Kate: Okay, smile. No, wait a minute.

Philip: Mom, please just take it. I got to get out of this uniform. I'm roasting. Please.

Kate: Okay. Okay. Why is it so hot in here?

Belle: The landlord hasn't fixed the air-conditioning.

Philip: It doesn't help that it's 94 degrees. Thank God the parade was in the morning.

Kate: Smile. Baby Claire, look at me. Oh, there we go.

Philip: There we go.

Kate: One more.

Philip: Come on.

Kate: Smile.

Philip: Take it. Go.

Kate: There we go. That is a nice one except for the sweat all over your forehead. How hot it was today.

Kate: Honey, I was so proud of you today. I was so proud of seeing you marching in the parade with your purple heart.

Philip: Well, thank you, Mom, but I do not need a medal to remind me of what I did over there, because I've got my good old leg here, which reminds me every day. It reminds me that my leg joint may lock up when I'm carrying this little girl up the stairs. And it reminds me that she's gonna have to explain to her friends when she gets older that her daddy is different. [Smooches]

Belle: Oh, honey. Claire is so lucky to have you for a dad. You know what? She's gonna learn about courage and determination and acceptance. She's gonna look at you, honey, and know that she can accomplish anything. She's very lucky to have you.

Philip: I hope she feels that way. When I think about what Heather Mills McCartney did for me, it just makes me want to help other people like me, not that I consider myself a role model like her.

Belle: Well, I do.

Philip: Well, good, because I'm thinking a lot about what I want to do with my future. I've got a plan, and it's pretty ambitious.

Kate: Well, good for you.

Philip: Yeah? I hope you still feel that way when I tell you what it is.

[Motor whirring]

Mimi: [Sighs] Honey?

Shawn D.: Hmm?

Mimi: When is our air-conditioning gonna be fixed?

Shawn D.: I talked to the manager this morning. He said that he ordered the part that broke. He said it's gonna be fixed sometime tomorrow.

Mimi: Hmm. Well, these hormones are already giving me hot flashes, and I would just really hate to be going through morning sickness feeling like this. I take that back. I would do anything to go through morning sickness. We should get ready to go.

Shawn D.: What are you talking about? The appointment's not for a while.

Mimi: I'm just really nervous. I want this to work so badly.

Shawn D.: It will. Don't worry.

Mimi: But what if it doesn't? Shawn, I -- oh.

Sami: [Shrieks] [Laughs] You know what? I think I'm gonna miss Helen Roper. She's going to live with her sister, you know? She's a mean, old witch, but she made life interesting.

Austin: She's probably saying the same about you.

Sami: She probably is. I wonder who our new neighbor's gonna be.

Austin: Well, you know the old saying -- "better the devil you know."

Sami: Yeah. I do know that saying. With my luck, of course, it'll be Eugenia. [ Shrieks, laughs]

Delivery Man: Okay, pal. That's it. Sign on the dotted line, and I'll be on my way.

E.J.: Okay. Very good.

Delivery Man: Thank you, Mr. Wells, and good luck. Salem's not like any city in the world.

E.J.: So I hear. And yet it feels like home.

Chelsea: It was an accident. I never meant for this to happen, Hope. It was an accident.[Sniffles] I mean, isn't murder when you knowingly, purposely try to take somebody's life? We are talking about my half brother here. I was just getting to know him -- getting -- getting to the point where -- I loved him, Hope. [Sniffles] And what about the woman that was supposed to be watching him? She didn't know that he was gonna wander out into the street in the middle of the night. I mean, does that make her a murderer? It was an accident.

Hope: An accident that never would have happened if you hadn't stolen your father's car, if you hadn't driven without a license, Chelsea!

Chelsea: I had a license, and I had permission --

Hope: There is no way anyone would let you drive your father's car. I can't believe it. Even now, you can't stop lying.

Chelsea: I'm not lying -- not about this. Dad gave me permission to drive his car.

Hope: I knew coming back to Salem would be hard... but I truly didn't realize just how hard until I saw you.

