Rafe: Well, I am not worried, Sami.
Sami: You should be. It shows how little you know about the DiMeras.
Rafe: Uh, no, actually, it shows how little you know about me.
Sami: I know enough, and now Stefano knows about you, too. I mean, we're probably gonna see the video of you searching the mansion on YouTube. Stefano probably already has people out looking for you.
Rafe: Yeah, except that no one even knows that I was there.
Sami: How can you say that?
Rafe: Because I disabled the DiMera surveillance equipment.
Sami: You know how to do that?
Rafe: One of the job requirements.
Sami: Wow. You're a genius.
Rafe: Yeah, well, it took you long enough to realize it.
Sami: Hey, wait a second. You talked to Nicole, so Nicole saw you. And whoever let you into the mansion saw you, too.
Sami: So Stefano doesn't have to see you on tape. He's still gonna find out that you were there. Don't you see? Your life is still in danger and it's all because of me.
E.J.: Okay, so, you're telling me that this whole thing is just a mere coincidence?
Stefano: What happened on the pier has nothing to do with this.
E.J.: Oh, you like to think so.
Stefano: I know so. Because the person who dismantled this system works on a much more sophisticated level than those hoodlums.
E.J.: Okay, but you can't just rule it out.
Stefano: I don't know how you are going to take the reigns of this family over if you don't have the heart and the stomach for it.
E.J.: I thought we -- I thought we'd left that for the time being.
Stefano: The DiMeras do not make idle threats.
E.J.: When did I make an idle threat?
Stefano: You said that if anybody were to harm your children and put them the way of any kind of danger --
E.J.: There would be hell to pay. Yes, I know what I said!
Stefano: Yes, and what kind of hell do you think you're gonna give the intruder that invaded this house?
Nicole: I was surfing the net.
Brady: I saw the screen. I saw what you were surfing.
Nicole: Well, it's good to see you, Brady. Got to scoot.
Brady: Nicole, you were going on adoption websites?
Nicole: So? What's it to you?
Brady: First you pretend that you're pregnant by padding your belly and now you're going online to find a baby?
Nicole: No, you're totally making assumptions. You don't know what I was trying to do.
Brady: Look, you told me I had to keep your little secret for one day, so I assume that means I can start talking about it the next day?
Brady: You're not gonna tell E.J. about losing the baby at all, are you?
Nicole: Look, Brady, you know what the doctor said -- that I can't conceive another child. So what, is it a crime to want to adopt, to give a child a good life like the Brady's did for Max? Why are you looking at me like that what, you don't think I'll make a good mother?
Brady: Yo know that's not what I'm concerned about.
Nicole: I am just trying to do a good thing here.
Brady: Oh, then you are going to go tell E.J. that you lost the baby and suggest that the two of you adopt? No, Nicole, that's not what you're gonna do. You're planning to lie. You're gonna get a bigger and bigger pregnancy pad and then you're gonna go off somewhere and pretend to give birth. And think about who you're dealing with here. You're lying to the DiMeras, Nicole. Think about it. You know what Stefano did to my Father. That was a member of his own family.
Nicole: Would you please keep your voice down?
Brady: Nicole, when he finds out -- and he will find out -- that you've been trying to put one over on him and his beloved son about the one thing that he cares the most about in this world, which is his heirs, he's going to eliminate you. You want to end up dead?
Lucas: I'm so proud of you. Do you have any idea?
Chloe: Okay, okay, enough already.
Lucas: What? I can't thank you for your bravery?
Chloe: No, you're not allowed.
Lucas: Seriously, Chloe, I can't believe you're going through this again. I mean, I can't believe you're doing this for my Mom. You've already been through it yourself.
Chloe: I'm doing it because I want to, okay? It's selfish. My self-esteem is going through the roof.
Lucas: I love you.
Chloe: You know what? I'm actually kind of worried about you.
Lucas: Me? Why?
Chloe: Well, you know, with your mother and me at the hospital at the same time might be kind of hard on you.
