John: Why do you give a damn if I get along with Brady or not?
Nicole: Well, it's a simple answer, John. Because I care about both of you.
John: How sweet. And because you care about me and you care about him, that gives you, what, the green light to run my life?
Nicole: Well, the truth is, I do a hell of a lot better job at it than you're doing.
Brady: So you think we should talk, huh?
E.J.: You don't?
Brady: Sure. Why not? Let me guess the first item on the agenda -- Nicole.
Maggie: Do you think Melanie killed her father?
Bo: There are all sorts of possibilities, but right now we really don't have a case against her.
Hope: But what we do have is a fugitive.
Bo: Her stuff is gone?
Hope: And Nick's. She's left town and taken Nick with her.
Nick: I still think we should take a hot bath, get ready for bed, and I will make us some drinks.
Melanie: No, thank you. I don't want one.
Nick: Oh, come on. It's a special occasion. [Chuckles] After all, we are getting married.
Nick: To my wife. What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost.
Hope: I have Maggie calling all of Nick's friends.
Bo: It's not gonna do any good. If they're making a run for it, they're not gonna tell anybody. [Knock on door] Are we handling this the right way? Hey. Come on in.
Max: So, what happened? Maggie called and asked us to come over here.
Bo: Yeah. It looks like Melanie took off.
Max: Damn it.
Bo: What is it, Max?
Max: Well, she's running, and you think that proves she did it, don't you?
Nick: What is it? What's wrong?
Melanie: Nothing. I mean everything.
Nick: Hey, I know. It's been a really tense day, which is why you need something to help you relax.
Melanie: I just -- I really don't want it.
Nick: Doctor's orders. Speaking of which, all that driving did not do my shoulder any...
Melanie: Are you sure you should mix that with -- with alcohol?
Nick: [Chuckles] What, are you gonna be the nagging wife? That was a joke. I was -- I was joking.
Melanie: I'm sorry. This is just -- this is -- this is going a little fast. Maybe we should -- maybe we should just go back home.
Nick: Melanie... we've come this far. We're not going back. We'll stay here tonight. We'll fly to Vegas in the morning. Tomorrow, we get married. And that...as they say... is that.
John: Oh, what a surprise. Someone ready to tell me how to live my life.
Nicole: "What a surprise"? Geez. Aren't we a little prickly? What does that remind me of? Ah, yes. Your son.
John: Well, what does he have to be prickly about? He came to you whining about how mean I've been to him. You called me, and you chew me out. It kind of sounds like he got everything he wanted.
Nicole: Yeah, but he doesn't know he did. I had a little chat with him, too.
John: Nicole... it's a good thing you're having this baby, because, clearly, you don't have enough to do.
Nicole: What Brady wants from you is unrealistic, and I told him so. So I want him to absorb that, and then I will continue my re-education.
John: He's gonna regret coming to you.
Nicole: Yeah, he might. But let's not talk about him anymore, okay? Let's talk about you. How many friends do you have now?
John: Real or imaginary?
Nicole: [Chuckles] Very few. You've got beaucoup free time on your hands. Maybe you could spend a little of that with him.
John: Yes. We could go bowling.
Nicole: Oh, you're so funny. Look, John, you could get to know him as a new person, and he could get to know who you are now. It could be mutually beneficial and very little effort on your part.
John: Do you really think the kid will be satisfied with a father who's just going through the motions?
Nicole: You know, ever since I've been pregnant, I've been going through the motions about becoming a responsible person, so don't knock going through the motions.
John: All right. Let me put it this way. You might mean well. I don't think you're right.
Nicole: You know what? Maybe I'm not right, but that doesn't mean you can't give it a try. And before you say anything else, let me just use my trump card here, okay? Marlena would love for you to do this, and maybe she could love you...again.
John: Ah. So what this is really all about is emotional manipulation.
Nicole: Yeah. Mm-hmm.
John: Okay. I'll think about it.
Brady: So Nicole -- keep my distance, right?
E.J.: I didn't say that.
Brady: Well, you are a DiMera, right? Tend to be a little territorial.
E.J.: [Chuckles] I can't tell you how much I enjoy being characterized simply on the basis of my last name by somebody I don't know.
Brady: I'm sorry. I'm sorry. It's just that, you know, I drop in on Nicole and you take off. The next thing I know, you're talking to my stepmother.
