Nick: Melanie!

Brady: Nicole.

Nicole: Oh, hi, Brady.

Brady: You sure that's -- that's a good idea?

Nicole: What, being pregnant?

Stefano: Busy, busy.

E.J.: Yeah, work's certainly picking up.

Stefano: Oh. As everything does. A new woman in your life, a new baby on the way.

E.J.: Lots of excitement.

Stefano: [Chuckles] You know, a little bit too much excitement there for a while -- Nicole being in prison and then the possibility that my future grandchild would be born behind bars.

E.J.: Well, now you can relax, Father, because Nicole has been released, soon to be cleared, one hopes, so all is well with the world.

Stefano: [Chuckles] A bit Pollyanna, wouldn't you say?

E.J.: I call it optimism. Is that jarring for you? Hmm? Is it unworldly of me to think that things might actually work out?

Stefano: No, no, no, no. I always was in favor of a positive attitude.

E.J.: Glad to hear it. If you'll excuse me, I have some work to do.

Stefano: As do I. I have some research I must do on the future DiMera heir.

E.J.: What exactly do you mean by that?

Stefano: Well, you know, gender, names, things like that. I mean, it's, uh, very important. Well, unfortunately, I cannot provide you with any information, because we've decided not to find out the sex of the baby in advance, so that obviously precludes me from giving you a name. Excuse me.

Stefano: Elvis, this is not acceptable.

E.J.: What's the problem, hmm? Is the suspense just killing you?

Stefano: I am not asking this out of idle curiosity, all right? I need my grandchild's name on these documents.

Nick: Melanie, hold on!

Melanie: [Screaming]

Melanie: [Screams]

Bo: I got you. Here, Melanie. Melanie, look at me. Look at me! Melanie!

Philip: Don't die, guys.

Bo: I got you. Look at me. Don't look down.

Nick: Melanie!

Hope: The Salem Airway Motel.

Bo: I got you. You're gonna be okay. You're gonna be all right.

Melanie: My hand is slipping.

Bo: It's okay. Hang on with both hands. I got you. I got you. I'm gonna pull -- Melanie, look at me! Look at me. It's gonna be fine. I'm gonna pull you up, all right?

Melanie: No! No!

Bo: Philip! Fire escape!

Philip: Hang on, Melanie! I'm coming up!

Stephanie: Philip, you can't. It's too high.

Philip: It's the only way.

Nick: I have to get to her.

Bo: It's gonna be all right. Philip's coming up the fire escape.

Nick: Melanie, don't worry. I'm here. I won't let you fall.

Hope: Look at me. Step back now.

Nick: [Breathing heavily]

Hope: Do it for Melanie. Come on, nick. Nick, come with me. Come on. It's okay. Come on. It's okay.

Bo: It's gonna be okay. You're all right. I got you. You're gonna be fine. I've got you.

Stephanie: Melanie, hang on!

Bo: It's gonna be all right. Philip's coming up the fire escape. I've got you. You're all right.

Stephanie: Philip, be careful!

Bo: I got you. Look at me. Philip, are you okay?

Melanie: It's slipping.

Bo: Hang on.

Abe: Thank you for coming, and thank you for your continued support.

Donna: Dr. Carver.

Lexie: Hi. I'm sorry. You are...

Donna: Oh, I'm sorry. Donna Farrell. We met at the hospital a few months ago. I lead the parent support group for autism.

Lexie: Yes. Yes. I remember. How are you?

Donna: I'm well, thank you. I remember seeing you at one or maybe two sessions, but you never came back. Gosh, I hope we didn't scare you off.

Lexie: No, no. Not at all. My schedule's just been so crazy. Whenever I have any extra time, I like to spend it with Theo.

Donna: Oh, I completely understand.

Abe: Hey, Donna, thank you for coming.

Donna: My pleasure.

Lexie: So, how do you two know each other?

Abe: Donna volunteers on our task force for environmental issues.

Lexie: Oh. Really? So you do that and you head up the parent support group?

Abe: And she has four children at home.

Donna: Well, life's a bit hectic.

Lexie: Wow.

Abe: Well, you know, my Mother always said that if you want to get something done, you give it to a busy person.

Donna: And I think there's some truth to that.

Abe: So, you said you were gonna recruit new volunteers?

Donna: Yes. I've done some research which suggests that the biggest obstacle to successful recruitment is speaking in generalities.

