Hope: Good morning.
Bo: Good morning, Fancy Face. You know how good it is to be able to say that to you again?
Shawn D.: Damn it.
Max: Do you feel as strange about all this as I do, us racing tomorrow and all?
Stephanie: Right now, hanging out with you like this?
Stephanie: Yes, but in a few hours, you'll be just another driver I have to beat and will beat.
Max: Oh, not paranoid now, are we?
Stephanie: I'm a good driver, Max. No, you know what? I take that back. I'm a great driver.
Max: You really think you're gonna win all this, don't you?
Stephanie: Yes, I do.
Max: That's funny because I think I'm gonna win all this.
Stephanie: Well, something's got to give, then, doesn't it?
Max: I got a question for you.
Max: Before a race, do you bring breakfast to all the drivers?
Stephanie: No, just the ones I've kissed.
Max: Oh, okay. And that would be how many exactly? Is it more than me? Is it just one?
Shawn D.: Come on, guys, seriously. At least one of you should be ready for the Grand Prix.
Max: Hey, what's your problem?
Patrick: Mimi, what's wrong?
Mimi: My life's over, that's all.
Patrick: What do you mean?
Mimi: Shawn found out that I've known about Claire for all these months. Don't even say it. I know I should have told him the truth. I know.
Patrick: I'm sorry, Mimi. Look, you had to know this would come out eventually.
Mimi: It's all -- it's over and done with now. He's gone. He's gone for good.
Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of our Lives.
Mimi: I'm sorry.
Mimi: Well, today's your preliminary hearing, and I'm just crying about my problems.
Patrick: Look, you're my baby sister. You come first, okay? So, how did Shawn even find out that you'd known for a while?
Mimi: It was so stupid. Mom and I were watching Claire over at Belle's, and we ducked over into my place to make dinner. And Claire was asleep, so we took the baby monitor with us. We were working in the kitchen, and then we heard her fussing, so we went back to check on her. We left the baby monitor behind. We didn't know it. Shawn came home.
Patrick: Mm-hmm, and he heard you and mom talking.
Mimi: Yeah, on the monitor. Yeah. Can you believe my luck? Why couldn't I have just kept my big mouth shut?
Patrick: Did you try explaining things to him?
Mimi: What's to explain -- that I kept it from him all this time that he has a daughter with Belle and didn't know it? Actually, you know what? I think he was already looking for an excuse to leave me, and, boy, did I ever give him a good one.
Patrick: I'm sorry, Mimi.
Mimi: It's nothing compared to what you're going through.
Patrick: I'm just worried about my baby sister right now.
Mimi: The conversation has moved on. We are talking about you now.
Patrick: Okay, well, there's not much to tell, really. I mean, I asked Tek to poke around, see if he could find something to clear me, but I don't know. So far he's come up empty.
Mimi: Well, he's still trying, right?
Patrick: I guess. I'm not even sure he believes me. You know, the whole reason I’m here in the first place is because Jennifer Horton phoned in a tip to the Salem P.D.?
Mimi: Your good friend Jennifer.
Patrick: Yeah, well, she used to be, anyway.
Mimi: Why couldn't she have left town a week sooner?
Patrick: She left town?
Mimi: Yeah, she and Jack got back together, and they moved to London.
Patrick: I thought Jack was so sick.
Mimi: He was taking that experimental drug, and it worked. He's in remission.
Patrick: Wow. Lucky Jack. So, they, what, moved overseas just like that?
Mimi: Yeah, to work. I guess the Spectator has an office there. They took Jack Jr. and left.
Patrick: What about Abby?
Mimi: Uh, she stayed here. I think she's living with Maggie and going to Salem U. I just cannot believe that Jennifer would think you're guilty.
Patrick: Well, at this point, even the mother of my baby seems to think so.
Mimi: Oh, come on. Hope does not think that you killed that policewoman.
Patrick: She told me if it comes down between believing Bo and believing me, she believes Bo.
