Jennifer: Frankie, listen, you are gonna stay here. You're gonna stay here with us until your leg heals.

Jennifer: Oh, hey.

Frankie: Hey.

Jennifer: What are you doing up so late?

Frankie: Well, I realized I didn't have any clean clothes, so...

Jennifer: Frankie, you shouldn't be doing laundry. I could have done that for you.

Frankie: Oh, no, no, no, no. What's your excuse for being up so late?

Jennifer: Sleeping is still really tough.

Frankie: Yeah.

Jennifer: So, you know, instead of lying there just remembering things, I thought I'd come down and make some cookies for the kids for tomorrow. And since you're here, you can help me. How's that sound?

Frankie: Only if I get to lick the spoon.

Jennifer: It's a deal. Hey, um, I-I just wanted to tell you...I'm really glad you decided to stay.

Marlena: Excuse me. I'm sorry. I'm looking for Alex North. They said he was in ICU.

Nurse: I'm sorry, Dr. Evans, but ICU visiting hours are over for everyone but family.

Marlena: No, but, I -- I'm -- I'm his -- I'm his --

Belle: Mom. You came after all.

Marlena: Belle. Oh, Belle.

[Monitor beeping]

Lois: Is that what you think now?! What about now?! You're gonna get yours now! Stupid bitch! Stupid! You come here! You think that you could take my man?! You can't have him!

[Monitor beeping rapidly]

Officer: That S.U.V. Max Brady's tow truck picked up is probably the vehicle that hit Bo Brady's kid.

[Rock music plays]

Chelsea: What the hell was that? Oh, my God!

Chelsea: I just wish I knew what I hit.

Max: It was like you said. It probably was just a big, old pothole or something.

Chelsea: But what if it wasn't? What if it was a dog or a cat or something?

Max: In this thing? I'm sorry to say, but if you did, it wouldn't have survived.

Shawn D.: I cannot believe this. First, Claire's dying. Now Zach's in there fighting for his life.

Mimi: I know, but you just have to have faith that everything will work out. You have to put your trust in God right now.

Shawn D.: Faith? I remember I was mad at God for when we lost J.T. Now I remember why I felt that way. God is not trying to help my family. He's trying to destroy us -- one by one.

Hope: [Sighs]

Bo: Hey. Hey. Let's go sit down.

Hope: No, I cant. How could I sit down? Our baby's been hit by a car. He could be dying. There's nothing we can do but wait.

Bo: Lexie's with him. She loves him like her own. She's taking very good care of him.

Hope: How could this be happening? He's just a little boy. What monster could hit him and just drive away?

Bo: Don't you worry. We'll find them.

Hope: If I hadn't gone to Mrs. Morrison's -- if I hadn't seen the slipper -- he'd still be lying there, Bo, all by himself -- alone.

[Monitor beeping]

Lexie: Okay, sweetheart, you hang in there. You're gonna get through this, okay, but you have to do your part, all right?

Nurse: Wipe.

Lexie: [Sniffles] [Exhales deeply]

Nurse: Are you sure you're gonna be okay, lexie?

Lexie: [Sniffles] Yeah. I'm -- I'm fine. [Sniffles] Isaac, sweetheart, can you hear me? It is not your time to go. You have your whole lifetime ahead of you, and mommy is -- aunt Lexie is going to make sure that you are here to live it.

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of Our Lives.

Chelsea: I mean it, Max. What if I killed a dog or a cat or something?

Max: Hey, those things happen, Chelsea. That's why people shouldn't let their pets run around outside without a leash on.

Chelsea: Oh, yeah. Sure. Blame the poor dead animal.

[Cellphone ringing]

Max: Hello? Mom, what's wrong? Oh, God, no. Yeah, Chelsea's here with me.. Oh, don't worry. We'll be there in a second.

Chelsea: Was that grandma Caroline? What's wrong?

Max: Apparently Zach's been in a car accident.

Chelsea: Oh, my God. Is that why Hope kept calling my dad?

Max: I guess so. He's down at the University Hospital.

Chelsea: Whatever happened, he's gonna be okay, right?

Max: I don't know.

Chelsea: We got to get going.

Max: My car's out back.

Chelsea: I love that little guy.

Officer: No people, but there's an S.U.V. in there, all right.

Shawn D.: I don't want to go outside!

