Celeste: Well, darling, what shall we do today, huh? Let's see. Should we go to the park? Hmm? How about the zoo? Go to the zoo?

Theo: Yeah.

Celeste: Yeah! I know. Let's go shopping. Oh, yeah! I saw a divine hat that I am just dying to have. And of course, yes, we are going to stop and pick up something for you, too, and for mommy because she works so hard. She never has a chance to get out and to -- to go shopping. Oh, dear God, no. Not Alexandra.

Lexie: What? It can't be. I just had a mammogram a few months ago. It is.. It's a lump. Where'd that come from?

Lucas: Hey.

Carrie: Hey, what is all this? What are you doing?

Lucas: Well, it's about to be cinnamon waffles and maple syrup. I don't know about you, but I worked up one hell of an appetite last night.

Carrie: I did, too. Last night was amazing.

Lucas: Oh, yeah? You're telling me.

Carrie: Mmm. We did burn some calories, but not quite enough for cinnamon waffles with maple syrup -- at least not yet.

Lucas: You know, I think you may have a good point there. Before we could partaketh in the waffleage, maybe we should burn some more calories.

Carrie: What should we do?

Lucas: That's a good question. Get rid of the coffee here.

Carrie: Yeah.

Lucas: Go back to bed, maybe. Pick up where we left off.

Sami: [Sighs] Aah! God! I'm such an idiot.

Austin: Sorry and good morning.

Sami: Good morning.

Austin: Last night was incredible. You were incredible.

Sami: So were you. But there is a problem.

Austin: What's that?

Sami: You were supposed to stay in bed 'cause I was gonna surprise you with breakfast in bed -- blueberry pancakes.

Austin: Blueberry pancakes. Oh, man.

Sami: They're still your favorite, aren't they?

Austin: Do I have enough time to take a shower?

Sami: Yeah, I'm just getting started.

Austin: Okay, I'll be quick.

Sami: [Sighs] I'm finally getting everything I ever wanted. Oh!

Kate: Excuse me. Could you tell me where Chelsea Benson's room is?

Nurse: Are you family?

Kate: She's my granddaughter, and I heard she was in a terrible accident.. I just want to know --

Billie: Mom. She's okay.

Kate: Oh, my. Thank God. Oh, baby. Oh, honey, it's okay.

Billie: [Crying] They just -- they just kept her overnight for observation, but we got so lucky.

Kate: Oh, my God. I heard that Bo and Shawn were real heroes, huh? And Philip, too?

Billie: They risked their lives to save her. They did everything.

Kate: Oh, so, Bo headed up the rescue, right?

Billie: Yeah, he wasn't gonna let anything happen to his daughter. And you know, I think something good actually came of this. I think that Chelsea finally realizes just how much he loves her. And I think it brought them closer together.

Kate: Well, I just hope Chelsea's not the only one who's getting closer to Bo. [Equipment beeping]

Bo: You've been through some pretty tough times already there, little girl. I don't know what I would have done if I had lost you, too. I love you. I hope you know that.

Chelsea: I just went up to my dad's e-mail preferences and rerouted it so that his outgoing mail would come to my computer first.

Kate: So, you intercepted Hope's e-mails to Bo.

Chelsea: God, she hates me so much, it just pushed her right over the edge. As far as Hope knows, Bo happily agreed to the divorce.

Kate: Why do I get the feeling that what Chelsea wants, Chelsea gets?

Chelsea: You're not gonna love me anymore, Dad.

Bo: Hey.

Chelsea: Not after I tell you what I did.

Bo: You're awake.

Chelsea: I couldn't sleep. I have to tell you the truth about everything..

Patrick: I'm glad you're gonna call Bo.

Hope: Uncle Mickey, it's Hope.

Patrick: Why are you calling him?

Hope: Yeah, um, yeah, I'm okay. No, I haven't been in touch with anyone else. You're the first person I've called. Uncle Mickey, there's something really important I need to talk to you about. It's complicated. But I want a divorce from Bo. No, you heard correctly. I want a divorce.

