Kate: Chelsea is very upset about her grandfather. I'm glad she has you to lean on.
Daniel: Are you sure about that?
Kate: Yes. All I want is for her to be happy, and she can never find out what happened between us... because it would kill her.
Chloe: Yes, Mom. He's going back to prison, and it's all my fault. Well, remember how I told you I was upset about Philip? Well, I needed someone to talk to. But I never expected for Lucas to break his house arrest, and I definitely never meant for us to end up having sex in an elevator.
Nicole: Say what?
Chloe: [Sighs] Yeah, I got to go, Mom. Give joy a hug for me and tell Dad I love him, all right? Okay, bye.
Nicole: You little tramp. Ow. Hey, hey. I am shocked. Do you call your mommy every time you have sex?
Chloe: Is this what your life has come to now, Nicole -- eavesdropping on other people's phone conversations?
Nicole: Well, it was kind of hard to ignore. I mean, you were practically wailing. But then when you got to the really steamy part, I was totally hooked.
Chloe: Go away, Nicole.
Nicole: It is true. You and Lucas had sex.
Sami: What? No, you didn't.
Nicole: Oh, oh, yeah. They did, Sami. I heard it right from the horse's mouth.
Sami: Lucas would never do that.
Nicole: Well, it sounds to me like he did.
Sami: No, it sounds to me like Chloe's just making up stories to get attention.
Chloe: No, I'm not. It's true. Lucas and I had sex last night.
Sami: You're lying.
Chloe: You know what? I don't have time for you. If you don't believe me, just go ask Lucas.
Sami: Why? Why would you and Lucas --
Nicole: Take it from me, Sami. Lucas is a horndog. I mean, when we were married, we did the nasty day and night.
Sami: Shut up! No one asked you. How? How did you and Lucas ever --
Chloe: You know what? You have been two-timing Lucas ever since he got out of prison.
Sami: Really? Is that your excuse for trying to steal Lucas from me?
Chloe: That's not what happened.
Sami: How about you enlighten me?
Chloe: I needed a friend, and so did Lucas. Lucas called me because he was very upset. He overheard E.J. and Nicole talking. E.J. told her that you admitted to still having feelings for him.
Sami: How did I know you were involved with this?
Chloe: Lucas needed to get out, and he came to the Salem Inn.
Sami: Really? And you just let him? Didn't even occur to you that he would be breaking house arrest?
Chloe: No, I told him not to risk it, but he came anyway. I mean, come on. He's a grown man. What was I supposed to do?
Nicole: Apparently not Lucas.
Chloe: Shut up, Nicole. You're not helping.
Nicole: I know.
Sami: Well, I hope you're happy, because Lucas is on his way back to prison, and his daughter is gonna grow up without a father. I hope you sleep at night.
Chloe: I'm sorry about that. I really am. But this is all your fault, Sami, not mine.
Sami: Really? Because I don't think I'm the one who seduced him into breaking house arrest.
Chloe: No, you ignored him and treated him like dirt. You've been playing Lucas and E.J. like puppets, having them dance around while you come and go, trying to decide which one to cut loose. You know what? It's time you face it, Sami -- you have no one to blame but yourself!
Sami: You bitch!
Bo: This place is starting to feel like my second home.
Philip: Tell me about it. Between you and my mom and Chelsea...
Bo: Kay and her baby. Now Victor. [Sighs] It's good that he's sleeping. He needs his rest. Whatever he had to tell us, it can wait.
Philip: He's got to be okay.
Bo: I'm with you there. I don't want to lose another father.
Philip: It's not your time, Dad. You and I have had our differences lately. That's because of me... being stubborn... thinking I know too much. But the truth is I don't know... anything. I have a lot to learn... about the business -- I mean, hell, about life. I need you, Dad. Please don't leave me.
Bo: Hey, come on. I'm not giving up. You can't give up. He's gonna make it. There's a lot of people who need him.
Chelsea: What were you guys talking about?
Kate: Chelsea, I didn't know you were there.
Chelsea: I overheard you saying something about grandpa. Is he that bad?
Kate: No. At least, I don't think he is. But Daniel was about to brief us on his condition.
Daniel: Preliminary tests show that victor had an ischemic stroke.
Chelsea: Oh, my God.
Kate: Sweetie. So, what does that mean?
Daniel: Well, it means there's a clot in one or more of the arteries, blocking the blood flow to the brain.
Chelsea: Well, you can fix that, right?