E.J.: It's okay. I'm not territorial. I am protective, though. And Nicole seemed a little bit agitated by your visit.
Brady: Yes, she did, but you have nothing to worry about. We were just talking about a few problems -- just talking. And I'll -- I'll keep my distance.
E.J.: Again, I didn't say that.
Brady: I would, however, like to meet Johnny. I mean, you must love having kids. I mean, you got two that are so close together.
E.J.: [Clears throat] You know, I don't have a lot of time, so let me make my point.
Brady: Right. I'm sorry. You must be anxious to get home. Sorry I interrupted.
E.J.: It's okay. You and Nicole have a lot in common -- a lot. She tells me you're trying to put your life back together. That's good. So is she.
Brady: I know that.
E.J.: You have a lot of problems, Brady.
Brady: Everybody does, right?
E.J.: Well, I would prefer it if you didn't look to Nicole for solutions. She needs about as much stability in her life as she can get right now.
Brady: Stability? Well, lucky for you that Sami's in witness protection, because two kids, two different mothers -- I mean, that's an unstable situation, especially considering the two particular mothers involved.
E.J.: The other reason I came here was to tell you that I get along with your father quite well. It must be hard for you two, seeing each other for the first time in a while. So if there is anything that I can do to help, I would be happy to. He's somebody who I'm quite fond of.
Brady: I was, too.
E.J.: Well, as you mentioned, I should be pressing on. I'll see myself out. Don't get up. And welcome back to Salem.
Brady: Thank you. [Door closes]
Brady: [British accent] "Stay away from my woman. Let me help you with your dad." [Normal voice] You're a DiMera, all right.
Bo: We don't know what it means yet, Max. We just need to find her.
Max: Oh, so you can finally throw her away in jail?
Bo: She knows she wasn't supposed to leave town.
Max: Maybe she hasn't. Maybe she's out for the night or something.
Hope: All of her things are gone. So are Nick's.
Bo: Look, we're not trying to persecute. We just need to talk to her.
Hope: Do you have any idea where she may have gone?
Chelsea: Max, what? What's wrong?
Max: Are you sure they went together?
Hope: No, but it's a natural assumption.
Bo: Max, what?
Max: Well, I saw Melanie this morning in the park.
Bo: Did she tell you they were taking off?
Max: No. It's what I told her. Look, I told her that Nick was in love with her, and it really weirded her out, so what is she doing going off with him? It doesn't make any sense.
Nick: Ah! You haven't even touched yours.
Melanie: Yeah, I told you I just didn't feel like it.
Nick: Well, can't let it go to waste. [Chuckles]
Melanie: Actually, I don't really feel very good at all.
Nick: Are you gonna be sick?
Melanie: No, I'm just -- I'm dizzy, so I think I'm -- I'm just gonna go for a little walk outside --
Nick: Sorry, Melanie. I just can't let you do that.
Philip: Very impressive résumé.
Stephanie: No, it's not.
Philip: You're right. It's terrible. You're fired.
Stephanie: You're making fun of me.
Philip: Steph, I give you an internship, and you track me down and give me your résumé?
Stephanie: Well, if I'm gonna get the job, I want to get it based on my qualifications, not because I know the boss.
Philip: To be honest, your résumé© doesn't even matter, and knowing me isn't gonna help you out at all. Once you start working, you'll be evaluated by your performance, just like everyone else who works for me. If you can't do the job, you won't keep it. Pass the mustard.
Philip: Excuse me?
Stephanie: I'm not gonna let you ruin a perfectly good cheeseburger. If you want to put something on it, put a little ketchup -- but just a little.
Philip: All right. If you say so.
Stephanie: I'm sorry. I'm just being bossy to cover up the fact that you just scared me. If you have to fire me, will you be nice about it?
Philip: I have a talent for picking out good workers. Hey, listen to me. You don't need to be nervous, and please don't be scared.
Stephanie: Okay. Was that you just being nice or a ploy to get the mustard?
Philip: You will never know, will you?
Bo: Yeah. Right. Okay. Thanks. Nick got his prescription refilled a couple hours ago.
Maggie: I could have told you that. He was so upset he dropped the pill bottle on the floor. I knew something was wrong, but I-I had to get to work. [Inhales raggedly] I left him alone.
Bo: Maggie, what is it? What's wrong?
