Lexie: Oh! Oh, my God! Let me go! Tek!

Tek: I'm sorry. I had to see you.

Lexie: No! No. No. Stop it. I can't do this.

Tek: Lexie, stop fighting it. You know you want me.

Lexie: What if someone sees us?

Tek: We'll go somewhere where they wonít.

Lexie: I cannot be with you like this, Tek -- not anymore, okay? Not anymore, not anywhere. I have to be faithful to Abe.

Tek: Lexie. Lexie!

Lucas: Hey. Uh, I'm a little busy right now.

Sami: Well, I just wanted to check on. Will. How's his ankle?

Lucas: It's fine. It's getting better.

Sami: So, he's in his room?

Lucas: Yeah, yeah. He's packing a bag right now. He's gonna spend the night with Caroline and Grandpa Shawn tonight.

Sami: Why?

Lucas: Why? Because I have plans. That's why.

Sami: Oh. I see you've planned a nice, cozy, romantic dinner. Who's the lucky girl?

Lucas: I think you know.

Sami: Lucas -- oh, my God. Hydrangea and orchids. Those are my f-favorite flowers. That's why you didn't ask me to stay with Will. Is this dinner f-for --

Lucas: Wait a minute. This -- this dinner's not for you. It's for Carrie..

Carrie: Oh! Sorry.

Austin: You know, we have got to stop meeting like this.

Carrie: I know. Scene of the crime.

Austin: I'm really glad I ran into you. I thought maybe if you have some time, we could talk.

Carrie: I canít. I mean, not now. I got some thinking to do.

Austin: About you and me?

Mimi: What are you saying? You won't marry Shawn and me?

Fr. Jansen: I'm saying, Mimi, that marriage is based on honesty and trust. I can't allow you to stand before God in this church and take solemn vows until you tell Shawn the truth -- that he's the father of Belle's baby.

Shawn D.: I don't believe this. Your daughter kills my little brother, and now she's out clubbing, partying, having a good time. And this is the reason why you lied to mom?

Bo: It wasn't like that.

Shawn D.: It was exactly like that, and that is why mom left. I would never blame her if she never spoke to you again.

Hope: Oh, my God.

Zack: Help me, Mommy.

Hope: Baby, hang on! Mommy's here! Hang on! Aah!

Patrick: Hope!

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of our Lives.

James: Help me!

Zack: Mommy, help me!

Hope: Hang on, baby! Mommy's here! Zack, grab my hand, baby! Zack, grab it! [ Grunts] I got -- oh! I got you. It's okay, baby. Mommy's got you. I'm not gonna let you go. I'm not gonna let anything happen to you.

Patrick: Hope, James, hold on! I'm gonna find some rope! I'm gonna pull you up!

Hope: Did you hear that? Patrick's gonna rescue us. Everything's gonna be okay. Aah! Oh!

Bo: No matter what's happened between your mom and -- between your mom and me, she should be here for your wedding. You should have told her about this.

Shawn D.: No. She doesn't need to be here -- not in this church -- the same one where she just buried Zack. I wouldn't do that to her.

Fr. Jansen: I'm sorry, Mimi, but there's no other way. You have to tell Shawn the truth.

Mimi: I know that. Believe me, I do. But what if when I tell him, he decides he wants to go back with Belle? I mean, Shawn has very old-fashioned ideas when it comes to family. I mean not "old-fashioned." "Traditional," which is one of the reasons I love him so much. He believes so strongly that a child belongs with and should be raised by both of its parents, which is why he thinks that Belle and Philip should stay together and why if he knew Claire was his, he'd want to raise her with Belle.

Fr. Jansen: Mimi --

Mimi: It's true, Father. And then Belle would divorce Philip, and the two of them would get married, and I'd be left all alone, and I would lose Shawn forever.

Fr. Jansen: You don't know that, that's going to happen. Regardless of Shawn's traditional beliefs, he loves you very much. He's committed to you.

Mimi: I know he loves me, but...I just think if he knew the truth, it would change everything.

Fr. Jansen: That's a chance you're gonna have to take. But he does need to know. Remember what we discussed in pre-cana classes?

Mimi: Lies and deception have no place in a marriage.

