Stephanie: [Moaning] [Groaning] No! Stop! Get off me! Get off me!
Max: Hey. Hey. Hey. Steph, Steph, it's me. You had a nightmare. It's okay. It's over. Hey.
Stephanie: [Breathing heavily]
Hope: Notice how Caroline disappeared with Claire?
Kayla: Yes, I did notice. She said she had a surprise in the kitchen, and no one has seen them since.
Hope: She's exactly the same way with Ciara. It's wonderful how much time she spends with the kids. Oh, wait a second. Speaking of kids...how did your appointment go with the fertility doctor?
Kayla: It went great.
Kayla: You know, Dr. Walters was very encouraging and supportive, and I really loved that. It turns out that this particular doctor has a great success rate with helping women of my age conceive.
Hope: Oh, please. Come on.
Kayla: I'm a bit over the hill.
Hope: I was not gonna say that. Not at all.
Kayla: Well, tell my body that.
Hope: What is it gonna take to make this happen, besides the usual?
Kayla: Well, it's really not that involved at first. You just take your temperature, see when the time is right.
Hope: And try and try again. That doesn't sound too bad.
Kayla: And Steve has to go see the doctor and get checked out and then it's a go. In fact, he has to see Dr. Walters today.
Kayla: He hasn't even tried to get out of it.
Hope: Why would he? I thought you said he was totally on board with this whole thing now.
Kayla: Well, he says he is.
Hope: You don't believe him?
Kayla: You know how he is. He'll do anything to make me happy.
Hope: Which is great. It's wonderful.
Kayla: Yeah, but with something like this --
Hope: I understand. You don't want him doing this just for you.
Kayla: No. I just want him to want it as much as I do. And I just wish I knew for sure.
Steve: So, Abe's putting the pressure on, huh?
Roman: He wants an arrest made soon.
Steve: Don't we all.
Bo: Stakes are getting higher. It's not only about John's death anymore.
Steve: I heard Brady Black is missing.
Bo: Yeah, and Lucas was attacked in his jail cell.
Roman: On top of that, Marlena, Belle, and Claire are being threatened.
Steve: This is way out of control.
Roman: It gets better. Marlena is convinced that, that so-called psychic, Crystal, is somehow at the center of this, and she might not be too far off the mark.
Bo: No. Scared the hell out of Belle the other day. Sent this threatening message through Hope that Marlena is in danger.
Steve: So, you really think this psychic is mixed up with the DiMeras?
Roman: Doesn't make much sense, though, does it?
Bo: We checked out the building that she's supposedly doing business out of. It was rented out a couple of months ago to this dummy corporation in South America.
Steve: South America?
Roman: Yeah, it gets a little tangled from there, but the owner is somebody named C.B. DiMera.
Steve: What the hell?
Bo: Not exactly a common name, but so far there's no connection to Stefano.
Roman: None we've been able to find, anyway.
Steve: Come on. There's got to be.
Bo: Obviously they want us to know or else they would have used a different name.
Steve: Have you searched the place?
Roman: No. We'd like to, but the judge denied the warrant, said we lacked probably cause.
Bo: Probable cause. Stefano DiMera is alive. That should be cause enough.
Stefano: John. What are you doing here? Have you studied the dossier I gave you? This one, huh? You have to -- easy. You have to memorize every word of this backwards and forwards.
[Sighs] God. Um, what's wrong with you? Why are you behaving this way?
John: I want to go out.
Stefano: You brought me joy, Marlena... my queen.
Marlena: Your queen... is what you've made me. And you've also made me... your killer. Deep inside, that instinct still lives. It's a darkness that you put in my soul. And when it comes out, Stefano, it will come out with a vengeance.
Marlena: School today?
Belle: I wish. No, I'm going to pick up Claire from the pub. Shawn's at the academy all day and left here there with Hope.
Marlena: She must be the last person you want to see right now.
Belle: I'm sure the feeling's mutual. I can't tell you how much I'm dreading this. She must hate me more than ever.