Mimi: You need some air.

Shawn D.: The only thing I need is Zach to be okay and God to leave us alone!

Mimi: You don't mean that. You're just upset. Why don't we go to the chapel?

Shawn D.: And what? And pray and everything is gonna be okay? I don't buy it anymore!

Mimi: Shawn!

Bo: I'm gonna call the station, see if they have any leads on who was driving the car that did this to our son. [Smooches] I shouldn't be long. Hope?

Hope: [Crying] Just a few hours ago, I was hugging him. I was telling him how much I loved him.

Bo: I know. I know.

Hope: But this morning, I got angry at him. I got angry because he left a few stupid toys in the kitchen. Do you think that's what he's remembering?

Bo: Hey, hey, hey. Don't do this to yourself.

Hope: We promised we'd see him in the morning. We promised him when we left him off at Mrs. Morrison's, Bo.

Bo: That's a promise you're gonna keep. We both will.

Zach: There he is!

Bo: There he is. Hey, and no line. Perfect.

Hope: Go ahead, honey. Go sit on Santa's lap and tell him what you'd like.

Bo: Don't pull on his beard, okay? Go, go, go!

Santa: [Chuckling] And what's your name, young man?

Zach: Zach!

Santa: Ah. And have you been a good boy this year, Zach?

Zach: Really good!

Santa: And what do you want Santa to bring you for Christmas?

Zach: [Whispering indistinctly]

Hope: Merry Christmas.

Bo: Merry Christmas.

Hope: We have a surprise for you. One of Santa's helpers is here with a very, very big bag of presents.

Zach: Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas.

Hope: [Crying]

Doug: Hope!

Hope: Daddy! Oh, daddy! [Crying]

Julie: [Sniffles] How's he doing?

Bo: He's still in surgery.

Julie: Did they find who was driving the car?

Bo: No. Not yet. But we'll find that bastard. Believe me.

Doug: Honey, honey, you know Lexie loves Zach like he was her own. She's not gonna give up on him.

Hope: Daddy, it's so bad. What if he doesn't make it?

Doug: But he will. Come on. He's a feisty kid with spirit. He's like his mom. He's like his dad. Zach's not going anyplace.

Hope: Oh, God, I want to believe that.

Frankie: As I recall, you made it very clear I didn't have much of a choice.

Jennifer: Oh, no. Wait a minute. Sure, you did. You didn't have to stay here and let me take care of you. You could have gone home and helplessly fended for yourself.

Frankie: Like I said, I didn't have much choice. I promise, as soon as my leg is healed, I'll go back to D.C.

Jennifer: Hey! Stop!

Frankie: What? You promised. [Chuckles]

Jennifer: Hey, um, I would like to be honest with you.

Frankie: Please do.

Jennifer: I, uh, I don't want you to go back.

Frankie: After Jack died [Clears throat] You made it very clear that you didn't feel comfortable having me here with you.

Jennifer: No, the problem is that I feel very comfortable having you here because you have been wonderful to me and my children. I don't want to become dependent on you, though.

Frankie: [Chuckles] You dependent on me?

Jennifer: Yeah. Why is that funny?

Frankie: Jen, it's me who is dependent on you.

Jennifer: Okay.

Frankie: [Laughs]

Jennifer: Okay, you're right. So I guess I have nothing to worry about -- for right now, anyway.

Frankie: If you want me to stay, I will. It's your call.

Jennifer: Um, I want you to stay.

Belle: I am so glad that you're here. I mean, I understood when dad said that you couldn't come, but --

Marlena: No, I -- go ahead. Just let it out.

Belle: [Sniffles] And I miss you so much.

Marlena: Honey, honey, honey.

Belle: I've needed you so much.

[Monitor beeping rapidly]

Lois: It's not healthy for you to get so excited, Alex. Did you really think you could protect your beloved Marlena from me?

Marlena: [Groaning] [Gasps]

Alex: Oh, my God. Marlena! Come on. Come here. Come here.

Marlena: [Crying]

Alex: Who did this? Who did this?

Marlena: [Crying] I made her hurt me. She hurt me. No! No! Don't!

Alex: I'm not going anywhere. I'm getting some help. It's okay. It's okay. Shh. Shh.

Marlena: [Gasps] Alex! Alex!

