Carrie: I cannot believe that Sami is in L.A. In this restaurant and was in the ladies' room at the exact same moment that I was. Thank God she didn't see me.

Lucas: I'm glad you're okay. I was getting worried about you.

Carrie: Well, I'm not gonna be okay if they see me. I don't want to have to explain to them why I broke up with Mike and why I'm not in Israel and -- any of it.

Lucas: All right, look, the most discreet escape route I can see is via the dance floor. Good thing you're wearing your dancing shoes. Come on.

Sami: I cannot believe that Lucas is in L.A. and he's with some woman. He is such a liar. He told me it was just business.

Austin: He could date someone if he wants to. It's not like you two are together anymore. Do you want to dance? Let's go, come on.

Sami: Sure. It's been a long time since you and I danced together.

Austin: I remember how much you love to.

Sami: You do?

Austin: I do.

Sami: Oh, my God. She's here.

Austin: Who's here?

Sami: The woman in the bathroom. Um, she had these great shoes, and I told her how cool they were. I was wondering where she got them.

Austin: Well, I'll go find out for you.

Sami: No, no.

Austin: I'll be right back.

Sami: It's okay, Austin.

Austin: Excuse me, I'm sorry. This is a silly question, but, uh... oh, man. I can't believe it's you.

Marlena: Thank you.

Maggie: Oh, it's so good to see you, Marlena.

Marlena: Oh, hi.

Maggie: And you.

Marlena: Your decorations look beautiful.

Maggie: Well, I thought about toning them down a little. I mean, we're all so upset about Jack's death, but it's not what he would have wanted.

Marlena: From what I know of Jack, he would have wanted everything to continue as usual, especially traditions around the family.

Maggie: Marlena, Mickey and I heard about Belle's baby. Has there been any improvement?

Marlena: Uh, no. She's, uh, just still holding on.

Maggie: Well, know that she's in our prayers. Please, if there's anything we can do.

Marlena: Thank you. We shouldn't have come here.

Alex: Why not?

Marlena: I shouldn't have left Belle at the hospital by herself.

Alex: But she's not alone. Philip is there. Shawn and Mimi. Kate's there..

Marlena: I know, but I'm her mother.

Alex: Yes, you are. But you cannot become too involved in her problems. It's not good for you.

Marlena: The problem is her baby daughter is in the hospital fighting for her life. Should I not be concerned with my family?

Alex: No, you shouldnít.

Kate: Oh, God.

John: What are you doing out here without a coat? It's freezing.

Kate: Well, I thought a dose of cold air might wake me up because the coffee stopped working hours ago.

John: You haven't gotten any sleep, have you?

Kate: I haven't left the hospital, if that's what you mean.

John: And how's Claire?

Kate: She's stable, but it's not good. It's not good.

John: I know.

Kate: If anything happens to her, if she doesn't make it...

John: Hey. Lexie and the doctors are doing everything they can.

Kate: I know that, but what if it's not enough? 'Cause if that baby dies, it's going to destroy Belle and Philip.

John: Right now, I am just as concerned about you, Kate.

Belle: Shawn.

Shawn D.: Hey, what happened?

Belle: Her kidneys are failing. She started to stabilize a little bit by the time Lexie got here, but she's getting worse.

Shawn D.: Is Lexie in there?

Belle: Yeah.

Shawn D.: Where's Philip?

Belle: He's just getting some sleep. He's been up for like 48 hours.

Shawn D.: So have you.

Belle: One of us needs to be rested in case... in case there are decisions that need to be made.

Shawn D.: Decision--

Belle: How is she? The nurse said she was getting better, so she's gonna be okay, right?

Lexie: I am not going to sugarcoat things. Claire's taken a turn for the worse.

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of Our Lives.

Belle: No. No, the nurse said that her test results were better.

Lexie: Right, but her latest test results show her kidneys are progressively shutting down. On top of that, she's developed internal hemorrhaging. We don't know from where yet, but she's losing a lot of blood. We have to find out where the hemorrhaging is coming from and stop it. Otherwise, we don't know --

Belle: Oh, my God.

Shawn D.: Easy, easy.

Lexie: Are you all right?

Belle: Just help my daughter.

