Kayla: [Crying softly]
Kayla: Baby, you're supposed to lie still. Lie back. Come on. Lie back. Lie back.
Steve: I'm sorry, sweetness.
Kayla: Well, you should be. I told you to lie still. Now, come on. Doctor's orders.
Steve: No. I mean I'm sorry about your pop. He was a good man.
Kayla: Yeah. He was.
Steve: Go ahead and cry for him.
Kayla: It's not just him. [Crying]
John: Rise and shine.
Marlena: [Sighs] I thought that was a dream.
John: The rough landing or the kiss?
John: Oh, baby, that kiss was no dream.
Marlena: Neither was the crash landing.
John: It was a rough landing, but that kiss made me forget all about it.
Marlena: That crash could never be called a rough landing.
John: Okay, I'll give you that one. We spanked the ground pretty good. Now, let's talk about the kiss.
Marlena: [Sighs] Do you remember ever kissing me before that?
John: I'm not sure. But I think if I tried again, it'll jog my memory.
Marlena: I would do anything to get your memory back.
John: I think I'll take you up on that.
Shawn D.: What are you doing awake?
Shawn D.: Why don't you scoot a little closer to me, then?
Belle: Thank you.
Shawn D.: So, were you warm last night?
Belle: I was.
Shawn D.: It did get pretty hot, didn't it?
Belle: Yeah, it did.
Shawn D.: I guess you could say that I got inspired.
Belle: Whatever. You were cold and wanted to get warm.
Shawn D.: Well, me and you need to work on being cold a little more often, then.
Belle: Maybe we do. [Chuckles]
Chloe: Hey, yourself.
Philip: You look pretty.
Chloe: [Shivers] I've just been through a plane crash and spent the night in the freezing cold.
Philip: But you still look pretty.
Chloe: [Laughs] Thank you.
Philip: So, it wasn't weird for you... sleeping with me, naked?
Chloe: No. No. You're an incredible man. But I do think that we should put our clothes back on. I am still married, you know.
Philip: And that's why I didn't take it any further than I did. Believe me, I wanted to.
Chloe: In the moment, I did, too.
Philip: But, like you said... you're a married woman. And to sleep with a married woman is -- well, I made that mistake with an engaged woman. It's wrong.
Philip: I just didn't want to do anything we would regret later.
Chloe: I know. For once, we both did the wise thing. I don't need any more regrets, and I certainly don't need to add to my long list of them.
Philip: Mine, too.
Chloe: So, like I said before, um, I guess we should put our clothes back on. I mean, we got naked to keep from freezing to death. But now it's morning, and it's warmer -- not much, but a little. So?
Hope: [Shivering] You hang on, Bo Brady, 'cause we're gonna be rescued. I know we are. You just rest. Save your strength. Okay?
Steve: What do you mean it's not just your pop you're crying for?
Kayla: [Crying] Just everything...and everybody. My mom has lost enough of her life. [Sniffles] I just don't know how she's gonna handle it. And Kimberly and Roman and Max and Frankie and – everybody's lost their pop.
Steve: And they're all gonna cry, too, 'cause that's what they should do. They need to grieve right now. He was a good husband, a good father. You were all lucky to have him. Oh!
Kayla: Come on, come on. Lie back. Lie back. Shh.
Steve: But I want to hold you.
Kayla: Well, here. I'll hold you. I'll hold you. Put your hand under the blanket. Put your hand under the blanket. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay.
Steve: Yeah. Yeah, baby.
Philip: You are absolutely right. We should get up right now and put on our clothes.
Chloe: Then why aren't we?
Philip: Too comfortable. And yet uncomfortable.
Chloe: Okay, um, why don't I get dressed first? You can turn your back. Then I'll leave the tent, and you can have some privacy.
Philip: You won't peek?
Chloe: I might...a little.
Philip: Then I veto your plan. One thing more embarrassing than being too warm with a woman is being too cold. You know what I'm saying?
Chloe: [Laughs] Okay, I got you. I promise I won't peek. But you'd better not peek either.
Philip: [Scoffs] You're no fun.
Chloe: Even though we technically didn't do anything, this is still kind of awkward. What happens in Greenland stays in Greenland, right?
Philip: [Chuckles] That's what they say.
Chloe: That is where we are, right, Greenland?
