Billie: Isn't it, just the two of us? We haven't done something like this in a while.
Chelsea: We haven't, have we? So, tell me what's been going on with you in your life that's, I don't know, new.
Billie: Did I miss something?
Chelsea: Oh, no. No, definitely not.
Billie: What are you talking about, Chelsea?
Chelsea: Do you tease dad like this? Is that how you get him into bed?
Chelsea: Sorry. Maybe that was a little too personal.
Billie: No, that was a little bit too inaccurate.
Chelsea: Mom, come on. I saw you two in bed together.
Bo: We didn't really know what to bring, so...
Hope: I grabbed a few things that looked comfortable.
Stephanie: I still don't think I'm ready to be released.
Bo: Most people can't wait to get out of this dump.
Stephanie: Yeah, well, most people's moms aren't under quarantine in critical condition.
Bo: Hey, hey, she's got your dad here.
Stephanie: They both need me.
Hope: They need you to take care of yourself. Honey, the food's terrible here. And I'm not a great cook, but I have a really nice, comfy bed at our house. I'd love for you to stay with us.
Stephanie: I really don't want to leave my mom and dad.
Bo: Why don't you go home with Hope, get a good night's sleep. First thing in the morning, I'll come by, pick you up, and bring you on back so you can visit your folks.
Stephanie: Pick me up? You're not staying with me and Hope?
Kayla: Just put your lips to it and blow.
Steve: What was that, baby?
Kayla: When I asked you how you learned to play, you said you taught yourself. And you said...
Steve: It's easy. You just put your lips to it and blow.
Kayla: That's all there is to it, huh?
Steve: Just put your lips to it and blow.
Kayla: Do you remember that? You're remembering more and more, aren't you?
Steve: I remember some, baby. Not as much as you think. I just hope it's enough.
John: Still losing altitude.
Marlena: John, you've got to do something.
John: I've tried every trick in the book. She's going down. Mayday, Mayday. Hamilton Center, requesting emergency-landing site. Do you read me?
Marlena: John, we can't land. We've got to get this serum to Kayla.
John: Not gonna do it in this plane. Mayday, Hamilton Center, do you read me? We're too heavy, Doc. Nothing we can do now.
Marlena: There is one thing. One of us has to jump.
Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of our Lives.
John: Mayday, Toronto Center, can you read me? This is no time for jokes, Doc.
Marlena: I'm not joking.
John: Nobody's jumping out of this plane.
Marlena: You know it makes sense, John.
John: Maybe in a Bruce Willis movie, but I don't see stunt doubles behind us.
Marlena: We've got to increase our altitude by diminishing our weight.
John: That's a theory.
Marlena: There's no luggage on board. It's just you and me.
John: One little problem with your plan, Doc. I jump, who flies?
Marlena: Okay, well, you're getting my point. We're down to one option.
John: Yeah, which me-- oh, no. No way.
John: No way.
Marlena: John, I have to jump.
Steve: Hey, doc, what's the word?
Dr. Myers: We got your latest blood tests back. You're completely clear of the biotoxin.
Steve: What's that mean?
Dr. Myers: It means you no longer have to be quarantined. You're free to go, Mr. Johnson.
Bo: Hope and I aren't living together right now.
Stephanie: But I thought you guys worked things out after the whole missing disk and everything --
Hope: We're working on it.
Bo: Yeah. We are. And Hope -- she's gonna take great care of you.
Stephanie: Okay, but you're my uncle. And if I have to leave my mom and dad, then I want to be with you.
Bo: Yeah, Stephanie, I don't know what to tell you.
Dr. Berman: May I come in?
Stephanie: Dr. Berman, you know my Uncle Bo.
Dr. Berman: Sure. Good to see you again. If you don't mind, I need to talk to Stephanie before her release.
Hope: We'll be right outside if you need us.
Bo: Stephanie turned into quite the matchmaker, huh?
Hope: I don't know. I think she really meant it when she said how much it would mean to her to have you around.
Bo: Um...well, ma's got another room at the pub. I guess I could take her back there.
Hope: No, no, I don't think that's such a good idea. A lot's going on over there.
Bo: I don't know what other options I have.
Hope: Why don't you move back in with me?
Bo: Move back in...with you...to our house?
Hope: Yeah. Any more questions?
