Chelsea: Ow.

Daniel: Sorry. I'll try to be more gentle.

Kate: Have you figured out what's wrong yet?

Victor: Kate, I came as soon as I got your call.

Chelsea: Hi, Grandpa.

Victor: Hey, what are you doing back in the hospital?

Daniel: She collapsed.

Chelsea: Lucky that Dr. Jonas was here to save me.

Victor: Is this some sort of a post-op complication from her surgery?

Kate: Of course, it is, and I'm afraid that it's serious.

Victor: Dr. Jonas, what's going on?

Daniel: She's spiking a fever. Her belly's rigid.

Victor: What's causing it?

Daniel: I ran some tests, and I just got the results back. caused by pancreatic enzymes leaking into the abdominal cavity.

Kate: You know, no one listens, because I warned you, and I warned you, doctor, that harvesting part of her pancreas to save her father was too big a risk.

Victor: Speaking of Bo, where the hell is he?

Lexie: Where are you, Bo? I've left messages everywhere. Chelsea's in the hospital. She's spiking a fever. I've tried reaching Steve and Kayla. I know you're all up to something. I'm sure it has to do with Hope. But you need to call me and get over here. Your daughter needs you.

Sami: [Panting]

Jillian: Sami, hands off the treadmill! Thirty more seconds! [Beeping]

E.J.: This is a coincidence. I thought you were going to the park.

Sami: Well, after our conversation, I decided that I needed to blow off some steam.

E.J.: Definitely. Five miles? It's pretty impressive. Better get a move on if we're gonna catch you up. Let's see. [Beeping] You know, I can't seem to find it.

Sami: Find what?

E.J.: Oh, the setting -- you know, the "hounds of hell chomping at my behind" setting.

Sami: What are you doing here, E.J.?

E.J.: The same as you. I just came here to work out. So, where are the twins?

Sami: They're with the gym's babysitter.

E.J.: Ahh.

Nicole: Ooh. Hello, there, counselor. You're looking pretty good there.

E.J.: Well, thank you. Let me return the compliment.

Nicole: Sami, good to see you are working off those postpartum pounds. You know, that baby fat is not your friend.

Sami: Wow, Nicole. Not surprising to see you with a bottle of water in your hand. I hope it's sewer water. Do you not care at all about the environment?

Nicole: Sure, I care. I just have better things to do with my time than worry about it.

Sami: Lucas and I had a green wedding.

Nicole: Are you sure he wasn't just green around the gills 'cause he realized that he went ahead and married you? Oh! Oh, you know what? I have a theory on why Lucas shot E.J.

E.J.: You know, Nicole, I really -- I don't think we need to hear that.

Nicole: No, believe me, I understand. Nobody wants to hear that their husband opted to go to prison instead of getting back together with his wife and that the sex in prison was probably better.

Morgan: How about arms of steel?

Philip: My leg was lonely.

Morgan: Well, it looks like you're making it work just fine.

Philip: Toss me a challenge, I'll wrestle it to the mat every time.

Morgan: Sounds like the kind of guy I'd like on my side.

Philip: I guess that depends on whose side you're on.

Morgan: What is that supposed to mean? Am I being too coy for you again?

Philip: Just a little. But my problem's not with you, Morgan. It's with your father.

Paul: Don't you think it's a little dangerous for us to be seen together?

John: It's my house, Paul. It's not as if we're holding hands, strolling through a park.

Paul: What do you want?

John: I need a little information on what Philip and Victor have been up to.

Paul: How the hell should I know what they're up to, John? I've been suspended from my job. I'm probably gonna be indicted...

John: I told you I was taking care of that, so don't worry, and talk to me. Did Philip or Victor ever try to bribe you? I'll take that as a yes. Well, so much for your loyalty, Paul. And so much for me keeping you out of jail.

Sami: You know, E.J., if I were you, I would watch out. If you're not careful, you're gonna be walking that fuzz ball Nicole calls a dog.

E.J.: All right. Okay. Okay. Let's just -- please, let's just not, all right?

