Shawn D.: We need to get a boat as soon as possible.

Duck: You barely got enough there to rent a kayak. [Laughs]

Shawn D.: Duck, please, I need your help.

Duck: You know, if it's a loan you're after, you can forget about that, too.

Shawn D.: I'm not asking for a loan.

Duck: Business is way down lately, in case you hadn't noticed. I'm barely pulling in enough to keep the doors open.

Shawn D.: Yes, I understand. My dad, he'll bring you the money, I swear.

Duck: Does this look like a stupid face to you? You better not answer that, boy scout.

Shawn D.: So, what about hitching a ride off the island?

Duck: Nobody I know is going anywhere. The fishing boats are all gone for the day. Maybe tomorrow.

Shawn D.: Tomorrow is too late, Duck.

Duck: What's your damn hurry, anyways?

Shawn D.: Belle's ex-husband, he found out that we're still here, so if we don't get off this island now, we could lose our daughter.

Belle: Don't worry, honey. Your dad is gonna find a way to get us off this island, and he's gonna get us far away from Philip. No one's ever taking you away from us. [Knock on door] That's probably Gabby right now.

Hope: Hello, Willow. You're looking well.

Willow: Yeah, I'm keeping the baby weight off with what they feed me around here.

Hope: Well, I brought you some fruit, granola bars, and a refill on your prenatal vitamins. I left them outside with the guard.

Willow: Hope, I'd like to know why you're really here because I think you're the last person who'd want to do something nice for me.

Hope: I'm here because you're having my son's baby. Willow, no matter what's happened in the past, the most important thing is this baby. So, yes, I do want to help any way I can.

Willow: Well, if you want to help, you'll post my bail and drop the charges.

Sami: Aah!

Lucas: Sami's in the bathroom. Go get her, hurry!

Sami: Lucas, oh, God, I saw him! I saw him, I saw him!

Hope: Willow, I'm sorry, but I can't. I can't bail you out or drop the charges.

Willow: Well, this is a bunch of crap.

Hope: Willow, you nearly burned my house to the ground.

Willow: I told you a million times, it wasn't me.

Hope: The facts suggest otherwise.

Willow: What facts? You found the jewelry in my room? It was planted there. That doesn't make me an arsonist.

Hope: I will never believe for a moment that they were planted in your room.

Willow: Right, 'cause it's a lot easier to pin this on an ex-hooker instead of your evil stepdaughter whose dad is a hotshot cop.

Hope: I'm not here to talk about Chelsea, either.

Willow: Right. You're here to act concerned about my baby. I want you to get me out of here.

Hope: I can't. I told you.

Willow: You mean you won't, not even for your own grandchild, your freakin' family. If that's how you feel, Hope, I'm done with this conversation. Guard, can you take me back to my cell?

Hope: Willow, wait a second.

Philip: Surprise, surprise.

Belle: Philip.

Philip: Aren't you going to invite me in? Hope I'm not catching you at a bad time.

Belle: It's always a bad time when you show up. However, I'm not surprised.

Philip: Going somewhere?

Belle: Yeah, getting as far away from you as possible.

Philip: Too bad that will never be far enough.

Belle: You're not taking Claire.

Philip: Belle, come on. Is this really the way you want to raise our daughter? On the run, dragging her from one sleazebag motel to another?

Belle: Claire is happy.

Philip: She needs a real home with a real family to take care of her.

Belle: She has a real family to take care of her.

Philip: You mean that good-for-nothing screw up who calls himself her father?

Belle: Philip, Shawn is her father.

Philip: DNA isn't everything.

Belle: He loves her. We're a family. Don't you get that?

Philip: No, I don't get it. I'm the father who raised her, okay? I can give her everything, Belle. This is no way for her to live. You, either, for that matter. I can't believe this is what you really want.

Belle: You're right. It's not what I want. But she's sure as hell not better off with you.

Philip: Aah!

Shawn D.: Duck, listen to me, I will send you the money as soon as possible plus interest. You've got my word.

Duck: You want my advice? Stop running.

Shawn D.: You'd do the same thing for your daughter.

Duck: No, I'd stay and face this guy, work something out for the sake of your little girl.

