Mimi: Ugh. Why -- why do we have to dress up like this? I feel so stupid..

Bonnie: Oh, honey, where's your Christmas spirit? These outfits sell trees, and selling is what the holidays are all about. Ka-Ching, ka-Ching.

Mimi: I thought it was about celebrating the birth of Jesus or something like that.

Bonnie: Yeah, that too. We all have to do our part. Max is pitching in, and you don't hear him complaining.

Max: You would if I could talk.

Mimi: Mom, do you really need me to be here? I really have other places I should be right now.

Bonnie: Yes, I need you to help me set up my tree lot. Obviously, this is very seasonal work and I don't have much time to move my merchandise, which the same could be said about you, by the way.

Mimi: I'm not even going to ask what that means. You know, I really hope that you got the trees on the up-and-up this year instead of swiping them from the National Forest Service.

Bonnie: That was one time, and I didn't swipe them. I didn't know where the trees came from, I just knew I got a good deal -- a very good deal.

Mimi: Well, then, why did you have a chain saw in your trunk?

Bonnie: I'm telling you these trees are not hot. I bought them myself from a local distributor.

Mimi: Well, I hope so, because I would hate to see you end up in jail on Christmas. I've been there, and let me rest you assure, it's not a holiday unless.

Bonnie: Oh, believe me, sweetheart, this is all legit. But I will say this -- there is one good thing about being an ex-Horton. I don't have to sell for charity. This time the profits are all mine, mine, [Laughing] Mine.

Max: [Barks]

Bonnie: Yes, Max, and yours, too.

Max: [Whines]

Bonnie: I promised him he'd get a steak dinner out of this, and you know he will hold me to it.

Max: [Barks]

Bonnie: But speaking of being an ex-Horton... [Inhales deeply] Oh, I guess this won't be hanging on Alice's tree this year.

Mimi: Probably for the best. I mean, it practically tipped the entire tree over last year. Why do you still have that thing?

Bonnie: Well, I'm very glad you asked that. I am having my name taken off and having yours put on instead.

Mimi: What?

Bonnie: Yes. I'm thinking that if you play your cards right, by this time next year, you will be married to Shawn Brady and you will be putting your own ball on the Horton holiday tree.

Mimi: No, no way in hell will that ever happen.

Max: [Growls]

**************************************************************

Hope: Oh, my gosh. You got the tree.

Bo: Yeah, you like her?

Hope: Like her? She's beautiful, full. She's gorgeous. Actually, I think she is one of the most beautiful trees we've ever had.

Bo: I kind of thought so.

Hope: You couldn't have gotten this from Bonnie's lot.

Bo: Oh, no. This baby's live, so we get to enjoy it for the holidays, then Zach and I will plant her in the backyard.

Hope: Good idea. You are brilliant -- one of the reasons I love you.

Bo: I wanted this holiday to be very, very special. We've got an awful lot to be grateful for -- our family's all together, we're healthy.

Hope: Yeah. Yes, we are, and that I am very grateful for. When I think about poor Jennifer and Abby -- you know, what they must be going through after losing Jack -- my heart just breaks for them, Bo.

Bo: Yeah, yeah, I know, I know. We're all hurting for them. But we do have to try to get into the Christmas spirit for Zach. Christmas is for kids. He's looking forward to seeing Santa Claus. We can't disappoint him.

Hope: You're right. We canít. And we wonít. So I'm gonna do everything I possibly can to make this a Christmas he will always remember. I don't want any of us to ever take anything for granted. We are so lucky.

Bo: Yes, we are. I'm not gonna take anything for granted. I thank God every day for what he's given us.

Hope: So do I.

**************************************************************

Alex: Trust me, Kate. I really think you should take advantage of this situation now that Marlena has committed herself to me and to our marriage.

Kate: Alex, I have to be honest. I'm really not interested.

Alex: You don't have to pretend any longer with me. I know you're still in love with John. Now's your chance to be with him -- I mean, really be with him.

Kate: I don't want to talk about this anymore. I don't want to discuss it. The only thing I can think about right now is my son and his daughter who's in the hospital. That's my concern.

Alex: I understand that. I just don't think you should let this opportunity slip away. John is going to need someone now to help him pick up the pieces.

