[Knock on door]

Abe: Yeah, come in.

Lexie: Hi.

Abe: Well, this is a surprise, and it's a nice one.

Lexie: Hi, sweetheart. Have you, uh, heard from Bo or Hope?

Abe: Yeah, Bo called last night. Colleen Brady's no longer alive.

Lexie: Yeah, yeah, I know. It's almost like she hung on until things were made right with her family. I mean, she reunited with her brother, and she died surrounded by family.

Abe: With Stefano in a catatonic state, maybe this Brady/DiMera nightmare is finally over.

Lexie: Yeah. Um, did Bo say what time he thought they'd be getting back?

Abe: Later tonight I would imagine. You know, they're all coming back on John's private jet. Why?

Lexie: Um, I-I tried reaching Bo and Hope on their cellphones, but they weren't picking up. Kayla wasn't, either.

Abe: Well, they could have them off. Maybe they can't get a signal in the air.

Lexie: Yeah, right. Um, listen, do you think you could get an arrival estimate from air-traffic control? I mean, the pilot must have filed a flight plan, right?

Abe: Yeah. Yeah, I'll try.

Lexie: Thanks.

Abe: Lex.

Lexie: Yeah.

Abe: You know I know you, and you're worried about something. So what are you not telling me?

Lexie: Are you sure those test results are accurate? [Sighs] I'd like to run more tests. No, I already told you, I can't get another blood sample. The patient's out of the country. Yes, I do realize this could be fatal. I am trying to get the patient back here for treatment as soon as possible. Yes, I will consult with you then. Thanks. Bye.

Chloe: How can you calmly tell us we're all gonna die?

John: It's not what I want. I'm just trying to be realistic.

Philip: There must be something you can do, John.

John: Probably. Hasn't hit me yet. The pilots are unconscious because their water was drugged. We've got no radio, losing cabin pressure, controls are unresponsive, can't change course or altitude, which means we can't land, and we will be without fuel in two hours' time. You do the math. Now, the worst part...is that this jet has got to be worth millions, and the way we're going, she's gonna be a total loss.

Marlena: Oh, that's a new John that I'm getting to know. You're trying to help us. I know you care.

Shawn D.: Here, Belle, put this on Claire, will you?

Belle: Thank God she's still asleep.

Steve: Hey, man, we need to keep trying to get control of this aircraft.

Bo: We do have time. We should have, what, an hour, hour and a half of oxygen?

Steve: Hour and a half? Didn't you say it was closer to two hours before we ran out of fuel at our present air speed?

John: Let's address one problem at a time. The air is thinning. Some of you are experiencing the effects already, so apply your oxygen masks. Breathe in slowly, calmly, and evenly as you can.

Kayla: Mine doesn't work.

Philip: Mine doesn't, either.

Shawn: This one works.

Bo: Mine's not working.

Hope: Mine, either. It's not working.

John: Well, then, we're not all gonna make it. Hour and a half of oxygen, two hours of fuel. Once again -- do the math.

Shawn: You and -- you and Bo can share with me.

Bo: Thanks, Pop.

Steve: This one's good. Kayla and I will share. We'll all share the oxygen we have.

Philip: It's best for all of us just to stay calm.

Steve: That's right. Stay calm and hold your breath as long as you can between hits on the oxygen.

Bo: I'm gonna see if we could find some portable oxygen tanks.

Hope: Okay. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Brady, hey, are you okay?

Bo: Yeah, just a little dizzy, that's all.

Hope: Here, here, here.

John: Like I said, the air in here is getting thinner by the minute.

Chloe: And it's really freezing in here.

John: So you can all try to convince yourself that sharing is the answer. But I'm telling you, there's not enough to go around in the time we have left.

Chloe: How do we decide who gets the oxygen?

John: That's up to you. I got my hands full trying to save this jet.

Chloe: Should we draw straws or something?

Belle: For what?

Chloe: To decide who gets the oxygen.

Shawn D.: And what about everybody else, huh? What, do you just want us to sit there and watch our loved ones suffocate?

Steve: Listen, if we don't get busy and do something, none of us are gonna make it. Now, the baby gets a mask. I say all the other ones that are working go to the women.

Kayla: No, no. That's not the answer.

Hope: No, I agree. It's not.

Marlena: We share the masks. We'll all make it that way.

Bo: Fancy face, are you okay?

Hope: I just feel nauseous.

Marlena: Maybe it's airsickness.

Hope: I don't usually get airsick.

Chloe: I don't feel so good myself.

Shawn D.: I agree with Marlena. We share the masks, and we got to find a way to fix this plane.