Marlena: She doesn't hate you. She might be a little angry with you.
Belle: Oh, a little? No, I think very angry.
Marlena: Honey, Shawn's her son. She's protecting him.
Belle: Tell me about it.
Marlena: Don't you forget one thing. You are the mother of her grandchild and the daughter of a very close friend of hers.
Belle: Well, I don't think she's gonna cut me any slack, Mom. I know how tough she can be.
Marlena: She's tough, but she's fair.
Belle: That's exactly what I'm afraid of. But I should probably get going and get this over with.
Marlena: Good luck.
Belle: Thank you. You sure you don't want to come with me?
Marlena: Uh, no. No, I'd like to, but I've got an appointment I can't break.
Belle: Is it a patient?
Marlena: No, a friend that we have to get something settled with.
Belle: Okay. Well, I'm gonna see you later then.
Marlena: You stay safe. Keep that bodyguard close by.
Belle: I will. You be safe, too.
Marlena: Yeah, I'll be fine. I can take care of myself.
Belle: Okay. Bye.
Marlena: Bye, sweetie.
Officer: Excuse me, Miss Brady. If you're leaving, I'll have to go with you.
Belle: It's probably a good idea. I might need some protection from my future ex-mother-in-law.
Rob: That cop's not gonna leave her side. There's no way we can get her and the kid now.
Crystal: The police are all over Belle. What do you want us to do?
Steve: So, no search warrant, huh? That's kind of a bummer.
Roman: Yeah. Who's gonna tell Marlena, you or me?
Bo: Hey, not me, not after yesterday.
Steve: What happened yesterday?
Roman: Marlena had a little bit of a flame out at the police station, but I can't say as I blame her with what's going on.
Steve: You know, there are ways around not having a search warrant.
Roman: Well, talk to me.
Steve: A little bit of after-hours snooping. You dudes want to keep your hands clean, the Patch man is at your service.
Kayla: Oh, not today he's not. You have that appointment at the doctor's today, remember? Hospital?
Steve: Of course I remember, baby. The time -- it's time to go. I got to go. My offer still stands. You just let me know.
Roman: Thanks, dude.
Steve: Hey, what are you doing?
Kayla: I'm warming you up.
Steve: All right, I'll let you know what happens. Give me a kiss for good luck.
Kayla: You sure you don't want me to go with you?
Steve: I can handle it.
Kayla: Do you really want to do this? I mean, do you really want to do this?
Steve: Why do you keep asking me that, baby? I'm starting to think you don't believe me.
Stephanie: I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to break down like that. I feel like an idiot.
Max: You shouldn’t. It's – it's okay.
Stephanie: I just wish the nightmares would stop.
Max: Have you thought about talking to someone?
Stephanie: I talk to you and Cordy and my mom.
Max: No, I mean like a professional, a therapist, like maybe Marlena?
Stephanie: Marlena's on leave of absence. Plus, I don't want to put this on her after everything she's going through.
Max: Maybe there's somebody else. Kay must know someone at the hospital.
Stephanie: She likes Dr. Whitney. She wants me to go, but...
Max: But what? Maybe she can help you.
Stephanie: I doubt it.
Max: How do you know unless you try, huh? I mean, you said yourself. You want the nightmares to stop.
Stephanie: I do. But as bad as they are, I just think they're on the surface.
Max: What do you mean?
Stephanie: That there's a lot more going on deep down inside and it's a thousand times worse, and I don't want to go there.
Max: I understand it can be scary, but if you want to get past it... [ Sighs] All right. God knows I am not an expert. But it's just like if you try and fix a car, right? To fix it right, sometimes you got to take it apart piece by piece.
Stephanie: You're comparing me to a car?
Max: Yeah. But with the heart of a turbo charged v-8 engine, of course. Look... ...I'm serious. I know you can do this. You just got to give it a try, you know?
Stephanie: I'm not sure I can. The idea of reliving it all over again... I don't think I can do it.
Max: Well, what if you had someone, hmm, with you, someone like me?