Mimi: You know what? If she's just turned on you like that, then you're better off without her.
Bo: That's something else I've missed.
Bo: Seeing how beautiful you look when you're sleeping. Thanks for coming aboard last night.
Hope: You don't have to thank me. Yesterday was a very difficult day. I just -- I needed to feel safe and connected.
Bo: Almost like we're back together again huh hey, what are you thinking?
Hope: I'm just wondering how Belle's doing this morning.
Bo: Uh-huh. I'll give her a call.
Hope: No, no, no. Actually, what I want to do is I want to go to the hospital and see myself.
Bo: All right, not just yet.
Bo: I've got something for you.
Stephanie: I'm really sorry this is all happening to you, Shawn.
Max: Yeah, me too, man.
Stephanie: If there's anything I can do to help or --
Shawn D.: That's okay. I just need to work this out for myself.
Stephanie: Um, will you excuse me a minute? I just need to go make a quick phone call.
Max: Yeah, yeah, go ahead.
Max: So, you and Mimi -- it's really over?
Shawn D.: I just don't trust her anymore.
Shawn D.: And I never will again. Our whole marriage is basically a fraud.
Max: Dude, if you need the time off, I'm serious --
Shawn D.: No, no, no way. I need to keep busy for my sanity, and this is crunch time for you and me.
Max: Yeah, I know. You're right. This is the biggest event on the Grand Prix calendar. We got a lot riding on it.
Shawn D.: And if my engine is as good as I think it is, we're gonna be rich.
Max: I'm telling you, dude. I'm with you, partner.
Shawn D.: That is why I need to check and double-check to make sure this baby is running perfectly. I am not gonna be taking any chances.
Max: All right. [Chuckles]
Reporter: And what you said about Miss Johnson -- it's on the record? You predict she's flat-out gonna win the Salem Grand Prix?
E.J.: Surely you don't think a company like Mythic Communications would sponsor her if we didn't think she was gonna win.
Reporter: No, but --
E.J.: You can go ahead. You can quote me. Call me cocky. Say I've gone way out on a limb.
Reporter: Okay, I'll read it back to you. "Mythic's E.J. Wells calls Johnson 'the best driver with the fastest car. She's going to leave her rivals choking on their testosterone.'"
E.J.: My words -- I stand by them.
Reporter: And when you say "her rivals," you're including Max Brady?
E.J.: Max Brady -- Max Brady's tough, and he has his nephew Shawn's new turbo engine, so I can understand a little -- little of why you predict in your column that the Titan team are going to win.
Reporter: Not just me. Most of the sportswriters here think Brady's got it sewn up.
E.J.: Let me give you a little friendly advice. If you spend a little less time in the Salem hotel bar listening to those ink-stained wretches and a little more time down at the track, you might realize Stephanie's beaten Max in every single time trial. And you know what? She's a hell of a lot prettier than he is, too.
Reporter: [Laughs] Well, that I have noticed.
E.J.: See? You're going up in my estimations already. Listen, you write it as I said it, and you're gonna leave those other columnists -- Mitch Riley, all those guys -- looking like a bunch of saps, okay?
Reporter: Okay, I hear you. Anyway, I got to get going. I got a deadline to meet. Thanks for your time.
E.J.: It's my pleasure. Hey.
Kate: Hey. I just saw a different side to you. You are what I believe the journalists call good copy.
E.J.: The guy works for one of those newspapers we bought -- the one in Philadelphia, so I had to give him the good stuff.
Kate: Yeah. We're getting great media coverage, aren't we? All the newspapers and the cable and the network -- I just hope the race lives up to the hype.
E.J.: Kate, I think we're gonna be blown away by it. I can't wait for it to happen.
Kate: Endorsements, advertising tie-ins -- if we win, Stephanie is going to be the next big thing in racing.
E.J.: Kate, we will win.
Kate: You're awfully confident.
E.J.: I am. Do you want to know why? I'll tell you. Because I thrive on competition and because in the end, I never lose.