Lucas: I'll just think about what I have to look forward to, you know, my Mom being healthy and you becoming my wife.
Chloe: Mm, yeah.
Lucas: That'll be nice.
Chloe: Having your mom's blessing -- it's such a relief. I'm kind of glad you decided to let her know we're engaged.
Lucas: Yeah, me too.
Chloe: Because now I get to flaunt this fabulous diamond.
Lucas: It is fabulous. Although, you have to get it sized, right? You said it was too tight.
Chloe: Yeah, but I hate to take it off. Actually, I can't take it off.
Chloe: Well, I can with soap and water, but it's kind of ha-- oh, my God!
Chloe: Oh, my God, Lucas, my ring! I'm so sorry.
Lucas: All right, don't worry about it. I'll get it.
Chloe: It's freezing and dark. You're not gonna find it anyway. It's impossible. Lucas, what are you doing?
Lucas: I have to try, don't I?
Chloe: Lucas, no! [Water splashes]
Rafe: Sami, I'm an FBI Agent, remember?
Sami: I don't care if you're James Bond. The DiMeras don't stop --
Rafe: Okay, I have gone up against people far-more dangerous than the DiMeras, okay?
Sami: Oh, really? Oh, really? We are talking about people who can get an entire town in a state of panic just by existing.
Rafe: That's a tad bit dramatic, don't you think?
Sami: No, I don't think! I think, if anything, I'm understating things. The DiMeras are the worst.
Rafe: Worst. The worst? Really? The worst? Um, 'cause I seem to recall that you have a kid with one of them. Oh, wait, I'm sorry. Actually, you have another one on the way, don't you?
Sami: E.J. DiMera was the biggest mistake of my life. And for the record, Johnny would never have been born if it -- I'm not getting into this with you. You don't want to believe me about the DiMeras, then that's fine. It's your funeral. Be a naive idiot if you want. Your life.
Rafe: Sami. Sami, listen, uh...I am flattered that you are worried about me.
Sami: Stop it, okay? You think I'm just a drama queen. You know, it's not like I'm trying to overreact here, okay? I'm pregnant, and I have all these -- ugh! -- Emotions, and I miss my children.
Rafe: I know.
Sami: Hilda brought me pictures of them earlier. They were such great pictures. And they look so different and big and...and they were smiling in the pictures. [Crying]
Rafe: Smiling. That upsets you?
Sami: I know how horrible this sounds, okay? I get it. It's selfish, and it's not fair, but...but I don't want them to be okay with me. [Sniffles] [Sobs]
E.J.: I don't have to prove myself to you. I don't have to lay out my plans or share my thoughts with you, and I will look after my family my way.
Stefano: You neglected to mention your children are my grandchildren, and I have a tremendous stake in the future of them, huh? All I want is for you to be a man of your damn word.
E.J.: You know what? I'm tired of this. I need to find Nicole.
Stefano: You're still avoiding my main question.
E.J.: Well, uh, that seems to have been missing from our conversation.
Stefano: Regarding your intentions with Nicole.
E.J.: Yes, darling, it's me. Hey, I'm back at the house. Just wondering what time you'll get home. Give me a call, okay? Thanks.
Stefano: Elvis, the woman is the mother of your unborn child, all right? And yet you haven't done anything to secure your relationship. Why is that? [Chuckles] I mean, you do care for her I assume.
E.J.: Tell me you did not just say that.
Stefano: [Sighs] Look, why don't you just marry her and make it legal? This way, you will have an irrevocable claim on the future of your child. Look, Elvis... why not do it right from the start, hmm? A choice that I -- well, I did not have with you, regrettably.
E.J.: Father, my future is about a lot more than heirs.
Stefano: Indeed. So [Chuckles] if you love her as much as you say you love her, hmm, marry her and be a family. I mean, what is standing in your way? Never mind. I think I know the answer to that. It's Samantha, isn't it?
Rafe: Sami. Sami, come on. You're gonna be home soon. You're gonna have a great reunion with your kids.