[Monitor beeping rapidly]

Lois: Well, it's been a long time coming, Alex, but I've finally won.

Nurse: It's Dr. North. I'll get it.

Lois: Don't tell anybody I'm here.

Nurse: I don't know if you can hear me, but you've got to calm down, Dr. North. Otherwise you'll just make yourself worse.

[Beeping] This should help you get some rest.

[Door opens, closes]

Lois: Whatever that charming nurse gave you may help you rest, but I've got something even better -- something that'll make sure you never wake up.

Officer 1: The door's open. We should go in and make sure everything's okay. Hmm. Let's see who you belong to.

Officer 2: The parking light's knocked out. It explains the plastic we found in the road. The black paint matches the residue on the curb. These treads look like they match the imprints from the scene, too. Hey, yo, Danny, did you hear me? This is definitely the vehicle that hit Zach Brady.

Officer 1: And it's registered to Detective Bo Brady.

Julie: Shawn. Oh! Oh, sweetheart! How are you?

Shawn D.: Where -- where's my dad? Do you know where he went?

Julie: He's calling the station.

Shawn D.: Okay.

Julie: How's he doing?

Mimi: Not well. I mean, first Claire and now Zach. I suggested that we go to the chapel and pray, but he's so mad at God. I don't know how to get through to him.

Julie: Sometimes, darling, when people we care about are really hurting, as much as you want to help, they just have to work through things themselves. Just make sure he knows you'll be there when he's ready to talk.

Mimi: I know. It's just so hard to -- to watch the man I love -- the man that I'm gonna marry -- suffer like this.

Julie: You and Shawn are getting married?

Bo: Listen to me! Find Commander Brady. Have him call me here at University Hospital Trauma Center -- now!

Shawn D.: Any leads?

Bo: No. No. Not yet.

Shawn D.: What kind of bastard hits a little kid and just keeps driving, dad?

Chelsea: Dad!

Bo: Hey. Hey. Hey.

Doug: You tell me -- Zach was lucid when you found him, right?

Hope: Yeah.

Doug: Okay, and when you got him here to the hospital?

Hope: He stopped talking to me, daddy. And no one seems to be able to tell us how badly he's injured.

Doug: Well, Lexie and her team are working on him right now. We'll have answers soon.

Hope: What if -- what if he doesn't make it?

Doug: Honey! "What ifs" never helped anybody ever. No. We'll get the facts. Then we can deal with them -- whatever they are. Right now you and I got to try and stay positive.

Alice: Doug's right, dear.

Hope: Gran.

Alice: Aw.

Hope: Oh, Gran.

Alice: You must have hope.

[Monitor beeping]

Lexie: [Sighs] The I.C.P. is increasing. He's going to herniate if we don't relieve the pressure of it.

Nurse: I think we're too late for that, Lexie.

Lexie: No.

Nurse: The C.T. scan showed so much trauma to the brain.

Lexie: No.

Nurse: There may not be anything we can do for him.

Lexie: Failure is not an option with this patient. He is going to live! Do you understand?!

Frankie: [Groans]

Jennifer: Ohh.

Frankie: Oh, the smell. Oh, boy, that takes me back to when mom used to bake cookies when I was a kid.

Jennifer: Yeah. Um, Frankie...

Frankie: Yeah?

Jennifer: I just wanted to, um, talk to you for a second. You know, there's -- there's a reason why I don't want to rely on you. I just -- I don't want to dep-- [Sighs] I don't want to be dependent on you or any man because, in my heart, it feels like I'm cheating on Jack.

Frankie: Hmm. On his memory?

Jennifer: No. On him. I mean, even after his memorial service, I still believed that he was gonna come back to me, Frankie.

Frankie: Hmm. Yeah, when you thought you saw him in the garden?

Jennifer: Yeah. I mean, he was so real. And I know -- I know that he wasn't, and maybe -- maybe it was my imagination giving me a chance to say goodbye or his ghost. I don't know. But the one thing that he did tell me was that it was okay to move on, and he wanted me to move on with you. And I just -- I'm gonna leave you with that. But I just know that -- I guess I don't need to be afraid, right?

Frankie: Listen to me. [Clears throat] No one... will ever replace Jack. And I know you will never love anyone else the way you loved him. But it doesn't matter -- it's immaterial -- because you have to know something. Listen to me. I'm telling you, I am here because I'm your friend -- nothing more. Okay?

