Belle: Those twins are absolutely adorable.
Lucas: Pretty cute -- not bad.
Belle: Beyond cute. I thought Claire was a handful. I don't know how you're managing two.
Lucas: Well, I just put myself on their schedule. I just eat when they eat and nap when they nap.
Belle: It's still got to be overwhelming.
Lucas: Yeah. Well, I have help, you know. Sami helps when she's here.
Belle: Is she gonna be home soon?
Lucas: Yeah, she should be.
Belle: Good. Do you mind if I hang out for a while? I was on my way to Bo and Hope's house to pick up my cellphone, but they won't answer the phone, so...
Lucas: No, go ahead and hang out. Give you a chance to see the kids when they're awake.
Belle: Aw. It's kind of unnerving not having my cellphone. I feel like I'm missing all my messages.
Lucas: Yeah, I know what you mean.
Belle: Aw. Cute.
Lucas: I don't know how cute it is. It was a gift from E.J.
Belle: Yeah. Life never works out the way you think it will. You have all these hopes and dreams and you just try to fit it all together until something comes along to mess it up.
Lucas: Well, I can deal with it. How about you? Are you all right? It's the day after your wedding. Shouldn't you be with Shawn right now, or is the honeymoon over already?
Shawn D.: You break it, you buy it.
Philip: Easy, tiger. I'm not here for a rematch.
Shawn D.: In that case, Belle's not here.
Philip: I'm surprised you are. Weddings are usually followed by a honeymoon.
Shawn D.: Just couldn't find time to get away.
Philip: Prior commitments? I hear ya. Well, at least she made it to the ceremony.
Shawn D.: Didn't have any doubt.
Philip: Oh, see, I thought Belle would back out.
Shawn D.: Well, she didnít. And now she's my wife.
Philip: Congratulations. You won.
Shawn D.: Yeah, guess I did.
Philip: Whatever. As an officer and a gentleman, I'm backing off. Put it there, pal.
Hope: Marlena, I know you were at Sami and Junior's wedding. What I don't know is if you put a bullet in his spine.
Marlena: Bo, I was not at the wedding.
Bo: You were wearing black. Were you the one who shot him?
Marlena: I was babysitting Claire during the wedding.
Bo: And she can confirm that?
Marlena: [Chuckles] Why don't you call Roman? He and I spoke on the phone while I was there.
Bo: I'll bring up those phone records.
Marlena: I'm not sure your brother would appreciate you accusing me of attempted murder.
Hope: Ah, may I just interrupt for just one moment? Could I have a word with you? Would you excuse us for just a moment? We'll be right back. What are you doing?
Bo: My job.
Hope: Accusing Marlena of shooting E.J.
Bo: I have a witness who says there was a woman dressed in black wearing a veil at the church. I'm betting it was her.
Hope: So what if she was? So what?
Bo: The mother of the bride showing up at the wedding in black?
Hope: Maybe she was trying to make a statement, just like Sami was.
Bo: Then she shouldn't mind answering a few questions.
Hope: Here in our living room? She's one of our closest friends.
Bo: Better here than the station.
Hope: [Sighs] You could be wrong about this, you know.
Bo: I'm hoping I'm wrong.
Hope: I'm hoping you are, too.
Bo: Here's the thing -- I have a witness who said there was a woman dressed in mourning at the church.
Marlena: And you assume that was me because I'm in mourning for my husband.
Bo: Was it?
Marlena: No. So, you may now cross me off your list. Things to do -- sorry.
E.J.: Samantha, it's time, okay, for my father to meet our son. He wants to be a part of his grandchild's life, so I'd like you to take the baby to meet him sooner rather than later please.
Sami: No. Absolutely not. E.J., do you need me to call the nurse? Are you becoming delusional here?
E.J.: I'm being delusional because I want my father to meet his grandson?
Sami: Look, that is not at the top of my to-do list. Right now, I am pretty busy dealing with my newborns and running relays between them and my new husband and now in my spare time have to deal with the fact that my ex-husband is fighting for custody.
E.J.: Lucas is fighting for custody? He can't do that. He has no right.
Sami: For Allie.
E.J.: He wants to take her away from you? Look, that's ridiculous.
Sami: On top of everything else, when we were in that church exchanging our vows, someone tried to kill us. So you know what? If Stefano wants an audience with my son, he can get in line.
Lucas: Here you are. Wet your whistle.