Fr. Jansen: Look, I know this is difficult, but you can't put it off any longer. You have to tell Shawn today -- the sooner, the better.

Bo: I understand that you're angry with me, are my son, and you're getting married tomorrow.

Shawn D.: And you are not going to be there, because I want to focus on Mimi. She is all I need now. She is my family.

Mimi: What's going on?

Shawn D.: Nothing. Nothing. I was just telling my father that he is not welcome tomorrow at the wedding.

Bo: Don't tear this family apart any more than it already is.

Shawn D.: Now I'm tearing the family apart?

Mimi: Shawn, stop it! Stop this fighting. I have to talk to you. I have something very important that I need to tell you.

Carrie: Um, I'd rather not talk about that. I've got a lot of things that I need to think about.

Austin: Yeah. Yeah. You know, I've been doing some thinking myself, and I don't mind telling you that it's about you and me and the life that I want us to have together..

Carrie: I really got to go.

Austin: Yeah. Right. I don't want to hold you up. I've got some errands that I have to run myself. I just stopped by to check on some things at home. Wow. It was a total lie. The truth is I stopped by to see if you could get together later with me to talk. I know you have some thinking to do, and maybe you'll be finished by then.

Carrie: Maybe I will. I'll let you know.

Austin: Okay.

Carrie: [Exhales deeply]

Austin: That seemed like a yes.

Lucas: I'm sorry about that, all right? My mistake. I forget these were your favorite flowers. I'll make sure to get Carrie something else.

Sami: [Scoffs] Wow. That's quite a mistake to make there, Lucas. Obviously you were pulling out all the stops -- every trick in the book -- to get Carrie into the sack.. Who thought it would be so tough for you?

Lucas: It has nothing to do with tricks. I don't want to just get her in the sack, all right? I got feelings for her. Sorry if that upsets or makes you jealous.

Sami: I'm not jealous. You and Carrie are welcome to each other. Since I'm gonna be with Austin, I guess everyone will be happy.

Lucas: You've burned Austin and I so many times, or have you forgotten? He'd have to be crazy -- as crazy I would -- to be involved with you again.

Sami: Oh, well, we'll see about that, Lucas. I think I'm gonna surprise you. I am gonna be with Austin -- just you wait and see.

Shawn D.: What's wrong? What is it that you have to tell me? I need to ask you for something, and I realize that it's asking a lot. But you can consider it your wedding gift to me, 'cause it's all I really want.

Shawn D.: What is it?

Mimi: Your forgiveness.

Shawn D.: You want my forgiveness?

Mimi: Shawn, this wedding should be about bringing families together, not driving them apart or further apart. Your dad should be there when we get married. So I'm asking you if you'll find it in your heart to forgive him. Do you think that you can do that?

Hope: Oh, my God! Aah! Patrick, hurry! The ledge is giving way!

Patrick: Hope, hang on! I got the rope. Okay, I'm gonna drop it down. Okay, tie it around James. I'm gonna pull him up first.

Hope: All right. Patrick's gonna pull you up first, okay? You be a brave boy. There's nothing to be afraid of, I promise. I won't let anything happen to you. Okay? All right, Patrick. He's ready. Start pulling.

Patrick: Just a little more. All right. I got you. I got you. Okay. Okay.. Okay. You made it. Let's get this off of you. Okay. You okay? Okay.

James! I'm glad you're all right.

Patrick: Okay. All right. Hope, hang on. You're next.

Hope: Oh, my God! Uhh! Oh, God.

Patrick: Hope, try to reach the rope!

Hope: I can't!

Tek: Lexie? Lexie!

Carrie: Lexie?

Lexie: [Gasps] Oh.

Carrie: I'm sorry. I didn't mean to startle you.

Lexie: No. It's okay. Um, oh. Honey, you seem upset. Is something wrong?

Carrie: No. I mean, I don't know. The truth is I'm really confused right now. I'm a mess. I would love someone to talk to -- someone impartial.

Lexie: Well, you know, you can always talk to me.

Carrie: I was hoping that you would say that. Want to go sit?

Lexie: Uh, sure. Uh, so, uh... what's going on?

Carrie: In a nutshell, I'm caught in between two men, and I don't know what to do.

Lexie: Wow. Um, wow. That -- that can be difficult.

