Roman: All right, Jeffrey Taylor -- what's your official title, please? All right, commissioner of health and human affairs, State of New Jersey. All right. Got that. Let me ask you this -- are you sure there wasn't a mistake or a miscommunication? Okay, well, I will get in contact with the Trenton P.D. and work with them. Yes, sir. You are damn right. We'll figure this out.
Carrie: What's wrong, Dad?
Roman: Marlena had an appointment this morning to set up one of her clinics for the women's empowerment group. She never showed up. Nobody knows what happened to her.
Carrie: What are you saying?
Roman: Well, I'm saying that Marlena could be in trouble.
Officer: What are they doing? Why did they take the camera off Will Roberts' parents?
Tek: Am I seeing what I'm seeing?
Officer: Oh, my God. Is that him? Is that their son?
Tek: Yeah, this is unbelievable.
Officer: Talk about the power of the media. I mean, I don't think they've been on the air for five minutes, have they?
Tek: Not even that.
Bo: Hey, what's going on?
Tek: Bo, check this out. Sami and Lucas were pleading to the kidnapper for Will's return, and look who shows up.
Bo: Oh, my God.
Lucas: Are you okay? Are you sure you're okay? How did you get here so fast?
Sami: Are you all right?
Austin: Where did they take you?
Lucas: Did they see us on TV?
Sami: Are you okay?
Will: Yeah, I'm fine.
Sami: Okay, you're fine. Thank God.
E.J.: And who's on the spot to cover the moment? Our new television station with a special report. Kate, we cannot have planned this better.
Kate: Happy ending and all, huh?
Lucas: Were there more than one? Just tell us. Tell us. We're not gonna be mad.
Sami: Leave him alone. Just give him a second. Will, I am so glad you're all right, honey.
Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of our Lives.
Lexie: There's John.
John: Whoa! Hey! Theo! What's going on, kid?
Abe: Hey, John so, what are you doing? Are you eating here alone?
John: Yeah, eating alone. How you doing?
John: I'm surprised to see you here.
Lexie: Huh. Well, Abe has lunch here just about every day, I guess that means you're surprised to see us together. Sweetheart, you didn't tell your friends that we were together?
John: No, no, of course he did. I'm just glad that things are working out so well.
Lexie: Yeah, me too.
John: Now, what do we got here? Got some NBA cards, huh? What do we got? We got Sam Cassell. We got Elton Brand. We got -- whoa, what is this? Kobe Bryant rookie card? That had to set you back a pretty penny, pal.
Lexie: Oh, please, you don't want to know, really.
John: What's with the Lakers and the Clippers?
Abe: His collection was a little short on West Coast teams.
John: A little short? So, are you gonna spend the day with mommy and daddy, huh?
Abe: Yeah, we're gonna go to the Science Museum in Brookville..
Lexie: Yeah, Theo loves dinosaurs. They have a new T. Rex exhibit.
Theo: Let's go now, daddy.
Lexie: Oh, I know he is. Honey, we have to eat lunch first.
Abe: Yeah, you know you love the mac and cheese here, right? Remember?
Lexie: Theo, we're doing all your favorite things today -- astronaut ice cream...
Abe: The park.
Lexie: ...Time with daddy and mommy together.
Abe: [Chuckles] Here you go. Yeah. Oh.
Theo: I love you, daddy.
Officer: I'm so glad your nephew's okay. Most of them just don't end up this way.
Bo: You're right. They don’t.
Officer: Okay, great show. I'm going back to work now.
Bo: All right. You know, Will showing up like that -- you think with Lockhart behind bars, it gave him a chance to escape?
Tek: You think he took Will away not expecting to get busted and wind up in jail?
Bo: Something like that.
Tek: So, you didn't get anything new out of him when you interrogated him?
Bo: Not a damn thing. He's still sticking to his story that he was framed.
Tek: And he still thinks you're the one who framed him.
Bo: Yeah, he almost had Hope believing it.
