Brady: Hey, Stephanie, have you seen Melanie?
Stephanie: No, but I just got here. Did you check her office?
Brady: Yeah, yeah, I did, but all her stuff is gone. It's like she cleared out or something.
Stephanie: Why would she do that?
Philip: Because I fired her.
[Door opens, closes]
Melanie: Well, you just -- you can't get enough of this place, can you?
Max: Melanie. What are you doing here?
Melanie: Do I detect a hint of sarcasm there?
Max: Did you come back for the blueprints?
Melanie: I really need them, Max. You have to help me.
Max: Not on your life.
Rafe: Sami? Sami? Hey, little baby. W-wh-- what's all the fuss about, baby? Hmm? Come here. Okay, baby face. Okay, shh. Mama's gonna be right back. She will. She's gonna be right back.
Sami: What are you doing?
Rafe: Oh, honestly, I don't have a clue.
Nicole: You are really hungry, huh?
[Sighs] I'm so glad you're okay, thanks to Lexie. Don't you ever scare me like that again. Do you understand?
[Sighs] Not after everything I went through to have you. Honey, if you ever find out what happened, I hope you understand that I did everything from my heart because I love you, you and your daddy. You're my family, my life, and nothing else matters.
E.J.: Nor me. Which is why I hope you won't be cross when you see what I've done.
Rafe: I wa-- I was just trying to, you know, sooth her 'cause she -- she seems upset.
Sami: Okay, okay. Give her to me.
Rafe: Okay. Hey, sweetheart.
Rafe: Got her?
Sami: Yeah, I've got her.
Sami: Hi, pumpkin. Hey. Hey. It's okay.
Rafe: I don't think she likes me.
Sami: Oh, little Grace. Agent big bad wolf isn't as evil as he seems. No. Oh, here you go again.
Sami: Oh, no, you don't need it.
Rafe: Wow. You see, you're really good at this mommy thing.
[Sighs] I guess what I'm best at is deserting my kids, though.
Rafe: Hey, come on. Hey, where's that coming from, huh?
Sami: I love Grace. I love her so much. But I miss my other kids, too.
Sami: I miss Johnny and Allie and will so much.
Nicole: Honey, why would I be cross with you?
E.J.: Okay, well, I'm really hoping that you won't be. But after I did what I -- what I did, when it was already a fait accompli, I realized that maybe I should have consulted with you. But I only didn't because I wanted it to be a surprise.
Nicole: A surprise?
E.J.: A big surprise.
E.J.: You ready to check out the... society page?
Nicole: Oh. Uh...our wedding announcement.
E.J.: Mm-hmm. Read there.
Nicole: "Elvis DiMera and Nicole walker are to be married on Wednesday evening the 18th of march 2009. Father Jansen will --" this is in the paper. Everyone will know.
E.J.: Is that a bad thing?
Nicole: Yes, it is.
E.J.: Nicole, I'm sorry, all right? You're right. It was presumptuous of me. I just -- I thought you were as excited as I was to tell the whole world.
Nicole: I am. It just scares me that you would make a decision like this without asking me how I feel about it.
E.J.: I see.
Nicole: I mean, I just -- this wedding -- I want us to be very careful planning this, okay? It's gonna be so hard getting all this together in four weeks. I'm gonna feel too rushed.
E.J.: Okay, well, we can certainly push it back a bit.
Nicole: Not that far. I just -- how about a couple of weeks?
E.J.: Okay. A couple of weeks is fine. A couple of weeks I can deal with. Can we please zone in on a date, though, so I can stick another announcement in this newspaper?
Nicole: Are you sure you're okay?
E.J.: I'm okay. I'll deal with it. [Chuckles] I'll be fine. Look, we can put this to one side, but there are some things that we need to crack on with.
Nicole: Like what?
E.J.: Well, for starters, you, young lady, are going to need a bridal gown. So we need to get that made.
Nicole: Uh, made?
Nicole: What -- what are you doing?
E.J.: Well, I think it would be a good idea for you to go shopping for one today, don't you?
Nicole: Today? Like -- like right now?
E.J.: Yeah. I am quite capable of taking care of Sydney. Mary's here if I get into any problems.
Nicole: But I, um...
E.J.: I think you'll be okay. All right, I want you to take this.
E.J.: Yeah, you'll let me know if you need any more, right?
