Belle: It's late. You must be tired, hmm. I know why you won't go to sleep. It's 'cause your daddy's not here to tuck you in. Well, Daddy's not here tonight, so you're stuck with Mommy. Cookie. Mommy and cookie. Here you go. [Knock on door] Oh, it's you.

Duck: Yeah, expecting somebody else?

Belle: Yeah, guess I was.

Gabby: It's a beautiful night, huh?

Shawn D.: Yeah. It's beautiful. I thought you went to bed.

Gabby: I couldn't sleep. Care to join me?

Shawn D.: Uh...thanks, but, um, I'm gonna pass. It's kind of late.

Gabby: Past your bedtime, huh?

Shawn D.: [Chuckles]

Gabby: Well, is everything okay with the beds Belle and I set up in your room?

Shawn D.: You mean the twin beds? Yeah, everything's great. They're fine. I just needed to get out here and get some air.

Gabby: Mmm. You two had a fight, hmm? And that's really none of my business. So you know what? I'm just gonna go now.

Shawn D.: Gabby, wait. You don't have to go. I think I'm gonna take that beer after all.

Gabby: Cheers.

Shawn D.: Cheers.

Gabby: Mmm.

Philip: I appreciate your meeting me on such short notice.

E.J.: Long overdue, Mr. Kiriakis.

Philip: Oh, it's Philip, please.

E.J.: As you wish. Well, there doesn't seem to be anybody around, so may I ask why the secrecy?

Philip: I'll get right to the point. I want to talk to you about Shawn Brady. Has he been in contact with you since he last worked for you?

E.J.: Last I heard, Shawn and Belle took a dip off a ferry. All they found was a bloody life raft, sad to say.

Philip: I have reason to believe they may still be alive.

E.J.: Do you now?

Philip: We have people scouring every island in the South Pacific within a 1,000-mile radius of where he, Belle, and Claire were last seen.

E.J.: Well, Shawn and I have some unfinished business, so how may I help you?

Lucas: What's going on? What are you looking for?

Sami: My file folder with all my wedding plans in it. I wanted to take it with me to lunch today.

Lucas: Don't worry about it. You don't need it.

Sami: This is the knot. I want to be prepared.

Lucas: Baby, this isn't about our wedding. It's about mythic gathering information for high-tech ceremonies like podcasts and webcasts and stuff like that.

Sami: I know all of that. I just had some ideas that I wanted to run by... what's her name again?

Lucas: Uh, it was Cydney Nelson, actually. What, you want to be a wedding planner now? I think you'd be great at that.

Sami: Very funny.

Lucas: No, I think you would. You'd make a great wedding planner, baby. But, honey, you can't share your ideas if we don't hurry. We can't be late. Come on.

Sami: I know. Just give me one more second. I'll look in the bedroom. Maybe it's there.

Lucas: Two seconds. Ticktock, ticktock, ticktock. 1:58, 57... 56... Mom, it's Lucas. Operation surprise wedding shower is under way. Sami doesn't suspect a thing.

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of our Lives.

[Knock on door]

Billie: [Clears throat]

Hope: Hi.

Billie: Hi.

Hope: Hi. Um, I'm sorry just to drop in. I'm actually going to Sami's shower. I thought maybe I should talk to you first about what happened with Chelsea the night of the fire.

Billie: Come on in.

Hope: Thank you. I know you and Chelsea had a pretty bad falling-out over what happened with Nick.

Billie: Oh, right, you mean because I slept with a guy she cared about who was half my age?

Hope: That's not what I was thinking.

Billie: You're in the minority.

Hope: If I have learned anything this past year, it is not to judge anyone too harshly or too quickly.

Billie: Well, Bo has come to the conclusion that Chelsea was involved in the fire. Are you saying that you don't think so?

Hope: I'm saying that I don't know what to think. All I do know is someone started that fire.

Billie: Right, to cover the robbery.

Hope: Yes.

Billie: Listen, Chelsea may have her problems. I realize that. But one thing I do know is she is not a thief, and she is not an arsonist.

Hope: But the fact remains that she was at the house.