Sami: E.J., this is not about you. This is between me and her. [Exhales sharply] I have had it with both of you. I need a sauna to get rid of all the toxins in the air from being around you.

Paul: Hey, I never took any money from the Kiriakis'.

John: Didn't they offer you enough, Paul?

Paul: Yeah, they did, in fact. They offered double whatever you were paying me.

John: Of course they did.

Paul: But we already had a deal.

John: "Had" a deal.

Paul: I'd like to think we still do, John.

John: So, who was it? Philip or the old man?

Paul: Both of them, actually. They approached me separately.

John: And what did they want you to do exactly?

Paul: They wanted me to do -- it was right after you paid me to quarantine their ships. They wanted me to look the other way and let their shipments in.

John: So they are willing to play dirty.

Paul: They're just fighting back against what you already did to them.

John: It sounds like you're defending them. If you want to join their team, be my guest. After all, they are the ones who busted you.

Paul: I'm loyal to you, John.

John: Words, Paul. Cheap and meaningless. I need to know how you're gonna prove that.

Morgan: You really think my Father was accepting graft?

Philip: I know he was.

Morgan: He told me he was innocent.

Philip: Of course he did.

Morgan: I'm not a fool.

Philip: I never said you were.

Morgan: You implied it when I said I believe my Father.

Philip: Don't put words in my mouth.

Morgan: Don't insult me.

Philip: I wasn't.

Morgan: And I should believe you because...

Philip: I don't want to fight.

Morgan: Then this conversation's over.

Philip: Hey. You'd be smart to take my advice.

Morgan: Oh, would I?

Philip: Actually, it's for your father. Tell him to stay away from John Black DiMera.

Victor: Bo should be here.

Chelsea: Lexie said that she's been trying to get ahold of him.

Kate: There just had to have been some way to prevent this.

Chelsea: Grandma, this is nobody's fault, okay? Dr. Jonas told me all the risks. I knew what I was getting myself into when I signed that consent form.

Kate: He promised me that you would be okay.

Daniel: No, Kate, I didn't promise. That would be irresponsible. Chelsea and everybody else who agreed to be tested as a possible donor knew the risks. This kind of infection is always possible after an invasive surgery.

Chelsea: Just lay off him, okay?

Victor: Is this treatable?

Daniel: Yes, it is. We've already got her started on a strict regimen of antibiotics.

Chelsea: See? There. I'll be good before you know it.

Nick: You're so brave, Chelse. Beyond amazing.

Daniel: I'm right there with you.

Kate: So am I, baby.

Chelsea: So, this, um, peritonitis -- how bad is it?

Daniel: It's a serious infection. We jump-started treatment with the heavy hitters. Now that we know what we're dealing with here, we can see how it responds and we can alter your drugs for a full attack. Um, why don't you -- why don't you just rest while I order an antibiotic and probiotic cocktail?

Chelsea: Thank you, Daniel.

Kate: Hey, doc... is she really going to be all right?

Daniel: Well, I will do my damnedest to make sure.

Kate: Is that a promise?

Daniel: That is a promise.

E.J.: Hey.

Sami: You know, just because we're "technically" husband and wife does not mean you get to dictate my day to me.

E.J.: Look, Samantha, all I was suggesting is that it would be a good idea for the twins to get some fresh air.

Sami: And I am not interested in helpful hints from someone who's only ever babied a high-powered hybrid engine.

E.J.: Well, at least we both agree about protecting the environment.

Sami: Unfortunately, that is not a qualification for father of the year.

E.J.: Come on. Don't you dare begin to attack my paternal instincts. I'm a good father.

Sami: This doesn't have anything to do with how good you are with the kids. This is about how little you know about me.

Nicole: You know [Clears throat] Lucas and I used to squabble like that. I hope your make-up sex is as good as ours was. [Gasps] Not possible.

Maggie: Well, I hope you're billing her for this, E.J.

Nicole: I should be billing him for marriage counseling.

Maggie: I didn't realize you were a member here.