Nicole: Yeah. Yeah, I'm sure this will be fine.
E.J.: Oh, somebody's awake. Hey, sweetheart. Now, what do you think? Would you like to go for a walk in your stroller with daddy?
E.J.: I'm gonna take her upstairs, put on one of those nice, pink sweaters you bought her.
Nicole: Thank you.
E.J.: Go shopping.
Nicole: Okay, I will. Mommy will be home soon, angel.
Brady: Sure, yeah. Yeah, that makes sense. You know, it's my personal motto, actually. Always fire the person that's going to make you millions of dollars, especially in today's economy when money is so easy to come by.
Philip: Are you done?
Brady: I don't know. Are you insane?
Philip: No. That would be Melanie -- insane, untrustworthy. You name it. I caught her here, hacking into a computer last night...
Philip: ...Trying to steal the plans for the prototype. I had her taken out by security. She's banned from the building. End of story.
Brady: All right, wait, wait. I know the DiMeras are circling here, but we exercised our option on the patent. Why wouldn't Melanie be happy? What the hell changed?
Stephanie: That's what I'd like to know.
Brady: You pissed her off, didn't you? You pissed her off. What did you do, Philip?
Philip: I had her served with an injunction.
Brady: That's great, man. Way to go. You know, way to smooth things over.
Philip: I know what I'm doing.
Brady: Well, it seems like Melanie knows what she's doing, too.
Brady: Philip, you blew it, man. You went bungee jumping without a rope, and there's never a happy ending when that happens.
Melanie: Oh, no, no, no. You are not playing that game with me.
Max: I'm not playing any games, Melanie.
Melanie: Those plans belong to me.
Max: No, those plans belong to Titan, actually, and you have a deal with them. And that copy belongs to me.
Max: Yes. Nick sent them to me for safekeeping.
Max: Mm-hmm. 'Cause he wanted to keep them out of the wrong hands.
Melanie: Oh, like mine, you mean.
Max: Well, you figure that one out, Mel.
Melanie: Wow. Wow, Max. And here I thought you were somebody that believed in me.
Max: Mel, I know you're smart. But I don't think you seem to realize who you're messing with.
Melanie: I know who I'm messing with. I know that the DiMeras and the Kiriakises are mean and dangerous, but so am I when I have to be. And I could beat those jerks with my hands tied behind my back.
Max: Do you hear yourself? You're an 18-year-old girl who has zero business experience, talking about how tough she is.
Melanie: Don't make fun of me, Max.
Max: No, and how you're going on about how you're going to take down two of the most powerful conglomerates in the country.
Melanie: You listen to me, Max Brady. I have a plan, and it's gonna work. But I need you to trust me.
Max: Trust you? You're trying to use this project, something that was created for the good of the planet. You're trying to use it to get back at Philip or get Philip or whatever. Either way, it doesn't inspire me to -- to trust you, Mel.
Melanie: Then I'll cut you in.
Melanie: We'll be super rich. I mean, like, seriously rolling in it. Do I have your attention now? Interesting proposition. Help me, help yourself.
Max: Forget it.
Melanie: Oh, that's right. I forgot. You like being poor. How did I let that one slip my mind?
Max: Mel, nick trusted me with this, and I'm not gonna let him down, all right?
Melanie: What about your sister?
Melanie: Take your time. Serve you right if I just stole them. But...then again, I would lose the only family I have. I don't think it would hurt if I just took a look, though.
Max: What are you doing?
Melanie: Uh, nothing. Relax, Max. It's not like I can understand any of that. It's all just weird, like, numbers and symbols and stuff.
Max: Actually, it's very simple in concept, thank you.
Melanie: Oh. Maybe to you. You're the smart one.
[Laughs] Okay. Well, as for me, I got to get going, so you do your thing. And I'm gonna do mine. Uh, okay. Bye.
[Chuckles] You are going down, Philip K., And I'm gonna love every second of it.
Philip: Maybe you didn't hear what I was saying, okay? She was trying to steal the prototype from us and take it to the DiMeras.
Brady: It's because you served her with this damn injunction!
Philip: And that makes it right.
Brady: Did you ever think about talking to her and maybe asking her why she wanted to bolt in the first place?
Philip: Yeah. I did try and talk to her. I tried to convince her to stay, but she wouldn't. She just flashed that bitchy "up yours" smile at me. "Sorry, Philip, no can do. I'm gonna make your life a living hell. That's how I get my kicks."
