Bonnie: And this looks good like this.

Shawn D.: Wow. You...look beautiful.

Bonnie: Well, I think we can safely put any doubts to rest. Anyone can see by the look on that man's face that he is head over heels in love with the woman wearing this dress.

Mimi: Oh, no, this is wrong! We can't get married now.

Marlena: I thought you were in jail. What are you doing here?

John: Well, I know how disappointed Alex will be, but I made bail. Your bridegroom's attempt to frame me for murder isn't gonna work.

Marlena: Alex doesn't frame people, even someone he dislikes as much as he does you.

John: I had nothing to do with Lois Banks' death. Now, to someone with normal brain function, that would mean that someone else killed her. And to answer your question why I'm here -- I'm here to make sure that you are not Alex's next murder victim.

Marlena: That is so ridiculous. I may have lost my memory, but one thing I know for a fact is that Alex would never, never, ever hurt me. He's -- he's my protector.

John: Oh, from me, you mean.

Marlena: Well, you were the one who said it. Look, John, you're ruining a very special moment for me. Alex and I are planning on renewing our wedding vows.

John: Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know all about it.

Marlena: I might tell you that Alex had this gown specially designed for me.

John: You got to be kidding me.

Marlena: No, why would I be kidding you?

John: Well, I give him one for creativity, but this is one move he's never gonna pull off.

Patrick: What are you doing here?

Chelsea: Oh, God, Patrick. You scared me. I didn't think anyone was here..

Patrick: Well, I thought you never wanted to see me again.

Chelsea: I donít.

Patrick: Then get out of my house.

Chelsea: Are you gonna have me arrested for breaking and entering now, too?

Patrick: Chelsea, come on.

Chelsea: No, Patrick. Because of you, I could be going to jail for the rest of my life. You know, you say you care about me and my mom, but -- God, why am I even having this conversation with you? I just came by to get my clothes.

Patrick: What are you so angry about, anyway?

Chelsea: Isn't that obvious, Patrick?

Patrick: You ran your little brother down and let your mom take the blame. Now, there are a lot of people suffering here. You think you're the only one?

Chelsea: No, I donít.

Patrick: Why should Billie be the one to pay for your crime?

Chelsea: Like I told you a million times, this was her idea, not mine.

Patrick: Like you didn't guilt her into that.

Chelsea: Well, you saved her, so you must be very happy about that, even if it means she'll never forgive you, so...

Patrick: Wait a second.

Chelsea: What do you want, Patrick?

Patrick: Nothing from you. You don't have to move out to get away from me. I'm leaving Salem.

Hope: I still don't know if I should do this.

Jennifer: You're here now, so for no other reason, just go inside and make sure Bo's okay.

Hope: He must have been drunk. He didn't even close the door.

Jennifer: Even better. You can just go right in, and I'll wait right here for you. Go on.

Hope: Bo?

Jennifer: What? What's wrong? What is it? Oh, my gosh. Hope...I'm sorry.

Hope: Why do I have to be hit over the head to see the truth? He made his choice. Now he has to live with it.

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of our Lives.

Chelsea: You're leaving Salem? Wow. I sure won't miss you.

Patrick: I know some people who might -- Jennifer and Hope. They've been good friends to me, some of the best I've ever had.

Chelsea: And that would have nothing to do with the fact that they're both rather good-looking for their age, right?

Patrick: I'd stay here if I thought they needed me, but... Jennifer has Frankie to help her with Abby and Jack Jr., and... Hope -- I don't know what she's gonna do, but a mother losing her child's probably the worst thing that could ever happen. And she doesn't have Bo supporting her because he's too busy making sure you're okay all the time.

Chelsea: Well, excuse me for breathing, Patrick.

Patrick: That guy's got some nerve. He's not there for his wife, but he sees me comforting her, being her friend, he freaks out.

Chelsea: My dad's really threatened by you, isn't he?

Patrick: He thinks I'm hitting on his wife, you know? You saw what he did at the funeral, right? It's a hell of a place to pick a fight.

Chelsea: Yeah, that's really awful.

Patrick: That's the main reason I'm leaving Salem. I am not gonna be the reason that Bo and Hope split up. What's up, Chelsea?