Nicole: I bet that makes you wish you were still a drunk, huh?

Sami: Oh, my God. That was not okay.

Nicole: I'm sorry. I was just kidding. [Talking over each other]

Jillian: Hey, you!

Maggie: Hey!

Jillian: I really enjoyed working out with you today.

Maggie: Oh, you know what? You really gave me a workout. Hey.

Nicole: Hmm?

Maggie: This is my personal trainer, Jillian.

Nicole: Oh. Pooky used to have a trainer, too.

Maggie: Pooky?

Nicole: My dog.

Jillian: Uh, I pushed you really hard today, and you did absolutely amazing.

Nicole: No pain, no gain, right?

Jillian: These days, we like to say, "no investment, no return," and it looks like your assets are bottoming out.

Nicole: Honey, there ain't nothing wrong with these assets. [Tapping self]

Maggie: [Clears throat]

Morgan: You got one hell of a nerve.

Philip: So I've been told.

Morgan: You are sadly mistaken if you think for one second I'm gonna run to my Daddy and tell him to do anything on your say-so.

Philip: John has ruined your father's job and reputation. I guess I didn't think either one of you wanted things to get any worse. If he keeps hitching his future to John, things will get much worse.

Maggie: Well, I am -- I'm pretty comfortable with the treadmill and the stair climber and the resistance machine. And, um, and I do some yoga. But that resistance workout you gave me was a killer. It was a killer.

Jillian: Yeah. Uh, you got to suck it up, and you got to stick with it, because it's the best thing for your cardiovascular endurance, your muscle tone, and your overall health, in general. So I think we're gonna see huge changes if you keep it up over the next couple weeks in your physical stamina.

Maggie: Okay. I'm all for that.

Jillian: So, you two, I happen to have some morning sessions available if you're interested.

Sami: Well, actually, I signed up.

Nicole: And I'll be thinking about it.

Jillian: No, you won't, but you should.

Nicole: My body's fine.

Jillian: That's because you're young, but it's up to you to keep it that way. Age is gonna take its toll. You got to stay hydrated. You got to sleep. You have to eat right and work out.

Sami: She hydrates. She drinks two quarts of something a day. What, vodka, gin?

Nicole: Really, who asked you?

Jillian: You got to use it or lose it, honey. And I never thought I'd say this, but you should consider eating something. Too thin -- not hot. I'll catch you later, Smalls.

Sami: Oh! Ouch.

Jillian: You, too, slim.

Maggie: Oh!

Nicole: Could she be a bigger loser? Well, yeah, if she were you.

Sami: Thanks.

Nicole: Oh, wait. Something I said?

Maggie: You truly are unbelievable.

Nicole: Oh, thank you. Mm. Um, E.J.

E.J.: Hey.

Nicole: Do you have some time to go over some things about my divorce case?

E.J.: Yeah. I can spare a few minutes.

Nicole: Well, you should. Your time is my money.

Maggie: Well, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go shower, change, and get back to the restaurant.

E.J.: Before you go, sorry, I just wanted to offer my congratulations at you getting your certification from the green restaurant association.

Nicole: Oh. Does that mean you'll be serving Irish food instead of French? Or is it just that everything is rancid?

E.J.: It means that they have achieved certain environmental standards in preparing the food, storing the food. Anyway, congratulations.

Maggie: Thank you. And a whole lot more. I'm gonna talk to Caroline soon about doing the same thing with the pub.

E.J.: Wonderful.

Nicole: Don't they serve green beer once a year already? Shouldn't that be enough?

Maggie: You know, some people care, Nicole. Obviously you don't.

Nicole: Tsk. Come on. [Sighs]

Paul: How I'm gonna prove it? I never took a dime from the Kiriakis' -- not a dime -- and I'm probably gonna go to jail for you, so isn't that proof enough?

John: Maybe. Or maybe they didn't offer you as much as you said. We both know that you're a highest-bidder kind of guy.

Paul: You don't know anything about me. I never should have gotten involved with you in the first place.