Maggie: There, uh, there's something that you need to see.
Nick: Melanie, think. It's been long enough that they might know we're gone. Your face could be on the news. The cops could be looking for us.
Melanie: Nick, you're right. Um, you should go move the car. What if they -- what if they see your license plate?
Nick: It's already taken care of. I put the car in a garage when I went out for the vodka. You have to get used to the idea that you don't have to worry and that I will do the thinking for both of us.
Melanie: Okay. Okay. I'm sorry. I'm just a basket case.
Nick: Oh, don't be sorry. I understand.
Melanie: I've just been so scared and -- and wired for so long, I just...
Nick: That is why you should have a drink.
Melanie: No. But -- but I will -- I will take you up on that bath.
Nick: Good. Great. Go, uh, get ready for bed.
Melanie: I just -- I just need my purse.
Nick: You need your purse to go take a bath?
Melanie: Yeah. And my hairbrush, my makeup. I just want to look nice.
Nick: I mean, you already do, but okay.
Melanie: You fix yourself another drink, and I will try not to take too long.
Melanie: Oh, and when I get back, we'll have a drink together and we'll celebrate, okay?
Nick: Okay. Hey, Melanie... before you go, give me your phone.
[Knock on door]
Brady: Oh. Hey.
John: You're still here?
Brady: Yeah. I'm -- I'm staying here. Marlena asked me to.
John: Whatever. Is she here?
Brady: No, no. She's at the hospital.
John: Sorry to bother you.
Brady: D-Dad. Dad. Please. Can we try this again?
Nicole: Oh, E.J., hi. There you are. I was just gonna call you. Brady's gone.
E.J.: I know. I just spoke to him.
Nicole: What? Why? Where?
E.J.: I was at Marlena's when he got back.
Nicole: You said you had to go somewhere. What were you doing at Marlena's?
E.J.: You know what? I am sick of talking.
E.J.: Stop it.
Nicole: [Chuckles] Okay. I am, too. Mmm.
Bo: Where'd you find this?
Maggie: On the floor behind the wastebasket in their -- in their bathroom.
Chelsea: What is it? What does it say?
Bo: "I saw you at the cemetery. I know what happened."
Melanie: Why do you need my phone?
Nick: I want to check your messages and see if anybody's trying to get ahold of you, and then I'm gonna disable it.
Nick: Do you have any idea what kind of technology the police have? That thing is like a tracking device for them. I'll get you a new one in Vegas. It'll be a wedding present.
Melanie: But this one has all my phone numbers in it.
Nick: We're starting a new life. You really think you're gonna be calling home?
Melanie: We're not going back home?
Nick: There's nothing for us there. We'll find a new home -- maybe France.
Melanie: What about my brother?
Nick: You know what? Your brother isn't all he's cracked up to be, and I don't think he's quite as loyal as you may think he is. On your birthday, Melanie -- on your birthday -- you don't even want to know the things he said about you, what he thinks you're capable of. I'm the one you can trust, all right? Your husband. Not your brother. Well, you got a hairbrush. You got your makeup. What else do you need?
Nick: Damn it. I scared you, didn't I? I'm -- I'm really sorry.
Melanie: It's okay. It's fine.
Nick: No, it's not okay. I'm gonna be your husband. I'm supposed to make you happy. [Exhales deeply] And I will.
Melanie: Don't...touch me. Just don't touch me.
Nicole: Mmm. E.J. --
E.J.: Unh-unh-unh-unh-unh. No. Shh! No talking, remember?
Nicole: We're still in the living room.
E.J.: Oh. Well...I think I can take care of that?
Nicole: Ooh. Well, I love a man of action.
Max: Someone was threatening Melanie and she didn't even want to tell me about it?
Bo: She couldn't tell anyone. The implication is --
Max: Is that she did it. Yes, I know, Bo. Everything in the world says that she did it.
Chelsea: Calm down. That's not what he's saying.
Max: No, but maybe she was running away from the person who wrote that note.
Chelsea: Wait a second.
Chelsea: Well, it's only gonna make you upset.
Hope: What? No. You have a theory? Let's hear it.
Chelsea: What if Melanie wrote the note to herself so that it would draw suspicion away from her?
Max: That doesn't make any sense at all.
Chelsea: Except that it does.
Bo: Maggie, um, do you recognize the stationery?
