Lexie: Daniel, you okay?
Daniel: Oh, just 4 1/2 hours in surgery.
Lexie: Mrs. Noeller?
Daniel: There were some complications, but she's gonna be fine. Man, I have got to start getting some Z's.
Lexie: Yeah. Isn't that the truth?
Daniel: Why, your son keeping you up?
Lexie: [Sighs] No. No, I just -- I haven't been sleeping very well lately. Too much on my mind.
Daniel: The perils of being Chief of Staff.
Lexie: No, no, no. Not at all. I wish the rest of my life went as smoothly as my work.
Daniel: I'm sorry to hear that.
Daniel: Well, if you ever need to unload about the family or husband, you just let it fly. I'm all ears and no judgments.
Lexie: I don't really want to talk about it. Let's just say things with...the husband...have been a little rough these days.
Marlena: Hi, there. I brought you some breakfast.
Sami: I'm not hungry.
Marlena: Not even for garden-grown strawberries and yogurt?
Sami: Mom, breakfast is not gonna fix my problem.
Marlena: No, it's not.
Sami: He hates me. And Lucas is never gonna forgive me. And who can blame him?
Marlena: Yeah, it's pretty dicey.
Sami: "Dicey"? I had sex with E.J. It's just about the worst thing I could have done.
Marlena: I was a little surprised to find that out. I suppose you have some feelings for him.
Sami: Mom, I don't know what I was thinking. It just happened so fast, and everything was ju-- I wish I could take it back.
Marlena: You can't do that. You've got to accept responsibility and then go on.
Sami: If Lucas had just called me, if he had just told me that he was coming home, it would never, ever have happened.
Marlena: You can't blame Lucas for this, honey.
Sami: Do you think he's ever gonna forgive me?
E.J.: Morning, Lucas. So, I understand we had quite a lot of excitement here last night. Somebody tried to escape, did they? I heard half the Salem police force ended up down here. I'm sorry I missed it.
Lucas: Yeah, I'll bet.
E.J.: Look...I'm sure this place is a damn sight better than prison. And I'm sure you're glad to be with your daughter, which is as it should be. But I don't think anybody anticipated you, Samantha, myself, and the twins all living under one roof.
Lucas: Yeah, tricky arrangements, right?
E.J.: To say the least. So, I think we need to keep it civilized.
Lucas: Well, who says we could?
E.J.: Don't you think we have to try for the children's sake?
Lucas: You know, you may speak the Queen's English and extend your little pinkie when you sip your tea, but that doesn't make you civilized.
E.J.: Behavior doesn't make you civilized, Lucas. Actions do.
Lucas: You really want to hold your actions up to the light? Huh? Especially your actions concerning Sami?
Announcer: Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of Our Lives.
Daniel: It sounds like you and Abe are in some rough water.
Lexie: We both work such long hours, we never see each other. And when we do, all we do is disagree.
Daniel: I'm no marriage expert, but isn't all that part of the deal?
Lexie: God, it's so frustrating. Abe is so set in his ways. We don't agree about finances. We don't agree about retirement plans. We even argue about Theo.
Lexie: Yeah. He, uh, hasn't been speaking, so I'm sending him to a child therapist, a speech therapist. Abe, of course, thinks I'm overreacting.
Daniel: Well, what does Theo's pediatrician think?
Lexie: Well, she thinks we should have him checked out by a child-development psychiatrist. And I'm afraid to tell my husband because I know him. He's gonna hit the roof. He already thinks I'm overly cautious. Maybe I am. I don't -- even though he's just a little boy, I know Theo's picking up on the tension.
Daniel: Yeah, I'm sure he is. But, you know, for what it's worth, I'm betting Abe thinks you're all that and a bag of chips. So, um, I think he just wants to make you happy. You go see the child psychiatrist. If everything's okay, you got peace of mind. If something needs fixing, you got a head start.
Lexie: Oh, just like that, hmm? You make it sound so simple.
Daniel: I'm a simple guy. Doesn't mean my life is simple.