Tek: Bo, there's something else I got to tell you.
Bo: What's that?
Tek: Lockhart wants me to keep looking into the Michaels case.. He wants me to help him prove that he's being set up.
Bo: And when did you have this conversation?
Tek: A couple hours after you brought him in when I went down to tell him his arraignment had been set.
Bo: Do you think he's being set up?
Tek: By you, no but he thinks that somebody else might have wanted him to take the fall.
Tek: A past criminal employer.
Bo: No, he's just sending you on a wild-goose chase.
Tek: I'm still looking into it.
Bo: No, no. We can't spare the manpower.
Tek: Look, if we want to build an airtight case against Lockhart, we got to explore every angle.
Bo: Listen to me. He might not have had anything to do with that kidnaping, but he killed a cop. He stole that evidence disc, and he framed me for it.
Tek: You're probably right, Bo, but what if he's telling the truth? Have you even considered that? That means that the guy who is threatening the Brady’s is still out there. That means that no one in your family is safe, not even you.
Will: I'm choking.
Sami: I'm sorry, Will. I just can't help it. I was so worried that I would never see you again.
Will: Go easy, Dad.
Lucas: Oh, I got you. We were so worried about you.
Sami: Please get out of here.
Will: Yeah, I can see that. What's with this TV camera crew?
Lucas: We were making a Televised plea, all right, to your captors for your safe return.
Kate: Oh, sweetie. Thank God you're home. Just thank God you're back.
Austin: Did the guy that was holding you -- what'd he do? Did he just let you go?
Will: What guy? What are you talking about?
Sami: The guy who kidnaped you, honey.
Will: What do you mean? I wasn't kidnaped.
Sami: What are you talking about, Will? Of course you were kidnaped. Did he make you say that? Did he threaten to hurt you if you described him or something?
Will: What are you talking about?
Sami: Will, I know you were kidnaped. I got a call from a computerized voice, and he threatened you. And then I called your school, and you never showed up for class.
Will: I don't know anything about a computerized voice. The reason why I didn't go back to school was because I... I ran away.
Sami: Oh, my God. You got to be kidding me.
Lucas: What is going on?
Roman: The Trenton Police went over to her hotel. They questioned everybody, talked to everybody, including the hostess of the hotel restaurant. She said that Marlena had coffee there at 7:00 this morning and then went back up to her room. The bellhop said he saw her leave around 8:00 A.M. She hasn't been seen since.
Carrie: Oh, my God. Could she have been in a car accident?
Roman: Well, the police are tracking that down right now, but nobody of her description has been seen in any of the hospital emergency rooms, any of the mor-- anywhere..
Carrie: Why couldn't she have just stayed home? There's some many women in Salem who need help, including me.
Roman: Carrie, she felt this was something she needed to do.
Carrie: I know.
Roman: Well, I better get John over here right away.
John: John Black.
Roman: Yeah, John, this is Roman. I'm at the station. Could you get over here right away? I need your help.
John: Sure, I'm having lunch just down the street. Be there in a couple minutes.
Roman: All right, good, thanks.
John: Listen, Abe's here having lunch with Lexie and Theo. Anything you want me to tell him?
Roman: No, he's got a lot going on right now anyway. So, if we need to bring him in, we will.
John: You got it.
Roman: All right, see you in a couple.
Carrie: Marlena just has to be okay.
Roman: Well, we are gonna do everything we can to make sure of it.
Tek: Okay. Good.
Bo: Tek, I don't want you to take anything Lockhart has to say seriously. No one could have manufactured all the evidence we have against him.
Tek: Look, Bo, like I said before, you're probably right, but I still think we should look into it.
Bo: I don't want you wasting your time. He's guilty. End of story.
Sami: What do you mean you ran away?
Will: I was trying to prove a point. And you didn't even notice? God!
Sami: We were worried out of our minds. We were so scared for you. We thought you had been kidnaped, Will.
Will: Who'd want to kidnap me?
Sami: I cannot believe you did this.
