Roman: One thing I do know for sure is that the drugs were hidden in one of your containers, John.
John: [Chuckles] Well, if Philip wants war, he's got it.
Roman: John, come on. You can't really believe Philip planted those drugs.
Marlena: And I don't believe that John is involved with narcotics.
Roman: Well, according to the preliminary count, there's almost a half a million dollars' worth of street-ready cocaine.
Marlena: Oh, my gosh.
John: Only a half million? [Scoffs] How stupid does he think I am?
Marlena: John, we have no reason to think that Philip did this.
John: Of course he did. I mean, how stupid would I have to be to bring cocaine into the port of Salem, knowing how tight security is? The first thing homeland security does with every shipment is bring in the dogs to sniff for bombs and drugs.
Roman: And that's exactly how they found them.
John: Enough said, then.
Roman: John, I got to go with the evidence here. Ever since you came back... you're not the same John Black.
John: Kiriakis is behind this.
Marlena: Look, I can believe that Victor would do a thing like this, but not his son.
John: And you know this because why? Did you shrink him, too?
Marlena: I've known him his whole life, John.
John: Just because you watched him take his first steps doesn't mean he's incapable of darkness. He just couldn't stand by and watch me chip away at his power base.
Marlena: John, the Kiriakis empire is good in Philip's hands. He doesn't play dirty like his father does.
John: Well, your professional assessment comforts me.
Roman: John, take it easy.
John: Get your hands off me!
Roman: I said, "Take it easy."
Marlena: John. John. Promise me...you had nothing to do with those drugs.
E.J.: You're not even curious?
Philip: As to?
E.J.: Well, there seems to be some kind of commotion down at the docks -- enough for just about everybody to go running off down there -- everybody, that is, except you.
Philip: You don't seem all that interested yourself.
E.J.: Well, I don't have any investments down at the docks, whereas you, on the other hand, have plenty.
Chloe: Philip. Oh, my God, it's awful. They just found a huge shipment of drugs on the docks, and a lot of people were saying there was some kind of a shoot-out.
Sami: That's what you were dreaming about?
Lucas: Every second of every day -- every minute I was in that prison.
Sami: Was it what you expected?
Lucas: Well, what do you think?
Sami: Lucas, I don't know what to think.
Lucas: Honey, I love you. I always have. That hasn't changed. You're the one who's confused right now.
Sami: Lucas, you left me. You didn't want to see me. You wouldn't talk to me.
Lucas: I had no choice. I did that for you. I didn't want you to see me like that.
Sami: I thought you didn't want me anymore.
Lucas: How could you think that? You're the love of my life. There will never be another you. I thought you knew that.
Sami: Lucas, I didn't know what to think. You know, I-I can't believe we're standing here because I made a bad assumption. But at least I didn't shoot anyone.
Lucas: I don't want to get into that right now.
Sami: Thank God you missed. [Sighs]
Lucas: You of all people know what I did that night and why I did it. I was driven insane by jealousy. I had no choice. But I never once used that as an excuse -- not to you or the judge or anybody. I took responsibility for what I did.
Sami: Oh, bravo. You know, what do you want, a standing ovation now?
Lucas: You have no idea. You have no idea how hard it was for me.
Sami: You know what? My sympathy tank is running on empty right now.
Lucas: I know. I know that I left you alone with two kids to take care of. I'm sorry, but I think you can handle that. You're a great mother.
Sami: I love you, Lucas. I do. But you were gone. You were out of my life. That's what you wanted.
Lucas: So, what did you do? You turned to E.J.? What, do you love him?
Lucas: Oh, this is just great, isn't it? What are we, just one big, unhappy family now?
Announcer: Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of our Lives.
Stephanie: Are you sure there was a gunfight?
Chloe: No, but there were an awful lot of cops.
Stephanie: Let Max be okay. Oh, Max, you have no idea how worried I was about you.