Sami: Yeah, yeah, I'm sure.
Rafe: But you're still worried about the baby that you're carrying.
Sami: You think?
Rafe: Well, don't worry about it. Listen, you're gonna figure out what to do when the time's right.
Sami: How am I supposed to do that? You won't even let me see Sister Theresa.
Rafe: This Sister Theresa thing again. What is it with her?
Nicole: Gee, what, are you trying to scare me or something?
Brady: I'm trying to get through to you.
Nicole: Well, let me try to get through to you, Brady Black. I have taken care of myself my entire life. I am tough, I am thick-skinned, I am strong, and I am resilient. And I have been abused, I have been rejected, and I have been crush. You name it, I have been it. But I have always, always come back. Do you understand me? People have pushed me down, and I got up.
Brady: You are underestimating the power of the DiMera family.
Nicole: And you are underestimating E.J.'s feelings for me. He would never hurt me. He loves me.
Brady: If that's true, he will love you even if you tell him that you've lost the baby. Nicole, if you're going to adopt a baby, it's something you and E.J. need to do together and decide together.
Nicole: You are absolutely right. It is our decision -- mine and E.J.'s -- so you will stay out of it.
Brady: I'm sorry. I can't do that.
Chelsea: What's in the box?
Chelsea: Is it a Christmas gift?
Max: No, it's, um -- it's actually something Trent gave me, and I can't bring myself to open it, so...
Chelsea: Hey, Max. You don't want to do that.
Nicole: Brady...I never realized how much I wanted to be a mother until I had that baby growing inside me. But now she's gone. And that empty feeling haunts me every minute of every day.
Brady: You are not alone. You have E.J. You -- you have me.
Nicole: Well, then, if I have you, help me, Brady, please.
Brady: I will, Nicole.
Nicole: You will?
Brady: I will, but not in the way that you want. I will tell E.J. the truth.
Chloe: Oh, my God. Come here. Come here.
Lucas: Yes. Yes! Yes! Got it!
Chloe: I can't believe you actually found it.
Lucas: I can't believe I found it, either. That was nasty water. What are the odds?
Chloe: It's a miracle. Oh, my God. Look at you. Oh, here.
Lucas: I'll be fine. Don't worry about it. I got a change of clothes in the car. I'll be fine.
Chloe: Okay, well, let's go.
Lucas: Wait a minute. Before we go, there's something I got to take care of. Give me your hand.
Lucas: Put this bad boy back where it belongs.
Chloe: All right, I'm never taking it off again. I promise.
Lucas: Good, 'cause I'm never going in that river again. That's freezing.
Chloe: Come on. Come here. Let's put some clothes on you.
Nicole: Let me analyze this.
Brady: You're wasting your time, Nicole.
Nicole: No, no, I see what's going on here, okay? You're miserable, and therefore you want everybody want to be miserable around you, too.
Brady: I am not at all miserable.
Nicole: Oh, really? Then why do you resent me being happy?
Brady: Are you happy, Nicole?
Nicole: Well, I would be if you kept our mouth shut.
Brady: I'm in recovery, okay? Which is why I can't go on with this ongoing lie.
Nicole: Right. So you want to send me back to drinking, huh, you sanctimonious son of a -- is that what you want, Brady, huh? You want to destroy my life? You want to put me right back where I was before I got pregnant, which was nowhere? Is that what you really want?
Brady: Nicole, I want you to do the right thing. Now, are you gonna tell E.J. the truth or will I?
Chelsea: You don't want to throw this away without knowing what's inside.
Max: Yeah, I do.
Chelsea: But you're always gonna wonder.
Max: Wonder what? What other kind of cruel joke my Dad decided to play on me after
he was dead?
Chelsea: All right, come here. Can I get mushy for a second?
Max: I'm not in the mood for mushy.
Chelsea: Well, too bad. Gonna get mushy anyway. Your father gave you life. Now, don't you think that it's possible that he loved you enough to try to give you a better one?