Shawn D.: If you knew him, you'd never say that.

Duck: I know he served in the war. And while he was off fighting for his country, you decided that his daughter would be better off without him.

Belle: Shawn, we got to go. We got to get out of here now.

Shawn D.: What happened?

Philip: I happened, you son of a bitch.

Lucas: What is it? What happened? Who was in the bathroom?

Sami: I just saw this man. Oh, God. He was just standing there in one of the stalls.

Kate: Do you know who it is? Could you describe him?

Sami: No. I mean, I-I don't know what he looked like. I just opened the door and he --

Lucas: It's all right. Don't worry about it. I'll go make sure everything's fine.

Sami: Oh, Lucas, I'm sure he's gone by now.

Lucas: I'll be right back. I just got to check it out, all right?

Sami: I better go with you. It is the ladies' room, you know.

Lucas: Uh, Mom, just stay with her for a second, okay?

Sami: [Breathing heavily]

Kate: Are you okay? You look a little green around the gills.

Sami: I'm fine.

Kate: Well, you're hyperventilating. I think you should put your head down between your legs or something.

Sami: I said I'm fine, Kate, okay? I don't need you acting like a doctor. [Breathing heavily]

Kate: Sami, you're pregnant, okay? You need to watch your blood pressure, so why don't you just do what I'm telling you? Sit down, take some deep breaths before you pass out.

Lucas: There's nobody in here.

Maggie: Well, I didn't see anyone leave after Sami.

Lucas: What's going on? What the hell is going on now?

Celeste: Where have you been? I've been calling for hours.

E.J.: I had some business to take care of.

Celeste: What about our business? I've done everything you've asked of me -- everything.

E.J.: It went perfectly, Celeste -- the fire in the cabin, the drugged lipstick, Samantha thinking that she had it inside her to commit murder. Everything went perfectly to plan...thanks to you.

Maggie: You know, I hate to say this, Lucas, but do you think it's possible that Sami just imagined seeing someone in here?

Lucas: I don't know, Aunt Maggie. I mean, you didn't see anybody?

Maggie: I didn't have my eyes glued to the door. Of course someone could have slipped out, I guess. But if it was a peeping tom, that's pretty risky, don't you think?

Lucas: Yeah, I think so.

Kate: Here's your water.

Sami: [Breathing heavily] This is not helping.

Kate: Well, I think we should call a doctor.

Sami: No. No, okay? I'm fine. I just need another minute.

Lucas: Honey, how are you doing? Are you feeling any better?

Sami: Did you see anyone? Did you see him?

Lucas: No. Whoever it was, they must have left. Here, drink that.

Sami: Oh, thank God.

Lucas: Should we call your dad? Maybe we should report this to the police.

Sami: No, I'm fine. I-I-I just want to go home, okay?

Lucas: Are you sure about that?

Sami: Yeah. I'll be fine.

Lucas: Sami! Sami! Honey! God, Sami, wake up. Honey, please.

Celeste: This was all your doing, but now enough is enough.

E.J.: Enough? It's not nearly enough. I'm just getting warmed up, so to speak.

Celeste: Why, E.J.? I mean, you've put the fear of God into this girl. You have her looking over her shoulder at every turn. Why must you torment her like this?

E.J.: Like what?

Celeste: You know what. Leaving that gas can in her bed, scaring her half to death.

E.J.: It was worth the price, wasn't it? My only regret is that I couldn't be there to see her when she found it. That would have been priceless.

Celeste: And you're shameless.

E.J.: Guilty as charged. By the way...thank you for this. It worked perfectly, just like you said it would. Kept the etorphine off my lips. And as a result, my lips are rather nice and moisturized. Here.

Celeste: Stop the stalling and enough of your jokes. Now, I did as you asked. I talked Samantha into trying to kill you, I helped her execute the crime, and I even made sure that you weren't knocked out by the lipstick.

E.J.: Yes. And you did a splendid job.

Celeste: Yes, well, now it's time for you to hold up your end of the bargain. Tell me where my daughter is. Where is Alexandra?

Shawn D.: You're gonna have to step over my dead body to get to Claire.