Kate: You're wrong if you think John's just gonna give up on Marlena. He loves Marlena, she loves him. He's going to make her see that love again, then they're gonna get back together again, and they're gonna live happily ever after.

**************************************************************

Marlena: [Sighs]

John: Merry Christmas, Marlena.

**************************************************************

Belle: Lexie, just tell me the truth. She's gonna be okay, right?

Lexie: She's going to need another transfusion until we can control the bleeding.

Belle: Okay, well, take my blood. Do whatever you have to do. Just save her life.

Lexie: Belle, you and Shawn have already given all that you safely can. Any more, you'd be endangering your own health.

Belle: I don't care about that.

Nurse: I got those fresh units for the baby, Dr. Carver.

Lexie: What fresh units?

Nurse: Shawn Brady. He told me you gave permission for him to donate two units.

Lexie: No, I did no such thing. Shawn lied to you.

Belle: He did it to save the baby.

Nurse: I should have checked with you first.

Lexie: Yes, you should have. He took a big risk giving more of his blood..

Belle: I need to find Shawn and make sure he's okay.

Belle: Shawn? Shawn? Oh, my God, Shawn, are you okay? Shawn? Shawn? Shawn?

**************************************************************

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of Our Lives.

**************************************************************

Marlena: You shouldn't have done that. I'm a married woman. You shouldn't have kissed me like that.

John: Easy. Come on. It's not what you think. It's just tradition.

[Both chuckle]

Marlena: Sorry.

John: Now, I'm sure you don't remember all the Christmases we spent together kissing under the mistletoe, huh?

Marlena: [Exhales deeply] I do. I do remember kissing under the mistletoe just like this.

John: Then you also remember we never could stop at just one.

Marlena: [Moans]

**************************************************************

Alex: I wonder what's taking Marlena so long. Maggie said she had a phone call at the bar. Where's John? If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go find my wife.

Marlena: [Moaning] No, you know what? We canít.

John: No, of course we can.

Marlena: [Moans]

Alex: What the hell?

Kate: Looks to me like you'd better rethink your "John and Marlena are over" idea.

Alex: You son of a bitch.

Marlena: What? No. Alex, no, no, please stop. Donít. Donít. It's all right. It's all right. I promise it's okay.

**************************************************************

Belle: Shawn, wake up. Please wake up.

Shawn D.: Belle?

Belle: Yes, it's me. I'm right here.

Shawn D.: Wh-what, um, what happened?

Lexie: Shawn.

Shawn D.: I'm fine.

Belle: Here.

Shawn D.: I'm okay, I'm okay.

Lexie: You're not fine, okay? I can see that. You shouldn't have lied to the nurses. You shouldn't have given more blood.

Shawn D.: I know, I know. I'm sorry. Actually, I'm not sorry. Is Claire okay?

Belle: Did she get the transfusion?

Lexie: Yes, she did, and I am relieved to say that Claire is stable.

Belle: Thanks to Shawn.

Lexie: Well, we've controlled the hemorrhaging for the moment, but that might change. All right, now, Shawn, I am very concerned about you.

Shawn D.: No, really, you shouldn't be. I'm okay.

Belle: What's wrong?

Lexie: This isn't good. It's not good at all.

**************************************************************

Bonnie: Excuse me? You Donít want a Horton Christmas ball? You donít want to marry Shawn Brady who, need I remind you, is half Horton and part Kiriakis. Are you out of your mind? Who'd let a chance like that get away?

Mimi: I am just saying --

Bonnie: Shh, shh, aah! I admit. I blew it with Mickey. But I'm not about to let you make the same mistake. Sweetheart, you are our last, best chance. You are the Lockharts' last chance to move up in this world and be a part of a respectable family. Hell, we'd be part of two respectable families -- very rich families.

Mimi: Oh, I hate when you talk like that. I've told you a million times. I would never marry anyone for their money even if they wanted to marry me!

Bonnie: You also told me a million times that you weren't interested in Shawn Brady.

Mimi: [Sighs]

Bonnie: Why Donít you want your ball on the Horton tree?

Mimi: Just not that one, okay? Look, if Shawn and I ever end up getting married, which is very highly unlikely, I would just want a normal ornament like everyone else's. This thing looks like you were trying to show the world that you had won some big prize.

