Caroline: I thought I took care of you. Oh, my God. [Screaming]

Bo: What the hell? [Screaming continues] Oh, my God! Aah! Aah! Get off of me! [Gasping] Oh! Oh! Lord! Oh! Oh! [Breathing heavily] Ooh! [Crying] Oh, my God. [Grunting]

Bo: Ma? Ma! Ma?

Caroline: [Crying]

Kate: Lung cancer. Are you sure?

Daniel: No. No, I'm not positive. Your x-rays revealed a slight abnormality, which suggests a tumor, but x-rays can be deceiving. In fact, false positives are pretty common. So, I spoke to our top pulmonologist, Dr. Faulk, and he would like to schedule a biopsy.

Kate: A biopsy?

Daniel: Yes. Look, he's just gonna take a small piece of tissue from the suspected tumor, maybe a little bit of fluid from your lungs.

Kate: It's impossible. I don't smoke.

Daniel: I know. But nonsmokers account for 20% of lung cancer cases.

Kate: It's -- damn it.

Daniel: We'll know more once we do the biopsy. Even if it is cancer, it may still be in its early stages.

Kate: [Chuckling]

Daniel: Kate...

Kate: No. No, no, no. I don't want your sympathy.

Daniel: Well, let's -- let's not just jump to conclusions here. Take it one step at a time .

Kate: Okay. Okay. I'll schedule the tests. But you don't tell anyone about this until we know what it is.

Daniel: It's between me and you.

Nurse: Dr. Jonas, there's a patient out here asking to see you.

Daniel: You tell whoever it is that I'll be with them in a minute.

Kate: No, go ahead. It's fine.

Daniel: Are you sure?

Kate: Yes.

Daniel: Nicole? You're the one asking for me?

Nicole: Oh, please, Daniel. You have to help me.

Philip: Hi.

Chloe: Philip, hi. Oh, my God. I almost spilled my wine.

Philip: Mind if I join you?

Chloe: Would it matter if I did?

Philip: Probably not. So, why are you here all alone? Where's Lucas?

Chloe: I don't know, and I don't care.

Nick: Hey. Put that away. I told you. I'm paying for dinner.

Melanie: Oh, come on, Nick. After everything you've done for me, I at least owe you a free meal.

Nick: It is not a big deal. I get shot all the time. It comes with the job.

Melanie: [Laughs] As a college professor?

Nick: Students take their grades very seriously around here.

Melanie: Well, I wouldn't know about that. I've always been more concerned with clubbing than calculus.

Nick: Yeah, I figured that one out, premier party girl.

Melanie: Speaking of partying, you think maybe you could show me some of Salem's hot spots after dinner? I kind of feel like getting a little crazy.

Nick: Uh, yeah, sure. Not exactly the expert on fun around here.

Melanie: Well, luckily for you, I am. And I can think of quite a few things to teach you, professor.

Max: Aren't you gonna join me?

Stephanie: What's going on?

Max: Steph.

Stephanie: Why is there blood all over your shirt?

Bo: Ma? Are you okay? What happened?

Caroline: [Gasping]

Bo: Ma. Look at me. What have you done?

Caroline: [Gasping] Oh!

Nicole: I really don't feel good.

Daniel: What are your symptoms?

Nicole: I'm weak and I'm shaky and I'm throwing up like there's no tomorrow, which, at this point, would be a blessing.

Daniel: Why don't you just stay here, fill out this form? I'm tending to another patient right now, but as soon as I'm done, I will check you out.

Kate: That's okay. I was just leaving.

Daniel: Kate.

Kate: No, don't worry. I'll make the appointment. What's with her? What's wrong, you run out of alcohol?

Nicole: What is she talking about?

Daniel: I hate to admit it, but she does have a point. You look like you're going through the DT's.

Philip: What, did something happen between you and Lucas?

Chloe: Oh, no, that's not what I meant. He's running errands with Allie. I just forget where. All I care about is that I finally get to have some me time.

Philip: Things getting a little cramped at the cabin?

Chloe: It's mostly been nice. But living with a baby 24/7 can be exhausting.

Philip: Are we talking about Lucas or Allie?