Lexie: Okay, your turn. Want to talk?
Daniel: No. No, no, no. This is about you. Me, uh...I don't think we've got enough time.
Lexie: Hmm, so you can dish it out, but you can't take it, huh?
Daniel: Pretty much.
Lexie: Did something happen with Chelsea?
Daniel: I'm not gonna talk about that.
Lexie: Well, you know, if you ever do want to talk...
Morgan: I'm gonna go get another drink. Would you like something?
Chelsea: Yeah, a "B" on this final would be fantastic.
Morgan: Honey, you're doing fine. Trust me. I'll be right back.
Philip: Hey. Do you always dress this nicely for breakfast at the pub?
Morgan: Well, actually, I have my internship later, but thank you for your compliment.
Philip: Want to sit down?
Morgan: Are you sure you don't want a rematch in darts first?
Philip: I don't think I'm ready for a rematch quite yet. Come on. Let's sit down.
Morgan: Well, actually, I'm here with Chelsea. We're cramming for finals.
Morgan: Hold on one second. Hello? Hey, Daddy. No, actually, that works out much better. Okay, I'll see you then. All right, I love you, too. Bye.
Philip: How's your dad doing?
Morgan: How do you think he's doing? If he gets indicted, he's gonna go to prison.
Philip: And I'm really sorry about that. But he committed a crime when he accepted bribes from John to block Kiriakis cargo shipments. He needs to pay.
John: And I've got news for you, Philip. It will not happen.
Sami: Be honest with me, Mom. Do you think that Lucas will ever forgive me?
Marlena: That's a tough one. But he's forgiven you in the past.
Sami: So maybe he will.
Marlena: Yeah. Sami, whatever happens, he's in a very fragile state. It's going to take some time.
Sami: Which means you don't think he will forgive me.
Marlena: I don't know. You'll have to talk to him.
Sami: I can't. I can't even look in his eyes. All I see is the anger and the...disappointment and... betrayal.
Marlena: You have to talk to him. You share a child. He lives in this house.
Sami: If he could only understand how...devastated I was...when he rejected me...and how I felt like he was rejecting Allie, too. What he was doing was gonna make sure she grew up without a father.
Marlena: You have to tell him that.
Sami: This would have been so much easier if E.J. had just been a crummy father to them. But he wasn't. He was just -- he was just so good with the twins, and...
Marlena: You sound a little surprised.
Sami: E.J.'s changed. You said that yourself.
Marlena: Yeah, I think he's made great strides. And I'm so pleased that he is paying attention to both of the twins. But, honey, if you decide your heart is with Lucas, you have to go fight for him.
E.J.: I may have done some things I'm not very proud of, Lucas, but I didn't shoot anybody.
Lucas: No, you didn't. Not lately.
E.J.: Well, our circumstances are rather different now, aren't they? How much longer are you gonna have that thing on your ankle for? You know, the twins are growing up very quickly. They're gonna be old enough to ask about it soon. What are you gonna say?
Lucas: Don't worry about it. It's not your concern.
E.J.: Oh, it is very much my concern. My son is my concern, and his sister is my concern. And I don't want them growing up in some three-ring circus.
Lucas: Well, I think I have the perfect solution to our problem.
E.J.: Really? What's that?
Lucas: Why don't you move out?
Sami: What's going on?
John: I certainly hope that you aren't fraternizing with the enemy.
Morgan: Do you always eavesdrop on other people's conversations?
John: When it's about me, yes.
Philip: Well, this conversation's private, so butt out.
John: Now, Philip, that's just plain rude.
Morgan: Look, as far as I'm concerned, he's not the one who did anything wrong. You are.
John: And what did I do?
Morgan: If it wasn't for you, my daddy wouldn't be in this situation. You're a bad influence on him.
John: Well, actually, Philip is the one we have to thank for that.
Morgan: Stay away from my father.
John: Whatever you say.
Morgan: Ohh, I hate that man.