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of our Lives.

Hope: Uncle Mickey, I know it's a shock. It's -- because this divorce is really what's best for both of us. No, I understand. If you have to go to court, I understand. I'll let you go. I just -- I just wanted to tell you so you'd get things started. Yeah, I'll talk to Maggie.

Patrick: Hope, what are you doing?

Hope: Hey, Maggie. I guess you heard the news, huh?

Maggie: Yes, yes, I heard the news. Talk to me, Hope. What's going on?

Hope: Maggie, you know what's going on. I asked Bo for a divorce. And he agreed -- no hesitations whatsoever.

Maggie: I can't believe that. Sweetheart, listen, I'm not one to butt into your business -- well, okay, maybe just a little bit, just because I care about you so much. But I can't help but think that you're acting hastily here. I mean, you're still so emotional. You're still grieving for Zack. I mean, if anything, you and Bo -- you're gonna need each other more than ever now.

Hope: He has a family to help get him through it.

Maggie: His family? You're his family -- you and Shawn.

Hope: His other family -- Billie and Chelsea.

Maggie: Oh, honey. Billie's not his family.

Hope: She's the mother of his daughter, Maggie.

Maggie: Even so -- Hope, please. You know, I get the feeling that there's been some terrible misunderstanding here. I mean, you have got to talk to Bo about what you're planning.

Hope: I told you. I have. He had no objections whatsoever. So, the only thing left to do is to end it as quickly and as painlessly as possible.

Maggie: Will you promise me one thing -- that you'll wait until you get back to town, until you can see Bo and talk to him face-to-face?

Hope: I can't promise you that, Maggie. The fact is, I'm -- I'm not coming back to Salem... or to Bo.

Billie: Mom, don't start.

Kate: Honey, all I'm saying to you is that maybe this is giving you and Bo the opportunity to get closer again.

Billie: I would hardly call this an opportunity. We almost lost our daughter. I am not gonna use a near tragedy to make the moves on Bo, not to mention the fact that he is going through a very rough time outside of what just happened with Chelsea.

Kate: Believe me. Believe me. I know that Bo and Hope are on the outs.

Billie: No, Mom, they're not just on the outs. Hope has asked Bo for a divorce. So, the only thing that he is focused on now is getting her back.

Kate: A divorce. Wow, I didn't know that. Well, I mean, it just goes to confirm what I've always said. Bo and Hope are finished. Honey, I think you and Bo -- you and Bo are going to be able to be together now. Isn't that what you've always wanted?

Billie: Mom, stop it. It's not gonna happen. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go check and see when I can get Chelsea out of the hospital.

Kate: Oh, it will. It will be happening. 'Cause you and Bo deserve to -- deserve to be with each other. And thanks to Chelsea, you will be.

Bo: What is it that you want to tell me?

Chelsea: I am the reason that Hope wants the divorce.

Bo: Oh, no, no, no. The problems that Hope and I are having -- that's my fault.

Chelsea: No, it's not.

Bo: There's not going to be a divorce. I wrote Hope this long, long e-mail telling her how much I love her, that I'm gonna fight for this marriage, and that I am not gonna let her go. Once she calms down and reads that again, she's gonna change her mind.

Chelsea: No, she won't, not after what I did.

Celeste: That's wonderful. You are the most talented boy in the world. Yes, you are.

Lexie: Uh, mom, I'm leaving for work now. Thanks again for looking after Theo. Bye, sweetheart.

Celeste: Keep coloring, darling. I'll be right back. Um, you don't have to thank me, Alexandra. I'm always happy to spend the day with my grandson, but before you rush off, I want to finish this conversation about this relationship that you're having with Tek.

Lexie: Look, I can't think about that right now, okay?

Celeste: Well, you need to. Look, this affair -- this affair that you're having with this man, it could destroy your marriage, your whole life.

Lexie: Okay, look, you don't have to worry about that, all right? It's over. I am committed to staying with Abe and making my marriage work.