Billie: She admitted that she was at the house. Come on, Hope. We were both cops. When's the last time the bad guy placed himself at the scene of the crime?

Hope: Billie, I understand --

Billie: She told me she did not step foot inside your house, and I believe her.

Hope: Billie, I understand that you want to defend your daughter.

Billie: Yeah, you're damn right I do. And if Chelsea's word isn't good enough for you and Bo, I'm sorry, but it's good enough for me.

Hope: Come on, we both know when Chelsea's upset and angry, as she was that night, she can be unpredictable, to say the least.

Billie: So what's your point?

Hope: My point is your belief may not be enough to get her off the hook.

Billie: Okay, it was nice of you to stop by.

Hope: Billie, all I'm trying to tell you is Chelsea is in serious trouble here.

Kate: I'd like to know what the holdup is. Lucas said they were set.

Chelsea: They'll be out soon, okay?

Kate: I don't know how the hell --

Chelsea: Shh! Come on.

Sami: Oh, my God. I can't believe I finally found it. Now I will really be able to wow her with all of my ideas.

Lucas: Yes, you will.

Sami: Maybe she'll put us in the magazine, in the website.

Lucas: Maybe, maybe.

Sami: The wedding of the century.

Lucas: I'm not gonna argue with that. Hey, hey. Let's do it.

Sami: All right, I'm ready.

Chelsea: This is so exciting.

Kate: Ah, yes, it's always been my dream to do something special for Sami Brady.

Belle: What can I do for you, Duck?

Duck: Sorry for knocking on your door so late. It's kind of important. I need a word with the boy scout.

Belle: Oh, Shawn's not here. He went out.

Duck: Out? Where?

Belle: I don't know, but somewhere that's not here, okay? Can I give him a message for you?

Duck: Yeah. Only first I want you to ask him what kind of man runs off in the middle of the night and leaves a woman and baby at home.

Gabby: So, you want to talk about it, this fight you had with Belle?

Shawn D.: No. No, not really.

Gabby: Oh, well, um, it's really all my fault. Yeah. I'm the one who encouraged her to call home earlier, and the thing with the bed.

Shawn D.: Gabby, come on. It's got nothing to do with you. It's just stuff that Belle and I, we need to get through.

Gabby: Yeah. And hopefully you will.

Shawn D.: We will.

Gabby: Good. Because the last thing I ever want to do is cause problems for you guys.

Billie: I am well aware of the fact that Chelsea could be in trouble, and I also know that when Chelsea is hurt or disappointed, she lashes out. But she is hurt and disappointed in her mother. Why would she lash out at you and Bo? Why would she do that? Why can't Bo see that?

Hope: Bo is... being a good cop.

Billie: What about being a good dad and believing in your kid?

Hope: All right, now, that is not fair. Given Chelsea's history and the fact that she was around the house at the time of the fire -- Billie, Bo has to follow that lead. It's not like he considers it an open-and-shut case.

Billie: Oh, that's reassuring. What do you think?

Hope: I told you.

Billie: You don't want to rush to judgment. But what about what's in your heart, Hope? I mean, do you really think that Chelsea is capable of such a thing?

Hope: I don't want to believe it. I thought I saw changes in her, positive changes. But now I'm not sure, not really. Billie, I came over here hoping to find answers.

Billie: Well, if you want answers, you're gonna have to talk to Chelsea.

Kate: I want you to try one of these and tell me what you think.

Chelsea: What are they?

Kate: Artichoke puffs.

Chelsea: Oh, my God. They're amazing.

Kate: Good because they cost me a small fortune at Chez Rouge. Actually, I don't even know Whythering. I'm sure Sami is more of a pork rind and beer kind of gal, don't you think?

Chelsea: Why are you even throwing this thing for her if you don't like her that much?

Kate: I'm doing it for Lucas.

Chelsea: It's a shower for Sami.

Kate: Yes, but it will make Lucas happy even if I pretend to support his wedding to a woman who's going to make his life miserable.

Chelsea: Sami's not gonna do that.

Kate: Why do you say that?

Chelsea: Because. Look, I've been spending a lot of time with them, and I think that they're really happy. They really love each other.