John: Let me take you home. You're gonna get some sleep.

Kate: No, no. I'm not gonna leave Belle and Philip and the baby.

John: To be strong for them, you got to take care of yourself. When's the last time you ate?

Kate: This morning. I had some toast in the cafeteria. I mean, I think it was this morning. You were there.

John: Two days ago. You need some real food. I'm gonna take you out for a meal.

Kate: No, no, I'm not hungry.

John: I don't care.

Kate: Look, I can't do it, all right? What if something happened?

John: Cellphone. If something happens, they'll call. We'll come right back. I'm not taking no for an answer. You're going to dinner with me. Come on.

Kate: Okay, fine.

Marlena: Are you saying that I should forget about my family?

Alex: No, I'm not saying that, but if you do not take care of yourself, you'll be of no use to Belle, Claire, or anyone else.

Marlena: Claire is in critical condition. She has to come first.

Alex: No. You have to come first. You haven't eaten. You haven't slept.

Marlena: Alex, I'm fine.

Alex: No, you are not fine. You still have amnesia, which is a very serious psychological condition, which can be made worse with stress. So, no matter what is going on with your family right now, you have to concentrate on making yourself better by not letting yourself get run down. Otherwise, you're going to cause yourself some serious, permanent damage.

Marlena: Thank you for being concerned about me.

["I'll be home for Christmas" plays]

Alex: Do you hear that?

Marlena: Mm-hmm.

Alex: "I'll be home for Christmas." We danced to this song on our first Christmas together.

Marlena: Oh. I don't remember it.

Alex: That's all right. It doesn't mean we can't dance to it now. Shall we? It might bring back some memories.

Marlena: Or it might take my mind off my concerns about John and my children.

Austin: Rori Finch. What are you doing in L.A.?

Rori: I could ask you the same thing.

Austin: I'm just here on some business.

Rori: I moved here almost six months ago. I assumed you knew.

Austin: No, no. Are you still involved in fund-raising?

Rori: What else? This whole Christmas party is a charity event I put together for families who were displaced by Katrina and Rita, to help get them and their children Christmas presents so they can have some kind of semblance of a holiday. It's amazing how quickly people forget and get preoccupied with their own lives.

Austin: You are amazing.

Rori: Oh, hardly, but look at you! It's so amazing to see you! Aah!

Austin: You too.

Sami: So, um, did you find out where the shoes are from?

Austin: Oh, wow. Um, excuse me. Rori Finch, this is Sami Brady, my executive assistant at Austin Reed and company.

Sami: Hi.

Austin: Rori and I, we hung out [Laughs] In New York.

Rori: Yeah.

Austin: She was admiring your shoes. That's why I came over -- nah, forget it.

Rori: Um, I got them at a little store in Beverly Hills. Sorry, I don't remember the name.

Sami: That's too bad.

Rori: Austin Reed and company. I heard a rumor you were going out on your own.

Austin: It's true.

Rori: Congratulations.

Austin: Thank you.

Rori: Are you based in New York?

Austin: No, Salem.

Rori: Ah, interesting choice. But you could base your company in Dogpatch and make a success of it. [Laughs] Do you remember that time we went to that '70s party --

Sami: Um, you know I was gonna ask you, uh, are you okay after your accident?

Rori: What accident?

Sami: Just a couple of minutes ago in the ladies' room.

Rori: Uh, I haven't been in the ladies' room all night. It must be kismet. You just happening to be out here on business tonight. [Laughs]

Sami: Um, you know what? Speaking of business, we should probably get back to our business -- the meeting.

Rori: I wouldn't want to keep you from anything important.

Austin: Actually, you know what? I think our work is done for tonight. I want to buy you a drink. We need to catch up.

Rori: I would love it. It is so amazing to see you! Oh, my God. It's been too long. Way...too...long, yeah.

Lucas: We made it.

Carrie: Now, let's get out of here before Austin and Sami see us.

Lucas: Let me just get the valet, okay?

Austin: Apple martini.

Rori: Single-malt scotch.

Sami: Oh, my God, Austin. Austin, look over there.

Lucas: [Imitating Boris] And I think we did it, Natasha. I think we successfully alluded the moose and the squirrel.

