Stephanie: What else?
Max: [Grunts] You know, this is completely crazy. The deeper we get into this, the more, I think, there's a hell of a lot less to salvage.
Stephanie: Well, I still say we can do it. If we rebuild the engine, replace the fuel lines, front suspension, exhaust manifold, the rest is pretty much bodywork.
Max: Oh, you make it sound so simple. I don't quite get why you're doing this.
Stephanie: Doing what?
Max: Helping me -- the competition.
Stephanie: Well, maybe I don't see you as competition.
Max: Oh, thanks.
Stephanie: [Chuckles] I'm kidding.
Max: I'm not so sure.
Stephanie: Seriously, this is fun for me. There's nothing I love more than a challenge.
Max: That's what I -- I get that about you.
Stephanie: Plus, I know how much this car means to you, but God knows why.
Max: Excuse me? What was that?
Stephanie: You said yourself she's been unpredictable the last few races..
Max: Yeah, but, Stef, I've poured my blood, my tears, and my sweat into this thing. I pretty much built this car from scratch. I'm just a tiny bit attached to it.
Stephanie: You know what I think? I think race cars are a lot like relationships -- sometimes they can turn out to be more trouble than they're worth.
Abby: Thanks for waiting for me.
Chelsea: No problem. How's your dad?
Abby: He's still pretty out of it, but he's hanging in there. Hopefully this new trial drug is working.
Chelsea: It'll work, Abby. I know it will. Hey, if there's one thing we all know about your dad, it's he's a survivor, right? I mean, seriously, I'm surprised he's not in the Guinness Book of World Records after everything he's been through.
Abby: You know, you're right. He's gonna get better and [Sighs] hopefully he will.
Chelsea: He will. You ready to go?
Abby: Yeah, um, I'm just gonna go say goodbye to my mom.
Chelsea: Okay, take your time. I still have to figure out a way to get Max to forget about Mrs. Goodwrench. That's it.
Lexie: She still here?
Frankie: Yeah. She hasn't left his side.
Lexie: She must be exhausted.
Frankie: She's barely had anything to eat.
Lexie: Hmm. That's not good.
Frankie: No. I just wish there was something I could do.
Lexie: Maybe there is. Follow me.
Maggie: All right. Well, I think Sami is gonna be very impressed. You've got her favorite flowers and her favorite music and her favorite dinner and champagne.
Austin: And dessert.
Maggie: Oh, right, the most important thing.
Austin: All right, thank you. Thank you so much.
Maggie: Oh, aren't you sweet?
Austin: I could not have done this without your help.
Maggie: Well, you called the right person. I just happen to be very good at drumming up special romantic dinners.
Austin: You think she's really gonna like this?
Maggie: Well, if she doesn't like it, there's something wrong with her. And then, again, you know what? I'm not gonna go there. If you love Sami and Sami loves you, that's all that matters.
Austin: Oh, excuse me. I'm sorry.
Maggie: Oh, sure.
Carrie: Austin, it's Carrie.
Austin: Carrie, perfect timing. I'm just about ready. You and Lucas can come up any time.
Carrie: Actually, that's why I'm calling. I don't think that we'll be able to make it.
Austin: Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. Is everything all right?
Carrie: Yeah, um, Lexie just called and asked Lucas and me to come down to her office. She just wants to go over my test results.
Austin: There isn't a problem, is there? The baby's okay?
Carrie: We haven't seen her yet. I'm sure the baby's fine.
Austin: But she couldn't tell you over the phone?
Carrie: You know, I think she just wanted to make sure that I was all right. I'm sorry if we spoiled your evening with Sami.
Austin: No, you didn't spoil anything. I just want you and the baby to be okay.
Carrie: We're fine. I've never felt better. I promise.
Austin: Good, well, maybe you can join us for dessert later.
Carrie: That sounds great. We'll be there. Bye.
Maggie: Austin, is everything okay?
Austin: I hope so.
E.J.: You look beautiful.
Sami: Thank you. E.J., you look very handsome yourself. I don't know why I bothered to get dressed up. This night isn't gonna happen.
E.J.: Why would you say that?
Sami: Oh, come on, you know it, too. As soon as Austin finds out what I have done, he's not gonna want to have anything to do with me.
E.J.: Samantha, listen to me. Listen to me. If Austin can't forgive you for whatever you've done, then he doesn't deserve you.
Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of our Lives.