Abe: Yeah. And you want to get the people some details about what you would do, exactly.

Brady: What I meant was, um --

Nicole: I know. I know what you meant, Brady. You were wondering if working out is good for the baby, and the answer is yes. Healthy body, healthy baby.

Brady: Okay. New philosophy, right?

Nicole: Yeah. I mean, you don't take it easy anymore when you're with child, you know? You got to eat right and stay fit.

Brady: And no alcohol. I have heard that.

Nicole: Yeah, you're -- you're not totally behind the times.

Brady: It looks like we're both on the same path, huh? Abstinence from all things that are bad for us.

Nicole: Yeah. Who would have thought?

Brady: It's really -- it's really good to see you happy.

Nicole: Ow.

Brady: What? What's wrong?

E.J.: This is none of your damn business.

Stefano: On the contrary. It is very much my business. This is my grandchild. You know something? You call yourself a lawyer -- hmm? -- But you have not done a damn thing for this child's future. And just as doctors should not treat themselves, this needs an impartial third party.

E.J.: Right. That would be you, would it? Impartial, unbiased. What else is in here?

Stefano: Well, as it so happens, I am not unbiased. I have grown rather fond of Nicole, right? Her self-deprecating humor, her earthiness. And you know something? She's not too bad to look at. But the problem is she has a reputation.

E.J.: That's none of your business.

Stefano: It's none of my business? What do you care? Of course, you don't care. Because you are smitten. You are not thinking with your -- [Groans] you're not thinking with your head.

E.J.: What is this? What is that, hmm?! Let me read it to you. "This guarantees that you, as the child's grandparent, will have visitation rights in the event of an estrangement."

Stefano: Mm-hmm. Is that so outrageous?

E.J.: The whole thing is completely outrageous -- that you would just toss these documents in front of me and expect me to sign away my child's future.

Stefano: You insolent fool. I am trying to protect your rights as well as mine, hmm? Surely you would not want to keep my beloved grandchild from me, would you?

E.J.: You think that? Think again.

Melanie: [Crying] [Screams] I'm dropping! I'm dropping! I can't fall!

Philip: Hang on.

Bo: It's all right. I got you. Hang on.

Stephanie: Oh, my God.

Bo: We got you. We're gonna go to Philip. Hang on. Hold on. Philip! You got her?

Philip: I got her.

Bo: Here we go. Here we go. Got her?

Hope: Nick, freeze! Back up slowly. Slowly. Turn around. [Indistinct shouting in distance]

Hope: Nick Fallon... you're under arrest for the murder of Trent Robbins.

Donna: The next two months.

Abe: Great.

Chelsea: Lexie. Hey.

Lexie: Hi, Chelsea.

Chelsea: What's going on?

Lexie: Abe just had a press conference. So, what are you up to?

Chelsea: Oh, uh, I'm here for takeout. My -- Kate wanted some of Grandma Caroline's chowder. Oh, and it's so weird. I was gonna give this to you tomorrow when I saw you, when you drop Theo off, but since you're here now...

Lexie: Oh, well, thanks. I appreciate it.

Chelsea: I know you're probably inundated with a bunch of autism reading material, but there's an article in here that's really well-written.

Lexie: Wow. Fantastic.

Abe: Hey, Chelse.

Chelsea: Hey! Mayor Carver. How are you?

Abe: I'm doing well. It's good to see you.

Chelsea: You, too. Well, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go look for my grandma. But I'll see you and Theo tomorrow, right?

Lexie: Right.

Chelsea: Good.

Lexie: Bye.

Abe: Well, what did you think?

Lexie: Oh, um, I thought it went well. I mean, don't you?

Abe: You didn't have to come, Lex.

Lexie: Abe, I wanted to come. I-I don't know. I was -- I was just thinking.

Abe: What?

Lexie: I just don't know how these people do it.

Abe: What people? What are you talking about.

Lexie: Well, Donna, for instance. She's got four children, one who has autism, yet she still manages to head up the environmental committee and lead the parent support group. I mean, I have one little boy and I can barely get through the day. I mean, tomorrow, for instance.

Abe: Well, what about tomorrow?

Lexie: Okay. You ready?

Abe: Sure.

Lexie: All right. Let's see here. Okay. Here goes. 10:00 A.M. -- Drop Theo off for occupational, speech, and A.B.A. therapy. 11:00 -- surgery. Thyroidectomy. 2:30 -- pick Theo up, take him to the dentist. 3:30 -- take Theo home. Wait for Sarah. 4:30 -- tea with the ladies auxiliary. Shall I continue?