Will: Oh, like I'm the only kid who ever ran away. You did this to your parents when you were pregnant with me.
Sami: That is not the point.
Will: Oh, it's not the point? How about when you were Stan, and you just walked out on all of us? You're an expert at running away, especially from your own happiness.
E.J.: Enough. Enough. Okay, cut this please. This is turning into a personal family discussion.
Newscaster: Which is exactly what an audience wants to see.
E.J.: We are not embarrassing Roberts' grandson. You've done a good job. We'll make the evening news. Come on. Let's go. Come on.
Sami: I can't believe you would just leave. How could you not talk to us?
Lucas: So, what happened? You were on your way to school. You just said, "the hell with it," and then that's it -- you decided to ditch?
Will: No. I started thinking about it the second mom backed out on her wedding with Uncle Austin. I knew it was gonna be in the papers. And with school the next day, I was gonna be the joke of Salem High again. And now with this plea thing you guys are doing, I'm gonna be an even bigger joke.
Lucas: We were worried about you.
Sami: I'm sorry.
Lucas: I'm sorry, too, okay? What happened to you? Where'd you go?
Will: Well, I had some birthday money and some allowance money from last year, so I bought a bus ticket to Chicago.
Lucas: You went to Chicago by yourself?
Austin: What did you do in Chicago?
Will: Well, the first day, I watched the Cubs play the Pittsburgh Pirates. Then the second day, I went and saw the White Sox play the Cleveland Indians.
Sami: Baseball? I can't believe that you would even consi-- where did you sleep?
Will: On a park bench when I got tired.
Lucas: Will, come on now.
Kate: Sweetheart, you could have been mugged.
Sami: Haven’t we taught you anything? There are crazies out there.
Will: I didn't have to leave Salem to know that. Well, you don't have to worry. I'm not gonna do anything like that ever again.
Lucas: Damn right you won’t. I'm gonna make sure of it.
Will: I missed my bed and getting three meals a day and other things.
Sami: Will, we are furious with you right now. I cannot believe you would do something so dangerous. But I can't help being relieved that you're safe.
Lucas: Yeah, that's the most important thing. We got to get you back to school tomorrow, okay? I'll take you. I'll make sure you get there.
Will: Yeah, please.
Sami: Okay, I get it, okay, Will?
Kate: There's just one thing here, though, we're not thinking about. If Will wasn't kidnaped, if he ran away, how did the guy that called Sami know about it?
Bo: Hey, Tek, I'm gonna head over to Sami's and talk to Will, find out how he escaped. Maybe I can get an eyewitness account against Lockhart. Then I'll stop hearing this broken record how he was framed.
Tek: Keep me posted.
Bo: Yeah. Hey, John. What's up?
John: Roman needs to see me. Hey, it's all over the radio. Will's been found. Good news.
Bo: I'm going over there to talk to him right now, see what I can find out.
John: Good luck. Also, I'm glad that you finally found that missing evidence disc.
Bo: Couldn't have done it without you. Later.
John: Too bad Michaels had to die in the process.
Bo: Yeah, well, when you're a dirty cop, bad things happen.
John: Yeah and me going undercover to date her was what got her killed.
Bo: You don't know that for sure.
John: Damn good bet, Bo. God only knows what she could have given us if she was still alive. You know, I always thought that Alex North had a plant here at the cop shop.. Could have been Michaels. Odds are we'll never find out now.
Bo: I don't know about that. Patrick Lockhart applied to the academy. Then he kills Eve Michaels. Maybe he wanted to be the ‘big boss' next inside man.
John: Hmm... now, when you say "big boss," you mean....
Bo: I'm thinking Tony DiMera.
John: So, how's Hope doing with all of this?
Bo: Better. Still got a long way to go.
John: Yeah, well, it's gonna speed things up if you can make these charges against Lockhart stick.
Bo: That's exactly what I'm gonna do. I'm out of here.
John: See you, Bo.
