Trent: Give me a beer.
Trent: Nicole, I'm surprised you answered your phone. Wise choice. I need you to meet me at the pub. No, I'm -- I'm not asking you, sweetheart. I'm telling you. Unless you would like me to speak to Victor and risk losing everything you've worked so hard to achieve. No, I didn't think so. Oh, one more thing. Be sure to bring your checkbook. I've got some important business to tend to. Trent Robbins. Yeah. Listen, I want to cover the spread on the Chicago/Tampa Bay Game -- $500.
Stephanie: Oh, I never thought I'd be so excited to see the Brady Pub.
Max: Oh, yeah. I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to one of those American cheeseburgers with the onions and the pickles -- the works.
Stephanie: And French fries.
Max: Uh, don't you mean pommes frites?
Stephanie: Look at that. You did pick up the language. Très bien.
Max: Merci. No, but, um...before we go in, I just want to say thanks.
Stephanie: For what?
Max: For helping me find my sister. I know I totally derailed your summer, and I'm sorry.
Stephanie: Are you kidding? Two months in France with the man that I love? I couldn't think of a better summer.
Max: Me neither.
Stephanie: Although I could have done without the whole jail thing and Nick being shot and Melanie almost --
Max: Yeah, I-I could have done without all that, too. But, look, it's over. And we're here. Think of the stories you could tell your grandkids.
Stephanie: Yeah, but I don't want to talk about that right now. I want to eat, so...
Max: I got this. [Grunts]
Stephanie: On second thought, let's go back to the apartment so I can drop off all my stuff.
Max: What? We're already here.
Stephanie: We'll come right back. It'll take two seconds.
Max: Isn't this convenient?
Stephanie: Max, please, let's not do this, okay? We just got home. We can deal with Trent tomorrow, all right? Please? Don't do anything you're gonna regret.
Stephanie: Papa, I need your help.
Max: Hey, Dad. I'm back!
Abe: [Chuckles] Well...how are you two doing?
Kelsey: Hey, Theo, look. Daddy's home.
Abe: Hey. Hey, big guy. Yeah. [Chuckles]
Kelsey: You must have gotten off work early.
Abe: So, how was he, huh?
Kelsey: He was terrific. He loves this new color game.
Abe: Well, great. Hey, you love playing with Kelsey, huh, don't you? [Chuckles] Hey, Kelsey... look, I want to thank you for everything.
Kelsey: Any time. I love hanging with Theo.
Abe: Here you go.
Kelsey: We're still on for next week, right?
Abe: Uh, let me get back to you on that, all right?
Kelsey: Sure. Oh, I almost forgot. Mark wanted me to give this to you. It's the evaluation from his last appointment.
Abe: Great, great. Thank you. Thank you again.
Abe: We'll see you a little bit later. Take care.
Abe: Hey, you. Okay. Hey, big guy. What do we got here, huh? [Chuckles]
Kate: [Coughing] Oh, God.
Philip: I don't know what happened. She just started coughing up blood.
Maxine: Okay, the doctor's on his way.
Philip: It's gonna be okay, Mom.
Daniel: I would like you all to please take a good look at this woman. She is what this hospital is all about. Lexie treats her staff like they are family, from the heart surgeon to the janitor. And I'll tell you what -- it shows because I have never been in a hospital where the chief of staff has been so highly regarded. And these people here, they don't -- they don't just follow in her footsteps because they fear her. They do it, and they gladly do it because they respect her. Now, I hope you'll all keep that in mind when you make your decision. Thank you.
Eleanor: The question before us is very simple -- do we keep Dr. Carver as Chief of Staff, or do we let her go?
Daniel: Hey, you doing okay?
Lexie: Yeah. Thanks for all the nice things you said about me in there.
Daniel: I meant every word. They'd be fools to get rid of you.
Lexie: Well, she made some valid points. I've been distracted. I've fallen behind on the job. There's no excuse for that.