Bonnie: That's exactly what it is. Baby, you land that boy, and it's like you've hit the lottery and the jackpot all rolled into one.

Mimi: Mom, I have told you over and over, okay? Shawn and I are not getting married.

Bonnie: I Donít know about that. You two seem to be getting pretty cozy. Nothing's happened, has it? I mean, he hasn't dumped you.

Mimi: No, he hasn't dumped me, thank you very much.

Bonnie: Thank God. You are still getting closer, right?

Mimi: We were getting closer. I mean, he's been a little preoccupied lately, which is understandable. I mean, he's upset and worried about Claire. We all are. But...

Bonnie: But?

Mimi: I Donít know. It's...it's as if he thinks Claire is, like, his own child, not his Goddaughter.

Bonnie: Oh, sweetie, I'm sure that's just because he takes his God parenting responsibilities very seriously. Not that you Donít. I'm not saying -- honey, I'm sorry. I know this must be hard for you being around that baby.

Mimi: It was. It was really hard at first. But Shawn has helped me see that...I mean, it doesn't have to mean the end of the world. I can still adopt. There is one bright side. We donít have to use birth control.

Bonnie: Birth control?! Miriam Lockhart, you've been holding out on me. You and Shawn have been getting closer -- much closer!

Mimi: Why did I let that come out of my mouth?

Bonnie: Oh, sweetie, I knew it. I knew this would happen. You have got Shawn right where you want him. You're halfway home.

Mimi: That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

Bonnie: No, no, I knew if you put your mind to it and your body, you would rope yourself a cash cow -- uh, bull.

[Giggles]

Mimi: What are you talking about? Shawn is a mechanic, okay? He can barely make ends meet.

Bonnie: Oh, please. That is just for now. But someday very soon, his Horton and Kiriakis trust fund ships will come sailing in. And then he and my beautiful daughter and her whole family will be living on easy street.

Mimi: [Inhales sharply] You know what? I really -- I gotta go now.

Bonnie: Wait, wait, wait, wait. Let me guess. You've got a hot date. It's okay, honey. You run along.

Mimi: No, mother, I told you. He is really worried about Claire right now. He is at the hospital with Belle.

Bonnie: What? You left him alone with Belle? Are you out of your mind? That is a surefire way to lose Shawn forever!

**************************************************************

Hope: And then the prince and the princess and their two very handsome, extraordinary sons and beautiful daughter lived happily ever after. I love you, honey.

Zach: I love you, too, mommy.

Hope: You have sweet dreams, okay? And I'll see you in the morning. Okay? [ Smooches] I'll check on you in a little while.

Hope: I finally got Zach to sleep, and you know what? You were so right.

Bo: What?

Hope: He is so excited. He can't wait for Christmas to get here.

Bo: I told you.

Hope: You know, he kind of got me in the Christmas mood. I want to make a big turkey dinner -- all the trimmings. I know I can't cook, but I'm gonna give it a shot. And I want to invite everyone, the whole family -- Gran, Jen, Abby, Jack Jr., Chelsea, Shawn, Mimi. Mimi....you know? I'm kind of getting used to the sound of that -- "Shawn and Mimi." Not "Shawn and Belle."

Bo: Come here.

Hope: What?

Bo: They do make a great couple.

Hope: Yeah, they do. I mean, I like Mimi, but still...I'll always think it's kind of sad about Shawn and Belle. They were so in love.

Bo: Yep. They were. But now it's over.

Hope: Gran doesn't seem to think so.

Bo: What are you talking about? They're married, they have a little baby girl together.

Hope: I know, I know, I know, but before all of that happened, Gran was so convinced that Shawn and Belle would be married one day that she decided to go out and purchase an ornament for Belle for the Horton Christmas tree.

Bo: Yeah, and?

Hope: And I said to Gran -- I said, "so, okay, what are you gonna do with the ornament now?" And she said that something told her not to get rid of it yet.

Bo: Why?

Hope: Well, Gran seems to have a sixth sense or whatever you call it that they'll still end up together someday... which isn't going to happen, because, like you said, Philip and Belle are together now. They have a beautiful baby. They'll be together forever. So if things work out for Mimi and Shawn, I guess it'll be her ornament someday to hang on the Horton Christmas tree.