Chelsea: Nothing. I was just thinking, if you were such a good friend to Hope, you wouldn't be bailing on her when she needs you the most. I mean, her husband's losing it.. It's not doing her any good. If she doesn't have you to count on, she might just go over the edge.

Patrick: Like I said, I'm not gonna be the reason Bo and Hope break up. Leaving town is the best thing I can do for both of them.

Chelsea: Where are you going?

Patrick: I'm going to pack.

Jennifer: I'm so sorry I brought you here. Come on, let's go. You don't need to see this, okay? Come on. Hope.

Billie: Bo... make love to me again.

Hope: I've had enough.

Jennifer: Come on, come on.

[Car doors opening, closing]

[Engine turns over]

Chelsea: Mom, you're never gonna believe this. Hope is on her way over there. She's coming to the motel.

Billie: What? How does she know where we are? You don't even know where we are.

Chelsea: Just trust me. She does, okay? This is your chance. If she finds out that you and dad slept together --

Billie: We didn't sleep together, Chelsea.

Chelsea: Well, even if she thinks you guys slept together, she's never gonna take him back. You can finally be with the man you love, and dad will finally be 100% committed to our family, and he'll do whatever it takes to keep me out of jail if he knows that he and Hope are completely finished. Please, Mom, you have to do this. It's the only way.

Billie: Oh, my God. What have I done?

John: Why can't you see the mind games Alex is playing with you? With me?

Marlena: Alex doesn't play games.

John: Really? Well, then, why do you think it is that he ordered you a wedding gown that is the spitting image of the one that you married me in?

Marlena: The same dress?

John: Exact same dress. Check it out yourself. Come on. Look in the mirror. Exact same dress. That's the one you wore when you walked down the aisle at our wedding. Try to remember. You walked down the aisle at our wedding. Try to remember. At our wedding. Marlena.

Marlena: I am so happy. Why are you trying to ruin this for me?

John: I see it in your eyes. You remember. You remembered wearing that dress when you married me, Marlena. Now, if you remembered that, you try to lock in on the rest of that day. We declared our love for each other in that ceremony. We took vows...that we would be true to each other forever.

Marlena: Well...I don't see what difference it makes, John, even if I were to remember. I was married to Alex first. And the vows that I made with him are the ones that I'm going to respect. Look, I-I-I trust him. Though I must say that I'm very suspicious of everything that you do or say.

Alex: Hello, John. Thought that you were in jail. The papers all said that you were being charged, so who got you out? Your lover, Kate Roberts?

Mimi: Shawn, if you don't get out of here right now, I can't marry you.

Shawn D.: Mimi, what are you talking about?

Mimi: You've seen me in my wedding dress. It's bad luck.

Bonnie: Get out, get out, get out, get out, get out, get out.

[Footsteps approaching]

Mimi: Please help me get out of this thing.

Kate: I think that's a great idea. We can do alterations.

Mimi: No, I changed my mind. I do want a new dress. Maybe we can look at your sketches again.

Bonnie: Whatever you want, baby.

Mimi: Shawn saw me in my wedding dress. It's a sign. Our marriage is doomed, especially if he finds out that he's the father of Belle's baby.

Kate: Don't ever say that again. He's not going to find out because I'm not gonna tell him, your mother's not gonna tell him, and you're not gonna tell him. So how is he gonna find out? Let's get changed.

Bonnie: Come on, baby.

Shawn D.: Belle, are you okay?

Belle: I don't know.

Bonnie: Is that Belle with Shawn? Why won't that little witch leave him alone? She's a married woman. I've got to hear what they're saying.

Belle: I know that I shouldn't get so upset, but I can't help it. I am having such a hard time thinking about Mimi wearing that dress and marrying you.

Belle: Isn't it beautiful?

Belle: Tell me what you were just thinking.

Shawn D.: Why?

Belle: Just tell me.

Shawn D.: When I saw Mimi in that dress... for a second, I wasn't seeing her. I was seeing you.

Belle: You do still love me.

Bonnie: Damn it, no.

Belle: Shawn, you still want to be with me, just admit it.

Billie: Hey. Good morning. How you feeling?

Bo: my head is split open.

Billie: I got some aspirin for you, hold on. Here you go. Ohh, how's your hand?

Bo: My hand? Ahh.

Billie: Sorry.

Bo: [Clears throat] [Muffled] Thanks.

Billie: You're welcome.

