Lexie: My hands are shaking, Mom. I really couldn't have done this without you.
Celeste: Don't be nervous, darling.
Lexie: How do I look?
Celeste: Well, now, see for yourself.
Lexie: I look like I've aged 10 years.
Celeste: Oh, darling, no way. You are beautiful.
Lexie: [Sniffles] No. I look like a woman trying to look beautiful. This was a mistake.
Celeste: Darling, look. When Abraham arrives, just speak from your heart, Alexandra. He'll not be able to resist you. [Knock on door] Hmm?
Lexie: Hi. Are you Dr. Berger?
Dr. Berger: Yes, I am.
Lexie: So, where's Abe? Where's my husband?
Dr. Berger: I'm afraid I have some bad news.
Marlena: Oh, my.
Anna: Hey, why -- why all the looks? What did I say?
John: What you said was that you would go to the DiMera mansion for a price.
Roman: If you're looking for money, you're playing for the wrong team.
John: We're investigating a crime family, Anna.
Anna: Well, I'm not noble. I never have been. So you can save your little "taking one for the team" speech for somebody who really cares about the greater good.
Hope: We need the letter Santo sent to Colleen Brady.
Anna: Yeah, good luck with that.
Marlena: Anna, without them, we can't sort out the mystery.
Anna: And I've agreed to help.
Marlena: If there's something in it for you.
Anna: Thank you. Finally, somebody who understands.
Sami: Never mind. Mom, I'll do it. I'll get the letters.
Lucas: No, you won't.
Sami: Are you speaking for me now?
Lucas: Yeah, and our kids and our family.
Sami: Lucas, look, I can get to E.J.
John: That's the problem.
Roman: Sami, no. You're out of this. It's Anna's game. She's the insider.
Anna: Oh, games are supposed to be fun.
Hope: What if you had backup?
Bo: Whoa, stop right there, Fancy Face.
Hope: Are you speaking for me now?
Bo: What is this?
Anna: Backup with lots of calibers?
Bo: No, you're not going in.
Anna: Oh, Bo, she's gonna be safe. Believe me, distracting men is my life's work. And then again...
Roman: You know what, Anna? We'll talk about your reward later. Fair enough?
Anna: Well, that could get very interesting.
Hope: Okay. It's settled. Anna keeps Tony and company busy while I find the letters.
E.J.: My grandfather and I are practically twins. You never mentioned this to me before.
Stefano: I waited until everything finally fell into place. Now you and Samantha can assure that my father and Colleen will finally rest in peace.
E.J.: Tell me about Santo. Tell me about Colleen.
Stefano: In due time.
E.J.: Okay. Please make sure you tell me everything, Father.
Stefano: I shall.
E.J.: You know, time is not something that we have a great amount of. Tony grows impatient, Father. He already tried to kill me. He tried to kill Samantha.
Stefano: I will control Tony.
E.J.: He can't see past his hatred the way that you and I can.
Stefano: I accept responsibility for the man that he has become, all right? Now... Tony is the past. You are the future. Huh? He knows this.
E.J.: He does. He hates me with a passion for it, but he does.
Stefano: Come here. Let me tell you something. Elvis, making peace with the Bradys is a hollow victory if we keep fighting among ourselves. That's why I'm c-count -- [Coughing]
E.J.: Father, sit. Sit. Sit. Are you okay? Wait here. Bart! Bart!
Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of our Lives.
Celeste: What are you talking about, doctor? What bad news?
Dr. Berger: It's about the transplant. He's been complaining of severe headaches, and he's been running a very high fever. This may mean nothing at all, or it could mean that your husband's developing an infection, which can result in the rejection of the corneal transplant.
Lexie: God, Abe doesn't deserve this.
Dr. Berger: I'm sorry.
Celeste: When will you know more, doctor?
Dr. Berger: Unfortunately, not for several days, but you're welcome to see him if you'd like.
Lexie: No. No. No, thank you.
Lexie: I-I appreciate your stopping by, doctor.