Stephanie: Chloe heard that there was a gunfight.
Max: A gunfight? No, no, no. Customs opened a container, and they found drugs. There was no bad guys, no gunfight. It was just a bunch of cops and customs and D.E.A. They were all standing around, just checking bags for drugs.
Stephanie: Well, I'm glad you're okay.
Max: It's okay.
E.J.: Well, I hope that doesn't put you in any trouble. I mean, a drug bust -- it leaves an awfully sour taste in your mouth, you know?
Philip: I had nothing to do with it.
E.J.: I don't doubt it. Anyway...
Nicole: Hello, men.
E.J.: Yeah, he is.
Nicole: Hello. Ask me why I'm smiling.
Philip: What, did you find another billionaire with a 5,000-square-foot wine cellar?
Nicole: I wasn't talking to you, Philip. Well?
E.J.: Nicole, why are you smiling?
Nicole: Because Pookie smiled at me, and then she licked my face, and her little tail was wagging like there was no tomorrow.
E.J.: Great. So I take it Pookie's on the mend, then, eh?
Nicole: Mm-hmm. Honestly, it was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.
Philip: I hate to put a damper on your boundless joy, Nicole, but when a dog is smiling, they're actually baring their teeth.
Nicole: [Sighs] Lighten up, Philip. Come on. Drinks for the entire pub on me. We're celebrating. Where is everyone? Well, at least it'll be cheap.
Philip: Not cheap enough.
Nicole: Tsk. What is wrong with you, Philip? When did you become such a card-carrying party pooper?
Philip: I'm just wondering how you're going to buy E.J. and me drinks. You have no money.
Nicole: Oh. Yeah, right. Well, then, you buy them, Mr. Big-time shipping mogul. I will have a dirty martini, three olives. Actually... make that a dirty... dirty, dirty martini.
Sami: "Big, unhappy family"? Are you really ready to make jokes about this?
Lucas: How else would you describe us?
Sami: Describe us? Lucas, I didn't think you were ever coming back, and now you want me to describe us? I'm sorry, but I don't have all the answers.
Lucas: You don't have any of the answers, especially the one I want the most.
Sami: What does that mean?
Lucas: I asked you if you were in love with E.J., and you couldn't answer me.
Sami: I was offended by the question.
Lucas: Really? You don't think I have a right to know?
Sami: You don't know what I've been through.
Lucas: Well, you've been through worse. Haven't you, Sami? I mean, you're a very resourceful woman. A lot of friends and family around you to help take care of the kids.
Sami: Where are you going with this?
Lucas: Well, you didn't want your family to help you. You didn't want your friends to help you, either. You wanted E.J. to help you, didn't you? Just tell me why. Why? Why him?
Sami: We were stuck together in a safe house because we were hiding from Stefano. We were thrown together, Lucas. It wasn't my choice.
Lucas: So, that's when you two, uh... got together, formed your bond?
Sami: We -- we were there for a really long time. Allie was really sick at one point, and he -- he stayed up late with her. He was there to help her. He -- he was there for her when you weren't.
Lucas: I don't want that son of a bitch going anywhere near her.
Sami: Well, you couldn't be near her, could you?
Lucas: She's my daughter.
Sami: I know that! But she shouldn't have to suffer because of the insane acts of her father.
Lucas: "Insane acts of her father"? What about E.J.'s insane acts? Mr. Rapist -- that's not insane?
Sami: You know what? We've all done some crazy stuff. We've all done things that people aren't gonna forgive us for. We are extremely flawed human beings -- all three of us. But you know what? Johnny and Allie are what's most important right now, and the three of us have to figure out how we are gonna make this work so that we can make a healthy and happy environment for those kids.
Lucas: That's right. You're right. I'm all for that.
Sami: Are you? Because I have to ask you, Lucas, what -- what you're planning to do. Are you gonna try to take Allie away from me? Or are you willing to come back into your daughter's life... back into my life... so we can start over?