Bo: Did you sleep in a chair all night? Hey, um...thanks for dragging me out of that bar know, being there for me.

Billie: Billie to the rescue.

Bo: Yeah.

Billie: Where are you going?

Bo: I got to get home. Hope needs me.

Billie: Bo, I know that Hope is going through a really, really hard time right now, but so is someone else. Chelsea is so scared. She is so scared.

Bo: Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know that, but...I won't abandon her.

Billie: How's Hope gonna feel about that?

Bo: [Groans] Hope -- I don't think she'll ever forgive our daughter, but as difficult as this is and will always be, we are a family and we got to figure a way to stand together.

Billie: Anything I can do to help.

Bo: Well, thanks for everything you've done. You've been a good friend. I don't know that I deserve it.

Billie: Of course you do.

Bo: Well, I got to go find my wife.

Billie: Do you want a ride? I drove you here last night. I can give you a ride.

Bo: No, no, no. I could use the fresh air. I'll walk down to the cemetery, pick up my bike. Hope wouldn't be too thrilled if she saw you dropping me off.

Billie: Yeah. Speaking of Hope, I think that it's best if she doesn't know what happened last night, that we spent the night together. Nothing happened, but, you know.

Bo: Yeah.

Billie: Yeah.

Bo: She doesn't need any more stress. Thanks for everything.

Billie: [Sniffles] I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry, Bo. I did it for Chelsea. I will not let her go to jail. I just hope that someday... you'll be able to forgive me for what I've done to you and Hope.

Patrick: So, there's a direct flight tomorrow? Yeah, that's great. Have you ever been to Morgan Island? Yeah, sure, it's a little isolated, but I can't think of a better place to go...

Chelsea: [Thinking] Patrick can't leave, not unless he takes Hope with him.

Patrick: That's perfect. Thank you. Okay.

Jennifer: I hate myself for bringing you to that hotel to work things out with Bo. I am so sorry, Hope.

Hope: Jennifer, Jennifer, it's not your fault. You didn't know he'd bed with Billie.

Jennifer: I can't believe this.

Hope: Well, sadly, I can.

Jennifer: Are you kidding me?

Hope: We're talking about Billie. I know Bo was drunk out of his mind last night. That's why he got in the fight at the bar, but leave it to her to take advantage of his condition. I mean, God knows, it's not like she hasn't done it before.

Jennifer: My gosh, I wish I could help you. I am so sorry you're going through all of this right now.

Hope: I lost my little boy and now I've lost my husband, the woman who gave birth to my son's killer. Sleeping with Billie. That's it. There is absolutely no way I can ever forgive him for that. It is over between us. No, it is over! I can't ever take him back.

Shawn D.: Listen, I don't understand.

Belle: Why can't you just say it? You love me. You still love me.

Shawn D.: Did I ever say that I didn't? But what good does it do either of us to say those words? You are married to Philip. You made that choice, just like Mimi and I made ours. My parents always say, "you stick with family. Anything else wouldn't feel right." Not now.

Bonnie: [Sighs] Thank you, God, for making Shawn such an honorable guy..

Kate: What the hell are you doing?

Bonnie: Nothing, just getting a glass of water.

Kate: Look, Bonnie, I know your intentions are good, at least when it comes to your daughter, but you do have a habit of blurting out everything that comes at --

Bonnie: Shawn is never gonna find out that he's the father of Belle's baby, all right? Cross my heart and hope -- cross my heart's good enough.

Mimi: What are you two plotting now?

Bonnie: Nothing, honey. Nothing at all. I'm just so hap-hap-happy that my baby girl's marrying Shawn Brady. I need the Basic Black Corporate credit card, Katie.

Kate: Excuse me?

Bonnie: Got to get the Lockhart Locks coiffed. You know the Mother of The Bride is the second-most beautiful woman at the wedding, right next to the gorgeous bride. Hand it over, Katie-Kins.

Kate: Oh, anything, just stop with the nicknames, okay?

Bonnie: Sure, whatever. Sounds good to moi. Sweetheart, if you need me, I will be home and then I will be at Gloriane's Spa luxuriating.

Belle: [Clears throat] Hi, Mrs. Lockhart. How's Mimi?

