Hope: Kay, hey.
Hope: What are you doing here? I thought Steve took you home.
Kayla: Ah, well, he'd lock me in my room if he had his way. They called me in because Daniel had a video consult with a patient in London, and they don't know how long that's gonna take. And Lexie was called in for emergency surgery.
Hope: Shouldn't you be resting?
Kayla: I'm fine. And I'm the only one who knows Bo's history. And, really, no on else in the whole hospital knows this procedure.
Hope: How's he doing?
Kayla: He's good -- better than any of us had expected.
Hope: I know he's not in the clear yet, but, still, I just -- I feel so relieved.
Kayla: We all do. So, tell me, how is Ciara?
Hope: Oh, Ciara. My little girl. My goodness. I just stopped by and spent some time with her. She's really becoming a bit of a handful. I thought little girls were easier than little boys.
Kayla: Where do you get your information? When Stephanie was that age, I barely slept.
Hope: Well, I don't know how Maggie and Grandma are keeping up with her.
Kayla: Doughnuts and coffee.
Hope: You know what? That's a good idea. Shawn and Belle also, um, stopped by to say goodbye to them.
Kayla: They're really doing that, they're leaving Salem?
Hope: They're really doing it. Since John bought them the boat, I mean, nothing's stopping them.
Kayla: And you and Bo are okay with that.
Hope: It's all happening so fast. But, yeah, I mean, how -- how can we not be okay with it? It's their dream. When I think back on the time Bo, Shawn, and I spent sailing around the world... it's gonna change their lives. It's gonna bond them forever. I just don't want them to go. I just don't want them to leave. My boy.
Kayla: He's still your baby.
Hope: He'll always be my baby. [Monitor beeping rapidly]
Hope: My God, Kay, what is it?
Kayla: This can't be happening.
Ava: Kayla, Kayla, Kayla. Hmm. What am I gonna do with you? I am so much prettier than she is. I don't know what Patch sees in her. [Knock on door] Who is it?
Ava: Come in, Angelo.
Ava: Hey! Oh, it's so good to see you.
Angelo: You too. You too. Hey, how you doing, babe?
Ava: What, in my pretty little prison? Never better.
Angelo: Yeah, you know, I-I-I hate to see you like this. It wasn't so long ago you were practically running things. And now... so, come on. What's the deal, huh? Why can't they get you better?
Ava: Better? Better than what, huh? I'm fine.
Angelo: Uh, yeah, I mean, yeah, I know, but --
Ava: "But"? Come on. Angelo, you're my favorite cousin, right? We've known each other since we were kids. I'm emotional. I'm a little complicated, so Daddy thinks I need a shrink and meds. But you know me. I'm fine, right?
Angelo: Hey, you are better than fine, huh? Hey, I love you. And I'm always gonna take care of you. See, that's what me and my brothers were born to do. We just want you to be happy.
Ava: Yeah? Well, you know, I can't really be happy living like this.
Angelo: I know, but, you know your father. He's calling the shots.
Ava: Yeah, well, he's not here right now, is he? I am. And, like you said, you want me to be happy.
Angelo: And I do. But you can't be high-maintenance all the time. I mean, that's why you and Eddie are on the outs.
Ava: No, Eddie and I are on the outs -- and I threw him out -- because he treated me like an idiot. Come on. You know you've always been my favorite -- always. And Daddy's always counted on your side of the family to be the muscle. I'm the brains. Come on. You and me -- we'd make a great team.
Angelo: If you say so.
Ava: Come on, it's not like I want to rule the world or anything.
Ava: I just want what I want.
Angelo: Yeah, I know. And what you want is that Patch guy, huh? But he is no good for you, Ava. Look, if it wasn't for Patch and what he did to you, huh, it would be just like the old days right now. We would be having fun. We'd be scoring big-time.
Angelo: I know you loved him, but for him to leave you the way he did, the man is scum.
Ava: Hey! Don't you say that, Angelo. Look, you said you liked the good old days, right? You miss them. They were fun, huh?
Ava: Most of the reason for that was Patch, and you know that.
Angelo: He dumped you! Look, I'm sorry. I don't want to upset you, okay, but you got to forget about him.
Marlena: What was so urgent that you called me over here right away?
Shawn D.: Well...
Belle: We bought a boat. We're leaving Salem.
Marlena: W-what about your father?
Shawn D.: Already told him, and he's totally okay with it.
Marlena: Well, I guess a little short trip might do you some good.
Belle: It's not a little trip, Mom. Shawn and I are taking off.