Marlena: John, did you have anything to do with those drugs?
John: I'm going down there.
Roman: John, you can't do that. The docks are a restricted crime scene, and right now you are a prime suspect.
John: All because of Philip.
Marlena: We don't know that.
John: This is war. You can't be Switzerland. Pick a side right now.
Marlena: You want me to choose between you and Philip?
John: You live under my roof, don't you? If you think the smart money's on him, you go for it.
Marlena: This is not a game we're playing.
John: That's right. It's a war, and there's a lot at stake. I'm not dealing drugs. And once I get down to the docks, I will prove that, even to Salem's finest.
Roman: No. John, you aren't gonna do that.
Max: It's okay, Steph. I wasn't anywhere near where they found the drugs. My boss called, told me what was going on. He said not to come into work.
Stephanie: Were there a lot of drugs?
Max: From what I heard, yeah.
Stephanie: I hate that that kind of thing goes on here.
Max: Yeah, me too. It's a big problem. At least those drugs won't end up on the streets, right? Excuse me, officer.
Max: Um, I was wondering if you knew anything going on about the drugs that were found on the dock.
Officer: It's an open investigation. I'm sorry, but I can't talk about that.
Max: There's no information about who was behind it?
Officer: What did I just say?
Max: Right. Thanks.
Stephanie: What is it?
Max: I was supposed to work on Dock 30 today. There was a shipment of meds going to India. I would have been working right next to where they found the drugs.
Stephanie: Well, thank God you weren't, 'cause they probably would have taken you in for questioning.
Max: Yeah, I know. But I'd much rather be spending time with you here, anyway.
Stephanie: I'm just happy you're safe.
Max: I wasn't anywhere near danger.
Stephanie: I know. It's just with everything that's going on -- my little brother -- I just -- I don't know what I'd do if something happened to you.
Max: Look, you don't have to worry about it. I'm here, and I'm not going anywhere.
Nicole: So, there was a big drug bust down by the pier?
E.J.: Evidently. From what Chloe said, it was pretty substantial.
Philip: Half a mil worth of cocaine.
Nicole: Funny. I didn't hear about that on the news. But, then again, I am a smooch hung over. I didn't really pay attention.
Philip: You? Shocking.
Nicole: Pookie and I partied pretty hard last night after you left, E.J. First night home from the hospital. Bless her heart.
Chloe: Any excuse for you to hit the sauce, huh?
Nicole: What is your problem, Chloe, besides the obvious?
Chloe: You're not taking any of this seriously, are you?
Nicole: Why should I? It's just a drug bust. [Gasps] Oh. I get it. Maybe this is hitting a little too close to home -- huh? -- Considering you pretty much turned your husband into an addict. So, was coke Brady's drug of choice?
Philip: Nicole, that's enough.
Nicole: Yeah, sure, fine. Whatever. What? What?
Chloe: [Scoffs] Whatever.
Nicole: Oh. "Whatever"? You know what? Don't even, Chloe. Brady just kicked you to the curb, and you're already hitting on Philip.
Chloe: You little bitch.
Philip: Ladies, calm down.
Lucas: Didn't I just tell you that I dreamed of you every second I was in prison? Of course I want to get back. Of course I want to start over.
Lucas: But it's gonna be a little hard for me to erase that memory of you in bed with E.J. like that.
Sami: [Sighs] So you're not ever gonna be able to forgive me for one mistake?
Lucas: I don't know. It's not just one mistake. It's not like you put my socks in the wrong drawer or something. This is a pretty big mistake, Sami.
Sami: What do you mean? This was me moving on -- the way that you told me to.
Lucas: I never told you to have sex with E.J. As a matter of fact, I never told you to have sex with him the first time.
Sami: The first time? I did that to save your life.