Daniel: Eleanor doesn't know you, Lex. She's just a constipated busybody with too much time on her hands.
Lexie: [Chuckles] Daniel. Look, you know, I appreciate, um, your wanting to defend me, but...I've let my personal life interfere with my responsibilities here and that is not -- you know, it's not fair to anyone.
Daniel: Are you kidding me? You are doing a hell of a job. Come on, let's -- let's be positive. I think you got a pretty good shot. Julie, Mickey, Victor -- they're all on your side. This is all gonna work in your favor, Lexie.
Philip: Hey, Lucas, it's Philip. I'm at the hospital with Mom. Look, man, you need to get down here as soon as you can.
Abe: Hey, you know what? Your daddy hasn't been around a whole lot lately. Well, that's gonna change. You and me -- we're gonna spend a lot of time together. So what do you think about that, huh? [Chuckles] Well...guess I should take a look at this evaluation. Well, well, well. What do you know about that, huh? [Chuckles]
Daniel: Lexie, you're not having second thoughts, are you?
Lexie: I -- I'm not sure what I want, Daniel, you know? I mean, I love this place, you know? I'm blessed to have a job that I thoroughly enjoy. How many people can say that?
Daniel: Well, not very many.
Lexie: Yeah, but...there is a lot of pressure, you know? I mean, not to say that I didn't expect that coming in, but...had I known that things would turn out the way they did with Theo...maybe I wouldn't have accepted the job.
Lucas: How's Mom?
Philip: She's having these really bad coughing attacks.
Lucas: She said she was fine. She said she had allergies or a mild infection.
Philip: Well, I think it's a little more than that. Right before I called you, she was coughing up blood.
Lucas: She's coughing up blood now? My God.
Philip: Hey, how's she doing?
Maxine: She's stable, but we want to order more tests.
Lucas: Good. Can we see her?
Maxine: Yeah, you can go in, but try not to let her talk too much.
Philip: Thanks. Can I talk to you for a second?
Philip: Go on in. I'll be right there.
Lucas: Mom, how are you?
Kate: Go away, now. Go.
Max: You son of a bitch.
Trent: What the hell was that about? Get me some ice.
Max: You know who I ran into in France? One of your good buddies. Oh, what was his name? Claude. Oh, yeah. You know exactly who I'm talking about. He sure likes them young, doesn't he?
Trent: I have no idea what you're talking about.
Max: Oh, the hell you don't. That sleaze was this close from raping Melanie because of you. You set her up.
Trent: Will you keep your voice down?
Max: No! You pimped out your own daughter so that you could get the money for your gambling debt?
Trent: I did nothing of the sort.
Max: You lying sack of --
Pete: Hey, Max, is everything okay?
Trent: This man attacked me.
Pete: I didn't see nothing.
Max: You ain't seen nothing yet, Trent.
Stephanie: Stop it. Fighting is not gonna solve anything.
Trent: Well, thank you, Stephanie. You know, you ought to listen to that pretty little girlfriend of yours.
Max: Steph, stay out of this. This is between us.
Melanie: You mean the three of us?
Trent: Melanie. Max didn't tell me you were here.
Trent: I can explain, sweetheart.
Melanie: No, I don't think so.
Bo: Misty Circle?
Hope: We'd like a word with you.
Kate: [Coughing] I want you to leave now.
Lucas: No, I'm not going anywhere.
Kate: Oh, God. Did Philip call you? Does the whole world know that I'm here?
Philip: Yes, I did call him. Your kids have a right to know if something's wrong.
Kate: There's nothing wrong.
Lucas: You're coughing up blood, Mom. That's not good. And neither is continuing to claim that nothing's wrong.
Kate: Philip, this is exactly the reason I wanted you to be discreet.
Philip: Hey, what did I tell you earlier? For once, you need to let someone else take care of you.
Daniel: Lexie, you have to do what makes you happy. And if this job is too much... well, maybe you should just take a break. Hey, nobody is gonna blame you for wanting to spend more time with Theo.
