John: Step aside, and maybe I'll let you live.
Man: Sorry, not into negotiations.
John: Neither am I.
Marlena: John! No, don't shoot. Don't shoot. Don't shoot!
John: Too late.
Maggie: How do you tell someone their son is being charged with murder?
Bo: It's a tough call, Maggie.
Maggie: Joshua was beside himself. And Jessica, she kept saying, "not Nick, not my Nick." Over and over again. They trusted me with their boy.
Hope: Maggie, don't.
Maggie: If only I paid closer attention.
Hope: Maggie. Maggie.
Chelsea: None of us saw this coming.
Maggie: [Crying] Oh, I just pray -- I pray that Mickey can get him a light sentence.
Chelsea: Well, Dad, isn't there still a chance that nick could get off? I mean, what if he were to plead temporary insanity or self-defense? I mean, we all know that Trent Robbins was a monster.
Hope: It would have been so much easier if Nick had come forward right away.
Bo: But his behavior after he did what he did...
Chelsea: So it's not looking good. That's what you're saying.
Brady: Hey, you two.
Lucas: Big Brady.
Brady: Lucas. How you doing, man? Good to see you.
Lucas: Yeah, good to see you, too. Chloe told me you were back in Salem.
Brady: News travels fast.
Lucas: Yeah, it does. It does. And, uh, Chloe and I share everything, so whatever you tell her, she's eventually --
Brady: Yeah. No, no, no. I get the idea.
Chloe: Hey, uh, would you like to join us?
Brady: Yeah, sure, actually, if it's okay.
Lucas: Yeah, it's okay with me.
Chloe: Of course it is.
Lucas: Sit down. Chloe told me about your good news, you know, that you've been clean for about a year now.
Lucas: Good. Good for you. Did she tell you about ours?
Kate: What is the holdup? I am dying to get out of here. Oh, no, I suppose that is a poor choice of words, isn't it?
Kate: What? Oh, God, don't -- don't look so serious. Please? I'm being released. That's a good thing, isn't it?
Daniel: I can't let you go. Not yet.
Nicole: [Groans] Okay. Oh, God. The front desk. The front desk. Okay. [Breathes deeply] Oh, please answer. Please answer. Oh. [Groans] Damn it. Oh. [Exhales deeply] Okay, you're fine. You're fine. Everything's gonna be fine. Oh, God! [Crying] Oh, my God. [Sobbing]
Marlena: John, don't do it. Don't shoot.
John: Doc! [Gunshot]
E.J.: What exactly is the objective here? I don't think I understand. Father. Hey.
Stefano: Oh. Ah.
E.J.: Look, these documents, not only are they confusing and boring, but they don't offer me any insight into what my job is supposed to be.
Stefano: For this, you interrupt Pavarotti singing "Nessun Dorma"?
E.J.: Look, did you hire me to help your company stay within the bounds of the law or to flout it without being caught?
Stefano: Why, the former, of course. Now, look, son... [Sighs] ...If you have such concerns about the morals and the ethics of my business, why did you not inquire about it before you took the position?
E.J.: You know why. Because of Nicole.
Nicole: Oh, come on, E.J., pick up. Ohh! Okay. He's on his way. He's probably on his way. Ohh. Oh, God! [Groans] [Crying] Who else can I call? Oh. Chloe. Chloe. What's her number? Oh, my cellphone. My cell-- [Groans] Where's my cellphone? Where's my phone? [Crying] Oh, God! [Breathes deeply] Oh, Brady. Brady. [Crying]
Brady: So, what's your, uh, big news?
Lucas: I bought a house for Chloe, me, and Allie. We're gonna live there together as a family, aren't we?
Brady: Mm. That's great. Congratulations to you.
Chloe: Um, Lucas' mom is joining us any minute, by the way.
Brady: Oh, um, I'm sorry. Okay, I'll go.
Chloe: No, no, it's not that. It's just that when she gets here, it's gonna be a celebration.
Brady: Oh, what? Uh, the purchase of the new home or --
Chloe: No, no. Actually, it's for Kate. She's being released from the hospital today. She has cancer.
Brady: Oh, my -- oh, my God. Lucas, I had no idea your mother was ill.
Lucas: That's all right. Prognosis is good. First round of chemo really worked, so we'll see.
Brady: Oh, good. That's -- that's great. It's got to be wonderful having the support of Chloe, too, our survivor.
Brady: Excuse me. Hello?
