Hope: Hello? Anybody here? Patrick?

Patrick: Good evening.

Hope: I got your message to meet you here.

Patrick: I'm glad you could make it.

Hope: Mm-hmm.

Patrick: You look beautiful.

Hope: Thank you., What's going on? I thought we were having dinner.

Patrick: Oh, we are, but as I said, it's a very special dinner.

Hope: I know. But when you said a special dinner, I naturally assumed the Penthouse Grill, Chez Rouge, not a private plane.

Patrick: Well, we aren't eating on the private plane.

Hope: Okay. So, where are you taking me for this special meal?

Patrick: How does New York City sound?

Bo: You looking to be the night watchman around here, hmm? You're gonna need a bigger flashlight than that.

Kayla: Hi, Bo.

Bo: Hey, did you lose your keys or something? What happened?

Kayla: Actually, I was just gonna go look for Steve at the pier.

Bo: Well, you're gonna need a better flashlight than that. Something happen with you guys?

Kayla: Well, it's not so much that something happened. It's that something isn't happening.

Bo: What do you mean?

Kayla: Well, I mean, I knew that it wasn't gonna be easy for us to try to get back what we once had. I mean, so much has happened, and after all, he doesn't even remember me. It's just that I have been trying so hard.

Bo: I know you have. Hey, he'll come around. It's just gonna take some time.

Kayla: Well, that's what I kept telling myself but I don't think I believe that anymore.

Bo: Why not?

Kayla: Because he just told me so, just a little while ago. He said that it wasn't gonna work out and that I should just forget about him...

Bo: Hey.

Kayla: ...That he's never gonna be the man that I remember, and he's not even sure if he wants to be.

Bo: Come on he just freaked out. Put yourself in his shoes. This whole thing is pretty overwhelming.

Kayla: Yeah, well, and I think maybe I did something really stupid. I arranged this quiet, romantic dinner over at the Salem Inn, and I had all of his favorite foods. I just was thinking that, you know -- well, actually I don't know what I was thinking. I've just been pushing and pushing him, and now I think I've pushed him too far. He said it wouldn't work, and he just walked out.

Bo: You think he went down to the pier?

Kayla: Well, I don't know, really, but that's where he used to go when he was upset. And I just thought maybe some old instinct might take over. I'm really just scraping at straws.

Bo: Yeah, I know the feeling. But you're not gonna give up, right?

Kayla: No, that's why I'm going down to the pier to look for him.

Bo: Okay, well, you're not going down there alone.

Kayla: Bo, come on. I used to work at the Riverfront Clinic. I went down there by myself all the time.

Bo: And as I recall, you were attacked.

Kayla: And Steve was there for me. And I need to be here for him. I got to go find him.

Bo: Okay, then I'll help.

Kayla: Okay.

Steve: You are good at much more than just darts.

Billie: I'd say you're a man of many talents yourself.

Steve: It's good to meet someone who appreciates living in the moment, not the past, not the future.

Billie: Moment to moment.

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of our Lives.

Hope: You arranged a private plane to fly us to New York for dinner?

Patrick: Why not? All the best restaurants in the country are in New York, and you deserve the very best. So, what do you say? Are you up for it?

Hope: I say, I, uh -- no one has ever, ever done something like this for me. I mean, sometimes Bo and I would sail the Fancy Face up the coast a ways and have dinner, but I mean, this -- this is just a whole other thing.

Patrick: Well, that's the point. I wanted to do something to help you forget about the past and focus on the future -- our future and the baby's.

Hope: This is expensive. Just the other day, you were telling me that you needed a steady job to pay the rent.

Patrick: No, no, no, it's completely free. I had a special favor I called in.

Hope: You mean like on the island? How many special favors do you have, Mr. Lockhart?

Patrick: Well, not that many left, as a matter of fact, but I am saving the rest for you and the baby.

Marty: Mr. Lockhart, the tower has cleared us for takeoff. Is it a go?

Patrick: Well, what do you say? It’s up to you, Hope

Hope: I say we got to eat, and one of my favorite things is eating. Let's go.

Patrick: Yes, it is. All right. Okay. Marty, yeah, we're going to New York. Thanks. Get ready for a whole new adventure.

