Nick: What's wrong?

Abby: Max and I got in a fight, and I came back to apologize, but the garage is dark.

Nick: Oh, well... um... maybe he just went home for the night.

Abby: No, his car is still here, and so is Mimi's. I called the office, but I got a recording saying the number's been out of service. And I tried calling their cellphones, but I got both their voice mails. Then I decided to use my keys to look around a bit, but the lights won't turn on. It's like the electricity's been cut.

Nick: I think you might have seen a little too many horror movies.

Abby: No, I'm serious, Nick. I'm scared.

Nick: Do you know where the fuse is?

Abby: No.

Nick: I'm gonna go find the fuse. You stay here, okay?

Abby: Okay, hurry.

Sami: Isn't this totally cool? I mean, I can't believe it. It's so crazy. Kate and E.J. want me to be the face of all their products for Mythic.

Lucas: [Unenthusiastically] Yeah, totally cool. I'm so proud of you, Sami.

Sami: Give me a break, Lucas. Can't you be happy for me?

Lucas: I am happy for you. I just don't trust E.J. as far as I could throw him. I wish I could throw him out the window and prove my point.

Sami: Are you jealous?

Lucas: Maybe I would be if we were back together. If we were sleeping together, I might be a little jealous, yeah.

Sami: I feel the same way.

Lucas: Well, then --

Sami: Believe me. I promise we'll make it right. And in the meantime, you don't have to worry about --

E.J.: Samantha, I need you to go home and pack your bags, please. We're going to Alabama this evening.

Bo: Ba ba ba ba ba boo do do do do do do-do do-do-do do do ooh. Do oh, man. Do do do do "travel itinerary -- Patrick Lockhart, Hope Brady." What the --

Hope: What's taking so long? Bo.

Willow: Merry Christmas. I was walking past a secondhand store on market street, and I saw this in the window. I couldn't resist. I got a great deal on the decorations -- lights, garland, tinsel, and this star for the top.

Shawn D.: I can't do this anymore, Willow. I need the apartment to myself.

Willow: What?

Shawn D.: I owe it to Claire, and I owe it to Belle. We're done.

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of our Lives.

Hope: Hey. I've been calling you. What's going on? I thought you were bringing the wa-- oh, God.

Bo: Mm-hmm. So [Chuckles] Lockhart stopped by, huh?

Hope: I was trying to find the right way to tell you. I'm only going away with him because he blackmailed me into promising I would.

Bo: Yeah, yeah, I know. That's the only reason he dropped the charges against me.

Hope: I made it clear that if I did go away, nothing was gonna happen -- not now, not ever again.

Bo: So, what? I'm not supposed to do anything about this? I'm not supposed to try to protect you?

Willow: I should have guessed this was coming.

Shawn D.: Come on. We both knew that we would end up here one day. It wasn't gonna be forever. It was just a...thing, right? No strings attached.

Willow: Right. Just a thing. You sure liked the sex, though, didn't you, even when you were lying through your teeth to your precious little naive Belle about us? As guilty as you felt, you never felt guilty enough to say no to me, did you?

Shawn D.: Maybe not. But things, they've changed now.

Willow: So, what am I supposed to do, smile and wish you good luck?

Shawn D.: Come on, Willow. Please, can we just not make this a big deal?

Willow: This is a big deal, Shawn -- a very big deal. Sex with johns -- that's not a big deal, but that's not what this was. Or was it? Did you think you were just getting a bunch of freebies?

Shawn D.: No, come on. Of course not. You know that, that's not how this was.

Willow: Then I have earned my right to be angry, and you have earned the right to shut up and take what's coming to you.

Sami: What do you mean we're going to Alabama tonight?

E.J.: I mean Mythic is having a sales conference in Talladega.

Sami: Right, I know.

E.J.: So, I need you there to help us get sponsorship for our racing team, Sami.

Sami: [Sighs] E.J., you can't just expect me to pack up and leave town on a moment's notice.