Belle: [Laughs] Thank you. No, Shawn and I are fine. We're just -- we're not attached at the hip, you know?
Lucas: You were just married. You should be on a honeymoon or something.
Belle: We can't afFord it. But it's only postponed. It's not canceled.
Lucas: You should go to Aruba. I hear that's nice this time of year.
Belle: Yeah, maybe for spring break. Right now, it just feels really good to be home.
Lucas: You're very lucky. I mean it.
Belle: Things worse than I thought? Never mind. I shouldn't have asked. Sorry.
Lucas: No, it's fine. It's no secret. Everybody knows. She divorced me to marry E.J. The whole thing just stinks, Belle.
Belle: Sami's here as much as she can be, right?
Lucas: Yeah, I guess, but... I feel like a pit stop between the babies and E.J., you know? I mean, I'm here most of the time anyway. Let me ask you something. How would you feel if Shawn was running between you and another woman? Or better yet, how would Shawn feel if he found out that you were...seeing another man?
Philip: Shawn, I'm here with nothing but best wishes for you and Belle. I mean, come on, buddy. We've been friends a lot of years. Good friends.
Shawn D.: Well, those times are gone.
Philip: Swim team. We had that meet in Landview. Whipped their butts.
Shawn D.: That was fun. But that's the past and I prefer the present with Belle and Claire.
Philip: No going back?
Shawn D.: There's no point in going back, Philip. I'm moving on. You should give it a try.
Belle: I don't know what I'd do in your situation, Lucas. I'm sure it's really hard.
Lucas: Well, I do have a lot of...good things going. I get a lot of quality time with the twins. It's weird, you know. You get to see their personalities take shape. Allie -- she's kind of quiet, but sometimes she gets this mischievous look in her eye. It's scary. And Johnny, he's just so strong and kicking all the time and punching.
Belle: It sounds like you're really bonding with them.
Lucas: I am. I am. Johnny's just so innocent, and...you know, that's Allie's brother. I just want them to be together.
Belle: So what's gonna happen when Sami moves in with E.J.?
Lucas: I don't know. Um...I mean, I know that she wants them to be together. You know, she wants them to be raised as brother and sister.
Belle: But that's what you want, too, right?
Lucas: I'm just afraid that Allie's gonna end up the poor relation.
Belle: Oh, come on. Sami would never let that happen.
Lucas: She might not have a choice if it's up to the DiMeras.
Belle: Sami is a hell-raiser when it comes to her kids. Now, I know that this is hard on you, but it's hard on her, too. She's sacrificing everything.
Lucas: I don't know about that. I really donít. I think she's falling in love with him. She's falling in love with E.J.
Sami: I am sorry, E.J., but I am not gonna let Grandpa DiMera sink his fangs into my son.
E.J.: Family means everything to my father, Samantha.
Sami: Oh, really? 'Cause he has a really sick way of showing it.
E.J.: He's a man who's driven by passion. And sometimes that passion has...taken him down the wrong path, but you have to know that I would never put our son in any danger.
Sami: Look, I know that I'm going to have to introduce Stefano into my son's life at some point, but now is not that time, E.J.
E.J.: Why not?
Sami: Because I am trying to keep myself from having a complete nervous breakdown.
E.J.: Look, I know that you're dealing with a lot right now. I do, okay? And I'm sorry that I'm so useless.
Sami: Look, you can help me by getting better, by fighting to -- to get better and get healthy. Your father is gonna have to wait, all right? I know [Sighs] It's going to happen, but I want my son to learn to read and write before he learns to cast the evil eye.
E.J.: I'm sorry, but that's not acceptable.
Bo: Just a few questions and then you can go.
Hope: Please, come on.
Marlena: No. Really. It's all right. Today...was the first day since my husband died that I've been able to get myself out of bed. My family needed me, so I -- so I did that. I got myself up and out of bed because -- because that's what I needed to do. It's been a very difficult day for me. I came here looking for some comfort -- comfort from some dear family friends. And when I get here...I find that I'm being interrogated for attempted murder.
Hope: Why don't we do this at another time?
Bo: It's because we're friends that I need to pursue this.
Marlena: Whoever said that I went to the wedding was wrong. I did not go to the wedding.
Bo: Do you have a black dress?
Marlena: In fact I do, Bo. You've seen me wear it... at my husband's funeral.
Bo: And I know John has a good collection of guns.