Stefano: Need I remind you that you have already been out? And each time, you have been spotted. You see, we were lucky that no one saw your face, John. Because if anybody were to recognize you -- I have told you time and time again that you are a wanted fugitive. If they see you, they will arrest you, throw you in jail, and you will never get out. And we can't have that happen. We have too much for you to do for us.
Dr. Rolf: Stefano, we have a visitor. Marlena Evans is outside. She wants to see you now.
Stefano: Tell her to leave.
Dr. Rolf: I tried. She refuses.
Stefano: Just stall her, all right? I need a few more minutes here, and then I will deal with her.
Dr. Rolf: Very well.
Stefano: All right, we have to get you out of here. No, no, no. Go easy. Look, here. Okay. You will have this so you can listen to every word, as you should. Come on. One thing you have to be very careful -- do not make any noise whatsoever. You hear? And do not show yourself, no matter what happens. All right, son? Okay. Okay.
Dr. Rolf: Look, I told you. He's indisposed.
Marlena: I got your indisposed. Come on, come on. Rolf, I thought you were dead. It's good to see you alive again. So, where is -- where is Brady? I want to know what you've done with John's son.
Kayla: It's not that I don't believe you. It's just that I know you so well.
Steve: What do you mean by that?
Kayla: It's just that you changed your mind so quickly. And I want to know once and for all that you're not just doing this for me.
Steve: Listen to me, baby. You know I would do anything for you. And you know that because of my past, I would never bring a child into this world that I didn't want with all of my heart and soul.
Kayla: Okay. I'm sorry. I don't mean to be neurotic or crazy. It's just once we get started with this, we really can't go back. And I want to make sure that we're on the same page.
Steve: We are, sweetness. I promise.
Stephanie: It's done. Dr. Whitney can see me this morning.
Max: Okay, good. You're doing the right thing. Why don't you get dressed, and then I'll drive you down there?
Stephanie: You've done enough already. You stayed with me all night.
Max: Steph, I want to be here. I want to help you. Now, look, just get ready. We don't want to be late.
Stephanie: Max. Thank you. Thanks for everything. After the horrible way I treated you --
Max: Hey, we're friends. All right? What I said last night about me being here every step of the way, I meant it.
Stefano: Marlena, I don't know anything about Brady Black. Why, has the boy disappeared?
Marlena: You know that he has. You're up to your eyeballs in this thing. So, tell me, where is Brady? And what did Chloe have to do with all this? And tell me about the psychic and what she's doing in this mess.
Stefano: I don't have the slightest clue as to what you are talking about, Marlena. I barely know Chloe. And my dear old friend Celeste is the only psychic, bogus or otherwise, that I know. And, last but not least, I have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with Brady's disappearance.
Marlena: And you had nothing to do with John's death and nothing to do with the fight with Lucas in the jail and nothing to do with Lexie disappearing under your house. Funny how so much goes on around here that has nothing to do with you.
Stefano: I'm sorry, Marlena, but I can't help you. Dr. Rolf will escort you out.
Marlena: I'm not going anywhere. Step back from me right now.
Bo: We should take a drive out there.
Roman: Crystal's storefront?
Bo: If someone's around, maybe we can get inside by being a little...
Bo: I was thinking insistent.
Roman: I think it's worth a shot.
Bo: Hey, Belle.
Belle: Hi, Roman. Bo.
Roman: Hey, Belle. Good, I'm glad you got your bodyguard with you here. Good girl. Don't you let her out of your sight. Okay, we'll see you both later.
Hope: I'm the one who's gone out of her way to give you the benefit of the doubt.
Belle: Oh, please. How can you even say that? As soon as you found out about Philip and me, you turned around and told the entire town -- Bo, Kayla, my mother, God knows who else. If you had respect for me or for Shawn, you would have kept your mouth shut.
Hope: You're lecturing me right now?
Belle: You know what? I have always admired you and Bo, and the kind of marriage you two have is exactly what I want with Shawn. You've had your difficult spots and you got through them. And so will Shawn and I, so just stop judging me.
