Mimi: [Sighs] I need to call the florist about the bouquets and Shawn's boutonniere. Where did I put the marriage license?

Belle: I have to stop Shawn from marrying Mimi.

Mimi: Oh! Ohh! [Knock on door] Just a minute.

Bonnie: How's my beautiful bride-to-be?

Mimi: She's a basket case. That's how she is.

Bonnie: Did you talk to Belle?

Mimi: No.

Bonnie: Why not?

Mimi: Mom, what am I supposed to say to her? "Oh, gee, Belle, I heard you talking in your sleep last night, and I'm begging you, please don't ruin my wedding." Mom, if Belle stands up during the ceremony and tells the congregation that she's still in love with Shawn, it's over. Philip will lose Belle, and I will lose Shawn.

Kate: That is not going to happen. We're going to find a way to neutralize Belle once and for all.

Belle: Sorry, Mimi. I still love Shawn. You can't marry him.

Lucas: You're my destiny. I knew it. I knew it when I was much younger, but -- but I gave up. I... I didn't think I was worthy. But maybe it's best because -- and now we're really ready for each other. No one -- no one can keep us apart.

Carrie: Austin.

Lucas: No, you were hallucinating. Yeah, those are the meds talking. When you get better, you will realize I'm the man you want to be with. Right? Right?

Austin: Excuse me. Hi. Is Carrie Brady allowed visitors?

Nurse: I think Dr. Carver's in with her right now, but I'll let you know when you can go in.

Austin: Thank you.

Lucas: Those for Carrie?

Austin: Yeah, yeah. Thatís for Carrie?

Lucas: Yeah, it is. I remember she used to have a thing for stuffed animals.

Austin: Yeah, I know. Do you know how she's feeling?

Lucas: I was in there earlier. She was kind of out of it. Where you been?

Austin: I was with Sami, and then I had to go home and change.

Lucas: She's jealous, right? Sami's jealous again? She's not getting all the attention? So what do you do, you just leave Carrie's side just to be with Sami? Nice.

Austin: Okay, you and I, we need to have a serious talk.

Lucas: Sure, about what?

Austin: About your non-future with Carrie.

Sami: [Thinking] Oh, God, Lexie, don't put any more ideas into Carrie's head.

Lexie: Okay, your blood pressure is normal, still no fever. How's the pain level?

Carrie: Meds are working wonders. So, when can I go home?

Lexie: Soon, but you just had surgery, so let's not rush things, okay?

Carrie: And do you think I need to go see my OB. About the scar tissue you found?

Lexie: Well, whenever you're ready to start trying to conceive, that's always a good idea.

Carrie: And do you think that there's anything she can do to improve my chances?

Lexie: Well, that's something you'll have to discuss with her. If it comes to it, there are drugs you can take, but, you know, the best way to increase your chances of conceiving --

Carrie: Is to hurry up and beat my biological clock. I know. I don't want to just pick a man, any man, just because I'm feeling desperate to start a family.

Lexie: Yeah, of course not. But Austin and Lucas are both crazy about you, Carrie. And you say that you still have feelings for them, right? So, you know, the sooner you make a decision, the easier it'll be for all of you, so don't think about whose feelings might get hurt. Don't think about Sami. Just think about you, your future husband, and the wonderful family you're going to have someday.

Abe: [Chuckles] You know, man, you are going to wear a hole in that floor.

John: I got to get in there and see Marlena.

Abe: You will, but in the meantime, you just got to calm down.

John: North caused that explosion at Lois Banks' cabin. Now I got to prove it.

Abe: You heard the arson investigator. He ruled it an accident.

John: It wasn't an accident! North caused it.

Abe: Look, buddy...I know you think he's gonna hurt Marlena and with good reason, but you got to be smart and you got to be patient. Now think about your police officer training. But the bad guys, they usually slip up. And when they do, that's when we get them.

John: Abraham, if you think I'm gonna stand around and wait for North to make his move, you don't know me very well. [Monitor beeping] [Clock chimes ringing]

John: Now, this was handmade by a Master Swiss Clockmaker -- 1853.

Marlena: [Laughs] Oh, it's so beautiful.

John: Now, each time it chimes, you remember my love for you.

Marlena: Like I could ever need a clock for that.

Marlena: John. I remember. I remember the clock. I remember...all of it. I remember us.

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of our Lives.

Lucas: She doesn't want to have anything to do with you. How many times does she have to say it, huh? Look, if you really thought that you had a future with her, if you really thought that she wanted to be with you, you wouldn't be out here fighting with me. You'd be by her side, telling her you want to spend the rest of your life with her, but you know exactly what her answer would be. It'd be no.