Bo: Mm-hmm. I wonder.

Hope: You wonder? You wonder what?

Bo: Well, if Mrs. H. is so sure about Shawn and Belle, maybe they are meant to be together. When was the last time she was wrong about something like that? Mm-hmm. [Chuckles]

**************************************************************

Alex: You have no right putting your hands on my wife.

John: Sorry, pal, my wife. I donít care what you say.

Marlena: Now, please stop this, both of you. You're acting like children.. Don't do this.

Alex: He was kissing you. He was forcing himself on you. I'm not about to let him get away with that.

Marlena: No, you misunderstood. He wasn't forcing himself on me. Alex, we were standing underneath the mistletoe, and it reminded us both of...moments in the past. That's all it was.

Alex: You were reminded?

John: I know how much you hate to hear that, doctor. But the fact is, when I kissed her just now, it did bring back some memories -- some real memories for Marlena -- of all the Christmases we spent together. And I'm sure that those memories brought back some genuine feelings.

Alex: Maybe so. Well, I'm just happy that you're remembering more of your past, and I certainly do not feel threatened by that because I'm sure that you have many memories of the Christmases and the holidays we spent together -- some very special memories.

Marlena: I do. I do have memories of Christmases with you also.

Alex: Now, the only question is -- which of those memories means more to you?

**************************************************************

Hope: I -- I cannot believe what I'm hearing. You're the one who always said that I should not interfere in my son's love life. He's growing up.

Bo: I know that Shawn and Mimi belong together. That's the way it should be, but Mrs. H. isn't wrong about matters of the heart. Case in point -- she was about the only one who believed that you and I belonged together. Doug and just about everybody else in your family thought I was bad news, but Mrs. H. knew that I was your prince charming and that we were meant to be.

Hope: Yes. And she was definitely right that time.

Bo: Mm-hmm. And every other time since.

Hope: All right. You're starting to convince me.

Bo: Yeah.

Hope: I wonder if Gran hanging on to that ornament really could mean something. What if Shawn and Belle really do have a future after all?

Bo: Hmm.

**************************************************************

Belle: What do you mean? What doesn't look good, Lexie?

Lexie: His blood pressure is dangerously low, which would explain why he passed out. I wish you'd listened to me. You're in no condition to be giving more blood -- let alone 2 pints.

Shawn D.: It was worth it if I could help save the baby.

Lexie: [Sighs] Come on. I want you to lie down, lie back, get some rest, okay? I need you to drink several glasses of water or juice, okay? We might need an IV if you can't replenish your fluids.

Shawn D.: I'm fine.

Belle: Don't worry, Lexie. I'll make sure he takes care of himself.

Lexie: Thank you. I'm gonna check on Claire and let you know how she's doing, okay?

Belle: Thank you. Thank you for everything.

Lexie: You're welcome, honey. Rest.

Shawn D.: [Exhales deeply]

Belle: And you...how do I ever thank you? What you did for Claire, Shawn, is --

Shawn D.: You Donít have to thank me. It's just something I had to do. I would do anything for her... just like I'd do anything for you.

Belle: [Chuckles] I always thought if I had a baby that I would have it with you.

Shawn D.: If Claire had been mine, we'd probably still be together, wouldn't we?

**************************************************************

Mimi: [Sighs] Mom, please, okay? I am not going to lose Shawn. He is with Belle as a friend, okay? He's not going to be putting the moves on her while her baby's in there fighting for her life. He is there for moral support. That is all. Besides, Philip is there. I called to check in earlier, and Belle told me that Philip was finally getting some sleep in the on-call room.

Bonnie: Asleep in another wing of the hospital isn't exactly what I call "there." It's a recipe for disaster, damn it. That's what I think.

Mimi: Well, I didn't ask you.

Bonnie: Shawn and Belle alone together bonding over that baby? Mimi, you listen to me and you listen good. You have to get down there pronto and put your hot little bod between those two, and I donít mean like in a three-way.

Mimi: Mom, okay, that is enough, and I mean it! Shawn is there because Belle's baby is sick -- period. Claire is all either one of them is thinking about right now. You're the only one with the overactive imagination.

Bonnie: No, I'm thinking about you. God knows one of us has to. [Sighs] Mimi, I just want you to marry Shawn, have a family, and live happily ever after.