Marlena: No, you can't do that.
Belle: Okay, Mom, I know it's kind of a shock. But we have thought long and hard about this. It's gonna be really good for us to get away together. It's not gonna be forever.
Marlena: Who else have you told about this?
Belle: Pretty much everyone we need to.
Shawn D.: Yeah, like I said, we told my Mom, my Dad, told Grandma right before you got here. She was not happy about it, but she understood.
Marlena: What a surprise. Where is she right now?
Shawn D.: She's visiting Grandpa's grave.
Belle: And then we went by to see Chelsea to say goodbye to her.
Belle: Uh, yeah. Shawn and Claire and I are gonna sail around the world on the Fancy Face IV.
Shawn D.: We'd like to have everything in place. And if we do, we'll be able to set sail tomorrow morning.
Hope: Kayla, what's wrong?
Kayla: He's in distress. He's spiking a fever, and his heart rate is elevated.
Hope: Do you think his body's rejecting the transplant?
Kayla: I hope not. But if we can stop this in its tracks, we'll be okay. Acute rejection typically happens only after the transplant.
Doctor: What do we have, Dr. Johnson?
Kayla: He has spiked a fever, and his heart rate is elevated.
Doctor: Oh, this is the patient the whole hospital's been buzzing about, the partial pancreatic transplant. He's your brother, right?
Kayla: That's right. I assisted Dr. Jonas in the O.R.
Doctor: Doesn't look like he's getting enough of his calcineurin inhibitor.
Kayla: He's getting the correct dosage, exactly what Dr. Jonas prescribed.
Doctor: Well, Dr. Jonas isn't here, and I'm taking charge. Elevate his dosage to that amount.
Nurse: Yes, Doctor.
Nurse: I'm sorry, Dr. Johnson, but he outranks you.
Doctor: And what was that new antirejection drug? Oh, yes. Add this to his regimen. That would be very helpful.
Doctor: What the hell are you doing?
Kayla: I'm trying to save this patient's life.
Doctor: That's what I thought I was doing, but you seem to be the one trying to stop me.
Ava: Angelo, don't talk like that.
Angelo: But it's true. You see, when he left, that's when, you know, things changed with you.
Ava: Oh, come on. You don't have to be so delicate. I lost it, huh? Just for a little bit. Isn't that why Daddy keeps me locked up in here?
Angelo: Your dad just thinks it's worse for you to be around too many people or get too involved with, you know, something that you see in the news that makes you nervous or sad.
Ava: Oh, wow. Sounds crazy.
Ava: But you know what? It'll all be taken care of, just, oh, just like that.
Angelo: Yeah? How?
Ava: It's just gonna make you angry. Patch. Being with Patch would make it all better.
Angelo: That's not what your shrink seems to think.
Ava: I don't care what he thinks. You say you liked the bad old good old days, right? We had fun. You want it back?
Ava: I need Patch back.
Ava: Yeah. Hey.
Angelo: Hmm. What?
Ava: You want to make me something to eat?
Angelo: Yeah, yeah, I'll get you something.
Ava: No, no, no. You remember when we were kids? You remember those grilled cheese sandwiches you used to make?
Angelo: No, no, it's just a cheese sandwich.
Ava: No, come on. It was your cheese sandwich, Angelo. God, mozzarella, tomato. Ah, nobody did it like you.
Angelo: All right, fine. One grilled cheese sandwich a la Angelo coming up.
Ava: Mmm. Thanks. Hey, Angelo.
Ava: You think that while you're doing that, maybe I could just take a little walk?
Ava: Come on. I've been cooped up in here for so long. Look, I won't even leave the grounds.
Angelo: No, you're damn right you won't leave the grounds.
Ava: It is just a walk.
Angelo: Look, you know, I know that I am gonna regret this. You know, I already regret this. All right, fine.
Ava: [Laughs] Thank you.
Angelo: Yeah, yeah, yeah. 15 minutes, Ava.
Ava: That's all right.
Angelo: 15 minutes.
Ava: How do I look?
Angelo: You look great. But, then again, you always do.
Ava: Oh, thank you.
Angelo: 15 minutes.
Ava: Yeah, 15 minutes. [Smooches]
Kayla: Get out.
Kayla: You either listen to me or you get the hell out of this patient's room.
Doctor: How many transplants is it that you've been involved with, Dr. Johnson?
Kayla: That is not the point. I'm gonna show you something. Here. Read this.