Carrie: Hi, John.
Roman: Thanks for coming.
John: Whoa, Carrie, what's with the long face? You alright?
Carrie: We have some bad news about Marlena.
John: What's wrong with Doc?
Roman: She's missing.
Lucas: Whoever made that call is keeping tabs on us. Once they realized that Will ran away, they tried to call us again just to mess with our heads.
E.J.: For all we know, this person could be watching us right now.
Sami: Or maybe they're listening to us. I'm gonna call my dad and have him sweep the apartment for bugs or something.
E.J.: Good idea.
Will: Mom, I guess it's cool that we know the police commander, but don't you think you're overreacting?
Lucas: No, she's not.
Sami: Look, Will, I don't know who this person is or what they have planned for us, but I'm gonna make sure that they don't win.
Abe: You know, I don't think we're gonna have time to listen to all those songs you played.
Lexie: Abe, thanks for arranging this day with me and Theo. I mean, he's so happy. So am I.
["Here and Now by Luther Vandross plays] Coincidence, right?
Abe: Unless he learned to read since I saw him two days ago.
Lexie: Oh, honey. Remember this song? This is the one we danced to on our first anniversary. We didn't have much back then, but it didn't matter 'cause we had each other. I've missed you so much.
Theo: Do it again.
Abe: [Laughs] Well?
Theo: Do it again. [Both laugh]
Tek: Hey, little man. Hey, Carvers.
Abe: What are you doing here?
Tek: Same as you. I came to get something to eat. So, good news -- Will Roberts was found.
Tek: Yeah, he walked in, in the middle of Sami and Lucas' plea.
Abe: So, any information on his kidnapper?
Tek: Bo's over there questioning him right now. That's all I know. But it looks like this case is pretty much wrapped up.
Lexie: Um, maybe you should go back to the station Abe.
Tek: , Everything's under control. I wouldn't want to interrupt your little date here. Just pretend I'm not here, if that's what you're worried about, all right? Enjoy.
Roman: The Concierge at the hotel said she was there last night. She dined alone in the hotel restaurant.
John: Yeah, I know. She called me before she went to bed.
Roman: What was her frame of mind?
John: Upbeat, feeling very positive about this work that she's doing. Why?
Roman: Well, I don't have to tell you that for a long time now, Marlena's not exactly been herself.
John: Okay, so, what are you saying? That perhaps she disappeared on her own free wil-- j running away from her life?
Roman: Well, maybe I'm just grasping at straws, but you got to admit, it sure as hell beats the alternative.
Carrie: Dad, come on. She hasn't been gone that long.
Roman: I know. I know. That's what I'm saying. Maybe she just wanted to get away for a couple hours, get her head together, get herself together. Just no reason to panic yet.
John: Yeah, well, I can't sit around and do nothing, Roman.
Roman: I don't want you to, John.
John: Listen, for the record, I know where you're coming from.. When Doc and I were in Europe,
Green Mountain, the last thing I ever expected was to come home and have her ask me for a separation and then turn right around and say that she wanted to split out for a couple of months to Trenton, New Jersey, to start up this clinic after she'd been away from her family for so long.
Roman: Yeah, it was a pretty big shock.
Carrie: But you know, I talked to her just before she left. And for the first time since I've been home, she seemed like the Marlena that I always knew. I don't believe that she would ever leave her husband or her kids. And this work that she's doing, it means a lot to her. I'm really, really worried.
Roman: Yeah, and if there's trouble out there, it sure as hell always seems to find Marlena.
Carrie: And here she is, she's trying to prove that she can stand on her own two feet, she’s not a victim, she doesn't need anyone coming after her to rescue her.
Roman: And here we are about to come after her to rescue her.
John: Yep, so, what's the plan?
Roman: Well, I thought that maybe you'd go to New Jersey. I would go myself but I don't have any jurisdiction there. And besides that, the red tape would just bog me down. Besides, I've got a few cases here that need my immediate attention.