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of our Lives.

Belle: So, tell us about your plan, honey.

Philip: Well, I don't know if you heard this, but Shawn has developed a new turbo engine that's going to be prototyped for Max's race car.

Belle: Really? Wow. I knew Shawn liked to tinker with cars and motorcycles. I didn't know he was that into it.

Philip: Neither did I. It turns out he does more than tinker. Max was so impressed that he asked my dad to bankroll their project, and he said yes, and I would like to put up some money, too.

Kate: Wow. Does that mean you're going to go to work with Lucas and Victor at Titan?

Philip: [Chuckles] No. Max doesn't know it yet, but I am going to ask him to be his pit captain and his number two.

Kate: Well, now, I have some idea of what a pit captain is, but a number two? Does that mean you're going to drive?

Philip: That's exactly what it means. Yeah. I'm gonna be the first amputee to drive on the circuit.

Belle: No. No, you're not. I will not let that happen.

Philip: Look, I'm gonna be careful, honey. I know it can be dangerous.

Belle: "Can be dangerous"? No, Philip, it is dangerous -- every time you're on that racetrack. And, yes, I would be saying this to anyone, even if they weren't an amputee..

Kate: How do you know that Max and Shawn would even agree to it?

Philip: Well, I've written up a proposal that I think they're going to see as a win-win situation for all of us. I want both of you to understand this is something I really want to do.

Belle: I can't believe you've been working so hard on this and haven't talked to me about it.

Philip: I just wanted to make sure it was what I really wanted to do before I told you. I have a proposal written up. Do you want to see it?

Belle: Yes, of course I want to see it.

Philip: Will you take her? Ow. Here you go. Come on. Go to mama. Go to mama.

Belle: Come here.

Philip: Ow. Thanks. I'll be back.

Kate: This is all your fault.

Austin: I didn't know he had that kind of talent, either. I'm just as surprised as you are. No. No, man. No. Let's get on it. Ground floor. Yeah. Hey, hey -- yeah. Let me give you a call tomorrow. Thanks.

Sami: Well, I brought you your lemonade. Now, what was that about?

Austin: Okay, this is gonna blow your mind. I just received a tip... about a new product that can move our company in another direction altogether... and it's something your cousin Shawn designed.

Sami: Really?

Austin: You know what? I'm gonna take a shower, and then I got to do some serious research.

Sami: Wait, wait, Austin. You can't just leave me hanging. Tell me. What is it that my cousin come up with? He started off as an all-star pitcher, then hotshot lawyer. What's he done now?

Austin: Well, I guess he found his niche, because he just so happens to be a mechanical genius.

Sami: Huh. What do you think? Bangs -- do you like them? What?

Austin: I like them.

Sami: [Chuckles]

Austin: I like them a lot.

Sami: [Shrieks, laughs] I thought you had to work. Sorry. [Sami laughing in distance]

Jennifer: Let's go in the kitchen. Come on.

Chelsea: Hope, I-I know that you hate me for what I did to Zack... and I really wish that there was something I could do to take back what happened that night... but I canít. I knew it. She's never gonna forgive me. And why should she? I killed my own brother.

Billie: Chelsea --

Frankie: Let me see if I can get through.

Jennifer: All right. Here. Have some water.

Hope: Thanks. I think I'm gonna need something stronger than water, though.

Jennifer: You don't need that. You're gonna be fine. You just need to stay in control, okay?

Hope: I'm sorry, okay? I didn't mean to ruin your barbecue.

Jennifer: You didn't ruin my barbecue. What's important is if you're okay.

Hope: I'm not going to be okay until the woman who killed my little boy is locked up and behind bars.

Frankie: You okay?

Chelsea: I thought she was on Morgan Island... but now she's here... which means she's gonna testify against me at my trial and she's gonna make sure that I get put away for the best years of my life. [Sniffles] My God, Frankie, could things get any worse?

Frankie: I'm afraid they could, Chelsea, once they realize it wasn't Bo who sent the e-mail consenting to a divorce.