Dr. Berger: No trouble at all. I'll keep you informed of any further developments.
Lexie: Okay. Thanks.
Celeste: Thank you, doctor. Why didn't you want to see him?
Lexie: It's a sign, Mom -- a sign that I'm supposed to leave Salem and never come back.
E.J.: Is he all right?
Stefano: It's nothing. It passed. I'm fine, Rolf.
Dr. Rolf: Your blood pressure is dangerously low.
Stefano: Take this damn thing off me, would you, please?
Dr. Rolf: You should be in bed.
Stefano: And you should be in a retirement home.
Dr. Rolf: E.J., would you please talk some sense into him?
E.J.: Yes. Of course. Father, we will continue this conversation tomorrow.
Stefano: All right. Maybe a little rest would not hurt.
Dr. Rolf: Here. Here.
Stefano: No, no. All right. Talk to your brother. We need a united front.
E.J.: I'll try again -- for you. Come here.
Stefano: All right.
Dr. Rolf: All right?
Stefano: Yes. Okay. Thank you.
Tony: Where's father?
E.J.: He's resting. Do you care to join me?
Tony: Why not? Thank you.
E.J.: He's growing tired, Tony.
Tony: And yet you refuse to save him.
E.J.: It's not true.
Tony: You know, you just don't have the backbone to do what's necessary, and yet he defends you.
E.J.: Stop questioning my loyalty to father.
Tony: I don't question it. It doesn't exist. You're blind to Samantha and your responsibilities.
E.J.: Don't you understand? This is exactly what father is wanting to end, Tony.
Tony: The only thing that's gonna end around here is his life.
E.J.: His life. Why can't we be brothers?
Tony: Perhaps Cain and Abel.
E.J.: It's his dying wish.
Tony: You're so noble. That's why you're the chosen one. And yet he's never once told me why. Oh, did I once disappoint him? Did I not follow through with an action, or was it just that... he decided one day he grew bored with my constant devotion?
E.J.: I don't know, Tony.
Tony: Oh, well. So, you're the anointed one and I'm going to be [Sighs] feeding off your scraps the rest of my life.
E.J.: It doesn't have to be that way. Come on. We can be equals. We can be brothers.
Tony: I don't think so. No. No, no. It's a wonderful fantasy. No, you see, the crowning achievement of my life will be the day when I watch you... die. [Chuckling]
Bo: No. Nothing has been agreed upon. No one has decided anything.
Lucas: Bo's right. Why risk it?
Marlena: Because we have to start someplace.
Sami: Dad, listen to me. I'm the one who looks like Colleen. I should go.
Lucas: Forget it, all right?
Marlena: Sami, he's speaking for all of us.
Lucas: Thank you, Marlena.
Sami: I'm the one who found that letter.
Lucas: We found the letter.
John: There isn't any reason to put yourself in danger again.
Anna: Is it possible to get a decent glass of wine in this place?
Roman: Yeah, I can get that.
Lucas: And I'll talk some sense into my wife.
Roman: Yeah. Good luck with that.
Sami: Why does everything in this family have to be so damn complicated?
Lucas: Can I talk to you for a second over here?
Sami: Yes, yes. You're not changing my mind, but let's talk.
Hope: I say we stick to the original plan.
Bo: There is no original plan.
Hope: Have a little trust in me.
Marlena: That way, we'd know what's going on.
Hope: Thank you, Marlena.
John: Are you saying that you're okay with Hope going in?
Marlena: No, I'm not. I'm okay with you not being there.
Hope: And she's right. You've already been through enough, John.
Bo: This is not a contest.
Roman: Everybody, relax.
Steve: [Whistles sharply] Roman's right. Everybody needs to relax. Now, there's only one person who could pull off an inside job like this, and you're looking at him.
Steve: [Chuckles] So, what? No high fives? No slap on the back? No "thanks, dude."
Bo: Steve, it's --
Steve: It's perfect. I know. That's why I volunteered.