Max: My Dad abandoned me, and there was nothing noble about it. He wanted to be rid of me.
Chelsea: Okay, fine. If you refuse to think that there was any good in your father whatsoever, then forget about him, okay? Let's just focus on the box. What if there's money inside?
Max: I don't want his money.
Chelsea: Okay. Well, you could give it charity. I just -- I just don't feel like you should throw it away, you know, and let whatever's in there go to waste.
Max: I'm not opening the box, Chelsea. I'm t gonna let that bastard have the last word.
Chelsea: You don't have to. Come with me. I have an idea. Come on.
Max: Brick, can you give me my jacket?
Brick: Yeah, no problem. I'll be back.
Nicole: Please, Brady, I just -- I just need a little more time.
Brady: I got to go.
Nicole: No, no, wait. Brady, wait, wait, wait. We haven't figured things out yet. Just wait.
Chloe: Oh, hey. Hi, you guys.
Nicole: Whoa, what happened to you?
Chloe: Oh, my God. He was my hero. He dove into the Salem River to rescue my engagement ring.
Nicole: Oh! Oh, you're -- you're engaged. Oh, my gosh. I'm so happy for you. Lucas, that's great news. Give me hugs.
Brady: Yeah, congratulations.
Sami: Sister Theresa means a lot to me, you know. It's all about family and tradition and prayers and Christmas.
Rafe: Well, like I said, you can pray right here.
Sami: What do you thin I've been doing?
Rafe: Right. Okay. Well, uh, I'm all sweaty. I'm gonna go take a shower.
Rafe: You're, uh, not gonna try and sneak out on me this time, are ya?
Sami: [Chuckles] Wouldn't dream of it. [Chuckles]
E.J.: Do you know what you're like? You're like a broken record. Every single time you sense that I'm not quite ready to commit with Nicole or whatever it is you perceive it to be -- which is none of your business by the way -- you just randomly bring up Samantha's name.
Stefano: What's random? I mean, she's a part of your life. She always will be.
E.J.: I have nothing and want nothing whatsoever to do with Samantha.
Stefano: Mm. I highly doubt that, okay? She is the mother of your child. You cannot just simply make believe that she does not exist.
E.J.: I can certainly try.
Stefano: All right. How about when she return? I mean -- and eventually she will come back, right? Are you going to be afraid because of a reaction when she finds out that -- if she finds out -- that Nicole is the stepmother of her boy?
E.J.: I'm not afraid of anything. The only thing that bothers me is you interfering in my life. So, how about we just drop this for the time being? Because I need to call Nicole. Thank you.
Stefano: I'll leave you alone.
E.J.: Thank you.
Nicole: Wow, this ring is so gorgeous. It would have been a shame if it got lost in the bottom of that filthy river.
Chloe: Yeah, tell me about it.
Nicole: Hey, I have a great idea. Why don't you guys go get us some drinks?
Lucas: Drinks for this table? He's a recovering addict. I'm a recovering alcoholic. You're pregnant, right? And Chloe's got to be in the O.R. by 6:00.
Nicole: Aren't you a barrel of laughs? Okay, then, get us some soda's, then, okay? And we can get crazy with that.
Lucas: Sound good, honey?
Brady: [Clears throat] So, Chloe is donating her bone marrow to Kate tomorrow?
Lucas: Yeah, she is.
Brady: I assume that procedure is safe.
Lucas: I think it's still experimental, but the doctors know what they're doing. They're all top of their field. You know, it should be fine.
Lucas: You know, if you're thinking about bringing Chloe some get-well flowers when she's in the hospital, you might want to rethink that.
Nicole: What is this, like five carats?
Chloe: It's two, actually.
Nicole: Oh, you must be so excited.
Chloe: How are things going with you?
Chloe: You feel okay?
Nicole: Yeah, yeah. Never felt better.
Chloe: Huh. Why don't I believe you?
Rafe: But you don't cook.
