Hope: I must have read your e-mail a million times, Bo. And I still can't believe it. [Sniffles] How could you give up on us so easily?

[Telephone rings]

Jennifer: Hello?

Hope: Jen, it's me.

Jennifer: Hope Brady. Oh, my goodness. It is so good to hear your voice. I have been so worried about you.

Hope: I know. I should have been in touch.

Jennifer: Yeah, you should have been in touch, but let me tell you that is not the only reason I am upset with you.

Hope: I guess you heard the news.

Jennifer: Yeah, I heard the news, and I am not gonna let it happen. I will not let you divorce Bo.

Frankie: All right, assuming this killer, this fugitive is Lockhart, do you have any leads on where he might be?

Bo: No, no. He probably skipped town. You know, Lockhart -- he just had this way of letting me know that he and my wife had this friendship. I catch him anywhere near my wife again --

Frankie: Don't worry about that. Besides, Bo, right now, you have bigger problems to deal with than Lockhart.

Bo: Not in my mind. You can send these back to Hope. Or I could shred them here because I am not granting her a divorce.

Frankie: Bro, I hate to remind you of this. In fact, I hate everything about it, but...you know the law in this state. She doesn't need your consent. Now, I will do anything I can to help you, but my job as her attorney is to make sure her wishes are carried out.

Lucas: Just send another e-mail to Victor. Tell him we're closing the deal, and I'll have a full report on his desk by the end of the day tomorrow.

Eugenia: Okay, anything else?

Lucas: Yeah, my meeting with Silverman. Confirm that. It's in legal. Make sure that happens.

Austin: Lucas. Hi, Eugenia.

Eugenia: Hey.

Lucas: Hey, Austin, what are you doing here?

Austin: I have no idea. Lexie left me a bunch of messages and said she needed to see me.

Lucas: Yeah, me too. I got the same messages. So did Carrie. I guess she's on her way over, too.

Austin: That's weird. I wonder what this is about.

Lucas: I don't know. It must be important if she called us all down here like that.

Austin: Everyone except Sami. I mean, she's the only one of the four of us that wasn't invited.

Lucas: That's no surprise. She and Lexie can't stand to breathe the same air.

Lexie: I won't destroy other people's lives for you anymore, Sami. Carrie and Austin need to know that they are at no more risk of having a child with birth defects as anyone else.

Sami: Why? I mean, look, Austin is happy with me, and Carrie and Lucas are engaged.

Lexie: Well, then you shouldn't care if they learn the truth.

Sami: You think you're doing this to hurt me, but you are hurting yourself a lot worse. You and everyone who loves you.

Lexie: Worse than if I have cancer? I don't think so. You know, finding this lump in my breast was such a wake-up call. I am telling everyone the truth, and if that means destroying you by exposing you for what you really are, that's a bonus.

Sami: You don't understand what you're doing.

Lexie: I understand perfectly.

Sami: [Voice breaking] Damn it. You're forcing me to become a monster, and I don't want to be.

Lexie: Oh, Sami. You can spare the tears, okay? They may work on Austin, Lucas, and your daddy, but they are so wasted on me. You can't change my mind.

Sami: This is not a game, Lexie. Your whole future is at risk.

Lexie: Sami, there's nothing you can do to hurt me...or to stop me.

Sami: Maybe I won't, but Alex will, and it will be your own damn fault.

Alex: Oh, Marlena. Hey, hey, what's wrong?

Marlena: [Voice breaking] Alex...

Alex: Are you all right? What happened? [Exhales deeply] I should have guessed. You'll never stop, will you?

John: Nope.

Alex: This is why we need to go on that honeymoon.

Marlena: Yes, you're right.

Alex: Of course I'm right. Come on, let's get out of here.

Lexie: Uh, excuse me. Before you leave, there's something you all need to know.

Marlena: Lexie, what is it?

Lucas: Lexie, what's going on?

Austin: Why did you want to see us?

Carrie: Sami, what are you doing here? Did Lexie call you, too?

Sami: No, I just happened to be here.

Lexie: Thank you all for coming down, and, Marlena, I'm so glad you're here, too.

John: All right, so what's going on, Lexie? Why did you want to see us?

Abe: That's what I'd like to know. Well, Lexie?

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of our Lives.