Jennifer: Okay.

Frankie: Cookie time.

Jennifer: [Sighs] Thank you so much.

Frankie: Whoa. Whoa. Okay.

Jennifer: Sorry.

Frankie: No. No, Jen.

Jennifer: I was just gonna hug you.

Frankie: I know, and I appreciate it, but -- okay. The truth is, I haven't -- I haven't quite figured out how to shower with this thing yet, so --

Jennifer: [Laughs]

Frankie: Yeah.

Jennifer: I was hoping it wasn't my cookies that had gamy smell.

Frankie: No. No. "Gamy" really isn't exactly the word I would use to describe how I smell.

Jennifer: Let me help you. Can I help you, uh, shower?

Frankie: Uh... I don't think -- yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

[Monitor beeping]

Belle: [Sniffles] Lexie said that the only thing keeping her alive is the machines. I hate not being able to hold her.

Marlena: [Exhales deeply] I can't even imagine what you're going through. [ Inhales deeply] I'm so sorry I wasn't here for you.

Belle: It's okay. I understand. You need to get better.

Marlena: Oh, there's just no excuse. I am your mother.

Belle: And you're here now.

Marlena: Yes. I'm here now.

Belle: I just -- I can't stand the pain of watching her suffer.

Marlena: Oh, Belle. Belle, you know --

Belle: [Sniffles]

Marlena: You know that amnesia may keep me from remembering, but it does not keep me from feeling. I might not remember raising you... but I know that you are my daughter... and I know how much I love you. I just hate to see you going through this. No mother can ever bear to see her child in pain. Oh!

[Monitor beeping]

Lois: Get ready for your final "good night," Alex. I'm gonna take care of you once and for all.

Lois: I'm gonna take care of both of you once and for all.

Alex: Lois, just calm down. We can talk this out. It's over.

Lois: It isn't over until I hurt you as much as you hurt me.

Alex: You don't want to hurt me. You don't want to hurt anyone.

Lois: You can't hurt me now, Alex. But I, on the other hand...

Alex: Lois --

Lois: I'm gonna get rid of you first, and then I'll get rid of your precious Marlena.

Marlena: No, don't do this. Don't do it.

Lois: What are you doing?! Stop it! [Screaming]

Alex: Shh. Shh.

Marlena: [Crying]

Alex: It's over. It's over. You're safe now.

Marlena: Thank you.

Alex: It's over. Shh. Shh. Shh. Shh.

[Monitor beeping]

Lois: It's dj vu all over again, isn't it, Alex? But this time no one will stop me. First I'll take care of you. Then I'll get rid of your precious Marlena.

Officer 1: It must be a mistake.

Officer 2: I ran the plates and the VIN.

Officer 1: Then it must have been stolen. No way could Detective Brady have run down his own son.

Officer 2: Unless he didn't even realize it. Sitting up that high, he might not have even seen him. And hitting a kid in one of these S.U.V.s wouldn't have felt like anything more than a bump in the road.

Julie: No one told me that you and Shawn were engaged.

Mimi: Actually, I wasn't supposed to say anything. He just asked me tonight, and he wanted us to keep it a secret until we knew what was happening with Claire, and that was before we even heard about Zach.

Julie: Well, maybe this is just what the family needs now. A wedding -- something positive and hopeful to concentrate on. I just always assumed that --

Mimi: That he would wind up with Belle?

Julie: I'm sorry. Yes.

Mimi: It's okay. I love him, Mrs. Williams, so much, and he loves me. We've both been through some hard times, but Shawn is the best thing that has ever happened to me, and that's why I can't stand seeing him hurting like this.

Julie: I think that's how you learn you love someone -- when their pain hurts more than your own.

Mimi: I just wish there was a way I could help him.

Julie: Keep on loving him, darling. It's the best help there is.

Chelsea: [Sniffles] From the moment he met me, all Zach did was accept me as his big sister. No questions, no judgment, no problems. He was just happy. [ Sniffles]

Shawn D.: That's Zach, all right.

Bo: Yeah, that's our Tiny Man.

Chelsea: [Sniffles] The best Christmas present I ever got was when he told me he loved me.

[Sniffles] You know, I remember growing up, everyone always used to tell me how lucky I was that I was an only child -- that I didn't have any annoying brothers or sisters to deal with.