Nicole: [Crying] Oh, Brady, thank God.
Nicole: I'm so sorry to bother you. I-I lost my cellphone and --
Brady: Slow down.
Nicole: I just -- I didn't know who else to call, and -- ow!
Brady: W-what is it? Where are you?
Nicole: I'm in a lodge in the middle of nowhere.
Brady: Where's E.J.?
Nicole: He's -- he's on a plane. He's going to Argentina, and I just -- I need your help right now.
Brady: Is it the baby?
Nicole: Yes. Yes, something's wrong, and I don't know what to do. Please.
Brady: Okay, listen. Listen, calm down. I need to know exactly where you are right now.
Nicole: I'm -- I'm at the lodge at Holland Hills. It's -- it's just North of Brookville.
Brady: I know the place. Hang in there. I'll be there, okay?
Nicole: Hurry, please, Brady.
Lucas: Hey, good seeing you, man. Thanks for stopping by. Anytime. What is up with that guy? Can you believe him?
Chloe: Actually, I couldn't believe you.
Lucas: Me? What'd I do?
Chloe: So jealous and so ridiculously obvious about it.
Lucas: I was not jealous of Brady. Give me a break, all right? [Chuckles] Slightly? A little jealous, maybe?
Chloe: Yeah. Yeah, exactly. You know what? You don't have anything to worry about. Brady is my past, okay? You're my future.
Lucas: Yeah? All right.
Chelsea: I'm gonna go see him. I'm gonna go now.
Bo: Hey, kid, uh, not a good idea.
Chelsea: Why? He can have visitors, can't he?
Bo: Yeah, but, uh...
Chelsea: But what? He needs his friends right now. Can you imagine how lonely he must be?
Hope: I'm sure nick is terribly lonely and upset. But right now, what he needs most is psychiatric help.
Chelsea: He's not crazy.
Bo: No, that's not what we're -- look, the reality is that not too long ago, you were the one he was obsessed with, same as he is with Melanie.
Chelsea: Nick and I were in a relationship. We loved each other. He was my first love. Feelings like that, they -- they never really go away.
John: Blondie, are you okay? Are you all right?
Marlena: I'm all right. I'm okay. He's gone. What the hell were you thinking, woman?!
Chelsea: Nick was always so sweet to me. And loyal. And I just feel like maybe if I hadn't been so selfish, if I hadn't broken his heart --
Maggie: Sweetheart, we're all wondering how we could have made different choices, how we could have kept this from happening.
Chelsea: Okay, so what do we do now that it has?
Hope: We find a way to help him.
Chelsea: How? How am I supposed to help him if you won't let me go see him?
Bo: This isn't the right time, kid. Hey, I heard that Kate's getting out of the hospital. They're gonna have a little celebration here. So, why don't you go up and join it, get your mind off this, okay?
Bo: Hey, kid. You are a good friend. Nick knows that.
Maggie: She has such a soft heart.
Hope: She's had a lot to deal with the past few months.
Maggie: Yeah. I should be going. I want to stop by Mickey's office and see how he's doing with Nick's defense.
Hope: If you see Nick, give him our best, okay?
Bo: You take care.
Maggie: Of course. Thanks. Thank you.
Bo: This has been rough on you, too. I'm sorry.
Hope: How did it turn out like this? Why?
Kate: What do you mean that you can't let me go? I'm released.
Daniel: Oh, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have put it that way. What I meant was... was that I can't let you go if you're gonna go back to your old routine -- 80-hour work weeks, out to dinner every night. You are gonna have to cut way back.
Kate: Okay, I will. After the holidays.
Daniel: No, no. Just because we're releasing you doesn't mean --
Kate: I-I'm not cured. I know that. Believe me, I know that. I have a long way to go. I have more chemotherapy. I have more tests. You've made that abundantly clear.
Daniel: I'm sorry if I've --
Kate: No, it's okay. I know you care. I appreciate that. But as far as pulling back, you're not gonna find me sitting around my home in my PJs. That is just not gonna happen. I don't need to remind you that professional athletes have played near the top of their game while they're undergoing cancer treatment.
Daniel: I'm not sure you're a professional athlete.
Kate: You know, three to four miles a day on my treadmill before all this happened, so...
Daniel: Okay, you have made progress. And this last run of chemo, it shrunk the cancer. It shrunk the tumor. And that is great. But we are dealing with a very aggressive form of cancer, which means you need to get some rest. And the more you rest, the better off you are going to be.