John: A little late for that now, isn't it?

Paul: Yeah, it is.

John: So, what do you really want, Paul?

Paul: I want my life back -- for my daughter's sake.

John: Of course you do. I'll be in touch in a couple days.

Paul: What the hell does that mean?

John: Exactly what I said. Get lost. I will contact you when I need you.

Paul: [Scoffs] And what exactly are you gonna expect from me in a couple days, huh?

John: Are you nervous, Paul?

Paul: No. I'm just curious, John. I mean, even if you get the authorities off my back, they're still gonna be watching me like a hawk.

John: You're right. I should just cut you loose and let you fry.

Paul: That -- you are not gonna do.

John: Are you giving me orders now? I don't think so.

Victor: Lexie... any luck finding Bo?

Lexie: Zero.

Victor: [Sighs] I assume you've checked with Caroline.

Lexie: Yeah. She picked Bo and Kayla up last night, took them back to the pub. After she went to bed, they took off for God knows where.

Victor: What about Steve and Hope?

Lexie: They pulled the same disappearing act.

Victor: You think the two may be connected? Lexie, if you know anything, this is not the time to keep secrets. Don't keep it to yourself.

Lexie: [Exhales deeply] Bo was really worried because he hadn't been able to get in touch with Hope. He asked to speak to Abe. And then he suddenly did a 180 and said he didn't want the police involved. Do you know anything about this?

Victor: He did ask me if I knew anything about the Vitalis.

Lexie: I remember that name from when I was a cop. Organized crime.

Victor: Yes. Martino Vitali is the don. A big crime family. Bo asked me what I knew about them. They must be involved somehow.

Lexie: [Sighs] Great. You think I should tell Abe about this?

Victor: No. No. Bo's no fool. If he said, "No cops," he means, "No cops." He must have a reason. I have to respect that. So do you.

Daniel: All right, Jenny. Here's a list of medication to be fed directly into Chelsea's I.V.

Jenny: Doctor, I see you're also recommending a course of probiotics.

Daniel: You have a problem with that?

Jenny: No. I've just never seen probiotics used for the treatment of peritonitis.

Daniel: Well, now you have. You feel like going for a little ride?

Chelsea: No. I feel like going to the beach, diving under the waves.

Daniel: The ocean's a little chilly for that.

Chelsea: Not for us penguins.

Daniel: Say what? I'll tell you what. If you get well, you and I will join the penguin club.

Chelsea: [Chuckles]

Daniel: You don't want that.

Morgan: You and your fortune may think you run this world, but my Daddy's his own man. If he makes a mistake, he owns up to it.

Philip: Would he have made those same mistakes if he hadn't been pushed in the wrong direction?

Paul: John, listen to me. I cannot afford to get caught up in another scandal right now, and if I did, even you couldn't bail me out.

John: You so underestimate me, Paul. If you were to get involved in another scandal right now, you would be totally useless to me.

Paul: Useless for what, huh?

John: You need money. You need your reputation back and the respect of your daughter. I need to make that Kiriakis kid regret the day he ever crossed me, and you're gonna provide me with the means to do that. And since you're not bolting for the door, I have to assume that you are still interested in working with me, after you've been cleared and the P.R. spin cycle has rinsed off all the muck.

Paul: Well, I guess I don't have a whole lot of choice, do I?

John: You always have a choice, Paul.

Paul: Yeah.

John: You just don't have any options.

Paul: Boy, you got me right where you want me, don't you? Just right in your pocket.

John: Deep pockets, Paul. Ultimately, that's very good news for you.

Paul: And while we're waiting for this, uh, this magic fix of yours to work?

John: You will simply keep your head down and your nose clean.

Paul: That's it?

John: That's it. [Thud]

Paul: You are not gonna tell me what this plan of yours is, are you?

John: No. Because what you don't know won't...hurt me.

Maggie: Sami. Excuse me. If you don't mind my saying, you don't look very refreshed.

Sami: Well, the steam room turned out to be a bad idea. It just reminded me of when Lucas saved my life -- mine and the twins.