John: Yeah, so I hear. No problem, I'll catch the first flight out.
Roman: What about your own jet?
John: With fueling, flight plan checklist, Homeland Security, it would take half a day to get that thing going. So, I need to get out of here now.
Roman: All right, John, you know when it comes to Marlena's safety that there's nobody else I trust more.
John: Yeah. I would feel the same way about you, Roman, if this situation were reversed.
Carrie: John, thank you.
Carrie: Please let me know if there's anything that I can do.
John: I will.
Carrie: Okay. Someone should tell Belle.
John: Don't worry. I'll take care of that.
Carrie: Oh, and Sami, too. And it probably shouldn't be me. I don't know how she's gonna handle this between Marlena and Will.
John: Whoa, you haven't heard. Will's home, baby.
Roman: What? Home?
John: Yeah, yeah, it's all over the radio. I don't know all the details but apparently, this televised appeal worked.
Roman: I was gonna watch it, but I got sidetracked hearing about Marlena. I thought somebody would tell us.
John: I ran into Bo when I came in here. He confirmed the whole story. It's true.
Carrie: Well, thank God. This is great.
Roman: That is great news. I just hope to hell that the news about Marlena is just as good.
Sami: Uncle Bo. Oh, I'm so glad you're here. Did you see what happened on TV?
Bo: Yeah, I sure did.
Sami: Yeah, well, I've been trying to call my dad, but now that you're here, I think this apartment needs to be swept for bugs or listening devices.
Bo: Why? Do you think the person who kidnaped Will has the place monitored?
Sami: Yeah, well, as it turns out, Will was not kidnaped.
Sami: Yeah, he decided to scare the hell out of us by running away.
Bo: He ran -- he ran away. Okay. We found out that call that was made on the day he disappeared came from Patrick Lockhart.
Lucas: Patrick's the one who called?
Sami: I don't get it. What does he have against me?
Bo: It's not about you. It's against me. He's after my wife, and I'm in his way. And he knows the way to make me suffer is through my family.
Sami: Uncle Bo...
Kate: So, you're saying that he was terrorizing Sami to get back at you? I am not a detective, but that seems like a bit of a reach.
Bo: Would you like to be put back on the suspect list?
Sami: Uncle Bo, what about Lexie?
Bo: We're checking out every possible lead.
Lucas: So, then, the case is pretty much settled, right? Lockhart's the one who called. Is he the one who's been leaving those threatening notes, too?
Bo: Yeah, we think.
Austin: Well, if he worked for the DiMeras, is that really such a stretch?
Bo: That's exactly my point.
Sami: Wait a second. Didn't he kill that cop? Oh, my God, Will, he could have killed you.
Will: What are you talking about? I wasn't even kidnaped.
Sami: Will, you are never leaving th house again.
E.J.: The important thing is that we know who the guilty party is. With Patrick behind bars, he's no longer a threat, right?
Lexie: Mmm. So --
Lexie: How's work? Yes, it is. Oh, I’m sure your relieved to have caught the Eve Michaels killer, huh?
Abe: Yeah, yeah, we have several concurrent investigations -- a lot of loose ends to tie up.
Lexie: Well, I hope you get to the bottom of everything.
Abe: Me too.
Lexie: It's a shame about Patrick Lockhart. I know he just started at the academy, but it's always hard when you find out the perp is actually one of your own, you know?
Theo: I need to go to the bathroom.
Abe: Okay, well, then, we'll be right back.
Lexie: No, sweetheart, I'll take him. You finish this before the ice cream melts, okay? I've had my share. Come on, Theo.
Abe: Okay, all right.
Lexie: Come on, sweetheart. Okeydokey.
Lexie: Let's go to the bathroom.
Abe: What do you want, Tek?
Tek: Can we talk?
Abe: I have nothing to say to you.