Bo: No. Uh, yeah. Does that mean that --
Hope: This is what's best for Stephanie.
Hope: Yeah. She wants you. She wants you. And she's gonna need both of us, especially if something should happen to Kayla.
Bo: Yeah, right. You're right.
Hope: That is, of course, unless maybe you think this is a bad idea.
Bo: No, no, I think this is a great idea.
Hope: You do?
Bo: Yeah, like you said, for Stephanie, and if you're sure.
Hope: I'm sure.
Bo: Well, good. I'll move in to the guest -- no, that's --
Bo: The couch -- I'll sleep on the couch or --
Hope: The tub.
Bo: Yeah. Kitchen counter.
Hope: Sink. We'll figure it out.
Bo: Yeah. We always do.
Billie: What do you mean you saw Bo and me in bed together?
Chelsea: In his bedroom above the pub.
Billie: Oh, my God, Chelsea, were you spying on us?
Chelsea: No, I wasn't spying. I was hanging out with Abby, and I needed to borrow some money, so I went up to ask dad for some, and, well, I was shocked to find you two together in bed doing it.
Billie: First of all, we weren't doing it. We weren't doing anything.
Chelsea: Mom, I saw you guys in bed together naked.
Billie: We weren't naked. And we didn't have sex.
Chelsea: Right, okay, you were just playing checkers.
Billie: We were consoling each other, Chelsea.
Chelsea: And your clothes just fell off and...
Billie: Bo and I did not have sex. And a lot of people would get hurt if you went around telling everyone that we did.
Chelsea: Mom, a lot of people are gonna be hurt if you and dad don't say that you want to be together.
Billie: Chelsea, you want us together. Bo wants to be with Hope. And I.... I would have liked to have been with Steve.
Chelsea: I thought the one-eyed freak show went back to his wife.
Billie: That doesn't mean we don't still care about each other. And his name is Steve.
Chelsea: Yet he wasn't the one that you were lying in bed with naked. Hmm.
Billie: You know what? I know that at your age, you think you know everything because I thought I knew everything, too. But trust me on this. You donít.
Chelsea: Well, I know that you and dad belong together.
Billie: I think I'm gonna have to tattoo this on your forehead. Your father and I are never going to be together.
Chelsea: But --
Patrick: Sorry to interrupt something, but mind if I talk to you guys for a second?
Chelsea: No, we're finished anyway.
Patrick: Okay, well, it's a little awkward, so I'm just gonna say it. I had some money at home -- a lot of money, actually. And it's missing.
Billie: And you think one of us took it?
Chelsea: No, not one of us. Me.
John: I got a lot on my plate right now, so I'm gonna make this brief. You're not jumping out of that plane.
Marlena: Do you have a better idea?
John: I do. Take this off.
Marlena: Then hurry up, 'cause we're out of time.
John: Here's the plan -- I'm gonna bust through these clouds, and I'm gonna find a place to lay this baby down. With all this snow here, it ought to cushion our landing somewhat. I'll set off a beacon, and we'll be rescued.
Marlena: If we're very, very lucky, but, of course, Kayla will die. We have some other opportunities. Yeah, you could jump. I could land the plane into a mountainside. No, that won't do. How about if you land and crash-land and everybody dies, including Kayla? Or maybe what if I jump out, you get the serum, we all live happily ever after, hmm?
John: One man who won't be happy.
Marlena: He will be. He will be when this is over.
John: Baby, you can't do this.
Marlena: John, I can't not.
Steve: Are you saying you want me to check out of here?
Dr. Myers: The sooner, the better.
Steve: No can do.
Dr. Myers: But you're cured.
Steve: But Kayla isnít. I can't leave her in here alone. She needs me.
Dr. Myers: We have no idea when or if that new antidote's going to arrive.
Steve: I'm going nowhere.
Dr. Myers: Your daughter is. She's being released tonight. She's going to need you.
Steve: Kayla's brother and his wife are gonna take care of her. Besides, Stephanie wants me here with her mom. You ask her. She'll tell you that.
Dr. Myers: Mr. Johnson, I don't think you understand.
Steve: No, dude, you don't understand. If I leave, Kayla could die.
Dr. Myers: If you stay, you could die.
Billie: Chelsea, Patrick isn't accusing anyone.