Marlena: Do you think as long as you've known me that I would really seriously try to kill E.J.?
Bo: I need for you to prove to me that you didnít.
Marlena: Then I need you to show me a search warrant. Until then, I assume I'm free to go. Don't worry. I won't skip town.
Hope: Well, that went really well I think.
Hope: You don't really suspect Marlena.
Bo: She's got motive -- avenging John's death, protecting Sami.
Hope: There are plenty of other people who have motive.
Bo: Yeah, well, she wasn't very cooperative.
Hope: You were pushing very hard.
Bo: Yeah, and she got defensive. That's not a Marlena I've seen before.
Hope: Are you serious? What do you expect? Her life has been devastated by John's death.
Bo: Yeah, which explains why she was at the church in black.
Hope: Maybe trying to make a statement, like I said.
Bo: Which is not a criminal offense, so why lie about it?
Hope: What are you trying to do?
Bo: I was pushing her, right. What I was trying to accomplish is get her worked up enough so she goes home and disposes of the evidence.
Hope: Uh-huh. And then you'll be there to catch her in the act.
Bo: That's my plan.
Marlena: Oh, John. My love. I need you so.
Belle: No way does Sami love E.J., not after everything he's done to her.
Lucas: Yeah, I don't want to believe it, either.
Belle: Then donít. Why torture yourself over nothing?
Lucas: 'Cause obviously she cares about him.
Belle: Well, that's a far cry from being in love.
Lucas: She had a thing for him in the past, Belle.
Belle: That was before you two got back together. Lucas, she's always loved you.
Lucas: There's something going on between them, something private, some kind of secret or something.
Belle: She married him to protect her family. She despises him.
Lucas: Yeah, supposedly, right?
Belle: You don't believe that?
Lucas: Her family begged her not to go through with the wedding, but she did anyway. And now the man's in the hospital. He's paralyzed from the waist down, and she won't leave his side. She's acting like his wife.
Belle: Look, I know in her heart she still belongs to you. Don't give up on that.
Lucas: I have no plans to. I love her with all my heart and I always will. But I'm worried right now. I'm worried about the babies, you know? She needs to be there for the babies, not E.J.
Belle: Look, she's not spending all her time with E.J.
Lucas: Pretty much she is. Why don't you hang around? See how much quality time she spends with those kids in there.
Belle: Well, what can you do?
Lucas: I can protect them from the DiMeras. That's what I can do. All the DiMeras... Sami included.
E.J.: Family's a funny thing. [Laughs] You know, we would be at each other's throats half the time if we didn't make a few concessions to keep the peace.
Sami: E.J., I have made every concession I am willing to make, especially where your father is concerned.
E.J.: But, Samantha, my father is not a patient man, okay? Now, he's bided his time. He's waiting for an invitation to see his grandson, you know, out of deference for you, out of respect.
Sami: Listen to me, I am his mother. And I am not handing him over. If Stefano doesn't like my terms, that's tough, and that goes for you, too.
E.J.: Samantha, wait. Wait. Ow. Ow.
Belle: Of course you want to protect Allie from the DiMeras, but you don't need to protect her from her mother.
Lucas: I don't know, Belle. All bets are off now that Sami's married to E.J. I mean, I can get a custody agreement for my daughter, but I can't get a court order to make Sami stay faithful to me.
Belle: Lucas, she loves you.
Lucas: And Shawn loves you. Does that make him superhuman? Does that put him beyond the reach of temptation?
Belle: In my book, yeah. I don't think there's anything that would make Shawn cheat on me. It's just not who he is.
Lucas: Yeah, well, we both know who Sami is Ė the one who keeps secrets.
Belle: We all have secrets.
Lucas: Big enough to destroy a family?
Belle: Maybe Sami's just feeling a bit lost, like Shawn will be there for her no matter what.
Lucas: Shawn? You just said "Shawn" instead of me.
Belle: Oh. [Laughs] I was just thinking about him. Sorry. Um, you know what? I'm gonna go ahead and go and get my cellphone from Hope.
Lucas: All right. Hope my bad mood didn't rub off on you.
Belle: No, of course not. Just will you do me a favor and tell Sami that I came by? Oh, and do you know if she heard from Brady yet?
Lucas: No. I don't have any idea. Why?
Belle: Well, I tried to call him on Thanksgiving, and I left a bunch of messages, and he never got back to me.
Lucas: He and Chloe might be together on vacation or something.