Tek: Then just listen. You know, you should have a career in Hollywood. The way you kissed Lexie before, if I didn't know any better, I would have thought you meant it. You know, I hope for Lexie's sake, you drop this bogus investigation soon because she didn't do anything wrong. You know she didn't kidnap Will Roberts, and she definitely didn't set up Patrick Lockhart for Eve's murder. The only thing she's guilty of is loving you. For the life of me, I can't figure out why she does.
Sami: Will, you must not have eaten anything while you were gone. Here's some more toast.
Lucas: Here's some more eggs, too.
Will: Well, I had a lot of junk food until I ran out of money..
Lucas: When was that?
Will: Yesterday afternoon.
Lucas: Yeah, that's what I thought.
Sami: Honey, I can't believe you're eating all this. You must be hungry if you're eating my cooking.
Lucas: That's true.
Will: Well, I'm sorry I worried you.
Sami: Well, we weren't worried, okay? We were scared out of our minds.
Will: Well, how was I supposed to know some freak would have made you guys think I was kidnaped?
Sami: Never mind that, Will. What happened to you in Chicago? Weren't you stopped and questioned or something by the police for ditching school?
Will: Oh, yeah, they stopped and interrogated me.
Lucas: They did?
Sami: What? What did you say?
Will: Well, that I was a gifted student who graduated high school at the age of 14 and was attending the University of Chicago under a biological science scholarship.
Sami: How did you come up with that?
Will: I don't know. It just sort of came to me.
Lucas: And they believed you? They bought that? Wow.
Sami: Must be his mother's son after all.
Lucas: Look, you can't do that, all right? What you did was extremely dangerous. You can't do that again. And we got to have a talk about why you ran away.
Will: I told you. I was pissed at mom.
Lucas: It's got to be more than that.
Sami: Come on, Will. Something made you decide to come home.
Will: Yeah, I was starving.
Lucas: Come on, Will. Be honest with your mom, all right?
Sami: You said there were other things that made you come home.
Will: Listen, Mom, are you trying to ask me if I missed you?
Sami: You were right -- what you said early about me running away. I did when I was pregnant with you. I know how you feel. I was scared. I was -- I didn't know what to do. And I was terrified of being a mom. I thought I was gonna be this disastrous mom. And I guess I definitely haven't been the greatest mom in the world. You know, the only thing I am proud of in my whole life is you. I have failed at just about everything and every relationship. But I really thought I was doing okay with you, Will -- I mean, certainly 'cause you turned out to be such a great kid, a really wonderful young man. Your dad and I are so proud of you. And I want to thank you for always being there with me and managing to forgive me and stick by me for all the horrible things that have happened to you in your life. And... look, I understand why you're angry at me for walking out on Uncle Austin. But I want you to give me the chance to explain to you why I did it. And then I'm hoping you'll find a way to forgive me.
Bo: You know what, John? I hear this, the first name that comes to mind is Alex North.
John: No way, Bo. Tony DiMera would have escaped from prison before Alex North came back from the dead.
Bo: You think that bastard escaped?
Roman: No, the first thing we did was call then. He's still one of their guests.
John: Yeah, we all know his men are still working for him, though.
Bo: Well, if you need any help, you just let me know.
John: I'd take you up on that, however, I think you got your hands full here.
Officer Green: Mr. Black, I just booked you a flight to New Jersey. It leaves in two hours.
Roman: Thank you, Officer Green.
Bo: I'll drive you home. You can pack. Then we'll get you over to the airport.
John: Thanks, man. [Telephone rings]
Roman: Yeah, Salem P.D. Commander Brady speaking. Trenton P.D.. What do you got? All right, well, keep us informed.
John: Yeah, so, what is it?
Roman: The police found a bloodstain in Marlena's hotel room.
E.J.: I felt the telecast gave us the happy ending we were looking for, even if we didn't get the drama of apprehending a kidnapper.
Kate: Oh, that's fine with me.
Austin: Me too.
E.J.: Of course. I absolutely agree. Don't get the impression I was disappointed.
Kate: There's another thing you're not going to be disappointed about. I called the station on the way over to find out if they had an estimate of our projected ratings for the broadcast.