Kate: Okay, I'll rest when I'm in Ibiza.
Kate: I booked a flight this morning. So I'm sure when I get back, I'll feel refreshed.
Daniel: No, you can't go to Ibiza. I shouldn't even let you go anyplace else. You could compromise your immune system. Are you listening to me?
Kate: Stop! Enough, enough, okay? No more medical talk. You're the one who told me not to let this disease define me, and I'm not. I'm gonna work and I'm gonna travel and I'm gonna spend time with my children, okay? I'm gonna live every moment of my life to the fullest. And you are going to have to back off.
Kate: Back off! Back off! Ba--
John: That man was going to kill you, and you enabled him to get away.
Marlena: He didn't have a gun, John.
John: How do you know that? Did you strip-search him? What was he after?
Marlena: He was after Sami. That's the man, John, the man she saw kill the mayor.
John: Did you tell him where she is?
Marlena: I didn't know where she was! Look, we were this close to apprehending him and getting Sami home. And now he's out there on the loose again with even more incentive to try to get her, thanks to you.
Nicole: Oh, God. Thank God you came.
Brady: Oh, God. Oh, God. You look pale. You look pale. What's going on with the pains?
Nicole: They come and go, and right now they're g-- ah!
Brady: Whoa, just sit down. Sit down. It's okay. Sit down.
Nicole: [Crying] Oh, God. Brady, this feels so bad.
Brady: Okay, um, do you have any other symptoms? All right, we need to get you to a doctor, like, now.
Nicole: The closest hospital is in Brookville, and maybe I just need to rest for a minute.
Brady: No. No. We need to get you to a hospital.
Nicole: No, I don't -- I don't want to sit in a car right now. I just -- I just want to sit here, and I just want to calm down.
Nicole: [Crying] Thank you for coming. I didn't want to be alone. Oh, poor E.J. If he knew how I was feeling right now -- and he's 30,000 feet in the air and no way of knowing. Would you stay with me, please?
Brady: No. Nicole, I'm sorry. I can't.
Daniel: Fine. If you want me to back off...
Kate: You have no choice.
Daniel: No, I guess I don't.
Daniel: W-what I'm trying to say is I respect your need to live life to the fullest.
Kate: Isn't that the way everyone should be living their life, Daniel?
Daniel: Definitely. But I'm only --
Kate: No, don't qualify it. Don't qualify it. I am going to take care of myself. But I am not going to be told if I can travel or if I can work or if, more importantly, I can spend time with my family. I know that you don't want to lose me. I understand that concern. But I don't want to waste whatever time I may have left.
Daniel: I understand.
Kate: And part of the way that I want to embrace life is by being with you.
E.J.: When I was with Samantha, I was constantly trying to convince her that I'd changed, that I had scruples, that I had morals and -- sorry. I don't know why I'm talking about her.
Stefano: I was wondering about that myself.
E.J.: You know what the great thing about Nicole is? She accepts me unconditionally. She doesn't care how successful I am. She doesn't care how much money I make.
Stefano: Are you certain about that?
E.J.: Absolutely. Absolutely. The thing that is most important to her is that I'm loyal to her. That and, obviously, that I'm a good father. That's the most important thing, maybe.
Stefano: And that, my son, is precisely the purpose of this journey, hmm, so that you can appreciate our -- how can I put it? -- Um, hidden assets in South America, assets that one day your children are going to inherit.
E.J.: Look, I'm not stupid, okay? I know that businesses don't always subscribe to a very strict moral code. So, as long as I am not required to do anything...unsavory, then I'm very happy to be your legal representative in Argentina or anywhere else in the world, for that matter -- for my family.
Stefano: Your growing family.
E.J.: [Chuckles] And, look, I know I was hesitant at first. I admit that. But in the interest of my children's future, I'm very happy to accept this new responsibility.
Nicole: What do you mean, you're not staying?
Brady: I meant us. We are not staying here. We're gonna take you to the hospital.
Nicole: No, no. Please, Brady, I --
Brady: No, listen, lying here and hoping that things are gonna get better is not gonna help --
Nicole: Oh, God!
Brady: Nicole? Nicole, please. Come on, we have to get you out of here, okay? We got to g-- oh, God.
Nicole: What's wrong? [Sobbing] Oh, my God! Oh, my God. I'm bleeding, Brady!
Brady: It's gonna be okay.
Nicole: What's happening?! Make it stop!
