Austin: All right, Sami, let's hurry it up. We got to get to the airport..

Sami: Austin, wait. Stop. You, um, you buttoned your shirt wrong. Let me fix it. What -- what's wrong with you?

Austin: I guess I just have a lot of my mind.

Sami: Oh, yeah. Taking over Highstyle, huh?

Austin: No. No. Actually, I was thinking of Carrie.

Carrie: I need to ask you a favor.

Lucas: Sure. Anything.

Carrie: Would you mind if I hitched a ride back with you to Salem on the Titan jet?

Lucas: To Salem? With me?

Carrie: Yeah.

Lucas: What, are you kidding? It's a dream come true for me. Please. Do that. Come with me. Stay with me. Do whatever you want. I'll show you a Christmas you'll never forget -- I promise.

Carrie: Oh, uh, Lucas, I-I don't want you getting the wrong idea. I-I want to go back to Salem because I want to be with Austin.

Lucas: With Austin?

Carrie: I'm sorry.

Lucas: No. No, no. That's great. That's great. I just -- I just think you're making a real big mistake.

Bo: Hope -- Hope, hold on. Hold on. Wait. Wait. There's something I got to do before we go in.

Hope: What's that?

Bo: Mmm.

Hope: [Chuckles]

Bo: Merry Christmas and Happy Anniversary.

Hope: [Exhales deeply] Happy Anniversary, Brady. Mmm. Same to you.

Bo: Are you bored, Zach? Hey, I got a little surprise for you later. Shh.. Don't tell her. Don't tell her what it is.

Abby: Mom, Frankie's stuff is all gone. He moved out.

Jennifer: Uh, yes. I know.

Abby: You knew, and you didn't tell me?

Jennifer: Sweetie, it all happened so quickly. I didn't even get a chance to think about telling you.

Abby: Why would he leave? He told me that he was going to be there for us -- that daddy wanted him to.

Jennifer: I know. I asked him to leave.

Abby: You what?

Jennifer: Honey, it's for the best, okay? We need time alone together as a family. Frankie has a job and a life. He cannot stay here with us forever. He canít.

Abby: I don't believe this. First we lose dad and now Frankie? Mom, what are you thinking? Frankie was our friend. He cared about us. How could you just throw him out like that on Christmas?

Kate: Well?

John: They're gone. I searched the whole place.

Kate: So, where do you think they are?

John: I don't know. I'm sure as hell gonna find out. And when I do, I'm gonna kill the son of a bitch.

Kate: John, take it easy.

John: Come on, Kate. You heard Dr. Banks. The man's sicker than we thought. He abused her when they were married. He made her life a living hell. If I don't get her away from him right now --

[Pounds table]

Mimi: What is up with this outfit, mother? What are you doing now?

Bonnie: Working the hospital Christmas party. It's good P.R. for Alice's..

Mimi: Well, it's also nice for all the poor, little sick kids who have to spend the holiday in the pediatric unit.

Bonnie: Yes, that, too. Listen, speaking of sick kids, I hope you got that silly idea out of your head about Shawn being the father of Belle's baby. You know it's impossible.. Mr. and Miss purity never even did the deed. It's obviously just a coincidence that Shawn's blood type matches Claire's and Philip's doesnít.

Mimi: Shawn.

Bonnie: Okay.

Mimi: Hey. What's going on? Have you heard anything?

Shawn D.: I think Belle and Philip are getting more bad news.

Mimi: [Sighs]

Lexie: I am sorry to have to tell you this, but Claire's liver failure has become acute. At this point, the only way she can survive is with a transplant. We'll have to find a compatible donor, which won't be easy.

Belle: So you're telling me that without a donor... our baby could die.

Lexie: I'm so sorry.

Philip: Lexie, just tell us. How long does she have?

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of Our Lives.

Philip: Lexie... will you please just tell us -- how long does our little girl have?