Carrie: Tell me about it. I can't believe that this is happening. I thought that I was over Austin, or I thought that we were over, you know, when he raided by company, and I swore that I would never forgive him again.

Lexie: But now you have?

Carrie: I'm not sure.

Lexie: Oh. Well, who's the other guy?

Carrie: It's Lucas.

Lexie: Hmm.

Carrie: I mean, yeah, Austin is the love of my life, but Lucas has been so good to me. And I don't know if I could ever trust Austin again, you know? And maybe he can't trust me, either, you know, after what I did to our marriage. I just -- I feel like we've changed so much, and... I don't know what to do.

Lexie: Yeah. I could imagine.

Carrie: And to make everything much morse, they're the same two men that Sami wants.

Lexie: No. Come on. You've got to be kidding me. Wait. Sami wants both of them? Oy.

Carrie: And I know that she's still in love with Lucas, but she swears up and down that she's over him. But since Lucas wants nothing to do with her, or so he says, she now wants to be with Austin.

Lexie: Did she tell you that?

Carrie: After Austin and I broke up, she was very honest, and she told me that she would like to pursue something with him.

Lexie: And what did you say?

Carrie: [Sighs] I told her to go for it. I was so angry with Austin. I figured maybe they were meant for each other, after all.

Lexie: And now you're wishing that you hadn't given her the go-ahead, right?

Carrie: It sure complicates everything.

Lexie: Well, you know what? If I were you, I wouldn't worry about Sami. I know it's easier said than done, but Austin and Lucas would have to be out of their minds to ever fall for her again.

Austin: Caroline.

Caroline: Hmm? Oh, hi.

Austin: I'd like to order some takeout, if that's okay.

Caroline: Well, of course it is. What can I get you?

Austin: Your granddaughter's favorites. Everything that Carrie loves. I'm gonna surprise her with a romantic picnic.

Caroline: That sounds lovely, Austin. I know just the thing. How about a cup of coffee while you wait?

Austin: You are the best. I'll take it. I'll sit right over there. Thank you.

Caroline: Kelly. Kelly... [Speaking indistinctly] Oh.

Lucas: Hey.

Caroline: Hello, Lucas.

Lucas: Caroline, thank you so much for watching will tonight.

Caroline: Oh, my pleasure. Grandpa Shawn was thrilled to have someone watch the game with him.

Lucas: Oh, yeah. Will, too. They're parked in front of it right now, and they're not going anywhere.

Caroline: Oh, okay. Well, what's up? Got plans for tonight?

Lucas: Yeah, yeah. Actually, you could say that. I'm surprising Carrie with a romantic candlelit dinner at my place tonight, and I need you to give me her favorite dessert.

Caroline: Yeah. Oh, boy.

Shawn D.: Look, I said I would talk to my dad, and I did.

Mimi: Shawn, I understand that your dad has really disappointed you, but he is still your father, and he loves you, and I know you still love him.

Shawn D.: Yeah. But?

Mimi: Then you should be able to forgive him. We all make mistakes -- sometimes very bad mistakes -- and it's usually only because we're afraid of losing the people that we love. We don't ever really think that we're going to hurt anyone. So if you love someone, then you'll understand or you'll try to understand why they made that mistake. You won't just shut them out of your life and close the door. Because if you do that, then everybody loses. Please show me that you're capable of forgiving. I really need to know that right now.

Shawn D.: This is really important to you, isn't it?

Mimi: Yes, it is.

Shawn D.: All right. My dad can come to the wedding.

Mimi: But do you forgive him?

Shawn D.: Yes. I forgive you... ...because that is what Zack would want. He wouldn't want us fighting.

Bo: No, son, he wouldnít.

Shawn D.: So, you'll be there tomorrow at the wedding?

Bo: Nothing could keep me away. Thank you, Mimi.

Mimi: I just think forgiveness is really important.

Bo: Well, I pray that someday Shawn's mom will forgive me.

Hope: Uhh! Uhh! I can't reach it! Uhh!

Patrick: Hang on, Hope! I'm gonna help you!

Hope: Uhh! Be careful! Closer! Uhh! Oh! [Gasping]

Patrick: Hang on, Hope! I'm pulling you up!