Frankie: I'm sorry, Bo. I really am, but if you can't work it out, I have no choice but to follow through with her instructions. And listen, to avoid future awkwardness or bad feelings, I really think you should retain your own attorney.

Bo: Yeah, right. I can just sit back and let you lawyer types tear our life apart. You know -- who gets the house, the car, the...everything that we built together for the last 20 years.

Frankie: Listen, unfortunately, division of assets is a part of any divorce, Bo. Now, I don't expect any complications, but I would suggest that you and Hope enter into some sort of mediation process.

Bo: [Laughing] Mediation process?

Frankie: It may not ease the pain, but it could help to smooth the way.

Bo: I can't believe we're having this discussion.

Frankie: I can't either. I never thought I'd see the day where you and Hope would ever split up.

Bo: If there was a way that I could talk to her, just get through to her somehow.

Frankie: Maybe there is.

Abe: Let me talk to you, Lexie, just for a moment. Excuse us. Excuse us. Sweetheart, what is going on? I got your message. It sounded urgent. Now, why are all these other people here?

Lexie: Abe, I promise I will tell you everything in just a few minutes, okay? I'm going to tell everyone.

Abe: Sweetheart, if something is wrong, I'd prefer you to tell me in private. I'm your husband.

Lexie: Honey, please, just trust me on this, okay? I need to do this, this way.

Carrie: Do you guys have any idea what's going on, why Lexie wants to talk to all of us?

Lucas: I don't have any clue. Since Sami's here acting pretty tense, something tells me she knows something.

Alex: You'll have to excuse me for a minute. I need to confirm a few items for our trip.

Marlena: I'll be right here.

Tek: Don't even think about it, John. Just keep your distance. Keep your cool, man.

John: Don't worry about it.

Tek: It's my job to worry. I'm here to make sure you stay out of trouble..

John: I don't give a damn about North. Right now, I'm worried about Marlena. I was getting through to her, Tek. She's starting to get her memory back.

Tek: That's great news.

John: All I need right now is a little more time with her. She'll remember everything. Then I can get her away from North once and for all.

Tek: Look, John, just don't try anything stupid. The man's waiting for you to slip up.

Sami: [Thinking] Nice try, Alex, but it doesn't look like your brilliant plan to stop Lexie is gonna work.

Lexie: Everyone... [Clears throat] I'm sorry to have kept you waiting. I really appreciate you coming down here on such short notice. Um, [Clears throat] I'm sure you're all wondering what this is all about, right? I have something very important to tell you, and it's not going to be easy.

Frankie: What I mean is -- you're a detective. Do whatever it takes to find her. You have to talk to her and now. I mean, come on, Bo. There's got to be some way you can turn this thing around.

Bo: Frankie, I'm using every resource I have here.

Frankie: I know. Oh, you know what? I've got to go. I'm sorry, but I promised Jen that I would look after J.J. while she went shopping.

Bo: Things are going well with you guys, huh?

Frankie: Yeah, yeah, they are. It's good.

Bo: I'm glad to hear it. That's great.

Frankie: I never thought in a million years this would happen -- you know, that we'd end up back together again. Then, of course, it never would have --

Bo: If Jack hadn't died.

Frankie: I didn't mean it to sound that way.

Bo: No, no, I understand.

Frankie: And I'm not kidding myself, either. I know she -- she really loves him, and she always will.

Bo: But you were her first love. I'm telling you, man. Don't let her go. Don't end up like me -- losing the best thing that ever happened to me.

Jennifer: I don't mean to sound harsh, but I don't understand what you're thinking. It's like someone needs to sit you down and talk some sense into you. I mean, come home. Come home and then you and Bo can sit down and talk face-to-face.

Hope: That's not going to happen.

Jennifer: Why?

Hope: Jennifer, I really appreciate your concern, but I've made up my mind. I am divorcing Bo. I really don't have any other choice.

Jennifer: I just -- I can't believe this. You two have been through so much. You can get through this, too. You love each other.

Hope: Look, I'd really rather not discuss it, okay? Just know that it was a really...very difficult decision to make. And right now, what I need more than anything is your support and understanding. Please.

Jennifer: Hope, I support you in everything that you do, but I am so sorry that this is happening.

Hope: Believe me, so am I.

Jennifer: I mean, is there something that I can do?