Maggie: And Elvis.

Sami: Well, everybody makes mistakes.

Maggie: Things aren't going very well, are they?

Sami: Well, I never imagined that I would end up living in a haunted mansion with John and E.J. It's not exactly the life I pictured for myself and my little kids.

Maggie: I've been watching them the whole day. They seem happy.

Sami: That's because they're too young to understand that their mommy is married to the wrong man and living the wrong life.

Maggie: Have you been able to see Lucas at the prison?

Sami: I tried. He, uh, he wouldn't see me.

Maggie: I know how hard that must be.

Sami: I guess the hardest part for me right now is having to pretend to be happily married to E.J. to help him avoid deportation.

Nicole: So, what are these?

E.J.: It's glass, Nicole. They're washable, reusable, as opposed to disposable and wasteful.

Nicole: Hmm. What a pain. You know, next time remind me to bring my flask. Juice without vodka is like a day without sunshine.

E.J.: Okay. Um, are we done? Can I go back to my workout?

Nicole: Sure. Anything to stop the ticking money clock.

E.J.: Well, the meeting was your idea.

Nicole: I just wanted to know what the next step was in extricating myself from Victor and Victor from his money.

E.J.: Okay. The next step is to begin preliminary divorce proceedings.

Nicole: Right. Will he be there?

E.J.: I would not expect him to be there, no. It's pretty much a formality -- just filing paperwork.

Nicole: Well, as long as he's there when the judge grants the divorce decree. I want to watch Victor bleed money.

E.J.: Nicole, you do understand that this is not cut-and-dried. Victor is going to do everything that he can in order to stop you from walking away with even a penny.

Nicole: Let him try. He'll lose, and you'll make sure of that, won't you?

E.J.: I will do my very best.

Nicole: I know you will.

E.J.: I will, mostly because, if I do, I'm going to walk away with a pretty penny.

Nicole: Mm-hmm. Well, getting rid of Victor will be worth every one of those pennies. Are we done here?

E.J.: Yes. We are. If you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go check on the twins. Enjoy the rest of your workout.

Nicole: Thanks.

John: I'm a busy man, Paul. There's really nothing more to talk about, so... either you trust me or simply go back to your loser life.

Paul: I'm in.

John: Good choice.

Paul: Yeah. So, what happens now?

John: You wait. I'm gonna go to work. Before long [Chuckles] Another scandal will come along and you will be yesterday's news. You will have your job back... and you and I will be back in business.

Paul: You know what's funny? I got into all this to keep my daughter's respect. And now I'm about to lose it.

John: That's too bad. Are we good?

Paul: Oh, we're great, John.

John: Well, let's drink to it, then. Here's to the rebirth of Paul Hollingsworth... and the demise of the Kiriakis Empire.

Morgan: If John Black is really behind all of this, then why don't you just leave my Daddy alone and go after him?

Philip: Oh, believe me, I intend to. I just thought you'd jump at the chance to keep your daddy out of trouble.

Morgan: You don't need to tell me how to do that. You just think I'm one of these simpy southern girls, don't you?

Philip: Aren't you?

Morgan: Not even close. Yeah, it's true -- I come from good Savannah stock, but I got my first bloody nose in a fistfight when I was 11. Oh, yeah, my Mommy had a conniption. My Daddy was actually really proud his little girl could take care of herself.

Philip: Probably better than your daddy can.

Morgan: Listen, I don't want him going within a country mile of John Black, either.

Philip: It's nice to know we finally agree on something.

Sami: I guess I just never thought my future would play out this way.

Maggie: Well, life happens when you least expect it. You just have to be up for the challenge.

Sami: It's definitely challenging. Life just got a little nastier.

Daniel: There you go. That's not so bad, huh?

Chelsea: She stuck me with a knitting needle.

Daniel: More like a 10-centimeter aspirator.

Chelsea: Show-off. This is so sci-fi.