Celeste: Oh, well, now, you don't know how relieved I am to hear you say that, Alexandra, especially now.

Lexie: What do you mean "especially now"?

Celeste: Um, it's nothing, darling, nothing. It's just --

Lexie: Just what? What's wrong? Something's bothering you -- something else.

Celeste: You know that this Thomas Kramer has always bothered me -- everything about him. But now, Alexandra, I'm getting an especially disturbing feeling that he might even be hazardous to your health. I know that sounds ridiculous.

Lexie: No, not as -- not as much as you think. Um, but your vibes are a little off. Tek has nothing to do with it.

Celeste: With what? Darling, you're not ill?

Lexie: I might be. I found a lump in my breast.

[Water running]

Sami: Stop thinking about Lucas. It is over, Sami. Well, will loves me. And I have Austin now. And that is what matters. So, it is breakfast time. Pancakes. Okay, I need eggs. And I need the milk. Oh. No.

Carrie: Ahh!

Lucas: Oh! Oh!

Carrie: [Breathing heavily] [Laughs]

Lucas: I think we did it. I think we burned enough calories.

Carrie: I think so, too.

Lucas: I'll be back.

Carrie: Okay.

Lucas: [Exhales sharply]

Carrie: Wow. [Sighs]

Lucas: Wow. That was insane. Phew!

[Knock on door]

Lucas: Who the heck?

Sami: Hey --

Lucas: Hey, come right in, please.

Sami: I just need milk. Sorry, I'm in a hurry, and I ran out, and it's an emergency. I just need some milk.

Lucas: I ran out of milk myself. I'm making Carrie waffles.

Sami: Oh, you're making waffles.

Lucas: Yes, that's right. Is that such a big surprise?

Carrie: Oh, good morning, Sami. I thought I heard someone at the door.

Lucas: Hey, breakfast is almost ready.

Carrie: I can't wait.

Lucas: Yeah.

Carrie: I'm gonna get dressed and take a shower.

Lucas: Good idea. [Clears throat] Yeah?

Sami: Wow, you two are going at it, aren't you?

Bo: Chelsea, you shouldn't blame yourself. Besides, what could you do to come between me and Hope?

Chelsea: The other day --

Kate: Chelsea, hey.

Bo: Oh, hey, Kate.

Kate: Honey, you have to stop blaming yourself. You are not responsible for what happened between Bo and Hope.

Bo: That is exactly what I've been telling her. Look, Hope --- what's happening with us is not your fault.

Chelsea: Dad, you're not letting me finish, okay?

Kate: I have a good idea, okay? Why don't you just give me a few minutes alone with her? I think you and I need to talk, young lady.

Bo: Okay. You just take it easy. Don't stress, all right?

Kate: So... what's going on?

Chelsea: I want to come clean. I want to tell my dad the truth about everything I did.

Kate: [Sighs] What?

Chelsea: I've been a horrible daughter. I had no right to interfere with he and Hope's marriage. And he risked his life to save mine last night.

Kate: Okay. I understand that you're feeling guilty because of what he did for you or because you went through a traumatic experience, right?

Chelsea: Whatever, I just want to make things right.

Kate: Well, this isn't the way to do it. If you tell Bo and Hope that you intercepted their e-mail, that you altered it, it's only gonna make things worse for you, Chelsea. I mean, you're facing a trial, possible jail sentence. Do you really want to alienate your father now?

Chelsea: No, I don't want to. But it's a risk I have to take. What I did was wrong.

Kate: Yes, yes, it was wrong. I agree. But sometimes in life you have to do things that are wrong for the greater good.

Chelsea: What greater good?

Kate: By keeping Bo and Hope apart, you're giving your parents a chance to make their way back to each other. And that is what you want, isn't it -- your family together?

Bo: Damn it, Hope. Why don't you call?

Billie: Oh, Mom. I know you want what's best for me, but... the only person Bo will ever love is Hope.

Lexie: Once you finish your snack, you may get up from the table, all right? Here you go, Mom. Drink this tea. It'll help calm your nerves.