Hope: How was your getaway with Frankie?

Jennifer: What? How do you know about that?

Hope: Maggie told me. She's so happy for you. You know what? So am I. Oh, honey, I know how hard things have been for you ever since losing Jack. Well, we all love Frankie, and he loves you, more importantly. I think the two of you could make a great couple.

Jennifer: You know, I think so, too, but why don't we just wait and see what happens?

Hope: Well, just remember. It's what Jack wanted.

Jennifer: I miss him so much sometimes, Hope.

Hope: Of course you do, honey.

Jennifer: Uh...probably the same way you miss bo right now.

Hope: I'm trying to keep busy, you know?

Jennifer: Busy on the island. Isn't it lonely there? I mean, have you met any people? Have you made some friends?

Hope: Well, um...actually, I've been here with an old friend.

Jennifer: Really? Anyone I know?

Hope: Yeah. Patrick Lockhart.

Frankie: If you need anything...

Bo: Yeah. Later. [Door closes] [Sighs] I'm gonna get you back, Fancy Face, no matter what it takes.

Jennifer: Did I hear you right? You've been with Patrick? I mean, we all wondered where he'd gone. I never dreamt he went with you.

Hope: Oh, no, no, no. Don't misunderstand. He didn't go with me. Believe me, no one was more surprised to find out that he was here on the same island, in the same bungalow than me.

Jennifer: The same bungalow?

Hope: Wait a second, no. There was some kind of a mix-up. I rented a place that I thought -- well, actually the agency thought was available that turned out not to be available. It turned out to be Patrick's and he was there. Talk about the biggest coincidence in the world, huh?

Jennifer: Yeah. I'll say.

Hope: Yeah, and being Patrick, he was so sweet about the whole thing. He insisted that I stay. He was so concerned about me, and you know Patrick. He doesn't take no for an answer.

Jennifer: Yeah. That sounds like Patrick. I mean, when I lost Jack the first time, he was there for me. I couldn't have gotten through it without him.

Hope: I feel the same way. He's really helped me deal with so much. He's amazing.

Jennifer: Well, that's good. I'm glad you have someone there that you can turn to -- a good friend.

Hope: Yeah, I just wish I could return the favor.

Jennifer: What are you talking about?

Hope: It's a long story. I shouldn't get into it.

Jennifer: Okay, well, next, when are you coming home?

Hope: I don't know. I can't say. It probably won't be for a really long while.

Jennifer: Hope, we miss you. We miss you so much. Gram and Aunt Maggie -- we want to be there for you.

Hope: Thank you. I really miss all of you, too, but I'm just not ready. Actually, I'm not sure if... if I'll ever be ready to come back to Salem. It just holds so many -- so many sad memories for me. Can you understand that?

Jennifer: Yes, I can understand that, but will you promise to stay more in touch please?

Hope: I'll promise you if you do something for me.

Jennifer: Of course. Anything. Name it.

Hope: Please do not -- do not tell anyone that Patrick Lockhart is here with me.

Jennifer: [Sighs] Okay. If that's what you want, you have my word.

Hope: Thank you. The last thing I need is Bo going ballistic.

Jennifer: Right, which he would.

Hope: Listen, I'd better get going, okay? I'll stay in touch. I promise.

Jennifer: Okay, well, take care of yourself, and I love you.

Hope: I love you, too, cuz.

Jennifer: Say hi to Patrick. Bye. [Telephone beeps off] Oh, my goodness, Hope. You are making a huge mistake. What are you doing?

Hope: I know you're worried about me, Jen...but I'm doing what I need to do.

Lexie: [Sighs] [Clears throat] The first thing I have to tell you concerns my health. I found a lump in my breast.

Abe: Oh, my God.

Carrie: I'm so sorry.

Abe: Sweetheart, why didn't you tell me?

Lexie: Abe, don't get alarmed. I don't know yet if it's malignant, but if it is, I'm prepared to deal with it. And one way I intend to do that is by eliminating all of the unnecessary stress from my life however I have to.

Nurse: Excuse me, Dr. Carver?

Lexie: Yeah.

Nurse: I'm sorry to interrupt, but I have these test results you've been waiting for.

Lexie: Thank you. Uh, the results from my biopsy.

Abe: Lex, what is it?