Chloe: Ha. Stop it. Your brother is much more mature than you are.

Philip: Yeah, well, who isn't? So, you enjoying playing mommy?

Chloe: It's not so bad. But I am enjoying this little break for myself and not have to think about changing diapers or heating bottles. I just get to soak in some music, drink a little wine.

Philip: Which you can't do in front of Lucas.

Chloe: He doesn't mind, but I try not to.

Philip: Well, my brother's lucky to have such a thoughtful girlfriend.

Chloe: Speaking of girlfriends, where's Miss Steel Magnolia?

Philip: Her internship got pushed back a week, so she went to visit her mother.

Chloe: By herself?

Philip: I was gonna go with her, but I'm a little tied up with work.

Chloe: Philip Kiriakis left to his own devices. You better stay out of trouble.

Philip: Well, then why don't you keep me company, help me stay out of trouble. Or not. [Both laughing]

Mickey: Julie. Doug. How are you?

Julie: Good evening!

Maggie: Hello, gorgeous.

Doug: Hey, sweetheart.

Maggie: Hello.

Doug: We're fine, to answer your question. We were just in the mood for a little dining and dancing, and, so naturally, we came to the classiest spot in town.

Maggie: Thank you so much. You know I love nothing more than entertaining my family.

Mickey: Nick's here, too.

Doug: Ah.

Julie: Ah.

Nick: [Laughing]

Julie: Who's the girl with him?

Mickey: That's Max Brady's sister, Melanie.

Doug: Didn't know Max had a sister.

Maggie: Apparently, neither did Max.

Doug: Well, that sounds like an interesting story.

Maggie: Yes, and I don't know all the details.

Julie: Hmm. Mm-hmm.

Doug: What? What, sweetheart?

Julie: Oh, I don't know. Something about her body language. Something about that girl I don't like.

Maggie: [Laughs]

Bo: Ma.

Caroline: Yeah?

Bo: Put the knife on the ground.

Caroline: This is not what it looks like.

Bo: Ma, please. Just put the knife down.

Caroline: Oh. L-l-let me explain. Trent was coming toward me.

Hope: Don't -- don't say another word, not until you have an attorney.

Caroline: Oh God.

Bo: Come on, let's stand up. It's okay.

Caroline: Okay. All right.

Hope: Trent's dead.

Caroline: Oh, God!

Bo: Jenkins.

Jenkins: Yes.

Caroline: Oh, my God.

Bo: Stay with Ma.

Jenkins: Sure.

Bo: Lopez, search the area.

Hope: You have to do this by the book.

Bo: This is Ma.

Hope: I don't like this, either. But after what happened with Victor, you can't afford any mistakes, especially concerning family members. Bo, I'm sorry, but we have to take her in.

Bo: Call Mickey. Tell him what happened. Ma, I'm sorry. Jenkins... read Mrs. Brady her rights.

Jenkins: You have the right to remain silent. Anything that you say will be used in court as evidence against you.

Stephanie: This isn't your blood, it?

Max: No, at least not all of it.

Stephanie: Then whose is it?

Max: Trent's.

Stephanie: What happened?

Max: We got into a fight, all right?

Stephanie: When?

Max: After I left the garage. I visited Pop's grave site, and he was there. So I punched him, and we scuffled for a bit.

Stephanie: And that's how you got those scratches on your back.

Max: Probably.

Stephanie: Why didn't you say anything earlier?

Max: Because I hate that I lost my cool, okay? And I didn't want you to worry.

Stephanie: I worry more when you keep things from me.

Max: I know, and I'm sorry, okay? I'm sorry.

Stephanie: It's okay. I'm sorry about Trent.

Nick: Maybe I should invite Max and Steph. They might have a better idea of where the cool places are.

Melanie: Actually, maybe it could just be the two of us. I kind of like spending one-on-one time with you.

Nick: That sounds good to me.

Melanie: You sure your hand doesn't hurt? I mean, like, maybe we should get some ice for it.

Nick: It's fine.

Melanie: I've never really had someone defend me like you did with Claude. Thanks again.

Nick: Stop thanking me. I was trying to protect you. Anybody would have done the same.