E.J.: And? And?
Kate: And they think we're going to be number one.
E.J.: That is fantastic. That is excellent.
Austin: Move over, CNN, all right? I'm glad for our company, Mom. I just hope it doesn't take another kidnaping scare to keep the ratings up.
E.J.: Well, don't forget, we have the Salem Grand Prix coming up. With the Max-Stephanie rivalry, that's gonna be pretty exciting.
Kate: You're telling me. And the press coverage we have on that -- we have complete coverage. We have exclusive coverage of it, so I think our momentum is up and it's going ahead.
E.J.: Yeah, I think so, too.
Carrie: Hi, I just heard the great news about Will.
Austin: Hey. Yeah, yeah, thank God he's okay.
Carrie: And congratulations for being on the spot. That's a great opening story.
Kate: Yeah. Well, I guess congratulations are in order for you and Austin, as well.
Carrie: Well, we have a lot to work out.
Kate: I am thrilled that the two of you found your way back to each other. I am. But I'm worried about Lucas.
Carrie: So am I. I'm sorry that I hurt Lucas. That's the last thing that I wanted.
Kate: Of course. I know that. I don't know what it is about you Brady girls and my sons.
Austin: Mom, mnh-mnh.
Kate: Honey, you know, I'm worried about Will, as well. I mean, look how he reacted when Sami didn't marry you. How is he gonna react when he finds out you're involved with Carrie?
Austin: I know. We hurt a lot of people.
Kate: Well, I know exactly what he's gonna do.
Austin: What? What is he gonna do?
Kate: Well, his fondest wish has always been for his parents to get back together again.
Austin: Is that so bad?
Kate: He ran away. He scared them to death. They're gonna be putty in his hands. He'll probably be matchmaking with a vengeance.
E.J.: Will was certainly furious with his mother earlier.
Kate: Well, in 10 minutes, he's going to be furious with Austin and Carrie. And then he's probably going to forgive Sami. He always does. And if Lucas forgives her, as well -- as unhappy as he is now, he doesn't know the meaning of misery.
Will: I'm home, aren't I?
Sami: But you're still angry at me.
Will: Well, yeah. I don't understand why you did what you did.. You had us all convinced that you were changed, that things were finally going to be different. I got up in a church in front of everybody and told them how proud I was of you. And then you walked out on Uncle Austin.
Sami: Wait. I know, okay? And I know it's hard to understand. But when I was standing there, all of a sudden I realized that I would never be able to live up to Austin's expectations of me.
Will: So, you just left him at the altar there, standing like an idiot? He felt so bad. We all did. Mom, sometimes I'm really embarrassed to be your son.
Sami: Will, don't talk to me like that.
Lucas: He didn't mean it, all right? Is that why you didn't want to show up at school?
Will: Every time I've been close to being happy, mom does something to screw it up. Austin could never take your place, Dad, but at least this way, I would have felt like I was part of a real family -- well, two real families I mean you married Aunt Carrie.
Lucas: Yeah, listen, I know how important that is to you, but there's something I got to tell you.
John: So, how old is this stain? Have they identified the blood type so they can match it up against Marlena's?
Roman: The lab is running tests. Now, I'm having Marlena's medical records faxed to the Trenton P.D.
Bo: John, I hate to say this --
John: You're thinking whoever targeted the Brady’s could be responsible for this, too, huh, Bo?
Roman: You know what, Bo? I think while you're running John to the airport, I'll have a little visit with Patrick Lockhart.
John: He would have been behind bars when this happened.
Bo: Yeah, but he did work for the DiMeras. And considering their history with Marlena... I hope you get information out of Lockhart.
Roman: I got to break this guy. Marlena's life could depend on it.
Carrie: I hate that Kate says that Sami would be the worst thing for Lucas. She loves him a lot more than I ever did. I think they would be really happy together.
Austin: I think so, too. You know what? I'm telling you, everything is gonna work out in the end.