Philip: Hey, thanks for sticking up for me.
Philip: I'm serious. It means a lot to know you trust me.
Morgan: I never said anything about trusting you. But when it comes to you and John, you're definitely the lesser of two evils.
Lexie: Hi. What are you doing here?
Abe: I dropped off Theo. So, you want to go grab some breakfast?
Lexie: Oh, I wish you would have called. I have a really busy morning.
Abe: Sorry. Next time, I'll call.
Lexie: Abe, wait. Don't be upset.
Abe: I'm not. So, when can I expect you at home tonight?
Lexie: You are upset.
Abe: Lexie, it's tough for me to make time to make us a priority. But I am trying.
Lexie: And I'm not?
Abe: I didn't say that.
Lexie: What would you do if I showed up at the station on one of your busy days?
Abe: I'd make time for you.
Lexie: Oh, come on, Abe. You barely looked up when I brought you lunch the other day.
Abe: There were two homicides that day. So what do you want me to do? Put everything on hold?
Lexie: [Scoffs] Isn't that what you just asked me to do?
Abe: We're not off to a very good start, are we?
Lexie: Well, at least we found one thing we could agree on.
Abe: Well, go ahead. I'll let you get back to work.
Lexie: You know what? Um...okay. You -- you made this special trip so we could have breakfast together, so let's go. Let's do it.
Abe: All right.
Sami: Where's Allie?
Lucas: She's in her playpen.
Marlena: I'll get her.
Sami: What's going on, you guys?
E.J.: Nothing. We were just having a chat. Weren't we, Lucas?
Lucas: Quite. Quite the little chat. What was that, your favorite word? It was c-c-c-civilized, right?
E.J.: Wow, you've really polished up on your sarcasm in prison, didn't you?
Lucas: What, am I treading on your territory now?
Sami: You guys, stop it, please.
Marlena: I don't care how you do it, but these twins deserve to be raised in a healthy family environment. Now, I'm taking Allie upstairs for a nap to join her brother. Then I've got some errands. Will you be okay?
Sami: Yes. Yes, Mom, thank you.
Marlena: You got the monitor.
Sami: Yes, I'll listen. Thanks, Mom.
E.J.: All right. I think your mother's right. You want to call a truce?
Lucas: I don't know, you know? I'm a realist. I don't think we can get along living under the same roof, trapped like a bunch of rats. Now, if you won't move out, then I will. Of course I'll take my daughter with me.
Chelsea: I thought you were getting some drinks.
Morgan: Yeah, I got distracted by Philip.
Chelsea: He's totally looking at you right now.
Morgan: Okay, let's go back to what we were talking about. Lava, right? Let me see this. Oh, so there's actually an active volcano on the big island of Hawaii?
Chelsea: Yeah, you mean in Kilauea? Daniel told me about it. He's actually been there.
Chelsea: Yeah, he took a surf trip with a couple of his buddies a few years ago. And he said that they made a stop there, and you could see real lava flowing.
Morgan: Mm. Well, maybe Dr. Jonas -- oh, Daniel -- should be helping you study instead of me.
Chelsea: Okay, Morgan. Very funny.
Morgan: What? What's going on with you two anyway?
Chelsea: Um...I don't know. It's kind of complicated, I guess.
Morgan: How is it complicated? I mean, he's single, right?
Morgan: Well, have you two kissed?
Chelsea: Uh...kind of.
Morgan: "Kind of"? You either do or you don't.
Chelsea: Okay, um, we did.
Morgan: I'm so happy for you. Okay, so, when was the last time it happened?
Chelsea: Um, the last time was yesterday.
Morgan: "Yesterday"? And you waited this long to tell me? Honey, you should have 911'ed me for that.
Chelsea: Look, I don't really know where he and I stand. It's kind of weird.
Morgan: How so?
Chelsea: Okay, like, when we're together, we have these really, really great conversations and we're totally clicking. And he seems really interested.
Morgan: Oh, honey, he's totally interested.