Carrie: I am so torn, Lexie. I really do have feelings for both Austin and Lucas. But what if neither one of them is the one for me? I don't want to rush into things for the wrong reasons. I can't just snap my fingers and say, "hey, you, make me pregnant."

Sami: [Thinking] Well, that's the smartest thing Carrie's said in a long time.

Carrie: And I know that I'm so lucky to be where I am right now...but after what happened between me and Austin the first time we were married, I don't want to put either of us through that again, especially if there's a child involved.

Lexie: Sounds like you're leaning towards Austin.

Carrie: I don't know. I'm driving myself crazy. I'm probably driving you crazy. I'm sure I'm driving them crazy, too.

Lexie: Carrie, they are both wonderful men, and whatever you decide, I know you'll be happy.

John: Hey, baby.

Belle: Hey, how's mom?

John: She's, uh...she's, uh...asleep, and I think she's coming around.

Abe: Hey, look. Why don't you get some air, visit with your daughter?

John: Yeah, that's a good idea. Listen, if Marlena wakes up --

Abe: I'll find you, I promise.

John: Thanks. Come on, Izzy, I'll buy you a real cup of coffee and you can tell me all about my beautiful grandchild.

[Monitor beeping]

Marlena: John.

Alex: Marlena, it's me -- Alex. I'm here with you.

Marlena: [Moans] I'm glad you came. I knew you would.

Alex: How are you feeling?

Marlena: I'm tired. I'm so tired.

Alex: You just need to rest.

Marlena: Yeah. I love you, John.

Abe: You know what? I wish there was something I could do for John.

Tek: Yeah, well, as long as Marlena keeps insisting she wants to be with that creep, there's not much anyone can do.

Abe: Yeah. Hold on here.

Tek: There's your boy. He's in a hurry to get somewhere.

Abe: Yeah, I'm gonna find out where. Where did he go?

Alex: Damn. Now she comes out of her amnesia. Must have been that explosion. [Sighs] I have come too far. There's no way I'm going to lose Marlena to John now. I'll kill her before I let that happen.

Kate: Your happiness is at stake, Mimi. You can't let Belle ruin your wedding.

Mimi: And what do you want me to do, Kate? Put a muzzle on her?

Bonnie: Why not? She's your Matron of Honor. She'll wear what you tell her to wear.

Mimi: Mom, this is serious!

Bonnie: Okay, I have an idea.

Kate: What?

Bonnie: I don't know if I ever told you this, but I once had a wild fling with a rodeo cowboy. That guy never went anywhere without his lariat. He used to chase me around the bedroom and the --

Mimi: Mom, stop, okay? T.M.I.

Bonnie: Oh, for Pete's sake. We're all adults here. I swear, that man could hog-tie and rope a spider, and let me tell you, he taught me a few tricks. Now, if we can just rustle ourselves up a little bit of rope...

Belle: I really feel terrible about this, but I would feel so much worse if you married Shawn, and your marriage wouldn't last anyway, and that's why I can't let you go through with this wedding.

Mimi: You can't "let" me?

Belle: Well, I still love Shawn, and I'm gonna go tell him right now that we should be together.

[Hoofbeats, horse whinnies] What the hell are you doing? Get this rope off of me.

Bonnie: Not a chance. No way I'm gonna let a varmint like you ruin my Mimi's wedding. Whoo!

Mimi: Mom, are you out of your mind? I am not going to let you kidnap Belle. She's my Matron of Honor and her husband is Shawn's best man. I think people would be a little suspicious if she didn't show up to the ceremony.

Kate: Actually, I think maybe your mother's on the right track.

Mimi: Oh, God. You're both crazy.

Kate: No, no, we're not. It's going to take something drastic to stop Belle from breaking Philip's heart and possibly ruining the happiest day of your life.

John: Honey, I appreciate you stopping by to check on your mother, but shouldn't you be getting ready for Shawn and Mimi's wedding? I mean, you are still the Matron of Honor, right?

Belle: Supposedly.

John: Izzy, what's going on?

Belle: I just thought that...

John: That you would be the one marrying Shawn, right?

Belle: I still love him, Dad. What am I gonna do?

John: Oh, baby. I hate seeing you be torn up like this.

Belle: I know that I only have myself to blame. I just don't know how I can stand by and watch him marry Mimi.

Lexie: Well, I know you have a lot to think about, but try and get some rest, okay? And please know I am always here if you need to talk, okay?