Lexie: He needs a full-time mother, Daniel. Not just someone who wakes him up in the morning and tucks him in at night. I need to be there for my little boy...when he goes to his therapy sessions, when he sees the doctor.
Daniel: Then you know what you have to do.
Mickey: Lexie...we're ready for you.
Eleanor: First of all, I want to thank everyone for being here today. It was a tough decision, one we didn't take lightly. After careful consideration and with the support of a majority vote, we the board --
Lexie: Before you go any further, there's something I need to say.
Eleanor: You've had your chance, Dr. Carver.
Lexie: I am resigning as chief of staff.
Mickey: You're not serious.
Lexie: I really do believe that this is best for the hospital and for me.
Julie: Lexie, are you absolutely certain that this is what you want to do?
Lexie: Yes. Ever since my husband and I found out our little boy has autism, it's been one hurdle after the other. Those of you who know me personally have seen the toll it's taken not only on my job, but on my marriage. Hopefully, in time, things will get easier, but...for now, my focus needs to be on my family. I'm not leaving the hospital. I'll continue my practice, but with a much more flexible schedule.
Eleanor: It sounds like you've given this a lot of thought.
Lexie: I have. And I want to thank those of you who had such kind words to say on my behalf, really. I mean, you -- you have no idea how much that means to me.
Eleanor: I must say, this is completely unexpected. And in view of the fact that the board voted in your favor, I must give you the option to reconsider.
Lexie: I appreciate your offer, but my family needs to come first. Excuse me.
Kate: The two of you don't have to stay.
Lucas: Well, we're staying.
Philip: Yeah, till you get those x-rays.
Kate: Oh, so you don't trust your own mother?
Lucas: No. Sorry.
Kate: Oh, come on. This is so unnecessary. [Cellphone ringing]
Lucas: Is that from...
Philip: Don't worry about it. Look, I got to get something out of the car.
Kate: Philip, what's going on? Philip.
Philip: Make sure she gets those x-rays, Lucas.
Lucas: I will. I will.
Kate: What are you both up to?
Hope: We know everything, Nicole.
Bo: Or would you prefer we call you Mrs. Trent Robbins?
Nicole: You can't be serious. You guys don't actually think I'm married to that jerk.
Hope: We have proof.
Bo: We did a little background check on the dean, uncovered some pretty interesting stuff.
Hope: Turns out, he's married.
Nicole: How about that?
Bo: To a woman who called herself Misty Circle.
Nicole: Hmm, well, good for them. You know, remind me to send them an anniversary card.
Bo: So that name doesn't ring a bell?
Nicole: Mm, nope. Sorry.
Bo: Maybe if we take her down to the station, it might jog her memory.
Hope: Work with us, Nicole.
Nicole: What do you want from me?
Hope: The truth. How about the truth?
Melanie: Seems like there are a lot of things you didn't tell me about, Dad.
Trent: You're right, so let's go home and talk about it.
Melanie: No, I'm not going anywhere.
Max: Don't you dare lay a finger on her.
Trent: Oh, look at this -- big brother protecting little sister. Isn't that heartwarming?
Max: She said no.
Melanie: Max, it's fine. I got it. Why didn't you tell me I had a brother?
Trent: Because he's not part of our life.
Melanie: Because you didn't want him to be.
Trent: Hey, that was my decision, not yours. I am your father.
Melanie: Yeah, the kind of Father who lets his daughter get raped by some creep-show pervert.
Trent: That's enough.
Melanie: I'm gonna make sure everyone knows what you did.
Max: Yeah, and when all your colleagues at the university find out what kind of guy you really are, you'll be out on your butt so fast, you won't even know what hit you. No job. No more book signings. Your life will be over, Trent.
Trent: We're leaving. Come on.
Max: I told you to keep your hands off of her!
Trent: What, have you lost your mind?
Stephanie: Max, put it down.