Patrick: All right. I got you. Hold on. Hold on. Okay. Let's go. I got you. Hold on. I got you. All right. I got you. Okay. Careful. Careful. Okay. I'm gonna put my jacket under your head. Okay. There you go. Are you all right?

Hope: I can't move my legs.

Patrick: Get a doctor! Hurry! All right, just sit tight. Don't move, okay? Don't try to move. I'm gonna call Bo. Okay. Take it easy.

Bo: Hope.

Shawn D.: What about her?

Bo: I've just had this feeling. I'm worried that your mom's in trouble. [ Cellphone rings]

Bo: Hope?

Bo: Hope? Is that you? Are you there? Fancy Face? Hope, are you there? Are you okay? Please, answer me. [Sighs]

Shawn D.: Did she say anything? Was that mom?

Bo: No. No one was there. No one said anything.

Shawn D.: Did you check your caller I.D.?

Bo: "Call is blocked." It could be a wrong number.

Mimi: Well, you said you had a feeling Hope was in trouble.

Bo: Yeah. I'm always worried Shawn's mom. It's probably nothing. I'm gonna go light a candle for Zack and say a prayer. Excuse me.

Shawn D.: I always thought my parents would be together. Seeing them split up makes me appreciate even more what you and I have. Our love and our trust means everything to me.

Patrick: Are you in pain?

Doctor: I was just at the school dispensary. What happened?

Patrick: You got to help her. She took a bad fall. She's in a lot of pain.

Doctor: Stand back. Give me some room.

Lucas: Caroline, please just tell me the truth, okay, 'cause you always give the best advice, and I value your opinion very much. Do you think I have any chance with Carrie at all?

Caroline: Oh, yes, I-I think you do. And, you know, if you and my granddaughter get together, that would be just wonderful.

Lucas: Well, thank you. I think so, too.

Caroline: Of course, I-I did like you with my other granddaughter -- Samantha.

Lucas: Right. Yeah.

Caroline: Well, you know, you and Sami have a son, and you're already a family.

Lucas: Listen, Caroline, I love you, but please don't start with me, okay? It's never gonna work out between me and Sami. I'm sorry. It's never gonna happen.

Caroline: You want some real words of wisdom? Never say never.

Caroline: Your order's almost up.

Austin: Excellent. Thank you.

Caroline: So, how do you like living with my granddaughter? I mean my other Granddaughter -- Samantha.

Austin: It's going okay. It's going okay. We've become good friends, believe it or not, and we work really well together most of the time.

Caroline: Is that all?

Austin: Has Sami said anything to you about us?

Caroline: No. No. She hasn't said a word.

Austin: Good. Good. I mean, I just -- Caroline, I just don't want her thinking that we have a future together romantically. I really don't want Sami to get hurt. I love Carrie, and I have every intention of getting her back, and I'm not gonna let anyone stand in my way..

Caroline: Mm-hmm. Well... oh, boy. Oh, boy. Oh, boy.

Carrie: All I want is to get married and start a family. The clock is ticking, you know, and I'm afraid if I wait too long --

Lexie: Carrie, honey, please listen to me. I wouldn't worry too much if I were you, okay? I mean, look at me. For years I couldn't get pregnant, and then all of a sudden there was Theo. So anything's possible, okay? But, yeah, the longer you wait, the harder it can be to conceive.

Carrie: You're so lucky to have Abe and Theo. You have the perfect marriage, a beautiful family. That's exactly what I want.

Lexie: Well, I'm sure you'll have all those things someday. You -- you just have to decide who it is you really want to be with and then commit to that person completely. It's the only way it can work.

Carrie: You're right. I have to make up my mind and stick to it. Marriage is a huge step. It's forever, especially when a child's involved. And whatever I decide, I can't worry about Sami. She had her chance with both men.

Sami: [Thinking] So did you. Why can't you just go back to Mike or find some other guy in a city a few thousand miles away?

Lexie: Absolutely. You know, the most important thing is to be with the person that you really love or love most, you know? I-I think it's possible to love two men at once, but there's always one that you love a little bit more. Let's play a game. Turn around. Turn around. Okay, close your eyes. Don't even think about it. Just right now, at this moment, which man do you love most?

Carrie: Austin. Oh.