[Motor whirring]

Shawn D.: All right?

Mimi: Okay.

Shawn D.: I just want you to relax, take it easy, deep breath. How about a popsicle?

Mimi: [Laughs] Oh, okay. Yeah, I'll have a popsicle. You know, they keep the freezer in the maternity ward stocked with popsicles.

Shawn D.: Do they really?

Mimi: Yeah.

Shawn D.: Are they for fathers-to-be, too?

Mimi: I don't know, but I'll hook you up when we get there. I used to steal them all the time when I volunteered in the nursery.

Shawn D.: I knew I married you for a reason.

Mimi: Oh, God. I'm getting a little ahead of myself, aren't I? I mean, I keep, like, reading this stuff as if it's a test that I can just study and pass. I've been trying to think positively like everyone keeps telling me to, and I've pictured myself as one of those lucky parents leaving the nursery with a baby in my arms. I even started to believe that we were gonna have twins -- a boy and a girl. But the odds are against us now because they could only harvest one egg. So if the implantation doesn't work, then we won't have a baby at all. I want this one.

Shawn D.: So much for thinking positively.

Mimi: I'm being realistic.

Shawn D.: Okay. So am I, and I am positive that we are going to have a kid.'s to having a kid.

Belle: Just how is it my fault that Philip wants to drive a race car?

Kate: Well, perhaps if you satisfied your husband's needs up in the bedroom, he wouldn't feel the need to prove his manhood on the speedway.

Belle: That is ridiculous, Kate. Everything between Philip and me is fine. We have a family, and our marriage is stronger than it's ever been.

Kate: I hope so.

Belle: Well, why in the world would you think it wasn't?

Kate: Because you were pining away for Shawn up till the day he married Mimi.

Belle: How did you know that?

Kate: How did I know it? Everyone knew it, because you were telling everyone. The only one you didn't tell -- thank, God -- was Philip. He still doesn't know what a little hard heart you really have.

Belle: So is that what this guilt trip was about -- about being a single mom at Shawn and Mimi's wedding?

Kate: No. Everything I said to you that day was true. You don't want to live through what I lived through, believe me. Losing a child is the worst pain in the world.

Belle: Yes, I know that.

Kate: I don't want to see that happen to you, Belle.

Belle: Well, I don't, either. Kate, I am not gonna leave Philip for Shawn or anyone else, okay?

Kate: I hope that's the truth, because I'm going to hold you to it. You know, I really do enjoy having you as a daughter-in-law. I just don't want you to make any mistakes that you'll live to regret. You mean everything to Philip -- you and Claire.

Belle: Yeah. Claire, you need to kiss your grandma goodbye 'cause she's leaving.

Kate: Bye-bye, sweetie.

Belle: Say, "bye-bye. Bye-bye."

Philip: Okay. Uh, where's my mom?

Belle: She left. Can we talk about this racing thing now?

Philip: Yeah, we can talk about this racing thing. I have the proposal here. I wanted her to see it, too.

Belle: Well, she's not happy about it, and neither am I. Look, your life is far too valuable to me to let this happen. And one more thing -- just a minor thing. We have a daughter -- a daughter who almost lost you once before she even got the chance to know you. Claire, baby --

Philip: Let go, honey. Let go. Let go.

Belle: When you were in the war, I was so worried about you, and now that everything is finally settling down and I can actually think of a future with you, Philip, please don't let me lose you.

Philip: I'm not going anywhere, honey. You know that. [Smooches] You know that.

[Doorbell rings]

Sami: Austin, was that the door?

Austin: Yeah, I'll get it. Hi. Can I help you?

E.J.: Yeah, I'm E.J. Wells. I just moved into the flat across the way.

Austin: Oh, oh. Great. We were just wondering who the next tenant was gonna be. Well, Austin Reed. Welcome to the neighborhood.

E.J.: Thank you. Listen, I have a leaky showerhead. I don't suppose I could borrow a wrench, could I?

Austin: Absolutely. Come on in.

E.J.: Thank you.