Sami: That's very sweet of you, E.J.
E.J.: I wasn't saying it to be sweet. I meant that.
Sami: But I don't know if you would mean that still if you knew what I had done.
E.J.: It doesn't matter what you've done. If Austin loves you...and I know that he does, if you come forward and you tell him the truth, he's going to be able to find a way to forgive you.
Sami: The truth.
E.J.: Yes, the truth. You remember the thing that's gonna set you free?
Sami: Whoever said that doesn't know me and certainly doesn't know what I'm capable of.
E.J.: We all make mistakes.
Sami: Not like mine.
E.J.: Look, I've made plenty of mistakes, serious ones. One in particular, you know.
Sami: What? Do you mean about the woman that you told me about from England, the one that you loved so much?
E.J.: I should never have let her go.
Sami: You said that she chose to pursue her career rather than being with you.
E.J.: But I can't help but feel that if I'd fought for her, really fought for her...maybe things would have worked out okay. Maybe we'd still be together. And that's why I think it's so important that you have to fight for Austin, because if you don't come forward and tell him the truth and he finds out that you've lied, you really don't have a chance.
Sami: You don't understand. You're preaching to the choir. I am all for fighting for the man that I want to be with. I just have to find a way to make Austin understand what I did. I don't want to lose him to Carrie.
Austin: Oh, my.
Austin: Just when I thought you couldn't get more beautiful. You look amazing.
Sami: Thank you.
Sami: You told me tonight was special, so I...
Austin: Well, something tells me that this is gonna be a night that neither one of us will ever forget.
Sami: I bet you're right.
E.J.: Look, maybe I should give you guys a little --
Austin: No, no. [Laughs] No, I'm sorry. I'm sorry, don't go. Don't go. I'm just -- Sami took my breath away.
E.J.: Yes, she -- she has that effect. You sure you don't want me to just leave you for a few minutes?
Austin: No, no, no, no. No, everything is all set. I invited you to join us tonight, and I am ready. It's time.
Austin: Are you ready, Samantha...for your big surprise?
Sami: Yeah, I've been dying to find out what it is.
Austin: Then let's go.
Sami: Um...before we go, I have to talk to you about something important and it's about Carrie.
Lexie: Hi, Carrie, Lucas. Sorry to have kept you waiting.
Lucas: That's fine, Lexie. You have other patients.
Carrie: Lexie...please tell me that everything's okay, there's not some kind of problem with the baby?
Lexie: I am so sorry.
Max: Are you talking about Chelsea and me?
Stephanie: I didn't say that.
Max: You didn't have to.
Stephanie: Look, it's not my place.
Max: Stef, you haven't seen the best side of her yet.
Stephanie: I hope not. That would be kind of scary, no offense.
Max: Chelsea's insecure.
Stephanie: Yeah, you mentioned that already.
Max: She's only acting this way because she's jealous, okay?
Stephanie: Of me? She says she's not.
Max: Of course she says she's not, but, come on, you're beautiful and smart and -- and strong and self-confident and successful. You're everything she isn't and wants to be....except for the beautiful part, because she's beautiful, too.
Stephanie: But you're still crazy about her.
Max: What do you want me to say? I know you're thinking this is all about the beautiful thing.
Max: Once you see who she really is, behind all those walls that she's put up -- I don't know, maybe I enjoy the challenge. But she's not like anyone I've ever known.
Abby: Maybe I should stay here with dad. You should go home and get some rest.
Jennifer: No, no, I'm fine. I'm fine. Listen, why don't you try to relax and go out and have some fun tonight, okay? Your dad's stable. There's nothing to worry about right now. And besides, you know what? It's what he would want for you.
Abby: Mom, what about you? You've barely slept or eaten or anything.
Jennifer: Honey, I'm fine, really. Now, go on. Chelsea is waiting for you, okay? You can come see your dad in the morning. He's not going anywhere.
Abby: You're gonna call me if you need me?
Jennifer: Yes, I promise. I love you.
Abby: I love you, too.
Jennifer: Oh, Jack. Our little girl is growing up so fast, and she still needs her daddy. Why isn't this medicine working? Why aren't you waking up? Are you just gonna give up on us?
Frankie: I saw that.
Frankie: Ooh, sorry. It's time for a break.
Jennifer: No, I can’t. Abby just left. I don't want to leave Jack alone.
Frankie: He won't be. Your Aunt Maggie said she'd sit with him.