Celeste: Thank you.

Lexie: Okay. Look, I don't want you getting all freaked out, okay? A lot of lumps are completely benign.

Celeste: When was the last time you had a mammogram?

Lexie: Not that long ago. I have one every year, and I give myself a breast exam once a month, mom. I'm sure it's nothing at all.

Celeste: But you will have it checked out?

Lexie: Yes, of course.

Celeste: And right away? You won't hesitate?

Lexie: No, no, Mom, please. Don't go getting all alarmed, okay? Really, I probably shouldn't have even told you.

Celeste: Alexandra, I can't help but be alarmed. Breast cancer runs in our family.

Lexie: What?

Celeste: Um, well, look, I don't know why I didn't tell you earlier. I know I should have.

Lexie: What are you talking about? Who has breast cancer?

Celeste: Well, no one in our immediate family, darling -- distant relatives on my mother's side.

Lexie: I don't believe this. We have a family history and you never told me?

Celeste: I'm sorry, Alexandra. You know, it was just something that we never really spoke of.

Lexie: Never spoke -- Mom, that's ridiculous. Every family should know their medical history.

Celeste: Yes, yes, I'm so sorry, darling.

Lexie: Okay, um... just tell me something, all right? The outcome for these women -- did they catch it in time? Did they have to have radiation, lumpectomies, mastectomies? What? What happened?

Celeste: In each case... the final outcome was death.

Austin: [Humming]

Carrie: I love Lucas. I'm marrying Lucas.

Austin: I loved you, Carrie. She made her choice. Now I've made mine.

Lucas: Look, I'm sorry if that bothers you.

Sami: I didn't say that it bothered me. I'm not saying anything. I'm just curious. We're finished, and we both moved on, and... I'm happy for you. I'm happy for Carrie, too.

Lucas: Well, good. Good, I hope you mean that.

Sami: Of course I do. I want you both to be happy together.

Lucas: Just like I want you and Austin to be happy. Although it looks to me like you guys had yourselves a pretty good night last night, too.

Sami: Why would you say that?

Lucas: Because I know you. I know how you get. You've got that glow about you.

Sami: Well, I have to go. [Clears throat] I mean, if you don't have milk, I'm gonna have to go to the store and buy some.

Carrie: Or you and Austin can have breakfast here with us.

Maggie: I'll talk to Mickey about drawing up the divorce papers.

Hope: Thank you.

Maggie: But in the meantime, will you reconsider?

Hope: I wonít. I've made up my mind, and it's final. But I love you both very much, and I promise I will stay in touch.

Maggie: Well, we love you, too. We miss you so much.

Hope: Listen, I've got to get going. Please give Gran and Jen a big kiss for me -- everyone. And tell them I'll be in touch soon.

Maggie: Now, listen, take care of yourself, okay?

Bo: Hey.

Billie: Still no word from Hope?

Bo: None. And I don't understand it. Man, I pour my heart out to her in that e-mail. How could she give up so easily on us?

Billie: I don't know. But if you want answers, just call her. She's your wife, Bo. You love her. Find a way to get through to her.

Chelsea: Of course I want my mom and dad to be together. But sometimes things just aren't meant to be.

Kate: Bo and Billie are meant to be. Look, Billie has you back in her life again, doesn't she? And she can have Bo back in her life again, too. All I'm asking you to do is think about this. Think about it before you do anything because you have a chance here. You have a chance to -- to resurrect a great love, to reunite a family -- your family -- a family that should never, ever have been broken up in the first place. You want to make things right? This is your chance. This is the thing you should do.

Celeste: Look, darling, just because some very distant relatives had breast cancer --

Lexie: Which they died from, Mom.

Celeste: But, Alexandra, that doesn't mean that you're going to get it. Darling, that was many years ago. Treatments are far more advanced nowadays.

Lexie: Okay, Mom, I'm a doctor. I know that, all right? I also know that I am at risk more than average, just as you are. Genetics and heredity play a very important part in susceptibility, Mom.

