[Knock on door]
Stephanie: You wanted to see me?
Philip: Right, come in.
Stephanie: Is something wrong?
Philip: Not anymore.
Brady: Hey, where's the fire? Where are you going? What is it? What's wrong? Oh. I got you.
Brady: I had a little run with daniel today. We were talking.
Brady: Yeah, in generalities. So, how about you? Do you need someone to talk to?
E.J.: I'll get it, mary. I'm sure I know who it is. I already gave at the office.
Melanie: Not enough.
E.J.: You're wasting my time.
Melanie: Give me my money and I'll be out of your hair.
E.J.: You know, you really should have called before you came up here.
Melanie: E.J., You cannot blow me off like this.
E.J.: Melanie, you're not getting another dime out of me.
Nicole: Give me my baby now.
Nicole: Give me my baby.
Sami: Okay. Okay, nicole. She fell asleep in my arms. Just...here you go. She's beautiful.
Nicole: What in the hell did you think you were doing?
Sami: I saw michelle holding her. I wanted to say hi to little sydney. She fell asleep in my arms. It's no big deal. I know what I'm doing.
Nicole: I know a lot about you. Mostly you're not to be trusted.
Sami: Nicole, I would never hurt a baby.
Nicole: No, you would just...
Sami: I would just what?
Nicole: Nothing. Come on, sweetheart. Mommy's gonna get you home to your daddy. My girl, so sleepy.
Sami: You know what? No.
Nicole: Excuse me?
Sami: I don't think you should leave. I think it's time you and I had a little talk.
Nicole: You've got to be kidding me. Get out of my way.
Sami: No. I mean, aren't you interested in why E.J. Spent so much time with me last night? I mean, I'm sure you got a really good explanation as to -- what time did he come home again? How late was he?
Nicole: You don't scare me.
Sami: I'm not trying to. I just want to explain to you how important it is that the two of us talk.
Stefano: Oh, katarina. Ha ha. What a lovely coincidence.
Stefano: Allow me to treat you to lunch.
Kate: Oh, sorry. I already have a date.
Kate: Or, should I say, an opening salvo.
Stefano: Well... do you mind if, uh, I sit with you till he shows up?
Kate: She. Well, I don't know. Are you going to keep an eye on your perspective daughter-in-law?
Stefano: Well, a little tête-à-tête with samantha brady. You don't see that very often.
Kate: [Chuckles] You know, you really shouldn't be spying. You ought to just bug the baby carriage.
Stefano: [Laughing] You know, I really like the way you think, katarina. Oh, my, my, my. What in the world do you think is going on over there?
Sami: While E.J. Was at my place last night, we, uh -- we just talked.
Nicole: I know that. What I don't know is why you made it out to be something else.
Sami: To get you to stay.
Sami: E.J. and I talked about the situation we are all in, but I realize now...that there are two people who should be talking about it and that's you and me.
Stefano: So -- thank you -- your, uh, luncheon companion, you don't seem to be looking very much forward to seeing her.
Kate: It's chloe.
Stefano: Ah, chloe -- of the lifesaving marrow. Uh-huh.
Stefano: And your perspective daughter-in-law?
Kate: The bug that needs to be squashed.
Stefano: Whoa. Well, that's very interesting to hear that you're not as beholden to her anymore, that, well, you know, it really didn't seem very kate-like.
Kate: You know, the way i see it, what happened was God had her spare my life so I can spare my son'S.
Stefano: Ah. Positive proof that there is a superior being. Hmm-hmm. Do you care to divulge to me what she has done that incurred your wrath?
Kate: No. But I will tell you one thing -- she's going to regret it for the rest of her life.
Melanie: You can't do this.
E.J.: Well, I can do this, and I did do this.
Melanie: We have a contract.
E.J.: Let me give you a little bit of advice for your future wheeling and dealing. It is always a good idea to spend as much time, if not more time, reading the contract than it is actually counting the cash advance.
Melanie: You can't do this.
E.J.: Well, according to the contract, I can, and you signed the contract three times.
Melanie: E.J., I sold you the formula.
E.J.: According to the deal that we had, everything becomes null and void if I don't follow through with the project. Now, I don't know if I mentioned it to you, but I'm not following through with the project.
Melanie: You are a son of a bitch.
E.J.: Have you kept a copy of that contract? I suggest you go and look for it if you can't find it. Because there's a section in there that deals with the returning of the cash advance.
Melanie: I -- that's gone.
E.J.: Well, then, you're in a bit of a fix, aren't you?