Carrie: Not if your mom has anything to do with it.
Austin: They don't need us interfering. They're grown-ups. They can figure out their own life.
Carrie: I know.
Austin: Plus, I don't think Lucas is gonna be ready to jump back into the dating game anytime soon.
Carrie: No, you're right.
Austin: Enough about them. Let's talk about us. Talking to your dad -- did that make you feel better?
Carrie: About you and me?
Austin: You and me? What did he say?
Carrie: He made me see that I'm human and that I made a mistake -- a big mistake -- and that I need to grow from it. And he also said that a love like ours only comes around once in a lifetime, and I shouldn't turn my back on it.
Austin: He's a wise man. That gave me chills.
Carrie: He also said that he'll never stop regretting not going for Marlena.
Austin: What's wrong? Okay, wait, you're not having second thoughts?
Carrie: No, no. I was at the police station, and my dad and I decided to call Marlena in New Jersey. And the commissioner -- or the guy that she's working for said that she was supposed to come to the hospital to open a clinic, and she never showed up. So, nobody knows where she is, and we're really worried about her.
Austin: Wow, I don't know what to say about that, except that I'm sorry you're going through that. I mean, the only thing I can say is everybody was worried about Will, and he turned out to be okay. I think Marlena will, too.
E.J.: Interesting. So, you really think that Sami would make a move on Lucas?
Kate: Sami would make a move on anything in pants. But that is beside the point
E.J.: Really? Well, what is the point?
Kate: The point is, I don't think she can get Lucas out of her system.
E.J.: Maybe we should see what we can do about that, huh?
Lucas: Look, I know there's a lot we got to work out, but there's something I got to tell you. There's something you should know.
Will: Oh, God, now what?
Lucas: Carrie and I split up.
Will: What is it with my parents and relationships? I know couples in ninth grade who stay together longer.
Lucas: Come on, Will. Don't do this to me, all right? It wasn't my idea to call off the marriage.
Sami: Look, you have to understand. Your Aunt Carrie and Uncle Austin, they realized that they still love each other and that they want to be together.
Will: Oh, my God. I just think my whole family is just screwed up.
Lucas: All right, we're gonna work this out for the best, all right?
Lucas: We'll spend more time together, just the two of us.
Will: Okay. Dad, I'm sorry you and Aunt Carrie -- that just sucks.
Lucas: Yeah, well, you know what? It's all moving upward for all of us. I got to tell you, there's got to be some consequences for your actions. I mean, you can't just get away with this, buddy. I'm gonna have to ground you.
Will: For how long?
Sami: I agree with your father. And don't argue. That'll just make it worse.
Lucas: One more thing -- you're gonna need more constant parenting from the both of us, so I think I'm just gonna move in with you and your mom.
Will: Are you serious?
Lucas: Yeah. Yeah, if it's okay with your mother.
Sami: Look, Lucas, we took the other bedroom and made it an office, so there's only two bedrooms.
Lucas: I'm sure we can work something out.
Theo: Tek, we're going to the museum.
Tek: Yeah, are you gonna see the exhibit?
Tek: All right. I bet you I know who your favorite basketball team is -- the Toronto Raptors, huh?
Lexie: Now, how did you know that?
Abe: Look, big man, we better get out of here, huh?
Tek: Have fun. Be careful, okay? You be careful too.
Abe: Let's go.
John: I'd better get moving if I'm gonna make this flight.
Roman: Yeah. Well, good luck, John. I'm counting on you.
John: Don’t worry, Roman. I'm gonna find her, and I'm gonna bring her back safe.
Hope: Shawn is going to want to be involved in raising Claire, and he should be. I just hope to God that he takes into consideration what Philip will be going through.
Belle: Philip, what is it?
Philip: It's Shawn. He's trying to take Claire away from us.
Mimi: Shawn knows that Claire is his daughter now. My life with him isn't going to change.
Max: Too bad we work in a profession where you have to wear a helmet.