Austin: Are you new in town?

E.J.: Yeah, I just got in from overseas. So, is this fetching creature your wife?

Austin: "Fetching creature." I like that. I'm gonna have to steal that. That's my fiancť, Sami Brady.

Chelsea: There's no way that Hope or Bo are gonna find out what I did, because they're not talking to each other.

Frankie: You know you're whistling past the graveyard, don't you?

Chelsea: Whatever that means. Look, I talked to my dad this morning, and he said that when he went to Morgan Island, he saw Hope and Patrick kissing. And then he told me and my mom that she said she wanted nothing to do with him.

Frankie: But they do love each other, and eventually they're gonna realize that. They're gonna work through their problems.

Chelsea: Didn't you tell me that it was in my best interest, legally, to not say anything about what I've done?

Frankie: Yeah. As your attorney, I can't say anything. But if you step up to the plate, admit what you've done, they might forgive you.

Chelsea: Yeah, right.

Frankie: On the other hand, if you don't and they find out on their own, things are gonna get a lot worse and you know it.

Bo: I got to talk to Hope and work things out.

Billie: Yeah, but not just for the sake of your marriage, but for Chelsea, too. If we don't find some middle ground here, your family's gonna be torn apart.

Bo: Yeah. Thanks for being so understanding and supportive through this whole thing. I got to go find her.

Billie: [Exhales sharply] Damn it. Why do I keep sending him straight back into Hope's arms?

Kate: That's a good question.

Jennifer: I know that you are so angry with Chelsea, but the trial starts tomorrow. A judge and a jury will decide her fate. And once that's happened... y-you'll have to start working on moving on with your life.

Hope: Yeah, I know. But it's gonna be a hell of a lot harder if the jury just gives her a slap on the wrist and lets her get away with what she did. She has a history of reckless behavior, Jen. I don't want her back out on the street, where she can hurt someone else -- not ever again. And you're right. I do. I need to... start to rebuild my life. I want Zack to be proud..

Jennifer: Yeah. And what about Bo?

Hope: Don't, okay, please? Don't tell me that Zack would want me and Bo to stay together. It's too complicated.

Jennifer: Hope --

Hope: Jen. Believe me, I hate what has happened, but Bo and I are finished.

Bo: Hope... you know that's not true.

Philip: I just didn't think you'd be so upset about this. I'm not gonna do anything if I didn't think I'm gonna be okay. I'm certainly not gonna do anything that's gonna take me away from you and Claire. Look, I joined the marines to serve my country, yes, but I also did it for the thrill, and I still need that. My life may have changed a lot, but I have not changed. I think it would be a good way to set an example for people with disabilities. It would be a good way to do it.

Belle: Well, good. Then why don't you just go run a 10k or even a marathon? Or you can just stay here and take care of the baby and go visit hospitals -- anything but racing a car 180 miles an hour.

Philip: Actually it's more like 200.

Belle: Oh, great.

Philip: There's something else I got to tell you, too.

Shawn D.: Mmm. I like yours better.

Mimi: It's way better.

Shawn D.: Did you really mean it when you said you wanted to name our son -- if we have a son -- after Zack?

Mimi: Of course I did. But if you think it'll be too hard --

Shawn D.: No, no. I-I just keep thinking about it, and I think the reason I really believe this is all gonna work out is because I believe my brother is looking out for us. When we were praying for Claire for a miracle, it turned out he was the miracle. I don't know. It's just so hard to understand.

Mimi: I know.

Shawn D.: You know, he would have been an uncle at 5 years old. You know how stoked he would have been? He would have been so happy for us. And just to think that this all came about because a bartender overhearing our conversation at the Green Mountain Lodge and then talking about the in vitro. It's like this was meant to be. So, yeah, if you want to name our son after my brother, I would love that. I mean, this is a miracle. I think God is gonna bless us with our own child.

Mimi: How do you know? Have you been to a fortune-teller?

Bonnie: This is not about fortune-tellers. It's about Claire.

Mimi: Claire?