Billie: I got an idea. What do you say we go somewhere we can get to know each other a little better and -- I don't know. I don't know. Are you game?

Steve: For whatever you want to play. Just lead the way.

Billie: Okay. Oh, my purse. I got it.

Bo: Hey.

Kayla: Hey.

Bo: Any better luck than I have?

Bo: Nope. Checked with all the cops on the waterfront out there looking for little Will. No one's seen Steve.

Kayla: Great.

Bo: Hey, Jake.

Jake: Bo, hey, man. What can I get you?

Bo: Well, I'm looking for someone. His name is Steve. He wears an eye patch.

Jake: Sorry, haven't seen him.

Bo: Oh, shoot. Okay. I'll have a beer.

Jake: My shift's over. I'll tell Roy.

Bo: Okay, thanks, man.

Kayla: You know, maybe he's left town already. Maybe he's already gone to Cincinnati or God knows where else.

Bo: Last time he went to Cincinnati, he got there, turned right around, and came back home to you.

Kayla: Yeah, and as soon as he got here, he realized that he had made a big mistake. He's just antsy all day. He doesn't know anybody. He doesn't know where to go. I think he misses his friends and the bar he used to hang out in.

Bo: Why don't you have him come here? He used to love this place.

Kayla: I would if I ever see him again.

Bo: Hey, come on.

Kayla: No, I just have that awful feeling in the pit of my stomach like I did in high school, like this time that I went to the drive-in looking for Charlie Hanna.

Bo: Who?

Kayla: Charlie Hanna, the love of my life in high school, remember -- the captain of the track team, sandy blond hair, big brown eyes?

Bo: Sorry, don't remember.

Kayla: Come on! I had a crush on him for years.

Bo: Really?

Kayla: This one time, he took me to Shenanigans. We had the best time, I thought. And then he didn't call me for two weeks. Then when he finally did call me to take me to the homecoming dance, he spent the entire night talking to Kimberly. I tell you, Kim and I had a very big fight that night.

Bo: I think I remember that night. Didn't you lock yourself in the bathroom? And Roman knocked on the door so hard, he knocked it off its hinges or put his fist --

Kayla: That was you, loser.

Bo: Oh. Yeah. Right. One bathroom, four kids -- what do you expect? We are gonna get out of here. We're gonna look for him. We're gonna find him, and it's gonna be okay.

Kayla: I hope you're right.

Bo: Let's check the pier, the other end, okay?

Billie: It's one of the best -- oh, sorry, were you going to get that?

Steve: I was supposed to get that.

Billie: So chivalry isn't dead.

Steve: Oh! Look at this now.

Billie: Yeah.

Steve: Now, this is my kind of dive.

Billie: Well, I kind of thought you might like it. So, why don't you put some music on the jukebox, and I'll get us something to drink?

Steve: Oh-Katydid.

Billie: Oh-Katy who?

Steve: It just means okay.

Billie: All right, what are you drinking?

Steve: I'll start with a beer.

Billie: You got it.

Roy: Billie!

Billie: Hi, Roy.

Roy: I haven't seen you in I don't know how long.

Billie: I know!

Roy: Still drinking that sparkling water?

Billie: Yes, thanks please.

Roy: Right. So, where you been hiding yourself?

Billie: That's a good question. But you know what? I'm not hiding anymore.

Roy: I can see that. You're looking good.

Billie: Oh, thanks. I'm feeling good.

Marty: We've reached our cruising altitude. You can feel free to move about the cabin now.

Patrick: All right.

Hope: Hey, where are you going?

Patrick: I have planned a little in-flight snack for you. I mean, expectant mothers are supposed to eat, what, six small meals a day, right?

Hope: Wow. Impressive. Sounds like you've done your reading.

Patrick: Oh, I have. I know you need your folic acid, your calcium, your essential fatty acids, and protein.

Hope: Wow, it sounds like my snack's gonna be delicioso.

Patrick: Madame, may I present to you cookies and some --

Hope: Milk!

Patrick: That's right. I found this recipe online. It has organic flour. It is sweetened with fruit juice instead of sugar. And of course, the best part -- it's fortified with vitamins.