Hope: I'm not. That is not what this is about. It's about trust. And you lost mine when you slept with Philip.
Belle: Yeah, and I'm never gonna be able to earn that back. You've made that very clear.
Hope: How many chances have I given you? I've given you enough.
Belle: No. What you have given me are tests, and you're gonna make sure I fail with flying colors, aren't you?
Hope: Don't you dare look for pity from me. Trust is earned, and you throw it away in one afternoon.
Belle: Well, I got a couple words for you, Hope. Patrick Lockhart.
Hope: Who are you? I don't even know who you are. I don't recognize you.
Belle: Nobody's perfect. You of all people should know that.
Hope: There's no such thing as perfect. We both know that. [Sighs] Belle, I have watched you grow up since you were a baby with two parents who have --
Belle: I don't want to hear any more of this, okay? I know that I'm not the daughter-in-law you were dreaming for, and I never will be. But I am married to Shawn. And if you don't like it, it's your problem.
Hope: Steve is so excited. He can't wait. Hey, Belle. Uh, Claire's in the kitchen with Caroline.
Kayla: You know what? I'll go see if I can wrestle her away from my mom.
Hope: Thank you. How's your mom?
Belle: Um, she's still having a hard time with everything, but she's okay.
Hope: Well, please, let me know if there's anything I can do to help.
Belle: I will. Hope, I'm so sorry. I know I messed up, and I know it's my fault.
Hope: Yes, it is.
Marlena: This is one of John's old revolvers. I like it because the serial number's been scraped off. It can't be traced.
Stefano: Oh, right, then that makes it very convenient.
Marlena: I could blow you away and never get caught. Nobody even knows that I'm here.
Stefano: Marlena, Rolf will know.
Marlena: I'll save you a bullet, Rolf. Killed by the gun of the man you killed. That's how I like my irony served up.
Stefano: All right. Look, Marlena, if you're gonna shoot me, shoot me, huh? All right? What are you waiting for? Go ahead, Marlena. Do it. Unless you can’t.
Marlena: We both know that I can. I wouldn't hesitate. Stay away from me. I swear I will shoot you. Stop! [Gunshots] Sirens
Steve: Hey, there.
Steve: How's your day going?
Kathy: It's going all right. How's yours?
Steve: Good, good. I'm here for some tests. Can you tell me where Dr. Walker's office is, please?
Kathy: Yeah, it's down that hall on your right.
Stephanie: Hi. I have an appointment with Dr. Whitney. I'm Stephanie Johnson.
Kathy: One moment, Stephanie.
Stephanie: Hey. Thank you for coming with me. I'm not sure I would have made it here otherwise.
Max: Don't worry about it. I-I love hospitals. I got to work on the lying thing.
Dr. Whitney: Stephanie?
Dr. Whitney: Hi. I'm Dr. Whitney.
Stephanie: Nice to meet you.
Dr. Whitney: Are you ready?
Stephanie: Yes. Just one thing before we get started. I know you know my mom.
Dr. Whitney: Yes, I do. But I can assure you whatever we discuss stays strictly between us.
Stephanie: Okay, good. I just -- I don't want my dad knowing I was here. He'd freak if he knew anything. It's just how he is.
Dr. Whitney: I understand. What do you say we go in and get started?
Belle: I don't blame you for being happy that my marriage to Shawn is over.
Hope: I'm not happy. Shawn's devastated. Claire is upset. I hurt for all of you, yourself included, Belle.
Belle: Thank you.
Hope: I'm just glad the truth is finally out in the open. No more secrets.
Belle: Yeah, no more secrets.
Kayla: Look who I wrestled from her great-grandmother.
Belle: Look at all that icing on your face.
Hope: Luckily pink's her color.
Belle: Well, let's get going, shall we? Say bye-bye.
Hope: Bye, sweetheart. I love you. I'll see you later, okay, honey?
Kayla: So, what happened?
Hope: I told her that I hurt for all of them, herself included.
Kayla: Good. You don't want to alienate her. There's a good chance that she and Shawn will work this out.