[Sniffles] Then I always used to think that they were right, but they werent. I would do anything to save Zach -- anything.

Bo: I know. I'm sure he knows that, too. But right now, there's nothing anyone can do.

Chelsea: Zach didn't deserve this. First my parents get killed by a drunk driver, and now this happens to Zach. It's not fair.

Bo: Chelsea.

Max: I'll go.

Hope: [Sighs] I feel so guilty. None of this would have happened if --

Alice: If what?

Hope: If I hadn't arranged that sleep over, if I had kept Zach with me, if I had gotten there sooner.

Doug: Honey, it's not your fault.

Hope: Yes, it is. It's my fault, daddy. I'm his mother. I should have made sure he understood never to go out onto the street alone, especially at night.

Doug: No. No, no. Blaming yourself or the driver of the car or anybody else right now is not gonna help Zach. What he needs is our love. What he needs is our prayers. We need to focus our positive energy on him right now and then put our trust in God.

Shawn D.: Why? That won't do any good.

Hope: Shawn!

Shawn D.: God doesn't care about this family.

Hope: That is not true.

[Monitor beeping]

Lexie: There's so much blood.

Nurse: Lexie...

Lexie: Yeah, I know. I know it's a long shot we have to try.

Nurse: It's neuroradiology. Dr. Murphy reviewed the MRI.

Lexie: And?

Nurse: It shows severe brain-stem compression and transtentorial herniation.

Lexie: [Sighs] Okay. [Sniffles] Let's put a drain in.

Nurse: His pupils were fixed and dilated. His GCs was 3. He's gonna be brain-dead, Lexie.

Lexie: No.

Nurse: Look, we've done everything humanly possible, but this is irreversible. It's over.

Lexie: No, it's not. It can't be. It can't be.

Nurse: We need to stop now.

Lexie: We are not giving up!

Nurse: Go ahead and close.

Lexie: No! No.

Nurse: Lexie --

Lexie: No. No. There's still things we can try.

Nurse: We've tried them all.

Lexie: No. [Sniffles] [Crying] He was awake. He was awake when Hope brought him in. This can't be happening.

Nurse: He had a massive head trauma. There's nothing more we can do now. You saw the scan. He never really had a chance. You have to let him go.

Lexie: [Breathing heavily] No. No. No, no.

Nurse: Lexie --

Lexie: I have to save him! No!

Nurse: You are a doctor! You are not God.

Lexie: [Crying]

Frankie: Okay.

Jennifer: You ready?

Frankie: Yeah. I think so.

Jennifer: All right. Here we go.

Frankie: You know what? I was -- I was thinking. I'll just give myself a sponge bath, you know?

Jennifer: Oh, yeah, because that's been working real well for you.

Frankie: I'll put on extra cologne.

Jennifer: Frankie! This is no big deal. I helped Jack when he broke his leg. Look, the cast is waterproof, and that bag keeps the water from going down in it. It's fine. You're gonna be fine. I won't peek. I'll keep my head turned.

Frankie: Okay. All right. Walk me through it.

Jennifer: We'll just get you in there, and I'll balance you, and you just wash yourself. It's easy.

Frankie: Okay. Aren't you gonna get soaked?

Jennifer: No, because you're gonna be between me and the water.

Frankie: Right.

Jennifer: Trust me. It's the only way this can work. Here we go.

Frankie: All right.

Jennifer: All right.

Frankie: Uh-huh.

Jennifer: It's good.

Frankie: Good?

Jennifer: All right. Go ahead.

Frankie: All right. Okay. It's the first step --

Jennifer: Okay.

Frankie: Got it. I'm in there now.

Jennifer: All right.

Frankie: Okay. Oh, yeah.

Jennifer: You hold onto there.

Frankie: I got it. I got it. Where are you? I'm gonna fall.

Jennifer: All right. Hold on.

Frankie: Ooh.

Jennifer: Okay.

Frankie: Oh, that's nice.

Jennifer: You got it?

Frankie: Yeah. Oh, yeah.

Jennifer: All right.

Frankie: Ooh.

Jennifer: Tell me if you need help.

Frankie: I'm all good. I feel slightly ridiculous.

Jennifer: It feels good, huh?

Frankie: Yeah, yeah.

Jennifer: A nice bath after a while.