Bonnie: She's Shawn's daughter, Mimi.

Mimi: I don't know, Shawn. Maybe it's not meant to be.

Shawn D.: What? I don't understand.

Mimi: After what I've done, I don't see how God could bless us with a child.

E.J.: Your fiancť's beautiful.

Austin: Thank you. She's really great.

Sami: Austin!

Austin: And she projects really well. I guess I should go.

E.J.: Yeah, sounds like she needs you. Thank you very much for this. I'll get it back to you as soon as I'm done.

Austin: Nice meeting you.

E.J.: You too.

Sami: Austin!

Austin: I just met our new neighbor. He needed to borrow a wrench. What --

Sami: The shower. We need the wrench back. Oh, my God.

Austin: I'll go get it.

Sami: No, you have to stay. The water is going everywhere. I'll get the wrench. Come on. Hello?

E.J.: Hey.

Billie: Mom, I know you're only trying to help, but I don't need you here trying to get me to do the wrong thing again.

Kate: The marriage is over. It's broken. And encouraging Bo to pick up the pieces is an exercise in futility, Billie.

Billie: It's broken, and it's partly my fault. It can be fixed, and it's time that I stepped aside and let Bo and Hope find their way back to each other.

Kate: No, you can't do that.

Chelsea: Frankie, you didn't see the look that she gave me when I opened that door.

Frankie: No, I didnít.

Chelsea: Well, it was like, um, it was like a chill just ran through my whole body.

Frankie: Chelsea, I'm sure you had the same effect on her.

Chelsea: That doesn't make me feel any better. She already hates me enough. No, I really don't think she needs the extra ammunition.

Frankie: So you're willing to take the chance that your dad and Hope will not talk until after the trial, that they're never gonna figure out that you're the one that altered the e-mail that put the divorce in motion? You're willing to roll the dice, huh?

Chelsea: Yeah, I am.

Frankie: You're not as smart as I thought you were, because not only do they love each other, they're both very intelligent people who happen to be detectives. And they are gonna realize that something doesn't add up. Hope will show Bo the e-mail, and then they're gonna trace everything back to you.

Bo: Hope, we got to talk. We got to figure out where we stand with each other.

Jennifer: I'll give you some privacy, okay?

Hope: [Sighs] There's nothing left to talk about, nothing you can say that's gonna change anything.

Bo: Hope --

Hope: Get your hands off me, you liar. That's all you've done is lie to me.

Bo: How could you --

Hope: You couldn't just stop making a fool of me, could you? You couldn't stop yourself.

Bo: That's not what I was doing, and you know it.

Hope: No, I donít. I don't know that at all. But what I do know... is that your daughter was willing to let you and Billie sacrifice everything to save her own skin. Can't you see what little respect your daughter has for you?

Bo: After the accident, we were all in shock, Hope. I made a terrible mistake. I was trying to take care of that and you at the same time. I would have told you everything.

Hope: You should have been honest with me from the start, from day one. Now, when you showed up on Morgan Island, you knew that Chelsea's trial date had been moved up. So if Jennifer hadn't told me on the phone, I wouldn't have known about that.

Bo: I would have told you.

Hope: Oh?

Bo: You called me, told me you were in danger. My first priority was to protect you from Lockhart.

Hope: John and I both assured you that I was fine. But instead of being honest and truthful and telling me that Chelsea's trial date had been moved up, you make this big pitch for me to forgive you. But now I know why. Because hoping that if I did, maybe I'd be a little more lenient with your daughter.

Bo: That's not true.

Hope: Yes, it is. How am I supposed to believe anything you say when all you do is lie to me? But you know what? I'm here. I'm back in Salem. And it is so hard. But I have to be here because I need justice for my little boy.

Bo: We have both done things that we regret.

Hope: I still don't know if I should do this.

Jennifer: You're here now, so if for no other reason, just go inside and make sure Bo's okay.

Hope: My God, he must have been drunk. He didn't even close the door.

Jennifer: Well, even better. You can just go right in. I'll wait right here for you. Go on.