Kayla: "Oh"? That's all you have to say? Your new, fancy antirejection drug specifically not indicated as a follow-up to this type of procedure. Wait, there's more. "In previous partial pancreatic transplants, this drug has been seen to rapidly increase the possibility of incidents of rejection. Maintain calcium neuron inhibitor regimen at specific rates." You could have killed him. We'll up his antiproliferative, and I'll get the dosage for you.
Nurse: Yes, Doctor.
Doctor: I'm sorry.
Kayla: Well, you should be. I'll take it from here. Thank you.
Hope: [Sighs] Bo could have died.
Kayla: Yes, he could have. I'll make sure that, that doctor faces disciplinary procedures.
Hope: But he's okay now.
Kayla: Yeah, I'm going to adjust his dosage just a little and, uh -- I mean, we're not out of the woods yet, but I think he's gonna be okay.
Hope: Kay, thank God you were here. If it had just been that other doctor --
Kayla: Let's not even think about it, all right? I'm here now, and I'm not going anywhere.
Angelo: Hmm. [Sighs] Come on, Ava. Don't do this to me.
George: Angelo! There you are.
Angelo: Don't tell me.
George: You're on Ava duty, right?
George: You dope. She's gone.
Angelo: Wait, but how? Look, how is that possible? The fences are electrified. There's only one gate, and it's electronically locked.
George: Well, you always said Ava was the smartest one in the family.
Angelo: So, how'd she do it?
George: She disabled all the electronic locks to the gate.
Angelo: Oh, man. You know, she really is smart. But, look, she couldn't have gotten far.
George: No, she wouldn't have if she was on foot, but she wasn't.
Angelo: Wait, what the hell are you talking about?
George: She took your car.
Angelo: What?! Oh, damn it! Wait -- wait, she must have been planning this the whole time. She lifted my keys right when I walked in the door.
George: You didn't feel nothing?
Angelo: No! Come on, you know she's got the lightest touch in the family.
George: We could really use someone like her to keep an eye on her.
Angelo: Yeah, we sure could.
George: Any idea where she could have gone?
Angelo: You know, I don't know where, but I do know who.
Marlena: You can't go. Bo is in the hospital.
Shawn D.: He's feeling much better, and my mom and dad don't want us to wait.
Belle: I think Hope might like it if we waited.
Shawn D.: They don't want us to hold off on following our dream. Besides, we got the timing, and this weather is perfect.
Sami: Oh, it's going to be so lonely without you. You're my little sister, and I've decided I'm forbidding it. You're not allowed to go.
Marlena: Wait a minute. Wait a minute. The Fancy Face sank. Where did you get a boat?
Belle: It was a gift.
Marlena: A gift from whom?
Belle: From Dad. He bought us a boat!
Marlena: Belle -- Belle, we have to talk about this.
Sami: Uh, Claire, how about some apple juice? Shawn, do you mind helping me get her some?
Shawn D.: Absolutely.
Sami: Yeah, and Johnny and Allie, they want to say hi to you, too. Come on.
Marlena: We have to talk about this.
Belle: Why? What is there to talk about?
Marlena: Your father giving you a boat.
Belle: It was really sweet. He could see how much we wanted to do it, and he just wanted to make it possible.
Marlena: Do you think it's that simple?
Belle: Yeah, I do.
Marlena: You are fully aware of how complicated this situation is.
Belle: Okay. I get it. I know that you would rather we didn't leave.
Marlena: No, this isn't -- this isn't just about that.
Belle: Well, my Father wanted to give me a gift, and I wanted to take it. Why is that such a bad thing.
Marlena: It wouldn't be bad if this were your father. This is not your father. Belle, I-- I'm not saying this because I don't want you to go. But you must seriously consider taking this kind of gift from your dad.
Shawn D.: Look who's got juice. Oh, yeah! Here you go. Let's get you up here. Oh! There you are.
Sami: You're really gonna do this, huh?
Shawn D.: Yeah, my Dad's feeling better, and so is Chelsea. We didn't think we'd be able to get a boat so soon, but with John helping us out, I figure why hold off?
Sami: And you're...okay with John giving you a boat?
Shawn D.: I mean, am I thrilled about it? No. But it makes Belle happy, so we're gonna go ahead and do it.
Claire: I'm done, Daddy.
Shawn D.: Okay, baby. Don't worry. We'll get you some juice on the boat, okay?
Sami: Oh, yeah. You better be armed with juice on that boat with this one.
Shawn D.: Oh, I know. I need to get a bigger boat just to hold the juice boxes.