Lexie: [Exhales deeply]

Abe: [Exhales deeply] It's benign.

Austin: All right.

Abe: You're okay. Thank God.

Carrie: That's wonderful news, Lexie.

Austin: What a relief, Lexie.

Lucas: Thank God.

Tek: She's gonna be okay.

Abe: Oh, sweetheart. I am so glad you're gonna be okay, but why didn't you tell me this before, in private? You must have been scared to death when you found that lump.

Lexie: Yeah, I was, but -- [Pager beeps] I have to go.

Abe: Right now?

Lexie: I'm sorry. There's an emergency in 704. Please, I'll be back as soon as I can. Everyone, if you wouldn't mind bearing with me just a little longer, there's something I really need to tell you.

Carrie: Of course. We'll be right here, Lexie.

Lexie: Thank you. Excuse me.

Sami: [Exhales deeply] [Thinking] Damn it, Alex, where are you? Your stupid plan is definitely not working.

Marlena: Oh, Alex, where are you?

John: I need to talk to you right now.

Marlena: What are you doing? John, this is not good. This is not a good idea.

John: You're right. This is a great idea. I'm not gonna let this go. You are so close to remembering.

Marlena: No, no, no. I told you -- little snippets, little pictures. Nothing more than that.

John: It's gonna be more. It's gonna be a hell of a lot more. You are gonna remember everything. You are gonna remember our life together, our love together, and I'm gonna help you do it.

Lucas: I wonder what else Lexie has to tell us.

Carrie: I don't know. I'm just glad that lump she found was benign.

Lucas: Yeah, me too. Don't you think it was strange, though? She was still kind of freaking out, even after she told us the good news.

Carrie: I guess it must be tough to get over a scare like that so quickly. Listen, um, while we're waiting, there's something that I've been wanting to look into. I'll be right back.

Lucas: Where you going?

Carrie: The hospital nursery. I think I'm gonna start volunteering there..

Lucas: You know what? That's a great idea. It'll give you good practice for when you're a mom.

Carrie: Something like that. I'll be right back.

Eugenia: Okay, I'm sorry, but something still just doesn't make sense here.

Lucas: What are you talking about?

Eugenia: This whole thing with Lexie. It's just not her style to make such a big deal about it.

Lucas: Well, it is a big deal, Eugenia, at least it was.

Eugenia: No, I get that. I'm just saying for her to make this big huge announcement in front of everyone. Mnh-mnh. I mean, not unless she was gearing up for some sort of showdown. And I'll give you one guess who's gonna be on the receiving end.

Lucas: Sami.

Sami: [Panting] I thought so.

Alex: I was wondering when you'd show up.

Sami: You are the emergency in 704. What are you up to now?

Alex: Well, I think it's time that we let Lexie know who's really in charge here, don't you?

Jennifer: I cannot even believe that Hope is with Patrick. My gosh, if Bo ever found out, he -- well, that's okay. He can't find out. He can’t. I'm just gonna have to keep my mouth shut and not tell anyone.

Frankie: Not even me?

Bo: I've got to find a way to reach you, Fancy Face. This may be my only chance -- hell, my last chance. It better work.

Hope: Where are you, Patrick? I know you said you needed time alone, but I just wish you'd let me help you. I know what it's like to lose the love of your life. [Laptop beeps] Someone instant messaged me. I don't believe this. Why is he doing this?

[Baby crying]

Carrie: Oh! They're amazing, aren't they? They're so tiny. Oh, I never get tired of looking at them.

Nurse: Well, that's good because you're gonna be seeing a lot of them volunteering here at the nursery.

Carrie: I can't wait. Besides, it'll be great practice.

Nurse: Great practice?

Carrie: I just got engaged, and I'm hoping to be a mom one of these days.. Scary thought, but I want to be prepared.

Nurse: Well, something tells me you'll be a natural.

Carrie: You really think so?

Nurse: Absolutely. I'm sure you and your fiancé will be exceptional parents.

Carrie: Thank you.

Abe: I just don't understand it. Lexie finds a lump, and she doesn't tell me? She shares it with all these other people. Now, why the hell would she do that?

Tek: I don't know, Abe. I'm sure she'll explain when she gets back.

Abe: Yeah, she said that, but I...

Tek: Look, one thing I know is that she loves you. She would never do anything to purposely hurt you.