Philip: Yeah, as far as I know.
Belle: I'm so sorry.
Shawn D.: For what?
Belle: For everything that happened with Philip. It was a stupid thing to do.
Shawn D.: You know, I can't argue with you on that one.
Belle: Do you think that you'll ever be able to forgive me?
Shawn D.: Funny thing is, I was just thinking the same thing.
Belle: [Voice breaking] And?
Shawn D.: And... I love you.
Belle: Sometimes love isn't enough.
Shawn D.: I was confused, but I never stopped loving you, Belle. And I was -- I was angry.
Belle: You have every right to be.
Shawn D.: No, let's change that to had every right to be. We're a family. We're meant to be a family -- you, me, and Claire. And, who knows, maybe there'll be another one.
Belle: That would be -- that would just be wonderful.
John: Are you serious, or are you just talking?
Marlena: I would do anything to have you back.
John: Well, here I am in the flesh, honey.
Marlena: I want the real John Black. I don't want Stefano's creation.
John: Then let's try to bring him back.
Marlena: There's nothing I want more than that.
John: Think intimacy will do it? I hope so, 'cause I'm getting real cold.
Marlena: Oh. That's because you're sitting out in the open here. Here. You need to be under the blanket.
John: Just what I was thinking.
Marlena: Yeah. Oh! Oh! There. Is that better?
John: That's better.
Marlena: Is that better?
John: Getting better by the second.
Marlena: John... we shared a special love. No, I take that back. We have a special love. The thing is, it's still here. It's just that you're not here.
John: Maybe my mind isn't, but my body sure as hell is, so just take what you want to.
Marlena: I want your mind, too.
John: One step at a time. Brace yourself.
Roman: Have you gotten a bead on that emergency locator transmitter? Unless they're in the water, you should be getting something, shouldn't you? All right. But you think they went down somewhere in Greenland. Look, I don't want to tell you how to do your job, but we're a little on the stressed side over here, okay? All right. Yeah, fine. Thanks. I do appreciate it.
Roman: Plane was dropping pretty fast before they lost radar contact over Greenland.
Victor: How close were they to an airstrip when they went off the screen?
Roman: A few hundred miles. But that's the thing. They probably could have made it to the strip if the pilot had turned West, but the plane didn't make a single turn. It just kept going straight until it dropped out of sight.
Caroline: Whatever happens, they're coming back, and our prayers will be answered.
Victor: Listen, now that it's daylight in Greenland, I can get my own search team up. Just get me the coordinates where they went off the radar.
Roman: Look, Victor, I know you want to do all you can, but, trust me, the people in charge of this search are on top of it. They'll find them.
Victor: Another pair of eyes won't hurt.
Max: If you're going, I'm going, too.
Stephanie: Me too.
Roman: Let's just wait for a report, okay? We got Canadian search and rescue, the Coast Guard, the Navy, and two satellite-based systems on it. They got a lot more going for them than a pair of eyes.
Stephanie: Like what?
Roman: Infrared, heat-sensing equipment, emergency-signal receivers.
Victor: Have they gotten a signal from the plane's emergency transmitter?
Roman: Not yet, no.
Victor: Then another pair of eyes won't hurt.
Max: Or a few.
Roman: Let search and rescue do their job first.
Stephanie: And then what? By then it'll be too late.
Roman: All I'm saying is let's wait 12 hours. If we haven't heard by then, I'll be right there with you.
Caroline: Are Kate and Chelsea still at the church?
Lexie: Yeah, they feel that's the place where they can be the most help.
Roman: I think you should all go back to the church.
Caroline: I've said all I can say to God. He knows where I stand. You two go, and we'll let you know as soon as we hear something.
Max: All right. Bye, Mom.
Chelsea: This is all my fault.
Kate: Oh, honey, why would you say something like that?
Chelsea: Because death follows me everywhere.
Kate: Chelsea, you didn't do anything.
Chelsea: I know. But just look at everybody that's died around me. There's Zack and Ford.
Kate: Those two people are on opposite ends of the spectrum. You loved -- you loved Zack. Ford you hated.
Chelsea: It doesn't matter. They're both dead, and they're both dead because of me.
Nick: Chelsea, you had nothing to do with this. And don't assume that anyone is dead.
Chelsea: [Crying] What am I gonna do without my dad?