Melanie: Yeah, well, not all guys are like you. And I'm going to keep coming up with ways to thank you until I'm completely satisfied. You're my hero, Nick Fallon.

Julie: One word -- troublemaker.

Maggie: Mm. That's what I was telling Mickey. [Cellphone ringing]

Doug: You haven't even met her. How can you possibly know that?

Julie: My darling, it takes one to know one.

Mickey: Excuse me. Hello.

Hope: Oh, thank God, Uncle Mickey. I was having trouble getting reception.

Mickey: Is there something wrong, Hope?

Hope: It's Caroline. She's in trouble. She needs your help. Can you head down to the station?

Mickey: What trouble?

Hope: She's being arrested for murder.

Mickey: Murder?

Hope: Trent Robbins. He's dead. And we found her holding a weapon at the scene of the crime.

Mickey: Tell her not to say a word until I get there.

Hope: I already did.

Mickey: Good. I'm on my way. Trent Robbins was murdered, and Caroline's been arresting for it.

Julie: That's insane! Caroline! Caroline isn't capable of murdering anybody.

Mickey: I'm going to the station.

Doug: Well, I'm going with you.

Maggie: Wait a minute. Wait. Trent was Melanie's father.

Mickey: That poor kid. We should probably tell her.

Maggie: Yes. [Both laughing]

Mickey: I'm sorry to interrupt, but I have some bad news.

Nick: What's wrong?

Mickey: Melanie, sweetheart, I just got word that Trent -- your father -- he's dead.

Bo: Jenkins.

Hope: Uncle Mickey's on his way to the station.

Bo: All right, thank you. Jenkins, come here.

Caroline: [Crying]

Bo: Let the station know you're bringing in a suspect. But do me a favor. Don't use any names on the radio.

Jenkins: Sure thing.

Bo: Thanks. Take this with you. Appreciate it. Ma.

Caroline: Bo, you got to believe me. I didn't kill him. He -- Trent, he came stumbling out of the bushes. The knife was in his back.

Bo: It's okay, Ma. It's okay. It's all right. We'll get this sorted out. Now, um, Officer Lopez is gonna take you to his car. I'll be there in a second. I'll be with you every step of the way.

Caroline: Thank you, Bo. [Crying]

Bo: I love you, Ma.

Caroline: I love you, Bo.

Bo: Lopez, take her to your car.

Lopez: Right this way, Mrs. Brady.

Caroline: Thank you.

Bo: It's gonna be okay, Ma.

Caroline: Yeah.

Bo: It's gonna be all right.

Hope: We're gonna get through this.

Bo: She didn't kill him. Hell, she couldn't kill anyone. But this does not look good.

Hope: I know. As difficult as it was, you did the right thing. Just play by the rules for now, and then we'll find out who's really responsible. You and I both know he had more than one enemy. A lot of people wanted to see this man dead.

Bo: Yeah.

Nicole: How can I be going through withdrawal? I'm on a steady regiment of alcohol. I have at least three drinks every meal.

Daniel: Well, that's... impressive.

Nicole: Look, I really just think I have food poisoning.

Daniel: No, you've been throwing up for the last few days. I remember you scampering off to the ladies room that day we had drinks at the pub.

Nicole: I-I can't keep anything down.

Daniel: Well, that would explain the symptoms of delirium tremens.

Nicole: What -- what do you mean?

Daniel: Your sour stomach is preventing the alcohol from staying in your system. For most people, that wouldn't be an issue. But for you, that's kind of a double whammy. Not only are you feeling nauseous, for reasons to be determined, but your body is going through alcohol withdrawal.

Nicole: That is terrible news.

Daniel: Not exactly life -threatening.

Nicole: Are you kidding? I'm in the middle of a crisis. I need the liquid strength to survive.

Daniel: You could try relying on your inner strength.

Nicole: Look, doc, I need you to cure me right away. I really need a drink. Stat.

Philip: Here you go.

Chloe: Thank you. It's gonna be pretty hard to keep an eye on you if I keep drinking much more.

Philip: Don't worry about it. I can be a good boy on my own.

Chloe: Yeah, right. You know, I'm glad we're still friends.