Carrie: [Laughs] Oh, you must think I'm crazy. Do you?

Lucas: No, no, I donít.

Carrie: I just -- I'm not ready to deal with Sami or Austin.

Lucas: I can understand that. But I don't think either of them are in a position to point fingers at you 'cause your relationship with mike didn't work out.

Carrie: Austin and I were kind of the storybook couple, where we thought we'd be together forever, so did everyone.

Lucas: Mm-hmm.

Carrie: But then Sami -- no, I'm not gonna blame this on Sami. I fell for Mike, and Austin and I were finished. And then to let everyone in Salem know that I wrecked my marriage so he'd jump into a relationship that didn't work out...well, it's just not gonna be easy.

Lucas: Look, I'm sorry, okay? I'm sorry for whatever part I played in that, and the fact that you and Austin didn't work out. I'm really sorry about that.

Carrie: You didnít. You grew up, and you moved on a long time ago, but Sami...

Lucas: What? Sami what?

Carrie: [Sighs] When I was in the ladies' room, I overheard her talking to the attendant, and she was going on and on about how she was gonna get Austin back. Can you believe that?

Lucas: Yeah, actually, I can believe it. It's typical Sami -- bouncing back and forth between me and my brother. That's just great.

Carrie: And then she told the attendant that she was also in love with you.

Lucas: Which is irrelevant. What's that old saying? "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me"? Except I've been fooled so many times, Carrie, I can't even count.

Carrie: I'm sorry. I shouldn't have brought it up.

Lucas: No, it's fine. It really is. It's over. Between me and Sami, it's over. What we had is gone. I'm moving on with my life. And it does not include Sami.

Carrie: You almost make it sound like you found someone else.

Lucas: Well, I have. At least I hope I have.

Maggie: Good eve-- hello, Kate, John.

John: Hi, Maggie. How about a couple for dinner?

Maggie: Uh, do you have a reservation?

John: Um, no. It's kind of a spur of the moment -- I'm sorry I'm not dressed for the occasion, but do you have room for two? Come on, old time's sake?

Maggie: It's not that. It's, uh, it's just that we're full -- pretty full tonight.

John: That's okay, Maggie. I see what you mean.

Maggie: I'm sorry.

Alex: I want all your memories to return. How many times do I have to tell you that?

Marlena: I'm not sure.

Alex: Of course it's only natural that I want you to remember the times that we have spent together first.

Marlena: Hmm. [Chuckles]

Alex: So, anything?

Marlena: No. I have no memory of dancing with you to this song.

Alex: Are you sure?

Marlena: I'm sure. But the truth is, I do have some memory of dancing with John to this song.

Alex: Really?

Marlena: Yeah. Hmm. [Gasps] Excuse me. Hi, there. Sorry.

John: Marlena.

Marlena: Hi, have you come from the hospital?

John: Yeah.

Marlena: Any news on the baby?

Kate: Yes, she's still stable, but she's in very serious condition.

Marlena: And how's Belle?

John: About as you would expect. Nice to know you're concerned about the family.

Marlena: Of course I'm concerned.

Alex: We really should get back to the table.

Marlena: John, I have my cellphone. If there's any news at all, please....please call me.

John: Okay.

Alex: Listen...if being here with John and Kate is disturbing you, we can certainly go someplace else.

Marlena: Oh, no, no. Alex, no, thank you. It's -- it's all right. I chose to be with you, not John.

Kate: Thank you.

John: Thank you. She's committed to staying with North. She told me to forget about everything that we had and just move on.

Kate: Well, maybe that's something you should consider at this point.

John: How? How do you just...forget about somebody that you love?

Kate: I don't think I'm the person that you should be asking that question.

John: She doesn't want me calling her "Doc" anymore, says that Marlena no longer exists. I'm sorry. I'm being insensitive here. I don't mean to be dumping this on you, not with Claire being so ill. I'm sorry.

Kate: You're not going to stop loving her, are you?

John: I just feel that we belong together.

Shawn D.: All right, Belle, why don't you come over here and sit down, okay? And I will go get Philip.

Belle: No, just let him sleep. There's nothing he can do. Thank you so much for giving blood for Claire.