Hope: Yeah. There is always a chance.
Bo: Looks like someone's moving around in there. I doubt it's Crystal, though.
Roman: Hey! Open up! Police!
Bo: Hey. Salem P.D. I was wondering if we could have a moment of your time.
Rob: I was just leaving.
Roman: You know what? This will just take a second.
Rob: What do you want?
Bo: We'd like to know who you are, what you're doing here.
Rob: I'm working on renovations. I have every right to be here.
Roman: Renovations. No tools, no materials.
Bo: No other workmen.
Rob: We haven't started yet. Look, what's this about?
Roman: We'd like to speak to the owner.
Rob: You're out of luck. He's not in the country.
Bo: Have a name?
Rob: Never spoken to him myself.
Roman: Does "C.B. DiMera" ring a bell? it's coverage you won't see anywhere else.
Rob: DiMera. Does sound kind of familiar. Hasn't that name been in the news?
Bo: Yeah, the DiMeras have been in the news lately, for all the wrong reasons.
Roman: If you're working for them, you're making a big mistake.
Rob: I really don't know anything about it, as long as the checks clear.
Roman: Who writes those checks?
Rob: Some company name. I honestly don't know at the moment.
Bo: You should try that ginkgo biloba. Great stuff. Hey, you mind if we take a look around?
Rob: You mean like search the place? Do you have a warrant?
Roman: We thought you would prefer keeping lawyers out of it.
Rob: You thought wrong. Sorry.
Bo: Nice chatting with you.
Hope: Have you heard from Marlena lately?
Kayla: Nope. I haven’t.
Hope: According to Belle, she's not doing very well. She's really pushed the edge.
Kayla: Who can blame her? She just lost John, now Brady's missing, her son-in-law was nearly murdered, and Claire and Belle were accosted by that psychic lady.
Hope: Her name's Crystal, who seems to be stalking her, as well. It's driving Marlena crazy. The police haven't been able to make an arrest.
Kayla: I just hope she doesn't take matters into her own hands and do something that she ends up regretting.
Stefano: My God. You are insane, Marlena.
Marlena: You've driven me to it. I told you I wasn't bluffing.
Stefano: Fool, you could have killed me.
Marlena: Exactly. Why don't you call the police? I'll dial it for you. Oh, we can't do that because if the police come, they might want to search the entire place. And who knows what they would find here.
Stefano: I don't mean to be rude, but you can leave now.
Marlena: I'm going. I'm going. I'm going. Those shots were a warning. Next time, I won't miss.
Stefano: [Chuckling] [Footsteps departing] [Laughing] Oh, God. I've got to admit it. She's really something.
Bo: I think it's safe to say this place is somehow involved. Something's going on here.
Roman: I think you're right. Obviously our friend didn't want to leave his name.
Bo: Yeah, he could tell us a thing or two about C.B. DiMera, but we don't have a warrant.
Roman: But we could stake out this place 24-7.
Bo: Put me down for the night shift.
Stephanie: [Voice breaking] All I could do was lie there. Ford pressed himself on top of me. He ripped open my dress, and he put his hand over my throat so I couldn't scream. [Sobbing] And then he raped me.
Dr. Whitney: Kathy, set Stephanie up for two appointments a week. Stephanie, I think we got off to a very good start. I'll see you in a few days.
Stephanie: Okay. I'll be here. Thank you, Dr. Whitney.
Dr. Whitney: You're very welcome.
Max: [Clears throat] You okay?
Stephanie: Yeah. I mean, it's always hard talking about it, but Dr. Whitney was great. She said a lot of things that made sense, kind of gave me hope.
Max: That's fantastic.
Stephanie: At one point, she asked me if I'd ever been in an accident or broken a bone, and I told her about our wreck on the racetrack and how much pain we were in for weeks.
Max: That was pretty bad.
Dr. Whitney: She asked if I still felt it, the pain, and I said, no, I've recovered. And she said that's the best thing that we have going for us. We can remember being in pain. But once it's gone, we don't actually feel it. We're all built to heal.