Mimi: Well, that could be a problem -- at least part of the equation.

Bonnie: What part? What are you talking about?

Mimi: Even though Shawn talks about how great adoption is and he really means it, I know deep down inside he wants to have a child of his own. I mean, family has always been extremely important to Shawn, and I can't give him that.

Bonnie: Come on. Shawn will be thrilled to adopt, and you two can have lots of kids, and he will love every one of those children as if they were his own.

Mimi: Thank you. I appreciate your saying that.

Bonnie: You know what the best part is? Hmm? You get to keep that cute little bod. No stretch marks, no 60-pound weight gain like I had with you and didn't lose until the minute I got pregnant with Connor. Trust me, baby, Shawn will appreciate missing out on that little bit of fun and so will you.

Mimi: [Chuckles] I donít care if I gained 100 pounds. Mother, I would give anything to be able to feel a baby growing inside me... to wonder, you know, if she was going to look like me or take after me.

Bonnie: Honey, I know. I just kept praying you wouldn't take after your father.

Mimi: Well, I would love for my baby to take after Shawn, but that's not going to happen. You know, if Shawn had to choose between adoption and having his own child with Belle... I'm pretty sure I know what he would choose.

**************************************************************

["God rest ye merry gentlemen" plays]

Hope: Mmm.

Bo: You know, whether Shawn is with Mimi or Belle or someone else, as long as he finds someone who makes him as happy as you have made me.

Hope: Oh, you are so getting a good Christmas gift. [Chuckles]

Zach: Mommy, daddy?

Hope: Hey.

Bo: Hey, tiny man.

Hope: Honey, what are you doing out of bed?

Zach: Did Santa come yet?

Hope: [Gasps]

Bo: We had a little talk about this, didn't we? He doesn't come till Christmas Eve.

Hope: Tell you what. How about this? How about you help me hang your Christmas stocking so it'll be ready for santa to fill when he gets here? Then you go back to bed.. Deal? Sure? Promise? Okay.

Bo: Oh, look, yours is right on top.

Hope: Here you go, honey. There you go. Let me grab mommy and daddy's. Whoops.

Bo: Got it?

Hope: There you go. Good job, honey. Okay, here's daddy's, the head of the family.

Bo: [Smooches]

Hope: The queen of the family. And how about your brother Shawn's? There we go.

Bo: You want to hang onto J.T.'s?

Hope: And you know what, honey? I even got one for J.T. and we'll send it to him after Santa fills it so he doesn't think we forgot about him. Hey, wait a minute. Speaking of forgetting, I almost forgot.

Bo: What?

Hope: I have a little surprise for you.

Bo: What is it?

Hope: After he -- you know -- I'll share that with you.

Bo: Hey, tiny man, it's time for you to go back to bed.

Hope: Do you want to go back to bed?

Zach: No.

Bo: Hey, wait a minute. Um, you know what happens? If you're not in bed, Santa Claus flies over the house, you Donít get any presents. You Donít want that, do you?

Zach: No.

Bo: No, that's what I thought. And you're sleepy anyway.

Hope: You sleep well, sweetheart. I'll check on you in a little while. All right, Hope, what did you do with that present? I know -- gosh, it's right in front of me. I didn't even see it. Okay. Here we go. That was really fast.

Bo: Yeah, well, he was a little worried about Santa flying over the house not leaving -- you know, I think he's gonna sleep until Christmas Eve.

Hope: You think?

Bo: Where's my present?

Hope: I have it right here.

Bo: What is it? Hmm. It's a stocking for Chelsea.

Hope: Mm-hmm.

Bo: I was -- you beat me to it.

Hope: I thought it'd be a nice gesture.

Bo: Nice gesture? Hope, this is...this is great. It means you think of her as family.

Hope: She's Shawn and Zach's half sister, your flesh and blood. Of course I think of her as part of the family. I think of Chelsea as my own daughter, Bo.

Bo: How did I get so lucky to have a wonderful wife like you, huh?

Hope: Want to do the honors?

Bo: You betcha. One more hook. Right there.

Hope: [Sighs]

Bo: We are so lucky to have such an amazing family.

Hope: Knowing that we're all going to be together at Christmas, that is the best -- the best present I ever could have asked for.