Sami: I bake. Big difference.
Rafe: Oh. Holding out on my, huh, Betty Crocker?
Sami: Yeah, well, you know, I decided with the twins that I wanted to be the best mom I could be, and so I wanted to learn how to make stuff, you know, from scratch, homemade. And, um, Stefano had hired this butler, and John kept him, and he was really good at baking and cooking and stuff. He made this killer strudel -- I miss it -- and lemon tarts and everything. Anyway, I asked him to teach me how, a so he did, and we learned to make every kind of cookie imaginable.
Rafe: Well, it sounds to me like I'm gonna have to send this butler guy a thank-you note.
Sami: [Chuckles] When I was a kid, my twin brother and I -- Eric -- we would go to Alice Horton's house for every Christmas, and we would do this traditional decorating of the tree with the gingerbread men and popcorn strands and cranberries and the whole thing.
Rafe: Traditional Christmas, huh?
Sami: Christmas. And to think, I didn't even want to hear you say the word.
Rafe: Well, it's hard not to get in the spirit, isn't it?
Sami: Well, Hilda made a good point. She said I'm definitely gonna be with my family next Christmas, and it's gonna be this little one's first Christmas, so I have a lot to look forward to. So I realized I have to make the best of it. And I wanted to do something nice...for you, so, um, here. Merry Christmas.
Roman: Okay, we won't be disturbed in here. What's going on?
E.J.: I need to talk to Samantha.
Roman: E.J., come on. You know she's in witness protection.
E.J.: I know exactly where she is, okay? It's something I wouldn't ask for if it wasn't important, urgent even.
Roman: Is it about the health or safety of one of the kids?
E.J.: No, the kids are fine.
Roman: Then forget it.
E.J.: Look...what's stopping you, hmm? Your rules and your protocol? I'm quite sure you can set up one phone call that is completely untraceable.
Roman: Not gonna happen.
E.J.: Look...if you don't want to do this for me, that's fine. Do this for Samantha. Do this for your daughter.
Chelsea: So, when you are ready to open it...it will be right here by the phone. And if you're never ready to open it, that's fine, too. Okay?
Max: All right.
Chelsea: I'm gonna get going.
Max: Chelse. Can you stay?
Nicole: Why are you looking at me like that? And where are our sodas?
Chloe: What's going on with you, Nicole?
Nicole: Nothing. I'm fine. It's just, you know, Brady can be a downer sometimes.
Chloe: What are you doing with Brady anyway?
Nicole: Oh, we didn't come here together. We just ran into each other.
Chloe: Oh. Um, you just don't seem like you're acting like yourself. Did something happen with you and Brady?
Nicole: Me and Brady? Why would you ask that?
Brady: Lucas, you can stop marking your territory, okay? If Chloe is happy with you, I'm happy for her.
Lucas: You keep telling yourself that, you might just believe it.
Chloe: It's just odd that you would both come here. I mean, you're pregnant, and Brady's been in rehab. Why would you both end up at a bar?
Nicole: It's just a coincidence, I guess.
Chloe: I just hope...
Chloe: Well, I hope he's not slipping, you know?
Nicole: Why would you say that?
Chloe: Well, this place used to be kind of shady.
Nicole: So what? Come on, out with it, Chloe. You don't -- you don't think he's trying to score.
Chloe: I hope not, but I'm just worried. That's all. I mean, I was around him when he was using. I just hope not.
Nicole: Yeah, I hope not, too.
Chloe: Well, on to happier topics. Uh, oh. Isn't it great having Sami out of the picture?
Nicole: Oh, heaven.
Chloe: Well, not so much for Allie. She real misses her mom. But I have to say that Lucas and I have been loving life. Ah, the peace and quiet, no hysterical phone calls. And kids aside, I really kind of hope that Sami will soon be nothing more than a distant memory.
Roman: You're telling me that I'd be doing this for Sami.
E.J.: Roman, what I have to say is going to profoundly affect Samantha's future. It's something that she needs to hear from me.