E.J.: You're a partner in Mythic. You don't have a choice.

Lucas: The hell she doesn’t. I knew something like this would happen. I called it. I knew it.

Sami: Lucas, please don’t. Let me --

Lucas: No, it's the truth. He's waited till the last minute just to catch you off guard. Then he's gonna butter you up with compliments about how great you're doing, what a great job. Then he's gonna give you a couple drinks.

Sami: Lucas.

Lucas: Might even end up in his hotel room.

Sami: What?

Lucas: Then he'll go after what he's always wanted since the day he came to Salem.

Sami: Don’t.

Lucas: That's you in his bed.

Nick: Okay, there was a blown fuse, so I put a penny behind it. We're gonna go inside. We're gonna see if the lights work and hope that we didn't start a fire.

Abby: You're kidding, right?

Nick: There's always a chance with electrical problems.

Abby: Nick.

Nick: A slim one. Come on. Give me the keys.

Abby: No, wait.

Nick: What?

Abby: This could be dangerous.

Nick: Abby, I told you, the chances of a fire are like a billion to one.

Abby: No, I don't mean that. There was this black van pulling in and out of the lot all afternoon, and Max went out to check on it. But whoever was driving just took off, so he couldn't see who it was.

Nick: What, so we could be walking into a trap?

Abby: I don't know. Maybe. What if that same person came back? What if something horrible happened to Max?

Nick: The whole place is quiet. There's not a van anywhere in sight.

Abby: No, Nick --

Nick: We're gonna go in. We're gonna see if the lights work, and if they don't, we'll leave and we'll call the cops, okay?

Hope: If I thought for a second I couldn't handle Patrick, I would ask for your help. But wait a second. I'm not just your wife. I'm a cop. Bo, I'm trained to deal with dangerous situations.

Bo: Lockhart's more than a dangerous situation.

Hope: It doesn't matter. I will not let you put yourself in the middle of this.

Bo: I am in the middle of this, Hope. I'm your husband, for God's sake.

Hope: You cannot afford another mistake.

Bo: The mistake would be letting you go away with him. If he gets you out of the country, God knows what --

Hope: I bet this trip isn't even gonna happen. I bet he's just probably trying to get under my skin, and when he realizes that he can't, the whole trip -- he's just gonna call it off.

Bo: What if he does go through with this, Hope? He takes you away someplace. I can't reach you. You get in trouble. What then?

Hope: All right, then -- then I go to Cabo, and I'll be back before you know it. And it'll be over.

Bo: No, Hope, it won't be over if he doesn't bring you back to the country, if he doesn't let you come back to the country.

Hope: I cannot break this promise. If he reinstates those charges, you go to jail, and I cannot deal with that.

Bo: [Sighs]

Hope: Bo, please. Let me handle it, please. Just trust that I can deal with Patrick, okay? Okay? Can you do that?

Shawn D.: Okay, fine. I'm a total jerk, all right? Just tell me off and get it over with.

Willow: Forget it. You're not worth the breath. But just remember this -- Belle isn't gonna make you happy.

Shawn D.: You don't even know her.

Willow: Oh, little miss perfect never utters a bad word about anyone. Everybody thinks she's as sweet as apple pie. But you know what? Inside, those apples are rotten. They're sour, and so is she. I have met a million Belles -- women who never stand up for themselves, women who are only too happy to have someone else take care of them. And they will always find a sucker who will. She is going to destroy you.

Shawn D.: You have no right to judge me or Belle. We just want to be good parents.

Willow: You have some idiotic fairy-tale image about how you're gonna be this perfect little family, you and Belle and Claire, but that's not going to happen.

Shawn D.: Yeah, well, you are not exactly an expert on happy families.

Willow: Don't you see? You're digging a hole for yourself, Shawn. And one day, you're gonna wake up and find that hole is so deep, you can't even see the sun or smell the fresh air because you're trying to be someone that you're not.

Shawn D.: You don't even really even know me.