Belle: Yeah, maybe. It just seemed weird, though.
Lucas: Any last-minute advice for a lonely bachelor?
Belle: [Laughs] Um, I would just remember that this is as hard on her as it is on you, okay? Hang in there. Bye.
[Knock on door]
Hope: Who's that?
Bo: It's Roman. Hey, man.
Bo: What's up?
Roman: Well, I got something on the DiMera shooting.
Bo: Oh, yeah?
Roman: I've had my team searching a two-mile radius around the church.
Bo: Yeah, anything?
Roman: Well, we found a cabin. Actually, it's more like a shack. Swat team's already up there.
Hope: I'll take care of that errand. Don't worry about it. I'll pick up everything.
Bo: Okay, great.
Hope: I love you, and, um, be careful.
Roman: All right, bye.
Sami: E.J., are you okay?
E.J.: Yeah, I just keep forgetting I'm not exactly Hercules anymore, you know?
Sami: Do you want me to go ask someone to get you something for the pain?
E.J.: No, no, no, it's okay. The pain I can deal with. I'm just fed up being stuck in this bloody bed. I just wish I could walk out of here.
Sami: It'll happen.
E.J.: Yeah. [Chuckles] Yeah. Thank you. You know? You being here means the world to me. You know that? I can't wait till I get home, be with you and Johnny.
Sami: So, you're gonna talk to Stefano? E.J., listen to me -- we are gonna be walking through a minefield here. If we don't lay down the law now, Stefano is gonna explode every time he doesn't get what he wants. We have to make sure he knows that we are in charge. Johnny is our son, and you and I decide what is best for him.
E.J.: Samantha, you don't understand.
Sami: I understand plenty. I understand that Stefano uses love as a weapon against his own family.
E.J.: Samantha, you divorced Lucas and you marry me out of fear of what my father might do, and now you're suddenly willing to cross him again?
Sami: You still have a spine, don't you? Use it.
Stefano: Good evening. I thought we'd have a little talk...Della Famiglia, a little family thing.
Hope: Can I give you a hand with that trash?
Marlena: Looky here. Bo put a tail on me.
Hope: He had a hunch. You'd come back here and try to get rid of the evidence.
Marlena: Where is he? Outside with the posse? Should I go out with my hands in the air?
Hope: Marlena, I know this feels like an ambush. No one else knows except you, me, and Bo.
Hope: You need to understand that we want to help.
Marlena: That didn't sound like his intentions to me.
Hope: The last thing Bo wants to do is to take you in.
Marlena: Tell him...I'm sorry I didn't trust him. And I'm not sorry for what I did.
Hope: Black dress? Why don't we make some tea and you can start from the beginning?
Belle: [Clears throat]
Stefano: Samantha, well, well, well, you look absolutely radiant. Doesn't she, Elvis?
Stefano: Motherhood agrees with you.
Sami: Yeah, well, I would like to get back to it.
Stefano: Well, first, I want to thank you for taking care of Elvis so well and my grandson. Oh, do you have any new pictures perhaps?
Sami: No, not with me.
Stefano: I have an idea. Why don't you bring Giovanni over to the house? I'll hire a photographer. No, better yet, we'll have a little party. I'll take care of everything.
Sami: That's exactly what I'm afraid of.
E.J.: Look, Father, Samantha has a lot on her plate right now. She's doing a lot of running backwards and forwards. She needs to rest, okay? She'll bring the baby over to you later.
Stefano: So, haven't you talked to Samantha regarding the way we think a DiMera child has to be raised, hmm? I mean, especially a male child.
Sami: No, actually. I don't need to hear anything from you about how my child is going to be raised.
E.J.: Okay, can we just put all these discussions on hold, please, until I'm out of here?
Stefano: I want my grandson to grow up according to our traditions. You see, a male DiMera child has to bond with the men in our family because they are the ones who are going to guide and shape his future.
Sami: You are out of your mind. There is no way on God's green earth that I will allow you to have anything to do with shaping my son. Do you understand me?
Stefano: Whoa, whoa. Where did my son go? He's not here. Can't be here, because I'm sure if he was here, he would never allow his wife to show such disrespect for the family and its name.
E.J.: Samantha, you're not the only one who has a say in how our child is raised. Look, there's a great tradition and culture, you know, and honor in the DiMera name, and these are values that my father and I want our son to grow up with.
