Melanie: Can I come in?

Max: It's open.

Melanie: I'm starving. Do you have anything to eat?

Max: I think there's peanut butter and jelly in the mini fridge if you want that.

Melanie: I don't like peanut butter. You're really getting into the French cuisine I see.

Max: I'm partial to Italian.

Melanie: [Chuckles] So, are you sure you don't have anything? Fruit? Nuts? Piece of gum?

Max: Sorry. Mel, why don't you sit down?

Melanie: Why? What's going on?

Max: Well, I think we should get to know each other better. I mean, I want to know about your life.

Melanie: No, actually, you don't.

Chelsea: Did you get new shoes, Theo? They're very cool. Mommy said that you went swimming yesterday. Did you go in the water?

Theo: Water.

Chelsea: Very good. You went swimming in the water. That's right. What do you have? Theo, can I see it? Theo, can I please see it? Theo, can I see it, please? Thank you. Thank you. Very good job, Theo. It's a plastic top. That is awesome. Here. Thank you for showing it to me. Come here, buddy.

Stefano: It's certainly good to be home. I've missed all this, but... maybe not this. [Chuckles] But the rest of the art, my music.

Tony: Yes, I'm sure you have, Father.

Stefano: Care to join me?

Tony: No, thank you.

Stefano: Elvis.

E.J.: Sure. Why not?

Stefano: Ah. So, Elvis, I am told...that you are working for John. Is that true?

E.J.: I'm working for Mickey Horton's Law Firm. John's a client.

Tony: Yes, and John has his plate full right now.

E.J.: That's an understatement.

Stefano: Something tells me that John's world is gonna come tumbling down.

Tony: And you must be utterly delighted.

Stefano: [Chuckles]

Hope: I don't believe it.

Roman: I know what you mean. There's no doubt Stefano was behind the attack on Marlena, the gassing and lock down of the hospital.

Abe: According to the D.A., we have no solid evidence.

Roman: We had false imprisonment for holding John against his will.

Abe: D.A.'s not gonna press charges. He said if John wants, he can file a civil suit against Stefano.

Roman: And it's hard to know how the new John will react.

Hope: He has to file charges. What Stefano did to him was inhumane.

Roman: Well, there is no doubt the man needs to be brought to justice. The problem is Stefano seems to have connections everywhere.

Morgan: Detective Brady, how much longer until I can see my Father?

Bo: He's still being processed. It could take a while. Why don't you have a seat?

Morgan: [Sighs]

Philip: How you doing?

Morgan: Still the same, Philip. I'm waiting to see my Father.

Philip: Have you thought about what I said?

Morgan: About giving you an apology because you didn't actually kill my Father? Yeah, keep dreaming 'cause it's not gonna happen.

Philip: Morgan, we need to talk about this, okay?

Morgan: No, we don't.

Bo: Philip. Just because Paul was found alive doesn't mean we're off the hook.

Philip: I know that.

Bo: Internal affairs is gonna ask me about that recording. I have no idea what's gonna happen.

John: I received a call about Paul Hollingsworth. Is there something I can do for you?

Mark: Hey. Hey, Chelsea.

Chelsea: Hey, Mark. Hey, Theo, Mark's here.

Mark: Hey, buddy. Are you ready? Look, I got a ball. Do you want to play with it?

Chelsea: Theo, it's time to go with mark, okay? Come on.

Mark: Here we go. Let's go over here. [Whispering indistinctly]

Daniel: You're very good with Theo.

Chelsea: Yeah, he's a great kid.

Daniel: That's wonderful the way he responds to you.

Chelsea: Daniel, I can't do this.

Daniel: Chelsea, listen, you have to know I never meant to hurt you. What happened between me and Kate is in the past. It is over.

Chelsea: Yeah, I know that. You don't have to keep saying it.

Daniel: Look, I know how difficult this is for you.

Chelsea: I really don't think that you do.

Daniel: What I did in the past has nothing to do with us, has nothing to do with what we have now. 'Cause I care about you, Chelsea. You. You mean the world to me.

E.J.: So, how did you do it, Father?

Stefano: [Sighs] How did I do what? Be more specific. I'm too exhausted for guessing games.

E.J.: Well, one second you're being led out of here in handcuffs by Bo Brady, and the next minute you're prancing around like nothing happened.

Stefano: 'Cause I have friends. Friends I can count on. Which is more than I can say for my own children.