Hope: Since when do you bake?

Patrick: I just had to follow the directions. How hard can it be?

Hope: It's not bad. Sorry.

Patrick: You know, you don't have to sound quite so shocked.

Hope: No, but I am. It's delicious. So, is this also organic, unsweetened, sugar-free chocolate, as well?

Patrick: Well, there I cheated just a little bit. I know what a chocoholic you are.

Hope: This little one, too.

Patrick: Yeah, you know, maybe we should name her cocoa.

Hope: Why don't we just name her bittersweet?

Patrick: Well, look, if you still don't want to know the sex of our baby, we have to think of a boy's name and a girl’s name. It's twice the work. So, have you given any thought to a name?

Hope: I don't know. I mean, Shawn Douglas was named after both of his grandfathers, and of course, we didn't name Zack. That was Abe and Lexie. So, I think it's gonna be trickier.

Patrick: What do you think about the name Addie?

Hope: Addie? That's my mother's name.

Patrick: I know.

Hope: Thank you for everything that you've done for us. It's incredibly sweet, incredibly thoughtful.

Patrick: Well, here is to our sweet baby-to-be.

Hope: Cheers.

Kayla: No, he is not here.

Bo: Come on, Kay. We just started looking.

Kayla: You know, you are a very good brother, but this is a waste of time.

Bo: Hey, stop. You can't give up now. We'll find him.

Kayla: You know, he said it's over. I mean, do you think I'm just a wacko woman that I am chasing after him like this?

Bo: No, no, not a wacko woman, but, you know, maybe we should quit for tonight, give him some time alone to think.

Kayla: You mean for me to stop pressuring him, right?

Bo: No. Maybe once he sleeps on it, he'll wake up and realize that he made a mistake walking out on you.

Kayla: But at doesn't? Maybe he's already left Salem, for all I know.

Bo: He wouldn't do that.

Kayla: You know, when I first met Nick, he reminded me so much of the old Steve. I just kept telling myself it would be like falling in love all over again. But maybe he's right. Maybe too much has happened, too much has changed.

Bo: It doesn't matter how much has happened. Deep inside him, he loves you. Eventually he'll remember that.

Kayla: And what if he doesn't? And what if I have been reunited with him just to lose him all over again?

Steve: All right, so, what do you say? Did I pass the music test?

Billie: It's one of my favorites.

Steve: Mine too.

Billie: Oh. I'm thinking that we have a lot in common.

Steve: Yeah -- dive bars, Trick Pony, what else?

Billie: We both like to play games.

Steve: Yeah, we do, don't we?

Billie: Mm-hmm.

Steve: Well, now, we've already done the dart thing. What other games do you like to play?

Billie: I think I mentioned this before.

Steve: Hmm?

Billie: Pinball.

Steve: Pinball.

Bo: Steve just needs to be reminded of what the two of you had, and that's gonna take some time. I mean, it took some time to begin with, right?

Kayla: But this didn’t. Now he feels like he has something to live up to, but he doesn't know what that is because he doesn't remember our life together. We had five years together. Now he has had three times that amount living a completely different life without me and without a daughter.

Bo: Okay, I understand that. But inside, he's the same person.

Kayla: How could he be the same inside when everything has been wiped out -- all of his memories and all of his experiences? No, wait, wait, wait. You know what? I take that back, actually, because now new experiences and new memories have replaced the ones that used to be special to him.

Bo: Okay. His memories may be gone, but his heart is still the same. I've got an old sailors' analogy for you.

Kayla: Oh, brother.

Bo: It's a good one.

Kayla: Oh.

Bo: The heart is like a compass. It's always pointing in the right direction. All you got to do is follow it.

Kayla: But what if he doesn't follow his heart?

Bo: Oh, come on. Help me out here. Listen, I've known Steve an awful lot longer than you have, and yes, he's stubborn. He pushes people away. But once you find that little chink in his armor, he's a very loyal friend.

Kayla: And a really good husband and a wonderful father. He just doesn't know it anymore.

Bo: Oh, come on. You guys are soul mates, and no matter what happens, no matter what obstacles you face, you'll wind up together.