Bo: We will always be together. I love you, Fancy Face.

Hope: I love you, Brady.

[Both chuckle]

Merry Christmas to you

Bo: [Growls]

**************************************************************

Alex: Marlena? You know which of those memories means more to you now?

Marlena: John, I'm sorry. I'm married to Alex. He is my husband.

John: Oh, come on.

Marlena: And I need to spend time with him. I will be sharing Christmas with him and...every Christmas after this also.

Alex: Are you satisfied?

John: Nope.

Marlena: Don't do this. Don't make this tougher than it already is.

Kate: [Thinking] Maybe Alex was right. Maybe John and I do have a chance to be together.

Alex: I understand you still have feelings for Marlena. I know this situation isn't easy for you, but I think I've been more than patient in trying to allow you two time together. But let's get one thing straight -- Marlena is no longer your wife and kissing her like that for any reason is unacceptable.

Marlena: Alex, it's all right. I told you. It meant nothing.

John: Sure it did...to you, just like it did to me.

Alex: John...you have to accept the fact that your marriage to Marlena's over and that her future is with me.

Marlena: Alex is right. He is my husband, and I need to give that a chance. I want to give that a chance.

Alex: Come on, let's go.

John: [Inhales sharply]

Kate: John, donít. Let them go.

**************************************************************

Belle: [Sighs] Things really turned out differently than either one of us planned, that's for sure. And the reality is that Claire isn't yours. She's Philip's. And he and I are married now. And, you know, I think that this crisis with the baby's really brought us even closer, and I think that we have a really strong family and a real future.

Shawn D.: I understand. And I'm glad you feel that way.

Belle: [Sniffles] But I want you to know that I will never forget what you did here tonight, and neither will Philip. This is exactly why we chose you and Mimi to be Godparents -- because we knew we could count on you and because you've always been our best friends. And you always will be. And if Claire pulls through this...

Shawn D.: She will.

Belle: ...Then she will know that her Godfather saved her life.

**************************************************************

[Door opens]

Lexie: Excuse me. Belle, uh, I have some bad news about the baby.

Lexie: I am so sorry to have to tell you this.

Belle: What is it? What happened?

Lexie: [Exhales] Well, it seems that Claire's liver is starting to fail now, as well.

Shawn D.: I thought the blood that I gave her helped.

Lexie: It did. It definitely -- it tided her over for the time being, but... I'm afraid it's finite.

Belle: [Sobbing] No.

[Sobbing]

**************************************************************

Kate: Please Donít do it. Don't go after him. Don't provoke him. It's not gonna do any good. She made her decision. You have no choice but to accept it.

[Cellphone rings]

John: It's Belle. Let's hope for some good news. Hey, baby.

Belle: Dad, it's me. Claire... you need to get over here.

John: On our way.

Kate: What is it?

John: We got to get to the hospital. It doesn't sound good.

Kate: Oh, my God.

**************************************************************

Marlena: I've got to go.

Alex: We will go, but I'm going to keep my eye on you. I will not allow you to become overly stressed.

Marlena: Fine. Let's go quickly, please.

**************************************************************

["Deck the Halls" plays]

Bonnie: Hey, hey, hey, hey. No more talk like that. If Shawn loves you, nothing else will matter. Of all the Lockharts, you are the only one with a conscience. No matter how many times I tried to teach you the ways of the world, you somehow stayed a good person [Chuckles] In spite of me. And now I know all that goodness is finally gonna pay off. You are finally gonna find happiness with Shawn. I'm sure of it.

Max: [Barks]

Bonnie: [Laughs] See? Even Max is sure.

[Giggles]

**************************************************************

Bo: Nuh-uh. Jen said she saw Jack's spirit?

Hope: Mm-hmm. She claims Jack came back and told her in no uncertain terms that he wanted her to be with Frankie.

Bo: That is crazy. I mean, considering everything she's been through... I mean, if I lost you, I'd lose my mind, too.

Hope: I donít think it's so crazy.

Bo: Hope, she's seeing ghosts.

Hope: Frankie confided in me not long ago that Jack personally asked him to be there for Jennifer after he was gone.

Bo: "Be there"?

Hope: Yeah. To take Jack's place.