Willow: Yes, I do. You like to take chances and live on the edge. You like fast cars and danger and women who are fierce and independent. And that's not Belle. That's why we hooked up in the first place, and deep down, you know it.

Shawn D.: My marriage had just ended. I needed to get Mimi out of my system, and now I have. I'm sorry, but Belle is the one that I want to be with.

Willow: Cool, then go to her. Deny who you are. But you know what? Don't come crawling back to me when you're under her dark cloud that she carries with her everywhere because I'm finished!

E.J.: I'm not getting into this with you, Lucas. Samantha chose to become a partner in Mythic. I can't help it if our work interferes with your sense of propriety, so please stop whining and grow up.

Lucas: Again with the insults, huh?

Sami: Lucas, let's just not do this, okay?

Lucas: You're not going anywhere with this guy -- not Talladega, not anywhere.

E.J.: This is a business trip, Lucas, and I can assure you, I will be a perfect gentleman.

Lucas: Like you were when you tried to rape her -- that perfect, you mean?

E.J.: I already explained myself, and I promised that it won't happen again. And it won't because I'm a man of my word. However, if you don't trust me, why don't you come along, too, on me?

Abby: You are incredibly brave, Nick.

Nick: Trust me, if there's even a hint of trouble, I'll be screaming like a girl and heading for the hills.

Abby: Liar.

Nick: Come on. Where's the light switch?

Abby: It's -- it's

Nick: Where's the light switch?!

Abby: It's somewhere on the wall, Nick.

Nick: Can you please hurry up and find it? Dark places creep me out ever since I was a little kid.

Abby: You were serious about not being brave.

Nick: I know. I told you. I don't like creepy places like this, so please hurry up.

Abby: I found it. Oh, my God.

Nick: We better go check the office.

Abby: Where are Max and Mimi?

Sami: I can't believe this, E.J. You just asked Lucas to go with us to Talladega?

E.J.: Mm-hmm.

Lucas: Why can't you believe that?

Sami: You work for the competition.

E.J.: Samantha, if I'm not worried about the two of you sharing corporate secrets over breakfast, why would I worry about this?

Sami: It doesn't matter anyway because Lucas doesn't have the time.

Lucas: Actually, Victor owes me a few days off, honey. I got time.

E.J.: Great. Okay, then it is settled. I'll have Peggy make the necessary travel arrangements. If you'll excuse me, I have to go meet a friend before I leave. Oh, and don't worry about getting a car to the airport. I will send a limo.

Lucas: Ooh, nice. Limo service. Not bad.

Sami: What just happened?

Lucas: I don't know, but I think I'll call my mom, make sure she can keep an eye on Will for us.

Sami: Wait a second. No, Lucas, you are not coming with us to Talladega.

Roman: All right, Abby, can you tell me anything more about that black van?

Abby: Thanks. No, it was just a van.

Roman: Can you remember the make, model?

Abby: No, but I'm pretty sure that the windows were tinted.

Roman: All right, all right. Do you remember any part of the license-plate number?

Abby: No.

Nick: Sometimes if you close your eyes and you try to visualize it, your brain can actually retrieve those kinds of details. See, it stores everything like a computer, and it hides away certain seemingly unimportant information. But if you can access those hidden files, it becomes a lot easier --

Roman: Nick, look, I know you mean well, okay? And I can't explain brain-wave functions, but I have been a cop for a while, so just let me do what I do, okay?

Nick: Okay.

Roman: All right, thank you.

Nick: Sorry.

Abby: I didn't see the license plate.

Roman: Can you think of anybody that might have had it in for Max -- an irate customer, maybe, or somebody who might have been after Mimi?

Abby: I don't know. She convinced Max to go help her find Philip Kiriakis. Maybe they made the wrong person mad.

Bo: Hope, this is one hell of a thing you're asking me to do. I can't just sit back and do nothing.