Stefano: Ah, see. There's my son. He came back, finally.
E.J.: And I'm sorry, Father, but I'm agreeing with my wife. Now is not the right time.
Stefano: I am very, very disappointed, but if that's your decision and Samantha's, so be it.
Sami: Thank you, E.J. Thank you so much. Look, I understand that Johnny is going to have to meet his grandfather at some point, but I'm just not ready for that yet. Look, you don't think Stefano's gonna try anything underhanded, do you?
E.J.: No, he wonít.
Sami: Well, I'm glad you're sure. I better get back to the twins.
E.J.: Would you do something for me? Would you give Johnny a kiss for me? Kiss both of the twins. Give Allie a kiss, too, okay? And don't worry about my father. He's not going to cause any trouble, believe me, okay? He's hurt, but he's also grateful to have lived long enough to be able to see a new generation come through.
Sami: Remember that my family comes from good, strong stock, too. We have our culture. We have our traditions. And all that talk about handing my son over to the DiMera men to raise -- not in this lifetime.
Marlena: There was a book that John loved. "Stranger in a Strange Land." That's exactly how I feel. The past is so far out of reach. The future is unimaginable. I feel like I'm just being pulled along by the tide... while my daughters marry men that are completely unworthy of them. Sami marrying that monster. And Belle may lose the most important relationship in her life because of Philip. I don't know what happened.
Hope: I know this is hard for you.
Marlena: Well, life goes on, no matter how hard you try to stop it.
Hope: Is that what you did? Did you try to stop it?
Philip: This is for you.
Belle: Thank you. [Clears throat]
Philip: I left you a message yesterday. You didn't return my call.
Belle: I left my cellphone at Bo and Hope's after the wedding. I went by to pick it up and they weren't there.
Philip: Don't you want to know what I said?
Belle: No. Don't call me again.
Philip: Where's your new husband?
Belle: Says here that he went with his dad to shadow a case. Looks like another opportunity for him to join the academy.
Philip: You all for that now?
Belle: Mm-hmm, 100%. It means everything to him. And he means everything to me.
Philip: Since you're the one who almost sabotaged his chances with the academy, how would you like to make it up to him?
Philip: Leave it all to me.
Belle: Give me one good reason why I should trust you.
Philip: Something has come into my possession...a piece of evidence that could blow the E.J. DiMera case wide open.
Belle: What evidence? Why haven't you turned it in to the police?
Philip: There's no percentage in helping the cops. But I could use this to make Shawn look like supercop. Deliver the evidence and -- bam -- Shawn's in the academy.
Belle: So you make Shawn look like a hero. What's in it for you?
Philip: An evening alone with you.
Roman: All right, I think this is about a mile and a half from the church probably.
Bo: So somebody in good shape could make it up here in, what, 8, 10 minutes?
Roman: Yeah, well, whoever it was, nobody's in there now, so obviously they already took off.
Officer: If you ever mess up my crime scene again, I won't just be yelling at you.
Bo: Someone's getting their you know what handed to them.
Shawn D.: I'm sorry, detective. It won't happen again.
Officer: And it better not.
Marlena: Then there's Sami -- stubborn, bullheaded. She would get some crazy idea in her head and not be able to shake it loose. And the best intentions always led to the worst disasters. But she married the man that shot John.
Hope: She truly believed that she was protecting us. She still does, Marlena.
Marlena: She isnít. I was so angry at her. I could barely grieve for John.
Hope: I didn't even know that you knew when the wedding was happening.
Marlena: Well...Roman tried to keep it from me, of course, but I guess you could never keep a mother from knowing the day that her daughter signs a pact with the devil. So...I took Claire to a neighbor, one I knew that I could trust. I put on the black dress. I loaded John's gun. I went to the church, and I waited.
Hope: What were you thinking?
Marlena: [Laughs] Oh, my gosh. Well, I was thinking that she wouldn't marry him and we'd all be fine. I thought maybe she would leave him at the altar.
Hope: We all hoped she'd come to her senses.
Marlena: She didn't, did she?
Marlena: So I shot him. I wasn't even sure that I could. My hand was shaking so badly I could barely aim the gun. And then there was a -- a shot from somewhere else in the church. It startled me so badly I pulled the trigger. And -- and then there was a third shot.
Hope: After you fired?
Marlena: I don't know. I don't remember. I don't know, but I heard somebody running. I don't know who it was.