Bo: No. You could still be susceptible to their power of suggestion.
Steve: No, not anymore. I've been deprogrammed. Ain't life grand? Come on, Bo. I can do this, and you know it.
Anna: Got to love a man with passion.
Roman: Steve, I think you've met --
Steve: The beautiful Anna?
Anna: Oh, I'm touched you remember.
Steve: I forgot a lot of things, baby, but a face like that gets permanently stored in my hard drive.
Anna: Well, along with your charm.
Steve: So, Bo -- well, I guess there's no easy way to do this, huh, John?
John: I suppose not.
Steve: I don't expect you to forgive me. I can't forgive myself.
John: The bottom line is they cut into both of us... but we're still standing, right?
Steve: Yeah. Looks that way. Thanks, man. It's -- it's a long road back, but I'm trying like hell.
Hope: We know you are.
Steve: And for me, going to that mansion -- that is my way of getting past what they did.
Roman: All right. Okay. You know what? The only thing we've decided --
John: Is that we've made no decision yet.
Hope: I've decided.
Steve: Am I in or out? Come on.
Marlena: Steve, the road back does not start at the mansion. It starts right here... with us telling you how much we appreciate your willingness to help us.
Steve: Well, it's good to be back. It's good to finally be home.
Lucas: Your whole family's practically in law enforcement. Let them take care of this guy.
Sami: I am in the middle of this.
Lucas: And I'm gonna get you out of it.
Lucas: I'm gonna make you take that amnio. Once it proves that I'm the father, E.J. will be out of the equation for good.
Sami: That won't end the vendetta.
Lucas: I don't care about the vendetta. I care about us.
Sami: I am doing this for us!
Lucas: You're gonna put an end to everything -- including our marriage.
Steve: What it looks like to me -- it looks like you got too many cooks. Everybody wants in.
Hope: It's not a boys' club.
Anna: And the only one everyone agrees on is me.
Bo: Steve, it's too risky, man.
John: Revenge is the worst reason to go in there.
Hope: It's too personal.
Steve: Yeah, it is personal. It's personal for everybody in this room.
Bo: Give yourself some more time.
Steve: All right. The Brady circle of trust isn't ready to let me back in. That's cool. I can deal. But nobody is closer to those freaks than I am. You think about that before you kick me to the curb.
Bo: The answer is no, Steve. You're not coming in on this.
Tony: You realize that you were dealt the lucky hand, genetically speaking. Hmm. Father has few secrets, if any, left that I don't know about.
E.J.: [Sighs] I saw that for the first time tonight, Tony.
Tony: You realize that this picture is your ticket to everything?
E.J.: He's not going to slight you.
Tony: He already has. He's growing soft, counting his days, pining his legacy.
E.J.: No. He wants his life to be remembered for more than just bloodshed.
Tony: Are you an idiot? Do you realize tomorrow if he got a clean bill of health, his blood thirst would come back with a vengeance?
E.J.: If you want to stay this way for the rest of your life, go ahead, okay? But unless you're an idiot, you'll realize that times are changing. Change with them.
Tony: So, tell me -- cutting out a man's kidney -- you call that changing? He's not as soft as you think he is. Cross him, and I'm sure he'll keep a room in the dungeon warm, just waiting for you.
E.J.: You're out of your mind.
Tony: He wouldn't even think twice about burying you alive, or even worse if you disobey him.
E.J.: Well, then I'll be careful not to, right?
Tony: Well, if you do, Junior, even the memory of his father's face will not save you.
Celeste: Don't be foolish. There are no signs. Come on. I of all people would know about that, yes?
Lexie: Well, you missed this one, Mom. It says, "leave, Lexie, and don't look back."
Celeste: Abraham needs you.
Lexie: Oh, please. The unfaithful wife who's let him down again and again and again? Why would anyone need that?
Lexie: You know what? This was a mistake.
Celeste: And what about your son, Alexandra? Are you gonna walk out on him, too?