Hope: Brady, I want us to be together forever. We've already worked through all the Billie stuff. This -- Brady, this is the last hurdle. Please let me take care of Patrick, and then we won't have anything else to worry about. You do trust me, don't you?

Bo: Of course I trust you. It's not -- Hope, listen. This goes against everything that I've --

Hope: Please.

Bo: All right, okay, okay, okay. I love you. If this is something you got to do, then okay.

Hope: Thank you.

Bo: On one condition -- you feel like things are going badly, your instincts tell you something's not right, you call me.

Hope: I'll call you, I promise.

Bo: Immediately.

Hope: Immediately.

Bo: Okay. [Knock on door] Why is somebody at the door?

Hope: Who could that be so late?

Bo: I don't know.

Hope: My gosh, it's very late.

Bo: Willow.

Willow: I need to talk to you now.

Hope: I'm sorry, but this really isn't a very good time. My husband and I --

Willow: Your son just dumped me out of nowhere. He marched in and said it was over, and I want to know what you're gonna do about it.

E.J.: Shawn, excuse me for being late. I'm awfully sorry. I have to fly out of town later this evening. I have a few loose ends to tidy up.

Shawn D.: That's okay.

E.J.: Did you order anything?

Shawn D.: No, I didn’t.

E.J.: Good. Please allow me to treat you to a little bit of supper, eh?

Shawn D.: You know, I'm not hungry. I called you 'cause I needed to talk to you.

E.J.: Oh, you know what? Actually, I need to talk to you, too. There's an important message I have for you to deliver to Patrick. There we go. You got a problem? Oh, of course. I'm so sorry. Silly me. I almost forgot. There we are. You can always count on me to pay you, unlike Patrick. You might want to pick that up, dear boy, before the waiter thinks it's a tip.

Shawn D.: I can't work for you anymore, E.J.

Roman: All right, tell me something. Did Max ever mention anything about Victor Kiriakis to you?

Abby: No, why? You don't think Victor had something to do with them being kidnapped, do you?

Roman: Abby, come on. We don't know they were kidnapped. Hell, we don't even know if they were here.

Abby: Well, then why are their cars outside?

Roman: Well, that's what we're here to find out. Excuse me.

Officer: We sent a squad car to the Lockhart house. Mimi's mother says she hasn't seen or heard from her daughter since she left to meet Max here at the garage.

Roman: All right, what about Max?

Officer: No sign of him at his apartment or at any of his usual haunts.

Roman: All right, thank you.

Officer: Anytime, sir.

Abby: They really have been kidnapped, haven't they? Or maybe worse.

Roman: Oh, excuse me, all right? I got to go talk to my dad.

Nick: I think I should take you home.

Abby: No, I'm not going anywhere, not until I know where Max is.

Nick: Hey, hey. It's gonna be okay.

Abby: I told you we had a fight before. I said some awful things to him. What if I'm never gonna be able to say I'm sorry?

Lucas: All right, Sami, why don't you want me to go with you and E.J., huh? Tell me the truth.

Sami: I just accepted this position as a partner in Mythic, and this is my chance to prove myself. I have to prove that I can really do it, and this sales conference is my first chance to make a good impression.

Lucas: I am not gonna get in your way at the conference, all right? I'll support you. I'll root you on.

Sami: Yeah, so, now I'm the new executive shackled to her jealous boyfriend, who happens to work for the competition and who doesn't trust her enough to let her out of his sight?

Lucas: I never said that, all right?

Sami: You may as well have. You said that I'm so spineless that a couple of compliments and some drinks from E.J. and I'll jump into bed with him? Lucas, is that really what you think of me?

Hope: I know you're upset. Let me get you something to drink.

Willow: You think I'm pathetic, don't you, venting to you like this?

Hope: I think you're hurt and angry.

Willow: I know I'm not the most popular person in Salem because of my past. I know that neither of you like me. I hear the talk. But I thought Shawn was different. Shawn said that he didn't care about what anybody said about me, and I believed him. But now he's made some stupid promises to Belle, and just like that, I'm history.