Frankie: Could you ask for bigger soap?

Jennifer: Oh! Frankie! Aah! Are you okay?

Frankie: Yeah. Yeah. I got it. You got it? Are you okay?

Jennifer: Just flip your leg around.

Frankie: Okay. Uhh! Okay. Okay. Okay.

Jennifer: Are you okay? Okay. I'm okay.

Frankie: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Me too.

[Monitor beeping]

Marlena: I love you, Belle. And no matter what I'm going through, I am always your mother.

Lois: God certainly works in mysterious ways, Alex. You know, I think I'll use this on Marlena while I have the chance. And I'll come back and deal with you later. I mean, it's not like you're going anywhere.

Marlena: I may not remember raising you, but I know you. I've seen how strong you are. And no matter what happens, we will get through it -- together.

Belle: I love you so much, mom.

Marlena: I love you, too, Belle.

Jennifer: [Exhales sharply] [Sighs] That was close.

Frankie: Yeah. Yeah, it was. I'm sorry you got wet.

Jennifer: No, it's okay. I'm fine. I'm fine.

Frankie: Well, you know what? I'm gonna, uh, I'm gonna finish rinsing off. Why don't you go get dry?

Jennifer: Are you sure?

Frankie: Oh, yeah. Yeah, I'll lean on the wall or something.

Jennifer: Just be careful. Please.

Frankie: I promise.

[Door opens, closes]

[Water stops]

Jennifer: [Inhales, exhales sharply] [Sighs] My gosh. What is wrong with you? What is wrong with you? Your -- [Exhales sharply] Your husband is barely dead. And -- and you convince yourself that -- that his ghost told you to move on with someone else? And you were in that shower with him, and you wanted him, and you wanted him to kiss you.

[Monitor beeping]

Belle: Hey. Your grandma was just here. As horrible a time as she's having, she still made time to come and see you. You know why? Because she knows how special you are. Yes, she does. And she reminded me of my own strength. She gave me new hope. Because that's what mothers do, Claire -- they give their children hope -- and that's what I'm giving you. You're gonna get better. You hear me? Somehow we're gonna get our miracle -- I know it -- because I love you too much for it not to.

Lexie: [Sniffles]

[Cries softly]

[Exhales deeply]

[Exhales deeply]

[Water running]

[Exhales deeply]

Nurse: Hey.

Lexie: Hey.

Nurse: If you'd like me to tell the family, I...

Lexie: No. Uh, thanks, Jeff, but they're my friends. I should tell them.

Nurse: You're right.

Lexie: [Sniffles]

[Exhales deeply]

[Sniffling] Abe, it's me. I'm at the hospital.

[Voice breaking] I need you.

Officer 1: How are we gonna tell Detective Brady that it was his own S.U..V. that hit his son?

Shawn D.: Please, mom, explain it to me. Explain it to me how God gives a damn about our family.

Alice: Shawn Douglas, please!

Shawn D.: Gran, I am sorry, but it is true.

Doug: Shawn!

Shawn D.: Look at you all. You were all pillars of the community. Why is he constantly testing us?

Hope: Honey, I don't know. I don't know why God does what he does. No one does. No one can. We can spend the rest of our lives trying to figure it out, and we'll still never know. But what I do know... is when things are at their darkest, we always have our family, and that's a gift from God.

Shawn D.: But it's not fair.

Hope: No, it's not fair.

Shawn D.: [Sniffles]

Hope: Maybe you're right. Maybe -- maybe God is testing us. But there's nothing we can do about that...other than continue to live our lives the best we can, and right now that means doing what your grandfather and your grandmother said -- focusing all of our energy and prayers toward Zach. I've seen firsthand the kind of power that has, Shawn.

Alice: Amen.

Hope: And it's Zach's best chance for making it through this. [Sniffles]

Bo: Hey.

Hope: No. No.

Lexie: [Crying]

Hope: No. No. No! No! No! No-o-o-o-o! No! No-o-o-o-o!!

Jack: You promised, and I know you can do it. Jennifer loved you once, and I know, in time, she can again.

Mimi: We'll catch this person and put them in jail.

Shawn D.: No! I am gonna get my hands on them, and, I swear, they are dead.

John: Hey, Dr. Banks... what are you doing?

Hope: They are not turning off these machines. You are not taking my son from me.