Carrie: Thank you so much for listening, Lexie.

Lexie: You're welcome. [Monitor beeping]

[Clock chimes ringing]

John: Each time it chimes, you remember my love for you.

John: And this is the first time I've seen her since I heard the news.

Marlena: Do you want to hold her?

John: Could I?

Marlena: She's your daughter. Here, Belle.

John: And, Isabella, it's time for you to meet your big brother, Brady here. [Whistles] This way, kid. Look at the baby. And, Brady, this is your little sister, Isabella. We're gonna call her Belle here. And when you both get older, Brady's gonna be giving you a hard time, kid, because that's what big brothers are supposed to do anyway. He's also gonna look out for you. Just like your old man has. Always and forever. Right? Right. Want to share your ball with her? Now, is it starting to feel like a home now, Doc?

Marlena: You know, when I brought Belle here, I thought I was taking her away from something. Now I feel like I'm bringing her to something -- to her father... and her brother. To a family.

Marlena: Oh, my. I feel so relaxed. So safe. So happy. And I'll always be like this. You'll never, ever leave.

John: Never.

Marlena: I want to spend the rest of my life with you.

John: Are you sure?

Marlena: I've never been more sure of anything.

John: Oh, Doc.

Belle: I just miss mom.

Marlena: I miss you, too.

John: Easy.

Belle: Mom? Oh, my God. Is -- is that really you? [Sobbing]

Marlena: Belle.

Roman: No, Kate, get back.

Marlena: Stop it, stop!

John: Easy, easy, easy! Careful! Doc!

Kate: Aah! Ohh!

John: Oh, my God. Call 911 quick. [Footsteps approach]

Marlena: Oh. Who is it?

Lexie: Marlena, it's me -- Dr. Carver.

Marlena: Lexie. Lexie.

Lexie: Marlena...what is it?

Marlena: I remember. I remember everything. I remember.

Alex: Better take these just in case. If Marlena's memory has returned, I'll need to make sure no one ever finds out the truth.

Abe: North. What were you doing in my wife's office?

Kate: You need to call Belle and get her back here.

Mimi: And then what?

Kate: There is a way to make her keep her big mouth shut.

Bonnie: I trust Kate.

Mimi: I donít.

Bonnie: She liked my rodeo cowboy idea. You heard her -- make the call. Come on, honey.

Mimi: [Groans]

Bonnie: What do you have up your sleeve, Katie?

Kate: Mmm, we're going to appeal to my daughter-in-law's incredibly guilty conscience. We're going to rake her little heart over the coals.

John: Baby, I know how much you love Shawn. I also know how...long you've been struggling with this. But the reality is, you are married to Philip. The two of you brought a beautiful girl into this world, and she's already gone through so much, but she hung in there. And now she is going to expect her mother and father to hang in there for her.

Belle: I know all that, Dad. And I love Philip. I do. It's just that every time I see Shawn, I feel, like, this pull, and no matter how hard I try, I can't let go. And I don't think it's okay for Claire to spend her whole life watching her mother be unhappy.

John: Baby --

Belle: Daddy, I have tried so hard to be happy with Philip, and I know that my life is wonderful. I know it is, but I just feel like...something's missing. What do I do?

John: I'll tell you what to do, but I don't think you're gonna like to hear what I have to say, honey.

Alex: I was looking for Dr. Carver.

Abe: And what do you want to see Lexie for?

Alex: I wanted to talk to her about Marlena's condition.

Abe: I'm keeping my eye on you, North.

Alex: John Black's the one you should be keeping your eye on. Now if you'll excuse me.

Lexie: Marlena, do you know why you're here at the hospital? Do you remember the explosion?

Marlena: Yes, I do. I-I-I --

Lexie: Okay, don't -- don't strain yourself, okay? You've been through a traumatic experience. You need to rest. I'm gonna give you something. Okay? It's a mild sedative. It'll help you relax.

Marlena: I-I-I-I don't want that. I want to talk.

Lexie: First -- first you need to conserve your energy, okay? There'll be plenty of time for talking later. Okay. You should be feeling very... better very soon, okay? I'll be back to check on you again in a little while, okay? All right.

Marlena: Who -- who's there?

Austin: As usual, Lucas, you want everything I want.

Lucas: As least I have a chance with Carrie and you donít. You know, I'd never hurt her. I'd never hurt her the way you did. How's she gonna trust you and respect you again?

Nurse: Temp's still normal. Very good.

Carrie: I'm feeling a lot better.