Hope: Bo?

Hope: I don't believe you. I don't even know you anymore. How dare you compare what I did with Patrick to what you did with Billie. I only turned to Patrick after you filed for divorce. But you, on the other hand -- this isn't the first time you've slipped up with Billie...or the second...or the third.

Bo: I didn't come here to argue with you, Hope. I came here to try to work things out.

Hope: Are you kidding me? Are you for real? How can you ever think we could get back together, especially after the e-mail you sent me?

Belle: Okay. So, what else do you have to tell me?

Philip: Well, the thing is, I'm not sure Max and Shawn are gonna be so crazy about having an inexperienced driver race for their team, let alone one with one leg. But I'm prepared to bring something pretty major to the table.

Belle: Well, your dad's already decided to develop this new engine that Shawn created. So if that's not an in, I don't know what is.

Philip: That's my dad. It's not me. I'm my own man, which is why I've offered my services as pit captain, but I'm also going to underwrite the racing team.

Belle: That sounds very expensive.

Philip: So what? Look, come on. You and I have something that Max and Shawn need -- a lot of money, honey. I'll be back.

Belle: Oh, why don't I have a good feeling about this?

Shawn D.: What do you mean, what you've done? Why wouldn't God bless us with a child?

Mimi: Well... because I-I had an abortion.

Shawn D.: He forgives if you ask for forgiveness, and you've done that.

Fr. Jansen: Because you were able to tell Shawn before you were married that Claire was his daughter, God has blessed you with the chance of having your own children.

Mimi: About that... [Exhales deeply] ...There's something that you don't know.

Fr. Jansen: What is it?

Mimi: I never told Shawn the truth about Claire.

Fr. Jansen: [Sighs] I thought you had chosen a more enlightened path.

Mimi: I wish I had. I was just too much of a coward. You must think I'm an awful person. I deserve to go to hell for lying to a man of God.

Fr. Jansen: It's not my place to judge you. But because you weren't truthful with Shawn before you were give me no choice but to inform you that, in the eyes of this church and in the eyes of God, your union is null and void. You and Shawn are not husband and wife.

Shawn D.: Hey. Don't do this to yourself, okay? You deserve this, I promise.

Mimi: But --

Shawn D.: No, no. There are no "buts" here. Everything is gonna work out fine, I promise you.

[Knock on door] [Door opens]

Philip: Yo.

Shawn D.: Yo.

Philip: What's going on?

Shawn D.: How's it going?

Mimi: Hi.

Philip: I need to talk to Shawn for a second alone. Is that cool?

Mimi: Yes. Is Belle home?

Philip: Yeah. Go say hi.

Mimi: Okay. I'll be right back.

Shawn D.: Cool.

Philip: Um...

Shawn D.: What's up?

Philip: I have a business proposition for you -- one that we are both gonna like.

Philip: So that's the deal. What do you think?

Shawn D.: Well, obviously I love the idea of my best friend underwriting the team, but I have to ask you, can you drive?

Philip: Mm-hmm.

Shawn D.: Well, let's see what Max says.

Philip: Okay. Just understand that my offer is 100% contingent upon me driving.

Shawn D.: This is really important to you, isn't it?

Philip: Put it this way -- I want to prove that an amputee can still live in the fast lane.

Shawn D.: I hear you. But I just have to ask this. Isn't there a safer way for you to prove your point?

Philip: Don't even say a 10k or a marathon 'cause Belle already went there and it's already been done. I want to make a statement.

Shawn D.: All right. Well, let's see what we can do.

Belle: Here we go. [Knock on door] It's open.

Mimi: Hey, can I hang with you for a little while? The boys are having a private chitchat.

Belle: Sure.

Mimi: Feeding time?

Belle: Yes.

Mimi: Aw. I can't wait to have a baby. I just hope I'm not getting my hopes up for nothing.

Belle: Oh, don't worry about it, Mimi. Everything's gonna work out for you.

Mimi: And if it doesn't?