Lexie: I wish I could tell you that, but it's impossible to know. At this point, what we do know is that... she won't survive without a transplant.

Belle: And what are her chances of finding a donor?

Lexie: Right now -- I'll be honest with you -- there's nothing available, but that can change in a matter of minutes.

Belle: When somebody dies.

Philip: [Exhales deeply]

Lexie: She's been given high priority, and, uh, I'll check with Unos again, and I'll let you know as soon as I have any news, all right? Okay, just -- just keep praying.

Belle: Okay. Claire -- [Sniffles] Sweetheart, you have to hang on, okay? You have to stay strong. You can't leave us. Your mommy and daddy -- we love you. We love you so much. We can't lose you.

John: I've got to get her away from him.

Kate: I'm sure they're gonna be back. They probably just went out.

John: Come on. North's clothes are gone. Her clothes are gone. He has abducted her. I know he has.

Kate: You know how she feels about him. It's a possibility that she went with him willingly.

John: She wouldn't do it -- not this time. It's Christmas. And especially not when her granddaughter's in the hospital fighting for her life.

Kate: Okay. You have a point.

John: I'm telling you -- he has taken her. And if he is half the monster that I think he is...

Kate: John, what are you gonna do?

John: I'm gonna call in every police and ISA. contact I know. I'm getting that freak out of her life once and for all.

Bo: Right through there.

Hope: Hold on a second. Wait a second. I can't see. Wait a second. Look at mommy, honey. There. Perfect. Now you're ready to play Santa and put all the presents for Jennifer, Abby, and Jack Jr. under the tree. Won't that be fun, huh?

Bo: I hope Jen's up for this tonight.

Hope: [Exhales deeply] Yeah, I know. Christmas without Jack's gonna be so hard.

Jennifer: Abby, I am capable of leading my life and taking care of my family without having a man around to take care of me.

Abby: I'm sorry. I just thought you and Frankie were such good friends. And, you know, I really think you do want him here. You're just too stubborn to admit it.

[Door closes]

Hope: Hey. Merry Christmas.

Bo: Merry Christmas.

Jennifer: Hey.

Hope: We have a surprise for you. One of Santa's helpers is here with a very, very big bag of presents.

Zach: Ho ho ho. Merry Christmas.

Jennifer: Oh, my goodness! Zach -- look at you. Come here. I cannot believe this outfit. It is so adorable. You look great.

Abby: Zach, you are the best Santa I've ever seen.

Jennifer: Come help me put all those presents under the tree. Wow. Thanks for bringing all those.

Abby: So, how's Chelsea doing? Is she okay after the accident?

Bo: Yeah. Things aren't as bad as they seem. She did total the car, and she lost her driver's license, but she wasn't hurt that seriously.

Hope: Thank God. She's out with Max now, but he's bringing her to the party later, speaking of which, we should probably get over there soon. We don't want to miss Gran's tree-trimming party, do we?

Bo: I don't think they'll start without us.

Abby: I'm gonna get J.J.

Jennifer: Wait. I forgot to tell you -- we're not going to the Horton Christmas party this year.

Sami: You know what? Austin, you have to stop thinking about Carrie. Look, she is living in Israel -- a million miles away -- with Mike. You have to let it go.

Austin: I know. I know. I know. I-I feel like I'm going insane, you know? But I swore I saw Carrie up on the jumbotron at the Stones concert. It was just for a moment. I was so sure.

Sami: It was your imagination, okay? It couldn't have been her. You are just thinking about her too much. You have to think about something else. Think about something good -- like Christmas.

Austin: [Chuckling]

Sami: I, um, I got you something.

Austin: Oh, Ė- you didn't have to do that.

Sami: I know I didn't have to. Well, open it.

Austin: Oh, yeah.

Sami: Um, I just wanted to do something nice and thank you for...

Austin: It's awesome. I forgot we took this.

Sami: Well, I didn't, and I wanted to remind you of all the fun times we had last night, and hopefully there'll be many more fun times.