Maggie: It's mine. I keep it right here. Maybe -- I mean, you know, uh, Melanie could have written it herself, and -- and maybe Chelsea's right.
Hope: Well, I love playing clue as much as the next guy, but the stationery isn't the issue. It's the handwriting. Chelse, could you take a look at this, please?
Chelsea: Oh, my God.
Hope: Whose handwriting is it?
Chelsea: It's Nick's.
Stephanie: So I am familiar with all these computer programs, but I didn't know how to put in the résumé© that I can learn new ones quickly.
Stephanie: Oh, I'm really sorry.
Stephanie: I'm going on and on about computer programs, and you're thinking about your mom, huh?
Philip: Don't apologize.
Stephanie: Well, it was thoughtless.
Philip: No, listen. Anything that gets me thinking about something else, I like it, you know? I like it when it's crazy at work, when there's no time to think.
Stephanie: I'm like that myself. I keep thinking about this new internship so I don't have to think about Max.
Philip: You see? There's something else we have in common. Like last night... when you walked up on me outside Cheatin' Heart. It's not that... I don't like other people knowing what I'm feeling. I don't like knowing what I'm feeling. [Cellphone ringing]
Stephanie: I'll turn this off.
Philip: No. Take it. It's okay.
Stephanie: I don't know who this is. Hello? No. About a half an hour. Sure. If I see them, I'll tell them to call you. Not a problem. I hope everything's okay.
Philip: Is something wrong?
Stephanie: That was Maggie Horton. She asked if I had seen Nick or Melanie. It seems like they're missing.
Nick: What did you just say to me?
Melanie: I'm sorry.
Nick: You can't talk to me like that. You cannot talk to me like that.
Melanie: I'm sorry. It's -- it's been a horrible day, and I feel ugly and -- and dirty, and I just -- it came out wrong.
Nick: You're not ugly. You're beautiful. You're -- you're so beautiful.
Melanie: Whoa. Nick, are you okay?
Nick: I'm fine. I'm fine. I just maybe need to -- I need to sit down.
Melanie: No, you need to lie down, and I'm gonna -- I'm gonna take my bath.
Nick: No, no. No bath.
Melanie: You just said --
Nick: No we got to stay together. There's no bath. I got -- I got to take care of you.
Melanie: I'm just worried about your shoulder. Here. Is it -- is it still hurting you?
Nick: It's okay.
Melanie: Where did you say it was hurting -- right there?
Nick: Hey, hey. Come on. Careful. Careful.
Melanie: I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm just worried. I'm worried about your shoulder. I think -- I think that you need another -- another drink and -- and maybe another pill.
Nick: I'm okay.
Melanie: Okay. You do all the thinking. But no one's gonna find us tonight or tomorrow. You need to be in charge, so you need to get some sleep.
Nick: You -- I need you, is what I need.
Melanie: Well, we'll see. But, first, let me fix you a drink, okay?
Nick: I love you, Melanie. You do know that, don't you?
Melanie: Yeah, Nick, of course I do.
Nick: You're not scared of me now, are you -- not now?
Melanie: No, Nick, not now.
John: I don't have a lot of time.
Brady: That's okay. Me, neither. I actually have to hit a meeting -- addict support group. Too much information?
John: Your stepmother said that you were getting help. Good job.
Brady: Okay, so, this is really weird.
John: We agree on something.
Brady: [Exhales deeply] Look, I-I just want to say that I-I talked to Nicole, and she pretty much talked turkey to me, and I'm -- I'm not gonna push anything, okay?
John: Well, that's a good idea, because there's nothing to push. See, I don't know you, and there's nothing you can do to change that.
Brady: Well, you could... maybe get to know me now, and I could get to know you now.
John: Well, I guess if you're gonna be living here, I'll see you around.
Brady: Even though you and Marlena are divorced? See? I-I already know a little something about you. You're not gonna give up on her, are you?
John: And you're very perceptive. I don't know if I like that.
Brady: You know, we -- we used to get along really great. And I understand that that may not be this time around. There's no guarantees, but --
John: Not at all...son. I have to go now.
Brady: Dad, you know, um, I think you will be seeing me around, because... I'm thinking about moving here permanently.
John: Well, that's your decision. I really shouldn't factor into it, because sometimes it's... wise just to cut your losses.
