Frankie: You sure you're okay?
Jennifer: [Sighs] I can't even believe that Abby walked in on us. But you know what? Once she calmed down, we had a really good talk. I mean, I should have talked to her about us before. I meant to. I don't know why I didnít. You know, this is gonna sound so silly, but I feel...I feel guilty that I was with you in Jack's and my bed, and I know... I'm sorry.
Frankie: Have you changed your mind about us?
Jennifer: I don't know. I don't know. Maybe this is just a huge mistake.
Josh: This should make you feel a little better.
Abby: Iced mocha cappuccino?
Josh: With chocolate sprinkles and lots of whipped cream.
Abby: Thanks, Josh.
Josh: Listen, my shift is almost over. Want to hang out for a while?
Abby: Yeah, sure.
Josh: Great. Missed you.
Abby: You just saw me.
Josh: I still missed you.
Max: Chelsea, what's going on?
Bo: I love you so much, Fancy Face.
Billie: I can't do this. I can't do this. Bo, look at me. Look at me. It's Billie. It's not Hope.
Patrick: Well, what do you think?
Hope: TrŤs chic.
Patrick: Uh-huh. Well, should we try our luck at the tables?
Hope: Yeah, I'm ready if you are, but don't let me go overboard, please. I have not gambled in an awfully long time.
Patrick: Don't worry, I brought just enough money for us to have some fun.
Hope: Patrick, thank you. This is just what I needed. Tonight I do not want to think about anything that has to do with Salem.
Patrick: And you won't have to. Tonight, Hope, I promise, we can forget about everything else.
Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of our Lives.
Billie: I know. You love Hope. And, um, I can't do this with you drunk, pretending that I'm her. I'm sorry that I let it go this far.
Bo: No, no, I'm sorry.
Billie: No, Bo. This is not your fault. I'm the sober one. I'm the one who followed you up here, but I was worried about you, and...I want to be here for you, Bo, but not in this way. Why do I keep putting myself in this position? I know that I'm just tempting us, and I know that this isn't what either of us needs right now, and I know that I'm not the one that you really want.
Bo: Come on, Billie, I... listen -- you have been about my only friend, and...I've been self-destructing. And I forced myself on you, and you're just here trying to help me out. If anyone's to blame, it's me.
Hope: You are hot, my friend.
Patrick: Actually, I think you're the one bringing me luck.
Hope: You don't need any luck.
Patrick: I'll tell you what. Why don't you take over for me while the casino still has some money left? Do you know baccarat?
Hope: Do I know baccarat? I have gambled in some of the best casinos in Europe.
Patrick: Okay, then you know it's more fun playing than watching. Go on, use my chips.
Hope: Okay. I doubt I'll do as well as you, but I'll give it a shot.
Patrick: Want to bet?
[Cheers and applause]
Patrick: You thought I was hot? You are on fire.
Hope: You were right. This is a lot more fun playing.
Patrick: Well, yeah, especially when you're winning the way you are. Do you want to keep playing or do you want --
Hope: I think I better quit while I'm ahead. Actually, I've built up quite an appetite with all this excitement.
Patrick: Good, I have a table for us on the terrace. My man here will cash in our chips.
Hope: Okay, thank you.
Patrick: Here we are.
Hope: Oh, my gosh. The view is absolutely incredible.
Patrick: Yes, it is.
Caesar: Evening, Mr. Lockhart. We've missed you.
Patrick: Ah, Caesar, it's good to see you. Ca va bien?
Caesar: Ca va.
Patrick: Oh, good. My friend and I are doing a little celebrating. Perhaps you could bring us a bottle of your finest champagne.
Caesar: Of course. I'll be right back with menus.
Patrick: No, not necessary. We will have the tasting menu -- all of the chef's specialties.
Caesar: Very well. Excuse me.
Patrick: I hope that's okay with you.
Hope: I happily put myself in your hands.
Patrick: Hopefully you won't be disappointed.
Hope: I haven't been so far. [Slow-tempo music plays] Nice music.
Patrick: Hmm. Would you like to dance?
Hope: I'd love to.
Patrick: Okay. Are you all right?