Lucas: I just don't want you to be disappointed by Austin again. You know Sami's intent on getting him back. You know what kind of trouble that causes. I didn't think you'd want to put yourself through that kind of situation again.

Carrie: I donít.

Lucas: And you don't want to deal with everyone asking you questions back at home, do you -- asking you want happened between you and Mike?

Carrie: No, but I know that I'll have to deal with it sooner or later. I can't hide the fact forever that things didn't work out the way I hoped they would. And as hard as it's gonna be, I know that I have to face my family and friends and tell them the truth. But, most importantly, I need to see if... well, maybe somehow there's a chance for us. I know it's a long shot.

Lucas: Yeah. No, I-I guess it's worth a try.

Carrie: So, will you still take me back to Salem?

Lucas: Come on. Of course I will. You know I'll always be there for you. You know how I feel. There's no questions asked.

Carrie: The same goes for you. Your friendship means everything, and it always will.

Hope: Abby, honey, why don't you go get ready, and I'm gonna talk to your mom?

Abby: Okay.

Hope: Okay.

Bo: Hey, Santa Claus, how's it going?

Jennifer: You are not gonna talk me out of going to Gran's, Hope.

Hope: Don't you think it would do Abby and Jack Jr. an awful lot of good to go tonight, especially Abby? Honey, she needs to know that at least some of the things she's always counted on will still be the same, like family being together at Christmas.

Jennifer: Yeah, I know that. I know that she does. But what happens when I get there and I fall apart? I need to be strong for her. What happens when I hang my husband's ornament on the tree and I completely lose it? How do I get through that?

Hope: You wonít. You will get through it because Jack will be there to help you, just like he promised watching over you. He's gonna give you strength, Jen.

Jennifer: Really? Well, I hope so 'cause I am gonna need it.

Hope: Will you go? Please?

Jennifer: You know, I already said that I would volunteer at St. Luke's, so I will go to Gran's party after I drop off all the decorations at St. Luke's.

Hope: I'll tell you what -- I'll do it. In fact -- you know what? -- I insist upon doing it. I'm not gonna give you a chance to change your mind.

Jennifer: [Sighs] You know me too well.

Hope: For many, many years.

Jennifer: All right. I'll go. Abby will be very pleased that we're going..

Abby: We are?

Jennifer: Yes, we are. Hope talked some sense into me, so we're gonna go.. I mean, really, we can't miss Gran's tree-trimming party.

Hope: No.

Jennifer: Come on. Come on come on, sweetie.

Bo: Hey, we're ready.

Hope: Let me help you. Oh, my purse.

Kate: You really think you're going to be able to find them?

John: Not only will I find them, I'm gonna do it tonight, thanks to the ISA., this satellite hookup, and a very sophisticated GPS.

[Doorbell rings]

Kate: I'll get it. It's probably Roman. Hey.

Roman: Hey, Kate. Uh, John, I came as soon as I could. Are you sure Marlena's in danger?

John: Well, Roman, I dug up some more dirt on Dr. North. He's a very violent man. I'll fill you in on the details later, after you tell me you got Salem's finest on the case?

Roman: Well, as soon as I got word, I put out an APB. We're searching every airport, bus station, train station, and landing field within a hundred-mile radius. As soon as somebody finds something, I'll hear about it.

John: I got the ISA. on it, too. I'm trying to track their car. Not having any luck yet.

Kate: Look, I really wish there was something I could do. I know there isnít. I'm going to get back to the hospital so I can check on the baby.

John: Oh, absolutely. Keep me posted. Don't say anything to Belle about her mother. She's got enough to worry about.

Kate: Don't worry. I wonít. I'll call you if I hear anything.

John: Okay.

Roman: Kate... I'll be sending good thoughts for the baby. I really hope she pulls through.

Kate: Thank you, Roman.

[Keypad clacking]

Kate: [Thinking] Claire has to pull through. Philip can't lose this child. No matter what happens, he can never find out that Shawn is her father.