Belle: I don't understand. Why wouldn't you want me to take a gift from my own Father?
Marlena: He's not your father. We know that. Belle, I know how much you love him. I know how much you want him back. And I think that you believe this will bring him back somehow.
Belle: No, I don't.
Marlena: Are you sure?
Belle: Look, I know that this man is not my Father. But buying me a boat sounds like something he would do.
Marlena: John was always generous. A boat?
Belle: Yes, he wouldn't think anything of it. It's never been about the price tag, Mom. He just wants to make the people he loves happy.
Marlena: I'm so afraid you're reading things into this. I think you're taking this as a sign that he's coming back. And I think you're going to be terribly disappointed.
Steve: How long has my wife been in there?
Man: For a while.
Steve: You're laying low, right?
Man: Please, I'm a professional.
Steve: Well, let's keep it that way. She can't figure out what's going on. Hey. How's my buddy doing?
Hope: Good now.
Steve: Why, did something happen?
Hope: They're not exactly sure. Kayla's running some more tests. Bo had some sort of reaction. And, at first, Kayla thought he was rejecting the transplant, but now they're not so sure.
Steve: But he's all right?
Hope: They seem to have things under control, but -- Steve, there was another doctor in there that had no idea what he was doing. If Kayla hadn't been there and taken over when she did, I don't know what would have happened to him.
Steve: Bo is all right now?
Hope: I hope so.
Steve: Take a deep breath. Come on.
Hope: Oh, Steve. Steve. Wait a second. What -- what about you? What's with that face?
Steve: What are you talking about? Same old face.
Hope: No, it's not the same old face. You're worried about something. What is it?
Steve: Nothing. I-I'm worried about Bo, for sure, but that's all.
Hope: Don't give me that. Something's bothering you. Tell me what it is.
Steve: No. No. Hope, you got enough on your plate already. I can't.
Hope: I'm not letting up until you tell me what's bothering you. Steve, talk to me. Please.
Steve: Someone's gunning for Kayla because of me.
Bo: [Clears throat]
Kayla: Hey, you.
Bo: Hey yourself.
Kayla: How you feeling?
Bo: You tell me.
Kayla: Well, to be honest, you gave us a bit of a scare. We thought you were rejecting Chelsea's pancreas. But I think that we have everything under control now.
Bo: Hey, how's Chelsea doing?
Kayla: She's doing fine.
Bo: Good. Hope finally got out of here a little bit?
Kayla: She went to get something to drink. She'll be back.
Bo: Thanks, Sis.
Kayla: Anything, brother of mine. So, you just rest, and I'm gonna be right here beside you.
Hope: What the hell are you talking about, someone's gunning for Kayla?
Steve: It's a long story, Hope. I don't know where to begin.
Hope: Try the beginning.
Steve: This was years ago, before I came back to Salem, found Kayla, all that good stuff. When Stefano was holding me hostage, I escaped for a time. I still didn't know who I was when I was out there. And this sweet young lady took me in.
Hope: I'm guessing she wasn't so sweet.
Steve: Well, let's just say her family operates outside the law. She's a big part of the family business -- or she was.
Hope: Don't tell me. You were part of this family business?
Steve: A little bit. So, anyway, I was out there on the streets, running scams, drifting around. One day I jump in a cab -- she gets in behind me. Okay, flash forward to now. Out of the blue, she shows up. She wants to pick up where we left off. When I was in the hospital, she sent me a note, threatening Kayla and the baby.
Hope: The baby?
Steve: And then I caught her one day, following me. When I actually talked to her face to face, I could see there was something off about her.
Hope: Off -- you mean crazy.
Steve: Yeah. She's crazy. And here's the kicker -- I saw her in Ireland, from the plane, out on the tarmac, right before we took off.
Hope: Right before we took off?
Steve: She's the reason the plane crashed.
Hope: My God, you're serious. We all could have died. Bo's father did die.
Steve: Don't you think I know that, Hope? You know, she admitted to me that one of her people messed with the plane. She admitted it.
Hope: This woman's got to be caught and put away. I'm assuming you told the police.
Steve: No, not really. But I got Abe working with me on the D.L. I've got to handle this myself right now. That's just the way it's got to work. If she even smells cops, all hell will break loose. Now, I'm trying to get information on her, but I'm coming up empty. Nobody seems to be able to track her down yet.
Hope: You said you spoke to her once.
Steve: Yeah, but that was in an alley.
Hope: Wait a minute. We met.