Sami: [Sighs]

Mimi: Please, God, give me the strength to tell Shawn the truth, and please let him forgive me. Please, God. [Exhales deeply] Oh. Father. I was just praying to God to give me strength. I'm so afraid I'm not gonna be able to do it and I'm not gonna be able to tell him..

Fr. Jansen: You will, Mimi, because you know you have a moral obligation to tell him the truth before you marry him.

Mimi: Well, it's not like I really have any other choice. You won't marry us, otherwise. So I better just do it right now...even if it means the wedding never happens.

Fr. Jansen: I still wouldn't be so sure that, that's what's going to happen. But one thing I can promise you -- you will feel so much better once you've unburdened yourself..

Mimi: [Sighs]

Shawn D.: Hey.

Mimi: Hey.

Shawn D.: You okay?

Mimi: Yeah. I have to talk to you. It's about Belle's baby. We have a responsibility to Claire --

Shawn D.: Yeah. Well, of course we do. We're her Godparents. It's a big responsibility. I hope, as she gets older, she knows that we'll always be there for her -- almost like a second set of parents. I hope she sees us as people that she can always count on and trust.

Mimi: I'm sure she'll always look at you that way.

Shawn D.: And you, too.

Mimi: But you're the perfect father figure. In fact... Shawn... you are.... a great dad.

Shawn D.: Why, I hope to be someday -- sometime soon. I can't wait to start a family with you. I love you, okay? I-I can't wait to be a father. And, um, speaking of fathers, thank you for getting me to... make up with mine. I know we don't always see eye to eye, especially lately... but he was very good to me as I was growing up. He -- he was great to Zack and me. And I think he would have been to Chelsea, as well, had circumstance been different. I think that explains why he treats her the way he does now. I couldn't imagine not knowing that I had a daughter -- someone out there keeping that information from me. If -- if that happened to me, I swear, I'd kill him.

Bo: Zack... I know you're up in heaven. I need your help, Tiny Man. I need you to watch over your mommy, keep her safe. If you can... bring her home. You know how much I love her. I can't lose her.

Doctor: So, are you getting the feeling back in your legs?

Hope: I think I'm starting to.

Patrick: That's a good sign, right, doc? She's gonna be okay?

Doctor: Well, she has no broken bones, but her back is seriously injured..

Hope: Injured? How?

Doctor: Sprained. I'm afraid it's gonna take you a while to get back on your feet. You need constant care. I can take you back to my clinic here on the island.

Hope: No. No hospitals. I canít.

Doctor: But it will be very difficult for you to care for yourself in this condition.

Patrick: That's okay. I can take care of her.

Hope: No. Absolutely not. I won't let you do it. It's asking too much.

Patrick: Hope, don't worry. I know exactly what to do.

Bo: Hey, ma.

Caroline: Oh, hello, Bo. How are you, sweetheart?

Bo: Oh, I've been better.

Caroline: I saw the headlines about Chelsea. You must be worried sick about her and about Hope.

Bo: Yeah.

Caroline: Have you heard anything from Hope since she went away?

Bo: I got a text message from her. She wants to be left alone to think about the future. She will be coming back to Salem for the trial -- wants to make sure that Chelsea pays for what she did. She also wants me to choose between them -- choose whose side I'm on -- Chelsea or my wife.

Caroline: Oh, sweetheart, that's a terrible position that you're in. Oh! You have to choose between your wife and your daughter.

Bo: How am I gonna do that, Ma?

Caroline: [Sighs] First things first. I'm gonna bring you a nice, hot bowl of chowder, and you're gonna sit down, and we're gonna talk.

Bo: I'm not hungry.

Caroline: You've got to eat, dear. Now, come on. Sit down.

Bo: Okay. I know better than to argue with you.

Caroline: [Sighs] Caroline special! Oh, the two takeout orders. The same time? Okay, one for Austin, Lucas, and both of them carry out. Here you go, Lucas. You know, it's, uh, direct from the oven.

Lucas: Fantastic. Thank you.

Caroline: Homemade peach cobbler. Oh.

Lucas: For you.

Caroline: Right. Right.

Lucas: Keep the change.

Caroline: Yeah. Good luck. Good luck.

Lucas: Thank for you everything. I appreciate it.

Caroline: Sure. Well, Austin, you're good to go. It's a Brady pub feast -- all of Carrie's favorite dishes.

