I said, we have a lot in common.

Tony: Yeah. Who'd have thunk it?

Philip: So... do we have a deal?

Lucas: That's great. That's just great, Mom. Thanks for cheering me the hell up.

Kate: Lucas, please.

Lucas: You know what? Your timing is unbelievable. It's brilliant. It's just perfect. You know what you should do? You should do greeting cards for people who get married. "Congratulations on your wedding. Sorry it's not gonna last."

Kate: You know, that is not what I said.

Lucas: You said I was gonna get my heart broken.

Kate: No, I said I was afraid that that was what was going to happen. You know, you asked me what was bothering me.

Lucas: Chloe is not gonna break my heart. Do you hear me? She is perfectly loyal to me and Allie.

Kate: I sincerely hope so.

Lucas: You hope so?

Kate: Mm. What do you want from me? I mean, really. If history tells us anything...

Lucas: What? What? Go ahead. Finish that sentence.

Kate: Lucas, your track record with women has been a little spotty.

Lucas: Oh, right. Here we go. Here we go.

Kate: You know, what do you expect me to do, forget everything that's happened in the past?

Lucas: Are you talking about Sami? I'm gonna tell you this right now. Chloe is not Sami, all right? She doesn't lie. She doesn't cheat. She doesn't manipulate. She's a compassionate, caring woman, and I made the right decision in marrying her.

Kate: Oh, God, Lucas. I love you. That's why I worry. All right?

Lucas: I know. I know that. But you shouldn't worry, all right? It can't be good for your health, can it? Don't worry about -- all right, just stay positive for me. Have a positive outlook on this.

Kate: Okay. You're right.

Lucas: And I am a man. You were right about that. I am grown up. And I made the right decision about marrying Chloe. You just got to trust in that. Please.

Chloe: And trust me.

Brady: You know, I don't meant to be talking out of school here, but Philip's a decent guy. You know, he's... [Sighs] But truth be told, my grandfather has had an issue with the way Philip's been running the company for months now. That's why he plugged me in as vice-C.E.O.

Daniel: No, I got that impression.

Brady: And it's a real tricky situation.

Daniel: Oh, I can imagine. Just think about what it's like for Victor, though.

Brady: Yeah. But...

Daniel: What?

Brady: Victor has pulled me aside several times in private and told me that he thinks I should be running the company.

Daniel: Well, what do you think?

Brady: I think I'm not about to let my own ego-driven interests rise above -- damn it, I'm feeling guilty about having this conversation, man.

Daniel: All right. All right. Last thing I'll say. I know Victor. And he is as savvy as they come.

Brady: [Scoffs]

Daniel: He knows what's going on, and he will do what's right by Titan.

Philip: Well? What do you think?

Tony: I'm impressed.

Philip: Is that a yes?

Tony: [Breathes deeply] I doubt your papa would go for this.

Philip: You let me worry about that. Tony, don't blow this. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Tony: Thanks all the same.

Philip: What? Come on, man.

Tony: No, you come on, Philip. What, did you think I was gonna jump on that? What, do you think I'm an idiot, a fool? It's a joke. You don't think I read the business section?

Philip: The business --

Tony: Yes, the newspaper, dear boy. You and your father haven't been on the same page for months. He's lost faith in you. That's why he hired Brady Black to come over to Titan, who will probably take over sooner or later.

Philip: You don't know what you're talking about.

Tony: Bottom line -- I will not be screwed over.

Philip: Oh, you mean like I was.

Tony: You know, it happens to the best of us, so stiff upper lip, boy. Learn from it. Grow from it.

Philip: What, you're going to mentor me now, show me the ropes, give me little nuggets of wisdom? "Learn from your mistakes." [Chuckles] That's brilliant. Thank you, Tony. Thank you.

Tony: I should be on my way.

Philip: I want my plans back, damn it.

Tony: Why don't you talk to Nick Fallon? Oh, I'm sorry. You can't, can you? What, is he otherwise engaged, incommunicado? From what I've heard...

Philip: Tony, be smart about this.

Tony: I'm really sorry we didn't come to some kind of understanding. I really am. Take care.