Chelsea: Sure, he is. He thinks that I took his money and then used it to go partying with all my friends. I mean, here I was hitting up Grandma Caroline for 10 bucks when I could have been rich.
Patrick: If you know anything about it -- if you borrowed it or something --
Chelsea: You mean if I stole it.
Patrick: I need to know what happened to it.
Chelsea: Look, Patrick, I don't know what happened to your little stash of money, okay? But if I were you, I'd be a lot less concerned about a few bucks I lost and a little bit more concerned about Hope.
Patrick: What are you talking about? What, did something happen to her?
Chelsea: No, my dad wants to get back together with her.
Patrick: She doesn't want to get back together with him.
Chelsea: I wouldn't be so sure about that. You know what? You're really not helping, either. You're wandering around town trying to scrape up some spare cash. Meanwhile, Bo and Hope are probably off together somewhere alone. You're such a loser.
Billie: Chelsea, that's enough.
Chelsea: Fine. But I'm not the one that's gonna end up alone. That would be you two. If you'll excuse me, I lost my appetite.
Billie: [Chuckles] I am so sorry.
Patrick: You know, forget it. I shouldn't have brought up the money, I guess.
Billie: No, no, no, we're all just a little stressed out right now, you know?
Patrick: Yeah, tell me about it. You know what? I got to run, but I'll catch you back at the house, okay?
Billie: All right.
Patrick: All right.
Billie: Good luck with the cash.
Patrick: Thank you. I need it. Hope, it's Patrick. Yeah, I saw you at the hospital a minute ago, but I'm just worried about you. Could you give me a call back? Try my cellphone.. If I'm not there, just give me a ring at the house, okay? All right.
Steve: What do you mean I could die? You just said I was cured.
Dr. Myers: You're free of the biotoxin, yes, but if you stay in there, you could get reinfected.
Steve: So you give me another shot of the antidote.
Dr. Myers: Your immune system's compromised. If you're exposed again, your body may not be able to fight it, no matter what we do.
Steve: Yeah, but I could stay in here and be just fine, right?
Dr. Myers: Not a chance I'd be willing to take.
Steve: Well, it's a good thing you're not on this side of the glass then..
Dr. Myers: Mr. Johnson, I know you're starting to get your memory back. You've missed out on a lot of years with your wife, and you feel responsible for her.
Steve: I can't leave her.
Dr. Myers: You want to stay? Stay. But if something goes wrong...
Steve: You're off the hook, doc. You want me to sign something? I will.
Dr. Myers: I admire your courage.
Bo: Hey, doc. How's Kay? Any change?
Dr. Myers: No.
Bo: Steve. Hey, man.
Steve: Hey, Bo. Did you get word from John and Marlena?
Bo: No, no, I'm sorry, not yet. Hope's upstairs with Stephanie, helping her get her stuff together. We're gonna take her home with us tonight.
Steve: I appreciate that, man. She needs family right now.
Bo: Yeah. How you holding up?
Steve: Oh. I could use a beer.
Bo: They're on me. Once you guys are out of here, we'll toss a couple back for you and Kay.
Steve: Yeah, that sounds good. Hey, Bo, listen, I hate to ask you this, but could you do me a favor?
Bo: Sure. Name it.
Steve: I need to talk to Billie. I want to try to make her understand.
Bo: Look, Steve, she's having a hard time with this, but I think she understands.
Steve: No, I don't think she does, man. You just tell her I need to see her. Will you do that?
Bo: All right, I'll do the best I can.
Bo: Hey, Steve... tell her we're all -- just tell her we love her, okay?
Steve: I will. Hey. Okay. It's okay. Your brother was just here. He said everybody loves you. Everybody loves you.
John: I can give you a million reasons why you shouldn't jump out of this plane, Doc.
Marlena: No time.
John: I'll give you three. It's dark, it's freezing, and we don't know where the hell we are. You could be jumping into Lake Michigan.
Marlena: We could crash in Lake Michigan. I know you don't want me to hurt myself, but I've done this before, remember? Now, listen, I've got my cellphone. It's got a gps device on it, so you can track where I land. Get the coordinates when I jump and send the search-and-rescue team for me. It'll be fine, John.
John: I can land this plane, damn it. We're a team. You said so yourself.. I'm not gonna argue with you anymore. Doc, I'm not gonna risk losing the one person I love more than anyone in this world.