Abe: Thank you. Thank you, Tek.

Tek: For what?

Abe: For reminding me that this isn't about me. It's about Lexie.

Tek: Look, I didn't mean --

Abe: No, it's okay. It's okay. I know you and I have had our differences lately, but you've always been there for my family, and I'll never forget how you looked after Lexie and Theo when I was trapped on DiMera's Island. And I'm sure she won't either. You've been a good friend to both of us.

Eugenia: Well, we both know Sami has messed with Lexie before.

Lucas: Yeah, and she got burned.

Eugenia: But Sami never learns. I wonder what she did this time.

Lucas: I heard you talking to Carrie. You gave her your famous speech that you've changed.

Sami: Yeah, so? What's wrong with that?

Lucas: You only do that when you've done something wrong.

Sami: I haven't done anything wrong.

Lucas: I hope not, 'cause if you do anything whatsoever to come between Carrie and me --

Sami: Don't worry about it.

Lucas: I don't know what Sami's up to, but there's one way to find out.

Sami: Just give it up, okay, Alex? It's over. We're not gonna be able to change Lexie's mind. She's gonna tell everyone everything anyway, so let's just stop, okay? It's over. We're finished.

Lexie: Yes, you are. You know, I should have known the two of you were working together, that two of Salem's biggest snakes would find each other and try to stop me from outing them, but it's useless.

Sami: Look, Lexie, please. Why do you have to do this? You have nothing to gain. Abe is never gonna forgive you for cheating.

Lexie: We'll find a way to work through this, Sami. He will forgive me. Look, I intend on doing what's right from here on out, and that means that everyone, Abe included, will know the truth. Carrie, Austin, and Lucas will know about your betrayal, Sami. And John and finally Marlena will know what a monster you really are, Alex. You're both gonna lose everything. [Chuckles]

Alex: Only...you'll be the biggest loser of all. Oh, yes, Sami may lose Austin, I may lose Marlena, but you stand to lose your whole family.

Lexie: We'll see about that.

Abe: My relationship with my wife has nothing to do with you or your trying to keep John and Marlena apart.

Lexie: Abe...

Alex: It has everything to do with it, Abe. I mean, if you were in my shoes, if another man was trying to steal Lexie, wouldn't you do everything in your power to stop him?

Abe: You're damn right I would. If someone tried to take her away from me, I'd want to kill him.

Jennifer: I didn't even hear you come in.

Frankie: I'm sorry. I didn't mean to sneak up on you.

Jennifer: No, that's okay. I was just cleaning up, talking to myself.

Frankie: Yeah, I heard. You have some secret you can't tell anyone.

Jennifer: Hope called. Yeah, she didn't want me to tell anyone where she is, so I promised her that I wouldn’t.

Frankie: Well, how's she doing? Is she okay?

Jennifer: She's good. She's, uh, okay. I couldn't talk her out of the divorce.

Frankie: Yeah, I just served bo with the papers, and it's killing him.

Jennifer: My gosh, if the two of them would just sit down -- this is so frustrating.

Frankie: I told Bo the same thing. I did. I said, "do whatever it takes to track her down." And if I know my brother, he will. He'll find a way.

Bo: Come on, Hope. Answer. Let me know this worked.

Hope: Shawn, why are you sending me this picture? [Sniffles] "What are you up to? Why are you sending me this?"

[Computer beeps]

Bo: Yes. All right, it worked.

Jennifer: Okay, Frankie, I'm off to the mall. Thank you so much for watching Jack Jr., and if you're lucky, he may sleep for another hour.

Frankie: No problem. Have fun.

Jennifer: You look pretty busy. What are you doing?

Frankie: I'm running a profile on someone wanted in connection with murder.

Jennifer: Oh, wow. Is this a case you're working on?

Frankie: I hope not. The profile's on Patrick Lockhart.

Hope: Actually, I've been here with an old friend.

Jennifer: Really? Anyone I know?

Hope: Yeah. Patrick Lockhart.

Jennifer: Wait, are you serious? Patrick Lockhart?

Frankie: Look, I know that you two are friends, okay? But be glad that this guy is long gone.

Hope: "Shawn, are you there?"

Bo: "It's not Shawn. It's Bo, and we need to talk. Please call me."