Philip: Suits me.

Duck: Easy there, boy scout. You already started one brawl in my bar. You're not gonna start another.

Gabby: What's all the commotion about? You.

Philip: You still gonna try and tell me Shawn and Belle aren't here?

Gabby: Daddy, call the police.

Philip: Don't bother. I called the sheriff myself.

Gabby: Well, thank you for saving me the trouble. We'll have him arrest you.

Philip: I'm sorry if the last time I was here I got a little frustrated...lost my cool.

Gabby: A little?

Philip: It's just I knew in my heart my little girl was here. I should have trusted in that and got the sheriff right then instead of pulling you and your daughter in the middle of this. That wasn't fair.

Belle: What isn't fair is you trying to take Claire away from her parents.

Gabby: Don't worry, Belle. This creep is so out of here. When the sheriff comes, I'm gonna have him arrested for trespassing.

Philip: Yeah, I don't think that's gonna happen. Not when I show him this.

Duck: What the hell is that?

Philip: It's a court order, sir. When the sheriff gets here, I'm not only gonna take Claire, but I'm gonna have Shawn and Belle arrested. They're wanted for kidnapping.

Willow: Did you change your mind? You don't want this baby born in jail?

Hope: I don't want that any more than you do. I don't want to see this baby taken by Child Protective Services, but you know what? That's exactly what's going to happen.

Willow: There's only one thing that can stop that from happening.

Hope: Not necessarily. There is another option. And I hope you'll consider it.

Willow: What's that option?

Hope: Sign over your parental rights to Bo and me.

Willow: I do not believe your nerve, Hope. You come in here acting all concerned, but it's just a big act.

Hope: No, it's not an act.

Willow: You are trying to steal my kid. You think Philip is this villain for going after Claire. And you think you're better, but you're worse, because Philip had claim on that baby.

Hope: And I don't? Bo and I are this child's grandparents.

Willow: And I am his mother.

Hope: I don't want to turn this into a child-custody battle. I really don't. I was hoping you'd do what's best for your child and agree.

Willow: To hand over my baby. What planet are you from?

Hope: You know this is the best thing for him. You know that. Willow, we could work out an amicable agreement.

Willow: Amicable for who?

Hope: For all of us. Once you're out of jail, at least you'll still have a place in your child's life.

Willow: Gee, thanks.

Hope: In the meantime, at least you know he'd be taken care of in a good home with a family that loves him.

Willow: "A good home" with the two people who railroaded me into this mess. You're crazy. Do you think that's happening, Hope? 'Cause it's not. So you can take your fruit and your vitamins and your phony concern and get the hell out.

Philip: Not only did they kidnap my daughter and flee the country, they used fake passports to get here. I'm not an unreasonable man. In their defense, Shawn is the biological father, so I can understand his desperation.

Shawn D.: What a load of crap. You're the one who forced us to go on the run. You set us up to look like unfit parents, you and your crazy father.

Belle: They actually hired a woman to kidnap her so that I would look like an unfit mother.

Officer: I don't know anything about that, miss. In fact, as far as I know, none of you have any proof of anything.

Philip: Not true, sir. A court order awarding me full custody. The judge listened to all sides and made his decision. Now it's up to you to uphold it.

Officer: I'm sorry. You're not gonna like to hear what I have to say.

E.J.: Oh, come on, Celeste. This has been such a wonderful last 24 hours, and you have to spoil it by talking about business.

Celeste: You spent half the night soaked in gasoline pretending to be unconscious while Samantha agonized and nearly worked herself into a nervous collapse over what to do about you. What, may I ask, is so satisfying about that?

E.J.: Come on, where's your sense of romance, eh?

Celeste: "Romance"? What in God's name are you talking about, E.J.?

E.J.: Don't tell me you don't see this? Last night was proof that Samantha still has feelings for me.

Lucas: Sami. Sami, wake up. Mom, call the hospital. Do something, all right? She's pregnant. She's passed out. Tell them we're on our way. Come on, I got you. I'm gonna take care of you. . .