Lexie: I'll call him. I'll -- I'll explain.
Celeste: Expl-- that boy doesn't need an explanation. He needs a mother, just as much as Abraham needs a wife. And if you walk out that door, I swear you're going to regret it for the rest of your life.
E.J.: You do know that your plan won't actually work?
Tony: Which plan is that? I have so many.
E.J.: It's the one where you turn father against me.
Tony: Oh, you can do that all on your own. You won't need my help. All I have to do is just sit and wait.
E.J.: Really? For what?
Tony: His death.
E.J.: Don't you dare talk about father that way.
Tony: Well, contrary to public opinion, he is mortal, and when the day comes, I'll be the sole DiMera heir.
E.J.: You can keep your legacy, because father and I -- we see a future that you cannot even imagine.
Tony: Oh, yes. Peace with the Bradys. Oh, how boring. I don't know what it is about those people, but they just don't interest me -- dead or alive.
E.J.: Really? Is that right? Then why do you wage war against them?
Tony: Because he asked me to do it. That's what I do -- his bidding. I don't back off, I don't get unfocused, and I will not take a backseat to a coward like you. But shall we put it all to the test, huh? Shall I fall in love with a woman and sacrifice her to Stefano -- her body parts, stem cells, whatever he needs?
E.J.: You're jealous of Samantha.
Tony: Oh, don't be stupid. She weakens you. That's why I'm so grateful to her.
Bart: News from the front, Tony.
Tony: Not now.
Bart: You'll want to hear this.
Tony: Get on with it.
Bart: The Bradys are holding some kind of reunion at the pub.
Tony: They're holding a gathering. So?
E.J.: All of them?
Tony: He's asking because he's interested in a particular pregnant blonde.
Bart: Well, there is a rather stunning blonde in the mix.
Tony: Well, E.J., you better hurry and see how Sami's doing.
Bart: Actually, boss, it's Anna.
Tony: Anna's here?
Bart: And in the enemy camp.
E.J.: [Clears throat] You were questioning my loyalty. Well, maybe this would be a good time to put it to the test, eh?
Lucas: Sami, I love you -- I do -- but what kind of marriage are we gonna have if you're dead?
Sami: Come on, Lucas. Please. Please just let me do this.
Lucas: No. I am not gonna let you go after the DiMeras. Forget about it. You're putting our kids at risk. After the amnio, I want you in a safe house.
Sami: Come on. Don't start with that again.
Lucas: Don't do this. Don't look at them. Look at me. I don't want to go through this. I don't want to pick up the phone or find a cop at my door and then they tell me you're at the hospital again or worse.
Sami: That's not gonna happen.
Lucas: It already happened. I went to check up on you, and you weren't there. You went to that warehouse with E.J. Stop this. If you want to be there, be there for us, Sami.
Steve: Well, silence says it all.
Hope: Steve, we love you.
Steve: Yeah, I know you love me, but you don't trust me.
Hope: It's just too soon.
Steve: Give me a test of some kind.
Bo: That's not what this is about.
Steve: I'm ready to give as good as I got from those sick bastards.
Roman: All right, Steve. I'll tell you what. If we need you, we know where to find you.
Steve: All right. Later.
Roman: All right.
Anna: Can we please settle who's going to come along for the ride?
Hope: I am. No more arguing, Brady.
Roman: All right. This will get you through to the mansion.
Anna: Oh, I love a guy with connections.
Anna: Guess who.
Anna: You know very well who.
Tony: To what do I owe this pleasure?
Anna: Well, I heard through the grapevine that you had been released, and I thought I'd swing by and see for myself.
Tony: So, what have you been up to, pet?
Anna: I found something that belongs to you.
Tony: Oh, my heart.
Anna: Oh, you're sweet. Letters, actually, written in Italian from a woman named Colleen Brady to Santo DiMera. Invite me over, and I'll deliver them in person.
Tony: Are you free tomorrow night?