Kate: [Scoffs] Like that makes any difference.

Chelsea: How can you say that?

Kate: Oh, sweetie, you are -- you are very young. But take it from me. Love is very overrated. I mean, it is an amusing diversion at times, but, ultimately, in the end, it will dull your wit and crush your spirit.

Chelsea: If I ever felt like that, I'd jump off a building.

Kate: Don't get me wrong. Being in love, well, there are good things about it, too. I mean, fabulous sex.

Chelsea: Okay, that's too much information.

Kate: But, my dear, don't let it make you stupid.

Chelsea: You think I was stupid with Nick?

Kate: [Sighs] I think what happened with Nick was just one of those things.

Chelsea: "One of those things" with my mother.

Kate: Yes. Well, I've been wanting to talk to you about that because I have one thing to tell you. Get over it.

Lucas: Cydney, this is my beautiful fiancé, Samantha Brady. She's here to ask questions a guy wouldn't think of.

Cydney: Nice to meet you, Miss Brady.

Sami: Please, call me Sami. I'm a big fan of your website.

Cydney: Oh, thanks. [Cellphone ringing]

Sami: Excuse me. Maybe it's the mayor making an RSVP for our wedding.

Lucas: It better be a mayor.

Sami: I'm so sorry. Excuse me. Hello.

Celeste: Samantha, it's me. I need to speak with you right away, and this time, darling, don't hang up. Your whole future depends on it.

Celeste: Did you hear me? Things have gone from bad to worse with E.J. We need to talk right now.

Sami: You know, I don't know how else to say this, but I am really not interested. I'm gonna have to ask you to please not call me again. Goodbye. I'm so sorry about that. People just don't know how to take "no" for an answer.

Lucas: Who was that?

Sami: One of the D.J.’s we spoke to. I told him that we decided on a live band at our wedding, but he won't let it go. We want to have everything the best for marrying the man of my dreams.

Lucas: Right back at you.

Cydney: I'd like to congratulate you both. I mean, talk about true love. What a story.

Sami: Well, thank you. I think so, too. I can't wait to marry the most wonderful, Romantic man ever. And our wedding is gonna be just as Romantic.

Lucas: Mmm.

Sami: But I did bring some of the plans that I have for our wedding, and I was wondering -- you're the expert. I thought maybe you wouldn't mind taking a look at some of the drawings. I helped actually design the wedding dress. You can't look! But there's also the bridesmaids' gowns that I helped with, and, um, I did some cutouts and some drawings of the bouquets and some centerpieces that I was thinking about. I wanted it to be really creative.

Cydney: Yes, you did, didn't you?

Sami: I'd really be interested in your feedback. What do you really think?

Cydney: Well, I think your wedding's going to be lovely, Sami, very...traditional.

Sami: Traditional?

Lucas: You know what, ladies? I think we're getting a little off track here. We're talking about weddings for Mythic, in particular, the virtual ceremonies. Now, do you really see that taking off?

Cydney: Absolutely. They're becoming quite popular. You know, it's a great way to share with people who may not be able to attend in person.

Sami: You really think my wedding is traditional?

Cydney: There's nothing wrong with that, Sami, nothing at all, if that's what you're going for.

Sami: It's not. I wanted our wedding to be creative and special and maybe even edgy. I wanted it to be different. I wanted this wedding to stand out from the others.

Cydney: Well, if you really want something different, then you might consider a theme or destination wedding or, better yet, a green wedding, which is my personal favorite.

Sami: Yeah, but green isn't really my color.

Cydney: Green refers to it being environmentally friendly.

Sami: Of course.

Cydney: For example, the bride, groom, and wedding party wear clothes all made of natural fibers like organic cotton or silk, they arrive by hybrid car or horse and carriage, and for the reception, you choose a venue that conserves energy by using solar-powered fans instead of air-conditioning. You turn off most of the lights and use soy-based candles. You get the idea.

Sami: I get the idea. This is...fantastic. I mean, why didn't I -- this is amazing. A green wedding. I mean, it -- it's totally right. Nothing bad could happen at a green wedding. I mean, it would be like how I saved your life. Now we're saving the environment.