Hope: Yeah. I feel like I'M...finally moving on. And I have you to thank for that. Patrick, you have been a true friend, a real gentleman, and planning this evening out, it's really -- it's meant so much to me.
Patrick: Well, you've been a good friend, too, Hope. I needed tonight also. It's good for both of us. I enjoy spending time with you.
Hope: Thank you.
Patrick: Thank you, Caesar.
Hope: Thank you, Caesar.
Patrick: Here you are.
Hope: Thank you.
Patrick: [Sighs] To you -- may all your joys be as bright as the morning, your years of happiness as numerous as all the stars in the heavens, and your troubles but shadows that fade in the sunlight of life.
Hope: That was beautiful. Who said that?
Patrick: I did.
Patrick: Actually, it's something I read years ago. I think it's an Old English saying.
Hope: Well, I appreciate it. Thank you.
Hope: I'm just seeing a new side of you. Patrick Lockhart -- dashing, debonair.
Patrick: Well, that side of me -- sometimes it's real and sometimes it's not.
Hope: What do you mean?
Patrick: Well, you know all about my former life as a con man. Your husband made sure to remind me and everyone else as often as he could.
Hope: I apologize for that.
Patrick: He was right. I got pretty good at pretending to be someone I wasnít. But thanks mostly to you, I've tried hard to put that part of my life behind me.
Hope: Thanks to me?
Patrick: You helped me strip away the facade...to see the importance of honesty.
Hope: Well, I believe it's always best to be truthful.
Patrick: You're thinking of Bo now, wishing he had been more truthful. Are you sure you don't want to give Bo another chance?
Chelsea: What do you want, Max?
Max: Didn't you get my message? I've been worried about you.
Max: Why? Because we're friends. That's what friends do. So, where'd you go?
Chelsea: Look, Max, the last thing I need from you right now is another lecture, telling me how to behave and how to live my life, which is exactly what you're gonna do again, I'm sure, but I'm just here to relax, okay?
Chelsea: Hey. I didn't think you'd want to see me.
Abby: Look, Chelsea, I owe you a huge apology.
Chelsea: It's okay, Abby. I just don't know when to keep my mouth shut sometimes.
Abby: No, you were right about my mom and Frankie.
Chelsea: Did you talk to her?
Abby: After I walked in on them.
Chelsea: Well, let's face it, Abs, um, people jump from relationship to relationship, and even the people that we think will be together forever split up...like Bo and Hope.
Abby: Chelsea, what are you doing? You know, I still can't believe Bo and Hope are getting a divorce. I hope they don't go through with it.
Chelsea: Well, I do.
Abby: You just said that you felt bad about wishing that they'd split up..
Chelsea: Well, it's gonna happen now no matter what, so...
Abby: You know, I'm gonna go get another iced coffee.
Max: I heard what you said.
Max: Bo and Hope. What makes you so sure they're not gonna get back together, huh?
Chelsea: Because Hope asked Bo for a divorce, remember that?
Max: So what? She could change her mind.
Chelsea: She could, but...she wonít.
Max: And why is that, Chelsea?
Chelsea: Because...my dad is hooking up with Billie.
Max: And you know this how?
Chelsea: I just know.
Max: What aren't you telling me?
Frankie: I, uh...I hate seeing you so upset.
Jennifer: Frankie, the thought of Abby seeing the two of us like that...
Frankie: Jennifer, I know that your heart still belongs to Jack, and I respect that. I do, but...you have no reason to feel guilty.
Jennifer: I know. I know that, and the way I'm acting towards you right now is strange. It's strange, I realize that, but this is so hard for me.
Frankie: Listen -- is it because your feelings for me aren't as strong as you thought?
Jennifer: No, no. I love you, I do.
Frankie: If you're not ready --
Jennifer: I don't know if I'm ready. I don't know if I will ever be ready, and I can't do this to you anymore. It is just not gonna work out for us.
Hope: Mmm. I can't remember the last time I had a meal this good.
Patrick: Hope...answer the question. Are you going to give Bo another chance?
Hope: I wish I could... but no.
Patrick: Are you sure?
Hope: Bo's let me down in so many ways, Patrick. When Zack died, it was [Sighs] It was like my heart had been ripped from my chest. But it wasn't only Zack's death that made me realize that Bo and I have no future. It was seeing Bo sleeping with Billie. And as they say, actions speak louder than words, and his actions tell me that he's moved on. So...I need to accept that my marriage is over.