Hope: Well, given what you just told me, you can't possibly know if it was your shot that hit E.J., can you?
Marlena: Doesn't matter. I pulled the trigger. I meant to shoot him. And for what? So Sami could marry him. And now we all have to pay for it.
Sami: Am I that late?
Lucas: You missed two feedings. The milk you left is all gone.
Sami: I'm sorry.
Lucas: Maybe we should just switch them over to formula if you're gonna be late like this.
Sami: No, no. Look, something just held me up. It wasn't that big a deal. It's not gonna happen again. Is everything else okay?
Lucas: Belle stopped by. She'll call you later. I'm gonna go grab a few Zís.
Sami: Um, Lucas, wait. Could I ask you something?
Sami: Do you still love me?
Marlena: I wanted to help Sami. I wanted to do something courageous to avenge John's death. I ruined it all, didn't I? I'd like to ask for a little time. Time to hold the twins. Hold my girls. And -- and of course put my affairs in order.
Hope: I need for you to slow down because we don't even know if the bullet you fired is the one that hit E.J.
Marlena: I shot the gun. I wanted him as dead as my husband.
Hope: You know that Bo and I and Roman and Abe are gonna do everything we possibly can to keep you out of prison.
Marlena: I shot a man. I meant to kill him. I may have paralyzed him. I just don't know what any of you can possibly do at this point.
Officer: Sorry for going off on your boy, but he treated the crime scene like he owns the place. Smashed the only clean footprint we had.
Roman: All right, all right, Dom, just take it easy, okay? We all make mistakes. Besides, I don't think that footprint was gonna make our case a slam dunk.
Officer: Not now anyway.
Shawn D.: My dad told me to get up here. I didn't know that --
Officer: What you don't know, you ask. Bo, tell this boy the rules of a crime scene.
Belle: Me being alone with you? You've got to be kidding me.
Philip: Get your mind out of the gutter.
Belle: Shawn doesn't need your help, so you can take your evidence and your proposal and your watch and shove them all.
Philip: Watch? What watch?
Belle: Oh, please. If you wanted me to remember you on my wedding day, dead roses would have been a better choice.
Philip: Come here.
Belle: Let go of me.
Philip: Look, one night is all you need for me to prove that we're not done. Afterwards if you don't agree, I'll be out of your life.
Belle: You're using this evidence to coerce me into bed with you. You don't give a damn about boosting Shawn's career.
Philip: The last thing I'd ever do is force you to do something you don't want to do. I just want to be with you... to talk...share things. I miss you being a part of my life. Don't you miss me being a part of yours?
Belle: I'm married to Shawn now.
Philip: This will be huge for his career.
Belle: And all I have to do is spend time with you -- no strings.
Philip: No strings.
Belle: No. No, I can't do that.
Philip: You have my number. Call me if you change your mind.
Lucas: Do I still love you? How can you even ask me that? You know, I'm not the one who wanted our marriage annulled. I'm not the one who wanted to go to the Dominican for a quickie divorce after delivering twins. That wasn't me, and I'm not the one running around going back and forth right now.
Sami: I am not running out on this marriage. You know the deal.
Lucas: Yeah, I know the deal, and I hate the deal. We need you here. Your children need you here and you're with E.J. all the time at his beck and call.
Sami: Okay, he's getting better.
Lucas: What does that mean for us? When we got married, we didn't have a prenup.
Sami: Of course not. Lucas, what's mine is yours and yours is mine.
Lucas: And then E.J. shows up. He enters the picture, and the whole game changes, doesn't it? He divides us. He divides our children. I don't get to see you anymore. And it kills me. I miss you. I miss everything about you. I miss holding you. I miss kissing you.
Sami: Oh, Lucas. I'm sorry. I'm sorry, and I promise you I will spend more time with the man that I love. [Babies crying] My babies need me.
Lucas: We all do.
Stefano: [Sighs] You let me down, my son. I expect women to be emotional and difficult, but I expect more from you. [Sighs] Samantha giving orders. Basta! Enough already. You are the son's father, all right? So demand what is due you as a husband and a father. Be a man.
E.J.: Look, Samantha's riding on a bit of hormones and hysteria. She's like a mother lion protecting her cubs, okay? Just leave her be. She'll come 'round in time. I'm not gonna put any pressure on her...yet.
Stefano: Well, I hope so, soon, because if you cannot handle this woman, I will. My way.