Jennifer: Well, that's really sweet of her, but I think I should stay.
Frankie: Jen, if you're gonna be any good to Jack when he wakes up, you need to take better care of yourself and that means you need to get some rest and you need to eat a real meal.
Jennifer: What if he wakes up and he needs me here?
Frankie: Then she will come and tell us. She'll know exactly where we are.
Jennifer: Where will we be?
Frankie: Come with me and I'll show you. It won't take long, I promise, okay?
Austin: Samantha, I already know about Carrie. She called.
Sami: She called you?
Austin: Yeah, from the hospital. Lexie said she needed to see her and Lucas right away, so they can't come to dinner.
Sami: I hope everything's okay.
Austin: Well, she says she's fine. You know, she told you that Lexie wanted to go over her test results, right? So, hopefully, they'll make it in time for dessert. But until then, it's just the three of us.
E.J.: Well, Austin, listen, why don't I leave the two of you alone? I can let you off the hook.
Austin: No, tonight is a celebration. Carrie and Lucas are gonna be here later, so the more, the merrier, so let's head up to the roof. I don't want to keep Sami in suspense any longer.
E.J.: Why don't I go and grab a bottle of champagne and I'll see you up there?
Austin: You don't have to do that. I got it all covered.
E.J.: Austin, I insist.
Austin: We'll meet you up there.
E.J.: I won't be long.
Austin: We'll get started without him. I think it's better this way.
Sami: Austin, before we go, there's something really important that I have to talk to you about and it can't wait.
Austin: I know. But right now, you're gonna come with me, and I won't take no for an answer.
Sami: Okay. [Slow music plays]
Austin: So, what do you think?
Sami: Austin...how in the world did you do this?
Austin: I'm a multitasker. No, I wish I could say I did it all by myself, but I had some help -- Maggie and the staff at Chez Rouge.
Sami: I don't get it. I mean, why? What is this all about?
Austin: I wanted to show you, our friends, and everyone how much you mean to me. And when I said...this was gonna be a night that we'll never forget, I meant it.
Sami: I still don't understand.
Austin: You will. This is just the beginning. I have a much...bigger surprise in store for you. Afterwards, this will all make sense.
Lucas: Lexie, what are you talking about?
Carrie: Are you saying there's something wrong with the baby?
Lexie: I am so sorry. I don't even know how to tell you this. [Sighs] There is no baby.
Lucas: There's no baby?
Carrie: You mean that I lost it? I miscarried?
Lucas: She couldn't have had a miscarriage. She would have known something happened, right, Lexie?
Lexie: No, no, she didn't lose the baby. She was never pregnant.
Lucas: She took a test. There must be some mistake. She took a pregnancy test.
Carrie: I followed the directions to the letter. It was definitely positive, Lexie.
Lexie: Unfortunately, what happens sometimes with home-pregnancy tests is that you get a false positive. It's very, very rare, but it can happen.
Carrie: But my period, I haven't had it.
Lexie: Right, well, um, that could be from all the excitement and stress of planning your wedding or finding out, believing you were pregnant. In effect, you had what some refer to as a hysterical pregnancy.
Carrie: Oh, my God. This can't be ha-- I called my O.B.'s office. They didn't even want to see me until 10 weeks.
Lucas: Honey, don't worry about it, okay? If we can't have a family, if we can't have a baby now, we'll just try again. It'll work out, I promise.
Lexie: [Clears throat] Actually...there's something else I need to discuss with you.
Carrie: What? What more could there possibly be if I was never really pregnant?
Lexie: Well, remember, after the appendectomy, we talked about the residual scar tissue from your ruptured ovarian cyst, that it could affect your chances of conceiving and the longer you waited --
Carrie: No. Lexie, don't tell me that it's too late. Don't tell me that I can't have children.
Max: You're not the first person to wonder what I see in Chelsea.
Stephanie: Oh, I think it's very clear what you see. It is a well-known fact that Max Brady has an eye for cute girls. Girls as in plural, never just one.
Max: All right, whatever you've heard about me, all these rumors or anything like that, they...are true.
Stephanie: [Laughs] A girl in every city, a trail of broken hearts from Indianapolis to Daytona.
Max: No, that's all done. I'm not like that anymore.
Stephanie: Really, because of Chelsea?
Stephanie: Nothing. It's just...there must be more to her than meets the eye.
Max: There is. There's a lot more. It's hard to explain, okay? She's complicated.