Hope: "No. How dare you use our son's screen name to try to trick me. I want you to leave me alone."

Bo: "I'm sorry, Fancy Face. I can't do that. I'm sorry. I had to reach you. I had to tell you how much I love you and need you. I can't live without you."

Hope: I can't let this happen again.

Bo: "Please tell me we can work this out. I don't want a divorce. I don't want to lose you."

[Computer beeps] What the -- no! Damn it! Damn it.

Hope: [Sobbing]

Carrie: Austin, what are you doing here?

Austin: I had to talk to you.

Carrie: Austin --

Austin: Look, I overheard you talking to the nurse, and... look, I know you chose to be the Lucas and I'm seeing Sami, but I can't get you out of my mind. And I want to have a family so bad, and I want one with you.

Carrie: Austin, please, let's not do this. We talked about it. It's over.. We can't go back.

Austin: The only thing that I know is that I love you so much and that I am never gonna let you go.

Abe: I wonder what's keeping Lexie. She said she'd be right back.

Tek: I don't know. Maybe she got hung up and had to see a patient.

Abe: Yeah. Then I guess I'll get a cup of coffee.

Tek: Right.

Marlena: You can't keep me from going with my husband. Now, I've told you, I have to leave.

John: And I'm telling you I'm not letting you. I love you, Marlena, and I know you love me. And I know that you were remembering. You're getting close to putting it all together. You just can't stop trying. Now, we have been separated before, but we always found our way back to each other against all odds, and we're gonna do it again. All you got to do is remember the vows we took to love each other forever. You got to remember. You got to remember.

Marlena: I know what it's like to be without you for a month or a week or a day. I was...for 17 months and 3 weeks and 2 days. That's how long I hurt. That's how long my heart ached to be with you. It was worth it, though...to be back with you now. [Inhales deeply] We're not just lucky, you know. We're more than lucky. We're more than blessed. We're twice blessed. I love you. I love you.

John: I love you. Doc... the circumstances here have kind of...well, they kind of dealt us a funny hand. And there are things in my life, which include our life, that I don't remember. But I do remember the first time that I saw you after I got back again... in the hospital, and you were working, and...[Sighs] I had no idea who I was or my past. But there was a major connection there. And my heart stopped. They can take a human being and they can da lot of things to him, but they can't take away his love. I love you, and it is that simple. You are my life. Sweetheart, you are the reason for me rising in the morning and laying down at night. Oh, honey, we just are meant to be together, and I'm so happy that we are. I love you.

John: Oh, my God. You're remembering, aren't you? You're remembering our love, aren't you?

Lexie: What the -- where did you get that tape?

Alex: Oh, I just so happened to tape-record a conversation I had with your husband. I thought it might interest you to hear his views on infidelity.

Abe: What you're doing is wrong, North, and you know it. Marlena doesn't love you. She loves John. But you've managed to manipulate her. You've taken advantage of her amnesia to make her believe that you're the one she belongs with.

Alex: That's not true. I never had to manipulate her at all. The only reason she married John -- and Roman, for that matter -- is because she had amnesia then. She couldn't remember that she was already married and in love with me. Now, I know that some men might still consider that a betrayal of sorts, but I don’t.

Abe: Oh, that's very big of you.

Alex: Let me ask you something else, Abe -- another hypothetical. If your wife ever betrayed you willingly and knowingly, could you forgive her?

Abe: Lexie would never cheat on me -- not now, not ever again. That's one thing I don't have to worry about.

Alex: Of course not. But if she did, what would you do? Could you forgive her?

Abe: No, I couldn't forgive her. Satisfied? Lexie and I have had our problems, but if she ever broke our vows again, that would be the end. I'd be forced to leave her and take our son. She'd have no place in our lives, just as you have no place in Marlena's.

Alex: So, what's it going to be, Dr. Carver? Are you going to do the smart thing -- turn a blind eye and let Samantha and me live happily ever after with the people we love? Or are you willing to risk losing your husband [Gasps mockingly] And your little boy?

Lucas: I'll bet Lexie was gonna say something pretty bad, but you just dodged another bullet, didn't you?

Marlena: You're abusive physically and psychologically, and now you're drugging me, aren't you?

Belle: Maybe it's time for me to be honest with you about how I'm feeling.

Shawn D.: I cannot wait to read this letter. Finally.