Philip: You're not going anywhere, not until we have an agreement.

Tony: [Chuckles]

Kate: I want to trust you, Chloe.

Lucas: Then do, mom. Chloe would never hurt me.

Kate: Is that true, Chloe?

Chloe: Of course.

Kate: When you said your wedding vows to my son, did you mean them?

Chloe: Yes, I did. Every word.

Kate: Very well. I believe you.

Chloe: I hope so.

Lucas: Yeah. Just don't worry about it, okay? Appreciate what you have. Try to enjoy yourself.

Kate: All right. But one day, you're going to be just as protective of your grown children. You'll see.

Lucas: I don't know if I'm gonna fret over every little detail of their lives and drive them insane.

Kate: Oh, you will. Believe me. And then you're going to realize that your mother wasn't completely crazy.

Lucas: I know you're not completely crazy. You're not crazy at all. I know how lucky I am to have you as a mother.

Kate: Well, I'm lucky to have you as a son. And I'm gonna try very hard to cut the umbilical cord. I swear I am.

Lucas: That's for your own sake, right? Right?

Kate: Right.

Lucas: All right. I'll be right back. Save my seat.

Chloe: I will. Hurry back.

Kate: Oh, Chloe, look. I ordered some bloody marys, just the way you like them -- hot and spicy.

Chloe: Bloody mary? [Gasps] Oh, my God! Why the hell would you do that?!

Lucas: Where's Chloe?

Kate: Oh, I think she went away to, uh, get dry.

Lucas: Get dry? How'd she get wet?

Kate: [Chuckles] Yes, yes, yes. That would be good for a laugh. But now it's time to get serious.

Hope: So, tell me.

Bo: Hope, there's nothing to tell.

Hope: You admitted that you had another vision. So, who was it? Oh, was it -- wait, no. Was it Sami's bodyguard, Rafe? Daniel? Oh, maybe it was Tom Cruise, huh?

Bo: Will you stop?

Hope: No, not until you tell me who it was.

Bo: I don't know.

Hope: Brady, please, tell me what you do know.

Bo: [Sighs deeply] Well, this last vision -- it was -- it was more intense. And it seemed...

Hope: What? Go on.

Bo: It seemed like you really wanted to be with this guy.

Hope: You have to let this go.

Bo: You don't seem to get it. I don't have any control over these visions. They just happen to me.

Hope: But you can choose to ignore them.

Bo: And if I had chosen to ignore the vision about Theo falling or Kayla being shot, what then?

Hope: This can't go on. You know it, and I know it.

Bo: Well, you have the answer to this, tell me. Just tell me what I got to do, and I will.

Hope: I want you to believe in us. I want you to trust in our love. Believe in it. Trust in me, that you're everything. That's what I want... that you will know that there will never be anyone but you.

Tony: I really must be on my way.

Philip: What are you doing this for? What is this, out of spite, for the sport, vengeance, what?

Tony: Philip... I know what it is you're going through with your family, and I sympathize with you. I really do. But I have to warn you. It doesn't get easier.

Philip: Is this the part where you start reciting eastern proverbs?

Tony: As long as your father is alive, he'll keep pressing you, manipulate you, demean you. And then he'll play you against the next heir.

Bo: Fancy face, I do believe in our love, and I do trust you.

Hope: Then what?

Bo: You're right. I just have to figure a way to just let this go.

Hope: You're my life. You're everything to me. Nothing will change.

Bo: Call the sitter.

Hope: Why?

Bo: Impromptu date night -- you, me, a movie, dinner, maybe some dancing and stuff.

Hope: You?

Bo: Yeah. Options are limitless.

Hope: Yes, they are, as long as we're together.

Bo: Come on.

Jake: Looks like working together isn't a problem for those two, huh?

Roman: Are you kidding me? My brother and Hope -- nothing can come between them. They are in it for the long haul.

Kate: Stewardess?

Flight Attendant: Yes, can I help you?

Kate: You have wireless on the plane, correct?

Flight Attendant: We certainly do.

Kate: Thank you.

Flight Attendant: Can I help you with anything else?

Kate: No, that will be it. Well, now it is time to get serious. If I'm going to destroy that bitch... I need to be stealthy, under the radar. So, Google, light the way.