Patrick: If that's how you really feel, I guess you need to move on.
Patrick: Okay, well, enough of that. So, what do you say about dessert? Would you like that now or later?
Hope: Maybe later.
Patrick: Good. 'Cause you know what I'm in the mood for?
Hope: What's that?
Patrick: A walk on the beach with a beautiful lady.
Hope: Oh, if you mean me, I'd love to.
Patrick: Good. There's a spot I want you to see.
Hope: What a wonderful night.
Patrick: Yeah. How about another dance?
Hope: Where? Here?
Patrick: Yeah, right here.
Patrick: The more I get to know you, the more...I realize how special you are. Bo is a fool to lose you. Now, if you were with me, Hope, I'd never let you go.
Bo: I took advantage of the situation, and...I'm sorry.
Billie: Oh, come on. You're just trying to make me feel better. I'm the one who took advantage of the situation. I should be sorry. I followed you up here, and instead of letting you go off by yourself, true to form, I use sex to get close to you.
Bo: Yeah, well, what do you think I was doing?
Billie: Thinking about Hope, trying to sober up, and then I showed up.
Bo: Well, it was a good thing you did...'cause I was drunk. I could have killed myself or somebody else and...true to form, you've been a good friend.
Billie: I don't feel like a good friend right now.
Bo: Hey, ever since Hope left...you've been very supportive of me getting her back and finding her, and I know that couldn't have been easy for you.
Billie: I want you to be happy. I care about you. And you love her. You can't give up.
Bo: And I never thought I would. But there's...I don't know, something different about this time.
Billie: Because she's asked you for a divorce.
Bo: And she hasn't changed her mind. I thought she might have written that e-mail out of anger, and with time, she would have regretted it, but...the fact that she didnít...the fact that she hung up on me, hasn't returned my e-mails, hasn't told me where she is -- it's a pretty strong message. There's something I got to tell you.
Bo: You've really been there for me, with me...these last few months through some pretty terrible stuff, and...it kind of takes me back.
Billie: What do you mean?
Bo: This whole nightmare with Zack, you've helped me through that, and, um...I needed you and wanted you to be there for me. Billie, there's a...there's a part of me...that wants you.
Josh: So, what do you want to do when I get off?
Abby: I don't know. I can't be out late, though.
Josh: I hear ya. I was thinking maybe we go for a drive, maybe up to lookout point.
Abby: Um, why can't we just stay here?
Josh: Abby, I work here.
Abby: Well, when you're off, we can hang out with Max and Chelsea.
Josh: Tell the truth, Abby. Do you really want to be with Max and Chelsea or are you just afraid of being alone with me?
Max: There's something you're not telling me here, Chelsea, about you, about Hope, about Bo. Chelsea.
Chelsea: Hope wrote my dad an e-mail asking him for a divorce.
Frankie: I know.
Chelsea: Yeah, but what you don't know is that... I wrote her back pretending to be him...telling Hope that, that's what my dad wanted, too.
Frankie: How could you do this to them?
Max: What's going on, Chelsea? I know you, and I think you've done something to set this whole thing up -- the divorce, Bo and Billie.
Chelsea: You know, Max, if you think I'm such a bad person, then why do you even hang out with me, huh? Because I don't need you. Goodbye. Hey, guys.
Chelsea: So, is the rumor that I heard true?
Guy: What's that, sweetheart?
Chelsea: That this is where the party's at? [Chuckles] I believe so. Why don't you have a seat? Yeah, sit right down.
Frankie: I think we're great together. So why -- why don't you think it can work?
Jennifer: Because I can't make a commitment to you.
Frankie: Because of Jack.
Jennifer: I'm sorry. You deserve better from me, Frankie.
Frankie: Look at me. I would wait forever for you. Don't you know that?
Jennifer: But you shouldn't have to.
Frankie: Well, I happen to think you're worth it. I love you. I loved you 20 years ago, and I love you even more today.
Frankie: Columbia's not the only school in the country.
Jennifer: Frankie, but you want to be there. I know you do. You don't have to say anything. I can see it. You belong there.