Lucas: Wait a minute. Don't do that. You are a very resourceful person. You could have found another way to take care of that. But you didn't, did you? I mean, you're attracted to him, right? So when he gave you the ultimatum, you just took it and you ran with it, because that's what you wanted the whole time.
Sami: Just go.
Lucas: That's what I thought.
Sami: [Inhales, exhales deeply]
Lucas: I'm sorry.
Sami: Get out.
Lucas: I'm sorry. I didn't mean what I said. What I said was unfair, and I was just lashing out. I was just trying to hurt you.
Sami: Mission accomplished.
Lucas: You don't understand. You have no idea. I told you, I dreamt of you every single moment I was in prison. You're all I ever thought about. I kept thinking about what it would be like to see you for the first time... to come through the door and hug you and -- and hold you and make love to you all night. I mean, maybe it wouldn't go exactly the way I envisioned, but I wasn't ready for this, Sami. No way was I prepared for this. I didn't know. I didn't know you were living here with your mother and John. I didn't know the kids were here. I had no idea. I mean, John's not the same person. He can't even remember anything. He doesn't know who anybody is. Got that mad scientist Rolf running around here. You think I want him around my daughter? No. But it was just a lot for me to take right off the bat. I-I -- but none of that came close to when I saw you and E.J. in bed together.
Sami: What if it had been someone else -- not E.J.?
Lucas: I guess it wouldn't have mattered who it was. It still would have hurt. It hurts a little more knowing it's E.J., because I told you about him. I warned you over and over. I told you how he works. He's a snake. He worms his way into your life... takes over your heart. The next thing you know, Sami, he's won. He's got you.
Sami: Lucas, when we kissed... you had to feel how much I love you... and how much I missed you. You have to know that it tortured me to be apart from you.
Lucas: I do. I believe that.
Sami: Then what's the problem?
Lucas: I keep telling you what the problem is. I need you to be honest with me. And don't lie to me, because I can tell. Do you have feelings for E.J.?
Sami: Yes. Yeah, I do.
Philip: You two play nice, or one of you will have to leave.
Nicole: Like Hell.
E.J.: Nicole, why don't we go and have a drink at the bar, eh?
Nicole: No. Just a second.
Chloe: Nicole, why are you even here?
Nicole: Now that you showed up, to get drunk. Man! Where is the bartender?
Max: Nicole, you can leave the money on the bar this time.
Nicole: You betcha.
Max: Are you gonna be okay for a second?
Stephanie: Uh, yeah. Where are you going?
Max: Uh, to the docks, to see if I can find out any more.
Stephanie: Okay. Be careful.
Max: All right. Hi.
Max: Philip, can we talk?
Philip: What's on your mind?
Max: Alone. Look, I'm not accusing anyone of anything. The thing is I had a front-row seat to your feud with John, and, as I recall, you were trying to recruit me as a spy. Do you remember?
Philip: That's a bit of an overstatement, don't you think? All I did was ask you to keep your eyes --
Max: Eyes and my ears open. I know. Spy.
Philip: What's your question, Max?
Max: The drugs that are down on the docks -- did you have anything to do with that?
Philip: What happened to not accusing anyone? I mean, that is how you started this conversation, as I recall.
Max: I know you're a decent guy, so I just thought --
Philip: You think I had something to do with the illegal drugs?
Max: I don't know. And I never told anyone this, but the drugs were found on DiMera ships.
Philip: And you thought what -- that I planted them there?
Max: It's common knowledge that your dad used to deal with drugs.
Philip: You better watch yourself, Max.
Max: Is that a threat?
Philip: I had nothing to do with this -- nothing.
Abe: Maybe. Maybe not. I have a few questions for you, Philip.
John: Get out of my way.
Roman: Not gonna happen, John. One more step, I will arrest you.
John: Get out of my way.
Marlena: John --
John: You might want to step back. My business interests and now my freedom are at stake here.
Marlena: I understand that. Listen to me. John, look at me. I'm ready to tell you... which side I choose.