Max: Right. Right. I like that. It does make sense, doesn't it?
Stephanie: Yeah. Listen, thank you for getting me to come here. I mean, you're right. This is what I need.
Max: You don't have to keep thanking me.
Stephanie: Right. You love hospitals.
Max: Right. You know what else I'd love? I'd love something to eat 'cause I'm starving. Want to get some lunch? I'll buy.
Stephanie: Yeah. I'm actually hungry for the first time in a while. Plus, you're buying.
Steve: Hey. What are you two doing here?
Dr. Whitney: Stephanie, you forgot your prescription. I know this will help you sleep.
Stephanie: Thank you.
Steve: Baby, what do you need sleeping pills for? You okay?
Max: I'm gonna let you guys talk. [Clears throat]
Steve: I'm worried about you, baby girl. Come on, now. Tell me what's going on.
Stephanie: You don't have to be worried. I talked to mom about it. It's fine.
Steve: It's fine?
Stephanie: Yeah, mom's actually the one who set me up with Dr. Whitney. I just -- I had some stuff on my mind, and I needed someone to talk to about it. It's no big deal.
Steve: It's none of your papa's business, huh?
Stephanie: No, that's not what I mean.
Steve: Oh, it's okay. Come here. I know how it is. Some things are, you know, personal, girl stuff between mothers and daughters. I know that.
Steve: I'm not gonna pry. I just want to make sure that you know that if you're ever in trouble, if you need anything at all, I'm here for you.
Stephanie: I know that.
Steve: I hope you do. I love you, baby.
Stephanie: I love you, too. And, plus, what are you doing here? Are you okay?
Steve: Yeah, I'm good. I'm just here for a check-up, just making sure the guts are holding out all right.
Stephanie: Well, I hope that goes well for you. Listen, Max and I have plans, so I should probably get going.
Steve: Okay, I don't want to hold you up. You have a good time.
Stephanie: Love you.
Steve: Love you, too, baby. I'll see you later, Maxwell.
Max: All right, Steve. What did you tell him?
Stephanie: Nothing. But I know him. He's gonna go straight to my mom, and he won't stop until he knows the truth.
Hope: [Laughs] Oh!
Bo: Hey, gorgeous.
Hope: My goodness. Hey.
Bo: Got any plans for the evening?
Hope: Uh, as a matter of fact, I'm free. Why?
Bo: How'd you like to spend a romantic evening with your favorite guy?
Hope: Hmm. I'd love to, but my favorite guy is out of town.
Bo: Oh, you think that's funny? That's not funny.
Hope: What do you have in mind?
Bo: How about a hot cup of coffee in the backseat of a cold car?
Hope: Thank God. A stakeout. Thank God. Because, honestly, I thought that my very handsome husband was gonna say dinner and dancing.
Kayla: Lucky you.
Hope: Yeah, lucky me. So, when am I gonna get debriefed?
Bo: [Chuckles] I'd like to debrief you right now.
Kayla: Okay, you know, I'll leave you guys to your debriefing and your stakeout.
Hope: See you later, sweetie. Now all I have to do is decide what I'm gonna wear.
Steve: There's my beautiful wife.
Steve: Hi, baby.
Steve: How you doing? Hey, Beauregard. So, how are things on the storefront front?
Bo: We'll see.
Steve: Okay, well, you know, I'm still there for you if you need me.
Bo: Thanks, man.
Steve: Bye, Hope.
Kayla: Okay, so that was fast.
Steve: I just thought about you. [Laughs]
Kayla: Did Dr. Walters examine you?
Steve: Let's do it, baby. Let's make a baby.
Kayla: Steve. Oh, Steve. I love you.
Steve: I love you so much, sweetness.
Steve: It's a girl. It's a little girl. Baby girl. Oh, boy. Oh.
Kayla: Oh, Steve.
Kayla: Want to see papa?
Steve: Oh. She's so tiny. She's just a little, tiny thing. So beautiful... just like her mama.