Abby: Hey, you guys. Oh, we have a spy in our midst.
Stephanie: Oh, yes, I just got done taking detailed pictures of Shawn's engine. But you can't see the camera because it's embedded in this fingernail.
Max: Wait, so, Abby, you work for me, right? But you're related to the competition. Who are you cheering for tomorrow?
Abby: Both of you.
Max: Oh, you're fired.
Stephanie: That's a good answer.
Abby: Thank you.
Stephanie: How are your parents, by the way? Do they like London?
Abby: Yeah they sent me a CD, and they're doing fantastic. By any chance, are you guys gonna be here later? I have some visitors who are supporters of the leukemia and lymphoma society. I'm gonna go pick them up right now.
Stephanie: Oh, that's awesome. You know what? I'm due over at Kate Roberts', so I might not be here, but I'd definitely like to support the cause, so if they're interested, just have them get in touch with me.
Abby: That's great. Thank you. I will. I got to run, but I'll talk to you later.
Stephanie: So, Shawn, what are you gonna do? Are you gonna ask for joint custody, or...
Max: What's wrong with you women? Why do you have to know every single detail about everything, huh?
Shawn D.: It's okay. I don't really know what I'm gonna do. I was gonna go for joint custody, but now I'm just not so sure. Me being Claire's father, I think I'm just gonna sit back and hope for the best.
Stephanie: Is your relationship with Belle one of those things you hope works out?
Mimi: Actually, I'm not surprised Hope isn't standing by you.
Patrick: Wow. Thanks for the morale booster.
Mimi: It's got nothing to do with you, Patrick. It's her. That's her history. As soon as things get tough, she ditches her man. She did it with Bo. Now she's doing it with you..
Patrick: I don't know.
Mimi: Well, it must run in the family 'cause it's exactly what Shawn did. You should have seen him last night. He was out the door so fast. "Goodbye, Mimi. Goodbye, marriage."
Patrick: Mimi, you've got to admit to be a hell of a thing to hear that you knew about Claire's paternity all along. Maybe he'll feel differently when he calms down.
Mimi: No, no. I know him. He is so done with me.
Patrick: Look, I know you don't want to hear any "I told you so, but I just wish you would have leveled with him from the beginning.
Mimi: I wanted to. I just was so scared to lose him, and now I have anyway. I just am so in love with him.
Patrick: I know you are. You're a great person, Mimi, and he is going to lose something great. And sooner or later, he'll regret it.
Mimi: Yeah, like now he regrets losing Belle. He broke up with her because she lied to him. Like he hasn't never lied before. But I guess somehow that's different. See, Shawn sees everything in black and white. Either you're honest or you totally can't be trusted. And we both know which category I now fall under.
Patrick: Do you think he’ll get back together with Belle?
Mimi: I'm sure he will.
Patrick: Even though she's married?
Mimi: Oh, sure. Marriage vows are only sacred when it's convenient, right? Although, my marriage wasn't even valid because of the secret I was keeping, so I really shouldn't talk. Now, let me ask you something.
Mimi: Do you think I'm wrong about Hope? Do you think you still have a chance with her?
Patrick: I don't know. She did say she doesn't think she can get over the anger she feels towards Bo. And God only knows if she can ever trust me again, but...
Patrick: So, what I'm thinking is that maybe she doesn't want to have a future with Bo or me.
Bo: Here we go.
Hope: Hey, what you got there?
Bo: Well, I said I had something for you, but I'm not too sure you're gonna want this.
Hope: Hmm. What kind of muffin is this?
Bo: I don't know.
Hope: You know what? I don't care because it looks wonderful and I'm absolutely starving.
Hope: Where's your breakfast?
Bo: Oh, right here.
Hope: Oh, my God. How old is that?
Bo: Just yesterday.
Hope: I don't think it's yesterday.
Bo: Maybe the day before.
Hope: So, what have you been eating lately?