Tony: Oh, hold on. Here comes the melodrama.

Stefano: Never mind the melodrama, okay? You're a disgrace -- the both of you and your sister. You ship me off in my paralytic state to some rotten institution and never look back. You should be ashamed.

Tony: We were told that you were paralyzed and in an irreversible coma. What were we supposed to do?

Stefano: Take care of me. That's what families do, Antony. But instead [Chuckles] You turned on me, so hear this -- I am done. Finito. As of this moment, you are all disowned.

Morgan: What in God's name did you do to my Father? He is so terrified that he won't even talk to me.

John: What's she ranting about?

Bo: We found Paul.

John: Yes, Roman told me that in his phone call.

Bo: He claimed he was gonna turn himself in when we arrested him.

John: Oh, that's interesting. What does it have to do with me?

Bo: There's gonna be a thorough investigation, so... why don't you just save us the time and the taxpayers' money -- tell us what you did to him.

John: Oh, to hell with Paul. Why don't you tell me why Stefano is in my house and not behind your bars after everything he's done?

Max: How did you end up in France?

Melanie: Long story.

Max: Well, I got a lot of time, so you can start from the beginning if you want.

Melanie: Well, we moved around a lot when I was a kid. And Dad taught at a bunch of colleges in the states, mainly in the Midwest, working his way up the academic ladder.

Max: That must have been nice. You saw the country.

Melanie: It was cool at first, but those small college towns are pretty lame. There's not much going on there. Dad took a sabbatical, and we moved to Paris for a bit. That was pretty cool. Maxed out on pastries, gained like 20 pounds.

Max: So you lived in France ever since then?

Melanie: No, eventually Dad got a full-time professorship and we moved to Ann Arbor.

Max: University of Michigan. That's not far away from Salem.

Melanie: And that's when I first got into trouble. It was the 6th grade. I stole a teacher's wallet, and I used the money to buy clothes. And I got busted. And Dad couldn't deal with it or whatever, so he shipped me off to the first of many boarding schools.

Max: How many?

Melanie: I've lost count. I get kicked out of one and he'd find another one to hold me for a while. And then eventually, a year ago, I talked him into letting me come back to France.

Max: Oh, to the all-girls school.

Melanie: Exactly. I guess he figured the all-girl part would keep me out of trouble.

Max: Right. So, are you taking classes?

Melanie: No. Uh...my Dad thinks I'm in summer school, 'cause, I mean, come on. A girl's got to have fun.

Max: Right. Um, so when are you graduating?

Melanie: Who knows? Who cares? For now, I like to chill and find parties and hang out.

Max: Well, you can't hang out forever.

Melanie: Maybe not. For now it's cool. I'll take a class or two to keep Dad happy and to stay here. I don't think Dad would understand if I dropped out.

Max: Oh, probably not.

Melanie: He means well. We just don't get along.

Max: It's ironic, isn't it?

Melanie: What?

Max: Well, Trent rejects me and, uh, here you are -- the one he wanted and you're rejecting him.

Daniel: Why can't you just try and forget? It is over, done.

Chelsea: I can't look at you the same way.

Daniel: Damn it, Chelsea. Listen to me -- you have to know this. When I was with Kate, it had nothing to do with you. It's me. It is all me. It's who I was before I even met you. Do you understand that?

Chelsea: Yes, I understand, and I'm trying to be objective about it. I know that you and Kate never set out to hurt me.

Daniel: Yeah.

Chelsea: It's just funny, though.

Daniel: What?

Chelsea: Aside from my parents and Hope, you and Kate are probably the people that care about me the most.

Daniel: Yeah. Yeah, that's right.

Chelsea: I guess that's why it hurts so much.

Tony: Correct me if I'm wrong, but I assumed that we were disowned when you took us out of the will.

Stefano: Indeed. And let me make it perfectly clear -- I am disowning you again. Now, what I need is a little peace and quiet, so if you would please just leave.

Lucas: Well, hello, everyone.

Stefano: Oh. Do you always barge in to someone's house without ringing the bell?

Lucas: I live here.

Stefano: Since when?

Lucas: What are you doing here?

Stefano: This is my home.

Lucas: Why aren't you in jail?

Stefano: Because I have done nothing wrong. What the hell has John been running here? A damn hotel? Uh...Miss Lane, do you live here as well?

Chloe: No, I do not.

Stefano: Good.