Bo: What do you expect us to do about this? Shawn's a grown man. We don't interfere in his personal life.

Willow: Give me a break. You're all over his personal life. That's why he moved into the "Y" with me in the first place.

Bo: You know what? I'm not gonna discuss my family issues with you, young lady.

Willow: Because I'm right?

Hope: Willow -- Bo, why don't I have a word alone with Willow?

Willow: Your husband hated me since the first day he met me. But I love your son.

Hope: I'm sure you do. And I'm very sorry that you got hurt, but there's really nothing I can do about this. Willow, you knew all along that Belle and Shawn have a baby together.

Willow: So what? You're having a baby, and you're not rushing to be with the father.

E.J.: You can't work for me anymore.

Shawn D.: Look, I am grateful for everything that you've done for me. If you hadn't given me that job, I wouldn't have my own place and I wouldn't have my daughter back in my life. But now she is, and I just --

E.J.: How exactly is it that you think you're going to keep your place without a job?

Shawn D.: I'll find something else. I know it's not gonna pay as much, but -- look, E.J., I appreciate everything that you've done for me. I just think that it's time that I move on.

E.J.: Why?

Shawn D.: I don't feel comfortable. People don't pay messengers the type of money that you're paying me. I don't know what I'm involved in, and I don't like it.

E.J.: So instead of coming to me, instead of asking me, you just decide that you're going to quit?

Shawn D.: My dad tells me that I need to be careful.

E.J.: Your dad? Shawn, I thought I employed a man, not some little boy who needs his daddy's approval for everything he does.

Shawn D.: E.J., I am not saying that you're doing anything illegal. But if my dad's right and there's something going on that is sketchy, I can't take that chance.

E.J.: Sketchy, eh? You think there's something sketchy going on because your daddy says so?

Shawn D.: No, because if you had nothing to hide, you would tell me what's in those envelopes that I keep delivering back and forth between you and Patrick.

E.J.: And you think I should.

Shawn D.: E.J., you are a hell of a driver, and I have tons of respect for everything that you've accomplished on the racetrack. That's why I came to you asking you for a job. And I was thrilled when you gave me one, but I thought it would be as a mechanic. I didn't think that I would be dealing with Patrick Lockhart.

E.J.: What difference does that make?

Shawn D.: Because I hate the guy. It makes me crazy just to have to look at him. So because of that and everything else, I think it would be best if I just stopped working for you.

Roman: Pop, you didn't have to come down here. I was gonna come over to the pub and fill you and ma in.

Shawn: Your mother's beside herself, and I told her I'd come down, see what I could find out. I promised her that Max was okay, but he's not, is he?

Roman: Pop, we don't know what happened here, okay? It could be just a prank, somebody having fun at our expense.

Shawn: This don't look like a prank to me.

Roman: Well, you know what? We don't even know that they were here when the place was ransacked, all right? Max and Mimi -- they could be out to a movie somewhere. Pop, listen to me, all right?

Shawn: All right.

Roman: I promise you we will get to the bottom of this. We are gonna find them.

Nick: What were you and Max fighting about?

Abby: It was stupid. I was upset about the van, and...

Nick: And?

Abby: Max finally admitted to me that he likes Mimi.

Nick: Oh.

Abby: And that means he's not interested in anyone else -- in me.

Nick: Hey. I think... I think once Max is back and safe that you guys need to sit down, and you need to tell him how you feel.

Abby: No, Max knows how I feel. Everybody does. He just treats me like some little kid with a crush. He doesn't take me seriously, and he never will.

Hope: Wow, you've done quite a bit of research into my personal life, haven't you?

Willow: No, it's just that Shawn and I talk about everything. We don't keep secrets from each other.

Hope: Then you know how much Shawn has always loved Belle.