Bo: Well, very nutritious -- all your food groups here. You got your vegetables and your dairy and little penicillin, maybe.
Hope: Oh, my God. You cannot eat that.
Bo: Cardboard for fiber. Why not?
Hope: This was supposed to be your breakfast, wasn't it?
Bo: I don know what that was supposed to be.
Hope: Don't eat that.
Bo: It was the last thing in the galley that hadn't reached its expiration date.
Hope: Don't eat that. Don't eat that. What am I gonna do with you?
Bo: I'm starving. You know, I got a few ideas what you can do with me.
Hope: Would you like a bite of my muffin? I'll share it with you. You can have half.
Bo: Okay, all right. I'll let you finish your breakfast.
Hope: Mmm. Well, I'm gonna savor every bite.
Hope: Mmm. And for the record my board probably looks a lot like yours.
Bo: Cooking for one is no fun. But now you're eating for two.
Hope: And I'm trying to take care of myself.
Bo: I would love to take care of you and your baby. A lot has come between us -- lies and misunderstandings -- and obviously we can't go back, but I'd like to go forward. How about coming back to me?
Hope: I'm sorry, but I just, um, I can't make a decision like that, not right now. I'm not ready. Being with you last night and falling asleep in your arms, it was wonderful.. I haven't felt that safe in a really long, long time. It was almost as if no time had passed.
Bo: Well, doesn't that tell you something, Fancy Face, like and clear, yelling in your ear that we should be together?
Hope: It's not that easy.
Bo: It could be. It used to be. You and me, together, no matter what the world threw at us, we could deal with it because we are together.
Hope: I used to believe that.
Bo: And it can still be true. No matter what has happened, how much time has gone by, how much distance between us, you will always be my heart and my home. That'll never change.
Stephanie: Why are you pulling me out here like this? What'd I do?
Max: You're totally putting him on the spot. He doesn't need that right now.
Stephanie: You thought I was being insensitive?
Max: Maybe, not on purpose, but yeah, a little.
Stephanie: Well, now I feel awful.
Max: I'm sure he's not gonna hold it against you, but there's another reason why I wanted to get you out here alone.
Stephanie: What's that?
Max: This. You know, say goodbye in private.
Max: You said you were gonna go to see Kate, so --
Stephanie: Now I kind of wish it could wait.
Max: I know, I know. Me too. The next time we see each other, we're gonna be in our cars on track.
Stephanie: Right. As rivals.
Max: Mm-hmm. You know, I've never really looked forward to a race as much as this one.
Stephanie: Why is that?
Max: Because you and I have been joking about it for weeks now and now no more talk. You and I are gonna have it out -- me versus you.
Max: Mm-hmm. But just be careful, okay? The "versus" is only temporary.
Stephanie: In that case, I'll definitely be careful.
Stephanie: Okay, okay. That's it, okay? One more kiss like that and I'm gonna be too distracted to drive. Or is that your plan?
Max: We'll see. We'll see.
Stephanie: See you on the track.
Max: You're such a punk. [Clears throat] Look, man, I hope she wasn't too hard on you with all
those questions, you know? I mean, she's just worried about you, you know?
Shawn D.: I know. I'm just glad that Chelsea's out of the picture.
Max: Look, I know you've never really thought very highly of Chelsea, and yeah, she's got a lot of baggage. But, Shawn, at least now you know when she said she wasn't doctoring the DNA report, she wasn't lying. You and I are both wrong of accusing her of that.
Shawn D.: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Max: Anyway, we got a lot of changes, both you and me, coming up.
E.J.: I couldn't agree more, Max.
E.J.: Shawn. Listen, I was really sorry to hear that you and Mimi called it quits.
Shawn D.: How the hell did you know about that?
Bonnie: Patrick, hey, baby, I'm here.
Patrick: Hey, Mom.
Bonnie: We were so stupid. I'm sorry it took forever.
Patrick: Oh, it's good to see you.