Max: She's been hurt a lot, so she has these major trust issues, but she's not a bad person. She's -- she's like this scared little girl inside, and -- and -- I -- I need -- I don't know. I'm making excuses.
Stephanie: But you love her. That's the bottom line.
Max: Yeah, I love her. There's something about her that makes me want to be a better person. Someday when she's all grown-up, I want to -- I want to marry her.
Stephanie: Wow. That is serious.
Max: Yeah. [Clears throat] So, what about you?
Stephanie: What about me?
Max: Is there someone special in your life?
Stephanie: Actually, there is... or was.
Abby: Okay, Chelsea, so, what's your big plan? How are you gonna make Max stand up and take notice, as you put it?
Chelsea: By hooking up with this guy.
Abby: You're serious?
Abby: Haven't you done that like a million times before? That's your big plan? You're gonna make him jealous?
Chelsea: No, I'm not gonna just make him jealous. This time I'm gonna make Max see that he's got some serious competition.
Maggie: Jack, you're awake. How are you feeling, sweetheart?
Jack: Jennifer, she --
Maggie: Uh-uh, Frankie. Frankie took her to get a bite to eat. She's been sitting here with you day and night. I know how thrilled she's gonna be to know that you're awake. I'm gonna go get her right now.
Jack: No, no, wait.
Maggie: Why not?
Jack: She's with Frankie. It's her new husband. It should be their honeymoon.
Frankie: We can be alone here. Let me get that.
Frankie: I thought you could use a little break.
Jennifer: Thank you. Thank you for always, always taking care of me.
Frankie: There isn't anything I wouldn't do for you. I love you.
Austin: You really do look incredible tonight.
Sami: Thank you, Austin. I'm just trying to figure out what's going on.
Austin: You will find out soon enough. You just have to be patient a little while longer. Oh, E.J., I'm sorry. I didn't see you standing there. Come join the party, whether -- well, there isn't any anyway.
E.J.: Thank you. This is for you. I take it you didn't tell him.
Sami: I will.
E.J.: You better do it fast.
Sami: I know, I know!
Austin: What are you two whispering about?
Sami: It's just that I'm trying to figure out what's going on, what you have planned.
Austin: Okay, uh...excuse me. I forgot something downstairs, okay? So if you will please excuse me for a moment.
E.J.: Yeah, sure.
Austin: Enjoy your champagne. I'll be back in two minutes. Two minutes.
E.J.: He's quite the romantic, your fiancé.
Sami: He is romantic, and he is wonderful, and he is handsome and charming and everything that I have ever wanted or dreamed of. And now I am going to blow it. When he finds out that I am the same horrible, lying, manipulative bitch that he left in Vegas, he's gonna --
E.J.: Samantha, that's not true. And by telling him the truth, you're gonna prove that. The old Sami wouldn't have done this.
Sami: There is so much more that you don't even know.
E.J.: Let me tell you what I do know, okay? I think that your secret somehow involves you keeping Carrie and Austin apart, and the real problem here is that I think that you're afraid that if Austin finds out the truth, he's gonna go back to Carrie. The reality of the situation is, they're over, okay? Carrie made a choice. She's married to Lucas, and she did that of her own free will, regardless of whatever you may have done. And even if, you know, Austin did want to go back to her, which I don't believe, the reality of the situation is, it's impossible. She's having a baby with Lucas.
Sami: You're right. You're right. Austin would never break up a family, because he is a good person. And I am not.
E.J.: Will you stop talking about yourself like that, please? Look at this. Nobody does this unless they're head over heels. Samantha, trust me. You need to get this situation over with before Austin finds out the truth about what has happened before whoever's writing these mysterious notes writes another one, and this time sends it directly to him.
Sami: I know. I know you're right. And I'm gonna tell him as soon as he gets back.
Austin: Thank you, God.
Lexie: I am so sorry. I wish I didn't have to tell you this.
Carrie: You said when you found the scar tissue that if I didn't start a family soon, it would be too late. That wasn't that long ago, Lexie.
Lexie: I know, I know, but predicting exactly how much time any woman has is impossible, Carrie.
Lucas: Wait a minute. What are you saying, that Carrie can't get pregnant, with all the fertility drugs they have -- in vitro? It worked for Belle and Philip and Shawn and Mimi. Why not us?