Steve: That sounds good, Shawn.

Philip: Let's do it.

Steve: Okay, start sharing, everybody. We don't want anyone passing out.

John: All right, do whatever you want. I'm not passing this one around. I'm the last person you want to get light-headed at the moment.

Hope: Okay.

Abe: So, they're going directly from the airport to the hospital.

Lexie: Yeah.

Abe: Why couldn't they do anything when they were in Europe?

Lexie: As far as I know, Hope doesn't even know yet. Bo wanted to be the one to tell her, and with everything that went on with Colleen, he just never got the chance.

Abe: So, she doesn't know this condition could be fatal.

Lexie: No.

Abe: Well, thank God they're on their way back here.

Lexie: [Sighs] I hope it's not too late.

Chelsea: Too late for what?

John: And why is there no one looking at me like that?

Marlena: Because we realize that our lives are in your hands.

John: That's why I need the oxygen.

Marlena: And that makes sense.

Bo: Yeah, can't have you passing out. You're gonna pull us through this, John.

Hope: You always have in the past.

John: Did he? Well, then, looks like I have his reputation to maintain. That you remember a lot about flying this plane.

John: I'm not a mechanic. I have no idea how to fix these systems that were tampered with.

Marlena: Try it.

Steve: You know, I used to be pretty good at hot-wiring cars. I'm willing to give it a shot. How different could it be?

Bo: Well, that's reassuring. I'll go help them out.

Steve: Let's do it.

Hope: Hey. Oh.

Bo: I'm fine. I'm okay. I'm okay.

Marlena: Sit down, take your mask, keep breathing long, even breaths. Is everybody else okay?

Belle: Yeah, we're fine. I think sharing the mask is gonna work.

Steve: Okay, John, let's get to the cockpit, see what we can do.

John: Knock yourself out. I'm checking out the tail section for damage.

Steve: Well, thanks.

Shawn D.: Steve, I'm gonna go with you, okay?

Steve: No, man. You stay here with your wife and daughter. If I need you, I'll call you up front.

Philip: What about me, Steve?

Steve: You don't have anybody to share with you. You stay here with Chloe. Share oxygen.

Kayla: What are you gonna do about oxygen?

Steve: I'll use one of the pilots' masks.

Kayla: I don't want you to go.

Steve: Come on, baby. You know I've always wanted to fly something bigger than a puddle jumper. This is my big chance. Now you just relax and breathe and I'll be back, okay?

Kayla: Oh, my God. It's time. I can't believe that.

Steve: Hi, sweetness.

Kayla: Hey, how long till you can get home?

Steve: Well, I'm still at the pub. It's gonna be at least a couple hours.

Kayla: No, no, no, no. No hours. I need you here right now.

Steve: I can't just leave. It would be rude.

Kayla: "Rude"? Forget rude. I'm having my window. It's my w-- [Knock on door] there's somebody at the door. It's my window.

Steve: Well, I'll get there as soon as I can.

Kayla: Listen, this isn't a good time. I-I think you have the wrong room.

Steve: I guess I could come back later. [Laughs]

Kayla: Lexie.

Lexie: Kayla, hi.

Kayla: Hi, listen, I am sorry I cut you off last night, but Steve came in and, well, I just never really got a chance to call you back.

Lexie: Did you tell him you're pregnant?

Kayla: No. No, not yet. You know, I was thinking maybe I would just wait till we get home and, you know, arrange a nice, romantic dinner for two and then surprise him.

Lexie: Oh, that sounds wonderful. I'm so excited for you. [Chuckles]

Kayla: Oh, thanks. I know, it's crazy, isn't it? I mean, I have to say I wasn't sure I could really conceive a child at this point in our lives, and then when you told me I was pregnant, I just -- I was shocked and just so thrilled.

Philip: We're gonna get through this.

Chloe: Not according to John. I'm freezing, Philip. And I'm scared.

Belle: I hope Claire keeps sleeping.

Shawn D.: I'm glad she is.

Belle: Yeah, I think breathing the pure oxygen will keep her asleep.

Bo: I'm feeling better. Take a deep breath. Okay, here you go, Pop.

Shawn: No, you keep it, son. I can wait a while longer.

Bo: Pop, don't argue with me. Take it. Go ahead.

Hope: What is it? What's wrong?

Bo: My stomach hurts. Probably shouldn't have eaten all those pickled eggs.

Kayla: How could this have happened?

Marlena: I don't know, but we will get through this.

Kayla: Maybe you're right. Maybe I should have told Steve.

Marlena: Told him what?