Marlena: All right, all right.
John: It's just that I love you so much.
Marlena: I love you, too. All right, it's okay.
John: I love you. It's settled, then.
Marlena: It's settled. It's settled.
John: Okay. All right. Thank you. Doc -- Doc, no! Doc, no, no!
Stephanie: Aunt Hope, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings before.
Hope: Oh, sweetie, don't worry about it. You're close to your Uncle Bo. I understand that.
Stephanie: Are you sure you're okay with him moving back in?
Hope: Yeah, I'm okay with it.
Stephanie: Do you think the two of you might get back together?
Hope: Your Uncle Bo and I still have a lot to work out.
Stephanie: Yeah, but you could work it out, right?
Hope: Yeah. Yeah, we could.
Stephanie: Well, I hope you do because he really loves you, and I think you really love him.
Hope: You know, when I was your age, I thought that love was enough.
Stephanie: Yeah, yeah, but life gets complicated. I've heard it before.
Hope: Well, you know what? You'll find out for yourself.
Stephanie: You know what? I will never stop believing in love, not yours and Uncle Bo's and not my mom and dad's.
Hope: The world needs more people like you.
Stephanie: I'm gonna go get the rest of the stuff out of the bathroom.
Hope: Okay. [Knock on door] Patrick.
Patrick: Hey, there you are. I've been calling you. What, you don't answer your cellphone anymore?
Hope: No, I shut it off when I came back to the hospital.
Patrick: I was worried about you. I thought maybe something had happened..
Hope: Patrick, we just saw each other a little while ago. Remember, I told you I was gonna have dinner with Bo at the Brady Pub and we'd talk tomorrow.
Patrick: Yeah, I know, I know. But you looked tired. I just wanted to make sure you were okay.
Hope: You know, why don't we -- let's talk outside.
Patrick: Okay, so, what's up?
Hope: Well, I'm fine. It's Stephanie. She's a little shaky. She's been released from the hospital, so I'm gonna take her home with me.
Patrick: Let me help you.
Hope: No, no, that's okay. I'm good.
Patrick: Come on, you shouldn't do this by yourself.
Hope: I'm not. I've asked Bo to move back in with me.
John: Listen, I don't care how bad the storm is or how short you are of manpower. My wife is out there in the middle of nowhere, and I want you to find her. Affirmative. I am positive I gave you the right coordinates. Yeah, well, search again. Why don't you try expanding -- listen, you do have land and air crews out there looking for her, don't you? Hold on a second. Yeah.
Nurse: This arrived for you from the Gentech Clinic. It's the medicine you're supposed to deliver.
John: Just leave it there.
Nurse: They said it's really important that it stay cold. Otherwise, it'll spoil.
John: I don't care what the cost is.
Nurse: Did you hear what I said?
John: Yeah, keep it cold. Got it. No. Listen, you don't understand. I don't care what the cost is. I don't care what you have to do. Call the Mounties in if you have to. Just find her.
Marlena: Help! Can anybody see me? Can anyone hear me? Aah! Aah, aah, aah. Oh. Oh. Okay, this feels like a sprain. It's okay. It's okay. Anybody... oh, no. My phone.. I must have lost it in the fall. I've got to keep moving. Aah! Aah, aah, aah. Okay. Okay. I'll just rest first. I'll just rest...first.
Patrick: Bo is moving back in with you?
Hope: Stephanie needs him.
Patrick: So why doesn't she move into his place?
Hope: She needs both of us.
Patrick: Is that what Bo said?
Hope: No, this was my idea.
Hope: I asked Bo to move back in.
Patrick: Wait a minute. I am definitely missing something here.
Hope: Patrick, it's what I told you. We're doing this for Stephanie. There's nothing more to it.
Patrick: You expect me to buy that.
Hope: I expect you not to grill me.
Patrick: Something's going on. What happened between now and two hours ago?
Hope: Stephanie was released from the hospital.
Patrick: Hope, come on. You are having my baby. At least be honest with me.
Hope: I better get Stephanie home.
Patrick: Hold on a second. Bo falsified evidence against me. He was arrested for assaulting me. Basically, he's trying to ruin my life. Now you're telling me he's moving back in with you, and you won't even return my phone calls. Something is going on here, and I'm not leaving until you tell me what it is.