Celeste: You are truly a sick man, E.J. Wells. You hold my daughter's life over my head and you force me to do your bidding. And you have some insane notion that Samantha still cares for you? Darling, she was ready to murder you, to set you on fire.

E.J.: But she didn't because she couldn't.

Celeste: But she tried.

E.J.: Yes, she tried. She held not one, but two lit matches over my head. All she had to do was drop one of them and -- poof -- all of her problems would have been gone. And in the knowledge of all of that, she still couldn't bring herself to do it.

Celeste: So that's what this was all about, huh? It was all about some ridiculous test?

E.J.: I couldn't very well plan a future with the mother of my child until I knew that I could trust her with my life, literally.

Celeste: You're more delusional than I thought. She didn't go through with it, darling, because for all of her faults, she's not a cold-blooded monster, not like you.

E.J.: She couldn't go through with it because she couldn't find it in her heart... which makes what I have to do all the more difficult.

Kate: "E.J. Wells, Mythic Communications." Well, what do you know?

Hope: Nobody railroaded you, Willow. Every shred of evidence points to you.

Willow: If it were true, which it isn't, it does not give you the right to take away my baby.

Hope: See, first off, it's not just your baby. It's Shawn's baby, too. And like me, he wants what's best for the baby.

Willow: Why don't you tell him to get his butt back here and be a father? Or tell him to tell his parents to let me out so this baby isn't born in jail.

Hope: You need to stop using this baby as leverage and start acting like a mother, someone who's willing to sacrifice for the sake of her child.

Willow: Oh, oh. Don't talk to me about sacrifice. You don't know what I'm going through. This baby's prenatal care is being provided through welfare, and there's not anything that I can do about it, thanks to that overworked, underpaid public defender. So you think that I'm using my baby? No, I see it as survival, and that's something that I know a lot about.

Hope: You're making a big mistake.

Willow: Well, if I am, it is my mistake to make, and there's not a damn thing you can do about it.

Hope: I didn't want to have to do this...but if you're not willing to protect your child, then I will. I'll go to the courts, and I'll petition for full custody.

Willow: You wouldn't.

Hope: Watch me.

Shawn D.: I don't care what you say, there's no way I'm turning my daughter over to this lunatic.

Officer: I didn't say you had to. In fact, you don't.

Philip: What the hell are you talking about?

Officer: Well, I feel for you, Mr. Kiriakis, but there's nothing I can do. This order doesn't mean squat here on Tinda Lao.

Philip: What?

Officer: Well, if you did your research, you would know that we do not have an extradition treaty with the States.

Belle: Oh, my God. Thank God.

Officer: So you'll have to settle this between yourselves peacefully. Or I'll be back and you'll have more trouble than you bargained for.

Shawn D.: Well, I guess that's that, Philip. Might as well go home. That court order, your money, and your name means nothing here.

Philip: Fine. I'm still not leaving here without Claire. I'd like to rent a room here, please.

Lucas: So, doctor, how is she? Is everything okay? How's the baby?

Dr. Jacobs: Well, the baby's fine, but Sami's blood pressure's through the roof. It has me very concerned.

Lucas: Yeah, you and me both.

Dr. Jacobs: You've got to keep a close eye on her, keep her stress levels down, or she could end up bedridden during the entire pregnancy.

Lucas: Wait a minute. We're supposed to get married soon.

Dr. Jacobs: Well, if she does as she's told, she can walk down the aisle, but you're gonna have to keep her very calm.

Lucas: All right, I can do that. Can I take her home now?

Dr. Jacobs: I'd like to keep her overnight, monitor her vital signs just to be safe. If you wouldn't mind filling out the paperwork...

Lucas: No, that's fine. Thanks.

Sami: Celeste, it's Sami. You have to call me back. You have to find E.J. He's still after me, and you have to stop him. You'll have to –

Kate: Hey. Well, it looks like you're feeling better. You're already making phone calls, huh?

Sami: Kate, you really shouldn't be in here. I'm supposed to keep my blood pressure down.

Kate: Oh, well, actually, I came by 'cause I just wanted to let you know that after you and Lucas left, I rechecked the ladies' room for you, and you won't believe what I found. This. Looks like E.J. Wells was the man in the ladies' room with you, wasn't he?