Kayla: I'm pregnant.

Steve: There's no air in this place.

Abe: So, what are the two of you doing here?

Chelsea: I got a message from my dad saying that he and everybody were coming back today from Ireland, but when I called him to find out what time, he didn't answer.

Stephanie: Couldn't get my parents, either.

Abe: It's probably because they're in the air.

Chelsea: Which we figured, but we thought we'd come here and see if maybe you guys knew what time they were getting in.

Abe: No, no. I'm sorry, I donít.

Lexie: Abe's calling air-traffic control to see if he can find out what time they took off. [Dialing]

Abe: Yes, this is Commissioner Carver, Salem P.D. I was wondering if you could tell me the estimated time of arrival of a private jet owned by John Black. Thank you.

Stephanie: Is there a problem?

Abe: No, just checking.

Chelsea: You look a little worried. Is there something that you're not telling us?

Lexie: Oh, no. No, no, no. All I know is that Bo called and said that they'd be coming home sometime today.

Abe: Oh, yeah. Yes. Well, thank you. Thank you.

Stephanie: Well?

Abe: Well, they left Ireland a few hours ago. The last time the pilot called in, everything was fine. They should be here later tonight.

Chelsea: Great. I, for one, can't wait to hear about what happened there.

Stephanie: I am just excited everyone is coming home today.

Steve: [Breathing shallowly]

Marlena: Steve doesn't know you're pregnant? I was gonna tell him when we got back, you know, over a nice, romantic dinner.

Marlena: You have to keep your own mask. You can't deprive the fetus.

Kayla: I know. I just want to help Steve.

Marlena: Don't be foolish. You can't do anything to endanger this baby.

Kayla: I just want to help.

Marlena: I know. Try praying that John and Steve find a way to get this plane back under our control.

Belle: Mom.

Marlena: Belle, try to stay calm. We have at least an hour of air left. That's plenty of time to have those men figure out what's wrong and get it fixed.

Belle: Not without dad. Are you sure he knows what he's doing?

[Curtain opens]

John: I don't know what the hell I'm looking at back there. [Chuckles]

Shawn D.: Belle, take the mask and take care of Claire.

Belle: No, we are sharing the mask. Stop talking like that.

Chloe: Won't people realize there's something wrong when they don't hear from us?

Philip: Yeah, but they won't know why.

Chloe: Don't airplanes have backup systems?

Philip: Sure.

Chloe: Why aren't they kicking in? Why can't we get control?

Philip: Because whoever sabotaged this plane knew what they were doing.

Chloe: Oh, my God.

Kayla: What are you doing?

John: I'm thinking.

Kayla: Well, you need to think harder. If this was a hospital and a patient's life was on the line, I would be thinking while I'm trying to save their life. Because that's what I do. And this is what you do. You rise to the occasion. Now, my husband is in the cockpit trying to change our circumstances. You need to get up and you need to go help him, because that is what you did at one time.

John: What I need...is for people to stop telling me what to do and how I should do it. But most of all, I don't need to hear about the kind of guy I used to be. Okay?

Hope: Here.

Shawn: No.

Hope: Yes. We keep sharing the oxygen the way we have been. Come on, Shawn.

Bo: Pop.

Shawn: We won't make it, Hope. And with one less person using it, there will be more oxygen to go around.

Bo: Come on, Pop, that's crazy talk.

Shawn: Well, it makes perfect sense to me, son. I'm the oldest person on this plane. I've lived a long life, and I've made my peace with my sister, Colleen. And now itís time to make peace with God.

Hope: No, I won't let you talk like that. You have everything to live for, just like we all do. Now take it. No one is giving up, Shawn. Please take this and breathe.

Bo: Pop, come on. Take it now. Go ahead, breathe.

Hope: Breathe.

Bo: Do it. Pop is right about one thing. With only two of us sharing this, there's a much better chance of survival.

Hope: No one is giving up their oxygen, Brady. No one.

Bo: Take it, Pop.

Hope: Take it.

Bo: Fancy Face, there's something I got to tell you.

John: Come on. Breathe or die. I can't play nursemaid. I don't have any time.

Chloe: [Shivering] Philip, I'm really scared, and it's getting colder by the minute. I haven't felt any change in speed or direction.

Philip: I'll go find out what's going on.

Chloe: No, don't leave me.

Philip: Here, you can use the oxygen.

Chloe: What are you gonna breathe?

Philip: I'll share with Steve or John.

Chloe: Do you really want to count on John for sharing?

Philip: Look, I can't just sit here and do nothing, Chloe.