Melanie: Are you enjoying this? Is this fun for you?
E.J.: Miss layton, I told you that you were playing in the big leagues. I can assure you that, um, pouting is not a particularly effective negotiating technique.
Melanie: E.J., This is not negotiating, okay? This is you B.S.Ing me.
E.J.: Oh, I'm not talking about you and I. Oh, no, no, no. You and I, we're dead in the water. I'm talking about you, when you go back to philip kiriakis. Do you think he's gonna mind very much that you stabbed him in the back?
Melanie: Why are you doing this to me?
E.J.: I'm doing this because you are one of those unique individuals who rather learns through experience. And when this whole thing blows up in your face, you're gonna start to grow up a little bit and realize that you're not quite as smart as you think you are.
Melanie: God! Oh, no, no, no, no, E.J., My friend. This is now how this is gonna end.
E.J.: [Sighs] Kids today.
Stefano: I think I better be going.
Kate: Oh, frustrated that you can't hear the conversation?
Stefano: I might not be able to hear, but I certainly am going to find out what they are talking about. Ciao.
Sami: Her big brother is my son. You and E.J. and I -- we are all connected whether we like it or not. And we have to learn to respect each other and respect our privacy.
Nicole: Was it respect for my privacy that had you holding my baby?
Sami: Nicole, get over it. I wanted to hold your beautiful little girl for a second. It's not that big a deal. I mean, is that really all she means to you? She's just another tool in the "I hate sami" game?
Nicole: No, that is not true.
Sami: Good. Because I wasn't doing it to get at you. Look, I have my own problems. And one of them affects you.
Sami: I went to see my dad this morning, and I was going to talk to him about the guy who was protecting me while I was in the witness-protection program, and E.J. Was already there. He was already butting into my life, trying to control who i see and what I do.
Nicole: I don't believe it.
Sami: I think you do. Otherwise, you wouldn't be sitting here talking to me right now. Nicole, I don't want E.J. In my life any more than you do.
Chloe: I'm afraid I don't know what you're talking about.
Brady: Neither do I most of the time.
Daniel: Well, we should, uh -- we should do this again sometime when I'm not so...
Brady: You know, I hope I'm not breaking a confidence here, but I got to tell you, that guy had one hell of a hangover this morning, chloe.
Chloe: Did he?
Brady: Yeah, yeah, he did. Something's really eating at him. And I got to tell you, something seems to be eating at you, too. Just not yourself right now. You're a little jumpy, a little pale.
Chloe: You know what? Real fun bumping into you, brady.
Brady: I think I know what it is, though. It's the wedding plans, right? I mean, they got you crazy, right?
Brady: Not sure if you picked the right dress. You're probably not sure if you picked the right...guy.
Chloe: Why are you doing this to me?
Brady: Because I want you to be happy, long-term happy.
Chloe: Well, you have a real funny way of showing it.
Brady: You know what the great thing is about having an ex-husband who pretty much screwed up his life publicly? You can tell him anything and he can't judge you. He won't judge you. All I'll do is listen to you.
Chloe: That sounds really nice.
Brady: All right, then, let's -- let's go to lunch and talk about it, then. Come on.
Chloe: I can'T. I'm supposed to be meeting someone and I'm late already. I'm sorry.
Brady: Okay. Chloe. It's a standing invitation. You can call me anytime, okay?
Philip: What we had, it's still there.
Stephanie: You're right. You're absolutely right.
Philip: We can have it all back.
Stephanie: You're right again. How could I have been so stupid? Let me just step out and get a quick lobotomy and then we'll be good to go.
Stephanie: That's what I'll have to do, right, to forget everything you've done? Be too stupid to see what you're doing now? That way, when you screw up again, you can just kiss me and I'll be that pliable little nothing you want.
Philip: That's not what i want.
Stephanie: Then how else do you explain a girl being summoned into her boss' office to get kissed and then goes, "i like kissing him. Nothing else matters"?
Philip: I think it's more than that. We have a connection.
Stephanie: Yes, you're handsome. Yes, you're a great kisser, but I would be a total idiot to ever trust you again.
Philip: So there's no more second chances? I make one mistake.
Stephanie: "A mistake"?
Philip: A huge mistake. Yes, you saw the absolute worst part of me. But what about the part of me that wants to change?
Stephanie: I didn't see that just now. What I saw was a guy who thinks he can get a woman to do whatever he wants by turning up the heat. I don't want to be that girl, philip.