Philip: Thank you. I'll be right here. Thank you.

Mimi: Oh, I don't believe this. What if they can't find her a donor?

Shawn D.: Hey, how's Belle dealing with all this?

Philip: I think she just needed some time alone. She went to St. Luke's to pray for the baby.

Shawn D.: You know what? I know this sounds crazy, but I have an idea. I have a friend -- he's a web designer. Maybe I can have him put together a web page just to get some awareness out there about how desperate Claire is for help.

Philip: Anything will help. If you need some sort of corporate sponsorship, I'm sure my dad or Belle's dad can help.

Shawn D.: I have no idea what it entails. I'll get on the phone with him now. There's no time to waste, right?

Philip: Thanks, man.

Shawn D.: Hey, you don't have to thank me. I would do anything to make sure your daughter's okay.

Philip: I know. And with so many people pulling for her, I'm just hoping there's some kind of chance.

Shawn D.: Yeah.

Mimi: Shawn...

Shawn D.: Yeah?

Mimi: Let me know if there's anything I can do, okay?

Shawn D.: I will. I'll be right back.

Mimi: Philip, you too, okay? Do not hesitate to ask if you need anything..

Philip: It's great just having you two here -- the best Godparents we could ever hope for. There's Lexie. Hold on. Lexie... are there any matches? Is there anyone who could help Claire?

Belle: Why are you doing this? Why are you doing this to my baby? If you want to punish me, I'm here! But don't punish her! She's just a little girl. [ Sniffles] She's never hurt anyone. Please. I'm begging you. [Inhales sharply] Let her live, and I will never ask for anything again, I swear. Please. [Crying ]

Hope: Belle, are you all right? Did something happen?

Belle: [Sniffles] Claire needs a liver transplant.

Hope: A transplant?

Belle: She needs a donor as soon as possible, and there isn't one. She could die while she's waiting. You have to help me pray for her. Christmas is a time for miracles, and -- and we really need God to help us right now. But in order for him to help us, somebody else has to go through a tragedy.

Hope: I have prayed. Bo and I both have. We can't help thinking that Claire could have been our granddaughter.

Belle: [Sniffles]

Hope: You and Shawn were so close at one time.

Belle: I just wish he would send me a sign. Oh, please, God, just let me know that my daughter's gonna be all right. [Exhales raggedly]

Maggie: Welcome, everyone. Come in, come in. Hi, darling. Merry Christmas. Here -- I'll take your coat.

Mickey: Don't I get one of those kisses?

Julie: Well, Merry Christmas, sweetheart.

Bo: Hope will be here real soon. She had to run an errand at the hospital.

Alice: Merry Christmas.

Jennifer: [Smooches] Merry Christmas.

Alice: Oh, Merry Christmas, Maggie. Thank you, darling.

Abby: Merry Christmas, great-Gran. The tree looks amazing, as usual.

Alice: Well, it isn't quite finished yet, but thank you nonetheless.

Julie: And we have a new ornament this year. Gran just showed it to us.

Bo: Let me see.

Julie: Yeah.

Bo: Hey, it's for your sister -- Chelsea. Thanks, Mrs. H. she'll love this. She'll be here a little bit later.

Abby: That is if she and Max aren't having too much fun.

Mickey: So, how are you holding up -- all right?

Jennifer: I am. I'm hanging in there.

Mickey: Good.

Lexie: Philip, sorry, there's nothing new, but don't give up hope, okay? You never know what might happen.

Philip: I won't give up and neither will Belle. She's at St. Luke's right now praying for a Christmas miracle. [Sniffles]

Lexie: I'm praying, too.

Philip: Thanks.

Kate: [Sighs] Sweetie, I just heard. I'm so sorry. I can't believe this is happening.

Shawn D.: Okay.

Mimi: So, did you get ahold of your friend? Any word?