Max: You're a dead man.
Trent: Put the bottle down, Max.
Stephanie: Max, please don't.
Max: Give me one good reason why you should live, huh?
Trent: You don't want to murder me in front of all these witnesses.
Max: You want to bet?
Trent: Melanie, what are you gonna do, just stand there and watch him kill me?
Melanie: Do it, Max. Kill him.
Kayla: Max, cut it out!
Steve: Max, put it down! Put it down. He's not worth it.
Victor: Daniel, got a minute?
Daniel: Uh, yeah. Yeah, what's up?
Victor: I think you know what this is about.
Victor: What the hell were you thinking, Daniel?
Daniel: You can spare me the lecture. I've heard it.
Victor: Your behavior has been an embarrassment to you, to Kate, say nothing of Chelsea. God knows what that poor thing must be going through.
Daniel: Yeah, well, Chelsea wants nothing to do with me now.
Victor: How could you do this?
Daniel: You know what? This is really none of your business.
Victor: When it involves my granddaughter, it becomes my business.
Lucas: Should have told me you were sick.
Kate: I didn't want to bother you. I barely see you anymore. It seems like you're spending all your time with Chloe these days.
Kate: Oh, I didn't mean that the way it came out.
Lucas: Yeah, you did.
Kate: Yeah, I did.
Lucas: Just wish you would give her a chance, Mom.
Kate: Lucas, I just -- I just think that you are falling a little too fast and a little too hard.
Lucas: Well, she makes me happy.
Kate: Yeah? The same way that she made Philip happy? Okay. Okay, I'm gonna, um -- I'm gonna try to keep an open mind.
Lucas: Really? That's a promise?
Kate: Yeah, well, I mean, she is a step up from Sami, isn't she?
Lucas: I don't think you ever approved of any woman that has been in my life.
Kate: You know, all I really want is for you to find a woman who's going to appreciate you for how special you really are. Oh, no. Tell me that's not necessary.
Maxine: Hospital policy, Miss Roberts. Ready for those x-rays?
Lucas: Yes, she is ready for the x-rays. Come on.
Kate: Promise me -- are you going to be here when I get back?
Lucas: Yes, I will. Definitely. Wouldn't go anywhere.
Lucas: Be careful. Be careful.
Daniel: Kate and I were together only a couple of times.
Victor: How commendable of you.
Daniel: We made a mistake, all right? I feel terrible.
Victor: You know, I've come to expect this sort of thing from Kate, but not you, Daniel. You've been a great disappointment to me.
Daniel: What do you want me to say? I should have used better judgment.
Victor: I suppose we can take heart in the fact that your ill-advised dalliance with my granddaughter is over.
Daniel: No. No, I'm not giving up on Chelsea. In fact, when she gets back from her trip, we're gonna sit down and talk.
Victor: Not if I have anything to say about it.
Daniel: I don't think you do.
Victor: You are not going anywhere near my granddaughter.
Abe: Okay. So, where does that green one go, huh? All right! Way to go, Theo. Way to go. What about the yellow one? Where does the yellow one go? [Laughing] Hey, my man! Two for two! Man, wait till your mommy hears about this, huh? [Chuckles]
Abe: Yeah, you know what? She is gonna be so proud of you. Hey, let me go get us both a glass of juice, huh? How does that sound? Good? Okay. Here we go.
Abe: [Chuckling] Hey.
Lexie: Hey, my two favorite guys in the world.
Abe: So, how was the meeting?
Lexie: Hi, Theo. Sweetheart, I missed you so much today.
Lexie: Oh, it's a puzzle.
Abe: Yeah, he's been playing with this all afternoon. Hey, here, watch this. Watch this. Theo, Theo, show mommy where the red one goes, huh? Where's that red one? [Laughs]
Lexie: Oh, my God. Abe, I can't believe it.
Abe: Yeah. Yeah. I mean, he matched up the green one, the yellow one, too.