Kate: Sweetie, you don't know that you're going to be without anyone. You don't know that.
Nick: They're gonna be okay.
Chelsea: How do you know that?
Nick: I have a gut feeling.
Chelsea: My gut's telling me something else.
Kate: Don't jump to conclusions, okay? We just have to wait to hear something from someone.
Chelsea: I want my mom.
Kate: Sweetie, I'll call her, okay? But you have me, baby. You have me.
Nick: And me.
Hope: I know you can hear me, Brady...so you just listen. Yeah, I know what you're thinking right now. Nag, nag, nag, right? But you listen to me. You're a father and a husband. You can't leave us. You've always been a fighter, so, damn it, you need to start fighting. Don't you dare give up. You do it for me. You do it for our kids. But don't you dare give up on us.
Steve: Feels good having you here like this with me.
Kayla: I'm gonna stay right here till they come for us.
Steve: I can hold it together. A few cracked ribs isn't gonna kill me, right?
Kayla: Not if you're careful. We just got to get you to the hospital.
Steve: Yeah. I'm fine with that. I can hold it together.
Kayla: I know you can.
Steve: What? You worried about Bo?
Kayla: Yeah, I am. Oh!
Steve: What's going on? What, you got another cramp?
Kayla: No, no, no. I'm good.
Steve: You all right?
Kayla: Yeah, yeah. I'm good. Shh. It's all right. It's okay. I'm good. I'm good.
Steve: Baby, listen to me. You were having trouble before. You're doing too much. I think you're putting strain on yourself and the baby.
Kayla: The baby and I will survive. That's more than my pop did.
Kayla: He gave his life so we could all survive.
Steve: He did.
Kayla: My mom is gonna be devastated.
Steve: She didn't lose you. She didn't lose Bo.
Kayla: Well, she hasn't lost Bo yet. He needs treatment or maybe even surgery. He's so sick. Even if I didn't know about the tests, I could see it in his eyes. I know my brother. He's in bad shape. I could tell.
Marlena: John... do you remember anything?
John: I think I remember that I like doing this a lot.
Marlena: No, no, no. Anything about me.
John: Well, I'm sure I will the second time around.
Marlena: No, um...
John: Come on. I'm just getting warmed up.
Marlena: No. It's not gonna happen.
John: Well, then, will you be back for more? You seemed to enjoy it, also.
Marlena: I really enjoyed it because I thought I was making love to my husband. My husband... not some perfect stranger.
John: Well, I might not be perfect, but if you give me a second chance, I'm sure I'll try harder.
Marlena: No. No, not until you know exactly who I am.
John: I know who you are. You are Dr. Marlena Evans Black, my wife. Now...take off your clothes and lie back down. We have to keep each other warm, right?
Marlena: You have to keep yourself warm.
John: Not nearly as much fun.
Marlena: I couldn't agree more. But I've got patients to see.
Belle: Mm. God, I missed you. You just feel so right.
Shawn D.: It's like we're meant to be together.
Belle: We are. We always have been.
Shawn D.: Always?
Belle: Yeah. Yeah, even after I messed up, I had faith that our love would keep going.
Shawn D.: And it has.
Belle: Yeah. Even when it didn't look like we were gonna make it, I think I knew we would. I mean, like now. It's like a brand-new start.
Shawn D.: No, it's not brand-new. It's fully restored.
Belle: I think that searching for Claire and finding Colleen is what brought us back together.
Shawn D.: And getting into a plane crash.
Belle: I think I've learned a lot about us and about our marriage, and that's what it's all about. That's what's really important. It's our family. I want to spend the rest of my life with you if you can truly, deep down in your heart, really forgive me.
Shawn D.: Belle, I held on to the anger and the resentment longer than I wanted to.
Belle: So you -- you'll forgive me, then?
Shawn D.: Well, if you keep doing what you were doing last night, then I think we could work something out.
Belle: [Laughs] I love you.
Shawn D.: I love you.
Philip: [Shivers] Are you warm enough?
Chloe: If I said I wasn't?
Philip: I'd say let's start over -- clothes off.
Chloe: I'm fine.
Chloe: Despite the strangeness of it all, I wanted to thank you. I really needed someone I could be close with and be strong, someone I could feel safe with.
Philip: What, just anyone?