Philip: Me too. I was pretty angry when you hooked up with Lucas. But we have way too much history to throw that all away.

Chloe: That's what I like about us. No matter what, we always have a connection. You know, there's not a lot of people in my life I can count on, but you're one of them.

Philip: I feel the same way.

Chloe: In fact, I was actually more concerned about the relationship between you and your brother.

Philip: Nah, we're cool now.

Chloe: I'm relieved to hear that.

Philip: So, what are you listening to these days? The Jonas Brothers?

Chloe: Well, that Nick is awfully cute.

Philip: Oh, my God. You know their names?

Chloe: Don't pretend like you don't. No, seriously, I was listening to the MET's production of "Salome" with Karita Mattila. She's absolutely amazing. You know, I got to admit. I'm kind of jealous. I'm the perfect age for that part.

Philip: You must miss singing.

Chloe: I do. I wish I could perform again.

Philip: Then why don't you?

Chloe: Well, thanks to your father, my reputation was tainted for a while.

Philip: But the truth came out. You didn't kill Brady. Happy ending or everyone.

Chloe: Right. Well, since then, I just haven't made it a priority to get back out there.

Philip: Too busy shacking up with my brother.

Chloe: Oh, shut up. Who still says "shacking up" anymore, anyway?

Philip: It's a shack, isn't it, or a cabin. Same thing.

Chloe: True. Anything without an indoor shower is a shack to me.

Philip: You're really gonna love it out there the winter.

Chloe: You are such a jerk. Do you know that?

Philip: [Laughing]

[Cellphone ringing]

Max: [Groans]

Stephanie: That's me. Sorry.

Max: Yeah. [Second cellphone ringing]

Stephanie: Hi, Mom.

Max: Melanie, what's up?

Melanie: Uh, Max, something bad happened.

Max: Are you okay?

Melanie: Well, yeah. I mean, no. It's Dad. He was murdered.

Max: When?

Melanie: I don't know. Earlier tonight, I guess.

Max: Where are you?

Melanie: I'm at Chez Rouge with Nick. We're about to go to the police station. I just wanted to call and tell you first.

Max: Do they know who did it?

Melanie: Yeah, they already arrested somebody.

Max: Who?

Melanie: Your mom.

Stephanie: Mom, that's impossible!

Roman: I got a call on a murder case. You guys know anything about it?

Lopez: Yeah, we were on the scene.

Jenkins: This is the murder weapon. About to take it down to forensics, check for prints, match it up to the wound.

Roman: Okay. We got a name of the victim?

Lopez: Trent Robbins. Detective Brady is bringing in the suspect right now.

Roman: Ma, what are you doing here? Bo, I thought you were, uh... oh, no. Unh-unh. No. No, this can't be.

Roman: Come on, Bo. This isn't possible. Hell, you arrest Ma for murder. There's no way she could have done this.

Bo: We found Ma alone at the scene of the crime, holding what was probably the murder weapon. Didn't have a choice.

Roman: Ma, I know that you were angry with Trent.

Caroline: I didn't kill him! You got to believe me.

Roman: Of course I believe you. We all believe you. No one will believe you're capable of murder.

Caroline: I'm so scared, Roman.

Roman: I know you are. I know you are, Ma, but listen to me very closely. Everything will be okay.

Bo: Hope called Mickey. We advised ma not to say anything till he got here.

Mickey: That's good advice.

Julie: Oh, Caroline. Everything's gonna be all right.

Caroline: It doesn't look very good.

Maggie: Shh. Shh. Shh. Let Mickey handle it, okay.

Caroline: Right.

Bo: Thanks for getting here so quickly.

Mickey: Of course. I need to speak with my...client alone.

Roman: Okay. Use my office.

Caroline: Oh.

Doug: Bo. What happened?

Bo: Hope and I found Ma at the scene of Trent's death. That's all I can tell you.

Maggie: Oh, my.

Julie: But you know your mother couldn't possibly have killed him, right?

Bo: Yeah. I do know that. But I didn't have a choice. [Telephone ringing] I wish I could be in there with her through this.

Roman: Yeah, me too. But as long as we're involved in the investigation, there's no way we can, not while she's with her lawyer.