Roman: All right, okay, but I listen in on the conversation -- every single word -- or the answer is no. Take it or leave it.
Chloe: Here's to a bright future for all of us... filled with joy and laughter.
Nicole: Yay, hear, hear. Um...would you all excuse me for a minute? I just need to use the ladies' room. Pregnant.
Brady: [Clears throat] So, Chloe, what you are doing for Kate is extremely generous. That's very brave.
Chloe: Like I told Lucas, I'm doing this for myself, too.
Lucas: Yeah, she refuses to accept praise, so I've given up.
Brady: Well, I think you're extremely brave. You always were.
Chloe: Thank you. Well, this is nice, isn't it, that we can all be friends? It's very civilized.
Brick: Hey, Nicole, you're still here.
Nicole: Hey, Brick. Um...I was wondering if you could do me a favor.
Brick: Anything for you, baby.
Nicole: Uh, are you still hooked up with Rollins?
Brick: The dealer?
Nicole: Yeah. I was wondering if you could score me some coke.
Brick: So, uh, no booze. Just the, uh, candy cane?
Nicole: It s just one hit, and it's not for me. It's for a friend. So just...tell me how much.
Brick: I'll see what I can do.
Nicole: Okay, but make sure it's the good stuff -- 100%.
Brick: Yeah, you got it.
Sami: A pickle. Why is there a pickle on our Christmas tree?
Rafe: Ah, that Hilda. Yeah, she must have.
Sami: Come on. You can't blame Hilda.
Rafe: Yeah, 'cause she was actually telling me that in Germany, there's a tradition. They put the pickle on the tree, and then whoever finds it first gets luck for a whole year.
Sami: I don't believe in that.
Rafe: What? Wait. You believe in the magic of mistletoe, don't you?
Sami: I guess.
Rafe: And you love pickles, so why not go with it? You believe in the magic of the pickle.
Sami: [Laughs] What? You know what is really magical to me? You -- agent by the book -- standing here trying to convince me of the magic of pickles.
Sami: I'm sorry, Rafe.
Rafe: For what?
Sami: Well, I guess I just realized, you know, it's been all about me this whole time. I've been complaining and ranting to you about how much I miss my family and what my family does at Christmas and we haven't talked about you. Obviously, you must be missing your family right now.
Rafe: I'm okay.
Sami: Well, you're the one who brought up mistletoe. Is there someone special you'd rather be celebrating with?
Rafe: Don't worry about it.
E.J.: No. This is between Samantha and me. Thank you. We have some unfinished business, and, frankly, it's...
Roman: Frankly what?
E.J.: It's personal.
Roman: If it's too personal to discuss in front of me, then put it in your diary because you won't be talking to Sami about it.
E.J.: A right. I agree to your terms, all of them. Now, can you please call Samantha?
Chelsea: It's a toy dog.
Max: Yeah, it's mine. Was mine.
Max: Night, Charlie. Sleep tight. Roof! Roof! Roof! Roof!
Trent: What's going on in here?
Trent: You're supposed to be asleep. Give me that.
Trent: "No"? You're telling your father no? Who do you think you are, you little swine?
Max: Please, Daddy, Charlie helps me sleep.
Trent: Oh, he does, does he? Is that why you're still wide awake and making all that noise? Now give me the damn dog, Max. Give me that. Give me the dog!
Max: Charlie! Charlie!
Trent: You're gonna have to learn to live without toys.
Max: It's Charlie. He was my best buddy. He helped me, uh...fall asleep. And then one night, my Dad... Trent... took him away from me.
Chelsea: I'm sorry, Max. I shouldn't have made you open it.
Max: No, it's fine. I, um... I just wasn't expecting this.
Chelsea: There's something else in here.
Roman: My gut is telling me not to do this.
E.J.: Roman, I just agreed to all of your terms, not to mention the fact that I'm the father of Samantha's son. I also just saved her life from a hit man.