Austin: Great. She's gonna be so surprised.

Caroline: Oh, she'll be surprised, all right.

Austin: The money's right there. Thank you. [Smooches]

Caroline: Yes, dear. Good luck. [Inhales, exhales deeply]

Carrie: That's my answer, Lexie. Austin is the man that I dream about, and I've loved him forever. [Sighs deeply] But so much has happened between us, and there still is Sami, and she wants him, too.

Lexie: I thought you said you weren't going to worry about her.

Carrie: I know. And I also told her that he was all hers, but -- [Exhales sharply] I'm waffling again.

Lexie: Carrie, if Austin is the man you love, that's the man you should be with -- period.

Carrie: But I do care about Lucas, too, and I'd hate to even think about hurting him.

Lexie: Which is why it's best to let Lucas know as soon as possible that there is no future for the two of you -- before things get more serious.

Carrie: You're right. I appreciate your advice. You've given me a lot to think about.

Lexie: Good luck, okay? Let me know what happens.

Carrie: I will. Thanks again.

Sami: [Thinking] Damn Lexie and her advice. It must be nice to be so perfect and have all the answers.

Tek: You thought you were pretty slick, huh? Come here.

Lexie: Tek, stop. What are you doing?

Tek: I can't let you go. I got to have you.

Lexie: Mmm. Mmm. Mmm. Mmm. No. No. No. Stop. We can't do this.

Tek: Why can't we? No one's around.

Lexie: You are crazy, Tek.

Tek: You make me that way. I can't wait another minute. I want to make love to you right here, right now.

Lexie: Here?

Tek: Yeah.

Lexie: What if someone sees us?

Tek: Who cares?

Lexie: Okay.

Sami: [Thinking] That two-faced little hypocrite. She has the nerve to bad-mouth me to my sister, and she's cheating on Abe with one of his friends, no less. [Scoffs] This could be useful, though. Oh, there's Carrie now, still trying to figure out which man she wants. If it weren't for my big sister, I'd have my pick of Lucas or Austin.

Carrie: [Groans] What's the matter? What's wrong? H-help. Help.

Austin: Well, it looks like we both had the same idea.

Lucas: Yeah. Working late with Sami, huh?

Austin: No, no. I'm done with work for today.

Lucas: Oh. Well, that's nice. See ya.

Austin: Are those for Carrie?

Lucas: Yeah. Yeah, actually. Got a hot date, you know? I'll see ya. [Door closes]

Austin: Sorry, man. There ain't no way that date is gonna happen.

Caroline: Here, dear. Eat it while it's hot.

Bo: Thanks, Ma.

Caroline: About Hope, I have some advice for you.

Bo: Good. Give it to me. I could use as much as I can get.

Caroline: I think you should go after her. Try to find her and don't wait.

Bo: Ma, I'd like to do that, but she made it very clear -- she wants to be left alone.

Caroline: I'm telling you, Bo -- find your wife and be with her or take the chance of losing her forever.

Patrick: Oh, good. You're awake. I made you some herbal tea.

Hope: Thank you.

Patrick: You're welcome.

Hope: I don't even remember falling asleep.

Patrick: You must have passed out from the pain medication.

Hope: I don't know what I'd do without you. This isn't the first time you've rescued me. And God knows... with my luck these days, it probably won't be the last.

Patrick: No matter what happens, I'm here. I always will be.

Shawn D.: So, is that what you wanted to talk about -- our responsibility to Claire?

Mimi: I just -- I just want to be a good Godparent. And then sometimes, you know, I just wonder if there's more I could be doing.

Shawn D.: You're gonna be a great Godmother, just like you're gonna be a great mother to our kids. Father Jansen. We, uh, we are out of here. So, thank you very much, and we'll see you tomorrow at the wedding.

Fr. Jansen: Good. Then I take it Mimi told you?

Shawn D.: Told me what?

Marlena: I'm married to Alex, so why can't I stop thinking about John?

John: What would you do if some son of a bitch was out to get Lexie?

Austin: You cannot accept the fact that she doesn't love you and she never will.

Belle: You and I --

Shawn D.: Are over. If you're not gonna be happy for the both of us, then I really don't want you at the wedding.