Maggie: Roman, uh, Bo, would you like for me to go sit with her?

Roman: Maggie, you know what, that'd be a good idea. Thank you. Yeah.

Roman: I think I'll go down to the lab, see what they've come up with.

Bo: Yeah, I'll call Hope. She's still at the cemetery.

Doug: Okay, we'll wait here for Caroline.

Bo: Thanks, you guys.

Julie: God, this is terrible!

Doug: Honey, you know that -- that Mickey will make sure that she's cleared.

Julie: Well, I know that Trent was not well-liked, but murder? Who on earth could have done such a thing?

Stephanie: I can't believe your father -- Trent is dead.

Max: Yeah, well, I'm more concerned about ma right now. I need a shirt.

Stephanie: Here.

Max: Never mind.

Stephanie: You don't really think that your mom killed Trent, did you?

Max: No way. Absolutely not. You're beginning to think that I did, aren't you? [Curtain rattles]

Daniel: In need of a manicure?

Nicole: Looks like it. Can you give me one while I'm here?

Daniel: Sorry, we're not full-service. So, how are you feeling?

Nicole: Bored out of my mind.

Daniel: No, I mean physically.

Nicole: I feel better. I don't have the shakes anymore.

Daniel: Good. Good. The I.V. should be helping to hydrate your body.

Nicole: What would help more is if the I.V. was hooked up to some vodka. You know, I decided that the D.T.'s are a lot worse than throwing up. I'm willing to risk it.

Daniel: Well, I'm sorry. I can't help you there.

Nicole: Just one little shot of vodka, tequila, anything.

Daniel: Have you ever thought about staying sober?

Nicole: Yeah, once, but I was drunk, and I wasn't thinking clearly.

Daniel: You know what? This is a good opportunity for a fresh start.

Nicole: No, it's a good opportunity to sue the pants off Caroline Brady. I really think that woman was trying to murder her customers with that clam chowder.

Daniel: I'm pretty sure it's not the clam chowder.

Nicole: Well, then what is wrong with me?

Daniel: I have a few ideas, but we'll know more once we get your blood work back.

Nicole: Well, how long is that gonna take?

Daniel: Shouldn't be too much longer, okay?

Nicole: Would you stay with me?

Daniel: Okay. Just for a little while.

Nicole: I saw Chelsea today. Did you know she was back in town?

Daniel: Oh, look at that. Time to run.

Nicole: I didn't mean to pry. I just wanted to know if you knew.

Daniel: I saw her earlier.

Nicole: And?

Daniel: And she's still angry.

Nicole: You never told me what you did to make her flee the country.

Daniel: That was on purpose. So, what is this major crisis you were referring to earlier?

Nicole: [Sighs] I'm surprised you haven't heard. Victor found out our marriage is invalid, which means my big divorce settlement is invalid, too.

Daniel: Bummer.

Nicole: You know what? Seriously, I don't -- I don't know what I'm gonna do if I have to pay back all that money.

Daniel: You could get a job.

Nicole: I think the shakes are coming back.

Daniel: [Laughs] So, why was your marriage invalid?

Nicole: Because my first husband neglected to tell me that he didn't follow through with the divorce.

Daniel: That's not very nice.

Nicole: Understatement of the millennium. That s of a bitch ruined my life.

Daniel: I'm sorry about that, Nicole.

Nicole: At least someone is. Victor's ecstatic.

Daniel: You know what? I should go check out those tests. I'll be right back. [Curtain rattles]

Nicole: I hope you burn in hell, Trent.

[Cellphone ringing]

Kate: Hello.

Daniel: Kate, it's Daniel. Just wanted to see how you're doing.

Kate: Well, according to you, not so well.

Daniel: Where are you?

Kate: I'm in Chez Rouge. I'm waiting for a client to show up for dinner.

Daniel: You're working?!

Kate: You sound surprised.

Daniel: Well, after the news I told you tonight, I just thought that y-y-you'd be --

Kate: What, you thought I was gonna curl up in the fetal position and cry myself to sleep? Obviously, you don't know me too well.