Anna: Oh, I'll get free. Oh, and, darling, please make sure the usual ghouls and knee crackers aren't hanging around, would you, hmm?
Tony: Oh, I just want to be alone with the beautiful Anna DiMera.
Anna: [Chuckles] Well, you haven't lost your touch, Cara. Ciao.
E.J.: Expecting company?
Tony: It was my ex. But there's no number. Those clever Bradys. They probably blocked caller I.D.
E.J.: How very clever of them. What did she want?
Tony: What? Anna? Half the fun is finding out.
Lexie: When I was held captive in that tunnel, all I could think of was coming home, seeing my sweet, little boy, and getting on my hands and my knees, if that's what it took, to ask Abe to forgive me.
Celeste: But, Alexandra, I believe he already has.
Lexie: No. No. Maybe -- maybe he said the words, you know? "It's okay, Lexie. I forgive you." But the doubt was always there, Mom. I could see it in his eyes. You know, "can I trust Lexie? Can I really trust Lexie?" I hurt him so badly, Mom. I'm just -- [Sniffles] I'm just afraid that once he knows I'm back... that I'll hurt him again.
Celeste: Oh, darling. Oh, sweetheart. It'll be all right.
Lexie: Oh, goodness. Oh, you must think I'm a real coward, huh?
Celeste: No, darling, just human like all the rest of us.
Lexie: Oh, Mom. What you must have gone through.
Celeste: But, darling, I never gave up hope. That's why I allowed the DiMeras to use me -- so I could come one step closer to getting my baby back home. So now if there is, as you say, a sign in any of this, it's that we've all been given a second chance to show the people that we love just how much they mean to us. And, look, listen, my advice to you, Alexandra, is to do what I've done, darling. Just grab onto that chance. Hold onto it as tightly as you can and never, ever let it go. Hmm?
E.J.: Well, of course I hope I get to meet the lovely Anna. I've had the pleasure of listening to so much about her.
Tony: You know, your time would be best served considering a future with me in charge of this family.
Stefano: Oh ho! I did not realize that I was dead and buried.
Tony: Oh, Father, forgive me. I meant no disrespect.
Stefano: [Exhales deeply] Bart tells me that Anna is arriving tomorrow.
Tony: Yes, with the letters from Colleen Brady to Santo.
Stefano: How did they come into her possession?
Tony: I don't know.
Stefano: Well, make it your business to know.
E.J.: Father, tell me, what is in those letters?
Tony: That's none of your business.
E.J.: The family is my business, Tony.
Stefano: Your brother is right. Bart informs me that she is at the Brady Pub. Elvis, I want you to find out why, because she could be, you know, making plans against us.
E.J.: Done, Father. Done.
Stefano: Good. Thank you.
E.J.: Are you feeling better?
Stefano: Much. I'm glad you were here earlier.
E.J.: Okay. I won't be long.
Stefano: All right. Ciao.
Tony: You were ill?
Stefano: It was nothing. It passed.
Tony: Do you really think it's smart to send E.J. to the Bradys?
Stefano: Why? Do you doubt my judgment?
Tony: Of course not.
Stefano: Well, your brother will either prove himself worthy of a place in our family, or he will disappoint me.
Tony: And if he does?
Stefano: Aha! And if he does, well, then... it will be his loss, won't it?
Lexie: Okay. Well, thanks for saving me from making yet another terrible mistake.
Celeste: You are my daughter. Hey, that's what mothers are supposed to do. [Knock on door]
Lexie: Oh. Doctor. Any news? How's my husband?
Dr. Berger: He's resting comfortably, and his fever's gone down. Not out of the woods yet, though, but it is a good sign that he's not rejecting the transplant.
Lexie: Oh, thank God.
Dr. Berger: Just thought you'd like to know.
Lexie: Doctor, I changed my mind. I want to see my husband.
Anna: I told you. Tony still sits very nicely right here.
Hope: We have to nail this thing down.
Bo: No, no, no.