Brady: Right. If you're sick, there's no way in hell I'm going anywhere... Dad.
Chelsea: Hey, are you sure you don't mind me hanging around here?
Max: No, I just wish I didn't have to work. I could be out looking for Melanie.
Chelsea: Do you know where she is?
Chelsea: So you looking for her would be...
Max: Useless? I-I could be doing something else other than mixing drinks all day.
Max: [Exhales deeply] I just -- I might not see her again, you know? And -- and the last thing I did was tell her off about Nick, and why did she do it? I mean, running totally plays into Bo's plan.
Chelsea: Do you remember the first thing you said to me when you found out that Melanie was gone? You said that my Dad would take it as proof of her being guilty.
Max: Yeah. Oh, come on.
Chelsea: I don't really think that it's that unreasonable an assumption, and I kind of feel like maybe that's how you feel.
Max: Well, she had the means and opportunity, and -- and she sure as hell had a motive.
Chelsea: I'm sorry. I know that this is probably really, really difficult on you.
Max: See, we both came from the same father, all right? But I was raised by the Brady's, and she was raised by him. And he pretty much screwed up the first 18 years of her life. And if she is guilty, that just means that he can just screw up the rest of her life, too.
Chelsea: You told Melanie that Nick was in love with her. Is that true?
Max: Yeah. I mean, he thinks he is.
Chelsea: Then why would he send her a threatening letter? I mean, why would he want to scare her like that?
Max: Well, it doesn't really make sense, does it?
Chelsea: Not a whole lot.
Max: Huh. You're right. With her running, I thought that it made her look guilty. But what if running wasn't her idea?
Chelsea: What if -- I'm gonna call my Dad.
Max: All right.
Bo: Just make sure everyone knows these kids aren't suspects. We just want to bring them in for questioning.
Bo: Give me a break.
Jenkins: Whatever you say... commissioner.
Bo: You're a funny man, Jenkins. Now, get out of my office.
Hope: Hey, Jenkins. Hey.
Bo: Remind me to bust him down to traffic, would you? What?
Hope: I just got off the phone with Chelsea, and I promised her that I would share with you her latest insight into the case.
Bo: What did she say?
Hope: She pointed out that if Nick is in love with Melanie, threatening notes -- it's completely out of character.
Bo: Except if --
Hope: We don't know that, Brady.
Bo: Come o-- if he is obsessed with her, he needs to make her scared and dependent. He needs to isolate her.
Hope: This is ridiculous. Nick would never do that. I don't see it.
Hope: [Exhales deeply] God, I do. I can see it. Those pain killers scare me, Brady. With his mother's history and everything, I -- you put out an A.P.B., didn't you?
Bo: She could be in danger. I had to.
Hope: I know. I know you did.
Nick: You know what's wrong?
Melanie: No. What's wrong?
Nick: I said we were getting married so that I wouldn't have to testify against you. That's not it. That's not all of it. I love you, Melanie. I want to be married to you. I want to spend the rest of my life making you happy.
Melanie: I don't know what to say.
Nick: I know you don't love me yet. I know that. But you could, in time. Don't you think?
Melanie: Sure, Nick. Um, I think I'll take you up on that drink. And then we will -- we'll toast -- we'll make a toast to -- to our happiness.
Nick: Whatever you say.
Melanie: [Sniffles] Your glass -- let me -- let me go get some ice, okay?
Nick: Okay. I can do it.
Melanie: No, no, no. It's fine. It's fine. You just relax, okay?
E.J.: You are so beautiful.
Philip: That was Maggie. She must be going through her Rolodex. She was asking about Nick and Melanie.
Stephanie: Nick and Melanie. Those two names together -- it sounds like Thumper and Cruella de Vil.
Philip: Not a fan, are we?
Stephanie: Are you?
Philip: [Clears throat] Well, I've had my encounters with Melanie, and I don't think Nick can deal with someone like her.
Stephanie: Dealing with her, you need mace and a net.
Stephanie: I'm worried about him, Philip. He's so...nice and gullible.
Philip: I'm gonna go over to Maggie's now, see if I can help out.
Stephanie: Do you mind if I come with you?
Philip: Not at all. Do you have any idea where they might have gone?
Stephanie: No, but wherever they are, I'm sure Nick is in trouble.
Philip: All right. Let's go.