Daniel: I know you too well, Kate, so you don't have to put on an act for me.

Kate: Look, Daniel, I promise I'm going to schedule the biopsy, okay, so why don't you save up all your concern for the detoxing dimwit?

Daniel: Well, I don't think Nicole is just suffering from withdrawal.

Kate: Yeah, well, whatever it is, I'm sure she deserves it. Look, I really do need to go now.

Daniel: Okay. Uh, you know, if you need to talk, though...

Kate: I'll be in touch.

Philip: So, there's nothing keeping you from getting back into singing.

Chloe: Well, no, but...

Philip: But what?

Chloe: Well, I promised Lucas that I would help him with Allie, and I can't do that if I'm running off to auditions or rehearsals. What if I have to go on tour?

Philip: It's nice that you want to help out with Allie, but you can't throw your life away.

Lucas: Philip's right. I'd hate to see you sacrifice your dreams.

Chloe: You weren't supposed to hear that. I don't really feel like I'm giving up anything by being with you.

Lucas: You are very sweet. Thank you.

Chloe: Where's Allie?

Lucas: She's with Gram. I wanted them to spend some time together. But I wanted to talk to you about your beautiful singing.

Chloe: There's not much to say.

Lucas: Well, we're gonna change that. I think you should focus on your career again. And I think my brother can help you out.

Julie: Trent's daughter's here. Melanie, hello. Uh, I'm Julie. And this is my husband, Doug. We're Nick's family. I -- we're so sorry for your loss.

Melanie: Thank you.

Doug: Okay, anything we can do, please, just let us know.

Nick: You don't have to be here. I can take you home.

Melanie: No, I need to be here. I need to know what happened.

Nick: Okay. If that's what you want.

Melanie: He was a horrible Father. And after what he tried to pull with Claude, I should not care. But he was still my Dad.

Bo: Nick. Melanie. Uh, we haven't officially met. I'm Detective Bo Brady.

Melanie: I know.

Bo: This is gonna be difficult, but I need you to formally identify your father's body when they bring him in. It's procedure.

Melanie: Oh, my God.

Bo: Can you do that for me?

Melanie: I just need to prepare myself.

Bo: All right. We'll let you know when we're ready.

Melanie: I'm so glad you're here. I have no idea what I would have done without you.

Roman: All right. That's it. I'll forward the statement toy: Trent.

Roman: I know that, Mickey. There's not a hell of a lot I know.  Found at the scene, and she has a history of animosity with the victim.

Mickey: All circumstantial.

Roman: I know that, too, but you know I have to go by whatever the D.A. decides.

Caroline: What do you think she'll say?

Roman: I don't know, to be honest with you, Ma.

Mickey: This needs to be handled tonight.

Maggie: Roman, you can't put her in jail.

Roman: Maggie, we may not have a choice. We have four witnesses placing Ma at the scene of the crime, holding what I'm sure forensics will prove to be the murder weapon. I'm just hoping the lab finds another set of fingerprints on that knife.

Stephanie: We should get to the station.

Max: You didn't answer my question.

Stephanie: Hey, I know you're not a killer.

Max: Thank you.

Stephanie: I mean, I have to admit, it did freak me out when I saw blood on your shirt.

Max: I'm sorry I didn't tell you about the fight in the first place, okay?

Stephanie: It's okay. I understand. I'm worried about you, though. You threatened your father in public.

Max: I fought with him, but I didn't kill him. I wanted to, but I didn't.

Stephanie: I believe you. I just don't want this night to come back and bite you. Come on, let's go. Your mom needs us.

Steve: Hope.

Hope: Hey, Steve. Thanks for coming down.

Steve: Well, looky here. Looks like someone finally got fed up enough with Trent Robbins to take him out, huh?

Hope: Yep, stabbed him right in the back.

Steve: [Sighs] You know Caroline couldn't have done this. You know that, right?

Hope: I know. Which is exactly why I want you to continue investigating Trent's past. Thanks to you, we know he was married to Nicole Walker. She was pretty upset about losing her settlement from Victor.

Steve: So, I guess that adds Mrs. Robbins to the suspect list then, huh?

Hope: Exactly. But I have a feeling he has a lot more skeletons in his closet.