Hope: Brady, if I get into any trouble, I will be so inside your head, you'll be charging that mausoleum before anything should happen.
Lucas: I'm gonna get a club soda.
Sami: We are not finished talking.
Lucas: I don't have anything more to say to you.
Sami: Well, I have a lot more to say. [Talking over each other]
E.J.: Hello, hello.
Hope: What's he doing here?
E.J.: Well, I -- it looks like I'm interrupting some kind of family party.
Bo: When has that ever stopped you?
E.J.: Here's a new face.
Roman: Well, not so new. Anna DiMera, E.J. Wells.
E.J.: Anna. You're Tony's Anna, right?
Anna: Mm-hmm. In the flesh.
E.J.: Wow. For once, my brother is not lying. You are just as beautiful as he told me.
Anna: It's "Elvis," right?
E.J.: Yes. My friends call me E.J.
Sami: What friends?
E.J.: Hello, darling. Actually, I didn't come here to cause any trouble. I came to warn you. You've been spotted.
John: So, why are you telling us?
E.J.: Well, for once... my loyalties are evenly split between the DiMeras and the Bradys.
Lexie: So, I can see my husband? You said it would be all right.
Dr. Berger: Of course, though I have to warn you. We've sedated him. Abe won't know you're there.
Lexie: That's all right. I don't want him to know -- not until the bandages are removed. My husband will see again, doctor, and I want to be the first person he sees when those bandages are removed.
Dr. Berger: Of course. I'll tell the nurses to keep it quiet.
Celeste: Thank you.
Celeste: I'm so proud of you, Alexandra.
Lexie: Why? I haven't done anything.
Celeste: Really? Let me see. You come from a family who's evil incarnate, yet you are loving, you are kind, and you have such a beautiful heart. You were imprisoned by that same family for the crime of telling the truth, but you survived. Honey, you have the love of a good man, and you are the mother of a fine son. You're not perfect. None of us are. But you are a woman to be proud of... and I think you deserve a reward.
Lexie: What? A reward? What?
Lexie: Oh, sweetheart! Oh, sweetheart. Oh, my sweetheart.
Tony: I'm pleased that you finally realize how truly weak E.J. is.
Stefano: Well, Tony, he certainly is not the first young man to be distracted by a beautiful woman.
Tony: He doesn't even know if Samantha's carrying his child.
Stefano: Well, what would you do?
Tony: I would have held her, force the damn test, and then be over and done with it. You would have had the stem cells by now.
Stefano: Hmm. Well, I'm sure that he will come to it in his own time.
Tony: And what if he chooses Samantha over you?
Stefano: Ah. Then he will learn what I can hold dear I can also hold in contempt.
Bart: Excuse me, uh, bosses. Someone's here to see you.
Stefano: We're not expecting visitors.
Bart: Tony, he says it's important.
Tony: Get rid of whoever it is.
Steve: You boys tried that already, remember? Look at us. Just like old times, huh? [Imitates electricity buzzing] [Laughs] Except for that. Hey, Tony, you gonna pour me one of those brandys, or do I have to make myself at home?
E.J.: Now, my father wants to know why Anna is here. I'm prepared to cover for you. I'll tell Tony and my father that you're here for, uh, innocent reasons.
Marlena: What innocent reasons?
Anna: Uh, well, to visit old friends, and, uh, I'm sure once Tony sees me, he'll be so hot to get his hands on those letters and, well, me. A little play, huh?
Bo: Come on, Junior. You can do better than that.
E.J.: How so?
Bo: Be a DiMera. Get rid of Tony. Bury him in a tunnel. I don't care how you people do what it is you do, but get rid of him for as long as it takes.
E.J.: For what exactly?
Bo: So we can reason with your father and end this war between our families.
Sami: He's right. E.J., it's time for you to put up or shut up.
Lexie: Oh, sweetheart. Oh, Mommy missed you so much.
Celeste: I had the sitter bring him over. And I told Theodore if he prayed, Mommy would come back.