Daniel: Well, I have our top neurologist evaluating the case right now. And Victor's currently receiving a new clot-busting drug.
Chelsea: Are there any risks?
Daniel: Well, there are definite risks involved. Now, depending on the type of stroke and the time factor, you know, the effects of this drug can really just be quite remarkable.
Chelsea: He's got to be okay.
Daniel: Look, I am -- I got to be honest with you, Chelsea. It could go either way.
Chelsea: Well, you've got to save him.
Chloe: You freaking psycho! What's wrong with you?!
Chloe: Take that, you conniving bitch!
Nicole: Hey, you and the rolls! All right, amateurs!
Sami: You are so gonna pay for this!
Pete: Hey, hey, hey, hey! What are you guys doing? Come on! That's enough! That's enough!
Sami: Get off of me!
Pete: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Sami: Get off me!
Chloe: He said stop.
Pete: Are you done?
Chloe: I am.
Sami: Aah! You can put me down now.
Pete: Thanks, man. Nice work.
Man: No problem. Pleasure to help.
Sami: [Breathing heavily] Chloe.
Chloe: You're insane! No wonder Lucas moved on.
Sami: You have no right to judge anyone.
Nicole: Why Lucas would want either one of you losers is beyond me.
Sami: I mean, when are you ever gonna be satisfied? You ruined Brady's life.
Chloe: I did no such thing.
Sami: You ditched him when he needed you most. And then, what, Philip dumps you so you have to soothe your ego by going after Lucas?
Chloe: [Sarcastically] Oh, you're right! I planned this whole thing for weeks! I mean, my God, what, are you gonna blame me for the power outage, too? You know what? You're the one who drove Lucas to me because he found out that you have feelings have for E.J.
Sami: I do not have feelings for E.J.!
Nicole: Yes, you do! Look at you screaming, Sami. Chloe is right. You are so into E.J.
Sami: I am not.
Both: You are, too.
Nicole: What are we, 5 years old here? Come on, Sami. E.J. told me everything. Ooh!
Bo: You were too young to remember Victor's first stroke. There was a time there we didn't think he was gonna make it.
Philip: So, what is this, his third or fourth?
Bo: He's had more than his share, but he's a survivor. He always comes back.
Philip: Yeah, but he's older now. It's gonna be a lot harder.
Bo: There are a lot of people pulling for him.
Philip: I wonder if he knew.
Philip: That he wasn't well.
Bo: Did he say something?
Philip: No, no. He's just been stepping back a little, giving me more responsibility the past few months. And then...kind of suddenly, he handed over everything to me, the whole Kiriakis empire. [Sighs] He told me... that it was my company now... and that I was in charge. And then I...
Bo: You what?
Philip: I let him down.
Chelsea: Grandpa's got to be okay, 'cause I don't know what I'm gonna do if he's not.
Daniel: Once the neurologist finishes his evaluation, we'll know more.
Kate: What about surgery? Is that an option?
Chelsea: Yeah, I mean, you once told me that one of your specialties is repairing blood vessels and arteries, right?
Daniel: Yes, but not every stroke victim is a candidate. We have got to determine the extent of the damage and then just go from there. It doesn't do any good to speculate. I will, um -- I will keep you posted.
Kate: Well, at least we know that Victor's in good hands.
Chelsea: Daniel's the best.
Kate: Yeah. He is. He's going to move heaven and earth to help Victor.
Chelsea: See, that's one thing I'm not really getting.
Kate: What's that?
Chelsea: If you think so highly of Daniel, then why did you refuse to let him operate on you?
Kate: [Scoffs] Honey, he was so busy. God.
Chelsea: Uh, no, he wasn't. After he gave you your diagnosis, he was fully ready to operate.
Kate: I know, but then he recommended Dr. Stall, who was more than capable.
Chelsea: Capable, yes. An expert surgeon like Daniel, no.
Kate: Well, he must have done a good job, because here I am.
Chelsea: Thank God for that. But I know you, and you're not one to settle for second best, so...do you mind telling me what the real story is?
E.J.: All right, ladies -- or should I say, "children"? You want to tell me who started this? Hmm? Do any of you want to start talking, please?
Chloe: Hey, Sami started it. [Indistinct arguing]
E.J.: All right! Okay, fine! Stupid question. I'd like a word with you, please, Samantha. Over here. Thank you.
E.J.: What is wrong with you? Do you care about anybody else other than yourself?
Sami: What are you talking about?