Abe: Whoa. That makes my head hurt just thinking about it.

Lexie: It's too much, Abe. I mean, I can't -- I can't possibly do it all. How am I supposed to do it all?

Nicole: Wow.

Brady: Okay. You just went from "ow" to "wow" in like three seconds.

Nicole: There it goes, moving to the other side.

Brady: What other side?

Nicole: It's the -- the baby. It kicks so hard. Hey, it surprises me every time. It's the strangest thing in the world.

Brady: Yeah. It's kind of hard for a guy to imagine it.

Nicole: It's hard for a woman to imagine it, too, until it happens. Uh, I'm -- I'm gonna go take a shower.

Brady: Nicole. I'm sorry. I just wanted to say to you that I hope I see you again. I was actually hoping that you, me, and E.J. -- We could all go out together sometime.

Nicole: Um, h-how long are you planning to stay in Salem?

Brady: Maybe permanently.

Nicole: Hmm.

Brady: What, you don't like that idea?

Nicole: Why would I care?

Stefano: Grandparents do have rights, you know?

E.J.: Would you just give it a rest, all right? My child has not even been born yet.

Stefano: Well, that's the reason why it has to be taken care of now.

E.J.: No, no. Don't you understand? This does not need to be taken care of -- ever.

Stefano: Oh, God. You know, sometimes when I talk to you, I feel as if I'm talking to a rebellious teenager instead of a man.

E.J.: Yeah, well, you're not gonna force my hand this time!

Stefano: Fine. You want me out of your life, I'm out! I'm gone, okay?! The hell with you.

E.J.: Wait! Just -- look, I --

Stefano: What? Spit it out.

E.J.: I... I know that you are motivated by love.

Stefano: Unlike you, huh? Motivated by anger, a sense of entitlement.

E.J.: Do not blame me for having trepidations about this, okay? Look at your own track record. Why do you think all of your beloved children keep you at arm's length?

Stefano: Hmm. Because they are ingrates.

E.J.: Right. Of course. It's because they're ingrates. Yeah. Yeah. Nothing you did. Obviously nothing you could have done -- no. They're just ungrateful, are they?

Stefano: I am trying to improve my relationships with my children. But since the effort is not reciprocated, I cannot control that.

E.J.: Nicole and I do not want our child legally bound to some dangerous and destructive relationship.

Stefano: You've been talking to her about that, have you?

E.J.: She knows how I feel, yeah.

Stefano: Okay. Where is the lovely mother-to-be? She should be here for dinner, no?

E.J.: She's at the gym.

Stefano: I see. Oh, well, then... [Chuckles] I'm sure that when she gets home she's going to be hungry, right? Why don't I go tell the chef to make a fantastic family feast for us?

E.J.: Because Nicole and I have dinner reservations at Chez Rouge tonight.

Stefano: Cancel them. We are going to have dinner together tonight. [Chuckles]

Bo: Hang on. Hold on. Philip, you got her?

Philip: I got her.

Bo: Here we go. You're gonna be okay. You're gonna be all right. Here we go. Up high. You all right?

Philip: It's okay. It's okay. It's okay. [Exhales deeply] [Siren wailing]

Stephanie: They're almost here!

Hope: You have the right to have an attorney present during questioning. If you can't afford an attorney, one will be appointed to you. Do you understand these rights? Nick, do you hear me?

Nick: I just -- I have to know that Melanie's safe. She has to be all right.

Bo: Philip's got her. She'll be fine.

Brady: Wow. The new you is devastatingly honest.

Nicole: Oh, did I hurt your feelings?

Brady: Oh, I'm shattered.

Nicole: I didn't mean to be so uncaring.

Brady: It's okay. Why should you care whether I stay or go? It's not like I'm a big part of your life anymore.

Nicole: But, still, I-I should be clear that I wish you the best.

Brady: I believe that.

Nicole: So, um, why did you decide to stay, for your father?

Brady: Not really. No, I mean, I want to get closer to him -- I do -- but I'm just not expecting a breakthrough anytime soon.

Nicole: Oh.

Brady: Why?

Nicole: Nothing, really. It's just --

Brady: Wait. You -- you thought because you told him to talk to me that we were gonna be fine and we had some big reconciliation? Well [Chuckles] No. You think you have a hell of a lot of power, don't you?