Bo: May I sit?
Billie: Go right ahead, but if Mr. Right shows up, you better duck.
Bo: [Laughs] Are you expecting him?
Billie: I'm always expecting him.
Billie: Hey, I'm actually glad you're here because I need to talk to you about something.
Bo: Uh-oh, don't like the sound of that.
Billie: Yeah, well, you're not gonna like what I have to say, either. I ran into our daughter earlier.
Bo: Oh, man, what did she do this time?
Billie: It's not what she did. It's what she saw -- the two of us in bed together. And she jumped to the not-so-farfetched conclusion --
Bo: I get the picture. You set her straight, right?
Billie: Yeah, well, I tried to. Don't worry. I told her not to say anything.
Bo: Yeah. Great. She better not 'cause hope and I are starting to patch things up.
Bo: Listen... Steve would like to talk to you.
Bo: Hey, come on, give him a chance.
Billie: No, what's the point, so he can tell me how much he loves Kayla?
Bo: No, so he can explain. Look, you owe it to him, and you owe it to yourself just to find out what he has to say.
Kayla: I'm so tired. No, no, no, no, no, don't let go.
Steve: Okay. It's okay. I just thought it might help you if you sat up. Come here. There, baby. There we go. There we go. How's that, hmm?
Kayla: Better. What time is it?
Steve: Oh, 7:00, 7:30, I think.
Kayla: Morning or night?
Steve: It's night.
Kayla: Everything's all mixed up. I don't know.
Steve: Yeah, yeah, I know. I know what you mean.
Kayla: I remember coming to the hospital, and Stephanie had that accident. Stephanie --
Steve: No, no, no, no, it's okay. Stephanie's okay. She's going home.
Steve: Yeah. Bo and Hope are taking her home. They're gonna take care of her.
Kayla: But she needs her mom. She needs her mom. I should be there for her.
Steve: Yeah, but when you get better, you're gonna be there for her, aren't you? Hmm?
Kayla: What if I don't get better?
Steve: Hey. Hey. None of that negative talk. John and Marlena are gonna get back here with that antidote. You're gonna be good as new. You hear me?
Kayla: I'm a doctor, Steve. I know not everybody gets a happy ending.
Steve: Yeah. Well, we will.
Kayla: I want to give you that. That's what I'm fighting for.
Billie: I think I owe myself a shot at happiness.
Bo: Well, yeah, so do I.
Billie: So, what's the point if I go see Steve? It's all been said. I know how I feel. And I know how he feels. And, you know, quite honestly, I'm not gonna dwell on it. I knew they were gonna get back together again. It hurts too much for me to think about it, so Iím not gonna go see him. So, if you would do me a favor, tell Steve I can't, but I wish he and Kayla all the best. I do.
Bo: Okay. I'll tell him.
Billie: Okay. So, enough about me. What's going on with you and Hope?
Bo: [Laughs] She asked me to move back in.
Billie: Great! Yay!
Bo: That is amazing news. Now all we have to do is get Kayla well.
Chelsea: Mom, Dad, something terrible's happened.
Steve: Shh. It's okay. I told you she's all right.
Kayla: Your little sweetness.
Steve: Yeah, she is.
Kayla: That's what you said. Do you remember February 19th?
Doctor: Don't push, Kayla. Wait.
Kayla: I have to. I have to.
Doctor: Okay, now, Kayla. Now push.
Steve: Go, go, go, go, go, go. You can do it. You can do it, girl. Yes, you can.
Doctor: Here comes the head.
Steve: Here comes the head.
Doctor: Good, good, a little more.
Steve: Keep going, baby. Come on. Come on.
Doctor: Shoulders. All right.
Steve: You're almost there, baby. Almost there. There you go.
Doctor: Yes, you got it. You got it.
Steve: What's happening?
Doctor: A girl. A beautiful, healthy, perfect baby girl. She's gorgeous.
Kayla: Oh, it's a girl.
Kayla: Steve... Steve... I love you.
Steve: I love you. I love you so much, sweetness. It's a little girl. It's a little girl. That's my little sweetness.
Steve: February 19th... that's the day Stephanie was born.
Kayla: We had so many dreams. They all slipped away.
Steve: I'm gonna try to make that right for you now.