Cydney: Now, there's a wedding we'd cover.

Sami: Consider it done. We're going green.

Lucas: Whoa, hold on to your hybrids, all right? That is not happening.

Kate: Chelsea, your mother is a beautiful, sexy woman, but she is also human, and Nick is human, and there are a lot of temptations in this world.

Chelsea: I can't even believe that you are defending her right now.

Kate: I'm not. But she made a mistake, and she wouldn't have done it except that she was in a very bad place mentally, and, also, she took a drink. And besides that, she had no idea that you were interested in Nick Romantically, Chelsea.

Chelsea: Yeah, neither did I. So what's his excuse? Because he was totally sober, and he claimed to be in love with me.

Kate: Actually, that brings me to another little theory that I have that men are basically idiots, and they're, at times, not ruled by their heart or their brain but by another part of their anatomy entirely.

Chelsea: So, what, so you're saying I should just forgive Nick because he's a guy and he can't help but be a jerk?

Kate: No, but you need to forgive your mother because it's the right thing to do and she deserves it. And as for Nick, I mean, do what you want. The other good thing about being a woman is that you can make men suffer for their transgressions whether you take them back or not.

Chelsea: Oh, believe me, Nick's suffering.

Kate: But I don't want you to obsess about this. It's a waste of time. Life is too short. Either get on with it or get over it. You -- you need to be in charge. You are a woman.

Chelsea: Right.

Kate: No, no, no, no, no. Hey, I'm serious here. I want to hear you say it. "I am a woman."

Chelsea: I am a woman.

Kate: That's a little better. I think you're going to be all right.

[Knock on door]

Kate: [Sighs] Sounds like our guests have arrived, huh?

Chelsea: I'll get it.

Kate: Chelsea, do you have a hairbrush I could borrow?

Chelsea: No, I actually lost mine someplace.

Billie: Hi. I hope we're not too early.

Chelsea: No.

Hope: Hello, Chelsea.

Chelsea: Hi. Come in. We just finished setting up.

Billie: Thanks. Oh, the place looks fantastic. You did a great job. Hi, Mom.

Chelsea: You know what? I am gonna go make a phone call if you guys will just excuse me.

Belle: Shawn hasn't deserted us. He just -- you know, he needed some air.

Duck: Yeah, I know these rooms can get a little stuffy. That's why we put in all those windows.

Belle: Well, I guess it wasn't enough to cool him off tonight.

Duck: Cool him off from the heat or something else?

Belle: Look, Duck, I know that we're on a free pass here, and I really do appreciate that. But that doesn't give you or anybody else the right to pry into our business. So if you have a question, ask it. If not, it's late, and I'm tired. Got it?

Gabby: Um, I'm sorry.

Shawn D.: For what?

Gabby: I'm not usually the type of person who gets involved in other people's business.

Shawn D.: But, Gabby, it's not like we showed up on this island as tourists. You got a right to ask questions.

Gabby: Yeah, a little too much, I think, at least for Belle. And when I noticed she didn't have a ring on her finger --

Shawn D.: Oh, she does. Actually, it's the size of a small country.

Gabby: Really? Wow because she told me --

Shawn D.: It's not from me. It's from her ex-husband, the guy who's chasing us.

Gabby: Jeez, no wonder things are so tense.

Shawn D.: Yeah. You know, I thought that things were gonna turn out okay, once we were away from Philip we could start a whole new life together. To tell you the truth, things haven't really worked out that way at all.

Philip: Why don't we exchange information, keep each other informed? If I find him, I'll let you know. If you do, the same with applies. Does that sound like a plan to you?

E.J.: A splendid one. You have yourself a partner. Wouldn't it be amazing if we both were hoping for the same ends?

Philip: I wouldn't be the least bit surprised.

Gabby: Hey, Shawn. Um, even though things haven't quite worked out the way you wanted, you still love her, though.

Shawn D.: Yeah. Yeah, I do.

Gabby: And she loves you?

Shawn D.: Yeah. I-I think so.

Gabby: You think? She hasn't told you? You haven't asked her?