Lucas: I just came by to get my things. I'm moving out.

Stefano: Ah, now, thank goodness. Somebody has come to his senses. Now, if only the rest of you would follow suit.

Lucas: Get my stuff, and I'll be out of your way.

[Doorbell rings]

Stefano: Oh, my goodness. Now who is it? Would somebody please get the door? Tony, do me a favor? Would you mind getting that?

Victor: Gentlemen.

Stefano: Ah.

Victor: I took the liberty of letting myself in.

Stefano: [Chuckles] Victor, my friend. I heard about your debilitating stroke.

Victor: And I heard about your debilitating coma.

Stefano: [Chuckles] So, I am very glad to see that you are up and about.

Victor: You too.

Stefano: Uh, excuse me. Boys, would you mind giving us a little privacy? We want to catch up a little bit. Tony, if you don't mind, shut the doors, all right?

E.J.: Certainly.

Stefano: Thank you.

E.J.: Victor.

Victor: So, tell me, Stefano, this time are you here to stay?

Stefano: Most definitely. Sit down, please. Get comfortable.

Victor: Thank you. I never thought I'd be saying this, but it's a pleasure doing business with you again.

Stefano: The feeling is mutual, Victor.

Victor: Just like old times.

Stefano: Precisely. What is it that they say? Um...everything old is new again. [Both chuckle]

John: How is it that that son of a bitch is free?

Bo: D.A.'s not filing charges.

John: And how's that possible?

Bo: Corruption. Failed bureaucracy.

John: Ah, and here I was counting on Salem's finest to lock him up and lose the key.

Bo: I'm with you there. Your long-lost brother deserves to be behind bars.

John: Instead he's back in my mansion, guzzling my liquor, and that doesn't work for me, so tell me, detective, isn't there something that you and your cohorts can do about this?

Bo: I'm on restricted duty.

Abe: What's going on out here?

John: I want to know why Stefano isn't in jail.

Abe: Just hold on, John.

John: Listen, if you men can't do your job, I'll just sue the bastard myself.

Abe: It's your prerogative.

John: You're damn right it is.

Abe: You know, actually, we hope that you do. If you file suit, it may be the only way we get the bastard.

John: Well, you know me. Anything to help.

Abe: Bo, internal affairs wants to talk to you. You ready? Let's go.

John: Well, I hope at least you get what's coming to you.

Bo: Same to you, old friend.

John: So, the district attorney isn't filing charges. Now, why is that?

Roman: Stefano found someone to pull some strings.

John: You mean he paid them off.

Roman: Unfortunately, we have no evidence of that. Besides, John, if I were you, I'd worry more about yourself. You are still the suspect in the Hollingsworth case. And it will be very interesting to find out what Paul has to say about why and where he disappeared to, won't it?

Morgan: Oh, Daddy. Oh, I was so worried about you. What did you tell them? What's gonna happen?

Paul: Don't worry, sweetheart. I'm gonna be all right. Hey, Kiriakis, today's your lucky day.

Victor: Well, I have to thank you for telling me that John was hiding Paul and that he escaped.

Stefano: Oh, no, no, no. You have to talk to my man Rolf. He's the one that knew about it.

Victor: Ah, well, I owe you.

Stefano: Well, let's hope one day I will collect.

Victor: Of course. I do need one point of clarification, though.

Stefano: And that would be?

Victor: Well, my reason for wanting the Hollingsworth case closed is obvious. I mean, I needed to protect my son Philip. But why would you go out on a limb for John?

Stefano: [Sighs] Let's say this move is all about control.

Daniel: I know you're trying to be objective.

Chelsea: I am. Look, I understand that what happened with you and Kate had nothing to do with me, but just because I understand that doesn't mean I can accept it or move on.

Daniel: Okay. Okay, so what can I do?

Chelsea: Nothing. Daniel, you warned me from the beginning. You kept telling me over and over again, and I just didn't listen. I kept thinking I could change everything.

Daniel: I know what I want. It's you, Chelsea Brady. And I admit I've made some mistakes. I've let my past get in my way. I used it as a crutch, as an excuse to not get involved with you, but you saw through me -- flaws and all. And I don't want to move on or let go. I am not perfect, and I am truly sorry that I hurt you, but I am not gonna let you just walk out of my life.

Chelsea: Daniel.

Daniel: If you need time and space to get your bearings, I understand that. But, Chelsea, do not give up on us.