Nicole: Hey, it's me. I need you to meet me at the pier right away, okay?
Brady: What's going on?
Nicole: I have no time to explain. I'll see you soon.
Philip: What's up?
Brady: Got to go. We're gonna talk about this later.
Philip: So, I guess you agree with Brady.
Stephanie: I should get to work.
[Sighs] Look, about last night... I tried to call you when I got home, a few times.
Stephanie: I know. I saw.
Philip: Right. So, maybe I should take you off my speed dial?
Stephanie: Philip, I keep seeing this side of you, and it scares me. It's like...the guy I fell in love with -- I don't know where he went.
Philip: Maybe that guy wasn't me.
Nicole: Whoa! Hey.
Nicole: What are you doing here?
Melanie: Good morning to you, too. I'm here to talk to E.J.
Melanie: Sorry, um, I should have called first, but it's urgent. It's about the proposal.
E.J.: Oh, it's business. Would you excuse us?
Nicole: Yeah, sure. Is, uh, Sydney still sleeping?
E.J.: She's out like a light. Now, go shopping.
Nicole: I will. Love you.
E.J.: I love you. Come in. So, Melanie. What do you have for me?
Melanie: Enough for you to destroy Philip Kiriakis and his daddy's company. You interested?
Nicole: Oh, Brady, I'm sorry I'm late. I, uh, I had to stop by the bank.
Brady: What is this?
Nicole: It's the $10,000 I owe you. I told you I'd pay you back.
Brady: Yeah. Yeah. But I didn't expect it to be so soon.
Nicole: No, neither did I.
Brady: You paid baker off?
Nicole: Yes, I did, the creep.
Brady: At least that's settled, right?
Nicole: I hope.
Brady: You hope? What do you mean, you hope? It's done, right?
Nicole: I'm not sure it is, Brady, not with baker or Mia.
Brady: What are you talking about? Did something happen?
Nicole: No, not yet. But you're right. The other shoe's gonna drop, Brady. It's just a matter of time.
Sami: Even when I'm looking at Grace, I can't stop thinking about my other kids, wishing I could be with them.
Rafe: Well, you'll be home soon, Sami.
Sami: Right. To do that, I have to leave Grace behind.
Rafe: She's gonna be in good hands with sister Theresa.
Sami: I'm her mommy.
Rafe: Yeah, well, you sure that there isn't some way that you can take her with you?
Sami: I have worked too hard to protect her from the DiMeras. I mean, I can't go back now. And now that E.J. Is definitely with Nicole, I -- I shudder to think how she is with my son.
Rafe: You really think that Nicole is that bad? No, I mean, in comparison to someone like Stefano, for instance.
Sami: What I know is that she hates my guts, and she is capable of anything. And I can only imagine how she is with Johnny when E.J.'S not around.
Rafe: Well, I can't imagine her being mean to an innocent little baby.
Sami: She's capable of just about anything. You know, I sometimes wish I could just call E.J. and tell him about our little girl. I know he'd drop Nicole in a New York minute.
Rafe: Well... why don't you call him? E.J.'S just a phone call away.
Stephanie: If the guy I fell in love with wasn't you, then who is he?
Philip: I'm not Max Brady, never will be.
Stephanie: What?! Why would you mention Max? What does he have to do with this?
Philip: That's who you want me to be, isn't it? One of those mild-mannered, unambitious Brady guys. That's what does it for you.
Stephanie: Are you trying to hurt me now?
Philip: Hurt you? Unless I'm missing something here, I'm the one who's getting dumped. And if I brought up Max, it's only because I think that's who you're trying to turn me into.
Stephanie: I don't want to turn you into anyone. I want to like you for who you are.
Philip: But you can't do that.
Philip: You're right. I can't. You know why? Because you pretended to be someone else so I'd fall in love with you. And then when I did and you got what you wanted, you decided to bring out the real you. Timed it out perfectly, didn't you?
Philip: Timed it?
Stephanie: Yeah, because now it's really hard.
Stephanie: Yes, to end this.
Philip: I think I know why that is.
Stephanie: Of course you do. I just told you why.
Philip: No, no, no.
Stephanie: No what?
Philip: You see, I missed it before, when I said that you were looking for someone that was a good guy, a stand-up citizen.