Bo: Take his place as in...

Hope: He wanted Jennifer and Frankie to fall in love again...

Bo: Oh, man.

Hope: ...And for Frankie to eventually take his place as Jennifer's husband and the father of her children.

Bo: Jack said that?

Hope: Yeah. He insisted that's what he wanted. I mean, Jennifer -- poor thing -- she didn't even know anything about it.

Bo: Man, talk about selfless.

Hope: Yeah. Pretty incredible, isn't it?

Bo: Yeah.

Hope: Jack knew he couldn't have a future with Jennifer. He knew he was dying and...he just wanted to make sure she was taken care of. He wanted to make sure that she found happiness again after he was gone.

Bo: Yeah, well, he also wanted to protect her. That's why he wanted Frankie there -- so someone like Lockhart wouldn't move in. He wouldn't even wait till Jack's body's cold.

Hope: Brady, I really donít see that happening. Patrick would not go after Jennifer. He's not even interested in her that way.

Bo: Yeah, I wouldn't bet on it.

Hope: I would. Billie and Patrick are getting closer. Can't you see that? Right now, I'm sure she's the only woman on his mind.

**************************************************************

Bo: You know what? We were having such a nice evening. Let's not talk about Lockhart.

Hope: You're the one who brought him up.

Bo: Oh, my mistake.

Hope: Okay, just one more thing, though, before we move on. He's probably gonna be at the memorial service for Jack tomorrow, so please be civil.

Bo: Not to worry. Those two need all the support they can get.

Hope: It's gonna be a hard day for everyone. I can't believe Jack's gone..

Bo: Yeah, neither can I.

Hope: Let's just pray to God that we donít get any more bad news and that Belle and Philip's baby will be okay and everyone we love will be safe and healthy over the holidays. That's what I pray for.

Bo: Yeah.

Hope: [Sighs]

**************************************************************

Mimi: Mom? What do you think about this one for Belle and Philip's loft? It's just the right size.

Bonnie: Go for it. I'll have Donnie, my hunky santa's helper, tie it to the roof of your car. Oh, and, hey, how about some of this for yours and Shawn's place?

Mimi: Mistletoe?

Bonnie: Mm-hmm.

Mimi: [Sarcastically] You know there's enough here?

Bonnie: Why take chances? This way, you'll have enough for the bedroom and the living room and the kitchen and the shower.

Mimi: The shower?

Bonnie: Do what I'm telling you. You light that man's fire every chance you get, and you'll have him eating out of your hand like a sweet little puppy dog.

Max: [Barks]

Bonnie: [Laughing] Yes, won't she, Max? You know what I'm talking about.

Max: [Barks]

Mimi: You never give up, do you, mom?

Bonnie: Nope. 'Cause I never stop wanting the best for my little girl. All I want for Christmas...is for you to get everything you deserve, baby. Mmm.

[Giggles] Ooh! [Laughs]

**************************************************************

[Monitor beeping steadily]

Belle: [Sniffles]

[Sniffles]

Shawn D.: Any news?

Belle: No. You should be resting. I'm really worried about you.

Shawn D.: Well, Donít be, okay? You have enough to worry about. I am fine. I'm just here for you and the baby, okay? You want some coffee?

[Alarm monitor beeping]

Belle: Oh, my God, something's wrong. Lexie, what's wrong?!

Lexie: Stay out here.

Belle: [Sobbing] I'm losing her.

Shawn D.: No, we Donít know that, okay? She's in there. She's gonna figure out what's wrong, okay?

**************************************************************

John: What's happening? Claire?

Belle: No, I Donít know. Her liver is failing and then her alarm monitor started going off.

John: Sweetie.

Kate: Oh, my God. Where's Philip? But -- [Scoffs]

John: You just have to pray that she's gonna make it through this and she's gonna be all right.

Belle: I am praying as hard as I can. My daughter is dying and I can't stop it.

[Sobbing]

**************************************************************

Austin: You should be happy that I want to go with you to the concert.

Sami: I mean, it's the Stones. It would be the most exciting thing ever.

**************************************************************

Marlena: [Sobbing] I donít know what I'd do without you.

Alex: Then let me be there for you. Let me take care of you.

**************************************************************

John: I've lost her, Kate. I've lost her.