Lucas: Ow.

E.J.: What do you think you're doing, Lucas?

Lucas: I told you, I'm moving out.

E.J.: With Allie's stuff?

Lucas: As soon as I win custody, I'm taking my daughter out of this pit of human degradation.

Stefano: More wonderful news.

E.J.: You know, I really still can't believe you're planning on pursuing this, Lucas.

Lucas: It's between me and Sami. You need to butt out.

Stefano: Yes, indeed. As a matter of fact, leave, all right? Run away, fast as you can, Lucas. Go, go, go, go.

Lucas: Yeah, I will. My pleasure. There you go.

Stefano: That's one down. Now, if only you ingrates would please do the same.

Tony: Anna and I have no intention of moving out.

E.J.: While we're talking about it, Samantha and I are extremely comfortable, as are the twins.

Stefano: We shall see.

Tony: Face it, Father. E.J. and I have every right to be here.

Stefano: Hmm. Are you challenging me?

E.J.: Actually, yes. I think we are.

Stefano: Hmm. I see. Well [Clears throat] What about John Black? He seems to be under the misguided assumption that he is still in control of my holdings.

Tony: He can be handled.

Stefano: Yes, he can. And so can you. You two have no idea what you are doing.

E.J.: Oh, I wouldn't be so sure about that. See, we've learned quite a lot watching you.

Stefano: [Chuckles] Ah, yes. Elvis, my observant son. I'm sure you have. But, you know, I'm not worried, because the bottom line here is that Stefano DiMera will win one way or the other. So...here is to my sons. Go ahead. Bring it on.

Melanie: So, how'd you end up being adopted?

Max: Trent left my mother when I was really young. And then when she died, dear old Dad didn't want anything to do with me, so he put me in foster care and never talked to him after that.

Melanie: Oh, my God. Are you serious?

Max: It's not something I like to kid about. Look, I ended up living in an abusive foster home until I was rescued by one of the older kids named Frankie. And Frankie took me under his wing, and we were both adopted by the Brady's.

Melanie: I had no idea Dad had another child. I mean, he never mentioned you in all of these years. No, I'm an idiot. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to say it like that.

Max: It's fine, okay? Look, I know Trent doesn't care about me. Never did. [Cellphone rings]

Melanie: Dad.

Trent: Melanie, I've been trying to reach you. Where have you been?

Melanie: Yeah, sorry. I've been busy, what with finishing summer school and all.

Trent: Why haven't you returned my calls?

Melanie: Yeah, I'm sorry about that. But, listen, I don't have a lot of time, so what do you need?

Trent: I need you to tell me exactly what is going on.

Roman: Okay, Paul, I've got your statement here. It says you left town on your own volition and came back voluntarily to turn yourself in. Is that correct?

Paul: Yeah, that's correct.

Roman: And that you are pleading guilty to planting the cocaine in John's shipment as well as setting fire to the storage warehouse on the docks that contained John's confiscated goods. Is that also correct?

Paul: You know what? You got my statement there. It's all there.

Roman: Yeah. Yeah, I've read your statement. All right, John, you know what? I think it'd be a real good idea if you waited outside. I need to talk to Mr. Hollingsworth in private. Okay, now, you said you left town on your own.

Paul: Yeah.

Roman: Well, your daughter told me that you said your life was threatened and that you feared for your safety.

Paul: Well, you know, Morgan always tends to be a little over-dramatic.

Roman: I don't think so, Paul. I don't think so at all. We did find your jacket floating in the river. Now, my guess is this -- my guess is that you were kidnaped and held somewhere, possibly by John Black. How's that for a theory?

Paul: Well, that's a pretty good theory. Just not true.

Roman: You're absolutely sure about that.

Paul: Yeah, I'm sure.

Roman: Mm-hmm. Okay, what about the cocaine?

Paul: What about it?

Roman: It's expensive. It's very expensive, and there was a whole lot of it. Where did you get it?

Paul: [Chuckles]

Roman: Oh, Paul. Paul, come on. You turned yourself in. You are under police protection, and nothing is going to happen to you. But if you tell me the truth, I can pretty much guarantee that I can cut a deal, and I would advise you strongly to think about that very seriously. So, why don't you tell me about Philip Kiriakis? We're pretty certain he purchased the drugs. Did he pay you to plant them on John's ship?