Hope: The day of Shawn's funeral. You were taking Bo to the hospital. You and I hugged.
Steve: We did?
Hope: We did. We did. We hugged in front of the car. Right after you left, this woman came up to me and asked if I loved you. I said I did, but she just took off. There was something about it that really kind of scared me. Steve, I'm telling you, you've got to go to the police.
Steve: No, no. We can't go to the police, Hope. No. They can't pin the crash on her or her family. We got nothing to take to the police. We need more. In the meantime, I'm worried about my family. Hope, we don't want to mess with these people. Believe me. Now, we just got out from under the DiMeras. Do we want to have trouble from another family like that, do we?
Hope: Steve, the most important thing is to keep Kayla, Stephanie, and the baby safe.
Steve: That's what I've been doing, and that's what I'm gonna keep doing.
Belle: Look, you know I love you, but sometimes it's really not fun being psychoanalyzed by your own mom.
Marlena: I was right, huh?
Belle: Okay, a little. Look, I know that this new version of Dad isn't the man he used to be, but he is still my Dad. And he doesn't know how to have relationships. And I really think that him buying me this boat is his way of trying to be my Dad, even if he doesn't know it. And I love him, and I'll take what I can get.
Marlena: You are so wise beyond your years.
Belle: Oh, God. No, I'm not.
Marlena: You are. You are.
Belle: I've made a lot of mistakes, but I am trying to grow up. And I really think that this trip is gonna help me do that. And I'm gonna hate leaving you and Dad, and Shawn hates leaving his family, but, come on, we have to become a family of our own before we can come back here and build a life. You understand that.
Marlena: Yeah, I do. I do.
Belle: Good. So, you'll give us your blessing?
Hope: Tell me how you're protecting Kayla. You're having her tailed.
Steve: Of course I am. I can't tell her. Too much stress -- she might lose the baby. It almost happened once. She's fighting hard to keep her brother alive. She lost her pop because of that crazy bitch, Ava.
Hope: Ava -- that's her name?
Steve: Yeah. I bet you wish I hadn't told you now, huh?
Hope: No, I'm glad you did. Steven, I don't blame you for anything that's happened in the past.
Steve: I appreciate that. Now, try making Stephanie understand that.
Hope: Stephanie. Stephanie knows about this? You told her?
Hope: Is she after her, as well?
Steve: No, I don't think so. I don't really know, but I'm not taking any chances.
Hope: What do you do?
Steve: I'm gonna do what I've been doing -- keep the guards on, keep trying to track down Ava.
Bo: Then what'd you tell that quack?
Kayla: I told him to get the hell out of your room. That's what I told him.
Bo: You are one tough cookie. Remind me not to mess with you.
Kayla: You know, I'm not tough. Just don't mess with my family.
Bo: Yeah. Wow. So, I could have died, huh?
Kayla: But you didn't 'cause I'm here, and I'm not going anywhere.
Steve: I'm gonna get this Ava situation under control.
Hope: You better.
Steve: I'm gonna go contact Abe and see if he's come up with anything else.
Sami: Shawn... so, you said you talked to Grandma, and she's okay with you leaving?
Shawn D.: Well, she wasn't excited about it. I thought we might be leaving a little too soon.
Sami: Yeah, with Grandpa and everything.
Shawn D.: Yeah. I told her we'd be more than happy to stick around a little while longer, but, of course, Grandma said no.
Sami: Well, then you know Grandma would never stand in your way. Grandpa wouldn't want it, either. You know, I'm sure nothing would make him happier than to see you go after what you want.
Shawn D.: I just miss him so much.
Sami: Yeah, we all do. You know what? When you're out there, sailing away in the sea, and there's nothing around you for miles, you'll be able to look up at the stars. And you can be sure that he is looking down on you, and he is watching out for you.
Shawn D.: Yeah. Thank you, Sami. Thinking about it this way, it really means a lot to me.
Marlena: Yes. You have my blessing. And we've always been honest with each other. So, am I happy with you taking this boat from your father? Not completely.
Belle: Okay. Well, I can live with that 'cause I'm gonna be off at sea and in exotic places while you have to stay here and handle Dad. Are you gonna be okay?
Marlena: Well, what choice do I have? I don't have a game plan. I'll just take it one day at a time, and I will never -- I will never give up on him.
Belle: Oh, well, that is the Mom I know and love. And, you know, if you need us back, we're gonna be checking our e-mail on land every chance we get. We can be back here like that.
Marlena: That's reassuring. And I-I, uh, I'll be fine with your dad. I can handle him.