Brady: You're gonna be fine. We're gonna get you out of here. Come here. You're gonna be fine.
Nicole: Please don't let anything happen to my baby!
Hope: We need to have forensics dust for prints.
John: It's a waste of time. He was wearing gloves.
Bo: Did either of you get a look at his face?
Marlena: He was wearing a ski mask.
John: If Blondie had let me shoot him, you'd have got a damn good look at his face.
Marlena: If I had let you shoot him? What, are you chastising me now?
John: I'm just saying --
Marlena: I don't care what you say about this. There's a madman out there, trying to get my daughter and almost killed me. So why don't you just give me a break?
Bo: John, you didn't tell us why you're here.
John: Oh, I was selling girl scout cookies, rang the doorbell. The rest is history.
Bo: What's with the wise ass comments? We're dealing with an assassin here. People's lives are at stake -- Marlena's, Sami's.
John: I got a phone call. I looked at my phone. It was from Blondie. I picked it up, and the line went dead. I assumed maybe there was a problem.
Bo: So you jumped on your white horse and came to rescue her.
John: Now who's being the wise ass? If I had handled this my way, your assassin would be history.
Bo: Yeah. And a dead perp can tell us who he's working for.
Marlena: That's what I tried to tell him.
Bo: It's possible that this isn't the same guy Sami saw. We might have multiple assassins.
John: Well, I will let your finely tuned powers of deduction work on that. I just did was I was trained to do.
Bo: Yeah, without thinking.
Marlena: Why did you have to aim for his head?
John: I only shoot to kill.
Lucas: Hey, hey, she's here.
Lucas: They're here.
Kate: Hey, sweetie.
Lucas: How you doing?
Kate: I'm doing good.
Lucas: You look amazing. You look great.
Chelsea: You really do.
Chloe: I'm really glad you're here, Kate. Welcome back.
Kate: Thanks, Chloe.
Nurse: Just have a seat. All right. Here's a gown for you. I'll just put it there. And some insurance forms I'll need you to fill out. Excuse me.
Brady: How long are we gonna have to wait?
Nurse: Well, the doctor's with another patient. He'll be here as soon as he can.
Brady: Does that mean 10 minutes? Does that mean an hour or what?
Nurse: I can't answer that, sir.
Brady: Okay, well, listen, anything you can do to expedite this would be very helpful.
Nicole: Maybe we should just go back to Salem. I'm sure I can get in at university.
Nurse: What you need to do is stay put. Now, we've got some tests to run before the doctor gets here anyway. Let's check your baby's heart rate. [Heartbeat]
Nicole: T-that's good, right? M-my baby's okay.
Bo: We're finished for now, but don't disturb anything. Forensics will show up shortly. We'll check out the hall, okay?
John: Another waste of time.
Bo: If we find out anything, we'll be in touch.
John: What are you doing here anyway, Beauregard? Or should I say commissioner? Shouldn't you be back at the station with your feet up on a desk?
Bo: Shouldn't you be out selling girl scout cookies?
John: Oh, do I detect a little defensiveness?
Bo: The Salem P.D. can track down the mayor's killer without your help.
John: Yes, and you're doing one hell of a job.
Bo: I find it ironic that you showed up at the scene of a crime.
John: Oh, does that make me a suspect now?
Marlena: You're just inciting him further.
Hope: I think we should wrap this up.
Marlena: That's a good idea. Thanks for coming.
Hope: Be careful, okay?
Marlena: Yes, I'll be fine.
Bo: I'll place an officer outside the door so you feel more comfortable.
Marlena: I would appreciate that.
John: That's it, huh? That's all you're gonna do?
Bo: Well, I don't think our guy will show up and risk being at the wrong end of your gun again.
John: Well, then I guess it'll be up to me to protect the civilian.
Bo: You've done one hell of a job so far.
Marlena: Look, I just need some time alone with him, okay?
Hope: I don't think that's a very good idea.
Marlena: It's fine. I'll be fine.
Hope: We'll be right outside.
John: Make sure you crack the door.
Hope: We will.
John: Why do I get the feeling they don't trust me?
Marlena: This has to stop. What if the twins had been here tonight? What if Johnny had stumbled in here when your gun went off?
John: What are you doing?! Are you playing a game of "what if" with me?
Marlena: This isn't gonna work, John. You cannot be around these babies unless your behavior changes.