Lexie: Sweetheart. Oh, sweetheart, mommy is so proud of you.
Abe: Hey. Hey, buddy. Should we show her this, huh? Lex, take a look at that envelope. How about that, huh? [Laughs]
Lexie: This is exactly what I needed today.
Abe: All right, so, tell me. What happened at the hospital?
Lexie: Um...okay, sweetheart, you keep playing with your puzzle, okay?
Abe: What happened?
Lexie: Well, um...they took a vote and decided I could stay.
Abe: Well, that's great.
Lexie: I turned them down.
Abe: W-what do you mean?
Lexie: I resigned as chief of staff.
Philip: What's up?
Philip: They take Mom in for the x-rays?
Philip: Good. I have everything for the surprise.
Lucas: Let's hope she doesn't get too mad after what she said earlier.
Philip: She'll be too excited. Trust me, this will make her day.
Philip: Hey, no, it's cool. Answer it.
Lucas: No, it's fine. Just let it go to voicemail.
Philip: [Chuckles] Why, is that Chloe? Look, man, it's cool, really. I want her to be happy, and I want you to be happy, too.
Lucas: Really? You don't mind that I'm dating your ex? You weren't too happy when you found out what happened on the Fourth of July.
Philip: Look, we tried to make it work...twice. It just didn't work out.
Lucas: Oh, so -- so it's cool then, right?
Philip: If it wasn't, would that stop you?
Lucas: Hell no. [Laughs]
Philip: You have my blessing, Lucas.
Lucas: Thank you, Philip. It means a lot to me. I appreciate it.
Philip: How's Sami taking all this?
Lucas: [Sighs] Come on, man. How do you think?
Lucas: If I would have gotten sole custody, maybe I wouldn't have to worry about what Sami thinks.
Philip: Well, maybe you should take her back to court. A new judge might be more sympathetic.
Lucas: I don't know, man. I got to prove that I'm a reliable parent. Not easy when you don't have a job.
Philip: Hmm. Why don't you come back to work at Titan?
Abe: You resigned today? Why?
Lexie: The more I thought about it, the more I realized what's most important is Theo.
Abe: Well, of course he is. But I thought you loved your job.
Lexie: I do. I mean, I'll continue working, seeing patients. I just won't have all the stress that comes along with being chief of staff.
Abe: Well, I support your decision. I just would have liked a little heads-up.
Lexie: Well, honey, I mean, you know, if you're concerned about finances, I'll still be bringing home a paycheck. You know, you don't have to worry. You have a good job. We just have to cut corners a little. We'll make it work. Honey...what? What is it? What's wrong?
Abe: You're not the only one who resigned today. I handed in my badge.
Hope: How did this happen?
Bo: Start from the beginning.
Nicole: When I met Trent, I was a student. He was older, successful, charming, financially stable... or so I thought. I guess I figured he could take care of me, so when he asked me to marry him, I said yes.
Hope: And you used your porn name.
Nicole: That was my legal name back then, thanks to my Father. He made me change it so no one could connect me to him or my Mother. Anyway, you know, things were fine at first. He seemed like a decent guy. And...after a while, his true colors started to show. He started gambling and drinking. He was abusive.
Nicole: There was this time Trent was at the track and he must have lost a lot of money because I have never seen him so angry. He came home completely trashed. And he was yelling at me, telling me...I was a whore and that I would be on the streets if it wasn't for him.
Hope: And then what?
Nicole: And then he slammed me against the wall. And I had bruises up and down my sides for weeks. And I knew I couldn't tell anyone because he would just do it again. You're the first ones I've told.
Bo: Why did you stay married?
Nicole: After the abuse, I knew I had to get out, so one day Trent was at work and I just left. I figured it was safer to leave without telling him. I just assumed he filed for divorce.
Hope: But he didn't.
Nicole: I swear to you, I had no idea we were still married, not until a few months ago.
Hope: You realize there are legal ramifications.