Frankie: It was the biggest mistake of my life leaving you.
Jennifer: Oh, my gosh. We were so young. And you would have been crazy not to accept that scholarship at Columbia.
Frankie: That's what I thought. Boy, I had such big plans back then -- go to New York, attend Columbia, make a name for myself, maybe even change the world. When what I should have done is stayed right here with you.
Jennifer: No, but then you would always think about all the things that you would have missed.
Frankie: Instead...you were the one I missed. Things would have been so different if I'd stayed.
Jennifer: But we can't change the past. I don't want to change the past. I never would have met Jack. I never would have had Abigail and Jack Jr.
Frankie: I know.
Jennifer: I mean, the love that Jack and I shared and the family that we built -- that is all that mattered to me. And even though I have lost Jack, our children are the most important things in my life.
Frankie: That's why I love you so much. I know...we can't change the past. But...why can't we change the future?
Patrick: If you're cold, I --
Hope: No, no. The breeze feels nice.
Patrick: I thought the beach would be deserted.
Hope: You've been here with Alma, haven't you?
Patrick: Yeah. And we'd always wish on a star.
Hope: I just made a wish myself.
Patrick: I hope it comes true.
Hope: It already has.
Patrick: I [Clears throat] I should get you back to the casino.
Hope: Why? We just got here.
Patrick: I know, I know, but the beach can be dangerous at night.
Hope: What are you talking about? We're the only ones here.
Patrick: I shouldn't be alone with you. That's why it's dangerous.
Patrick: Hope...I'm attracted to you. I always have been. From the first time I saw you, I've wanted you.
Hope: I don't know what to say... except I...I guess Bo was right.
Patrick: That's why he got so crazy every time we were anywhere near each other. I thought if Bo could see it...
Hope: You thought I could.
Patrick: I don't know. Did you?
Hope: No. I really didnít.
Patrick: I tried like hell to keep my feelings hidden. You were a married woman. I was sure you'd never leave Bo. But now that you think your marriage is over... ...you can see why I shouldn't be alone with you. I don't know if I can be trusted.
Billie: I'm stunned.
Bo: I've always cared about you, Billie.
Billie: As a friend, I know.
Bo: It's been more than that. But when Hope and I were together, I would never act on those feelings. I love her. She's been my whole life. But now she wants a divorce, and there's nothing I can do about that.
Billie: You don't know that.
Bo: Yes... I do. I've tried with her. She doesn't want anything to do with me. And you know her as well as I do. When she makes up her mind to something, there's no changing it. I care about you. Years ago, I loved you.
Billie: That was when you thought Hope was dead.
Bo: And I wanted to move on with you. That's why I proposed to you, why I wanted to share the rest of my life with you.
Billie: I wanted that, too. There's still a part of me... that wishes that we could still be together.
Bo: Maybe we can still have that.
Chelsea: So, where is this keg party you guys are talking about?
Chelsea: The what?
Guy: It's an off-campus apartment. I'll give you the address.
Chelsea: Okay, sounds good.
Abby: I'll fix this. Don't worry.
Max: Thank you.
Abby: Chelsea, can I talk to you for a minute?
Chelsea: Sure. Keep my seat warm, okay?
Guy: Oh, it'll be warm.
Chelsea: I'll be right back. What's going on?
Abby: Do you even know those guys?
Chelsea: Yeah. The tall one is A.J. and the other one they call Cobra.
Abby: You can't just throw yourself all over some strange guys.
Chelsea: God, Abby, not you, too. Why are you so uptight? Your mom wasnít.
Abby: Excuse me?
Chelsea: She hooked up with Frankie Brady when she was even younger than you are, and you think all they did was just hold hands?
Abby: You know what? I don't know what my mom did back then, and neither do you, and it's none of your business.
Chelsea: I just wish you weren't such a prude. But I guess that's really none of my business, either.
Abby: No, maybe I deserve that.
Chelsea: Look, I just want to see my best friend enjoy herself, that's all. So, go find Josh and get busy.
Abby: Hey, um, if you're off, do you want to dance?
Josh: Sure. Let me turn on some good music.
Guy: Two, three, four... whoo-hoo. So, what do you think? You and me?