Paul: Nah. No, Philip Kiriakis wasn't involved.

Roman: Okay, let me get this straight, Paul. You're saying that your statement is true, that you were not coerced or paid by anybody to commit these crimes.

Paul: Yeah. Yeah, that's right. I did it. Just me. And I'm ready to face the consequences for my actions.

Roman: Damn it, Paul. You realize you're giving me no choice but to turn over these charges and your confession to the D.A. for prosecution. You will be put in holding pending your arraignment.

Paul: That's what I deserve.

Roman: You know what? I've been doing this a long time. I know you're covering. I'm just not sure why.

Paul: Well, no disrespect, commander, but you're wrong.

Roman: Paul, think about this. You have an incredible daughter. Think about her.

Paul: Trust me, I am.

Roman: Okay, then. Let's go. All right, Dillon, take Mr. Hollingsworth down to holding. Let him say goodbye to his daughter.

Paul: Hey, honey, you didn't have to wait.

Morgan: Daddy, what's going on? What's happening?

Paul: I'm going to jail.

Morgan: Daddy, you didn't do all of those terrible things, okay? I know that. Tell me the truth so I can help you.

Paul: Morgan, it's too late for that. You need to be strong now. And you need to take care of yourself. Oh, honey, you are the best thing in my life. Don't ever forget that.

Officer: Sir, it's time to go.

Morgan: Not yet.

Paul: It's gonna be okay. I love you.

Morgan: Daddy.

Philip: Morgan.

Morgan: No. Commander Brady, you have to help my Father. He did not do those things. He's not guilty.

Roman: Well, Philip, do you have something you'd like to say? [Cellphone rings]

John: Yes.

Stefano: I assume you are free like myself.

John: How'd you do it, old man?

Stefano: None of your business. Suffice it to say I interceded on your behalf, Paul caved, and now you have me to thank for your freedom.

John: And why is that?

Stefano: Why? Because I want something in return.

John: Oh, of course you do.

Stefano: [Chuckles] You are to remain silent about everything that went on in my laboratory and how you became the man you are today.

John: How did you convince Hollingsworth not to rat me out?

Stefano: How do you think? Huh? I threatened his daughter. It's all about leverage, John. [Chuckles] Now I got you.

John: No, you stole my life. I can put you away for good.

Stefano: Perhaps. But if you do, you'll end up the same. One word, and I assure you that Mr. Hollingsworth will renege on his confession and the truth will come out. Tread lightly...brother.

Lexie: Don't mind me. I'm just here to pick up Theo.

Chelsea: Oh, uh, I can get him if you want. I know you're busy, so I'll wait. [Beeping]

Daniel: Uh, this shouldn't take long. Quick meds question. Um, Chelsea, don't go anywhere.

Chelsea: I can take him for ice cream after his session.

Lexie: Are you sure?

Chelsea: Yeah, I love to spend time with him.

Lexie: Well, actually, that'd be great. There is something I'd like to do concerning my Father.

Chelsea: Yeah, I heard that he was back.

Lexie: Uh-huh, and, um, according to Abe, they've been told not to press any charges against him by the D.A.'s office and the governor's.

Chelsea: That's unbelievable.

Lexie: Not if you know my Father. I'm gonna find out what he's up to. Listen, thanks for doing this. You have my cell number, right?

Chelsea: Mm-hmm.

Lexie: Thanks again.

Daniel: Lexie leave? So, what do you say? Can we try again?

Chelsea: I wish we could, but no. It's not gonna happen.

Daniel: If you really wanted it to --

Chelsea: I do want to. I want it more than anything. I want you more than anything.

Daniel: Okay, then. That's it.

Chelsea: I could never be with you without thinking of you with her. I'm sorry. I can't do this. It's over. Go. This time, don't bother coming back.

Melanie: Whoa, Dad, really? Uh, could we talk about this later?

Trent: Melanie, you have maxed out your credit card. Now, this has to stop. I want to know what you've been doing besides shopping and more shopping.

Melanie: Yeah, we'll talk about this later, okay? Bye.

Max: Why didn't you tell him?

Melanie: I can't. I'm not 18.

Max: He's in control.

Melanie: That is what he thinks, but the second I'm legal, it is a whole 'nother story. Until then, dear old Daddy's got to think I am studying my little heart out over here.

Max: Okay, why don't you come back with Steph and me? You could talk to Trent. You could tell him the truth.