Lexie: Well, those are each very different cases. Look, I am so sorry. I wish I could tell you there was hope, but these test results are very clear. I've consulted with Dr. Ross and Dr. Bader. I know how badly you want to have a child, Carrie, but based on your hormone levels, your chances of conceiving are less than 1%.
Abby: Am I missing something? Did you or did you not promise Max that you'd be his girlfriend?
Chelsea: No, I promised, but I had my fingers crossed just in case.
Abby: Are you in second grade? Give me a break, okay? The guy totally commits to you, and you are so insecure that you can't trust it, then you start playing games.
Chelsea: Look...I just don't want to lose him, okay?
Abby: You're not gonna lose him, Chelsea.
Chelsea: Abby, it's already started. It's just like I told you -- you commit to a guy. He knows he has you, and then he starts to lose interest.
Abby: He's not losing interest. His race car just got totaled. His whole career could be put on hold. The only thing you're worrying about is him paying attention to you. He has other things on his mind. What is wrong with you?
Chelsea: Stephanie Johnson is what's wrong with me. Everything was fine here until she showed up.
Abby: Look, they're just friends.
Chelsea: Really? You think so? She wants him, Abby. And you think that he doesn't notice that? He likes her, too.
Abby: Not like that.
Chelsea: How could he not? She's gorgeous, and she's a fellow grease monkey. They have all this stuff in common. They're practically made for each other. And you saw him. He couldn't wait to get rid of me at the garage so that they could be alone together.
Abby: She was helping him with his car. At least she knows how much it means to him.
Chelsea: Yeah, I do, too. Believe it or not, I actually care about Max. I should be the one that's there for him.
Abby: Look, if you go through with this plan, you're gonna lose Max for good.
Chelsea: Not if I do it right. Look, according to this article, it says that the number-one way to keep your man interested is to make sure that he's jealous.
Abby: I find that hard to believe.
Chelsea: Well, it's all right there.
Abby: Wow. Maybe you didn't read the sidelines.
Chelsea: What? What's in them?
Abby: Well, it also says that it's the number-one way to lose him. "It's a dangerous game that could easily backfire. Play at your own risk."
Chelsea: That's just a disclaimer. All they're saying is, is that you have to know how to work it. And I do.
Abby: What are you doing?
Chelsea: I'm just texting Max.
Max: Okay, so...what's his name? Is he on the circuit? Do I know him? What's going on?
Stephanie: Ah, saved by the bell. [Cellphone beeping] Would you like some privacy?
Max: No, it's just a text message. Oh, it's from Chelsea. She's down at Dune. And she wants to have a drink.
Stephanie: Why don't you go? It's been a long day, and there's not much more we can do here anyway until we get the parts, so...
Max: Yeah, that's true.
Stephanie: Go on. You know you want to.
Max: What the hell, why don't you come? Let me buy you a drink for helping me, please?
Stephanie: Somehow I don't think that's what your girlfriend had in mind..
Max: I don't care. She's gonna have to deal with me having friends, and some of them are women.
Stephanie: If you're sure.
Max: I'm totally sure. Come on.
Stephanie: All right, I accept.
Max: Good, I'm gonna let her know that I'm on my way. [Cellphone keys beeping]
Abby: Max is working on his car. Do you honestly think that he's gonna come down here just because you told him to? [Cellphone beeps]
Chelsea: Actually, yep. That's exactly what he's doing. And when he gets here, I'm gonna be prepared.
Jennifer: You've just been so patient and kind and understanding through all of this, and it has meant so much to me.
Frankie: Don't thank me.
Jennifer: I want to thank you. We're newlyweds. We haven't had any time alone together, Frankie.
Frankie: Hey, it's okay.
Jennifer: No, it's not okay. Your feelings matter to me. This has been such a difficult situation, and you have not complained once, and I feel like I have just been so selfish through all of this.
Frankie: No, you haven't been selfish.
Jennifer: Frankie, I have been by Jack's bedside day and night. I have barely seen you, and when I do see you, all I talk about is Jack. And I am so thankful that you got him into this trial. I am, and I am praying so hard that it works, but what if it doesn't? What if he never wakes up again? We could go on like this forever. And what are you gonna do? Are you gonna wait forever?
Frankie: I know you love him. I knew it when I married you.
Jennifer: But I also love you. And I'm sorry. I'm sorry for all of this.
Frankie: Stop, shh. Okay? It's okay.
Chelsea: Something tells me that you'd be a very good dancer, among other things.