Willow: She's no good for him. The only reason why he's trying to get back together with her is because he thinks that's gonna make you and your husband and everybody else in the family happy. Poor little Belle -- wouldn't it be nice if Shawn saw how perfect --

Hope: Okay, stop. Willow, stop right there. Belle is like a member of this family, and I will not stand here and listen to you talk about her this way.

Willow: Fine, I don't want to talk about her.

Hope: Okay, fine, then what do you want? What do you want?

Willow: For you to do what's right for your son. You need to tell him he needs to live his own life, not the one that he thinks will make his parents happy. You needed to tell him what's most important to you is his happiness. And if what makes him happy is me, then he should go for it. Would you do that, not for me -- for Shawn?

E.J.: Shawn, what exactly is it that you think you've been passing between me and Patrick?

Shawn D.: I'd rather not even think about it.

E.J.: Come on. You just told me you don't want to get into trouble by working for me. All you do is deliver envelopes, so it stands to reason that you must think you're delivering something illegal or immoral. What do you think's in here, huh, government secrets? Cocaine? I don't know.

Shawn D.: I don't care because I'm not doing it anymore.

E.J.: Well, let's see, shall we? Here, let's take a look and see what job you turned down. Let's see what your high moral standards prevented you from doing today. There we go. I'll give you a clue. It's not blueprints for a nuclear bomb. It's -- look -- business figures, handwritten by me to Patrick, okay? Shawn, I think you need to stop listening to other people and learn to grow up a little bit. You need to take responsibility for yourself, for God's sake.

Lucas: Listen, you know my track record with relationships, all right? Carrie cheated on me. Nicole freakin' cheated on me. And you --

Sami: You thought that I had cheated on you.

Lucas: Yes, I did. And I was wrong, and I'm sorry about that. And I'm sure you'd do great at the sales convention. This is not what this is about.

Sami: Then what is it about?

Lucas: It's about E.J. He attacked you in your own apartment, damn it. And then my mom -- I got my mom in my ear telling me that he wants you to have his baby.

Sami: Your mother is making that up.

Lucas: No, I don't think she is. I think she's telling the truth this time.

Sami: You always think she's telling the truth, Lucas, and she is always wrong.

Lucas: What the hell am I supposed to do, huh? Why don't you put yourself in my shoes just for a second? What if there was a hot girl slobbering all over me at Titan, telling everybody she wanted to have my baby and then Victor wanted us to go on a business trip together? What would you do then, huh?

Sami: I would destroy the bitch.

Lucas: Exactly, and it wouldn't have anything to do whether you trusted me or not. So don't tell me I can't go to Talladega with you and E.J.

Sami: You know, you're right, Lucas. If the situation were reversed and you were going away with some hot chick, you better believe I'd be on that plane with you and attached to your hip the whole time, whether you liked it or not.

Lucas: Yeah, well, I'd like it, believe me.

Sami: I'm asking you to be a bigger person than I could be.

Lucas: I'm trying, Sami. It's just not that easy for me.

Sami: I know it's not, but we have to learn to trust each other eventually, right? If we're gonna have an adult relationship, we have to learn to love and support each other, even when it's difficult. Please let me go to Talladega for business with E.J. Please let me prove that I am worthy of your trust.

Abby: If I wasn't such a baby and hadn't run away when he told me that he likes Mimi, I could have been there when they came back. I could have had the chance to warn Max before they tried to hurt him.

Nick: More likely, you'd be missing, too, and I'd be the one having to tell Aunt Maggie and call your parents in London.

Abby: Well, I wish I was with him.

Nick: No.

Abby: No matter what's happening to him, no matter where he is.

Nick: No, you don’t.

Abby: Yes, I do. I'd rather die with him than live without him.

Hope: Okay, this conversation is over.

Willow: Because you can't handle it?

Hope: Willow, I have let you into my home. I let you state your case, and I am very sorry that you got hurt, but I will not interfere in this. This is Shawn's life, Shawn's decisions. Good night.

Willow: That's it. That's all I get.

Hope: Good luck and good night.