Chelsea: Sure, sounds good.
Whoo-hoo Well, my heart knows her better than I know myself so I'm gonna let her do all the talking. Whoo-hoo whoo-hoo. Came across a place in the middle of nowhere with a big black horse and a cherry tree Whoo-hoo whoo-hoo I felt a little fear upon my back I said, "don't look back just keep on walking" Whoo-hoo whoo-hoo
Max: Get your hands off of her.
Guy: Who are you?
Max: Who do you think?
Guy: You want to start something here?
Chelsea: Hey, hey. I can handle this, okay? What the hell do you think you're doing?
Max: Whether you realize it or not, I'm protecting you.
Chelsea: From what?
Max: He had his hands all over you, Chelsea.
Chelsea: Max, that is called dancing.
Max: Oh! Is that what that is?
Chelsea: Didn't I ask you to leave me alone?
Max: This is pathetic. Do you want your face plastered all over the tabloids? You're gonna go to a trial. Do you have a death wish or something?
Jennifer: I don't know how you put up with me. I go back and forth. One minute I want you here with me, the next minute I push you away.
Frankie: Jennifer, being with you and J.J. and Abby -- that makes me happy. Don't you know that?
Jennifer: Thank you so much for caring for my children. You are a good man, Frankie. And I don't ever want you to feel like you have to live with all of these regrets.. You've had a great life, Frankie. You've traveled the world. You've had incredible experiences.
Frankie: If I had to do it over, I'd stay right here with you. Because when I fell in love with my...my first girlfriend, I had no idea she was the love of my life.
Jennifer: I love you. I do love you. And I know I keep going back and forth and back and forth, but I do want a future with you. I do.
Frankie: I think we really need to take it slow.
Jennifer: No, I don't want to take it slow. I want you to make love to me right now.
Frankie: Oh, I love you so much. I don't think I'll ever get enough of you.
Jennifer: No. I want you now. Right here, right now.
Chelsea: Max, is it so hard for you to understand that I might just want to get my mind off of things? I came here tonight because I wanted to party a little and have fun, but as usual, you came along to try to ruin that. Guess what -- you failed.
Max: Why do I even care? Whatever happens to her... it's not worth it. It's not my problem anymore.
Josh: Have I told you how sexy you look tonight?
Josh: Well, you do.
Jennifer: My goodness. I wonder what the neighbors are thinking.
Frankie: They're thinking what a lucky guy I am.
Jennifer: Remind me never to trim those trees.
Frankie: I'm serious. You are as beautiful as when I first laid eyes on you.
Jennifer: Yeah, back then we never did anything like this.
Frankie: So then we better be making up for lost time.
Man 1: Mr. Garcia, the guests you're expecting just arrived at the airport.
Man 2: Oh, thank you. Yes, Mr. and Mrs. Alex North. Very important people, Manuella. Check with housekeeping to make sure their suite is ready.
Man 1: Yes, sir.
Man 2: Thanks.
Hope: I don't want to go back to the casino. I want to stay here with you.
Patrick: Even after what I told you?
Hope: I have felt so close to you since I came to Morgan Island. I want us to get closer.
Patrick: Hope --
Hope: Patrick... you've been honest with me. It's time for me to be honest with you. You're not the only one who feels an attraction.
Patrick: I can't believe how beautiful you are. I'm not sure I can control myself.
Hope: Then donít.
Bo: I got to stop fooling myself. Hope and I are history.
Billie: You and I --
Bo: There's always been something there. And it means a lot to me that.... you've been there for me for the last couple of months.
Billie: I wish that there was more I could do, Bo. I really do.
Bo: I don't know why. I'm not really being fair to you. You know how I feel about Hope and always will.
Billie: When I fell in love with you before...you loved Hope then, too.
Bo: And like then...I had to move on with my life. Billie...I want to face life and what it has in store for me... and I want to do that with you.
Shawn D.: Claire is the reason I want to be a father so bad.
Belle: And I know why.
Sami: I want to be with Austin. Then just stay out of my way, Lucas.
Austin: Sami belongs with Lucas. But if you could have your heart's desire, you would be with me, wouldn't you?
Hope: Make love to me, Patrick. I need you. Make love to me.