John: Better make it fast.
Marlena: All right. Although you've done things in the past that have not made me happy, if it turns out the Kiriakis family has planted those drugs on your ships, I am on your side -- unequivocally.
John: Well, then you better tell that gentleman that I'm going down to the docks to check out the situation -- with or without his permission.
Marlena: John, there's a...
Roman: John, you need to stay right here.
John: Don't touch me!
Roman: Big mistake, John.
Marlena: You're bleeding. Let me get something.
Roman: I'm fine.
John: If you're fine, get out of my house.
Roman: I don't think I'll do that, John. As a matter of fact, you're under arrest.
Sami: You said it yourself. I'm not the type of person who has sex unless I have feelings about the person.
Lucas: Well, I'm grateful for your honesty. Now I'm gonna go check on my daughter.
Sami: Lucas -- Lucas, wait.
Lucas: You made it clear, Sami. You've moved on. Out of sight, out of mind.
Sami: No. That is -- I still love you. Come on, I never stopped.
Lucas: You stopped long enough to fall in love with E.J., didn't you?
Sami: I didn't fall in love -- you asked me to be honest. I'm not gonna lie. I do have feelings for him, but it's only be--
Lucas: That's great. I heard it. That's all I need here. It couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
Sami: E.J.'S changed. The only reason I'm in this circumstance is because I see the good in him. After all the times my family has forgiven me, I owe it to them to be able to see that other people can change, too.
Lucas: That's what families do -- they forgive each other -- but E.J.'S not family.
Sami: E.J. Is Johnny's father. You and I have forgiven each other so many times. I owe it...to myself... to do the same for E.J.
Lucas: So you want me to be happy? You want me to be happy for you? You want me to give you my blessing? The guy is a manipulative, destructive son of Stefano.
Sami: Don't you think that's a bit hypocritical?
Lucas: After everything he's done?
Sami: You're the one who shot him. You shot the man, and he's forgiven you.
Lucas: It doesn't matter. It's probably another DiMera trick or something, Sami.
Sami: Oh, come on. Just wait. [Beep] Hello? Yeah. Uh, hi. Really? So it is true. Um, no, no. Yeah, I understand. Thank you very much for calling. [Beep] So, I now have proof that E.J. Has changed.
Lucas: What? What do you mean?
Sami: That was Mickey calling to confirm that you would never have been freed from prison if it weren't for E.J.'S help.
Sami: Mickey wanted to make sure that I knew how instrumental E.J. was in getting you on the house-arrest prisoner list.
Lucas: Yeah. Right.
Sami: He said that E.J. made a statement saying that even though he was your victim, he held no animosity for you and that he'd be willing to testify to that in court.
Lucas: So they just magically transferred me because E.J. didn't hold a grudge?
Sami: E.J.'S a lawyer. Obviously, he must have known that it wouldn't carry that much weight, but it was enough. I mean, it made a difference.
Sami: What are you talking about?
Lucas: Don't you get it? He didn't want me to get out. He didn't expect me to. He was doing it for you -- to impress you, to soften you up so he could seduce you even more.
Sami: Lucas, he didn't seduce me...he didn't trick me...and he didn't manipulate me. I wanted him.
Abe: Let's talk in private.
Nicole: [Whistles] I am no detective but, uh, that didn't look good.
Chloe: Why don't you keep your non-detective opinions to yourself?
Nicole: What's wrong, Opera Girl? Sad that the man of your dreams is accused of being involved in drug trafficking?
Chloe: Don't push me, Nicole.
Nicole: Not unless there's a flight of stairs behind you, sweetheart.
E.J.: Okay. Ladies. Nicole.
Nicole: What? We were just getting started.
E.J.: Yeah, well, so is my migraine.
Nicole: Oh. I have the perfect cure for a migraine.
E.J.: Why don't we take you home, and you can get a nice cup of coffee?