Melanie: No, Max, you don't get it, okay? I need my freedom.

Max: So just come with us. You don't have to stay.

Melanie: And put myself under Dad's control? No. No way.

Max: I will keep that from happening, Mel.

Melanie: Yeah, right. Look, Max, I know you mean well, okay? But can you please just not get involved?

Max: I'm already involved. I'm your brother.

Max: Look, I came all the way to France to find my sister. And whether you like it or not, we're family. And I'm now officially a part of your life.

Melanie: I guess I'm just not used to so much attention.

Max: Well, get used to it. Now, I'm gonna -- I'm gonna go out for a little while, and I'm gonna take my wallet with me.

Melanie: Funny. You're funny.

Max: Just, uh...think about what I said, all right?

Tony: How do you live with yourself, Father?

Stefano: [Sighs] What is it now, Antony?

Tony: That diabolical scenario you pulled off at the hospital -- it was horrendous. People passing out left and right.

Stefano: I had absolutely nothing to do with what went on at University Hospital.

Tony: You were there. We all saw you. We spoke to you.

Stefano: Elvis said that Samantha was hallucinating. I am sure that others had visions, too.

Tony: You were not a vision, Father. You were a patient in the hospital when the lock down happened.

Stefano: No, no, no, no. See, I was a patient before, hmm. Now, I came out of my coma, and I left the hospital before the whole thing came apart.

E.J.: I'm sorry, Father. We're just having a bit of a problem with your time line.

Tony: Oh, he's lying through his teeth.

Stefano: Say what you want, but I am perfectly innocent. And I dare you to prove otherwise.

John: I thought we were done here.

Roman: We need to talk about the civil suit and the charges you're filing against Stefano.

John: No, we don't.

Roman: Say that again?

John: I'm not gonna sue.

Roman: Why not?

John: Well, let's just say that I've...changed my mind.

[Cellphone rings]

Philip: Dad, what's up?

Victor: Everything's been taken care of.

Philip: What are you talking about?

Victor: Paul Hollingsworth. He's taking the fall for the cocaine, and you, my son, are in the clear.

Chelsea: Theo, you did very well today, honey. We're gonna go get ice cream, but before we go, I have to tell you something very important. Theo, can you look at me, please? Good. I'm gonna be gone for a little while, going someplace far away, but I will be back very soon. I promise. You understand?

Nick: You want an espresso?

Max: I need something stronger.

Nick: What's wrong?

Max: It's Melanie.

Nick: What now?

Max: I had a long talk with her, and she's sort of opening up, but I don't know.

Nick: Well, tell me.

Max: I feel like she's hiding something.

Nick: Well, that's kind of her thing, right?

Max: Yeah. Look, Stephanie thinks that it's a lost cause and she's told me just to give up and go home.

Nick: Well, are you going to?

Max: Honestly, Nick...I don't know what to do.

Melanie: Hey, send a car for me, will you? Uh, yeah, things are getting a little too intense around here.

Roman: John...I thought you said you wanted to nail the bastard.

John: I told you that I've... had a change of heart.

Roman: About Stefano? Come on, John. What's going on here?

John: Nothing. I just don't want to get drawn into a long lawsuit where I would be forced to confront the son of a bitch. Besides, my -- my recall isn't that great. I don't remember much of what he did to me, so I really don't stand a snowball's chance in hell of winning, so why bother?

Roman: The man tortured you, stole your memory, stuck you in a laboratory like a rat. I would say that you have a hell I have.

John: Philip. Looks like we're back on. That's right. I'm not calling a truce with you or Stefano. Ah, that's right again. The old bastard is back. You know, somehow he wriggled or bought his way out of prosecution.

Philip: So did you.

John: And you.

Philip: Are you gonna go after him?

John: What do you think?

Philip: I know I would if someone kept me prisoner and messed with my brain.

John: The old man hasn't taken control yet. And as long as I'm around, he never will.

Stefano: [Sighs] Listen carefully, my sons. I am back, I am free, and from now on, I will be calling the shots around here. Any questions?

Lexie: Sorry if I'm not being patient enough. I just refuse to sit around and do nothing.

Trent: Trent Robbins.

Marlena: Oh, yes.

Trent: Maybe we got off on the wrong foot.

E.J.: This is about restoring honor to the DiMera name. It's about our legacy.

Stefano: Trust me, the DiMera legacy is in very good hands.