Stefano: Suffice it to say, I probably will always be a little disappointed that you and Samantha did not work out.
E.J.: Yet you wonder why I was talking about her just now.
Stefano: Because I know that it, uh, pains you, hmm? Because I know that there are still feelings there. Am I wrong?
E.J.: You're right. I don't want to talk about it.
Stefano: I only want you to be happy, Elvis.
E.J.: Excuse me. I'm just gonna get back to these documents.
Stefano: And I wonder if Nicole Walker can make that happen.
E.J.: You don't think she's good enough for me.
Stefano: [Chuckles] What father ever thinks that any woman is good enough for his son?
E.J.: Fathers often do. Arrogant egotists -- not so much.
Stefano: Ah, I pushed a button, huh?
E.J.: Look, Father, she's pregnant with my child, okay? A little bit of support would be appreciated.
Stefano: I only want the best for you, my son. You know that.
E.J.: Do me a favor and stop asking if Nicole is good enough for me, okay? Samantha is my past. Nicole, our child -- that's my future. Got it?
Brady: Look, um, I'm gonna try to give E.J. a call.
Nicole: I told you. He's on a plane.
Brady: We should at least leave a message, Nicole.
Nicole: Hopefully, this will all be over by the time he lands, whatever this is. Okay, just put your phone away?
Brady: Okay. What were you doing up at the lodge by yourself anyway?
Nicole: It was supposed to be a romantic weekend getaway that E.J. planned. And last minute, Stefano dragged him away on a business trip. Talk about lousy timing, huh?
[Monitor beeping rapidly]
Nicole: What's going on?
Brady: I don't know. I don't know. Nurse. Nurse.
Nicole: What's happening? Where's my baby's heartbeat?
Nurse: Just try to stay calm.
Nicole: Aah! Ohh!
Nurse: We need Dr. Baker.
Nicole: Oh! Oh, my God! Am I losing my baby?!
Kate: Mmm. That was positively decadent.
Lucas: Get yourself another piece.
Kate: I don't think so. You'll have to roll me out of here.
Chloe: We can just take that piece home to Allie.
Lucas: We could. She loves sweets, just like her daddy.
Kate: Aw. It was such a shame that she couldn't be here.
Daniel: Lucas said she has a cold.
Kate: Well, I know. But one little hug wouldn't hurt, right? Daniel's worried about my immune system. How boring is that? If Allie's feeling better tomorrow, I think I'll stop by and see her on the way to work.
Lucas: Work? [Cellphone beeping]
Kate: I'm only kidding.
Chelsea: Philip just texted me. The plane just took off from Chicago.
Kate: Okay, so that means at least another hour, right?
Chelsea: Yeah. So in that case, how about another round?
Daniel: Yeah, why don't I go help?
Lucas: Maybe you can give them a hand, Chloe.
Chloe: Real subtle.
Kate: Why do I feel a lecture coming on?
Lucas: Because you have to take it easy, that's why.
Kate: Did you really think I was serious about going to work tomorrow?
Lucas: I don't know, Mom, were you?
Kate: [Exhales deeply] It's not gonna hurt if I stop by and pick up a few things I need. There's no harm in that.
Lucas: Now, Mom, when you gave me control of the business, I thought it was because you trusted me.
Kate: I do trust you, all right? I just need things to get back to normal. What am I gonna do, spend all my time at home, watching TV? I need to keep busy. And work -- it distracts me, just like my sons. I can't tell you how good it makes me feel to see my children happy.
Daniel: Look, I heard about Nick. I'm really sorry, Chelsea.
Chelsea: It's kind of ironic, isn't it? I break his heart to be with you, and then you turn around and do the same thing to me.
Daniel: I thought we were past that.
Chelsea: Evidently not.
Dr. Baker: It's what we call pre-term labor. Your blood pressure was elevated, and the bleeding was caused by a deteriorating placenta.
Nicole: Just tell me how serious it is.
Dr. Baker: Well, we're gonna give you an I.V. of magnesium sulfate, which should lower the pressure and stop the contractions. But I have to warn you. There are side effects.
Nicole: I don't care. Just do what you have to.
Nicole: What happens if it doesn't work? What -- what happens if I have to give birth to this baby today?
Dr. Baker: At this stage of the pregnancy, the fetus isn't viable outside the womb.
Nicole: Well... what happens if you have to choose between me and my baby?
Dr. Baker: That's not how it works.