Shawn D.: Yeah, I got him working on it. He says something's gonna be up and running in a couple hours. For nothing else, hopefully it'll encourage people to become organ donors, give blood -- whatever they can do to help.

Bonnie: Mimi told me about your idea, Shawn. I think it's wonderful.

Shawn D.: Thanks. We'll see.

Bonnie: That baby sure is lucky to have you for a Godfather and Meems for a Godmother. Talk about a match made in heaven. Belle and Philip sure knew what they were doing when they put you two together.

Austin: What a thing to come home to, huh? Why didn't anyone tell us that Claire was so much worse?

Sami: Well, we're here now. I just want to know where Belle is.

Austin: There's Philip and my mom. Maybe they know.

Sami: No, I can't deal with Kate right now. I'm gonna go find Belle by myself.

Austin: Philip, mom, hi. I got your message. I came straight from the airport. I just got in. How's the baby?

Philip: Waiting for a donor.

Austin: I'm sorry, bro.

Philip: Thanks. Thanks for being here.

Austin: Man, are you kidding? Where else would I be? I just wish there was something I could do.

Kate: Well, I think the best thing we can do is pray -- pray for a Christmas miracle.

Belle: Hope... are you seeing what I'm seeing?

Hope: The candles?

Belle: Maybe that's the sign -- that's the sign that Claire's gonna be okay.

Hope: It could be.

Belle: You don't believe it?

Hope: I-I don't think the door closed all the way when I came in. It might just be a draft.

Belle: Oh.

Hope: But it doesn't mean that God won't still send us a sign. We just have to be patient and wait.

Belle: I just hope it happens soon. She doesn't have much time.

[Indistinct conversations]

Bo: How's your beard? You want to wear it?

Maggie: Jennifer?

Jennifer: Hmm?

Maggie: Would you and Abby like to hang the ornaments on the tree for all of the family who couldn't be here?

Jennifer: Yeah. Yeah, we would love to. Would you like to do that, honey?

Abby: Sure.

["It came upon a midnight clear" instrumental plays]

Lucas: Thanks for coming with me. I'm sorry I didn't have time to drop you off.

Carrie: It's okay.

Lucas: It's just I'm on the board, I'm a Horton, and I really have to be here for this.

Carrie: Lucas, it's no problem. I have always loved the reading of the Christmas story -- seeing all the little kids' faces light up. And what could be better than that my first night back in Salem?

Lucas: There you go. You got a point.

Carrie: But I do have to say, it's a little strange being back here -- back where Mike worked, where we fell in love. But that's over now. I have to move on, which means telling Austin I still have feelings for him.

Lucas: [Sighs]

Sami: Do you know who's coming?

Children: Santa!

Sami: Are you very excited to see him? Do you all know what you're gonna ask him for?

Children: Mm-hmm.

Sami: Are you ready? Are you ready? Wait. Who's here?

Santa: Ha ha ha ho! Merry Christmas!

Sami: Merry Christmas, Santa.

Santa: Hi, boys and girls. Come on over and tell Santa if you've been good boys and girls this year. Have you all been good boys and girls?

Children: Yeah!

Santa: Have you thought about what you want for Christmas?

Children: Yeah!

Santa: And what do you want Santa to bring you for Christmas this year?

Sami: I know exactly what I want santa to bring me for Christmas. I want Austin. And, luckily, Carrie is so far away that I really have a chance with him.

Hope: Hey, Merry Christmas, everyone.

Alice: Darling!

Hope: Oh, Gran, I'm so sorry that I'm late.

Alice: No. It was for a very good cause, and you're just in time.

Doug: Princess!

Hope: Hello, daddy. Merry Christmas.

Julie: Merry Christmas, darling.

Hope: Merry Christmas.

Zach: Mommy!

Bo: I told you she'd get here.

Hope: There is my little Santa and my very handsome husband.

Bo: Hello.

Hope: Merry Christmas.

Bo: Merry Christmas.