Philip: Hey. Mind if I borrow Morgan for a second?
Morgan: We were studying.
Chelsea: You know what? It's okay. I need another shot of caffeine anyway.
Morgan: Have a seat.
Philip: I have a proposition for you.
Morgan: Mm, this ought to be good.
Philip: If John has to find a fall guy when all this shakes out, he'll do it. And most likely it'll be your father.
Morgan: You think I don't know that?
Philip: Look, here's the deal -- I'll talk to the D.A., convince him to go easy on your father.
Morgan: You can do that?
Philip: Sure, I can.
Morgan: Oh. And what is it exactly that you want from me?
Philip: All you need to do is persuade your father to give me whatever he's got on John. Think you can do that?
Chloe: Well, well, well. Isn't this cozy?
Abe: I am so glad we did that.
Lexie: Yeah, yeah, me too.
Abe: We really have to do it again soon.
Lexie: Yeah, sounds good. Although, you know, I can think of better places that we can have breakfast.
Abe: [Chuckles] Well, it does beat the stale doughnuts down at the station.
Abe: But I am serious. Once a week, we should set aside time for breakfast.
Lexie: Yeah. Yeah, I'd like that. Look, I wanted to talk to you about Theo.
Abe: Sure. What is it? [Cellphone rings] Would you excuse me?
Daniel: Oh, hey, Commish.
Abe: Hey, Doc.
Daniel: What's up, man? It's no breakfast in bed, but you two seem okay.
Lexie: Yeah, we had a nice time earlier. Although, we very carefully avoided any topics that could be land mines.
Daniel: Good call. Get that peace of mind.
Lexie: Yeah. Daniel, really, thank you.
Daniel: Eh, what do I know?
Lexie: A lot.
Daniel: All right, well, you guys, take care, all right?
Lexie: [Chuckling] Okay. So, who called?
Abe: The station.
Abe: So, what about Theo?
Lexie: It's okay. We can talk another time when we're not so rushed.
Abe: What was that with Dr. Jonas?
Lexie: [Sighs] What do you mean?
Abe: I feel like I've missed something.
Lexie: Abe, we ran into each other earlier. We had a little chat.
Abe: About us.
Abe: You were talking to him about our problems, weren't you?
Marlena: Oh, Roman.
Roman: Hey. Doesn't John pay somebody to open that door?
Marlena: [Laughs] I was just going out myself.
Roman: Okay, that's fine. I just, uh -- just stopped by to follow up on that stolen disk you reported.
Marlena: Thanks for doing that.
Roman: No problem.
Marlena: Um, since you're here, maybe I should stay?
Roman: No, no, no. No, that's fine. You go ahead. I'll check the perimeter, see what I can find. John does know about this, right?
Marlena: Yes, he's just not thrilled.
Roman: Of course not.
Marlena: I should call him and have him come home.
Roman: Well, it's not gonna take too long.
Marlena: All righty. And if you need to come in, Rolf and Sami are both here.
Roman: Well, you know what? Since I'm doing this as a favor, on the Q.T., I think the fewer people that know about it, the better.
Marlena: I understand. Thanks.
Roman: Okay, I'll check the outside for now.
E.J.: Well, that's not very practical, old boy, is it? Remember your little friend?
Lucas: I'll just get a new order from the judge.
Sami: Oh, come on, Lucas. That's not being realistic. You're gonna maybe get the judge to grant you a new residence, but he's not gonna let you take Allie with you.
Lucas: I have rights.
Sami: I know that. Lucas, I am asking you not to take me to court.
E.J.: You'll just end up frustrated, Lucas.
Lucas: I'm used to being frustrated. I'm in love with Sami.
Dr. Rolf: A delivery arrived.
Sami: Oh, that's just great. Thanks, Rolf.
Dr. Rolf: It's not for you, Samantha.
Sami: "E.J., Thanks for last night. Until next time -- Nicole." That slut!
Lucas: Wait, wait. What are you talking about? Nicole Nicole?