Bailiff: Ma'am -- ma'am, no.
Bonnie: Hey! Watch the hands. Sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.. How you both doing, huh?
Patrick: I'm okay.
Mimi: He's lying. We're lousy.
Bonnie: Honey, it's gonna be
Bailiff: Sorry, folks. Time's up.
Bonnie: I just got here.
Bailiff: Not my fault.
Patrick: Mom, it's okay. I'm gonna get changed. Thanks for bringing my suit.
Bonnie: Okay. Try not to worry, okay? Mimi and I will be in the courtroom supporting you all the way.
Bonnie: We're gonna get through this, you’ll see? As a family. I know we haven't always been there for each other in the past, but this time, the Lockharts’’ are gonna stick together. Come here. We may not be the hoity-toity Hortons or even the Brady’s, but we're proud of who we are. And you're gonna walk out of this hoosegow a free man, you understand?
Patrick: I appreciate the pep talk, Mom, but I want you to prepare yourself, okay? I may not beat this thing.
Bonnie: Shh! Don't even think like that. You will beat this. And you know why? Because you didn't do it. You're no more a murderer than I am.
Bailiff: Let's go, Lockhart.
Mimi: Patrick, I love you.
Patrick: Love you guys.
Bonnie: I love you. I love you, son. I love you.
Kate: I really appreciate you coming by like this, Stephanie.
Stephanie: No problem.
Kate: I didn't want to disturb you right before your big day, but there's something I wanted to go over with you.
Stephanie: Sure. Is E.J. around?
Kate: Uh, no. Actually, you just missed him. Do you need to talk to him?
Stephanie: No, I just wanted to tell you both how happy I am with the car. You guys have given me a great set of wheels, and the rest is up to me.
Kate: Well, I know you are going to do us proud. We couldn't have asked for a better driver.
Kate: You're welcome. Actually, you've become a wonderful spokesperson for us, with your charm, your charisma, your intelligence. I'm telling you, the press has been absolutely positive.
Stephanie: Well, we're both happy then.
Kate: Mm-hmm. Yes, we are. And now I have another assignment for you.
Stephanie: An assignment? Okay.
Kate: Mm-hmm. Actually, I'm hoping that it will intrigue you and you'll accept it.
Shawn D.: Only a couple people know about Mimi and me breaking up. How'd you find out?
E.J.: I was having breakfast at the diner this morning. I bumped into your soon-to-be ex-mother-in-law.
Shawn D.: Why am I surprised? I'm sure I don't want to know what else she had to say about me.
E.J.: If it was supposed to be some kind of secret, I'm sorry..
Max: Enough personal questions, E.J. It's really none of your business, as always, but why are you here?
E.J.: So cynical, Max. It doesn't suit you. Listen, I just came to wish both of you the best of luck in the race.
Hope: Bo, thank you for breakfast, but I really need to get going.
Bo: What's the hurry?
Hope: I told you, I want to stop by the hospital and check on Belle and the baby --
Bo: There's these new things that are called telephones.
Hope: I told you, I want to see her myself.
Bo: Hey, how about lunch? You and I could get together this afternoon, have something to eat, spend some more time together.
Hope: Bo, what you're talking about -- I'm just not ready for it. It's too fast. You've got to understand. I'm not in the same place as you are, not emotionally, not right now.
Bo: Okay. All right, we'll take this thing at a snail's pace -- you know, go to dinner, movies, no commitments.
Hope: No pressure?
Bo: No pressure. Absolutely no pressure. [Sighs] I got to go anyway. I'm due at the courthouse for Lockhart's preliminary.
Hope: I didn't realize that's today.
Bo: Oh, good, that means you haven't been talking to him.
Hope: Bo --
Bo: I don't want you anywhere near that murderer.
Hope: Unless and until he is convicted, I am trying to keep an open mind, which I wish I had done with you. I don't want to make that mistake again.
Bo: He worked for the DiMeras. That's all that matters to me.