Stephanie: What do you mean, you missed it?
Philip: Well, you missed it, too, Stephanie. You thought you fell in love with someone else, but you didn't. That was me... a bad me, a scary me, and I don't think you want me to change.
E.J.: Please. So, you accomplished the impossible, did you?
Melanie: Ah, that is my specialty.
E.J.: So, where are they, these plans, these blueprints?
Melanie: I have them, and you will get them.
Melanie: When the time is right.
E.J.: You don't have them.
Melanie: You -- you saying you don't believe me? That's insulting.
E.J.: I'm saying, miss Layton, that I do my homework. And I'm well aware of the fact that though you have ownership of the fuels project, you no longer have access to it.
Melanie: That's not exactly true.
E.J.: Is it exactly true that Philip Kiriakis took out an injunction yesterday that, uh, banned you from taking the project elsewhere? Is it exactly true that he had you escorted out of the building at Titan yesterday?
Melanie: How did you know that?
E.J.: Knowing things is my speciality.
Melanie: Yeah, no kidding. Look, just because Philip kicked me out doesn't mean that I left empty-handed, E.J.
E.J.: So, what did you do? Did you steal the documents?
Melanie: No, I left with what I came in with, my smarts.
E.J.: We're all in trouble, aren't we? Look, either give me the documents or leave. I don't really care which.
Melanie: I -- I don't have them with me, but if you give me a piece of paper and a pencil, you'll have them.
E.J.: A piece of paper and a pencil. A pie-- fine. There's a piece of paper and a pencil over there.
Rafe: What are you waiting for?
Sami: Don't tempt me.
Rafe: Okay, so, honestly, you think if you talk to E.J., He would just abandon Nicole and her baby.
Rafe: But you're the one who's lied to him and kept the truth from him.
Sami: Well, I had a very good reason.
Rafe: Well, I doubt E.J. Would see it that way.
Sami: He knows how I feel about the DiMeras.
Rafe: That doesn't mean that he's gonna be sympathetic. You realize this whole thing could backfire. He could take Grace from you and stay with Nicole.
Sami: Are you trying to make me feel worse?
Rafe: I'm just trying to keep it real because if E.J. Did that, not only would he and Nicole be raising one of your kids as a DiMera -- they'd also be raising little Grace here, too.
Brady: Nicole, talk to me. Did baker threaten you?
Nicole: He's desperate, Brady. He made it very clear to me that he has no problem blowing the whistle if I don't do what he says.
Brady: The guy's a bastard.
Nicole: And if E.J. Finds out that I didn't give birth to our child and that I never told him that I miscarried --
Brady: Nicole, it's --
Nicole: Look, I have lost so much already... my -- my precious little miracle baby. I... I won't lose E.J. and Sydney, too. I can't.
Sami: I am not letting E.J. and Nicole get my baby. There is no way I would let a court take Grace away from me.
Rafe: Well, Sami, considering that you have kept this baby a secret from her father, a judge might take that into consideration, you know.
Sami: Whose side are you on?
Brady: I know you've been through a lot. I know you're scared. But it all kind of worked out, didn't it? I mean, you got E.J., You got your baby, and you're not gonna lose either one of them.
Nicole: Yeah, but Dr. Baker --
Brady: Dr. Baker, Nicole, has so much more to lose than anybody if this thing gets out. The guy's in the baby brokering business. He could go to jail for a long, long time.
Nicole: He's not the only one.
Brady: You didn't buy Sydney from baker, not intentionally. She willingly left her baby to you. She wanted you to have her baby.
Nicole: I have to go.
Brady: Nicole, why did you react like that?
Nicole: Like what?
Brady: Like what? The minute I mentioned Mia wanting you to have her baby, you shut down on me. I mean, is there something that I don't know here?
Nicole: Yes, there is. There is something I haven't told you. But you know so much already, and now it's my turn to protect you, just like you've been protecting me.
Brady: Pro-- protect me?
Nicole: Yes. Look, if E.J. finds out --
Brady: E.J. -- I can handle E.J.
Nicole: I don't want you to have to handle E.J. You came back to Salem to get your life back on track, not to get involved with me and my problems.
Brady: I'm your friend. I'm your friend, and I'm already involved.
Nicole: I appreciate that more than you know. But right now, I am on my own. And you don't have to look after me anymore. Thank you.