Kayla: Let me ask you a question. Who are you really talking about -- me and Steve or you and Hope?

Bo: Yeah...both.

Kayla: How are things going with the two of you?

Bo: Oh. A good sign -- she did invite me to the ultrasound.

Kayla: Great.

Bo: But I was late. She got pissed, and her Boy Scout was there for her.

Kayla: Ouch for you.

Bo: Yeah, ouch. I got, just, hung up on trying to prove to her that I didn't steal that damn evidence disc. But I am making some progress. Kate Roberts admitted she paid off Eve Michaels to steal the disc. Now we got a murdered officer.

Bo: Yeah. The problem is, I don't have that disc in my hand, and that's what Hope needs -- solid evidence. The friggin' divorce hearing's tomorrow.

Kayla: I'm sorry.

Bo: God, don't be sorry. -- it is not gonna happen. I will prove to Hope that she can trust me again. This marriage isn't over, not by a long shot.

Hope: Oh. I am through.

Patrick: What? You haven't finished all of your cookies yet.

Hope: Are you serious? Do you know how many cookies I ate? If I ate another cookie, there is absolutely no way I'd be able to eat the meal that we're flying to New York for. So, I'll tell you what -- I'm gonna put the rest of these cookies back in the galley so I'm not even tempted to eat them.

Patrick: Oh, no, no, no. It look -- look. Tonight is all about me waiting on you.

Hope: Oh!

Patrick: Whoa.

Hope: Oh! Oh! There go the cookies.

Marty: Sorry, Mr. Lockhart. We hit a little unexpected turbulence back there.

Patrick: All right?

Hope: Yeah, I'm fine.

Steve: You are good.

Billie: I told you.

Steve: Good pinball. Hey, give me another brew, please, and --

Roy: Sparkling water with lime for the lady.

Billie: You got it. Thanks, Roy.

Steve: Sparkling water? I thought that was gin. You sure you don't want something a little stronger?

Billie: No. My drinking days are behind me.

Steve: Really?

Billie: Mm-hmm.

Steve: You AA?

Billie: Actually, alcohol wasn't my problem. It was drugs. I just don't want to tempt fate, you know?

Steve: Oh. You all right in here, in this place, I mean, the drinking?

Billie: Yeah, absolutely. But thanks for asking. Besides, they probably wouldn't serve me here anymore.

Steve: Oh. Sounds like a good story.

Billie: No, not really.

Steve: Okay, well, you don't have to tell me any of it if you don't want..

Billie: That's okay. Actually, talking about it reminds me of why I don't ever want to do anything like that again... any of it. Do you remember how I told you earlier that I was taking myself off everything?

Steve: Yeah.

Billie: It's because I caused some serious trouble in a friend's marriage.

Steve: Oh. Well, I always say it takes two to tango.

Billie: Yeah, but if I hadn't asked him to dance, he might not have heard the music.

Steve: Was it a good friend?

Billie: He still is. It's Bo and Hope Brady.

Steve: I see.

Billie: I just want you to know that I have a serious reputation here in Salem.

Steve: You're a bad girl, huh?

Billie: I'm serious, Steve.

Steve: Yeah, yeah, okay, I'm sorry. I didn't mean anything by it. You know, I've been spending a little time with Bo lately, and from what I can tell, he's a one-woman kind of dude.

Billie: Yeah, he is. And that woman is Hope. I mean, I didn't want to accept it for a long time, but I finally have, and that part of my life is over.

Steve: You sure?

Billie: Does this answer your question?

Kayla: I hope you're right. All of us are rooting for you and Hope to get back together. And if there's anything that I can do to help...

Bo: Thanks. Steve's been working hard to help me find that disc so I can save my marriage. You see? He is a romantic.

Kayla: You don't have to tell me.

Bo: There you go. You know, like ma always said, you got to have faith.

Kayla: Well, that's easier said than done sometimes.

Bo: Maybe. But you're not giving up any time soon.

Kayla: I can't give up. How can I give up? We're soul mates. Steve is -- we both are the love of each other's lives. But if I keep trusting that and if I keep thinking that, it's all gonna work out, right?