Nicole: And leave you here with this she-piranha? No.
Philip: Drugs? In one of John's containers? Really?
Abe: You seem surprised.
Philip: Well, honestly, I'm shocked. I knew John was into some shady stuff, but drugs?
Abe: Don't play innocent with me, Philip. We both know your father's history.
Philip: The Kiriakis business is now totally legit. You know that. It has been for years.
Abe: So now you're in a shipping war with John?
Philip: Yeah. And now it looks like I've won.
Abe: Especially since you've set it up.
Philip: Do you really think I'm that stupid?
Abe: No. Not stupid at all. But just a little bit too clever for your own good.
Philip: Are you accusing me of something?
Abe: Well, like I said... I'm just asking you a few questions.
Philip: I had absolutely nothing to do with this.
Abe: You keep saying that.
Philip: And I'm gonna keep saying it, because it's the truth.
Stephanie: Why would Abe be questioning Philip? Do you think he's involved?
Max: Well, his company is a major player down on the docks, and they're questioning everybody who does business down there.
Stephanie: So then they'll be questioning John, too.
Roman: You are under arrest for assaulting a police officer and, depending on what we find, possibly trafficking in a controlled substance.
John: I don't think so.
Roman: John, let's do this quickly and quietly.
John: Listen to the words coming out of my mouth, or do I need to knock you out to drive my point home?
Marlena: John, you --
John: No one locks me up.
Roman: Don't make this any harder, John. John, you give me no choice.
Marlena: Please. It'll be okay. I'll go with you.
Roman: Listen to her! Put your hands behind your --
John: I said no cuffs! No cuffs.
Max: I just wish I could get out of here. All I want to do is spend some alone time with you.
Stephanie: Yeah, but you have to work, right?
Max: Yeah, that's if any customers ever come back.
Stephanie: Well, let's hope they never do.
Nicole: Whoa, whoa, whoa, Elvis. I didn't know you liked it rough.
E.J.: Nicole, as your attorney, I'm ad-- I'm telling you that if you would like to put a legitimate divorce case across to Victor, you're gonna have to stop popping up around town picking fights with people.
Nicole: I'm not the one picking fights. Can I help it if 95% of the women in Salem are jealous of me?
E.J.: Nicole, go home.
Nicole: Not without you. Come with me, E.J.
Philip: Are we done yet, Abe? Because I'm running out of ways to tell you I'm not involved in this.
Abe: You know, the more you protest, the harder it is for me to believe you. [Cellphone rings] Carver. Yeah, I see. All right. Thank you.
Abe: You look worried, Philip.
Sami: I need you to understand how I...f-felt, what I was --
Lucas: I know how you felt. He was so sweet and adorable and loving. You just had to jump his bones, right, Sami? You made that abundantly clear to me.
Sami: Now, Lucas, I just want you to understand that E.J. has changed.
Lucas: "He's changed" -- well, give that man a medal. "He's changed." Give him something, Hell. Oh, wait. Wait a minute. You already did. My bad.
Sami: Don't do this.
Lucas: How are you the victim in this? I'm the one who -- who catches you in bed with another man, and I'm the jerk all of a sudden -- me?
Sami: I know that I hurt you, and I regret that more than anything else.
Lucas: You have no idea how much you hurt me.
Sami: But, Lucas... you didn't want to see me. I was facing the rest of my life without you. And... and that was just the bottom for me. But then...E.J. was there, and he was...helping me.
Lucas: I'll bet.
Sami: He was compassionate and patient and tolerant and understanding, and he was so good with the twins. He was my rock.
Lucas: I don't want to hear this. I don't need to hear a word of this.
Sami: No, Lucas, wait.
Lucas: I don't want to hear it. I don't want to hear about your sweet, tender rock. I don't need to hear any of it.