Chloe: No. My friend -- you.
Philip: I'm here for you, Chloe.
Chloe: So...this stays in Greenland?
Philip: Yeah. And then we try and find your husband.
Hope: I know you're trying. I can feel it. Let your love and your strength pull you through this. You can do it. I know you can. Don't die on me.
Max: Some jerk trying to sell long-distance service.
Chelsea: What time is it in Greenland?
Nick: Be about 7:15 in the morning.
Chelsea: Okay, they should be sending out the crews soon, then.
Stephanie: I feel like such a jerk. After everything I put my parents through and all they've done for me, there's nothing I can do for them except sit here and wait.
Chelsea: [Crying] I don't even remember the last time I told him that I loved him.
Max: Look, none of us knew this was gonna happen, guys, and they all know how much we love them. That's worth a lot when it comes to survival.
Stephanie: I put them through so much garbage.
Chelsea: So did I.
Max: You don't think Bo still loves you the same? I know how proud he is of you.
Nick: He's probably prouder of you knowing how much you've gone through. Nobody's perfect.
Max: I know I wasn't the greatest kid, but pop never stopped believing that I loved him.
Chelsea: He wouldn’t. He's so positive. He sees the best in everybody, even you.
[Cellphone rings] Hello? What did he say? Okay. Thanks.
Max: What? What'd he say?
Chelsea: They haven't heard anything.
Roman: Okay, what's the latitude and longitude?
Abe: Does it appear to be older wreckage?
Roman: What time was that?
Abe: What about infrared?
Victor: He's a tough kid. He'll be fine.
Caroline: That's right. He is tough, you know. He's our son.
Victor: He's been through a lot of bad scrapes before. He'll come through this without a scratch.
Caroline: Yeah, you're right, you know. Bo's a born leader. And, no matter what happens, he's gonna come through with flying colors.
Victor: Got guts and determination.
Victor: It's good to see a man who truly has a heart for the underdog. That's Bo. I'm proud to have him as a son.
Caroline: Oh, coming from you, I find that a little hard to believe.
Victor: Why is it hard to believe? Family has always come first with me -- always has, always will.
Caroline: Yes, I know that. But, I mean -- well, lately, I -- I've been seeing a different side to the tough guy Victor Kiriakis.
Victor: Why don't you take an ad in the paper? "Victor Kiriakis is a tulip aficionado."
Caroline: Well, it's a side that I haven't seen in a very long time.
Victor: Besides, what's wrong with having an affinity for beauty? I've always cared for you.
Caroline: [Laughs] Lexie, do you buy that?
Lexie: Yeah, every word.
Victor: Because of your strength and beauty, we have a beautiful son. I would have liked to have known that he was mine before he turned 20, but...
Caroline: I'm sorry, Victor. I just couldn't do that to Shawn.
Victor: Well, I got to hand it to him. He raised him well. I'm gonna tell him that as soon as he gets back.
Caroline: That would mean a lot to him. It will. Yeah, Bo is... he's a special man. Sometimes I'm amazed at his inner strength. That's the Kiriakis in him. And he'd do anything for his family.
Victor: You know, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him come whistling through that door, carrying the whole gang on his back.
Hope: Please, Bo. Be strong... for our family... for me.
Hope: [Shivering] I'm not giving up on you, Bo Brady. Don't you give up on me.
Marlena: Hey. How's he doing?
Hope: I thought he was starting to come around, but now I'm not getting anything.
Marlena: Bo. Bo, can you hear me?!
Hope: I keep talking to him, hoping he'll come around. His eyes fluttered once, but nothing since then.
Marlena: I will do all I can, but we've got to hold on until help arrives.
Hope: What if help never comes?
Marlena: It will. John was sure the radar was on when we went down. They'll have our approximate location. They'll be here in no time.
Hope: T-time is something we don't have.
Marlena: Listen to me. It's cold right here. His body temperature will drop, so will his circulation, and so will the cells attacking his body.
Hope: What about the beating his body took in the plane crash?
Marlena: That can't have helped. But the same is true. The cold will keep his body from swelling.
Shawn D.: Hey, Mom.
Belle: How's Claire?
Hope: She's still sleeping.
Shawn D.: How's dad?
Hope: Not good. Not good.
Shawn D.: Is there anything I can do? I got blankets here.