Lexie: That's right. I went away, but I'm back, and I am never going away again, okay? That's a promise.
Theo: I love you, Mommy.
Lexie: Oh, sweetheart. Oh, I love you, too. I love you so much. Oh, I love you and your daddy so much.
E.J.: I'll call my father. I'll tell him that you're here to reconnect with family, friends.
Marlena: And what if he doesn't believe you?
E.J.: I'm the only person he will believe.
Lucas: I'm gonna head home.
Lucas: I'm gonna pack. That's why.
Sami: Oh, come on, Lucas. Please. Please. Hey, uh, Dad... we have to get out of here.
Roman: Everything all right?
Sami: Yeah. Everything's fine, but we're gonna go to the hospital and make an appointment for the amnio. And then after that... I want you to put me in a safe house so that Stefano and Tony can't hurt me.
Lucas: Thank you.
Sami: Lucas, I don't want to lose you.
Lucas: Good. Now you know how I feel.
Steve: Well... I guess I'm helping myself.
Tony: You know, you have the manners of an ape.
Steve: Really? Well, maybe you should have worked on that when you had your people tinkering with my gray matter. Relax, boss. I come with tidings of great joy.
Tony: You couldn't even get the job done with us pulling the strings.
Steve: Well, 'cause I had people pulling the other way, Tone, especially the wife. She likes things her way.
Tony: And which way is that?
Steve: You know, loyal husband, loyal father -- a Brady clone.
Stefano: Tony, do me a favor. Take out the garbage. It's starting to offend me.
Steve: Ha ha! The big man speaks. Now, listen here. I think the game is far from over. The night is still young. I know I didn't deliver on certain things, but you're here. If it wasn't for me, you wouldn't have that nice, certified, pre-owned kidney.
Tony: Would you get on with it?
Steve: Okay. You see, Kayla -- she thinks I'm my old self, but I'm not. So I'm missing the action. I check in at the Brady Pub, and guess what I find -- your ex planning a little recon mission.
Tony: Doing what?
Steve: Well, maybe she'll be delivering some old letters or something. Yeah. But the Bradys are putting somebody here on the inside to find the ones that your granddaddy wrote to a chick named Colleen, Colleen -- something like that. Is any of this ringing a bell?
Stefano: You did pretty good, Steve. I tell you what. Why don't you take your brandy out into the garden because it's a beautiful evening? Before you go, help yourself to a cigar, and I will join you soon.
Steve: Wow. [Inhales deeply] Contraband.
Steve: I'll see you out there, big "D."
Tony: So, Anna has fallen in with the Bradys?
Stefano: It's not shocking, is it? [Telephone rings] Yes?
E.J.: Father, it's Elvis.
Stefano: Ah. Are you at the pub?
E.J.: Yes. Yes, I am. And, uh, it seems that Anna is just, uh, having a friendly visit.
Stefano: Are you sure?
E.J.: Well, of course, they're a little bit guarded in front of me.
Stefano: Well, of course.
E.J.: I can assure you this meeting is nothing but an excuse for them to have a family party. You can, uh, you can tell Tony he has nothing to fear from Anna at all. She's just passing through, catching up with friends and family, you know?
Stefano: Well, you did very well, my son. Thank you.
Tony: So, what did E.J. learn?
Stefano: Contrary to what Steve said, Anna's here strictly for social reasons.
Tony: And you believe him?
Stefano: Your brother has disappointed me, more than even you.
Tony: Where are you going?
Stefano: To take a little rest. I will leave it up to you to handle the pest in the garden.
Tony: Hmm. And don't worry about Anna. I'll certainly take care of her. I will not disappoint you. And to the former prince. May he soon rest in peace.
Sami: If I don't prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that E.J. is not the father, I'm afraid I'm gonna lose Lucas.
Lucas: There's nothing natural about that son of a bitch raping my wife, all right? And now I got to raise his baby? No, thank you.
Stephanie: You want Jett Carver. You want him bad.