Philip: Well, maybe that's why I can't get you out of my head. You don't think about me, what you want. But it's you being you that wipes me out. Stephanie, just pl-- tell me. Look, steer me in the right direction.
Melanie: I don't care if he's conferencing with donald trump, okay? You are gonna conference with me right now.
Chloe: Hey, kate. I'm so sorry I'm late.
Kate: Oh, stop. I'm just so glad that you made time for me. I know you must have so many other important things to do now that the wedding's back on.
Chloe: Uh, no. I'm actually really glad that we're doing this. I wanted to talk to you.
Kate: Really? Why?
Chloe: Well, I was worried that you're angry at me.
Kate: Angry at you? What about?
Chloe: Lucas drinking again.
Kate: Chloe, come on. I told you --
Chloe: I know that you said you weren't, but I was so mad at myself about it that I figured you must be, too.
Kate: Darling, if I felt that way, I would tell you. I think that you and I have to be honest with each other about absolutely everything. Don't you agree?
Kate: I mean, if I've learned anything over the years, it's that honesty is the best way. I mean, what's covered up, denied festers, and the fallout can be just devastating.
Chloe: Yeah, well, it doesn't ever seem to work out well in operas.
Kate: Oh, good lord. Listen to me. I'm absolutely ruining a lovely lunch, and here we have a beautiful young bride-to-be.
Chloe: Oh, speaking of that, I have something to show you. All right. Take a look at this.
Kate: What is it?
Chloe: It's my wedding dress.
Nicole: So, E.J. Went to talk to roman about the guy who was guarding you.
Sami: I don't know. I guess because E.J. Thought he was protecting me. I mean, he and rafe didn't exactly hit it off.
Nicole: So E.J. Didn't come home to his daughter because he was protecting you from your ex-bodyguard.
Nicole: [Laughs] No, no, no. This had to be about johnny. Obviously, he didn't want this guy being around him.
Sami: Oh, 'cause that's not hypocritical. When my son is staying at chez dimera, I don't have a right to say who E.J. Gets to shack up with.
Nicole: Always a pleasure.
Sami: All right, nicole, fine. All right, it slipped out. Old habits and whatnot. I meant what I said. We have to find a way to get along.
Nicole: Meaning you want something from me. So spill. What is it?
Sami: Yes, nicole. I do want something from you, but, luckily, it's something you want, too.
Nicole: Yeah, right.
Sami: We both have a child with E.J., But I've been in this position longer than you have. I know more.
Nicole: There are significant differences, sami. He loves me. There's no question of paternity.
Sami: Okay, fine. But we do both have a child with E.J., Okay? And maybe he was doing it to protect johnny this morning, but, you know, ultimately, it doesn't matter why he was doing it. E.J. Is a dimera, and he must think he still owns me somehow. And maybe he's more involved than stefano. I mean, if it were stefano, he'd probably tell E.J. To start a harem and then find more women to have sons with.
Nicole: What? That is not true.
Sami: E.J. and I share a son, and I wouldn't trade johnny for anything in the world. But obviously you think things are gonna work out with your baby. You think it's gonna be okay, and who knows? You might be right. Maybe it will. But I wouldn't do that again in a million years.
Nicole: You're scared, aren't you? Really scared.
Melanie: Don't bad things happen to guys who hit on their interns in presidential offices?
Philip: How the hell did you get in here?
Melanie: That's not what you need to be focusing on. You need to listen to what i have to tell you.
Philip: I will call security and have you thrown out, again.
Melanie: So you guys patched things up?
Stephanie: Do you want me to go, philip?
Philip: No, no, she's leaving now.
Melanie: Listen, philip, you need to listen to me. I just found out that E.J. Is not going forward with the project. Now, this can be very good news for Titan and, of course, also for myself.
Philip: Good news for you that your corporate espionage blew up in your face?
Melanie: I'm really hoping that you will focus on the opportunity we now have. With E.J. Out of the picture, we can forge ahead without any competition.
Philip: You know, I agree with that.
Melanie: You do?
Philip: Except with the pronoun.
I can forge ahead, not we.
Melanie: Nick gave me the project. If that project makes money, that money is mine.
Philip: Not if Titan decides to sue you for breach of contract or intellectual property theft. I have seven lawyers on this very floor. How many do you have?
Melanie: You know what nick wanted. He wanted me to have his profits.
Philip: Melanie, it's over, done with. You lost. You have one last decision to make. Do you want to walk, or do you want to be thrown out of the office?
Sami: Nicole, I'm not scared. I just want my life back. And I don't want E.J. Involved in my life anymore, and I think you don't want that, either.