Chloe: Philip, please, if you leave, I'm gonna freak out. And if you pass out or worse because you don't have any oxygen, I'll never forgive myself.

Philip: All right. I'll stay, but if something happens and they need me...

Chloe: Okay, but please, right now, I need you, Philip, so just stay.

Philip: Calm down.

Shawn D.: Belle, I feel the same way Philip does. I should be up there helping.

Belle: No. I feel the same way Chloe does. Claire and I need you, and you need to stay here with us.

Shawn D.: Okay.

Belle: If there was something you could do, they would tell you.

Shawn D.: Okay, fine. I'll stay here with you and Claire.

Hope: Here. What are you talking about, Brady, huh?

Bo: I'm sick. Very sick. I'm sorry I didn't tell you before this.

Hope: What?

Shawn: What did you say?

Bo: They think I have cancer, Pop.

Hope: Cancer?

Bo: Yeah.

Hope: My God. [Breathing heavily] This is the secret you've been keeping from me. I thought you didn't want to tell me yet.

Bo: Yeah, I wanted to wait till there was a definite prognosis, but it really doesn't matter now.

Hope: What are you talking about? Of course it matters.

Shawn: How long have you known this?

Bo: Since Kay and Steve brought you to Ireland, and that's why they brought you.

Hope: That can't be true. Kayla's wrong.

Bo: No, she's not. Not according to the tests that they've already run. So, I did want to tell you, but...the time, it was never right.

Hope: "Never right"? You should have told me the moment you knew, Brady.

Shawn: How bad is it, son?

Bo: Pop, there's a possibility that some of us aren't gonna make it back to Salem. And even if I do...there's a good chance I'll die. So here. Here. You guys keep the oxygen, okay?

Shawn: That won't be happening. No.

Bo: Pop, I can out stubborn both of you, so just let me go. Let me go. It'll probably be an awful lot easier than what I'm facing.

Shawn: I won't let you do that, Bo. Now take this. Take this and breathe, damn it. Breathe!

Hope: Breathe, breathe.

Shawn: That's right. That's good. Now you.

Hope: Okay, now you. Listen to me -- we still have almost an hour left of air, okay? So we're gonna just keep doing what we're doing and we're gonna pray that Steve and John get this -- control of this plane back, okay? And no arguments and no more talking, either one of you. Do you hear me, Brady? I'm not giving up. You're not gonna give up on me.

Bo: Okay.

Kayla: I'm so worried about Steve.

Marlena: I think Steve and John will be okay in the cockpit. There should be some o2 in there.

Kayla: I hope so. What if John is programmed to kill himself because he failed his mission?

Marlena: That programming should not affect him anymore.

Kayla: But what if it does? What if he doesn't give a damn whether he lives or dies? What if he doesn't give a damn if any of us live or die?

John: I wonder how long a human being can go without breathing. This could be an interesting way to find out.

Abe: Chelsea, look, I'm happy to have this chance to tell you how relieved I am this business with Ford Decker's death has been resolved.

Chelsea: Yeah, I'm just glad that it's over.

Stephanie: We all are.

Lexie: Have you spoken to your mom?

Chelsea: Yeah, yeah. She's good. She's thrilled to be back in London. She's got herself a nice, little flat. She seems to be really happy.

Lexie: Well, that's good. Tell her I'm happy for her.

Abe: Look, the two of you don't have to wait around. I'll give you a call as soon as I get news about John's plane's E.T.A.

Stephanie: Okay. All right, sounds good. [Telephone rings] Let us know.

Lexie: Bye. Very good seeing you.

Abe: Commissioner carver. Girls, hang on, hang on. It's the air-traffic control. Yes, yes, I'll hold.

John: [Grunts] Relax, I'm working on it. But I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you. [Chuckles] We run out of air?

Philip: A little over 30 minutes.

Shawn D.: From what John said, we got about 45 minutes left of fuel, but we don't have enough oxygen to last that long. Belle, I need to go up there and I need to do what I can to try to get this plane on the ground safely, okay?

Belle: No, no, no! You are not leaving me here.

Chloe: Do you have any idea who might have done this? You and your father have been pretty ruthless in business.

Philip: You think whoever did this might be after me?

Chloe: Or your father, and they're trying to get back at him by killing you.

Philip: You could be a target, too, Chloe.

Chloe: Do you think that's possible?

Philip: Anything is possible. Give me that.

Kayla: I got to go check on Steve.

Marlena: No, no! You stay put. Don't you move. I'll do it. I'll do it.

Bo: To hell with this. I'm gonna go up and see what's going on. [Loud bang] [Screaming]

Hope: God, are you okay?