Bonnie: Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful in that wedding dress. Look at me. I'm practically crying tears of joy. Come here, baby. Oh, Shawn, you and Mimi are gonna be so happy, just the way Belle and Philip are with their darling miracle baby, Claire. Such a cutie. [Laughs] No offense, Belle, but that little girl is the spitting image of her daddy...Philip. Just like Philip. It's amazing. Okay, well, I got to go get beautiful for my baby girl's wedding. Okay, see ya. [Thinking] Duct tape. That's what I need right over my big fat mouth.

Kate: Second thoughts are not allowed, Mimi. The stakes are too high.

Mimi: It just feels wrong, marrying Shawn based on a lie.

Kate: Shawn loves you.

Mimi: He's settling for second best.

Kate: I don't think so.

Mimi: Please don't patronize me, Kate. Everybody and their uncle knows that Shawn would marry Belle if he could, if it wouldn't mean breaking up Philip's family, which really isn't Philip's family now, is it, because he's not really Claire's father.

Kate: [Sighs] Happiness with the man you love is worth one little lie.

Belle: I love Claire so much, even more since I almost lost her. I just can't help wishing -- I wish that you were her father.

Shawn D.: Well, I'll always be her Godfather, and she'll always be part of my life. I'll always love her like she was my own.

John: So, what are you trying to pull, North? Ordering the exact same wedding dress Marlena wore when she and I were married? Let's hear your story, come on.

Alex: Well, when the designer heard that Marlena was renewing her wedding vows, she must have assumed that she was remarrying you. That's the only thing that makes sense.

Marlena: What difference does it make? Why would Alex want to remind me of my marriage to you? I'm trying to forget it myself. It's a gown. It's a lovely gown, but it's not the reason that I want to renew my vows to Alex. I love him. That's why I want to reaffirm our commitment.

Alex: Well, kudos to you, John, for buying your way out of jail, but as you can see, it hasn't done you any good. Marlena loves me, so why don't you just go? Get out of here.

John: So you can kill her?

Marlena: John, don't do this. Get out of here and stay out --

Alex: It's all right. That's all right, Marlena. I'll make sure he doesn't bother you.

John: Get your hands off me!

Marlena: Oh! Oh, my goodness. Alex, Alex, Alex. How could you do that?

[Door opens]

Bonnie: Hey, Patrick. What's going on? You leaving?

Patrick: Afraid so, Mom. I overstayed my welcome in Salem.

Bonnie: What? Honey, you're just getting started here. Okay, so you were gone for a while. You went out in the world and you sowed your wild oats, but you're back. Your future's here. Honey, you're gonna marry Billie, settle down, and give me a couple grandkids to cuddle.

Patrick: Well, Billie and I never quite made it to that point, Mom.

Bonnie: Well, you could have fooled me. I heard those bedsprings squeaking.

Patrick: Yeah, well, things are over between us, okay? So I got to go. Living here, it just wouldn't be right.

Bonnie: This is your house. Let Billie leave and take her murdering kid with her.

Patrick: No, Mom, you should let Billie and Chelsea stay here. The rent they pay, it helps you.

Bonnie: I can't believe this is happening. I really thought the Lockharts were on their way up. Mimi is marrying Shawn and you were with Billie.

Patrick: Look, I would stay if I could help Hope. She means a lot to a friend, but Bo doesn't see it that way, so I just don't want to do anything to come between those two.

Bonnie: Bo and Hope still having a tough time, huh?

Patrick: Uh, Mom, their son was killed, so, yeah, they're having a tough time. What? What are you thinking about?

Bonnie: Hope's a Horton. I've waited all my life to get in good with a family like that in this town.

Patrick: Well, Meems is marrying Hope's son, okay, so that should be enough for you.

Bonnie: Don't be a fool. If Hope is relying on you for comfort, then let her. Why should she cry on someone else's shoulder? Patrick, make your move. Hope is perfect for you. Every woman in this town is green with envy over that face of hers. And that figure -- how that woman gave birth to two kids and still looks like that is beyond me.

Patrick: Mom, come on.

Bonnie: Oh, please. You know, I swear, if it wasn't for me being such a busybody, my kids would have no life at all. Okay, you're already Hope's buddy. You're her go-to when she wants to talk or cry. Honey, you're on second base. All you got to do is turn on that Lockhart sex appeal and you'd be sliding into home plate nice and easy. Okay, think of it this way -- you'd be coming home every night to a beautiful wife...and oodles of money. What could be more perfect than that?