Nicole: So you're saying all I have to do is tell him to back off, you're out of bounds, and he'll buy it.
Sami: No, I told him that already this morning, and you're right. I don't think it had any effect on him.
Nicole: And you think coming from me it will.
Sami: Well, yeah. Nicole, just explain to him that he has to stop obsessing about me or johnny, if that's how you want to look at it. Otherwise, he could lose what he wants most.
Nicole: You want me to use my daughter as leverage to get you what you want.
Sami: You want it, too, nicole. Look, I'm trying to be nice here, okay? I'm trying to change how you and I do business. But I think it would be smart for you to remember that I do have some power in this situation.
Nicole: [Chuckles] Wow. If that's a threat, I'm not worried about you and E.J.
Sami: You would be if you knew.
Nicole: What? If I knew what, sami?
Chloe: You don't like it.
Kate: No, it's -- it's fine. I just -- well, I thought you were gonna wait a little while before you started planning the wedding.
Chloe: Uh, yeah, I was, but nicole and I went to pick out her dress. I'm her maid of honor, and, well, I guess we just got a little carried away.
Kate: You get carried away a lot, don't you? Must be the artist streak. You know, passionate, impetuous, reckless. Are you sure you're not gonna have problems settling down to a dull, married life?
Kate: That is really so sweet. I mean, it's so unusual nowadays to find a young woman who would voluntarily choose monogamy.
Melanie: You did this, didn't you? You got E.J. To back out of the deal?
Philip: Of course I did. It's in my best interest to protect this company's assets, and I'm not about to be bested by smurfette.
Melanie: This isn't business anymore, philip. This is personal. You're doing it to get back at me.
Philip: Of course, again. Melanie, you're like a 2-year-old who pulls on a dog's ears and then gets indignant when the dog bites. And the longer you stay here being, you know, melanie-esque, the more likely I am to bring legal action, so it's in your best interest to get the hell out of here.
Melanie: I'm going. I'm going. You know, you're very lucky, stephanie. You got yourself a real prince charming.
Philip: Unbelievable. Absolutely unbelievable.
Stephanie: Yeah, kind of like you.
E.J.: Money will be wired to you by the end of the day. Excellent. Father, that japanese associate of ours has agreed to sell off his shares of the petroleum company.
Stefano: And the shares cost?
E.J.: 18 cents below what you wanted to buy them for.
Stefano: Good work. Yes, that's a sizable savings.
E.J.: Although, if I'm being completely honest, I still think that we should have waited. The way the market is today...
Stefano: Are you questioning my expertise?
E.J.: I'm not questioning your expertise, but I do oversee day-to-day operations, and i keep a fairly close eye on what's happening in the markets.
Stefano: Well, listen, i think that we can talk about the international markets later. Right now, I think what we should focus on is the domestic.
E.J.: Meaning what?
Stefano: Meaning I just saw your fiancée having a cozy little luncheon with samantha brady. Now, what do you think that is all about?
Sami: I just want to be left alone, okay? So I think you can make it clear to E.J. How much he's risking by continuing to deal with me.
Nicole: And if I don't?
Sami: All right. This is definitely something i don't want you to know, but fine. You know the guy from the witness-protection program, the one who was guarding me?
Sami: E.J. Saw us kiss. And he went ballistic. Why do you think that is?
Nicole: Obviously he doesn't want johnny's mother hanging around hired muscle.
Sami: Or E.J. Doesn't want to see me kissing anyone else. Because none of us may want to admit it, but what E.J. and i had...it's still there.
Announcer: Out of all the gloom and doom comes the great buys of moneywise. They're "global national" stories that show you how to get the most out of your money whether you're buying for the table or for the whole house. To see how far it'll go, see "global national."
Stephanie: I should get back to work.
Philip: But we were talking. I thought we were getting somewhere.
Stephanie: Maybe we were, but then she showed up.
Philip: You can't possibly think I have feelings for her. You saw how I dealt with her.
Stephanie: Yeah, I did, and i didn't like it.
Philip: Now you're sticking up for melanie.
Stephanie: No, our problem -- and it's huge -- is that you have your dad and I have mine.
Philip: I don't get it.
Stephanie: Okay, my dad's tough, really tough -- definitely not cuddly -- but I've never seen him kick someone when they were down.
Philip: And you think that's what I did?
Stephanie: I know you're not gonna sue melanie. You just wanted to scare her.