Kayla: Is everybody okay?

Hope: Is the baby good?

John: [Groans] Not good. Lost a little bit, but it's better than nothing. Don't tell me I've been wasting my time on a dead man. Come on, buddy, breathe.

Hope: Oh, my God. He's unconscious.

Shawn D.: All right, let's get him back into his seat. Come on, Dad.

Philip: Are you all right?

Marlena: I'm okay, but I think my tube broke.

Kayla: That's all right. Philip, you can take your seat. I'll share my mask with her.

Marlena: No, you can't do that.

Kayla: Listen to me -- if they don't find a way to land this plane, we're gonna run out of oxygen and we'll all die. Now breathe.

Marlena: Okay. Take it from me.

Shawn D.: Right there. That's it. Here, give me the blanket.

Hope: Okay. Okay, honey, go back to your seat. I'll take care of your dad.

Shawn D.: Are you sure?

Hope: Yes, go.

Hope: Thanks, Shawn.

Shawn: No, I'm not taking any more.

Hope: Yes, you are.

Shawn: No, I'm not taking any more. There's not enough for all three of us. You have to let me go.

John: Come on, man. You got 60 seconds and then you're on your own. Come on. Come on, snap out of it! Come on. A pro.

Shawn D.: Listen, we have to make sure that Claire gets oxygen no matter what.

Belle: What are you saying?

Shawn D.: What you didn't want to hear me say before. We have to start preparing for the worst.

Kayla: I know. I know.

Bo: Pop, come on. Breathe, Pop, or I'll hold you down and make you.

Shawn: You're as stubborn as always.

Bo: Yeah, well, so are you.

Shawn: I'm old, Bo.

Bo: Well, I'm sick, and I'm dying, so I win.

Hope: I won't accept that, Brady.

Bo: I didn't want to accept it at first, either. But it's true.

Shawn: We don't have time to argue, son. I won't let you sacrifice yourself!

Bo: And I'm not gonna let you sacrifice yourself. Breathe. Breathe. [Coughs]

Hope: You. You.

Bo: The two of you are gonna survive. This.

Abe: Yeah, I see. All right, let me know the minute that you do. The, uh...pilot didn't check in when he was supposed to, and the tracking station in Reykjavik hasn't made radio contact.

John: Breathe. Breathe right now. Come on, come on. Snap out of it. There you go. Breathe.

Steve: [Wheezing]

John: That's it. Come on.

Steve: [Coughs]

John: Come on, breathe.

Steve: No! Get off of me! Go! [Coughing] Where are we?!

John: Well, I got good news and I got bad news. The good news is you're breathing again. The bad news is...not much longer.

Shawn D.: Do you want us to be together, Belle? Do you really think that we can make it work?

Belle: I'd like to think that this whole experience could be a new beginning for us -- for our family and for our marriage. Do you think it could be?

Shawn D.: I'm not angry anymore at what you've done. And Philip and I have...made our peace. But can I just forget everything that's happened?

Belle: S-Shawn.

Shawn D.: What?

Belle: I love you with all my heart and all my soul. I've never loved anyone like I love you.

Chloe: I can't believe I might never see Brady again or my parents.

Philip: There's still a chance you will, Chloe.

Chloe: I don't know if I believe you.

Philip: Just keep believing and keep breathing.

Kayla: There's still a chance that they could fix it.

Marlena: Yes, t-there is.

Kayla: I should have told Steve about the baby.

Marlena: You will. You'll tell him. Right now, he has to be up there helping John.

Kayla: You really do have faith, don't you?

Marlena: I do because John came back to me, so I think that anything can happen.

Kayla: You're right. My pregnancy is proof of that.

Marlena: One day, you will have the most amazing story to tell your child about what happened this day on the plane.

Hope: Take it. Here.

Bo: I'm sick. I'm dying. It makes sense that you're the one to live.

Shawn: That's nonsense. It's time for me to go...to join my sister.

Hope: Brady, take it. I can't -- I can't let you do this.

Bo: You have to. I love you, Fancy Face.

Hope: No, Bo, no. [Sobbing]

Shawn: You can't fight it now. Breathing is a reflex.

Hope: [Sobbing] Please, Brady, breathe. [Sobbing]

Shawn: No, Hope, no. I'm ready. I'll die happy knowing that I saved my son. You have to let me do this, Hope. Please.

Hope: Kay, is what Bo has -- is he gonna die?

Abe: The plane just went off radar.

Caroline: Dear God.

John: This is it.

Steve: Aah! [Screaming]