E.J.: Oh, my God. I am talking about the fact that Caroline does not need any more on her plate right now, and she certainly doesn't need you and your girlfriends coming in here and starting a bloody riot.
Sami: Are you kidding me right now? They are not my girlfriends. I hate them. And this is none of your business.
E.J.: None of my business? I wonder who the first person you would have called would have been if you got arrested and charged with assaulting Chloe.
Sami: I didn't lay a hand on her.
E.J.: It doesn't matter. There's two of them and one of you, so you need to back down. Look at me.
Sami: Look, Chloe is the reason that Lucas is going back to prison.
E.J.: I'm sorry. I don't think so.
Sami: Really? Did you know that Chloe and Lucas had sex the same time you and Nicole were going at it in the elevator?
E.J.: Oh, come on, Samantha. Look, she's very pretty. You know, she's very sexy. She's beautiful.
E.J.: I'll get to my point if you don't interrupt me. She's very alluring, okay? I'll give you that. But the fact of the matter is she certainly didn't force Lucas to have sex with her.
Sami: She went after him. She seduced him.
E.J.: Samantha, it doesn't really matter who went after whom.
Sami: It matters to me.
E.J.: Right, well, I'll tell you what she didn't do, okay? She didn't take that ankle bracelet off Lucas' leg. He did that all on his own. And he sneaked out of the house all on his own, and I bet it wasn't the first time he skipped out.
Sami: Lucas slept with her because of you.
E.J.: Oh. Oh, that makes complete sense. Of course. My fault. Everything's my fault, isn't it, darling? I should have thought of that earlier.
Bo: Come on, man. Victor's proud of you. He's told me so.
Philip: In the past, maybe. But I'm afraid he's changed his mind.
Bo: You're following in his footsteps, taking over the family business. What father wouldn't be proud?
Philip: He entrusted me with the company, and I messed it up.
Bo: Everybody makes mistakes. It's how you learn. You just got to pick yourself up and move forward.
Philip: No, no. I've disappointed him. I know it.
Philip: Dad, what is it?
Victor: I am proud. Bo?
Daniel: Hey, look who's awake. How are you feeling?
Victor: Like hell.
Daniel: Yes, but at least you're here. That's a good thing. Listen, I need to examine Victor for a few minutes if you guys want to grab a bite or something.
Bo: Okay. I'll be right outside.
Philip: Dad, I'm gonna go check in with the office. I'll be back after Daniel's finished.
Morgan: How's your father?
Philip: He had a stroke. He's alive, but it's too soon for any real prognosis. What are you still doing here?
Morgan: I was just concerned about you, your father.
Philip: Yeah, he's stable. He's resting. What about your father? Have you heard from him?
Morgan: No. I mean, you know about the letter they found in his suitcase.
Philip: Yeah, yeah. But you never told me exactly what was in it.
Morgan: Apparently, he knew who was after him, and he left proof.
Kate: Okay, the real story.
Chelsea: Of why you wouldn't let Daniel operate on you. Yes, please.
Kate: When you had your operation and then your relapse, you were spending a lot of time in the hospital, right?
Chelsea: Yeah. Every time I opened my eyes, you were there.
Kate: Exactly. And I developed a relationship with Daniel because of you. And, frankly, I felt a little uncomfortable having him as my surgeon. I mean, it's really that simple.
Kate: Really. Come on. You know it wasn't life-threatening surgery, it wasn't complicated, and it wasn't risky.
Chelsea: But if it had been, you would have let Daniel operate?
Daniel: Sorry to interrupt, but I thought you'd want to know. Victor's awake.
Chelsea: Oh, can I go see him?
Daniel: That might be a little much for him right now.
Chelsea: Okay. Uh, I'll just go grab a coffee, then, or something.
Daniel: Uh, Chelsea, he's not out of the woods yet.
Kate: Daniel... if you have a minute, we need to talk... about us.
Sami: For the record, it was you showing off to Nicole that Lucas overheard. He overheard you telling her that I --
E.J.: That you have some feelings for me? Oh, boohoo.
Sami: Well, luckily, I'm cured of that forever. Just so you know, I'm taking the twins and moving out of the mansion tonight. [Door opens] [Door slams]
Nicole: There goes the woman of your dreams. Aren't you gonna run after her? What E.J. sees in that mindless, manipulative twit I will never know. Hey, there, Miss Potato Head. Can I buy you a drink? I promise, all bitters will stay in the cocktails.