Philip: But she --
Stephanie: Brought it on herself? Sure, but it's in your kiriakis blood to go in for the kill, just like your father does.
Philip: It's business.
Stephanie: Yeah, just like making out with melanie on maggie's kitchen table was business? I don't like the things you call "business." Look, you want to try and change? Go ahead, but you'd be giving up your life's mission.
Philip: What, you think this is my mission?
Stephanie: No, I think it's showing the world that you're as strong as your father.
Melanie: So, you think my life is funny?
Max: It's really bad, isn't it?
Melanie: Everybody hates me.
Max: "Everybody" as in who?
Melanie: Philip. He's just as mean as ever.
Max: And for no reason. Who else?
Melanie: E.J. He doesn't want to go through with the project and there's nothing I can do about it. So then I told philip, and philip threw me out of his office and threatened to sue me.
Max: He won't do that, okay? He was just trying to scare you.
Melanie: How do you know?
Max: Because you don't have a dime. And philip's not gonna waste any money on lawyers for nothing.
Melanie: Oh, my gosh. I'm not even worth suing.
Max: Okay, so it was a bad day, very bad day. Maybe a wake-up call?
Melanie: Max, I've had E.J. and philip telling me off and telling me how stupid I am. I really -- I don't need to hear it from you, too, okay?
Max: Okay. Okay.
Stefano: So...you're not even curious?
E.J.: Hmm? What?
Stefano: The mothers of your children, who are infamous for their hatred for each other, are having a tête-à-tête behind your back and it means nothing to you?
E.J.: Father, I'm working on a $17-million-deal and you want me to get agitated because samantha and nicole are having lunch?
Stefano: Right, mm-hmm. They're probably just sitting there swapping recipes, you know, or comparing prenups.
E.J.: I don't know. Maybe nicole is over samantha's return. Maybe they both realize that they have to find some kind of working resolution to the situation for the sake of their respective children.
Stefano: Right. They are being mature and selfless.
[Laughs] Aye-ye-ye-ye-ye. So you trust the both of them.
E.J.: I don't know. Do I have a choice?
Stefano: Good question.
But the blonde, she went to a convent on the south side. The convent of the holy cross.
E.J.: Father. Is there something that you're not telling me?
Nicole: You really do take the cake, don't you, sami? Is this your idea of fun? What we have is still here? In your dreams, bitch.
Sami: I don't want E.J. I want a cease-fire. I want us to be able to work together on this, but I want you to know that I am a formidable opponent whether you like it or not.
Nicole: Vice versa, baby cakes. Vice versa.
Chloe: You don't like the dress, do you?
Kate: Now, I didn't say that. Look who's here. Daniel, come here. Could you join us for a minute, please? Chloe just picked out her wedding dress, and we need your opinion. Closed captioning is brought to you in part by biobest maximmunite. The only probiotic drink with the immunofit blend of 10 billion active cultures.
Max: I think all your problems are self-inflicted.
Max: Yeah. Philip and E.J. Were handed all this wealth and power. That didn't happen to us.
Melanie: Really? I hadn't noticed.
Max: If you want that, it's gonna be a long road to get there. And maybe what they have isn't as good as what it seems from the outside, huh?
Melanie: You really kind of think things through, don't you? That's why you and I don't really have that much in common, huh? I think, Max, that I want to be alone for a while.
Max: Mel. Mel. I'm sorry.
Brady: How you doing?
Melanie: Um, why don't you ask philip, okay?
Philip: Do you really want me to apologize for trying to emulate my father? I'm proud of him. I'm proud of his accomplishments.
Stephanie: I'm not asking you to apologize any more than I'm about to apologize for being how I am. I'm just saying who we are and where we come from might make us incompatible.
Philip: A euphemism for you don't like me or my family.
Stephanie: I think incompatible is exactly the right word. Philip, I don't judge you. I don't dislike you. I just can't live the way you do. And I can't stand to watch you live the way you do.
Philip: Stephanie, how about we talk about our personal relationship over dinner?
Stephanie: Is that code for "we should get back to work" all of a sudden?
Philip: I didn't ask you just to come up here to --
Stephanie: Hit on me or something?
Philip: Nicely put. Anyway, there's an important file I'm having trouble getting into and I need someone I can trust. Our main tech guy is sick, so...
Stephanie: You need me?
Philip: Yeah, you. I doubt you'll have any luck, but it's worth a try. Here's the information. So, dinner. How about we try someplace new, huh? There's an inn right up the road.
Stephanie: Philip, I can't fend you off and work at the same time. Huh?