Shawn D.: We're not exactly there yet. The main reason -- the most important reason we're together is Claire. But we're gonna stay together, at least until she's safe from Philip, so we got plenty of time to figure things out. I told her I'd be patient.

Gabby: That can't be easy for a guy like you. I mean, you know, a guy who can practically have any girl he wanted, any time, right?

Shawn D.: Yeah, go ahead and send me a bill for that one.

Gabby: No, I'm serious. Somebody who is as sweet and smart and brave and funny and smoking hot. Wow. That was completely inappropriate, wasn't it? I am so sorry. I should just shut up.

Shawn D.: No, Gabby, no. I appreciate the compliment.

Gabby: Okay. What I meant to say was this. A guy who has as much going for him as you should at least know where he stands. Don't you think?

Duck: You don't have to get all huffy about it, young lady.

Belle: I am not getting all huffy. I'm just -- it's been a long day.

Duck: Okay, fair enough. I didn't mean to pry. Just tell your boy scout I need him early tomorrow, will you? Mail boat comes in. I could use him to help me unload.

Belle: I will tell him.

Duck: All right, then.

Belle: Good night.

Duck: Good night.

Belle: Oh, by the way, can you make sure that our letter goes out tomorrow? It's really important.

Duck: Yeah, if it's in the pile downstairs, it'll go. But I don't have time to look around for it right now.

Belle: Thanks.

Lucas: You know, that does sound great. I'm not gonna argue with you ladies. A green wedding is nice. But I don't think we should switch to a green wedding or any other color wedding, because the arrangements have been made already.

Sami: I mean, they can be unmade, Lucas. We're talking about melting ice caps here and endangered grizzly bears.

Lucas: Grizzly bears? I got to talk you into recycling cans. We're talking about grizzly bears right now?

Sami: It's never too late to change your life, Lucas.

Lucas: Yeah, especially if you're gonna get a little publicity out of it.

Sami: Lucas --

Cydney: I really didn't mean to start any trouble here.

Sami: It's no trouble. It isn't any trouble. My future husband wants to save the world, the environment, just as much as I do.

Lucas: Yeah. [Clears throat]

Sami: Come on, Lucas. Come on, you said you would do anything for me.

Lucas: Yeah, I did say that, but this is --

Sami: Come on. Pretty please with tofu on top?

Lucas: Tofu, huh? All right. Tofu's protein-based. We'll take it. We'll do the green wedding, I guess.

Sami: Thank you. You are the best. I love you so much. Thank you, Lucas. This is going to be a wedding no one will ever forget.

E.J.: Well, I think this could be the beginning of a very useful friendship.

Philip: I couldn't agree more. But right now, I got to run. I'm due at Sami's wedding shower.

E.J.: Oh, do give Samantha my best. Wedding shower. I think I better go shopping.

[Knock on door]

Hope: Hi. I don't mean to bother you. I was just hoping maybe we could talk for a minute.

Chelsea: Look, if you're here to interrogate me, I already told you guys everything I know. But, of course, no one believes me.

Hope: Your mother believes you. Yeah, she told me so herself in no uncertain terms.

Chelsea: She did?

Hope: And your Grandmother Kate stood up for you, too, when she called to invite me to Sami's shower. And Lucas and Sami, they obviously believe in you enough to let you live in their home with their son there and a baby on the way. So, all in all, I'd say you have an awful lot of support.

Chelsea: Yeah, just not yours or my dad's... especially not my dad's.

Hope: Chelsea, your dad --

Chelsea: My dad thinks that I'm an arsonist. I will never forget the look on his face that day he saw me at Max's garage. I could see in his eyes that he thought I was guilty, his own daughter.

Hope: Chelsea, you were there that night.

Chelsea: I didn't set your house on fire! Look, Hope, I know that I am a lot of things, but I am not an arsonist. If anyone is, it's Willow. She's the one with the history of setting fires.

Hope: Willow actually was a suspect. Roman sent an officer over to question her, but she said she was with her brother that night.

Chelsea: Yeah, of course she would say that.

Hope: Chelsea, Jed confirmed her story.