Bo: Absolutely. Come here. I love you, sis.

Kayla: I love you, too. Thanks for the pep talk.

Bo: Hm-hmm.

Kayla: And listen, I never would have even met Steve if it wasn't for you.

Bo: Yeah.

Kayla: What?

Bo: Look at you.

Kayla: Oh.

Bo: How classy you are. You know, I'm your brother. I grew up with you. What happened to me?

Kayla: Do you really want me to answer that question?

Bo: [Laughing] What? What is that?

Kayla: Well, you know what? When I remember the people that you dated before Hope -- I mean, come on. What about that one girl? Every time she laughed, her nose blew bubbles and everything. Remember that?

Bo: Oh! God, that was dis -- well, what about your little track-star hero guy? He had the worst BO. How could you even get close to him?

Kayla: Well, so did you.

Bo: Maybe, but I smelled like a rose.

Kayla: So you thought.

Bo: Come on. I'll walk you to your car.

Kayla: No, no, no, no. I have a better idea. Why don't I buy you a drink?

Bo: That sounds great. You want to go over to the pub?

Kayla: No, let's just go to the Cheating Heart. It's right here.

Bo: Sure. Fine.

Kayla: If you have time. I know you have a lot to do for tomorrow.

Bo: Yes, I do. But maybe you could help me think of this case from a different angle. I mean, I keep remembering how the four of us used to work together.

Kayla: You want me to help you try to figure out this case?

Bo: Yeah, sure I do.

Kayla: I'm a doctor. I'm not a detective.

Bo: You're smart. No one knows Hope better than you do. There's got to be a way to keep her from going through with this divorce, and maybe you can help find a way.

Marty: Mr. Lockhart, I have changed altitude to avoid any further turbulence. The rest of your flight should be nice and smooth.

Patrick: Thanks, Marty. And, uh, thanks for that little bit of turbulence, too.

Hope: You planned that, didn't you?

Patrick: Absolutely not. But I did plan another surprise for you.

Hope: Don't tell me. Let me guess. Uh, let's see. Uh... dinner in New York, then we jet off to Paris for a chocolate soufflé with extra cream.

Patrick: Oh!

Hope: What do you think?

Patrick: Why didn't I think of that?

Hope: Because I would have killed you. This is already way too much.

Patrick: You may think so, but this -- this isn’t.

Hope: Oh, my gosh. It's beautiful. I don't believe it. I saw this in the store the other day. It cost a fortune.

Patrick: Well, nothing is too good for my baby or his or her mother.

Hope: I can't believe you bought this. I mean, all of these gifts -- the private plane, dinner in New York. Patrick, really, it's much more than just calling in a favor, isn't it? I mean, where'd you get all the money to pay for this?

Hope: Patrick, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to pry. It's just, I know what rookie cops make. Before you started at the academy, you were -- well, you weren't -- you weren't working -- not at all. This is hundreds of dollars worth of baby things.

Patrick: Don't worry about it.

Hope: No, I am. I'm worried. I don't want you to end up in credit-card debt over all this -- over the baby, over me.

Patrick: Don't you think you'd be worth it?

Hope: That's not the point.

Patrick: But no, look, I'm not. I had a chunk of money saved away.

Hope: Even so, Patrick, this is lovely and I do appreciate everything, but you should be saving for the future -- for your future, the baby's, not blowing your whole nest egg on something that we really don't need.

Patrick: Trust me. There will always be enough money for me to provide for you and the baby.

Hope: You don't know that. No one does.

Patrick: No, I do.

Hope: Things happen. You could lose your job. There could be an unforeseen emergency or uncovered medical bills.

Patrick: Hope, I realize all this. I do, believe me. I wasn't born with a trust fund.

Hope: I'm sorry.

Patrick: Look -- look, all I meant was...my mom couldn't give me a bank account, so she taught me how to survive. Whatever life has thrown at me, I've always been able to make do. And I always will.

Billie: Mmm. Okay, no, this has to stop. This has got to stop right now.

Steve: Why?

Billie: Why? Why? What did I just tell you? What the hell am I doing?

Steve: It's pretty obvious, isn't it?