Nicole: You mean Victor.
Bo: Yeah, we're gonna have to tell him.
Steve: Max, this isn't gonna end well for anyone. Now give me the bottle.
Max: I -- I can't do that, Steve.
Steve: Oh, yes, you can. You have to. You don't want to do this, Max.
Max: You have no idea how much.
Steve: Max, if you take this man's life, you'll be taking your life, too. Is that what you want? You want to spend the rest of your life in prison?
Max: That won't happen because what I'm doing here is completely justified.
Steve: Max --
Caroline: That's enough! You understand? God, who are you, Max? Are you the son that I raised? Max, please.
Max: Ma, you told me to do what's right instead of wrong, and right now I think this feels about right.
Caroline: Oh, do you think so, huh? Let me tell you something. You are wrong. I know it, and you know it. And Pop would not approve of this. Is this how you honor Pop? Max! Max, think.
Lexie: [Chuckles] I-I don't believe it. You quit?
Abe: The mayor stopped by the station. He was looking for a scapegoat for what he called "the department's deplorable response to the lock down."
Lexie: So you volunteered?
Abe: We had words. I got upset.
Lexie: Oh, great. Great. I mean, our savings are already stretched so thin.
Abe: Yeah, but let's calm down, all right, Lex.
Lexie: Do you know how much Theo's therapies cost?
Abe: Of course I do.
Lexie: Mortgage, car payments.
Abe: Lexie, Lexie, listen to me, listen to me. Just trust me, all right? Things are gonna be fine. I'm already fielding offers from consulting firms in the private sector.
Lexie: Why now? You've been on the force for over 20 years.
Abe: Things aren't the same way they used to be. How can I possibly work in a system that I don't believe in? Corrupted by Stefano DiMera.
Lexie: That's what this is about? My Father?
Abe: Stefano has been pulling the strings for far too long. And it is time that somebody stepped up to stop him.
Philip: Come on, bro. Don't tell me you got to think about this. It's a no-brainer -- good salary, good benefits.
Lucas: Three weeks vacation.
Philip: What do you think this is, Sweden? I'll give you four. You in?
Lucas: Yeah, yeah, I'm in.
Philip: It's good to have you back, bro.
Lucas: Thanks. I'm gonna hold you to that vacation time. I'm serious.
Philip: Not a problem. I think we should get this set up before Mom comes back.
Lucas: All right. What do we do?
Philip: Just get this open.
Maxine: Be sure to stop by the desk before you go.
Kate: I will. Thank you, Maxine. What's all this?
Lucas: How'd it go?
Kate: It went fine. Why is there a computer here?
Philip: Mom, I think it's time for a family meeting.
Kate: Oh, come on, you guys. [Sighs] A video chat?
Philip: One more second.
Billie: Mom, it's me.
Kate: Oh, Billie. Oh, what a surprise.
Philip: Hey, hold on. [Keyboard keys clacking]
Austin: Well, you look great. I mean, well, as always.
Kate: Oh, Austin. Oh, my God. I don't believe this. Oh.
Daniel: Look, it's been a long time since I had real feelings for a woman. I mean, not since Rebecca. Chelsea is important to me, and I'm gonna find a way to get her back.
Victor: Well, she's important to me, too. So I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you.
Daniel: Why --
Maxine: Miss Roberts' x-rays.
Daniel: Thank you, Maxine.
Victor: Are they Kate's?
Daniel: I really can't discuss that with you.
Victor: It's her cough, isn't it? She's my son's mother.
Daniel: Philip brought her in for some tests.
Victor: Is she still here?
Daniel: Well, she was in the trauma center.
Caroline: Max, please. Think about Pop. Think -- think what he'd say if he were here right now. Come on, he was a gentle man. He was kind, and he didn't believe in violence. Oh, Max, please put that down for Pop, will ya? Come on, let Trent go. Please, darling.
Bo: Max...let him go.
Caroline: Oh, God.