Nurse: Good. You have a couple of handsome visitors waiting to see you, but I want to wait and get Dr. Carver's okay before I send them in.

Carrie: Thank you. Um, would you mind handing me my bag?

Nurse: Sure.

Carrie: Ah. Thanks.

Nurse: Sure.

Carrie: [Sighs]

Tek: Hey, you.

Lexie: Tek. What brings you to the hospital?

Tek: Well, I was here to see Abe, but you're a whole lot prettier.

Lexie: I'm busy.

Tek: Hey, hey, hey.

Lexie: What? [Door opens] Okay, stop. Stop it! This is a public place, Tek. I work here. My husband is here. Do you want him to see us?

Tek: Maybe.

Lexie: Tek, please don't do this.

Tek: Don't you think it's time we got things out in the open?

Lexie: No! You know very well how I feel. Abe can never know about us. I mean it. Look, I have to preserve my marriage, okay? Not just for myself and Abe, but for Theo, too.

Tek: You can't ignore what's happened between us any more than I can. We're in this together.

Lexie: I know I locked this door. [Thinking] Oh, my God. Abe. Sami, what the hell do you think you're doing?

Sami: It's about time we had a little chat, Lexie, about my sister Carrie.

John: I wish I could tell you what you want to hear, baby, but I canít. The fact is you are married to Philip, and Shawn has moved on. You can't spend your life chasing after what used to be.

Belle: How can you of all people say that? When you and mom --

John: No, baby, that's different.

Belle: How is that different, Dad? You want me to give up on Shawn, but you keep chasing after mom.

John: Isabella, your mother has amnesia. She truly believes that she's married to Alex North, but Shawn consciously has chosen to make a life with Mimi, just like you chose to be with Philip, and you chose to make a baby together.

Belle: I didn't choose that. It just happened.

John: What the hell are you saying? You regret having Claire?

Belle: No, Dad. Of course not. I love her more than my own life. But I love Shawn, too.

John: I'm sorry, baby. You got to find a way to get over this. You have to put Claire's needs in front of your own. Besides...what happens if you leave Philip? I mean, there's no guarantee that Shawn's gonna leave Mimi to be with you. Have you thought about that? And after that, what if Philip doesn't take you back? I'm not trying to scare you here. It's just that there's the possibility you could wind up being alone. Is that what you want? Have you thought about that possibility?

Belle: I don't know. I have to go.

John: Honey, I'm --

Belle: Look, Dad, it's fine. Just call me if anything happens with mom.

John: Of course. Hey, baby. You know, maybe after you see Mimi and Shawn taking their vows and this becomes official, perhaps then it'll all become real to you. Maybe it'll make it easier for you to let him go. [Cellphone ringing]

Belle: Oh, God, come on. [Ringing continues] Hello?

Mimi: Hey. I need my Matron of Honor. Where are you?

Belle: Hey, Mimi. I'm at the hospital checking on my mom. She got in an accident.

Mimi: Oh, my God. Is she okay?

Belle: She will be. She just needs to rest.

Mimi: So, then it's okay if you leave her, right? 'Cause I -- I really need you to help me get ready for the wedding.

Belle: Oh, yeah, I'm sorry. I should have called sooner. I'll be there in a little bit.

Mimi: Great. See you soon. Oh, Belle. Um...if I didn't tell you this before, I meant to. It really means a lot to me that you're going to be part of the most important day of my life.

Belle: Well, uh, let me go or I'm never gonna get there.

Mimi: Right. Okay, thanks.

Bonnie: Oh, Kate, you are brilliant.

Mimi: I'm not so sure it's going to work.

Bonnie: Always Miss Negativo. Of course it's gonna work.

Mimi: Mom, you didn't hear Belle before. She was really determined to tell Philip how she felt.

Kate: Well, the only way we're going to be able to keep her quiet is to play on her guilt.

Mimi: I can't do that. I am the one who is keeping a horrible secret. I am the one who should feel guilty.

Bonnie: Honey, honey. You feel guilty enough for all three of us. Look, you don't tell someone you're gonna be their Matron of Honor and then decide to wreck their wedding. You got nothing on old Tinker Bell, honey.

Mimi: Mom.

Kate: Listen. Listen to me. If you're not gonna listen to your mother, listen to me. Do what I'm telling you to do, and do it now, or you can kiss your future goodbye.

Lexie: If you're so concerned about your sister, why don't you go visit her?

Sami: I already have.

Lexie: Oh, then you know that she's feeling much better, and we'll be releasing her soon.