Celeste: But this doesn't mean that we should expect the worst. Now, look, you said yourself that many lumps are benign.

Lexie: Yeah. Yeah, many are. Yeah, some are nothing more than swollen lymph nodes, which can be brought on by -- well, by stress, for one thing.

Celeste: And you have been under a great deal of stress.

Lexie: Yeah, yeah, that's probably all it is. Yeah, I've been under a lot of pressure at the hospital and then Abe and this whole situation with Tek.

Celeste: Wait a minute. I thought you said the situation with Tek was over.

Lexie: Uh, well, it is, sort of.

Celeste: Alexandra, what do you mean "sort of"?

Lexie: Well, Mom, you're not the only one who knows about my affair. In fact, I'm being blackmailed.

Sami: Thank you, Carrie. That's really sweet of you to invite us, but I'm sure Lucas wants you all to himself.

Lucas: No, actually, Carrie and I have plenty of time to be alone. If you'd like to join us for breakfast, that's fine. I don't have a problem with that. The more the merrier. Excuse me a sec. I got to get changed.

Carrie: So, good. The four of us are having waffles.

Sami: Yeah, yeah, it's so sweet of you to think of us, but you know, I really did just come here for a second. I just needed the milk and --

Carrie: I know. I know. Sami, look, I really want the four of us to get along. And so far, we're doing great. There might have been a time when you might have had an ulterior motive and come over here first thing in the morning with some lame excuse.

Sami: It's not. It's not a lame excuse.

Carrie: I know. That's what I'm saying. Those days are over, right?

Sami: I'm a different person.

Carrie: I know you are. Ever since I've been back, you've been nothing but a loyal and supportive sister -- the kind I've always wanted. I'll get you some juice.

Lexie: You want me to convince Carrie that she shouldn't choose to be with Austin.

Sami: I'm glad we understand each other.

Lexie: Oh, yeah, I understand. You're blackmailing me.

Sami: Well, Carrie, I'm glad that you know that I've changed.

Carrie: And I'm glad that we're close again. It means the world to know that I can trust you.

Sami: Thanks. [Doorbell rings]

Carrie: Oh, I'll get that. Austin, hi.

Austin: Hi. Hi. I'm sorry. I don't mean to bother you. I just was looking for Sami.

Carrie: She's here. Come in.

Sami: Uh, Austin, I'm sorry I disappeared on you like that. I just had to get some milk. I thought maybe they'd have some.

Carrie: But since we're out, I've invited you and Sami to join us for breakfast.

Austin: Really? Really? You sure you don't mind?

Lucas: Not at all. There's plenty to go around.

Carrie: You won't be getting blueberry pancakes, but from what I hear, Lucas makes a mean cinnamon waffle.

Sami: I can vouch for that.

Austin: Sounds great.

Carrie: Okay, great. Can we get you coffee?

Austin: Definitely. Yeah.

Sami: No, thanks.

Lucas: Sami... may I talk to you for a minute, please?

Austin: Just a little cream, please.

Carrie: And one sugar. I remember. What? What are you looking at? I'm a mess. I just got out of the shower.

Austin: No, no, no. Actually, I was thinking that you look incredible.

Sami: What did you want to talk to me about?

Lucas: I heard you talking to Carrie. You gave her your famous speech that you've changed.

Sami: Yeah, so? What's wrong with that?

Lucas: You only do that when you've done something wrong.

Sami: I haven't done anything wrong.

Lucas: I hope not, 'cause if you do anything whatsoever to come between Carrie and me --

Sami: Don't worry about it, okay, Lucas? You and Carrie and me and Austin -- we are gonna be together forever.

Carrie: Please, I so do not look incredible. I haven't even dried my hair.

Austin: No, it's not that. You just have this, I don't know, glow about you today.

Sami: Oh, well, I can tell you why. [Clears throat]

Austin: No wonder.

Sami: But I probably have that same glow. I mean, we certainly earned it..

Carrie: Excuse me.

Austin: Why would you do that?

Sami: What?