Chloe: Mm, sure. Why not? Ugh. What are bitters anyway?
Nicole: You know, I don't know, and who really cares? Because they're really good in gin. Hey, Pete, can we get a couple of drinks down here?
Pete: I'm a little busy cleaning up right now.
Nicole: Oh, uh, right. Take your time.
Chloe: So, I guess you got out of your marriage to Victor just in time.
Nicole: Yeah, you mean before he keeled over and his will left me penniless?
Chloe: They say timing's everything.
Nicole: [Laughing] Yeah.
Pete: So, are you two finished fighting?
Chloe: Yes, Pete. I'm sorry.
Nicole: Yeah, really sorry.
Pete: All right, what can I get you guys?
Nicole: I'll have my usual.
Pete: Dirty martini, three olives, up and not on the rocks?
Nicole: Mm, you're good. Chloe, order what you want. I got to call the hospital and see if Victor's dead or alive.
Bo: Hey, Victor. Glad you're awake.
Victor: Not good, Bo.
Bo: Don't talk like that. You got to stay positive.
Victor: Easier said than done.
Bo: I'm not gonna let you give up. A lot of people praying for you, including ma. She's worried sick about you.
Bo: She wanted to stay, but she had to head on back to the pub and get some rest. You know what? I'll give her a call, let her know you're awake, okay?
Victor: Wait. I need your he-- I need your help.
Bo: What is it?
Philip: I know this is all very hard for you to talk about.
Morgan: Yeah, it is. It's pretty upsetting.
Philip: I know. What about the police? Have they heard anything?
Morgan: I mean, they've been through all my father's stuff, and so far, nothing -- I mean, besides the letter they found in his suitcase. He talks about leaving me something behind, like an insurance policy.
Philip: I see.
Morgan: He said if anything happens to him that I'm gonna need it, whatever "it" is.
Philip: Meaning evidence?
Morgan: That's what the police think. He said he mailed it to me. Philip, I'm really scared.
Philip: Come here.
Daniel: Look, I, uh -- I do want to talk, Kate, but I'm waiting to get an "okay" to get Victor into radiology.
Kate: I'll be quick. I don't have any regrets about this, about what happened. But if Chelsea found out, I couldn't live with that.
Daniel: Yeah. I know. I know what you mean.
Nicole: This is weird.
Chloe: A little.
Nicole: Yeah, but it beats drinking alone, you know?
Chloe: I try not to make a habit of it, unlike you.
Nicole: I like to have fun. So what?
Chloe: You drink like a fish.
Nicole: That's none of your business. You know, Chloe, there was a time when you and I were kind of friendly.
Chloe: You were just pretending to be my friend so you could sideline me and make a play for Brady.
Nicole: Now, if my memory serves, you were the one who wanted Brady to think you were dead.
Chloe: Touché. Don't remind me.
Nicole: Mm-hmm. So, how did you end up with Lucas? The last I checked, you and Philip were hot and heavy.
Chloe: Not anymore.
Nicole: Well, did you tell him? Does he know about you and Lucas?
Chloe: He doesn't even care. He's too busy playing that southern sorority slut.
Nicole: Oh, yeah. You know what? I have seen her around. What's her name?
Chloe: Morgan Hollingsworth.
Nicole: Hollingsworth. Well, that name's been in the paper.
Chloe: Yeah, it's her dad. He's a suspect in the warehouse fire. Now he's missing.
Nicole: [Chuckles] So, Philip's, uh, "comforting" her?
Chloe: Yeah, apparently so. Every time I turn around, she's crying on his shoulder.
Nicole: [Southern accent] He's probably taken by her cute little southern drawl. [Normal voice] Ugh. Men are such suckers.
Chloe: Yeah, well, it's done.
Nicole: Happens. Believe me, I've had more than my share of disastrous relationships.
Chloe: Men. Who needs 'em?
Nicole: I hope that's rhetorical.
Morgan: If my father sent me some sort of incriminating evidence, wouldn't it make sense that whoever was going after him might come after me?
Philip: I think you've been watching way too much "Law & Order."
Morgan: I know. This whole situation freaks me out. Look, I know you're really busy with your dad being sick and work and everything, but I could really use your help going through my dad's stuff. I feel like I must have missed something.
Philip: Morgan, I told you I would help you through this, and I will.
Morgan: Thank you, Philip. It means a lot to me.
Philip: Let's go.
Bo: About Philip?
Victor: Please. Promise me you'll watch out for him.