Brady: Nico, hi, it's Brady. Listen, I need your help. I need you to track down a Dr. Baker from the fairway urgent care center. Yeah. I want to know where he is right now.
E.J.: Do you mind telling me what the devil you're doing?
E.J.: What is it?
Melanie: It's the formula for the alternative fuels project.
E.J.: This is it? This is all of it?
Melanie: No. That's half, enough to prove to you and your people that I'm legit.
E.J.: Okay, and, uh, I'm supposed to believe that you just pulled this out of... the air.
Melanie: You think I'm tricking you?
E.J.: Well, if your reputation is any kind of guideline --
Melanie: Oh, my reputation.
E.J.: Yeah, pint-sized grifter, petty thief, not particularly a good one at that. You can understand why I'm a little skeptical.
Melanie: Maybe your sources or whoever told you I was a pint-sized whatever should have also told you that I was my father's card counter.
E.J.: Well, how is that pertinent?
Melanie: I have a photographic memory. So, while all those symbols and numbers don't mean anything to me, I know that's an exact replica of what Titan has. And the best part is it's all completely untraceable because it's all right up here. But if you don't want it or you're not interested or you don't believe me or whatever, I can definitely take it somewhere else.
E.J.: Whoa, whoa, whoa. Let's not get ahead of ourselves, shall we?
Stephanie: What an ego.
Philip: Am I wrong?
Stephanie: Yes, and deluded and arrogant and typically male to think that a woman actually likes a man to be dangerous and mean and nasty.
Philip: Okay, enlighten me. What do women like?
Stephanie: I can't speak for all women...
Philip: You just made it sound like you could.
Stephanie: ...But I can speak for myself and my friends when I say that women like a man to be kind and sensitive, a decent person.
Philip: You're starting to sound a little delusional yourself.
Stephanie: Like hell I am.
Philip: And, by the way, one of the reasons I was attracted to you in the first place...
Stephanie: This ought to be good.
Philip: ...Is you're not such a good girl yourself.
Stephanie: Come again?
Philip: I mean it.
Stephanie: You mean what?
Philip: I know that's the image that you'd like to put forward, but... I've seen the real you.
Stephanie: Okay, this is really wasting my time.
Philip: That good girl thing, that's all an act.
Stephanie: Right. Because deep down inside, I am a bad, bad girl, just mean and nasty. Talking scary? I'll show you scary.
Philip: There you go. I like that. That's hot.
Stephanie: Okay, I have work to do.
Philip: All right, go ahead. Walk away. Live in denial.
Stephanie: I am not in denial. I am angry and disgusted that you would presume to tell me what you think I'm like or who you think I am. It's insane that you think you know me better than I know me.
Philip: Then have lunch with me. Why don't you tell me what you think you're really like. We'll work this out together.
Stephanie: Sorry, not interested. Not in the least.
Stephanie: What the --
Philip: Small world.
Stephanie: Are you following me?
Philip: Just came to grab a bite alone, by myself. Do you have a table for one?
Stephanie: All right, I get the picture.
Philip: I'm sorry. I was just trying --
Stephanie: To explain to me how alone you are. My heart is breaking. Excuse me.
Philip: Just wait. Please. Look, I was wondering if... since you keep saying that you don't know the real me, and since I've obviously made a total fool of myself telling you who you are, which, by the way, I admit I was wrong.
Philip: Maybe you are a sweet girl, not a mean bone in your body.
Stephanie: Actually, I'm feeling pretty mean right now.
Philip: Should I get ready to duck?
Stephanie: No, I have self-control.
Philip: Anyway, since you say you don't know the real me and since I've been reading you all wrong, why don't we start over, clean slate?
Stephanie: It's not really that simple, Philip.
Philip: It's worth a try, no? Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Philip Kiriakis. And you are?
Stephanie: Stephanie Johnson.
Philip: Nice to meet you.
E.J.: A photographic memory. Really?
Melanie: Mm-hmm. In fact, I'm memorizing your handsome face right now so I can go home and paint your picture.
E.J.: Maybe I was a little bit hasty in dismissing this, uh, talent of yours.
Melanie: So, where do we stand? We in business?
E.J.: I will need the rest of those plans.
Melanie: Of course. I'll need a slight advance. Money now -- rest of the formula later.
E.J.: [Chuckles] Look at you. Okay. I don't think that's gonna be a problem.