Hope: How you doing, sweetheart? You having a good Christmas Eve?

Zach: We're decorating the tree.

Hope: I can see that, and how beautiful it is. Look at all those gorgeous decorations.

Bo: These are just the ornaments of the people who couldn't be here.

Hope: Where's Shawn? Isn't he coming?

Bo: Yeah. He's at the hospital. He said he'd get here as soon as possible.

Hope: What about Chelsea? She's not here yet, either.

Bo: She said she'd be here by now -- promised me she wouldn't be late. She's kind of holding up the whole process.

Hope: Don't get upset. We'll just start hanging our ornaments. And when Chelsea and Max get here, they get here.

Bo: All right.

Hope: Hey, handsome. Would you like to hang your ornament, huh? How about this special one right over here with your name on it, my little doll. There you go, sweetheart. How about we hang it right here -- right on this branch right here? What do you say? Oh, such a good job.

Bo: You got it? Perfect. Good job, Tiny Man.

["O holy night" instrumental plays]

Abby: Mom, I know how much you're missing dad. I am, too.

Jennifer: I know, sweetie. I know you are.

Jack jr.: Mommy.

Kate: Well, hey, welcome home.

Lucas: Thank you.

Kate: I'm glad to see you. I just wish it wasn't under these circumstances.

Lucas: Yeah, me too. I heard about Claire. Have they found a donor yet?

Kate: No. No, they havenít. And I'm telling you something -- if Philip loses his daughter, it's going to destroy him.

Lucas: Yeah. Yeah, Belle, too, I guess.

Kate: How did it go with that girl that you were interested in?

Lucas: Not good. Uh, she's still hung up on somebody else, so it's not gonna happen.

Kate: Well, of course it's not going to happen if you're just gonna give up. I mean, you can't do that. You have to fight for her if you're interested in her. I'm sure whoever the other guy is, he's no match for you. So if you go after her, you're gonna win. I guarantee it.

Lucas: You really think I should, huh?

Kate: Yes, I do. You know, Lucas, deep down, you know that all I've ever wanted was your happiness. Okay. Look, I have to go call John. Think about what I said, okay?

Lucas: Yeah. Just one problem. One of your sons is gonna get his heart broken.

Lexie: Shawn, I need to ask you a favor.

Shawn D.: Sure. Yeah. What is it?

Lexie: We need someone to read the Christmas story to the children in the pediatric unit. Would you be interested?

Shawn D.: Me?

Lexie: Yeah. You're great with kids, and I'm sure your great-grandpa Tom would be pleased to know that you're carrying on the tradition. But if you'd rather not --

Shawn D.: No. I know that it's a very important tradition, and, yes, I would be honored to do it. I think I'll just dedicate the reading to Claire. You know, pray to God that he watches over her and all the other kids there.

Lexie: I think that's great. Come on. Let's go.

Shawn D.: Okay.

Lucas: Thank you. I appreciate that.

Sami: Lucas. What are you doing here?

Lucas: Have a good time in L.A., Sami?

Sami: Yes, I did. Austin and I had a great time. I'm surprised you were able to tear yourself away from that slut you were with.

Lucas: First of all, she's not a slut.

Sami: I doubt it.

Lucas: Second of all, I didn't have to tear myself away. She's here -- back in Salem.

Sami: What? Wait a second. You brought her back here? Who the hell is she, anyway, Lucas?

Lucas: Oh, don't you worry. You'll find out soon enough. And when you do, you're gonna be in for a real big shock.

Sami: [Sighs] What a jerk.

Roman: Oh, wait a minute. Are you telling me that son of a bitch physically abused Marlena?

John: Physically, mentally, every way you can think of, all throughout their marriage. He was violent, cruel, controlling, and she lived in constant fear of him, Roman.

Roman: Well, damn it, John, we have to find her.

[Keypad clacking]

John: And I think I just have. I know exactly where he's taking her.

Mickey: So, it's our turn, sweetheart. Shall we?