Belle: Yeah. Claire's really gonna miss him, though. It's kind of weird how he bonded with her when he couldn't with anyone else. Don't you think?
Marlena: Yeah, what was that? It was so strange. But you know what it gave me? Hope... hope that his heart can soften, hope that he can fall in love.
Belle: I'm sure he can.
Marlena: Well, here we go. You and I are having our own adventures. I'll pray for you every day.
Belle: [Voice breaking] And I'll keep you right here until we're together again, or in case you want to fly out and meet us at some fun port. And that would be great.
Marlena: I'd like to do that. And, by then, maybe I can bring your dad -- I mean, I can bring your real dad along.
Belle: Oh, God. That would be awesome. I love you so much.
Marlena: I love you, baby girl.
Belle: Well, now you can focus most of your mom energy on Sami 'cause she's gonna need it.
Sami: Hey! You saw me coming. I heard that. [Laughter]
Marlena: Well, um, she's, uh, she's really gonna go. And it's gonna make girls' night never quite the same again.
Sami: Hey, we could have plenty of fun without her.
Belle: Oh, come on. Do I at least get to join in when I visit?
Marlena: Of course.
Sami: But you have to buy the pizza.
Belle: Fine. It's a deal.
Marlena: My girl. My girls. [Sighs]
Hope: How is he?
Kayla: Oh, he's sleeping. I think he's gonna be like that for a while. He's doing pretty well.
Hope: He needs his rest.
Kayla: That's how he's gonna heal. I really do think he's gonna be fine.
Hope: How's my sister-in-law doing?
Kayla: [Scoffs] If one more person asks how I am... I know it's a difficult pregnancy, but women have been having babies since the beginning of time. Women have worked in the field right up until the time that they give birth. I don't think that being on my feet a couple of hours a day is gonna hurt anything.
Hope: No, I know that you're right. It's just I-I think maybe you'd be safer at home.
Kayla: Safer? Did Steve put you up to this?
Steve: He's right outside, isn't he?
Hope: No, he did not put me up to this. I promise you. He's worried about you. I think it's cute. I think it's sweet.
Kayla: I-it is sweet, and I appreciate it. But, you know, he's kind of hovering, and I'm feeling a little claustrophobic.
Hope: What do you want? You're his wife. You're pregnant. He's going to hover.
Kayla: Okay, fine. But you don't need to hover. Why don't you go out, spend some time with Ciara? Go see your dad. Go shopping. You need to get out of here.
Hope: You sure he'll be out for a while?
Hope: Call me if anything happens, if he even twitches -- anything.
Kayla: Of course. Go! Come on.
Hope: Thank you for everything.
Hope: Love you, Brady. I'll be back. Count on it.
Shawn D.: Well, I guess we better get going.
Marlena: Not yet. Oh. Oh, sorry.
Shawn D.: Look, I know that this is hard, but I really think this is the best time.
Belle: Yeah. It's a fresh start. We need one. I know, I wish you guys could come, too.
Sami: I don't think they've invented a boat big enough for all the Brady's.
Marlena: Darn them.
Shawn D.: Yeah, we still got a lot to do -- packing. Got to figure out what we can, what we can't take.
Belle: Gosh, yes. He's already telling me I'm taking too much.
Shawn D.: Space is limited. We got a big boat, but it's not that big.
Belle: Okay, the cocktail dresses stay home. [Laughter] Wow, this is really it.
Shawn D.: Come on, don't worry. Salem's our home. We can't stay away forever.
Marlena: No, you can't.
Steve: Hey, sweetness.
Steve: How's he doing?
Kayla: He's good -- really good, in fact. He's getting some much-needed rest.
Steve: Yeah, and what about you?
Steve: Well, the sooner the better. Where's Hope?
Kayla: Um, she's getting some rest, too -- well, at least some downtime. She needed it. I'm really glad you're here. I love you.
Steve: I love you, too, Sweetness.
Hope: Uh, excuse me. Could you please call me on my cellphone if my husband's condition changes at all -- anything at all?
Nurse: Of course.
Hope: Do you have my cell number?
Nurse: Yes, it's with his chart.
Hope: You're sure. Okay, anything at all. Please. Okay, thank you.
Chelsea: For the umpteenth time, I do not have a crush on him.
Kate: Come on, Chelsea. You dissolved into a giggly little schoolgirl as soon as he walked in the door.
Bo: Hope isn't gonna be back for a while anyway.
Hope: Okay, thank you so much.