Chelsea: So, I saw Patrick this morning and -- you look upset. Did something go wrong? Did Hope not see you and Bo together at the motel? Oh, my God. Don't tell me you wimped out.

Billie: No. I got into bed with him. He was still passed out from drinking the night before. I unlocked the door and made sure that Hope saw us in bed together.

Chelsea: That's fantastic. I mean, Hope's always so bogged down with morals and values.

[Sighs] She's never gonna take bo back into her life, I mean, not after she saw you two in bed together. [Sighing] Oh, God, I feel so much better now. I really needed Bo to be on my side for court, Mom. I mean, thank you. Now he will be. And once he realizes that he and Hope are officially split up, then you can finally be with the man you've always loved.

Billie: My God, Chelsea, who are you? Who are you? When two people love each other, the way that Bo and Hope do, they're never apart for long. You see, Bo loves Hope. Hope, not me.

Chelsea: Yeah, Mom, he loves Hope right now, but once they split officially and he realizes that things are over with her, he's gonna want to be with you.

Billie: You don't understand anything about love, do you? That's sad. Sad. See, Bo and Hope are soul mates. They're going through a tough time right now. But they always find their way back to each other.

Chelsea: Mom, you and Bo are my parents. There's nothing wrong with me wanting you two to be together. I mean, we can finally be a family.

Billie: Chelsea, you are trying to break up your father's marriage. Do you -- do you feel guilty about that at all?

Chelsea: Of course I feel guilty, Mom. But Bo and Hope are not the only two people in the world that deserve to be happy. I do, too. And so do you. I mean, how happy are you really gonna be if you're all alone for the rest of your life and your only child is in jail? You count, too, Mom. You do. And I really need you and Bo to be there for me right now. I am terrified of going to prison. I mean, I don't know what they're gonna do to me there.

Billie: Okay, listen to me. Come here. It's gonna be okay. I'll be there for you. Don't worry. Everything's gonna be okay.

Chelsea: I don't see how it can be, Mom. Not unless you keep Bo away from Hope. She hates me, and she wants to see me suffer.

Hope: Well [Sighs] Here's to the rest...of my life without Bo.

Jennifer: I will not drink to that.

Hope: Why not? It's reality. Bo's with Billie now. You saw it with your own eyes. Our little boy just died and he's sleeping with her. I'd say that's a pretty strong choice, Jen.

Jennifer: I just can't accept that. I mean, he was drunk.

Hope: That is no excuse for what he did. I keep hearing her voice. "Bo, make love to me again." Hell, that's not just writing on the wall. That's the truth. My husband has decided to stay with his daughter's mother.

Jennifer: No, no. I can't accept that. There has got to be some explanation, Hope.

Hope: There is, definitely. He's choosing Chelsea over me. He's going to make a new family with her and her that we don't have -- we don't have Zack anymore. We have nothing.

[Sobbing] I have lost him to Billie, forever this time.

Jennifer: No, that's not true, Hope, no.

Hope: Jennifer, my heart -- my heart is breaking. Nothing's gonna ever make this better.

[Motorcycle approaches]

Jennifer: Oh, gosh. Hope.

Hope: Oh, God, it's him. It's Bo.

Jennifer: You need to see him.

Hope: No, I canít.

Jennifer: What do you want me to say to him?

Hope: Say anything. I'm just not here. Don't tell him. I'll go out the back.

Bo: Hey, Jen. Where is she? I need to see her.

Jennifer: You cannot see her. It is too late. You can't see her.

Bo: What are you ta--

Marlena: Oh, my gosh. Are you all right?

Alex: I'll be -- I'll be fine.

Marlena: You lost consciousness. I want to take you to the hospital and get you checked out.

John: For God's sake.

Marlena: Are you still here? Haven't you done enough to hurt us?

Alex: I don't think the hospital will be necessary.

Marlena: You're still recovering from the last time he hurt you. You're trying to destroy him, aren't you? First you shoot him, and then you punch him.

John: I shot him because I thought he was gonna kill you. I knocked him out because I'm sure of it. Now, what's it gonna take for you to wake up and realize this guy's a danger to you?

Marlena: Evidence, which you clearly can't get. And the only danger to me is you. I want you out of here.