Stefano: All set. The chef has prepared a lovely family dinner for this evening. You, me, and Nicole. And I want Nicole to realize that she has nothing to fear when it comes to her child's grandfather.

E.J.: Meaning that as you didn't manage to work your charm on me, you're gonna try and work it on Nicole. Hmm? [Italian accent] "Oh, Nicole. You bring so much to my life. Elvis is such a lucky man. Ho ho ho!"

Stefano: [Chuckles] You know me very well, huh?

E.J.: [Chuckles] [Normal voice] Yeah. Yeah. Quite the feat, isn't it? Figuring out what you do, given how subtly you twirl that mustache of yours.

Stefano: Well, you joke all you want, Elvis DiMera. The fact is, you are my son -- hmm? -- Which gives you the insight that you have into me. And because we are so...deeply connected -- hmm? -- I'm going to offer you a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

E.J.: I'm afraid to ask.

Stefano: I want you to take the reins of the family business, form your own legacy for your own children. I want you to be my true heir.

Abe: You know, no wonder you're stressed. If I had a schedule like that --

Lexie: Don't humor me, Abe.

Abe: Humor you?

Lexie: Come on. You manage this whole town. I should be able to manage my little boy and my part-time job.

Abe: Lexie, what are you talking about? You're a doctor. Saving lives is your job. Now, don't dismiss the importance of that. You are needed at the hospital.

Lexie: Well, certainly more than I'm needed by Theo.

Abe: Is this about what happened at the park?

Lexie: I can't calm him down, Abe. My own little boy -- I can't calm him down. On the other hand, Chelsea just seems to have the magic touch.

Abe: You know, Theo acts out more around you because --

Lexie: I know what you're going to say. It's exactly what Kayla and Chelsea and all the books say. He acts out because I'm mom, it's safe. He's confident in my love. He can completely be himself when he's around me.

Abe: Right. You know what that means?

Lexie: Yeah, that I'm the last person in the world he wants to spend time with, that I annoy the hell out of him if I so much as say, "good morning."

Abe: That means you are a terrific mother. [Cellphone rings]

Chelsea: Steph, hey. Did you guys find Nick?

Stephanie: Yes.

Chelsea: Where are you?

Stephanie: Uh, the police station.

Chelsea: What?

Stephanie: You should come down here, Chelse -- now, if you can.

Chelsea: I'll be right there. Bye.

Nick: Yes. I killed Trent. But I did it to protect Melanie. It wasn't self-defense, but it was justifiable homicide, so you could plead it down to involuntary manslaughter and no time would be served.

Hope: You covered up a murder, Nick.

Bo: Innocent people were arrested for a crime you committed.

Nick: I know. And I feel terrible. But after what happened with Willow, I didn't think you would understand. I knew that Melanie wouldn't, either.

Bo: We know about the note you sent her.

Hope: She told us about the phone calls. Why would you do that to her? Nick, why would you torture her like that?

Nick: I needed her near me. You people hounded her so much, she wanted to leave Salem. I wanted her to stay here. I wanted to take care of her, keep her safe.

Bo: By forcing her to marry you?

Nick: She wanted to marry me.

Bo: She lied. Nick, you let her think she killed her father.

Nick: She went to the cemetery with a knife, Bo. She might have killed him if I hadn't come along.

Bo: You hear what you just said? In one breath, you say you love her. In the next, you throw her under the bus.

Hope: You could have gotten her killed tonight.

Nick: I was trying... to save her. Hope... you're my family. You know who I am. You know what I stand for. Won't you help me?

Hope: Of course I'll help you. But justice has to be served.

Nicole: What? I'm not all-powerful? Damn, that's disappointing.

Brady: I'll give you an "A" for effort, though.

Nicole: Listen, Brady, your father was already planning to work on your relationship. I just gave him a little nudge.

Brady: Well, I appreciate that you tried. I really do.

Nicole: Yeah, I, uh, I racked up a lot of bad karma when I was with you. Not to mention before and after. And -- and now that I'm on the mommy track, I'd like to earn some street cred, you know, for the baby's sake. Do some good deeds. I know I'm never gonna be a girl scout or anything --

Brady: Nicole, you're gonna be a great mom.

Nicole: I'm not so sure about "great," but I am gonna do everything I can. And I know that you're not a big fan of E.J.'s, but he's good to me and he's gonna take good care of me and this baby, not that I need taken care of.