Sami: What gave it away? The word "slut"?
Lucas: My ex-slut.
E.J.: Yeah, as in the girl who your mummy paid $5 million to marry you.
Sami: Don't get me started.
E.J.: Rolf, would you be kind enough to put this in the cellar?
Dr. Rolf: Yes.
E.J.: Thank you.
Sami: What were you doing with her last night?
Lucas: That's an interesting twist, isn't it?
Sami: Answer my question.
E.J.: Nothing. She's a client. It was a business dinner.
Sami: What kind of business exactly?
Lucas: Well, I can see you guys have a lot to discuss. I'll just go check on my daughter.
Sami: Lucas, wait.
Lucas: You're in love with him, Sami. Whether you want to admit it or not, it doesn't matter, because, obviously, you must have had some feelings for him or else you never would have slept with him. Now, you know what? I can see Nicole being easy, but you're not, Sami.
Sami: Lucas, I am not in love with him.
Lucas: You had sex with him, didn't you?
Sami: Yes, but I didn't know you were coming home.
Lucas: You know what? I'm not gonna do this with you. I'm not playing this game anymore.
Sami: I don't want to, either.
Lucas: Fine, so as soon as it's okay for me to go, I'm gonna get out of here and I'm taking my daughter with me.
Sami: Lucas, you can't do that. This never would have happened if you hadn't left me.
Lucas: You're blaming me again? You're telling me it's my fault that you slept with E.J.? How is it my fault that you slept with E.J.?
Sami: You told me to move on several times.
Lucas: Not with E.J., and don't shift this on me.
Sami: I'm not trying to shift anything. I'm trying to explain to you that I was lost and lonely.
Lucas: You were lost and lonely. And what did you do? You capitalize on her vulnerable state? Is that what you did?
Sami: No, he --
E.J.: We made love, Lucas. And Samantha wanted it just as much as I did.
Lucas: Is that true?
Sami: No. Yes. He didn't force me or anything.
Lucas: So you did want it.
Sami: Stop twisting my words.
Lucas: Would you forgive me if I slept with another woman?
Sami: This isn't about that.
Lucas: Because you wouldn't forgive me. You'd freak out. You'd lose your mind.
Sami: You don't know what it's been like for me because you haven't talked to me, because you wouldn't see me, because you wanted to make sure I knew that you didn't want to have anything to do with me. E.J. Has been there for me. He has helped me with the twins from the beginning. He has helped me put them to bed every night. He has made it possible for me. I couldn't have done this without him.
Lucas: Your mother couldn't have helped you? I'm sure John and Marlena would have gotten you a nanny in two seconds if you asked.
Sami: That is not the same thing as them being with their parents and you know it.
E.J.: Lucas, Samantha did a damn good job of raising your daughter while you were in prison, so I suggest you show her a little bit more gratitude.
Lucas: Well, thank you. Thank you for sleeping with the one man I can't stand, the one guy I hate, the one guy I don't want around my daughter. Thank you, Sami. Thank you for sleeping with a DiMera. How's that for sarcasm? You picking up on that?
Chloe: I don't believe we've met. I'm Chloe B-- Lane. And you are?
Morgan: Morgan Hollingsworth.
Chloe: What a cute accent.
Philip: What do you want, Chloe?
Chloe: Oh, I hope I'm not interrupting. I just would love to get to know your little girlfriend here. Okay, so, you have to tell me. How did you two meet? I'm such a sucker for romance.
Morgan: We are not dating if that's what you think.
Chloe: Ooh, a college girl. Now, Philip, you haven't been trolling the campus for a freshman co-ed, have you?
Philip: Just ignore her.
Chloe: I know how much you like a girl who can stimulate you both mentally and physically.
Philip: Would you excuse us?
Chelsea: Well, that looked like some drama.
Abe: Why would you do this, Lexie? I thought the whole reason that we were having our therapist come to our house was to discuss this matter in private.
Lexie: Sorry. If I had known you'd get this upset, I never would have said anything.