Celeste: Just tell me where my daughter is so I can be done with you once and for all.

E.J.: You know, I think I'm gonna keep that piece of information to myself for right now.

Celeste: We had a deal, E.J. You promised.

E.J.: Patience.

Celeste: You bastard, you tell me where my daughter is.

E.J.: Hey, hey, Celeste, calm down, darling, all right? I'll tell you after the wedding. Till then, you keep your mouth shut, okay?

Celeste: You promised, E.J.

E.J.: Maybe I did. But I need some insurance, some insurance that you're not gonna wake up one morning and decide that you want to be a hero. Because you're not a hero, Celeste. Don't forget...you were the person who talked Samantha into killing me in the first place.

Kate: I'm just wondering why, when you saw E.J. in the ladies' room, you didn't tell any of us that it was him.

Sami: Whoever it was, they took me by surprise.

Kate: Really? And he left E.J.'s card behind? I mean, come on. Even you can't expect me to believe that.

Sami: I don't care what you believe. I know what I didn't see.

Kate: I just find it interesting, that's all, that none of us had heard or seen from E.J. since he said he was eloping to Vegas with Brandy Mathas, and then suddenly he escapes a raging fire at the very same cabin where you miraculously rescued Lucas.

Sami: For the millionth time, Kate, I have no idea what you're talking about. Now please leave. I'm suppose to be resting.

Kate: Yes, I know that. I know that. That's actually what I'm concerned about, because if you continue to go down this road with whatever stress you're feeling, I mean, you're gonna endanger the baby.

Sami: Endanger the bab-- you are the one endangering the baby right now, but you don't give a damn, do you?

Kate: Sami, look, all I'm doing is trying to figure this out. I'm trying to figure out why, when you saw E.J., you screamed bloody murder. I mean, you were hysterical like you had seen a ghost or something.

Sami: Get out.

Kate: There's something very strange going on. That's all I'm saying. Something very strange, and it started the same time that E.J. went to Vegas 'cause that was the very same night that I found Lucas out cold in his hotel room when he was supposed to be having a romantic rendezvous with his fiancé.

Sami: He was.

Kate: Really? And no one answers the phone or answers the door for over four hours?

Sami: We were busy.

Kate: Yeah, I...I know. I mean, I'm really not buying that, to tell you the truth. I think what happened is that Lucas was there out cold while you were at that cabin with E.J.

Sami: Get out right now.

Kate: But there's only one thing that I can't figure out, and that's about the fire. When did that fire start? How did that fire start? Unless, of course, you had something to do with that, too, Sami.

Sami: You meddling bitch, leave me alone. Get out right now.

Willow: You are worse than Philip. You are actually threatening to steal a child that isn't even born yet.

Hope: Do you really want your child to grow up in foster care, being shuffled from one home to another?

Willow: Of course I don't.

Hope: Willow, you said that you had a horrible, sad childhood, that you never had the advantage of a stable, loving home. Don't you want better for your child?

Willow: Yes, I do, and I will be the one to provide a loving home.

Hope: How? How are you gonna do that from prison?

Willow: Well, if I wasn't here on a bad rap, I would get a job. I would do whatever it takes.

Hope: You're not being realistic.

Willow: No, Hope, you're not being realistic. I have told you a hundred times Chelsea started the fire. I don't belong here. One day, you are going to find out the truth and you are going to feel very sorry that you did not believe me.

Hope: No, Willow, you're going to be very sorry if you don't do what's best for your child while you still have the chance.

Willow: Hope, I'm not changing my mind.

Hope: Okay. Bo and I will see you in court, then.

Gabby: You cannot let him stay here. He's trying to take away Claire.

Belle: Please, Duck, you have to send him away.

Duck: And what if I do? He'll just pay somebody else for a room somewhere, and he offered me triple the rate. I can't afFord to turn that down, especially with you two freeloaders bleeding me dry.

Shawn D.: Is that what this is all about? It's money?

Duck: Look, I am trying to run a business here, and I am damn sick of you involving my daughter and me in your personal affairs.

Gabby: Daddy, that's not fair.