Billie: Oh, gosh. I'm serious. We can't do this.

Steve: Wait, wait, wait, wait. What's going on here?

Roy: All right, all right. One beer, one sparkling water.

Steve: How much do I owe you?

Roy: Don't worry about it. I'll run you a tab.

Steve: Okay, man, thanks. Okay, now, so, where were we?

Billie: I'm serious. This isn't right.

Steve: Why?

Billie: Why? Why? Kayla.

Steve: I told you that's not happening.

Billie: Yeah, you say that today.

Steve: It's not gonna change, Billie.

Billie: Regardless, okay? You guys are still technically married. I just told you that I came between Bo and Hope. I will not be the other woman. I will not come between you and her. I won't do it to you. Hell, I won't do it to me. I'm sorry. This is my fault. But listen, I'm sticking to sparkling water, and I'm sticking to single men.

Steve: What happened to living in the moment?

Billie: This is living in the moment. This is the moment where I realize that I don't want to involved with someone who's already involved with someone else.

Steve: But I'm not. I don't even remember Kayla. I don't remember the guy who was involved with her.

Billie: What happens when you do?

Steve: I don’t think it’s gonna happen.

Billie: Well, odds were pretty good for me and Bo, too. Everyone thought Hope was dead, but she wasn't, and she got her memory back, too. I'm not gonna be a temporary substitute.

Steve: Come on, Billie. You're not a temporary substitute. You're all I'm thinking about right now.

Billie: Oh, I'm flattered, okay?

Steve: I hope you're more than that.

Billie: Oh, I am. I -- I like you.

Steve: Why?

Billie: Because you're cute. And because I'm attracted to you.

Steve: Okay.

Billie: But that's where it's got to end. It stops right there.

Steve: All right, all right. Listen... [Laughs] I respect that.

Billie: Good.

Steve: I do.

Billie: Good.

Steve: Alright, how about -- listen. Just have one dance first.

Billie: No, it's not a good idea.

Steve: Come on. I put in all those quarters. Just give me one dance. Call it a farewell.

Billie: Okay. Okay. One dance.

Steve: Okay. Something sexy about the rain

Kayla: Well, that's what I was saying. It's not --

Bo: And everything she did was perfect

Hope: I know so many people have been suspicious of you since you came back to Salem and accused you of horrible things. I just truly wish that they could see you the way I do. Then they would never doubt that you have a good heart.

Patrick: And it's all yours, for the rest of our lives, if you want it. I love you, Hope, and I always will.

Hope: Patrick... you know that I'm not ready for a long-term commitment, right? I haven't even divorced Bo yet.

Patrick: Yeah, I know. I didn't mean to pressure you.

Hope: I know.

Patrick: This little trip was supposed to relax you, help take your mind off the divorce hearing.

Hope: It has, partly. It's complicated.

Patrick: Well, you're still going through with it, aren't you?

Kayla: Excuse me.

Bo: Kay, wait.

Kayla: Well, I can see you're having a good time.

Steve: Kayla, what are you doing --

Billie: This is nothing. It's nothing.

Kayla: You know, ever since you left that hotel room, I have been looking everywhere for you, but I guess I didn't really need to worry because apparently you're just fine, both of you.

Billie: Kayla, this is not how I wanted you to find us tonight.

Kayla: Oh, I bet it's not.

Billie: No, it's not. This was just a dance, Kayla.

Bo: What are you thinking? He's a married man.

Steve: Hey, hey, don't jump all over Billie.

Bo: Whether you remember it or not, you're married to my sister.

Steve: I’m not trying to hurt Kayla.

Bo: Well, you could have fooled me.

Steve: Kayla, listen. You got all these plans and all these ideas about what we are and how we're supposed to be. And I just don't remember any of it, you know? It's just too much. I can't just flip a switch and become this person you want me to be. I needed space, so I took off.

Bo: Yeah, and ran straight to Billie.

Steve: No, no, I didn't plan to see her. I just ran into her.

Kayla: You know, I really don't want to know what happened.

Billie: Okay, listen. Nothing happened. It was just a dance.

Kayla: Yeah because Bo I just happened to show up.