Austin: You know what. That was so uncomfortable, Sami.

Sami: Austin, we had sex last night. So did they. I'm not ashamed of it. Are you?

Austin: No, no, like I said, I thought last night was wonderful. I don't regret it for a minute.

Sami: Well, I'm sorry about the pancakes.

Austin: Hey, you know, there's always tomorrow.

Sami: [Thinking] Now nothing can ever destroy my happiness.

Celeste: Blackmail? Who on earth is trying to blackmail you?

Lexie: Actually, two people -- Alex North and Sami Brady.

Celeste: Oh, Samantha. Of course. I should have known. And that Alex North -- I never had a good feeling about him. But, darling, how do they even know?

Lexie: Trust me, Mom. They do, okay? They know about my affair, and they are holding it over my head. They're threatening to tell Abe if I don't do what they want, help them get what they want, which in Sami's case is Austin, and with Alex --

Celeste: Ahh, yes, it's Marlena.

Lexie: Yep. I have done some terrible things, Mom. And it is eating me alive.

Celeste: Oh, darling. Of course it is. But now, you've got to put a stop to this right now. You cannot let them blackmail you.

Lexie: You're right. You're right. I canít. I canít. I can't let them do it, even if it means I risk losing Abe.

Celeste: Well, now, you have even more to risk, Alexandra. You have your health to consider here, darling. And being under all this stress, it could very well have caused this lump.

Lexie: If it's benign.

Celeste: It has to be.

Lexie: Well, if it isn't, then, you know, chances are I've caught it early enough. And, well, I'll just have to deal with it however I can, right?

Celeste: That's right. Yes.

Lexie: Right, just like I am going to deal with Alex and Sami once and for all.

Patrick: I thought you were gonna call Bo.

Hope: I just couldnít. He and I have nothing left to say to each other.

Patrick: I seriously doubt that. Hope, I think you're making a huge mistake by not talking with him more about this before you go through with it.

Hope: Again, I don't see the point. Yes, I was hasty in asking Bo for a divorce, but when I read his reply, that e-mail said everything. He wants a divorce. He considers our marriage over. And it is. [Sighs] There's no turning back now.

Bo: Look, Billie, I appreciate your support, and I will -- I'll figure out where Hope is. But she basically told me that she needs time to herself. And that's what I'm gonna give her.

Chelsea: I want my mom to be happy, too. Billie's been incredible to me, and I've done nothing but put her through hell. I've taken what should have been the best time of her life -- finding her long-lost daughter... and I've made it into a nightmare. And I'd do anything to make it up to her just to take away all the pain I caused her.

Kate: Okay, then why don't you?

Chelsea: Because... I've put Hope and Bo through so much more pain. Not only did I take away their little boy. Because of me, they are gonna get a divorce.

Kate: No, no, that would have happened anyway.

Chelsea: No, it wouldn't have. Eventually, they would have gotten back together. They love each other way too much to stay apart for long.

Kate: Chelsea, people do fall out of love. And the way I see it, it was inevitable, and you were just hurrying it along for your parents' sake. You need to stop beating yourself up about that.

Chelsea: You and I both know it was for my own sake. Let's face it. I was selfish and conniving, but it's not too late to turn things around. I mean, yeah, my dad might end up hating me, but --

Kate: Chelsea...

Chelsea: No. I am telling Bo and Billie everything about what I did. I'm gonna tell them about how I intercepted Hope's e-mail and made her to think that dad wanted a divorce.

Kate: Oh, my God. If you do that, you're going to ruin absolutely everything.

Chelsea: I don't care. It's what I have to do. I'm telling Bo and Billie today, and there's nothing you can do to stop me.

Frankie: You still really love him.

Chelsea: He's my dad. I have to tell him the truth.

Kate: It's going to be the biggest mistake you have made in a lifetime.

Hope: I have to move on without Bo, figure out what my next move is.

Abe: "Wanted Felon. Extorted a young woman's life savings, left her dead.."

Bo: That's Patrick Lockhart.