Willow: You know what? Shawn is gonna be sorry that he treated me this way and so will you.

Bo: Whoa.

Hope: She scares me.

Bo: Yeah. You know, we should call Shawn --

Hope: No, no, no. I said we would not interfere, and I meant it. It's time for Shawn to figure things out on his own.

Bo: Yeah, well, he hasn't been doing so good in that department lately.

Hope: You're right, but you know what? I think he's finally coming to his senses.

Shawn D.: You know, I might regret this one day, but I need to do what's right.

E.J.: How very noble of you.

Shawn D.: E.J., I don't have anything against you. I just don't want to be in business with you anymore, okay? I'm sorry.

E.J.: Sit down. I said sit down. Did you see how I made you do that? It's 'cause you're weak. You're just like your dad.

Shawn D.: Look, that's got nothing to do with --

E.J.: You know what? You want out -- fine. You're out. But listen. And, Shawn, listen good. The business that we did together -- transactions, dates, times -- that's confidential. The money you were paid bought your silence. You got it?

Shawn D.: Yeah, I got it.

E.J.: Good. Now go away. You're spoiling my dessert.

Shawn D.: You know, I'll keep my mouth shut, E.J., but if I find out that my dad is right and that you are dirty, I'm gonna tell him everything I know. And, you know, you're gonna find out just how weak I am.

Willow: Shawn? Shawn? Ugh! You want to end this, Shawn? Okay, let's end it.

Hope: Ooh, it's getting awfully late.

Bo: Want to go to sleep?

Hope: I said it was late. I didn't say I was tired.

Bo: I missed a sign, didn't I?

Hope: Yeah.

Bo: Eesh. What is wrong with me?

Hope: Oh, there's nothing wrong with you. I'm gonna prove it to you.

Nick: Okay? Here.

Abby: Thanks.

Nick: I know you're upset, but you really don't wish you were in that kind of danger.

Abby: I ran away, Nick. I'm a coward.

Nick: I don't think so. Look at what you did tonight. When you showed up here and saw that the lights were off, you could have easily turned around and gone home, but you didn’t. You hung in there. You called me. We called the cops, and now they're on the case.

Abby: But Max is still missing. And wherever he is... he's with Mimi, not me.

Nick: Abby, the police are going to find Max. And when they do, you're gonna be his hero.

Abby: Yeah, right.

Nick: Who gave the police all the facts? Who totally held her own and did everything possible to save Max's life? You can't buy that kind of press. Plus, you're smart and beautiful. I mean, if you weren't my cousin...

Abby: Thanks, Nick, for being here and...for everything.

Nick: Let's go home, okay? By morning, the police will have found Max, and everything will be okay.

Abby: Are you sure?

Nick: I was right about the fuse, wasn't I? Come on, okay?

Lucas: I can't believe I'm actually saying this, but fine. Go. Go to Talladega with E.J. That's fine with me. I'll just support you from afar, I guess.

Sami: Thank you, Lucas. Thank you so much. I really think this is a really big step for us in our relationship.

Lucas: It better be a big step. I'm sick of taking cold showers.

Sami: Me too. Oh, my gosh. I have so much I have to do. I have to pack. I have to get ready. Belle said I could borrow that new dress. Okay, so, that'll be perfect for the -- okay. All right, I have to go. I'll meet you at the apartment. Okay, bye.

Lucas: Victor, it's Lucas. I know it's late. I'm sorry to bother you, but something came up. I'm gonna need a couple of personal days.

Shawn D.: Willow! Willow, can you hear me? Are you in there?

Bo: There's a part of me -- I feel like a failure.

Marlena: No, you're not going in there. John, it's not me. It's you they want. We've got to go before it's too late.

Willow: You wanted a home for your precious daughter. Well, now it's gone. Deal with it.

E.J.: Why don't we go upstairs to my suite, get a bottle of champagne, and we can celebrate your deal as the new face of Mythic, just the two of us? What do you say?