Brady: No, you don't. You don't. But I, for one, know how difficult it can be to go at it alone. As far as the abstinence thing goes... if you ever, ever need someone to talk to -- a friend, support, even a sponsor -- Nicole... give me a call, okay?

Nicole: Thanks.

Brady: Congratulations again.

Stefano: Son... I am offering you the opportunity of a lifetime -- a position of counsel with DiMera shipping.

E.J.: Forget it.

Stefano: Then you are on your own.

E.J.: What does that mean?

Stefano: You're such a smart fellow. You can't figure it out, hmm? It means, Elvis, that the party is over. No more reaping rewards without making a contribution. No more free ride. You know, you should look around you here. Look. Look. Look at all this lovely beauty here. In fact, you and your family have been living in the lap of luxury.

E.J.: I see. I didn't realize it came with strings attached.

Stefano: [Chuckles] Everything in life comes with strings, Elvis. You should know that by now. So, are you gonna join me in the family circle? Are you gonna finally earn your way, hmm, pay your dues? Well? A very wise choice, my son.

Stephanie: I can't believe this. Here we were worried about Nick being with Melanie, and it turns out -- how could we have been so wrong?

Max: [Clears throat] Where is she? Where's my sister?

Philip: The doctor's checking her out.

Max: I heard what you did, Philip, for my sister, and, uh, thanks.

Stephanie: Nick must have snapped.

Max: Nick hasn't been the same since Willow died.

Chelsea: This is all my fault.

Donna: We obviously need a compelling message, so I intend to gather testimonials, post them on the website.

Abe: You're doing a tremendous job, Donna.

Donna: Well, I think it's important that we recruit from every demographic. So our brochure needs to be versatile enough to speak to speak to a wide range of prospects.

Stefano: I thought that we would have our dessert in front of the fireplace, huh? You know, Nicole, I don't mean to be cliché, but you really do light up the room.

Nicole: Oh, thank you.

Stefano: Actually, I wanted to, uh, I wanted to tell Nicole what we were just discussing, Elvis. May I?

E.J.: Sure. Go ahead.

Stefano: Elvis has accepted my offer to immerse himself in the family business. Isn't that marvelous news?

Stephanie: Chelsea, it's not your fault.

Chelsea: The only reason Nick ever ended up with Willow was because of me. He was trying to protect me.

Max: What happened with Willow was an accident, all right? But this -- I don't know. Something must have completely pushed him over the edge.

Nick: I'm allowed a phone call, right?

Hope: Yeah.

Nick: Can I make it now?

Hope: You can use this phone right here.

Nick: Hi. It's me.

Bo: My first arrest as police commissioner. I'm sorry, Fancy Face.

Abe: Lex?

Lexie: Yeah?

Abe: Hey. What's wrong?

Lexie: [Sniffling] I was reading this article in "Redbook" -- these -- these mothers of autistic children -- they -- they write about how the diagnosis inspired them to want to try to help other children.

Abe: And that upset you? Why?

Lexie: Because, I mean -- all I've done since Theo's diagnosis is feel sorry for myself.

Abe: Oh, Lex --

Lexie: These women -- they're so noble and brave, Abe. Instead of wallowing in self-pity, they're getting out there. They're helping other people. They're making a difference.

Donna: Excuse me for interrupting. Dr. Carver, I just had a thought. Since your husband and I were discussing recruiting volunteers, I just wondered if -- by any chance, would you be interested in joining the environmental task force? Having a physician on board would be a tremendous asset, actually.

Lexie: Oh, um, you know what? I really hadn't thought about it.

Donna: Well, I realize you're busy, and, of course, your son comes first, but, as a parent --

Lexie: I'll do it. I'll do it. I'd love to join the task force.

Donna: That's great. Thank you.

Lexie: Oh, and the support group for parents of autistic children -- I'll be at the next meeting.

Nicole: So, you're getting involved in the DiMera family business?

E.J.: Look... [Clears throat] I apologize for not discussing it with you.

Nicole: It's okay. Hey, it's not like I'm your wife or anything.

E.J.: No, Nicole, you're the mother of my child, okay? I owe you that courtesy. So, listen, if you have any objections at all, just...

Nicole: Uh, no. No -- no objections.

Stefano: Excellent. My instincts told me that you were a fine young woman, Nicole, and it has proven itself. Now, a toast, hmm? To my son.