John: I'm not leaving you alone with him.

Marlena: If you don't leave here, John, I mean it. I will call the police. I want you out of here. Now go. Leave me alone with the man that I love. I think he finally got the message.

Alex: [Groans]

Shawn D.: I have felt so connected to Claire, but the fact is, she is not my daughter. She's Philip's. And that's just the way it is.

Kate: Look how many people are going to suffer if the truth comes out now.

Mimi: And what if the truth comes out later, Kate? How much worse is it going to be for everybody? For Philip, for Claire, for me?

Kate: You just have to make sure that doesn't happen because that's your only chance at happiness.

Kate: Sometimes a lie can be your very best friend. In this case, it's going to give you the man of your dreams as your husband, enter into one of Salem's best-loved families, and a future filled with promise. But tell Shawn the truth and you're going to be miserable for the rest of your life. Those, Mimi, are your options.

Shawn D.: I'm marrying Mimi. You told me to move on with my life, and I have and I am.

Belle: I know, but just consider that you and I are making the biggest mistake of our life. What if we're not doing what's best for Claire?

Shawn D.: Philip is a great father.

Belle: I know he is, but he's not --

Shawn D.: He's not what?

Belle: He's not you.

Shawn D.: Philip is Claire's father. What you and I had is gone. It is a waste wishing for things you can't have. The three of us can never be a family.

Alex: Oh, come here. Come here. I just want to move ahead with our plans to renew our vows, hmm? Then I want to take you away on a nice, long, romantic honeymoon, away from this town, somewhere where John Black can't hurt either one of us again.

John: If it's the last thing I do, and it may very well be, I'm gonna...make sure that she sees the truth about Mr. Alex North.

Patrick: I am not gonna put the moves on Hope. She's a grieving mother, for God's sake.

Bonnie: So make her happy. Help her forget.

Patrick: As if she would. You don't know Hope, Mom. She's not like us. She has something --

Bonnie: Class -- she's got class, which is exactly why I want her for you. Okay, she's a little stuck-up, but you could help her in the down-to-earth department. And she's loving and loyal and a very good mother. You could give her another kid.

Patrick: You've got to stop this, but I know no matter what I say, you wonít. That's one of the reasons I'm getting the hell out of Salem.

Bonnie: Where are you going?

Patrick: I am going somewhere warm and sunny, where I can clear my head and put some distance between me and Billie Reed. [Sighs] I forgot my socks.

Bonnie: Who needs socks in "warm and sunny"? Why won't my kids ever listen to me? All I want is for them to be happily married and loaded. I am whatever it takes to make sure Patrick and Mimi get what they -- and I -- deserve in this life.

Billie: So, when did Patrick decide to leave Salem?

Chelsea: I don't know. Sometime this morning, I guess. But he said we could still live at his house.

Billie: He did?

Chelsea: Yeah, but that doesn't really make a difference, Mom, because you're gonna do a whole lot better. You're gonna be with Bo.

Billie: [Sighs] Don't be like me, Chelsea. I spent years being very unrealistic about my chances with Bo. I even had his baby. That would be you. But nothing ever made him forget about Hope for very long. I just want Bo to be mad at Hope long enough to keep you out of prison. That's all I ask. But, eventually, they will find their way back to each other, so don't get your hopes up. Want some more coffee?

Chelsea: Sure. [Sighs] I have to figure out a way to get Hope out of the picture. There was something about that call this morning. Patrick said something about Morgan Island. Now, how can I figure out a way to get Hope to wind up there, too?

Bo: She went out the back?

Jennifer: She doesn't want to see you. Let me just talk to you for --

Bo: What is the matter with you?

Jennifer: I want to just talk to you for a minute.

[Engine turns over]

Bo: What the hell is she doing? Hope!

Jennifer: Bo, she is never gonna forgive you, and I'm not even sure she should!

Bo: Hope? Hope! Hope!

[Tires squeal]

Abby: They're from Chelsea, kind of a peace offering.

Hope: Is this supposed to make up for killing my son?

Bo: How are you gonna prove to Marlena that this North character is a murderer?

John: Well, I'll get marlena away from way or another.

Alex: Lois, I hope I'm not catching you at a bad time, but we need to talk.

Belle: I saw the announcement in the paper. I'm sorry, Mom, but this wedding cannot happen.