Sami: Good. I overheard the two of you talking earlier.

Lexie: You were eavesdropping on my conversation? You know, get the hell out of my office.

Sami: You told Carrie that she has to have a child pronto. Look, I just want to know who she's gonna choose -- Austin or Lucas.

Lexie: Ask her yourself. She's your sister.

Sami: You know very well that Carrie doesn't want to talk to me about stuff like that.

Lexie: Oh, gee, I wonder why. Sami, if you don't leave right now, I'm calling security.

Sami: It is not like I want to hang out here with you. I need your help.

Lexie: I'm not telling you a damn thing.

Sami: Okay, fine. Then you'll just have to face the consequences.

Lexie: Ooh! Are you threatening me?

Sami: Threatening you? No. I just want to know what my sister's future plans are for making the men that I love miserable.

Lexie: [Chuckles] Oh, the men you love. Hmm.

Sami: Why, yes, it is possible to love two men at the same time. And while we're at it, please stop telling Carrie that it's okay for her to trample all over my feelings, too.

Lexie: You know, Sami, for once in your life, why don't you do the right thing, okay? Just get the hell out of my office.

Sami: Did you just tell me to do the right thing?

Lexie: Yes, I did, and the second part was get the hell out!

Sami: Okay, I think I will.

Lexie: Thank you!

Sami: But since you're so concerned about doing the right thing, Lexie, I guess that means that I should tell Uncle Abe about your affair with Tek.

Austin: Should you be even out of bed?

Carrie: I don't know. I'm feeling better, but there's something I need to talk to you both about.

Austin: Good, because Lucas and I need to talk to you, too.

Lucas: Yeah.

John: Abraham.

Abe: Oh, hey.

John: So, have you seen North around?

Abe: I just caught him coming out of Lexie's office.

John: What the hell was he doing there?

Abe: Beats me. He put on his innocent act, said he was looking for Lexie to check up on Marlena.

John: Oh, nothing he ever does is innocent.

Tek: Yeah, it doesn't smell right to me.

Abe: Yeah, me either. You know, I've said this before, but I really think you're right about the guy. He's really up to no good.

[Monitor beeping]

Marlena: [Moans] Lexie, it's -- it's... all coming back to me now. All of it. The penthouse. I fell down the stairs. I lost Roman's baby. I remember all of it. And most of all -- most of all, I -- I remember John. I love John. He's the only one. He's -- he's the love of my life.

Belle: Hey.

Kate: Well, finally, she arrives.

Belle: Hey, Mimi.

Mimi: Hey. Um...thank you. Mom, ladies, do you mind if Belle and me have a few minutes?

Bonnie: Of course, honey. But only a few. Ladies, let's take this out in the hall for now.

Bonnie: Isn't this exciting? The big day is finally here.

Mimi: Okay, sit. I have something for you.

Belle: Okay, what is it?

Mimi: Um, it's a special gift...for my Matron of Honor and best friend.

Belle: Oh. It's a photo album. That is so nice. Aw. Philip and Claire and me.

Mimi: Yeah, you and Philip are so in love. You can see it in every picture.

Belle: Aw.

Mimi: And this one of Claire is so adorable.

Belle: That is so cute. And you and Shawn.

Mimi: Because of you, today is possible, Belle. I mean, if you hadn't fallen in love with Philip, I would never be living happily ever after with Shawn. And I know it's been hard for you sometimes, but when you told me how happy you were for Shawn and me, I knew you really meant it. And, of course, I am so thrilled for you, too. I mean, it's amazing how everything has worked out, isn't it? I mean, we all really did end up with the right partner. And after everything that happened with Rex -- I mean, I know you didn't mean for him to leave me when you said what you did...but I guess it's just how it was meant to work out. And now my life couldn't be more perfect or complete, and I have you to thank for giving me a chance to be happy again.

Kate: Ah, excellent.

Bonnie: Your plan is working like a charm.

Kate: Yes, it is, thanks to Mimi's performance.

Bonnie: Well, she's my daughter, of course.

Kate: So far, so good. But I can't wait for that wedding to happen. I will not be happy until Shawn and Mimi are husband and wife.

Lexie: You're a monster. You know that?

Sami: I'm just a woman who will do whatever it takes to make sure that Austin winds up with me.

Austin: So, you already have made up your mind?

Carrie: I have.

Lucas: Which one of us, Carrie?

Bo: When you find love, you got to grab it and hold onto it, no matter what.

Hope: Bo and Billie have pretty much become inseparable since I've left. How can Bo and I have a future?