Stephanie: Something's not right.
Stefano: Exactly what we expected.
E.J.: Exactly when we expected it.
Stefano: You reject melanie, and she trots right back to Titan.
E.J.: I wonder if she has any idea how utterly predictable she is.
Stefano: I wonder if victor and philip have any idea that they are about to be blow out of the water.
Nicole: Well, it was lovely bumping into you like this. We should do it again sometime. How about never? Is never good for you?
Sami: Just think about what i said.
Nicole: You too, sami.
Kate: So, what we were thinking -- well, actually, the truth is, what i was thinking is that chloe could use a man's opinion.
Nicole: Wow, and I thought i was having a bad day.
Kate: Because her family isn't in town, so I don't know. Maybe you could act as father of the bride. What do you think? Maybe a fa uvorite uncle. Anyway, you could be a man that she could really trust.
Daniel: You know what? It looks fine to me. Yeah. So, you, uh, already set a date?
Chloe: Uh, no, not yet. I just bought the dress.
Daniel: Well, I'm sure you'll look great in it. Um, excuse me. Bar's calling my name.
Kate: Wow. Daniel is certainly a man who knows how to hide his true feelings.
Kate: Come on, chloe. Do you really think I don't know what's going on?
Chloe: What do you mean? Nothing's going on.
Kate: Do you really expect me to believe that? I saw the way you were looking at him.
Chloe: Kate, I-I don't know what you mean.
Kate: Come on. We both know... that he didn't like that dress.
Chloe: O-oh. Oh, he didn't?
Kate: [Chuckles] No. Didn't you see how uncomfortable he was? I mean, he couldn't wait to get away from us. Actually, I think that's something the two of you have in common, that bedrock honesty that makes you so uncomfortable when you're lying. Well, I mean, or when you're covering something up, I should say.
Chloe: Yeah, I-I guess so.
Kate: It must have been very difficult for you, that period leading up to your breakup with lucas.
Chloe: I just thought that...
Kate: It's kind of uncomfortable for you to talk about? Oh, sweetie, you are going to have to be patient with me. I'm afraid I have a tendency to cross boundaries. You can ask chelsea or philip. Once you're part of the family, I think every part of your life is going to be fair game. You're probably going to end up hating me.
Chloe: No. So, uh, you didn't like the dress, either.
Kate: Actually, I think we could find something that would be more flattering to your figure. See? Dead honesty, just like you. Speaking of dead honesty, you know, daniel -- he's always so soft-spoken, always in control. I'll tell you, when you put him in the bedroom, he's a wild man.
Kate: Oh, I guess you didn't need to hear that, did you?
Chloe: No. No, I didn'T.
Stefano: Everything going according to plan?
E.J.: Yep, looks that way.
Stefano: Good work, elvis. Good work.
E.J.: Somebody is about to have a very, very bad day.
Philip: What's wrong?
Stephanie: That's what I'm trying to find out. No, no, no, no.
Stephanie: Oh, my God.
Philip: What did you do? What just happened?
Nicole: You look serious.
E.J.: Yeah, I'm just working on a deal, darling.
Nicole: Hmm, well, that's you -- busy, busy, busy. Running your company. Running sami's life.
E.J.: What are you talking about?
Nicole: Huh. So, tell me something. What the hell does it matter to you who sami kisses these days?
Stefano: I want you to go back to that convent, but this time, I want to know why nicole went there.
Sami: So, Grace is okay, right? And everything is all right?
Sister theresa: The only thing you have to worry about is her getting spoiled. At last count, she had seven nuns, one postulant, the maintenance man, and the guy who shovels the snow all wrapped around her little finger.
Sami: Thank you so much for everything. I mean, I really couldn't do this if I didn't know you were watching out for her.
Sister theresa: I am having the time of my life. You do know that.
Sami: So, um, the sisters and everyone, they all know to keep quiet about Grace, right?
Sister theresa: Sami, just because they know we have a baby here doesn't mean they know who the baby is.
Sami: I guess you're right. I just get scared. So, everyone loves her?
Sister theresa: Oh, because she is the sweetest little thing. Yesterday, this young woman stopped by, and Grace was so calm when she picked her up.
Sami: What woman? Who was there? Who was she?
Philip: Titan's entire database was wiped clean.
Stephanie: How could that happen?
Philip: Oh, I have a damn good idea.
Melanie: Could we tie philip to those chairs and break those bottles over his head?
Brady: I thought we could do the next best thing.
Sami: Where is my baby? Where is Grace?