Roman: All right, E.J., E.J., I don't need to hear your résumé, okay? I'm just trying to make the right decision for my daughter. Okay. I guess I owe you a phone call.
E.J.: Thank you.
Roman: But I'll say this just once -- you say anything remotely wrong or suspicious, I will cut you off. Understood?
E.J.: Got it.
Nicole: Four non-alcoholic drinks.
Lucas: Well, actually, we got to go. We told my mom we'd drop by the hospital tonight. You got to get up early.
Chloe: Yeah, that's right.
Nicole: Well, Chloe, you know, what you're doing is so amazing, you know, giving the gift of life.
Chloe: Hey, that's what you're doing, too. Gift of life, right?
Nicole: Yeah, I am.
Brady: Well, my thoughts will be with you tomorrow. Take care.
Chloe: Thank you.
Brady: And with your mom as well.
Lucas: Yeah, of course.
Chloe: Okay, so, I'll call you when I get home, all right? Bye.
Nicole: Um, I'll be waiting for that phone call.
Brady: Okay. Nicole, it's truth time.
Nicole: Ah, gosh.
Nicole: You know, Dr. Baker said I'd be getting these -- these cramps for a while.
Brady: Yeah, well, maybe you should get off your feet.
Nicole: You know what I could really use is some aspirin. Would you mind getting me some?
Brady: Uh, sure. I'll be right back.
Max: "I'm sorry." [Sighs] [Sniffles] [Sighs] [Clears throat]
Chloe: You know, I'm really glad that you talked Daniel out of having me check in the hospital tonight.
Lucas: Really? Why is that?
Chloe: Like you need to ask. Well, you know, after my surgery, we may not be able to, well, you know. I mean, at least for a while.
Lucas: To what? I don't know what you mean, really.
Chloe: Yeah, right.
Lucas: No, I don't. I have no idea. I think for me to truly understand this, you're gonna have to, uh, show me.
Chloe: Oh, really uh, show you? What, here at the park?
Lucas: Don't be scared. I don't see anyone else around. Come on.
Chloe: You're so bad.
Lucas: That's right.
Sami: That's it? That's your best answer? "Don't worry about it"?
Rafe: I don't remember the question.
Sami: Oh, no. Short-term memory loss at your age? Not good.
Rafe: You know, these cookies are great, but the one thing they need -- some milk.
Sami: Listen, you know everything about my life -- more than you want to probably. And I don't know anything about you.
Rafe: I'm your bodyguard. That's the way it should be.
Sami: Okay. Sorry. Um, point taken. Ow! Ohh!
Sami: I pricked my fin-- my finger. Ouch.
Rafe: Let me see it.
Sami: No, it's fine.
Rafe: Let me see it. Ooh. Think you're gonna live.
Sami: [Clears throat] Thank you.
Rafe: Apply pressure.
Roman: Yeah, Roman Brady here. I'm calling to speak with Sami.
Rafe: Yes, sir, but --
Roman: It's okay. I cleared it with your supervisor at the FBI. put her on.
Rafe: It's your father.
Sami: Daddy, is -- is something wrong with Allie or Johnny?
Roman: The twins are fine, honey. Everybody's fine. It's good to hear your voice.
Sami: You too. I miss you so much.
Roman: Are you all right?
Sami: Yeah, yeah, I'm okay. We're getting along. Um, why are you calling? Does it have to do with will or something?
Roman: No, no, Will's fine, too. But I do have somebody here who, uh, wants to speak with you, so hang on a minute.
E.J.: Hello, Samantha.
Brady: Here you go.
Nicole: Oh. Thanks. You know, and just give me a minute and I'll finally be ready to face the music. Well, I paid for the these. May as well drink up.
Sami: There's something wrong. I can hear it in your voice.
E.J.: I'm calling to say goodbye.
Chloe: What's the problem?
Daniel: Can you come by the hospital? We'll talk about it when you get here.
Sami: Baby or not, this is Nicole we're talking about, and she is gonna screw up his life.