Kayla: Are you? I mean, now that your memory's back, is your heart? Just promise me, if we won't be a family again, that you'll stay in our lives. Promise me that. Promise me that.
John: What's the word?
Guy: Mechanics are working on your plane. They can't figure out what's wrong with it, though.
John: You got that charter set up for me?
Guy: It's being filled right now, should be ready to go in 10.
John: What about the searchlight?
Guy: They're on board. You're gonna have to fly pretty low to use them, though.
John: Did you get ahold of your buddy over at search and rescue?
Guy: Affirmative. No word on Dr. Evans.
Patrick: So, what happened, Hope, between now and the last time I saw you? Did Bo say something to you to make you act like this? Damn it, Hope!
Hope: All right! All right. All right. Your police I.D. number was found written on a piece of paper with Eve Michaels' things.
Patrick: Is that supposed to mean something?
Hope: You're saying it doesn't?
Patrick: I'm saying I don't believe it.
Hope: John and Roman were there when the piece of paper was found.
Patrick: So, Bo had his brother and his best friend backing him up. I'm sure he has the whole police force behind him. They're all out to get me.
Hope: Why would the whole police force be against you unless you're guilty of something?
Patrick: I am not.
Hope: Patrick, I didn't want to believe it. My God, you're the father of my child.
Patrick: That's right, Hope. I am, and you know me.
Hope: No, I donít. I slept with you. I conceived a child with you, but I don't know you nearly -- I don't know if you're guilty or innocent.
Patrick: I am innocent of everything bo accused me of. How can I convince you of that? You just name it. I will do it.
Hope: There's nothing you can do.
Patrick: Don't say that, Hope.
Hope: There's too many coincidences. Patrick, it just keeps piling up.
Patrick: Yeah, I know, because of Bo.
Hope: No, I don't believe that anymore. I told you if I thought for a second that you were lying to me, we couldn't be together.
Patrick: I'm not lying.
Hope: But I don't know that, and that's the problem. I don't trust you. I can't live with that, and I wonít.
Patrick: What are you saying?
Hope: I can't see you anymore.
Patrick: Don't do this, Hope. We have a baby on the way. You can't cut me out of your life now.
Hope: I won't keep you from your child. You can come to all the doctor's appointments, be there for the birth, be a part of this child's life, but as far as you and me --
Patrick: We can't be together because of some number scratched on a piece of paper?
Hope: No, because you can't explain why they're there.
Patrick: Hope, I told you.
Hope: You told me what? Nothing, just like all the other times I have confronted you with damning evidence. Maybe you're not lying outright, but you're hiding something, and that is just as bad. It's something I can't live with, and I won't live with it.
Patrick: Hope, you said you wanted to get to know me better. Fine, let's go away. Let's talk.
Hope: Patrick, we're done. It's over. Please, just leave me alone.
Billie: Chelsea, what happened?
Chelsea: After I left here, I went to the pub, and then Abe called Grandpa Shawn.
Chelsea: To tell grandma and grandpa that John made it safely to Ottawa.
Bo: Well, that's good news.
Billie: Yeah, you said something terrible happened.
Chelsea: It's Marlena. She never made it. She jumped out of the plane.
Kayla: Will you stay close?
Steve: Yeah, sure, I will. Scout's honor.
Kayla: [Chuckles] You were never a scout.
Steve: Oh, what do you mean? I had to learn this somewhere.
Kayla: From me.
Kayla: I taught you everything you know about girl scouts.
Steve: You did?
Kayla: Yeah, don't you remember? We were lost in the woods. You didn't think that I could build a shelter, but I did. It was raining. [Chuckles] And I wouldn't let you in until you apologized.
Steve: For... for underestimating you? You're gonna beat this thing, Kayla. Scout's honor.
Dr. Myers: Steve. Mr. Black is on his way with the antidote. You've got to get her to hang on for a couple more hours.
Guy: You're set to go. Plane's on the runway.
Guy: We'll radio you when we hear word on Dr. Evans. Good luck.
John: You just hang in there, Doc.
Hope: I meant it when I said I wanted you to come home.
Bo: What are you gonna do about Lockhart?
Sami: How could you put her in danger again? How dare you come home without her?
Marlena: Drop the hood. I want to get a look at you. It's you!
Kayla: I will always love you.