Maggie: Absolutely. Oh, yeah. That's mine.

Mickey: One more year -- we lived through it.

Maggie: [Chuckles]

[Exhales deeply]

Mickey: You know, the Hortonís certainly have an incredible family..

Maggie: And I'm very pleased this Christmas to be with the man that I love.

Mickey: [Chuckles]

Maggie: Oh!

Mickey: [Chuckles]

Sami: It's just that the reason my sister and I don't get along is because of the man that I'm with tonight.

Lucas: Hey, there you are. What's the matter? Are you okay?

Carrie: I thought I could do it, Lucas, but I'm not ready. I can't face seeing Sami.

Lucas: Relax, relax. Don't worry about Sami, okay? Forget about Austin -- for now. The best Christmas party in Salem's about to start. Come on.

Sami: Hmm. Well, maybe I'll find Austin under the mistletoe.

Santa: Ha ha ha ho! So, now, does everybody have an idea what you want me to bring you, huh? Very good. "Tell me what you're gonna bring me." A race car?

Hope: [Sighs] My heart goes out to Belle and Philip -- what they're going through -- the fear of losing a child. That is the worst kind of fear there is.

Bo: Well, we got to pray that they find a donor for Claire -- that she'll be all right.

Hope: Please, God, let that happen.

Lexie: Oh! Okay, Shawn, you're on.

Shawn D.: Okay.

Lexie: Good luck.

Shawn D.: Thanks.

Mimi: Look, everybody, Shawn's here. Say, "hi, Shawn!"

All: Hi, Shawn!

Shawn D.: Hi, guys. Okay.

["What child is this?" Instrumental plays] "Joseph went to the town of Bethlehem with his wife, Mary, who was with child. And it came to pass that Mary gave birth to her firstborn son. So she wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and she placed him in a manger. And an Angel of the Lord then appeared nearby to the Shepherds and said, 'do not be afraid. I bring great news of joy to all people, for today a Savior has been born to you.' And suddenly there was a heavenly host of Angels that were praising God, saying, 'glory to God in the highest and peace on earth to men of goodwill.'"

Bonnie: And this is the star of Bethlehem. It shone brightly in the sky the night Jesus was born and led the Wise Men and the Shepherds to find the baby in the manger. Look at that star. See how it shines.

Belle: [Exhales sharply] That's it. That's the sign I've been praying for. Claire's gonna be okay. She's gonna live. Look.

Bo: You see the star?

Zach: Yeah.

Bo: Yeah.

Philip: You know, I think you're right, honey. God sent us a sign that he's looking after our little girl and she's gonna be okay.

Hope: I pray Belle's right and there will be a miracle this Christmas.

Lexie: Okay, everybody. Let's go back to our rooms for presents and cookies! All right!

Santa: Presents! Who wants to come with me? Yay! Let's go, buddy. Keep going.

Children: Yay!

Lucas: Come on, Carrie. Where did you go?

[Clears throat]

Austin: [Shivers] It's a beautiful city. I'm glad to be back.

Carrie: So am I. Merry Christmas, Austin.

Roman: All right. What's happening here? What do you got?

John: I'm tracking Alex's car. He just used an E.Z. pass on the upstate turnpike. That means he's taking her back up to his cabin in the mountains.

Roman: What the hell are we waiting for? Let's go.

John: I just hope it's not too late.

["O little town of Bethlehem" instrumental plays]

Abby: Why did daddy have to leave us, mom? Why couldn't he be with us right now?

Jennifer: He is here, honey. [Sniffles] I promise you, he -- he is here. [ Sniffles] Honey, listen. I feel his love. [Sniffles] I feel his love so strong all around us.

Alice: To those we love, near and far... may the blessings of this day be with you now... and all the days of your lives.

Jennifer: I feel like Jack is somewhere nearby. I feel like he could walk in at any moment.

Shawn D.: I couldn't love her any more if she was my own.