Hope: That was a long time ago.
Bo: Oh, come on, Hope.
Hope: Bo, he is a different person. He has been incredibly kind to me.
Bo: Bottom line -- he's a cop killer.
Hope: I know. I know it doesn't look good. I know it looks bad. But I also know Patrick. Bo, I prac-- no, I did. I accused him of kidnapping Will, and it turned out that Will ran away from home. I refuse to jump to any conclusions. I refuse to believe that the father of my baby is a cop killer.
Bo: What is it? Are you okay? What happened?
Hope: I just felt the baby kick. Oh, my God, Bo, if you're right about Patrick --
Bo: Hey, hey, hey. All that matters right now is that you're this baby's mom. That means she's gonna have your spirit and your goodness. She's gonna be one very lucky little baby.
Hope: Why do you keep saying "she"?
Bo: Just a feeling I have.
Cameron: Hello, Patrick.
Patrick: Morning, Cameron.
Cameron: Very quickly, let me explain to you the purpose of this hearing. It's to determine if there's sufficient evidence to bring your case to trial.
Patrick: Oh, they've got plenty of evidence that I killed Eve Michaels, but it's all bogus because I didn't do it.
Cameron: Well, unfortunately, Patrick, this is not the first time that somebody has been wrongfully accused.
Patrick: Yeah, and it won be the last.
Cameron: Correct. But the bottom line is, I don't want you having to be exonerated in 20 years. My job is to get you out of this jam now.
D.A. Bettis: I don't envy you, Cameron, having to prove your client's innocence.
Cameron: [Laughs] You know, I don't know what kind of diploma-Mill Law schools you prosecutors go to, Brooke, but it's not my responsibility to prove Patrick's innocence. The burden is on you to prove his guilt, and you are in for the fight of your life.
Mimi: This is good.
Mimi: Cameron is a shark. There's no way that D.A. is gonna win.
Bonnie: Honey, just because the D.A.'s a looker doesn't mean she isn't smart. Sometimes it's the pretty ones you got to worry about. You make the mistake of thinking they're ninnies, and then they tear you to shreds, just like your so-called friend Belle.
Mimi: Did you have to bring up her?
Bonnie: Well, I'm sorry, but you and I have both seen women like Miss Bettis in action. For Patrick's sake, I hope I'm wrong.
Kate: For this job, you're actually going to need a different set of skills than you normally employ on the racetrack.
Stephanie: Such as?
Kate: Such as empathy and intellect, a knack for conversation..
Stephanie: Kate, I'm flattered, but it sounds like you're looking for somebody a lot more special than me.
Kate: No, no. You're going to do just fine.
Stephanie: What exactly is this job you want me to do?
Kate: Well, actually, it's not a job. It's more of a favor.
Stephanie: Well, you and E.J. have been wonderful to me, so if there's anything I can do for you --
Kate: And it concerns my son Philip.
Max: You're wishing us luck. That's really why you're here?
Shawn D.: You didn't let him finish, Max. What the guy is trying to say is, "good luck, boys. You're gonna need it."
E.J.: He's right. You want to win this race, you're gonna need some luck, but so is Stephanie. So, don't be so suspicious, eh, guys? I wish you a safe and successful run.
Abby: Wow. First Stephanie shows up and now E.J. This sure is a friendly rivalry.
Max: Oh, these must be the gentlemen you were talking about.
Abby: Yes, this is Dr. George Bitar and Charles Winston.
Max: How are you doing? I'm Max Brady I'm the team driver for the Titan car. And this is my business partner, Shawn.
Charles: Good to meet you, Shawn.
Max: And unfortunately, you have to meet E.J. His driver, Stephanie Johnson, is the one I'm gonna have to beat in the biggest race of the year, so...
E.J.: Nice to meet you, gentlemen.
E.J.: My pleasure.
Abby: Dr. Bitar represents the Washington DC Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. He's also the top fund-raiser this year.