Billie: No, because I already told Steve that I didn't want to come between you two.

Kayla: And why would you need to tell him that unless -- you wanted something to happen with Billie, didn't you? Didn't you?

Bo: Kay, come on. Let's go.

Kayla: You know what you said to me back in that hotel room? You were right. You really aren't the man that I used to know.

Bo: You hurt my sister again, you'll regret it.

Steve: So much for living in the moment, huh? I'm sorry about that.

Billie: No, I'm sorry. I should have stopped it much sooner.

Steve: Why should you have?

Billie: Why?

Steve: Yeah.

Billie: [Sighs] You may not remember being married to Kayla, but there's nothing wrong with you, and I don't want to hurt her.

Steve: I don't want to hurt her either. I may be legally married to Kayla. You know, I don't even know for sure. She said she loves me. She wants everything back the way it was. You heard her. I'm not the man she used to know, whoever the hell that was.

Billie: I don't know what to say, Steve.

Steve: Nick. You don't have to say anything. I think we understand each other. You know I'm right about that. Now, I don't know what I'm gonna do about my so-called marriage, but I have a feeling we're not done yet.

Bo: Let me drive you back to the hotel.

Kayla: No, no, listen, my car is here, and I can drive myself.

Bo: I know you can drive yourself, but I don't think you should.

Kayla: Well, you're a good brother, but really, I'm okay -- really.

Bo: Oh, yeah, that was convincing.

Kayla: Listen, Bo, I got through losing Steve once, and I can do it again.

Bo: Whoa, whoa, that is not gonna happen. You're not gonna lose him again.

Kayla: Come on. You saw him there with Billie. You heard him. He doesn't want to be with me.

Bo: And I heard Billie, too. She's not interested, believe me.

Kayla: Well, then he'll just find himself another Billie.

Bo: No, he is not. You know as well as I do, somewhere inside him is your husband.

Kayla: Do you really believe that?

Bo: Have I ever lied to you?

Kayla: About a thousand times.

Bo: Okay. Have I ever lied to you about anything serious?

Kayla: No.

Bo: Okay, look, things will work out with you guys. It's not gonna be easy, but they'll work out, all right?

Kayla: Things are gonna work out for you and Hope, too.

Bo: Yeah, I hope so. You drive careful, all right?

Kayla: I will. Good luck at that hearing tomorrow. Are you sure you don't want me to come?

Bo: No, I'm gonna find that evidence disc. There won't even be a hearing.. And hope -- she'll forget all about that divorce.

Kayla: Okay.

Bo: Good night.

Hope: Bo and I have been together for so many years. There will always be a special connection between us. When Shawn was in the hospital with alcohol poisoning, in spite of everything that Bo and I were going through, I mean, he was wonderful to me. We were a family in crisis, he was there. And that's all that mattered.

Patrick: But then when you asked him to come to the ultrasound, where was he?

Hope: I know. I just can't -- I can't stop thinking about all the times that Bo lied to me to protect Chelsea at any cost, including my son's life. 200 hours of community service for murdering my baby? Oh, God, Patrick, that. That I will never, ever get over.

Patrick: Do you still believe that Bo is the one who stole the surveillance disc that shows Chelsea reaching for her cellphone when she hit Zack?

Hope: Part of me does. I can never trust him.

Patrick: You do realize that we may never know for sure who took that disc.

Hope: I know.

Patrick: So, where does that leave you?

Hope: I can't spend the rest of my life waiting. I have the baby to think about -- this baby that I'm carrying. And just because I'm not ready to make a long-term commitment yet.... the answer to your question -- yes. I plan on going through with the divorce hearing tomorrow. And once that's over, then my life with Bo is over.

Abby: Thank God I found you. My mom and dad are missing.

Jennifer: I can't imagine what Frankie must be thinking right now.

Jack: You and I ran off together.

Bo: I don't want to see you in this office again.

Patrick: What is wrong with you, Bo? Are you scared I'm gonna take your job like I took your wife?

Bo: You son of a bitch.

Hope: When he stole that evidence disc, that really was the last straw, Gran.

Alice: You don't really believe that Bo did that, do you?