Nicole: No, I mean it. If there's one thing I'm gonna do right in this world is I'm gonna give this baby a good life. [Crying]
Dr. Baker: Try to calm her down.
Nicole: [Crying] Oh, God! Tell me this isn't happening! Please, God, tell me -- tell me I'm gonna wake up. Please.
Nicole: No, I have to stop the contractions!
Brady: Please look at me. Please. Listen. Listen. Listen. Listen. Listen. I know how much this baby means to you, but the best thing you can do right now is to just breathe and to just relax. You need to think about how much you love this little baby and how much you love E.J. okay?
Chloe: You okay?
Daniel: Why wouldn't I be?
Chloe: Well, I couldn't help but notice you and Chelsea earlier. Don't worry about it. She's just being a drama queen.
Daniel: Is that all it is?
Chloe: Yeah. I should know. I kind of have a history of that myself.
Daniel: You a drama queen? Maybe onstage.
Chloe: Hmm. You really don't know me very well, do you?
Daniel: No, I don't.
Chloe: Well, um, I think there's plenty of time for that. After all, we practically are family, right?
[Door opens and closes]
Kate: I read about Nick's arrest in the paper. Have you been able to see him?
Chelsea: Um, no. My Dad and Hope don't think that it's really a good time.
Kate: Well, I'm glad you came to this little celebration.
Chelsea: Me too.
Kate: I guess I'm going to need a box for this piece of cake.
Chelsea: Grandma, um, I'm sorry if I've ever... I want you to know that I think -- I know that you're a really great person. And I respect you a ton.
Kate: I feel the same way about you. I know that you've told me many times that you have difficulty forgiving people because that's part of your character. That's who you are. But as someone who loves you, I don't want you to think of yourself that way anymore. I don't want you to continue with the anger and blaming people. 'Cause life's too short.
Hope: Did you find anything?
Bo: No, I'm thinking John is right. We're wasting our time here.
Bo: Our suspect has gone underground. We'd be lucky to solve this damn case.
Hope: This is about more than the case, isn't it?
Hope: It's about John, Marlena, Sami, Nick. You've been going 24/7 for the last few weeks. You need to step back and take a break.
Bo: Not now.
Hope: Yes, right now. When was the last time you had a healthy meal?
Bo: Last night. I had --
Hope: Last night, you had cheese corn and soda. That's not what you call a healthy meal.
Bo: What are you talking about? You got your veggies, your dairy.
Hope: Nice try. I'm taking you for a healthy lunch right now. Let's go.
Bo: I can't.
Hope: You can't?
Hope: You're the boss. You can do whatever you want to do. And I'm your boss. Let's go.
Bo: Whatever I want?
Hope: At home. Let's go.
John: I go out of my way to help you and your daughter, and this is the thanks that I get.
Marlena: I appreciate that, John. And I know that it comes from the right place. But you frighten me. You nearly killed a man in this living room today. You need help.
John: Oh, come on. Not the shrink thing again. How many times have we been over this?
Marlena: What are you so afraid of?
John: Well, unfortunately, I'm not afraid of anything.
Marlena: Look, I don't want it to come to this, but if you don't get some help, you will no longer be a part of my life or my family's, not now, not ever.
Stefano: Let's call a truce, shall we?
E.J.: Um, thank you, but no. Thank you.
E.J.: I'm not drinking. I'm not drinking while Nicole's pregnant.
Stefano: Hmm. Admirable, but [Laughs] a little bit of a stretch, I must say. You really do care for her, don't you?
E.J.: Why would you ask me that? I've told you that I care about her. So why would you keep questioning it?
Stefano: Fine. No more questions.
E.J.: You sure? You don't want to ask me if I care about Nicole one last time?
Stefano: Family is of the utmost importance, Elvis. You know, I've missed a lot of things with my children and my grandchildren. But now, because of you and Nicole, I have been granted another chance. So, Elvis... thank you for a new beginning. [Sighs deeply]
Nicole: Did you know that Chloe's gonna throw me a baby shower?
Brady: Oh, yeah?
Nicole: Yeah. Sometime after the holiday. I registered at two places already. And I bought up half the stuff.
Brady: [Laughing] Really? That does not surprise me at all.
Nicole: Can you hand me my purse? This was my favorite thing. I was g-gonna show E.J. up at the lodge, but... [Sighs]
Brady: A locket.
Nicole: Mm-hmm. I, uh... I was gonna put the baby's first picture in it.
Brady: That's really sweet.