Shawn D.: Yeah, Abby's been telling us. Congratulations.
George: Thank you.
Abby: He, too, has a personal interest in the society's work. He lost three loved ones, I think it was, to leukemia and lymphoma.
George: Yeah, that's right. I lost my grandmother, a cousin, and a dear friend. And I understand that you've had some misfortunes of your own, Abby.
Abby: I had a related disease -- aplastic anemia. But I had a bone-marrow transplant which saved my life. I have been really grateful, so that's why I got involved with the "light the night" campaign. Shawn has, too, since his good friend Chloe was diagnosed with leukemia a few years ago.
George: That's wonderful that you're involved.
Max: Oh, and Mr. Winston?
Abby: He is a fabulous designer who created this necklace.
Max: Wow. Nice.
E.J.: That's incredible. You made that?
Charles: Thank you.
Abby: The proceeds are gonna go to benefit the research to find a cure for leukemia and lymphoma.
Charles: You're in one kind of a race, and I guess you could say we're in another.
Max: Yeah. Oh, which reminds me, here are the box-seat tickets for the race. Please enjoy the race.
George: I'm sure we will. Thank you.
Max: Of course. Of course.
Abby: I'm gonna go give them a tour of the garage, and then they have a TV appearance to go to.
Charles: Guys, it was a pleasure meeting you.
Max: Thanks, man.
E.J.: Good to meet you, too.
Max: Enjoy the race.
Charles: Thanks. Bye-bye.
Max: You know, I don't really think you're here to put a hex on us, E.J., so I apologize.
E.J.: Good. Good. You're a very worthy opponent, Max, you know? You want to prove you're the best, you have to compete against the best. That's my motto.
Max: I can't argue with that.
E.J.: No, and, Shawn, your new engine seems to be scaring the living daylights out of every other car on the track.
Shawn D.: Yeah, we think it'll do the job.
E.J.: Well, in which case, may the best man or woman win.
Max: Well, we appreciate your good wishes, E.J. And coming from a guy with your achievements in this sport, it means a lot.
E.J.: Thank you. Well, listen, boys, whatever happens out there on the track, I'd like you to know that you have both won my admiration and my respect. Good day.
Bo: Hey, man. This is the courtroom for the Lockhart hearing, right?
Officer: Yeah, things haven't started yet, but you can go on in, Bo.
Bo: Okay, thanks. Hey. Hey.
Bo: What are you doing here?
Hope: Well, the more I thought about it, the more I realized I really need to be here.
Bo: Hope, come on. I don't want you getting upset. It's bad for the baby.
Hope: Bo, if it starts getting to me, then I'll leave, okay? I need to be here. Let's go.
Bo: All right.
Patrick: It's okay.
Bonnie: Well, well, look who showed up.
Mimi: Look who she's with.
Bonnie: Don't let her get to you.
Hope: Hey, Mimi. Hi, sweetheart. Patrick.. Hello, Bonnie.
Patrick: I know why he's here, but I didn't expect to see Hope.
Cameron: Patrick, don’t.
Patrick: Don't what?
Cameron: If your thinking of talking to Bo Brady, forget it. That's the worst thing you could do.
Patrick: I'm not interested in talking to him.
Hope: Bo, please, okay? Don't make a scene. Please.
Bo: I'm not.
Patrick: [Sighs] I'm glad you came.
Hope: I'm here because of the baby.
Patrick: Well, how are you feeling?
Hope: I'm good. We're both good.
Patrick: Have you had any ultrasounds lately?
Hope: No, but I felt the baby kick this morning.
Patrick: Really? That's great. That's really exciting, Hope.
Person: She's looking ready, huh?
Shawn D.: Oh, I have given her a good tune-up. She is running real smooth now.
Person: It should be fun to get her on the track, the faster she is.
Shawn D.: And when we get out there, I want to do another thorough check. You know that I'm working in the pit with you during the race, right?
Person: That's all right.
Max: Where's Philip? I thought he was supposed to be here with you, though.