Abe: Who else knows?
Lexie: Nobody. What's the big deal, Abe? It's not like I gave him intimate details.
Abe: The big deal -- the big deal is...I don't appreciate you discussing our problems with some guy I hardly know.
Lexie: He's a friend, Abe. A colleague. That's it. I can't believe we're having this conversation.
Abe: Well, I do find it odd that you would choose this guy to confide in.
Lexie: At least he listens to me.
Abe: And I don't.
Lexie: Not always, no.
Abe: So now I'm the bad guy.
Lexie: [Sighs] That's not what I'm saying. This kind of pointless arguing is exactly why we're having problems. Why can't you just talk to me?
Abe: Honestly, Lexie, it's because I don't know who the Hell you are anymore.
Chelsea: The difference between a pyroclastic --
Daniel: Hey. Morgan, right?
Morgan: Hi, Dr. Jonas.
Daniel: Well, what do we got here? Ohh, had a roommate who was a geology major. He used to read this stuff to put me to sleep.
Morgan: [Chuckles] Well, I don't think that's gonna be a problem with all the caffeine that we've had today.
Daniel: Yeah? Now, could I have a minute with our geologist, please?
Morgan: Um... sure. I have to go to my internship anyway, so, um...if you'll excuse me. I'll see you later.
Daniel: So, if you've got something to say, you should say it. Or are we just gonna pretend like nothing happened?
Chloe: Your girlfriend's leaving. Don't you want to say goodbye?
Philip: Did something change? I thought we had an agreement.
Chloe: Yeah, we do. Friends with benefits.
Philip: Hey, you're the one who's married. I'm single. I can do whatever the Hell I want.
Chloe: Oh, I'm so sorry.
E.J.: No, I'm so sorry.
Chloe: That was all my fault.
E.J.: Chloe, isn't it?
Chloe: Yeah, I'm really sorry.
E.J.: That's okay. Are you all right?
Chloe: Yeah, it's just been that kind of a day.
E.J.: Yeah. Yeah, for both of us, I think.
Chloe: It's really nice seeing you again, uh...
Chloe: E.J., That's right. I'm sorry.
E.J.: That's okay. Hey, uh, Chloe, would you like to have a coffee?
Chloe: You mean right now?
E.J.: Yes, right now.
Chloe: Right now would be great. Thank you.
E.J.: Please, allow me.
Philip: It's me. Is it done?
Roman: Well, you know what, John? Um...all I really want to do here is eliminate all the possibilities, check off all the suspects one by one.
John: You watch too many crime shows on television.
Marlena: John, Roman's doing us a favor.
John: He's doing you a favor. I did not invite him here. In fact, I would like you to leave my house...right now.
[Knock on door]
Sami: Who is it?
Dr. Rolf: Rolf. May I come in?
Dr. Rolf: I, uh, thought some warm milk might do you some good.
Sami: No, thank you.
Dr. Rolf: Come on. Try it. They say it helps to calm the nerves.
Sami: Who says?
Dr. Rolf: Um, I think it was in a movie I once saw.
Sami: Yuck. That is disgusting.
Dr. Rolf: Well, perhaps if I add a splash, hmm?
Sami: It's a little early in the day. Thank you.
Dr. Rolf: As you wish.
Sami: Listen, Rolf...I'm sorry for snapping at you. Thank you. I apologize. You know, about the wine and everything.
Dr. Rolf: No, no, no, no. Not to worry. You'd think that someone with Nicole's taste would know how to select a decent wine.
Sami: It wasn't very good?
Dr. Rolf: Paint thinner.
Sami: Curdled milk?
Dr. Rolf: Precisely.
Dr. Rolf: Mm.
Sami: Have you ever done anything...so horrible that you regret it while you're doing it, but you can't admit that to yourself?
Dr. Rolf: More times than I could count, or, um, have you forgotten who you are speaking with?
Sami: How do you live with yourself?