Nicole: Yes.

Stefano: May you have a bright and promising future with DiMera Enterprises. Salute.

Nicole: Salute.

Stefano: All right. Fine. Why don't you two have your dessert in private, huh? I wish you a very lovely evening.

Nicole: Good night.

E.J.: Good night, Father.

Stefano: Good night. Good night.

E.J.: You promise me that my decision didn't bother you?

Nicole: I know that you will do what's right for our family.

E.J.: Thank you.

Nicole: "Our family."

E.J.: "Our family"?

Nicole: I like the sound of that.

E.J.: Me too. Very much.

Max: What did the doctor say? Are you okay?

Melanie: Yeah. I have a couple of cuts and scrapes, but I'll live.

Max: Good.

Melanie: Thank you, Philip, for saving my life. [Sniffles]

Philip: I'm sorry for what you went though.

Max: Look, I'm -- me too. I'm -- I'm so sorry about everything.

Melanie: What? What are -- what are you guys looking at?

Stephanie: Aren't you gonna ask about Nick?

Melanie: Well, I already know. He's gonna go to jail now.

Stephanie: Probably for the rest of his life -- because of you.

Nick: May I see Melanie?

Bo: Not right now.

Hope: That's not who you called, is it?

Bo: Nick, you got to get your attorney here.

Nick: I didn't call my lawyer exactly.

Maggie: [Sniffling]

Abe: All right. I'll be right there. Thanks for calling.

Lexie: What's going on?

Abe: They've captured Trent Robbins' killer.

Lexie: Really? Well, that's good news.

Abe: The bad news is it's Nick Fallon.

Maggie: [Crying]

Nick: I'm so sorry.

Maggie: No, I'm the one -- I'm the one who's sorry. I knew that you were taking pills and -- and you were drinking. I-I should have been there for you. So, what happens now?

Hope: It's completely out of our hands. [Clears throat] It goes to the judge and jury.

Maggie: But they, uh, they won't convict him. I mean, will they? I mean, he was taking pills and he was drinking and -- whatever happened, he wasn't in his right mind. He didn't know what he was doing. [Sobs] Come on, Bo. Why don't you answer me?

Bo: I'm sorry... but the way things look right now... Nick will definitely go to prison.

Maggie: No. No. No. No. No.

Nicole: Hey. Let's take this upstairs.

E.J.: That's a very good idea.

Nicole: Yes. [Both chuckle]

E.J.: Wait a second. What are you doing tomorrow?

Nicole: Well, I'm very, very busy. I'll have to fit you in my schedule. No, no. What is it? What is it?

E.J.: If you're very busy, you wouldn't want it.

Nicole: Oh, yes, I would.

E.J.: It's one of those -- I can't resist -- sur-prise -- s-surprise -- that was it. You wouldn't want it.

Nicole: I do want to know.

E.J.: You'll have to wait until tomorrow.

Nicole: Why tomorrow?

E.J.: Because that's the game.

Max: Hold on a minute here. My sister almost died just now. And not only that, she's been terrorized for weeks, for years, and for her entire life, and treated like dirt. And you're gonna -- you're blaming her?

Melanie: You guys, Nick tortured me and he tricked me into thinking I killed my Father. I'm -- I'm the victim. Don't you get it?

Chelsea: No, actually, I don't get it at all. You lied to the police. You obstructed justice. I mean, you'll be lucky if you don't get charged also.

Max: Okay, that's enough.

Stephanie: No, Max, she needs to hear it. Look, I don't know what you did to Nick, but whatever it was, you pushed him over the edge. He went crazy for you -- literally.

Chelsea: You never even loved him. You just -- you used him, and you lied to him. He was -- he is such a good person, and you just ruined his entire life. [Camera shutter clicking]

Maggie: You hang on, okay? Your Uncle Mickey's on his way. Okay?

Nick: I did everything for you. I love you so much. I'm sorry, Max. I never... I never meant to hurt her.

Chelsea: Can't even say that you're sorry or that you care for him, too? Oh, you're pathetic.

Melanie: You -- you're not mad -- you're not mad at me, are you, Max? Please say you're not.

Hope: It's time.

Nicole: "Your bag has been packed for romance and sin. Go upstairs, and your journey will begin." Elvis Jr., what are you up to?

Steve: I'm meeting somebody who says he can identify the mayor's killer.

John: Well, you better do it soon -- before he strikes again.