Bo: Come on, Victor. You're gonna pull through this.
Victor: Please, Bo.
Bo: Okay. All right. You've got my word. I'll keep an eye on him for you.
Victor: Thank you, son.
Bo: Yeah. Sure thing.
Chelsea: Good. You're awake. How you feeling?
Chelsea: You know, I never really got to tell you before. I really appreciate everything you did for me when I wasn't feeling so good -- hiring all those nurses and letting me move in with you. You've always taken really great care of me. So, I want to do the same thing for you. I'm gonna take the best care of you that I can. I promise. Don't you worry.
Daniel: Yeah, all right. Thank you.
Kate: You have to go?
Daniel: No, no. It's, um -- it's okay.
Kate: I don't know. Maybe you should.
Daniel: [Sighs] Look, Kate, I don't want you to feel awkward.
Kate: No, that's -- you know, that's really not it. I just want you to know that I do care about you and, um, I don't usually sleep around.
Daniel: Neither do I.
Daniel: Kate. Kate. Boy, is it nice to see a friendly face. Sit, sit, sit.
Kate: You sure?
Daniel: Oh, I'm very sure.
Kate: Hitting it kind of hard, aren't you?
Daniel: No, no, no. I'm just trying to get my head on straight.
Kate: Oh. Well, I have a little time. I'm told I'm a pretty good listener.
Daniel: I bet you are. But you -- you do not want to know what's going on inside my head.
Kate: Why don't you try me?
Daniel: [Sighs] [Chuckles] I, uh -- trust me, you don't want to go there.
Kate: I see. Is this your -- your way of saying that it's extremely personal?
Daniel: No, what I'm saying is not only are you wise and, God, you're beautiful... is that you -- you are perceptive.
Kate: Oh. Well, I am perceptive enough to see that you are very messed up by whatever's bothering you.
Daniel: Did you ever have something on your mind and you know it is just gonna mess you up but you can't -- you can't stop thinking about it? Hmm?
Kate: Look, I would like to help you, but I would have to know what that is.
Daniel: Hmm. Well, it is something that has got such a hold on you, but you don't know how to let it go.
Kate: I think that is something I could help you with.
Daniel: How's that?
Kate: Well, I have a few ideas.
Kate: But first you're gonna have to stop drinking.
Daniel: Look, you helped me through an extremely difficult time, and I will always be grateful to you for that.
Kate: Yeah. It was fun for a while, wasn't it?
Daniel: Yeah, it was -- it was pretty intense.
Kate: But it needed to end. It probably should never even have started.
Daniel: Who knows? But it did. And we need to put it in the past, because Chelsea -- Chelsea's -- is my now, maybe my future. And I got to just see where that takes me. You understand.
Kate: Yeah. I understand.
Daniel: You are one classy lady, Ms. Roberts.
Kate: [Chuckles] Thanks, doc.
Bo: Hey, Fancy Face. Yeah, yeah. He had another stroke. We don't know. They have to take him in for more testing. Hey, hold on a second. I got a text message. Hey. We're in luck. Looks like we got a break in the Hollingsworth case.
Morgan: Well, I appreciate you coming here with me, especially everything that's going on with your father.
Philip: My father's stable now. Let's get some coffee, see if we can figure out where Paul left this so-called insurance.
Chloe: Well, I hate to drink and run, but unlike you, I didn't get a mega divorce settlement. I have to go figure out my next move.
Nicole: Well, good luck. Looks like you're gonna need it.
Philip: We'll figure it out.
Sami: Rolf! I need your help!
Dr. Rolf: I'm so sorry, Mrs. DiMera.
Sami: I'm not a DiMera anymore. I'm a Brady.
Dr. Rolf: Oh. I beg your -- I beg your pardon, Mrs. -- I mean, Ms. Brady. What can I do for you?
Sami: Um, you could help me by packing up the twins' clothes. I'm getting out of here, Rolf.
Dr. Rolf: Excuse me. Did you say, "pack up"?
Sami: Yep. That's exactly what I said. Pack up, 'cause we are moving out.
Dr. Rolf: Ahh. And, uh, where exactly will Ms. Brady and the twins be going?
Sami: I haven't worked that out yet, but we are going somewhere. And if you pack up, that will help me get going a lot quicker. Thank you.
Dr. Rolf: As you wish, Ms. Brady.
E.J.: Ms. Brady, eh? You weren't serious about moving out, were you? Stop, please.