Chelsea: Maybe he lied for her. I mean, he does owe her a lot. She's helping him pay for college.

Hope: You know, that's true. She is paying all of his bills.

Chelsea: Yeah, she pays for everything. Look, Hope, I-I know that I've messed up a lot, over and over again. And I probably don't deserve the benefit of the doubt, but I swear to you, I would never try to hurt you or that baby. I love you guys. I really do. And I just really wish that you believed me.

Hope: I do believe you. I believe you, Chelsea.

Kate: I am so happy that you decided to come.

Billie: Me too. And it will mean a lot to Lucas.

Philip: I'm not so sure about that. Who are those people?

Billie: Well, they're friends of Sami and Lucas' from Mythic.

Philip: Guess I've been a little out of touch.

Billie: Uh, you think?

Philip: All right, don't give me a hard time, even if I do deserve it.

Billie: It's okay. We understand. You've been busy trying to find Claire.

Philip: Yeah. Well, there are a lot of people I love in Salem, too, right here, and I haven't been paying very much attention to them.

Kate: Well, you're here now. That's the important thing, right?

Billie: That's right.

Philip: Yeah, I'm here now.

Billie: And we missed you. Come here. Give me another hug.

Philip: It's so good to be back.

Shawn D.: I'm not gonna lie. I'd like to know what's going on in belle's head when it comes to our future, but I'm not gonna push it.

Gabby: Why not? She'd be crazy to let you go.

Shawn D.: Don't be so sure about that. See, before Belle helped me realize that I needed to step up and be a part of Claire's life, I was screwing up all over the place. I was living with an ex-hooker. I was working for a criminal. You want to retract those nice things you just said about me a few minutes ago?

Gabby: Hmm. Not at all. My mother was a lady of the evening, as she preferred to be called. So, no, I don't look down on anybody who has it in their heart to look past that because for most of my mom's life, no one ever did. At least that's what I've been told.

Shawn D.: Look, um, I'm sorry about me using the word "hooker."

Gabby: I'm not offended. No, look, my mother did what she had to. She lived in Saigon during the war, and there was no work. There was no money. But there were lots of American soldiers with cash in their Pockets and, um, needs to be met. You know, a woman never becomes a prostitute by choice. Life makes that choice for her.

Shawn D.: So what happened to your mom?

Gabby: She died of cholera a month after I was born.

Shawn D.: I'm sorry.

Gabby: And I would have ended up lost and forgotten in some orphanage in Nam until one day when I was about, I don't know, a year old, this big, tough marine came in. And he scooped me in his arms. He said he was my daddy... and that he was gonna take care of me. And he kept that promise. Even if it meant he had to give up some things that he wanted, he took care of me. He made a living for us, and he never let any woman take him away from me. Never once did he even say anything bad against my mom.

Shawn D.: Wow. Was this Duck you're talking about?

Gabby: Yeah, you sound surprised.

Shawn D.: No, I'm just -- I've got a newfound respect for the man.

Gabby: You know, in a lot of ways, you're like him. And for the sake of your kid, you gave up everything, including your own needs. I think that's about as honorable as you can get.

Belle: Shawn.

Gabby: I should, um, get to bed. Good night, you guys, Claire.

Shawn D.: Good night, Gabby. I, um, thought you two went to bed.

Belle: I couldn't get her to go down until you tucked her in.

Shawn D.: Oh. Come here. Come here. You miss your daddy? Come on. Come to me. Come on, dada.

Belle: Yeah, it should only take just a few minutes for you to come upstairs and get her settled.

Shawn D.: [Laughs] No, I was actually thinking that I want to come upstairs and sleep, if that's okay with you.

Belle: Of course it is.

Claire: [Babbling]

Shawn D.: Let's go. Come on.

Chelsea: You mean that? You really believe that I didn't do it?

Hope: I wasn't sure until just this moment.

Chelsea: What changed your mind?

Hope: You. You did. I looked into your eyes, and I saw the truth, an opinion I intend on sharing with your dad.

Chelsea: Hope, thank you. Thank you so much. I promise you're not gonna regret this.