Sami: I'm just explaining so that you can see that I didn't just jump into bed with him. I was in a really tough spot. I was vulnerable, but --
Lucas: Well, maybe I'm feeling a little vulnerable right now. In fact, I am. I'm a little drained from this conversation. I'm out of here.
Sami: No! Lucas! Please. Please look at me. Please.
Sami: I do have feelings for E.J. But they will go away if you and I start over. Because no matter what... you, Lucas -- you are the love of my life. You always have been. And I just...am begging you to give me the chance to prove that to you -- to prove to you that I mean what I say.
John: No one's gonna put me in lockdown.
Roman: John, I can't give you special treatment.
John: You're setting me up. I don't know anything about cocaine. And as far as that fat lip, it's just the beginning of what I'm gonna do with you if you try to put those cuffs on me.
Roman: John, listen to me. This isn't fun, believe me. I remember the old John Black. And as the new John Black, you're not helping yourself a Hell of a lot, so I would suggest --
John: I'm done with your suggestions.
Roman: All right. You know what? I'll go with that. If you don't want to go with me, we'll stay right here -- both of us.
John: That's right. It's gonna end right here. I can promise you that.
Roman: Just like I said, that's fine with me. I just need you to calm down so we can talk.
John: I'm done talking. You've made me mad now. And the last thing you want to do is make me angry.
Sami: I want a second chance with you, Lucas. I want us to build our life together... because every time I look in your eyes -- every time I hold your hand... my heart melts... because I love you... and I want us to be together.
Lucas: I would believe you, but...you just told me you felt the same way about E.J.
Sami: That is not what I said. I said I have feelings for him because he's changed. I didn't --
Lucas: E.J. Isn't the only one who's changed.
Sami: What does that mean?
Lucas: I mean you. You're acting like a complete fool. You're falling for his scam.
Sami: It's not a scam.
Lucas: It is a scam. He's playing you, just as he always has, but this time it's working, isn't it?
Sami: You're wrong.
Lucas: I'm not wrong, Sami. Once a DiMera, always a DiMera. The only one who's changed is you. In answer to your question, no, I don't think we can get back together. I don't think we can start over. Even if I took a stab at trying to understand this whole damn thing, it still wouldn't work... because you slept with the enemy. It's too late, Sami. I can never forgive you for that. Never.
Nicole: Oh, E.J. Don't be such a Brit. Stiff upper lip, denying your passion.
E.J.: Nicole, for the last time, I am not going home with you, all right?
Philip: No, Abe. I'm just a concerned citizen. I wanted to make sure the streets stay safe.
Abe: Very noble of you.
Philip: Not really.
Abe: You know, I will want to talk to you about this since John's your competitor. Don't leave town.
Philip: I wasn't planning to.
Stephanie: Do you think Abe believes that Philip was involved?
Max: I hope not, Steph. But anyone who's involved in trafficking that stuff deserves to go away for a long, long time.
Stephanie: But selling drugs is all about the money, and Philip is rich, so why would he take a risk like that?
Max: I'm not saying he would. But, Steph, there's something you got to know. Those drugs weren't found on Philip's ships. They were found on John's.
Roman: Like I said, John, if we calm down, we can talk about this, all right? Believe me, look, no problem whatsoever. Okay? You with me here?
John: That's right. No cuffs. No lockdown, no restraint, no -- uhh! What did you do?
Marlena: You're okay. Take it easy. Take it easy.
John: I was trusting you.
Marlena: I know.
John: I brought you into my house.
Marlena: I know.
John: And your children. And you pay me back by shooting me.
Marlena: Easy. Easy. Oh, John. I'm sorry. I'm sorry, but I had to. They would have hurt you. They would have hurt you. I couldn't let that happen.
Daniel: You didn't seem like you wanted to see me. This is about Chelsea, isn't it?
Chelsea: What the hell are you doing here?
Ava: What's your problem?
Chelsea: My problem is you, bitch.
Chloe: I came to say goodbye, Philip. I'm leaving Salem.