Abby: Chelsea... I need to talk to you. Excuse us.
Chelsea: Sorry. What do you think you're doing?
Abby: I said we needed to talk now.
Chelsea: Um, this will just take a minute, okay? Sorry. What is it?
Abby: Chelsea, I'm not gonna let you do this. You're self-destructing again.
Abby: You know, I'm not gonna let you do it to Max, either. He's about to come in here, and the last thing he wants to see is his so-called girlfriend throwing herself at another guy, a stranger in a club.
Chelsea: He is not a stranger. I'm sorry, what did you say your name was again?
Dax: I didn’t. It's Dax. And you are?
Chelsea: Pleasure to meet you, Dax. There, see? Not strangers. He's Dax, with a "D." Anyway, sorry. Where were we?
Dax: Look, um, before this goes any further, I need to ask you a question.
Chelsea: What's that?
Dax: Can you tie a cherry stem with your tongue?
Chelsea: [Chuckles] Oh, I can do a lot of things with my tongue, but, no, that's not one of them. Why don't you show me how?
Dax: It's been a while, but I'll try.
Chelsea: That's what they all say. Yay. You did it.
Maggie: I thought it might cheer you up to see some of these. You know, Jack Jr. looked so much like Jennifer at first, but now we all think that he looks like your little mini me. [Laughs] Oh, here he is. He's taking his first steps. Yeah. Oh, and this was Christmas. You know, Mickey and I took him to see Santa this year. He wasn't the least bit scared. Of course, he did try to pull the poor man's beard off. [Chuckles] Oh, look, look, look. Now, this is his baseball cap and jersey. Mickey got it for him to celebrate the start of spring training. Now, how cute is that?
Jack: Let's just hope he doesn't have his old man's arm.
Maggie: [Laughs] And then, okay. Okay, okay. I think that's enough pictures for now. You need your rest.
Jack: Is there something there you didn't want me to see?
Maggie: No, nothing.
Jack: It wasn't by chance a new picture of Frankie and Jennifer? It's okay. Really, it's okay. Let me see. Very nice. She looks happy. I'm happy for them -- for them both...especially Jennifer. It looks like she's falling in love. That's what I wanted. That's what I wanted.
Frankie: No, we shouldn't do this.
Jennifer: No, I want you. I need to do this, please.
Lucas: Listen to me. Honey, I know -- I know how badly you wanted to have a family, but we can still have that, all right? We have Will. And we can always adopt. The important thing is we have each other. Whatever happens, we can get through this thing together. [Cellphone rings]
Carrie: You should get that.
Lucas: Don't worry about it. It's just the contractor. I'll call him back.
Carrie: No, you should take it.
Lucas: Honey, please.
Carrie: I'll be okay.
Lucas: All right, fine. I'll be back, okay?
Carrie: I can't believe this is happening.
Lexie: I know. I know. I am so sorry.
Carrie: So am I. I never would have gone through with it. I never would have put Lucas through this if I had known.
Lexie: Carrie, Lucas loves you. This isn't going to change that.
Carrie: It changes everything.
Lexie: You mean you never would have married him if you weren't pregnant..
Carrie: I accepted Lucas' proposal before I took the pregnancy test, but when I started having second thoughts, it was because of the baby... that I decided to go through with it. I decided my whole future, and Lucas and Austin and Sami, too, on a baby...that I can never have. Oh, God, Lexie. What have I done?
E.J.: Look, I promise you, it'll be fine. When Austin comes back, I'll leave, the two of you can talk.
Sami: No, no, you can’t. I need you.
E.J.: What for?
Sami: Moral support. And then maybe also you can help Austin see that he has to forgive me.
Austin: Sorry that took so long. I had to, uh...get dinner in the oven and... find this.
Austin: I know that I already proposed, but...I want to make it official.. There was one thing missing, which was a symbol of my love and commitment. Samantha Jean Brady, will you do me the honor of being my wife?
Sami: No. No, Austin, I...I would love to, but I can’t.
Hope: Prove to me you didn't tamper with the evidence that kept Chelsea out of jail. Maybe we can try to work on rebuilding our marriage.
Mimi: Shawn is Claire's biological father.
Billie: You may be cooking dinner for Sami, but you're thinking about Carrie, aren't you?
E.J.: You've been through this with Austin before. You can go through it again. If it doesn't work out, you know there's going to be a whole line of men to take you out.