Dr. Rolf: By constantly reminding myself that we may not be able to change the past, Samantha, but we can control the future.
Sami: Thanks. Listen, if you, uh -- if you see Lucas, will you please tell him that I'm looking for him?
Lucas: I'm right here, Sami.
Daniel: I am not gonna let things get awkward between us. You mean too much to me.
Chelsea: As a friend. [Chuckles] That's what I thought. I'm gonna go.
Daniel: I was wrong, all right? I was wrong to kiss you. It was my fault, and I shouldn't have done it. I've crossed the line.
Chelsea: I don't...need somebody who gives into feelings he doesn't want to have. I need somebody that respects me and cares about me 100% and isn't afraid to admit that he loves me. And that person was Nick. And I gave him up for you.
Daniel: Well, I really wish you wouldn't have done that.
Chelsea: Look, I'm not -- I'm not saying that to make you feel guilty. I did it because it's what I needed to do for me, but I'm telling you this because it's the truth. And I would like you to be honest with me. Can you?
John: Do I need to physically remove you from my premises?
Marlena: John, stop that.
Roman: No, you know what, Doc? It's all right. John did not file an official report, so he's right. I do have to go.
Marlena: Could you just give us a minute, please?
Marlena: I thought you would want all the help you could get.
John: I told you, no police.
Marlena: He's not just a policeman, he -- he's a friend.
John: He is your ex-husband.
Marlena: Oh, I see.
John: I have my own private investigator. The services of your friend are not necessary.
Marlena: Do you want this case solved or not? John, I'm doing this for us. I'm doing it for you. Look, one more set of eyes could not hurt, right?
John: I bet you'd like one of those pictures in your living room.
Roman: It's a very nice picture, Doc.
Marlena: John was meant to have removed that.
John: Do you want it? No, I can't give it to you. It's part of my private collection.
Roman: Okay. So, what did we decide here?
Marlena: John would be thrilled for your help.
John: She's paraphrasing.
Roman: All right, great. Why don't I get started on those casts?
Sami: I'm sorry...for everything. I'm sorry that I...slept with E.J. and I'm sorry...that I yelled at you and said horrible things to you and tried to blame it on you... because it's not your fault. I'm the one who screwed up. And I hurt you. And I'm...I'm sorry. I hate myself for that. And I'm not saying this because I expect you to forgive me. Because I don't. I just wanted you to hear me... tell you how very...very sorry I am. Lucas...
Lucas: You know how many nights I laid awake in prison? Every single one. And you know why? I couldn't stop thinking about how it would feel to do this.
E.J.: So, I, um -- I hear you used to live in Vienna. Is that right?
E.J.: I used to go there every year, actually, for Donauinselfest. Did you ever go? [Clears throat] Darling, let me give you a little tip. If you wish you make him jealous, stop staring at him and start giggling at me. I promise it'll work.
Chelsea: What's going on?
Daniel: I don't know.
[Helicopter blades whirring]
Chloe: Oh, my God. Looks like the entire Salem P.D. is heading down to the pier.
Marlena: Well, I think I'm going to check on Sami.
John: Knock first. She might be entertaining.
Roman: All right, that should do it. I'll just get the cast to the lab, see what we can come up with.
Marlena: Thank you, Roman.
Roman: Oh. Hang on. Brady here.
John: I really wish you hadn't involved him in this.
Marlena: I was trying to keep you from doing something that you might regret.
John: So instead you do something that I regret.
Marlena: That's not fair. I'm trying to help. So is Roman.
John: And we know why. Don't we?
Marlena: Is something wrong?
Roman: There's some major police activity at the docks.
Roman: The problem involves your shipments, John. You could be in trouble.
Lucas: I need you to be honest with me, and don't lie to me because I can tell. Do you have feelings for E.J.?
Chloe: They just found a huge shipment of drugs on the docks. And a lot of people were saying there's some kind of a shoot-out.
John: I'm not dealing drugs. I will prove that to Salem's finest.
Roman: No, John. You're not gonna do that.