Bo: What the hell is going on here?
Trent: That man tried to kill me, and I am pressing charges.
Max: Oh, yeah? Well, so am I.
Trent: On what grounds?
Max: You forced your own daughter into prostitution.
Trent: Don't be absurd. I want him arrested now for attempted murder.
Kayla: You have got to be kidding.
Bo: Take it easy, everybody. Try to relax. Max, come here. Sit down. Let's go.
Stephanie: What the hell is your problem?
Stephanie: Why would you encourage Max like that after everything he's done for you? You really want to see him in prison for the rest of his life?
Bo: What the hell are you doing, Max?
Max: I should have killed that son of a bitch.
Bo: Shut your mouth! Shut your mouth right now. You're in enough trouble as it is. Talk to me. Tell me what the hell's going on.
Lexie: Your attention right now is to be on our son, not on Stefano.
Abe: That's why I'm doing it. For Theo, for our family.
Lexie: No, if you really want to help our family, you do not go after my Father.
Abe: Sorry, Lex. I can't do that.
Lexie: Oh, my God.
Lexie: Oh, my God. Oh, my God. He finished the train puzzle.
Lexie: Oh, sweetheart.
Abe: That is terrific. That's terrific.
Lexie: Oh, honey, we are so proud of you.
Lexie: Oh, God. Oh.
Kate: Bye. I love you, too.
Lucas: Come visit soon.
Kate: We should do that more often.
Philip: I hope you paid attention to what they said.
Lucas: That's right. You got to take care of yourself.
Kate: Yes, yes, I know. Your little intervention worked.
Philip: So you'll do what the doctors say?
Kate: Yes, darling.
Lucas: Yeah, you gonna take it easy? You promise?
Kate: Yes, darling. Now, which of you boys are going to drive me to work?
Lucas: [Chuckles] No, no.
Kate: I'm only kidding.
Victor: Oh, there you are.
Philip: Dad, what are you doing here?
Victor: Well, I heard your mother had some x-rays taken.
Kate: Oh, you really did call everyone.
Victor: Daniel's the one who told me.
Daniel: This can't be right. Can you see that Dr. Faulk in Pulmonology gets another set of these, please?
Maxine: Of course, doctor.
Nick: You seem pretty calm for somebody whose career is about to go up in smoke.
Trent: Mm, now what makes you think that, Mr. Fallon?
Nick: Well, when people at the university find out about who you really are, I think your reputation might be compromised.
Trent: Then we won't let that happen, will we?
Nick: Don't expect any help from me.
Trent: You know, Nick, it might not be wise for someone with your academic potential to cross me.
Nick: Is that a threat?
Trent: No, it's simply some friendly advice for one of our brightest young minds. You might want to think twice about spreading any dis-information about me.
Kayla: Well, this is quite the welcome home.
Hope: I'll say.
Bo: Come on, Max. What the hell's going on here?
Max: I was protecting my family. It's as simple as that.
Bo: By threatening to kill a man in a restaurant full of people?
Max: If you knew what he did --
Bo: Whatever it was, you got to let me handle it.
Steve: He's right. If he presses charges, you could go away for a long time.
Kayla: That's not gonna happen, is it, Bo?
Bo: First step into making sure it doesn't is you got to suck it up, go over there, and apologize.
Max: You want me to apologize to that scum? No way.
Kayla: That's a very good idea.
Max: I'm only sorry that I didn't kill the bastard when I had the chance.
Trent: Melanie. I certainly hope we can rise above all this.
Melanie: Do not count on it.
Trent: If I'm willing to forgive you for that outrageous little outburst of yours, I expect the same in return.
Melanie: Forgive you? Not in a million years. I hate you for what you did to me.
Melanie: No! No! I hate you, and I would kill you with my bare hands if I could!
Victor: Nicole, what the hell are you babbling about now?

Lexie: Why'd you do it?
Trent: This isn't the end of this. No one smears my good name and gets away with it.