Daniel: Anyway, I should be heading out. You know, it was good talking to you, Brady.

Brady: You too, man.

Daniel: Yeah. So, um... well, let me know how things go with Philip. I hope it all works out.

Brady: I will. And you know what? I know it sounds kind of trite, but, you know, things change, especially when it comes to matters of the heart. Maybe this woman will change her mind.

Daniel: [Scoffs] I appreciate your concern.

Brady: Don't give up hope.

Daniel: All right. Take care, man.

Brady: See ya.

Daniel: All right.

Philip: You don't know my father. You don't know me.

Tony: Don't ignore the truth, not for the sake of your pride.

Philip: Oh, good. Now it's fortune-cookie time.

Tony: You can scoff all you like, but I'm a living example. Toiling for so long in my father's shadow -- it changes you, and not for the better, sadly. That's why I'm anxious to get out of here, and you will be, as well.

Philip: I did not come here for life lessons from a man who spent the better part of two decades on a deserted island.

Tony: Is that how you get your prospective clients to sign on the dotted line, by being this ill-mannered lout?

Philip: You call me names? You're a thief, DiMera.

Tony: I'm trying to open your eyes, you silly ass!

Philip: [Scoffs] Open my eyes. What, that little bit about toiling in my father's shadow? That was supposed to have some sort of impact? That was supposed to be a revelation?

Tony: Why don't you have a good look in the mirror?

Philip: Unbelievable.

Tony: And you'll see what's left of me staring right back at you.

Philip: Are you done, or do you have endless reserves of this crap?

Tony: [Chuckles] In many ways, I really envy you.

Philip: I'm flattered.

Tony: Well, 'cause you still have your youth, your ambition, your drive. You can make a clean break. But you're not going to do it on my project.

Kate: Hmm. What's this? That could be good. Maybe a little too obvious, though. I have to stay discreet. I have to stay under the radar. Look at this one. Keep the hands clean. Wait a minute. Well, that could be good. That could work. [Laughs] Yes. That could definitely work.

Hope: I'll be right back. I'm gonna go call the sitter.

Bo: Okay.

Roman: Well, all right. Looks like you and Hope have worked things out.

Bo: Yeah, yeah. We're back on track.

Roman: Glad to hear it. I'm gonna take off. Call me if you need me.

Bo: All right, man.

Roman: All right.

Bo: No. It can't be it. It's impossible.

Brady: Hey, Nicole, it's me. Listen, I'm at the pier, and I'll be waiting for you.

Philip: Brady.

Brady: Philip. I was just about to call you again.

Philip: What's up?

Brady: I left a bunch of messages. You didn't get any of them?

Philip: My phone was off. It helps me think straight.

Brady: Right. Well, I, uh, got a message from your father.

Philip: What about?

Brady: He wants to see you right away.

Philip: In regards to?

Brady: He didn't say.

Philip: Well, okay. Thank you for letting me know.

Brady: Philip, I'm assuming you took my advice and you didn't go after Tony.

Philip: That's right, Brady. I always take your sage advice. You're the man.

Brady: Look, I'm just worried about you.

Philip: Me? I'm great. What about you? Smooth sailing? Nothing phases Brady?

Brady: [Scoffs] You take it easy. I'll see you later.

Philip: You're not going down without a fight, Tony DiMera. I'm not going down at all.

Tony: [Breathing heavily] [Chuckles] Ah. What do you know, father? I've got a little secret that can destroy E.J.'s world. And I have a plan that will bring you and the Kiriakis clan to their knees. [Sighs] Oh, for the first time in a long time... I'm proud of myself. And wonder of wonders, it has nothing to do with you, nothing to make you happy. A toast... to the slaying of idols... to letting go of the past... and to a world... I look forward to with a great future.

Philip: I've spent almost my whole life preparing to take over the family business. It's in my blood.

Victor: Not anymore.

Tony: Oh, the sweet smell of victory.

Nicole: Everything that I have wanted is within reach, and I will not let that bastard take it away from me.

Roman: Everything okay?

Hope: I think Bo needs help.