Hope: I know I won't.

[Door opens]

Billie: Uh... what's, uh, what's going on over here?

Chelsea: Actually, Hope just told me she believes me about the fire. She's on my side.

Billie: Oh, thank you, Hope. Thank you so much. We're really gonna need your support, especially since I just got off the phone with Bo. He's on his way over. Official business.

Philip: What happened to Billie? I saw her rushing out of here.

Kate: She got a call from Bo. I'm just hoping it's not a problem again. [Doorbell rings] Well, I guess I have to get that since I'm the only hostess left. Excuse me.

E.J.: Don't worry. I'm not crashing the party. I just wanted to drop this off for Samantha.

Kate: I'll tell you what. Why don't you come in, and you can give it to her yourself?

E.J.: Why don't I?

Kate: Well, this party may be fun after all.

Celeste: Samantha. Thank God you're finally home. I've been waiting, girl.

Sami: What are you doing here? What, are you stalking me now? What is it gonna take to get rid of you?

Celeste: Look, I'm trying to help you, warn you.

Sami: You know, Lucas is gonna be home any second now, okay? He can't see us together.

Celeste: Then shut your mouth and listen. It's about E.J.

Sami: I figured.

Celeste: Well, I was at Chez Rouge last night, and I overheard him pressing Nick Fallon for information about a lab test that you apparently requested from the hospital.

Sami: What did Nick say to him?

Celeste: Nothing. But it was obvious that he knew what he was saying. What have you done, Samantha?

Sami: All I did was ask Nick for a copy of a blank lab report. That's all.

Celeste: For what, so you can fill it out yourself? That's how you're gonna fool E.J.?

Sami: I'm gonna make it show that Lucas is the father. It'll look completely legit, and then that would be the end of this.

Celeste: No, darling, that will be the end of you. I'm telling you, Samantha, E.J. is on top of this. And when he finds out that you tried to trick him, he will destroy you.

Shawn D.: She's finally conked out.

Belle: Thank you. I really don't know what I would do without you.

Shawn D.: You know, I've been doing some thinking.

Belle: About?

Shawn D.: About all these arguments, these misunderstandings we've been having. They're all my fault.

Belle: Shawn, no, they're not.

Shawn D.: Yes, Belle, they are. I keep anticipating and expecting things from you that I shouldn't. It's not fair to you. I'm not gonna put the pressure on you or us anymore. So from now on, we're gonna live for Claire. And everything beyond her needs, we live for ourselves.

Chelsea: He's coming to take me to jail.

Billie: No, he is not. He's just coming to get a statement from you.

Chelsea: That's supposed to make me feel better? He's coming to interrogate me, Mom, my own father. He's not gonna believe anything I say.

Billie: Hope believes you.

Hope: I just thought of a way I might be able to help you.

Chelsea: How?

Hope: By checking out a hunch. I'll be back as soon as I can, hopefully before Bo.

Billie: That's great. Listen, Chelsea, I know that I told you that I would be with you when you made your statement, but if you'd rather I wasn't there --

Chelsea: No, Mom, I want you there. I need you.

Sami: E.J. Wells doesn't scare me.

Celeste: He scares me. He came to see me, Samantha, asking questions about what the two of us had been up to. Yeah, he even knew that we had met in the ladies' room at the Penthouse Grill.

Sami: This is why you can't be here right now. You have to go.

Celeste: I am trying to warn you. You can't fool him. I am in this right along with you, so surely you can see what you have to do, Samantha.

Sami: Celeste, the only thing that I have to do is plan a new wedding. That's exactly what I have to do.

Celeste: Don't walk away from me. Do you hear what I'm saying to you, girl? That bastard from hell deserves to die!

All: Surprise!

Chelsea: If you want someone to blame this arson on, fine, blame me. I'm always gonna be your favorite target. But just know that this time you're wrong.

Philip: I don't want to miss out on being a part of my own family.

Lucas: I don't care what you want.

Gabby: Shawn, you're killing him, quit!

Sami: I'm going back to the party.

E.J.: You're not going anywhere until I find out how you and that third-rate gypsy are planning on murdering me.