Melanie: Excellent. I think we're gonna be enjoying a long, mutually satisfying relationship.
E.J.: I'm sure. I'll have the people at DiMera enterprises look these over. I'll be in touch.
Melanie: I'll be waiting by my phone.
[Chuckles] I'm just kidding.
Nicole: Hmm, are you still here?
Melanie: Better get used to it, baby.
E.J.: Hey, you're back early.
Nicole: Yeah. I missed the baby.
E.J.: You did?
Nicole: Is she still sleeping?
E.J.: She is still fast asleep. She's been asleep for two hours.
E.J.: Did you find that dress?
Nicole: Not yet. But I will.
E.J.: Um... you're not still upset with me, are you?
E.J.: About the wedding announcement.
Nicole: No. No, actually, um, I'm glad that you did it. It made me realize I need to get all my ducks in a row.
E.J.: And did you?
Nicole: I hope so.
Sami: You're right. This is about Grace. And I just want to do what's best for her.
Rafe: Well, that's exactly what you're doing. You're going home soon. You're gonna be with your family. You're gonna be the same great mother that you always were. And when the time is right, you'll bring little Grace home.
Sami: Yeah. That's the way it has to be.
Rafe: Want some lunch?
Sami: Of course. Thanks.
Sami: Clean up. Rafe, your sports page. Oh, my God. Ni-- Nicole had a daughter... Sydney... on the same day that I had Grace.
Philip: You're not talking much.
Stephanie: We just met. It takes me awhile to warm up.
Philip: Right. I get that.
Stephanie: Unlike you, Mr. Extrovert.
Philip: Well, since we're "getting to know each other," I'm gonna have to contradict you on that.
Philip: Uh-huh. I'm kind of...insecure, truth be known.
Stephanie: Oh, that's so sad.
Philip: I mean it. When I...care about somebody, when I meet someone, I tend to get kind of shy, like right now.
Stephanie: You don't seem that shy to me.
Philip: Well, maybe that's the wrong word. I guess what I'm trying to say is... I want this to work. I'm just trying to be careful. I don't want to blow it. That's the last thing I want.
Stephanie: Oh, Philip.
Melanie: Oh, hey. Um... I don't mean to interrupt. I just, um -- I wanted to say I'm sorry about earlier, our misunderstanding. And I'm willing, if you are, to let bygones be bygones.
Stephanie: What was that about?
Philip: I don't know. Can't be good.
Sami: I can't believe Nicole and I both had E.J.'S baby on the same day. That is so weird. Damn that money-grubbing witch. I should show up at that church on march 18th and stop everything. But I'm not gonna do that, am I, Grace? No, I'm not, sweetheart. You know why? Because Nicole is gonna self-destruct all on her own. And you -- you, my little princess Grace, you are my priority. I love you so much. And I'm gonna look out for you, Grace. I'm gonna always do what's best for you, okay? I promise.
Dr. Baker: What are you doing here?
Brady: Hey, I'm glad you remember me.
Dr. Baker: Yeah, you're the guy who first brought Nicole to the, um, ho-- how did you know where I was?
Brady: I got my ways. I hear that you, uh... you're up to your eyes in debt. Is that true, doc?
Dr. Baker: I'll be fine.
Brady: You're gonna be fine? Good. Yeah, I hear you're gonna be fine 'cause you've been using, uh, my friend Nicole as your personal A.T.M., right? You jerk. I'll tell you something right now. You go near her one more time, and I will break your freakin' neck! You understand me?
E.J.: Okay. One -- I have one piece of work. One piece of work. That's it. That's it.
E.J.: Then we can talk about wedding planning all night.
Nicole: Ooh, I'd like that. Okay.
E.J.: I'll be right back.
Nicole: Right back. Are you su-- oh --
E.J.: Right -- I'm gonna be right back. Right. Stay. I'm coming back.
Nicole: [Chuckles] [Sighs]
[Cellphone ringing] Hello.
Mia: Nicole, it's Mia. I know you said never to call again, but I need to talk to you about my baby.
Bo: Kind of have to talk about this at some point.
Hope: Maybe not for a long time. Maybe never.
Chelsea: Max, I shouldn't have to spell this out for you. You should just know.
Philip: You've done something.
Nicole: Drop it.
Brady: No! Tell me what happened now.