Marlena: You know what? Keep his body cool. We want his metabolism to slow down.
Belle: Did any of you sleep?
Marlena: Well, I, uh, I slept a wink or two.
Belle: Hope, what about you?
Marlena: You listen to me. You've got to get some sleep. Your body has to rest. If you must do something physical, you won't be any good to us, Hope. You've got to do that.
Hope: I can’t. I can't sleep. I won’t.
Marlena: I understand. I've got to check on the others. I'll be back.
Shawn D.: My dad's not gonna die, right?
Steve: What's everybody doing over here?
Marlena: You should not be walking around. You should be still.
Steve: Where have I heard that before?
Kayla: Maybe you'll listen to Marlena since you refused to listen to your wife.
Marlena: Your wife is a very fine doctor.
Steve: Yeah, that may be true, but there must be something in the physician's manual that says a wife is not supposed to treat her own husband.
Kayla: Well, there isn't, but there should be something about a husband listening to his physician wife.
Marlena: Could I talk to you for a second?
Steve: I'm fine.
Kayla: Will you guys help him?
Marlena: Are you all right?
Kayla: Um, there's been cramping and spotting. I don't want Steve to know. He thinks it ended last night, but it hasn’t.
Marlena: I understand about that. I want you taking care of yourself and your family, including your baby. Get off your feet. Let me look at that gash on your face. Come on. Come on. Easy.
Steve: Here, sit down.
Steve: What's going on, sweetness?
Kayla: Just a little dizzy, nothing to worry about.
Shawn D.: Marlena, please, tell me that my dad's gonna get better.
Kayla: He's not worse, is he?
Marlena: He's not doing well.
Steve: Don't worry, Shawny. We're gonna get him some help.
Shawn D.: How can you be so sure of that?
Steve: 'Cause we're gonna get rescued.
Belle: We just need a plan.
Philip: They are out there looking for us. They will find us.
Hope: If it's not too late.
Chloe: There has to be something that we can do.
John: Anybody up for a little breakfast?
Marlena: Oh, John, of course. Hope, please, you got to eat something. I keep talking to you about that. You got to eat. [Clock ticking]
Steve: Where'd you get the food?
John: Scattered all over the back 40.
Hope: Thanks but no thanks.
Chloe: Yeah, I appreciate it, but frozen food doesn't sound very appealing to me right now.
Kayla: We should all try to eat something to keep our strength up.
John: How's your husband?
Hope: Not good.
Marlena: We need to get him to a hospital.
John: Yeah. I'll give the flare gun another shot.
Belle: Doesn't a plane need to be flying in order to see it?
John: It will be -- sooner, later.
Hope: It better be sooner.
Shawn D.: I'll go with you.
Philip: Don't worry, Hope. They'll do this thing by the book -- our flight plans, and they had to have us on radar. They will find us.
Hope: I pray to God you're right, Philip.
Philip: I am.
John: Sorry about your grandfather. He was your grandfather, right?
Shawn D.: Yeah, he was. And thank you.
John: You hear that?
Shawn D.: Yeah, yeah. You think it's coming this way?
John: From the West. We've got exactly 10 seconds to find those flares.
Shawn D.: All right.
John: The gun.
Shawn D.: Got it. Got it.
[Flare gun fires]
Shawn D.: You think they see it?
Kate: Anything yet?
Victor: No. I can't stand around here. I have to get a plane ready.
Lexie: Oh, there's news.
Abe: Yeah. How far? So, what's the time frame?
Caroline: Excuse me.
Abe: Yes. I'll relay it.
Caroline: Well? What happened?
Abe: They found the wreckage. Someone fired off a flare.
Kate: Chelsea, they found the plane. It crashed, but someone shot off a flare.
Chelsea: They found them. They're alive.
Marlena: Oh, my gosh! [All screaming excitedly]
Belle: We're here!
Steve: Wake up, Beauregard!
Shawn D.: We're saved!
Shawn D.: All right!
Hope: We're going home.
Belle: They're here! They're here!
Caroline: I know. When Shawn gets here, we're all gonna go back to the pub and have a good, hot breakfast.
Abe: We want to hear all the details.
John: All I know is someone owes me a check.
Caroline: What's wrong with Bo? Is it what you didn't want me to know?