Sami: I'm not sleeping under the same roof with you for another night.
E.J.: I'd like you to reconsider.
Sami: Why should I?
E.J.: Because I'm asking you nicely.
Sami: E.J., my life has been a train wreck since the day I met you. I should be living in my apartment with Lucas, raising my children. Instead, I'm stuck in this haunted mansion with a bunch of freak-show rejects, and Lucas is on his way back to prison!
E.J.: You brought this upon yourself.
Sami: The hell I did!
E.J.: You did. You made choices, okay? And now you're suffering the consequences of those choices.
Sami: Excuse me, E.J., but I was trying to cool my children off during a heat wave and a blackout. You decided to cool off with the town slut in an elevator. I'm gonna go pack.
E.J.: Samantha, you can want it all you like, but the life you're looking for is never coming back. Lucas is gone.
Philip: Morgan, would you give us a minute?
Morgan: Yeah, sure. I'll be inside.
Chloe: I'm really sorry about victor. I hope he recovers, for your sake.
Philip: Chloe, wait. You slept with my brother. Do you hate me that much?
Chloe: I don't hate you. I was angry and hurt. And Lucas and I made a mistake, but so did you, Philip.
Morgan: Slone. Hey! Oh, how are you?
Slone: I'm good. I just got back into town. I was visiting my parents in San Francisco. How have you been?
Morgan: Not so good, actually. My father's missing.
Morgan: Yeah, we haven't heard from him in a while, and I'm kind of worried. The cops are even involved.
Slone: I'm so sorry. If there's anything I can do...
Morgan: Thank you. I appreciate that.
Slone: Oh, that reminds me -- this got put in my mail slot at the sorority house by mistake. It's for you.
Morgan: Oh, my God.
Sami: Don't worry about Lucas and me. We will work through this.
E.J.: I don't think you can. And if he had any hope for a future with you, he wouldn't have slept with Chloe. Just like if I had any hope for a future with you, I wouldn't have slept with Nicole.
Sami: Oh, give me a break. I know exactly why you slept with Nicole. You were trying to get even with me.
E.J.: No. I did it because you blew me off, Samantha. You told me in absolutely unequivocal terms that you wanted nothing to do with me and I was to get the hell out of your life. What exactly did you expect me to do?
Sami: I don't know, and I don't care. Frankly, all I want is to be with Lucas and our children.
E.J.: One of those children, Samantha, is mine.
Sami: I am aware of that. But I am taking Johnny and ally and getting the hell out of here, and there is not a damn thing you can do about it.
E.J.: Are you sure about that?[Sound: Starter pistol]
Daniel: So, are you, um -- you gonna be all right?
Kate: What, am I gonna be mad? I knew exactly what I was getting into.
Daniel: I think we both did.
Kate: Yeah. Besides, good things never last forever. I learned that a long time ago.
Daniel: Mm. So, um, no regrets.
Kate: No, of course not.
Bo: Yeah, Roman, I agree. We got to get on this right away. Yeah, Philip was here earlier. Okay. All right, thanks. Keep me posted. Damn it, Philip.
Philip: I have been honest from the beginning. I never promised you anything, Chloe.
Chloe: That's true. But what we did was stupid.
Philip: Why? We're both adults. We had a mutually beneficial situation.
Chloe: This whole "friends with benefits thing" can be fun for a while, but someone always ends up getting hurt.
Morgan: Philip, Slone found this in her mailbox at the sorority. It's a package waiting for me at the post office. I got to go now.
Philip: I-I-I've got to go. We'll talk about this later.
Chloe: There's nothing left to say.
E.J.: Actually, you're wrong, Samantha. There is something I can do. In fact, I've already done it.
Sami: What is that?
E.J.: [Sighs] This is a court order. It, uh, forbids you from taking Johnny from our home until a custody hearing.
Sami: Our home? This depressing place is hardly our home.
E.J.: Well, unfortunately for you, in the eyes of the law, it is. If you remove Johnny from these premises, you will be held in contempt of court. I have to tell you that you could risk forfeiting some of your parental rights.
Sami: I don't believe this.
E.J.: I'm sorry, Samantha. But, uh, I'm doing everything I have to do to keep my family together.
Hope: He definitely thinks he's covered his tracks.
Bo: Except for one bit of evidence sent to his daughter.
Morgan: What if there's something in that package that I don't know about my father? What if there's something I don't want to know?
E.J.: I'll be damned if I'm letting you leave this house with my son!