Belle: Well, if it doesn't this time, then you and Shawn keep trying. And in the meantime, you'll always have Claire.

Sami: Um, hi. Uh, um, I, uh, I came back. I have to get my wrench, uh, back from -- y-you borrowed it, right?

E.J.: I'm E.J.

Sami: I'm Sami. You're British?

E.J.: Yes, last I checked. Sorry. Uh, your, uh, your wrench.

Sami: Oh!

E.J.: [Chuckles]

Sami: Certainly an improvement over the last neighbor.

Austin: Sami, you don't --

Chelsea: Frankie, I know what I did was wrong, and I'm sure that Bo and Hope probably will talk, but I am not saying anything about the e-mail until after I'm exonerated.

Frankie: You know, this is -- this is so wrong -- what you're doing. Your dad stood behind you to the point of losing his marriage. That's how much he loves you. I'm sure he loves you enough to forgive you for this, too. Do you love him?

Chelsea: You know I do.

Frankie: Actions speak louder than words, Chelsea.

Chelsea: Frankie, if I tell him the truth, what if he doesn't forgive me? I don't want to lose my dad, and I don't want to go to jail and never see him again.

Frankie: [Sighs]

Chelsea: Do you have any idea how scared I am?

Frankie: Listen to me. Whatever you decide to do, I will defend you and I will do the very best I can to keep you from going to prison. It's negligent homicide, which normally doesn't bring you a stiff sentence. You understand what I'm saying, Chelsea? The clock is ticking. You need to start working your way out of this thing, and that means to do the right thing. First order of business -- give your dad and Hope their lives back.

Chelsea: I'm sorry, but I can't do that.

Bo: What are you talking about? What e-mail?

Hope: You know exactly what -- you wrote it.

Bo: The only e-mail I wrote to you was very long --

Hope: Forget it. This whole thing -- it's just a waste of time.

Bo: Not if we can work things out, Hope. Come on. We can do this. We'll go talk to a counselor or Marlena. We'll set up a time to talk to her about this.

Hope: No. I'm sorry. It's too late, Brady.

Bo: No. Hope -- Hope...

Kate: Sweetie, you would be making a huge mistake. This isn't the time to let Bo go, not after all the work you've put into it. And think about Chelsea.

Billie: Chelsea -- she's part of the reason we're in this mess.

Kate: Don't blame her. She just wants to see her parents together.

Billie: At Hope's expense, Mom.

Kate: Why do you always play the loser in love?

Billie: What? What the hell is that supposed to mean?

Kate: You know what it means. Bo is your soul mate. He's your soul mate. Yes, he may love Hope, too, but he loves you. I remember how happy you were together. And you have been through a lot of grief lately, yes, but I know you also saw that spark again. Don't let it die, Billie.

Billie: Chelsea. Chelsea, what's wrong?

Chelsea: Nothing, Mom.

Billie: Hey, Chelsea -- Chelsea! [Sighs] Frankie, what happened?

Frankie: I tried to talk to her. She didn't want to hear what I had to say.

Billie: Thanks. Thanks, anyway. Now it's my turn. Mom, I got to go.

Kate: I'll walk you out. Don't worry. I'm going home. I've had enough of this.

Jennifer: Hey.

Frankie: Hey.

Jennifer: I was just checking on Jack Jr. How did things go with Chelsea?

Frankie: It didnít.

Jennifer: I'm sorry.

Frankie: Yeah.

Jennifer: Hey, have you seen Bo and Hope?

Frankie: No. I think they're still in the kitchen.

Jennifer: I'm gonna go check on them.

Billie: Listen, Chelsea, the most important thing right now is the trial.. That's what we have to worry about. You can't worry about --

Hope: Go. Be with them. They're your family now, Brady.

Mimi: I can't help but think that God is gonna punish me.

Shawn D.: God does not punish people for making mistakes.

Roman: What's wrong?

Patrick: You want to give this whole living situation another shot?

Billie: I'll think about it.

Sami: How do you know that I like lemonade in my beer?

E.J.: Lucky guess. Cheers.