Person: I was just about to tell you.
Shawn D.: He's probably not here because of me and all the stuff that's going on.
Max: Shawn, he is a part of the team. If he can't keep his personal -
Person: No, Philip called. He's not here because his wife's in the hospital.
Shawn D.: What? Belle was supposed to be released last night.
Person: According to Philip, they had to keep her there. And he sounded worried.
Stephanie: So, this favor involves Philip?
Kate: Well, um, I don't know how much you know about what's going on, but very soon, Philip is going to need a friend -- someone he can talk to, confide in.
Stephanie: Kate, I hardly know Philip.
Kate: Yes, I know. And I hope that we can fix that. Look, Philip and I are very close, okay? But I'm sure you know most adult men don't like discussing their personal problems with their mother.
Stephanie: Well, he has a wife. Doesn't he talk to Belle? I know things are a little crazy right now, but --
Kate: Unfortunately, it's a lot more than that. You didn't hear it from me, but that marriage is falling apart.
Stephanie: Oh. I'm sorry to hear that.
Kate: Yes, well, so am I. I really had great hopes for that marriage, but believe me, Belle and Philip do not have a future together.
Stephanie: Because of Shawn. I know you all just found out that Claire is his daughter, not Philip's.
Kate: Yes, yes, and that was quite a shock, believe me.
Stephanie: And I know that Shawn and Belle used to be in love, so...
Kate: Used to be? No, no, no, no. No, they never fell out of love. And now that Belle has not only one child but another baby on the way with Shawn, I am sure her intentions will be to leave Philip for Shawn.
Stephanie: I guess you're probably right, especially now that Shawn has left Mimi.
Kate: What? When did that happen?
Stephanie: You didn't know? It happened last night.
Kate: Well, why? What reason?
Stephanie: I'm sorry. You know what? It's really not my place to say.
Kate: Another thing I like about you -- your sense of discretion. That's okay. That's okay, believe me. I am going to find out...eventually. So, what about my proposition? Are you willing to take me up on it? Are you willing to lend a shoulder for Philip to cry on?
Stephanie: Kate, if you're expecting me to offer anything more than a friendship, it's not gonna happen. I'm involved with Max Brady -- well, sort of.
Kate: No, good heavens not. Of course not. I wouldn't expect there to be a romance between you and Philip. All I'm asking is for you to offer your friendship -- to be a friend to him, someone for him to talk to, confide in, like I said -- pure friendship, nothing more.
Bo: Stay away --
Bonnie: Don't touch my son. Don't you touch him.
Bailiff: Break it up or I'll get the judge in here to deal with you both.
Bo: Keep your hands to yourself.
Bonnie: Keep your hands to yourself.
Hope: Bonnie, stop it.
Cameron: Come on. Come on.
Cameron: Are you okay?
Patrick: I wish these bogus charges against me are dropped and we can bring false arrest charges against that idiot.
Hope: What are you thinking? Mimi, honey, I am so sorry, sweetheart. Where's Shawn? Why isn't he here with you?
Mimi: What? He didn't even tell his own mother?
Hope: Tell me what?
Mimi: Shawn dumped me last night.
Shawn D.: Are you sure about this?
Person: That's what Philip said. Belle's still in the hospital.
Shawn D.: I don g last night Belle and the baby were doing fine.
Person: Look, I don't have all the facts, but it sounded like she had some kind of relapse and the baby's still in danger.
Max: Shawn --
Shawn D.: I'm sorry, Max. I got to go.
Max: Hey, Shawn, the race. Come on, man.
Stephanie: You're right. You don't know the first thing about being a husband or a father.
Lexie: Abe loves me.
Tek: Lexie, he doesn't want to date you. He wants to indict you. He's gathering evidence, and once he gets enough, he's gonna arrest you.
Shawn D.: Which one was your mistake, Mom -- dad or Patrick?
Cameron: It would be easy for you to frame Patrick Lockhart.