Kayla: Mama. That's me. I'm a mother.
Steve: I'm a daddy. This is the best day of my life. Thank you, sweetness. Thank you for our little girl.
Stephanie: He's gonna go straight to my mom and get her to tell him why I'm seeing a shrink. I should have never told him my mom was involved.
Max: Steph, would it really be so horrible if he knew?
Stephanie: You honestly have to ask that? Come on. You know my dad. Yeah, he can be the coolest guy in the world, but --
Max: Yeah, he can get crazy. Ford is -- there's not a whole lot he can do to him.
Stephanie: He'll still freak out. He'll go nuts, and I just can't take that right now. And neither can my mom. They just got back to having a halfway normal life, at least normal for Salem.
Max: I know. Maybe he won't even go to Kay. Maybe he'll just respect your privacy, just like you asked.
Stephanie: I can't take the chance.
Max: So, what are you gonna do?
Stephanie: I'm calling my mom. I have to do damage control.
Kayla: I'm not gonna get too excited because it's actually a long time before we conceive, probably.
Steve: The worst thing that can happen is we end up adopting. That's still fine by me.
Kayla: Me too.
Steve: And in the meantime, we have a lot of fun trying. [Cellphone ringing]
Kayla: Oh, hold that thought. One second. Ooh, it's our firstborn baby girl.
Steve: I'll give you a little girl-talk privacy.
Kayla: Okay. Hey, baby, what's up?
Stephanie: Dad just saw me at Dr. Whitney's office.
Kayla: You went to Dr. Whitney? I am so relieved.
Stephanie: Yeah, except now dad knows that I'm seeing a shrink.
Kayla: He knows?
Stephanie: Well, he said he wouldn't pry, but obviously he'll go straight to you and try to ask you what's going on. Promise me you won't tell him what happened.
Kayla: I will tell you something. He is right here, and he has not said a word to me.
Stephanie: Are you serious?
Kayla: Yeah. You know, baby, you need to learn to trust your dad. He is full of surprises.
Stephanie: Yeah, he is.
Kayla: But listen, I promise you, I will not say a word to anyone until you give me permission.
Stephanie: Okay, thank you. Sorry for being so paranoid.
Kayla: It's all right. I think you're allowed.
Stephanie: Okay, well, I guess I'll call you later, okay? I love you.
Kayla: Hey, wait. Wait, wait, wait, wait. How did the session go?
Stephanie: It was good. I'll tell you all about it when I see you.
Kayla: Love you. Mm-hmm.
Steve: What are you smiling about?
Kayla: Nothing. I just love you. That's all.
Steve: I love you, too. Is everything all right?
Kayla: Yeah. I think now everything's gonna be fine. Why don't we go home and celebrate your test results?
Steve: I know just how we can do that.
Kayla: Yeah? Am I gonna like it?
Steve: Yeah, I learned some new techniques at the doctor's office.
Stephanie: I can't believe it. He didn't ask my mom about me. He kept his promise.
Max: See? There you go. Some people come through when you least expect it.
Stephanie: They sure do.
Belle: Thank you. And, uh, thanks for guarding us.
Officer: My pleasure, Mrs. Brady.
Belle: Okay. Okay. Hi, Mom.
Marlena: Hi, you two. How was it with Hope?
Belle: Actually, could have been worse.
Marlena: So, she didn't fight you?
Belle: No, she actually said she felt badly for me. So, how did your meeting with your friend go?
Marlena: Turns out he wasn't a friend, but I think I made my point.
Belle: Your point?
Marlena: How about if we have some tea? I'll be glad to make it.
Belle: No, we'll go make it. You relax. We'll go make it, won't we? Yeah? Let's go make some tea. Come on. Yay! I'll race you.
Lucas: What do you want me to do, stand up in front of a judge and tell him the woman I love drove me nuts?
Philip: No, you want Sami to do it.
Roman: You want to believe that John is still here.
Marlena: What if he's alive?
Stefano: Once you start this assignment, there is no turning back.