Steve: I wouldn't be surprised. I'll keep digging, see what I can come up with.

Hope: Thank you.

Steve: Well, I don't like to speak ill of the dead, but I think a whole lot of people are gonna be better off now that Trent Robbins has met his maker.

Daniel: What are you doing?

Nicole: I'm writing a list of things I can hock online to earn some money. What do you think I could get for Pookie's princess doggie swing?

Daniel: I have no idea.

Nicole: Oh, she's gonna flip out.

Daniel: I think she'll survive.

Nicole: Oh, you don't know her. She's a spoiled little biatch, not unlike her mama.

Daniel: Aren't you gonna fight for your settlement?

Nicole: Of course. E.J. seems optimistic. However, I am preparing for the worst.

Daniel: I probably shouldn't say this, since Vic is my Godfather, but good luck with that. In the meantime, I got your blood test back. I know what's making you nauseous.

Nicole: I'm right. It's food poisoning, isn't it? So I can file my lawsuit?

Daniel: No.

Nicole: Then what's wrong with me?

Daniel: Nothing. You're pregnant.

Nicole: You have got to be kidding me.

Chloe: So, how can Philip help me with my singing career?

Lucas: Well, now that I'm the CFO at Titan, I've been trying to learn everything I can about every little division. And I discovered that the Kiriakis Foundation is underwriting the opera at Kansas City. So, if the CEO here would just make a call, maybe you could...

Chloe: I couldn't ask him to do that.

Philip: I can't promise anything, but I'd be happy to help.

Chloe: Really? Thank you so much.

Lucas: Perfect.

Chloe: Thank you. Thank you. And thank you for looking out for me.

Lucas: Well, hate to see you waste your talent on singing lullaby's your whole life.

Chloe: You're a really special guy.

Lucas: And you're a special girl.

Philip: [Clears throat] Um, I'll let you know what I find out about that call.

Lucas: Cool. Thanks. Appreciate it.

Chloe: Thank you.

Lucas: See, that worked out. [Door slams]

Philip: [Exhales]

[Camera shutters clicking] [Indistinct talking over police radio]

Jordan: We're still looking things over here, but these are the initial findings.

Hope: Okay, great. Thank you, Jordan. Oh, this is interesting.

Steve: What?

Hope: Aside from being stabbed in the back, it looks like Trent had one hell of a rough night.

Steve: What do you mean?

Hope: The report indicates that Trent had a bloody lip. Looks like he took a pretty strong punch from someone. And his knuckles are also scraped, so it looks like he landed a couple of punches during the fistfight. The report also notes that Trent's wallet was not found on his body, and it hasn't been located. And his face also had scratches from sharp fingernails.

Steve: So, are you saying you think he was jumped by a thief or something?

Hope: Anything's possible.

Steve: But you don't think so.

Hope: No.

Steve: Neither do I. I'll tell you what's possible, though. More than one person did this to him. He pissed a lot of people off.

Hope: But one person went so far as to kill him.

Steve: And I'll bet my good eye it wasn't Caroline.

Julie: What's happening?

Hope: I'm taking Ma down to lockup. D.A.'s orders.

Bo: It's gonna be okay, Ma. We'll get you out of here.

Maggie: Stay strong.

Julie: We love you, Caroline. We're all here to support you.

Caroline: Thank you, Julie.

Roman: All right, Ma. Let's go. I'll walk you down.

Caroline: Okay.

Julie: This is a travesty. There is no way your mother could have killed anybody.

Bo: I know. I agree with you. And I won't rest till I find out who killed Robbins.

Hope: Oh, Shawn. Please watch out for Caroline. She could really use your help right now.

Jordan: Detective Brady.

Hope: Yes.

Jordan: I found this piece of fiber on the victim's body.

Hope: Someone else's clothing?

Hope: Great. With any luck, this will lead us right to Trent's killer.

Mayor Marino: Don't make me call out the watch dogs, or your mother will go down, and so will all of you.

Melanie: I just want you to know your secret is safe with me.

Hope: Do you still have feelings for Nick?

Man: People respect you. The time is right, Abe. How about it?