Duck: We don't know either of you from Adam. For all I know, this guy's on the level and he's got a right to the kid. He's got a court order that says so. There must be some reason for that.

Gabby: I can't believe -- you are just being greedy. You are trying to justify what you're doing.

Duck: What I am trying to do is mind my own business and keep a roof over our heads.

Philip: Everything's set. Titan will be wiring me money. I'll be able to give you a very large cash advance on the room.

Belle: I want to talk to you alone.

Shawn D.: Belle --

Belle: Please, Shawn, just take Claire. What are you doing? What are you trying to accomplish?

Philip: I'll be able to keep an eye on you, watch you two day and night. You leave the hotel, I leave the hotel. You leave the island, I'll be on a boat right behind you. And eventually, I'll have my chance. The second you close your eyes, I'll be there, and I'll do exactly what you did to me. I'll take her...and you'll never see her again.

Belle: I hate you. I hate what you've become. You will never get your hands on my daughter as long as there is a breath left in my body.

Belle: I can't believe that I ever loved you.

Philip: You didn't, Belle. We both know that.

Belle: You were honorable. The way you served your country, the sacrifices you made -- what happened to that person?

Philip: He's still here, fighting for what he believes in. Sir...you have my credit card on file, cash on the way. In the meantime, I hope this small deposit will be enough to secure my room.

Duck: I think that should do it.

Philip: Thank you. I appreciate you putting me up, especially after my behavior the last time I was here.

Duck: I understand a man fighting for his kid. And being you're a fellow vet and all.

Philip: Two tours.

Duck: Two?

Philip: Yeah, I got this little souvenir.

Duck: Oh, man. And you re-upped after that.

Philip: My country needed me.

Belle: You were running, Philip. It had nothing to do with your country.

Duck: Hey, I'd watch my tongue if I were you, blondie. I hope you enjoy your stay here, soldier.

Philip: Thank you, sir. Thank you very much.

Duck: Call me Duck.

Philip: Duck.

Duck: Hey, stop by the bar tomorrow. I'll buy you a beer. We'll swap a few war stories.

Philip: I'd like that, Duck. I'm there.

Celeste: If it weren't for Alexandra, not only would I have lit the fire myself, I would have roasted marshmallows over your flaming corpse.

E.J.: Ha! You are a feisty one, eh? You know, I'm beginning to see what my father saw in you.

Celeste: Yeah, but what you can't see is as much as you idolize the man and long to be like him, darling, you fail miserably. Evil though both of you are, at least Stefano loved his children and he always put their safety and happiness even before his own.

E.J.: Are you saying that I won't?

Celeste: [Chuckles] You know the child that Samantha's carrying? It could very well be yours, as you're so fond of insisting. Yeah, and every time you send Samantha through hell, you put that pregnancy in jeopardy. So, now, E.J., you tell me, what kind of father does that make you, huh? What kind of successor to the DiMera throne?

Sami: Who the hell do you think you are? I am not gonna sit in this hospital bed and be interrogated by such a horrible woman who has such a pathetic life that all she can do with her time is concoct wild stories about people and screw with her children's lives.

Kate: Wow. Looks like I hit a nerve, which is usually what happens when you're trying to hide something.

Sami: I'm not trying to hide anything.

Kate: The hell you aren't. Something went on at that hotel room, okay? I know that. You were at the cabin. Did you also start the fire, Sami?

Sami: No.

Kate: And why the hell did E.J. think that you would elope with him? What's he holding over your head? Because I know it has to be something.

Sami: Get out of here! Get out of my room! Get out of my life!

Kate: No.

Sami: Kate, get out! Get out and leave me alone!

Lucas: What the hell is going on?! What are you doing here?!

Kate: Lucas, I have to tell you something.

Lucas: I don't care what you have to say. I don't want to listen to any of it.

Kate: Lucas, you don't understand.

Lucas: Mom, get out of here right now! You're stressing her out! Leave!

Maggie: Hey there. You look like you lost your best friend.

Hope: Oh, Maggie, I just came from seeing Willow Stark.

Maggie: Oh. Well, that will put anybody in a bad mood.