Daniel: Medicine's a combination of a lot of things -- sci-fi, science, faith, intuition. The fluids we removed from your abdomen should help us specifically isolate and target what's making you sick. Jenny, I need that lab analysis stat.

Jenny: I'll check on it.

Kate: How is she?

Daniel: How you feeling, huh? You all right? Hey, hey. Just rest. Just rest.

Kate: [Sighing] Oh, my God. What's that?

Nick: It's the results of her C.T. scan. I know from when I worked here.

Daniel: Now we're getting somewhere.

Kate: [Sighs]

Daniel: All right. This is gonna burn a little bit. Big girls don't cry. So you just stay with me, Chelsea. Stay with me. All right? While all these meds are doing their little thing, we're gonna play a game here. How long will it take for your temperature to get back to normal, hmm? Here we go. Come on, Chelsea girl. You got to help me here. I cannot do this all by myself. You got to fight. That's it. Put 'em up. You can do it. Just feel it. Let your mind believe it. That's it.

Kate: Is she better, or is she worse? [Exhales deeply] The temperature's down.

Nick: It's way down.

Kate: Oh, my God. And just a few minutes ago, you were burning up.

Daniel: The age of wonder drugs.

Chelsea: Here I thought it was the age of miracle workers.

Daniel: You were the one fighting. I was just the corner man.

Chelsea: Lucky me.

Daniel: Your fever's broken. How's your abdomen? Any pain?

Chelsea: Uh... just growling. I could really go for a bagel and cream cheese.

Kate: Ah. That's all the proof that I need. Oh, baby, I love you.

Chelsea: I love you, too.

Daniel: I am going to step out and tell Victor the crisis has passed.

Kate: Hey, doctor, look. Look. If I, um, if I was hard on you before, I'm --

Daniel: I completely understand.

Kate: It's just that I thought I was gonna lose her.

Daniel: Well, she's responding exactly as she should, so Chelsea will be fine.

Daniel: Hey, there.

Victor: Daniel. How's she doing?

Daniel: Well, fever has broken. Prognosis -- a complete recovery.

Victor: I can't tell you how grateful I am. You saved my granddaughter's life.

Daniel: It'll still be several days before the infection clears up completely, but I'll keep her on the same course of I.V. meds and monitor her condition closely. Want to call Bo and Hope with the good news?

Victor: [Sighs] Well, I would if I knew how to reach them or even where they were.

Daniel: My orders for Bo were to remain on strict bed rest for the next several weeks.

Victor: Yeah, I'm sure he gave you his word that he would.

Daniel: I refused to take no for an answer.

Victor: Yeah. It seems to be a trend. First my grandson Brady goes missing. Then my son and his wife have disappeared.

Daniel: Well, after major surgery, I'm sure he and his wife just want a little alone time. But do you have any idea the kind of risks he's taking?

Victor: I know how grave the situation is. I have all the resources at my disposal out looking for them.

Sami: You stay away from my children.

Nicole: What's your problem, Sami? You act like I have some kind of disease. Don't, okay? Just don't.

Sami: Look, I am the only one who is authorized to take them out of the daycare.

E.J.: No, you're not.

Nicole: So, what's got your thong in a twist?

Sami: Okay, that's enough. You want children? Get your own. Or play house with your little fuzz ball.

Allie: [Crying]

Sami: I'm sorry, sweetheart. Thanks for nothing, Nicole.

Nicole: I didn't make her cry. [Sighs]

Morgan: I don't want to talk about my Father or John Black DiMera anymore. I just want to work out and blow off some steam.

Philip: Oh. Something besides me has you upset?

Morgan: Are you too caught up in your own little world to care? Chelsea's in the hospital fighting for her life.

Philip: When did this happen?

Morgan: You don't even know what's going on in your own house? Henderson didn't call and tell you that she collapsed and was rushed to the hospital?

Chelsea: I feel like Dorothy at the end of "Wizard of Oz." There is no place like home.

Kate: Oh, baby, we were afraid we were gonna lose you.