Melanie: [Chuckles nervously] Are you sure you don't want another pill? I just want to make sure that you can sleep tonight.
Nick: Maybe...I don't want to sleep.
Melanie: But we have a busy day tomorrow.
Nick: It's still early. And since we're getting married tomorrow, what say you and I... have a bachelor party. What the hell? What the hell do you think you're doing?
Bo: Hey, Fancy Face. He's your cousin. You don't have to stay on this case.
Hope: Of course I do. A little to the right. Brady, I'm okay.
Bo: Liar. Why don't you go home, get some rest?
Hope: Absolutely not. I want this over with as soon as possible.
Bo: The A.P.B. is out. It's a waiting game now.
Hope: The note.
Hope: Nick was at the cemetery. The caretaker saw him.
Hope: So it wasn't some kid playing "I saw what you did. I know who you are." He was actually there.
Bo: Again, right.
Hope: Brady, the wording. "I saw you at the cemetery. I know what happened." Not "I saw what you did," but "I know what happened."
Bo: Hope --
Hope: Brady, wait. The autopsy report. You know where I'm going with this. You think I'm right, don't you?
Nick: What did you think you were doing? You know, you've been weird since we got here.
Melanie: Okay, Nick, I keep trying to tell you that this is happening too fast, okay? You tell me I killed my Father, and then now we're here, and now we're gonna go...
Nick: I'm trying to take care of you, and you're coming at me with an ice pick!
Melanie: Can I explain? Can you -- can put put that --
Nick: This had better be good. Ohh! Oh! You just made... a very...big...mistake.
E.J.: [Sighs contentedly] That was a wonderful afternoon.
Nicole: Let's see what we can do for the night. Hmm?
Maggie: Nick, honey, it's me again. Uh, I don't know what's going on, but I'm getting pretty worried. Would you please call me? Better yet, just come home, okay? [Crying softly] Listen, if Melanie's got you mixed up in her problems... we can -- we'll talk about it. We'll work it out. Just know that I love you, okay?
[Knock on door]
Maggie: Oh! Nick! Nick.
Maggie: Oh, uh, come on in. I-I was hoping you were Nick.
Stephanie: You still haven't heard from him?
Maggie: No. Will you excuse me? I'll be back in a minute.
Philip: She's really upset.
Stephanie: I don't think it's just about Nick being gone. She thinks something horrible's gonna happen.
Chelsea: I just got off the phone with like six people, and nobody's even seen Nick in days.
Max: That's so weird. It's like his world just shrunk down to just Melanie.
Chelsea: Did you know that he was taking medication?
Max: Yeah, I knew he was taking pills for the gunshot wound, but I didn't know he was still taking them.
Max: I don't know. That note just seems really strange. I mean, no wonder Melanie was -- was hard to take. She must have been totally freaking out.
Chelsea: Why would he do that to her?
Max: I -- I told my sister not to do anything to hurt Nick. I guess I got it backwards.
Hope: You know it cleared your mother. The autopsy report showed the angle of the wounds were most likely...
Bo: Consistent with someone who's over 6 feet.
Hope: Exactly. The note, the pain killers, the obsession with Melanie.
Bo: She was fighting with her father at the cemetery. He was there. Maybe her father pushed her, she fell and was knocked out.
Hope: And Nick decided to solve the biggest problem in her life.
Bo: Son of a -- do you think she knows?
Hope: I hope not -- for her sake.
Melanie: Let go of me.
Nick: What, are you crazy?
Melanie: Oh, yeah, that's really great, coming from you.
Nick: What did you say?
Nick: What did you just say to me?!
Melanie: I'm sorry. I didn't mean it. I didn't mean it. I'm sorry.
Melanie: Oh, no. Please let go. Nick, let go of me!
Stephanie: Do you think I should go upstairs, make sure she's okay?
Philip: [Exhales deeply]
Stephanie: Oh, thank God. It's Nick.
Melanie: Nick, please. Get off me! Get off me now!
Nick: I'm not letting you leave.
Melanie: What are you gonna do, kill me?
Melanie: I said, what are you gonna do, kill me, like you killed my Father?
Kate: When do you get the results?
Daniel: Within an hour.
Lucas: I have to decide on whether or not to commit to something -- for us.
Nick: The only thing you care about is saving yourself. You don't care about what I did or what I'm going through. That's not gonna happen -- not this time.