Hope: It's worked my every last nerve. I was hoping to God that I could get her to agree to let Bo and I take care of the baby while Shawn's away. I don't want the baby to end up in foster care.

Maggie: Well, that sounds like a good idea to me... and very generous of you and Bo. Oh, wait, let me guess -- she didn't see it that way.

Hope: No, of course not. She accused me of being just like Philip -- trying to steal her baby.

Maggie: She's just trying to work your nerves, honey.

Hope: I don't know. I don't know what to do.

Maggie: Hope, this baby is your son's and is your future grandchild. I mean, you should be concerned, especially given the situation.

Hope: But no matter what, she's still the baby's mother.

Maggie: Yeah, the woman that set fire to your house. And you and Ciara could have died. Don't forget that. Don't let her manipulate you or shame you into backing down from protecting this child. I mean, you have a right to do what you have to do. I mean, just be glad that Willow Stark is where she is.

Hope: Where, hopefully, she can never hurt or manipulate anyone in my family again.

Willow: I just have to ask my doctor one question. Nick, it's me -- Willow. I need you to come down here right away. It's a matter of life and death.

Belle: I can't believe that Duck let Philip stay here. I thought duck was our friend or sort of.

Shawn D.: Yeah, well, we obviously thought wrong.

Belle: Shawn, what are we gonna do?

Shawn D.: The only thing that I know for sure right now is Philip is not gonna lay his hands on our daughter. We're gonna figure something out in the morning, okay?

Philip: Hey, neighbors. Turning in so soon?

Belle: What do you want?

Philip: Say good night to my daughter. Hey, sweet dreams, baby girl. Oh, and if you've got any ideas about sneaking out at night, don't bother. I'll be watching you.

Lucas: Is that better?

Sami: Thank you.

Lucas: Try to calm down, okay? Do me a favor and close your eyes.

Sami: Lucas, what are you talking about?

Lucas: Just close them for me, all right? Are they closed?

Sami: Yes.

Lucas: Are you sure?

Sami: Yes.

Lucas: Okay. I just want you to think nothing but good thoughts, okay? Just imagine us...standing at the altar...with your hand in mine.

Sami: What are you doing?

Lucas: Close your eyes. You're cheating.

Sami: I'm not.

Lucas: Keep them closed. Come on. We'll be standing there at the altar...with your hand in mine...and I promise...to love, honor, and cherish you for the rest of our lives. You wanted a green wedding, right?

Sami: Yeah.

Lucas: Well, there you go. You got a green wedding now. You can open your eyes.

Sami: Oh, my God, Lucas. That is so unbelievably beautiful.

Lucas: Isn't it? Yeah, it's totally green, too. I mean, not the diamond itself, the inspiration behind the diamond, how it was mined.

Sami: Oh, my God. You got it from Tacori.

Lucas: Yes, I did.

Sami: And they mine the diamonds in a way that's environmentally friendly and not hurting the environment. I can't believe you did this. Lucas, I can't believe you did this for me.

Lucas: Honey, we're gonna be standing at that altar, and when Father Kelly pronounces us husband and wife, all of our dreams are gonna come true. We're finally gonna live happily ever after.

E.J.: My son or daughter will have everything my father gave me and more. You hear me?

Celeste: I pity the poor creature.

E.J.: I'd shut up if I was you, sweetheart, if you ever want to see your daughter alive again. You got me? It was a pleasure doing business with you.

Celeste: How do I know I can trust you, E.J.?

E.J.: [Laughs] You don't know that you can trust me, sweetheart. But at least now we're on even ground, eh? Bye-bye.

Celeste: Hello, Samantha. It's me. I'm sorry, darling. I wasn't able to get in touch with E.J. He's just disappeared. Look, I can't do that.

Stephanie: What if you're wrong about papa? What if he really is crazy and you're just too afraid to admit it?

Willow: So, you can tell your cousin Hope that I will never turn my back on this baby.

Kayla: I have to warn you, Adrienne, if you decide to help Steve, you're gonna put your life on the line.

Adrienne: I'll do whatever it takes to get my brother out of that place.

E.J.: This is the final act in our little play.