Chelsea: You're kidding me. There's no way I'm checking out when I have my whole life ahead of me. Besides, Dr. Jonas said that you haven't really lived until you've surfed at the Devils Cove. That's in Australia.

Kate: I think it's going to be a while before you can even take a shower, so surfing might have to wait.

Chelsea: I am getting better. Dr. Jonas said so, so it must be true.

Nick: It is true.

Chelsea: It's all thanks to my medicine man. He saved my Dad's life, so I have no problem putting my life in his hands.

Philip: Hold on a second. I know that Chelsea was high-risk because of the transplant.

Morgan: I don't know what happened, but I do know when I saw her, she was white as a ghost.

Philip: Have you been to the hospital?

Morgan: I tried, but right now it's only family and Nick, of course. I know she's in good hands with Dr. Jonas, though.

Philip: Would it make you feel better if I called my dad to see what was going on?

Morgan: Please. It's the not knowing that really gets to me.

Philip: All right.

Sami: This is your final warning, Nicole. You stay away from my children or you will regret it.

Nicole: I don't know what the big deal is, Sami.

Sami: How would you feel if I took little yip-yip out for a long walk? Would you really feel safe?

Nicole: Oh, please. That's hardly the same thing.

Sami: You're right, because they're my children, and I get to control who they are with and who they are not with. E.J., I am serious. I don't want them ever near this thing again.

Nicole: Get a life, Sami. I don't even know which brat I was holding anyway.

Sami: Excuse me?

Nicole: I don't if it was E.J.'s or Lucas'. Good thing you didn't have triplets. Can't tell the fathers without a program.

E.J.: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Easy. Easy. Easy. Come on.

Chelsea: [Inhales, exhales deeply] When did you get here?

Daniel: I've been here the whole time... admiring your strength, your courage.

Chelsea: I'm -- I'm well because of you.

Daniel: Well, I cannot imagine my life without you. I love you so much.

Chelsea: I love you, too.

Nick: Chelsea, what's wrong?

Chelsea: Nothing. I must have been dreaming.

[Cellphone ringing]

Victor: Yes? What is it, son?

Philip: I just heard about Chelsea. How's she doing?

Victor: She's stable now, thank God. She's got a severe case of peritonitis.

Philip: Is she gonna be okay?

Victor: Well, a complete recovery is gonna take some time, but the prognosis is good. Daniel's looking after her.

Philip: Oh. Is there anything I can do?

Victor: Well, a little prayer won't hurt. It brought you back to me from Ireland.

Philip: All right. Take care. I'll be in touch. She's gonna be okay.

Morgan: Oh, thank God. I'd really love to see her.

Philip: I'm family. I'm sure I could get you in. Do you want a ride?

Morgan: Thanks, but I have my car here.

Philip: So, if I asked like a country gentleman, would you do me a favor and not get angry?

Morgan: It depends on what it is.

Philip: Tell your father to stay away from John Black. He's bad news.

Morgan: Why are you asking me to do that again?

Philip: Because I'd hate to see you get caught in the cross fire.

Morgan: And here I didn't know you cared.

John: Hollingsworth, it's me. We just got a break. Victor's dealing with a family crisis. It couldn't be a better time to make our move. Well... are you kids enjoying an intense and focused workout? It's paramount to stay in top shape, because you never know when it's coming until it hits you.

Nicole: [Groans]

E.J.: All right. Okay?

Nicole: Can I sue her for that?

E.J.: No, you can't sue her. You provoked her. Let's just leave it.

Nicole: Then I'll get a restraining order.

Sami: Don't waste your time. I don't want to be anywhere near you ever again.

Nicole: Man, I hope this doesn't bruise. I have a date with John Black tonight.

Sami: Did she just s--

E.J.: Just let it go. She's winding you up. Just let it go.

Sami: Nicole asked for it, and she is going to get it.

John: You're going to model this for me, aren't you?

Marlena: Give it to me.

E.J.: Marlena. Welcome home.

Kayla: You're not gonna hurt me. I'm carrying a baby -- the baby that Ava wants.