Shawn D.: Yeah, yeah, of course. I'm her Godfather. Even if I wasn't, she's your daughter. I would do anything for her. Besides, she might be the closest thing I'll ever have to a biological child.

Belle: What do you mean?

Shawn D.: Well, you know, if things work out with Mimi -- she can't have kids.

Belle: You guys are that serious already?

Shawn D.: I don-- well, you never know.

Belle: [Clears throat] You know, when I see you with Claire or Zach, I see how good of a dad you're gonna be, and I know how much you want to be a father.

Shawn D.: Yeah, yeah, I do.

Belle: So, just promise me you'll take it slow.

Shawn D.: Why?

Belle: Because I care about you. Because we've always been friends.

Shawn D.: That will never change. We will always be friends. I will always care about you.

Belle: Thank you.

Shawn D.: You know, when this is over, you and Philip will have a beautiful baby daughter to raise.

Belle: If she makes it.

Shawn D.: She will. Hey...look at me. She is a fighter, okay? Just like her mother and her father. She is going to make it. You have to believe that, okay?

Belle: Oh. Lexie, how is she?

Lexie: She's still hemorrhaging. She's going to need more blood.

Shawn D.: What about the blood bank?

Lexie: The supplies are always very low, but around the holidays, even fewer people donate.

Belle: So, what happens if she doesn't get more? The truth.

Lexie: We'll lose her.

Austin: What are you looking at?

Sami: Austin, that sign. They're raffling off tickets to the rolling stones concert, and you love the stones.

Austin: Only all my life. Have you heard the new CD? It's awesome.

Rori: The raffle's part of my fund-raiser.

Sami: Really?

Austin: I'm gonna buy a slew of tickets.

Rori: Ah, it's for a good cause, and it's gonna be a great concert.

Austin: Well, in addition to buying a ton of tickets, I'm gonna write you a check for the hurricane victims so they can have a special Christmas.

Rori: Oh. On behalf of all of them, let me give you a special thank you.

Carrie: I'm sorry I ruined the evening.

Lucas: What are you talking about? You didn't ruin anything. This definitely beats the dessert at the restaurant. Trust me. So, uh, where were we?

Carrie: You were saying that you think you might have met someone special.

Lucas: Yeah, yeah, I think I have. Yeah, I don't mind settling down. I'm at that stage in my life. That "till death do us part" kind of thing does it for me.

Carrie: Sounds good.

Lucas: Yeah.

Carrie: Yeah, it sounds nice.

Lucas: What about you?

Carrie: We're friends, right, Lucas? I mean, good friends?

Lucas: Well, yeah, of course.

Carrie: Can I trust you to keep a secret?

Lucas: Come on, I stopped Titan's acquisition of Highstyle, didn't I? Yeah.

Carrie: Yeah.

Lucas: Uh-huh.

Carrie: I haven't dated anyone since mike because... well, for all these years, I still have feelings for Austin.

Lucas: You do?

Carrie: Ever since mike and I split up, I've been dreaming about Austin and me being back together. And when it seemed like you and Sami were gonna get married, I couldn't help but think that it might be smooth sailing for us, because if you and Sami and Will were a happy family, then there would be no reason for Sami to interfere in my love life..

Lucas: Yeah, well, now that's not gonna happen. It's over between me and Sami. I've been hurt too many times, Carrie.

Carrie: Yeah, I know that now. But I still...couldn't help but think that it might be possible for Austin and me to be happy, until tonight.

Lucas: Until you overheard Sami telling that ladies'-room attendant that she was still in love with Austin.

Carrie: And that she wants to get back with him. I don't know what I'm gonna do about my feelings for Austin because there's no way that I'm gonna get involved in another triangle with him and my sister. I can't deal with that. I wonít.

Lucas: I don't blame you. What if Sami and Austin end up getting together? Do you think you can forget about him? Start a life with somebody else?

Maggie: Excuse me. You told me Marlena decided to spend more time with Dr. North, but you didn't tell me that they were -- are -- married. She and North told me the whole ridiculous story.

Kate: Yes, well, it is unbelievable, but Alex produced a marriage license and blood tests, wedding photos.

John: That doesn't make her his wife.

Maggie: Exactly. Any more than putting the ring on Bonnie Lockhart's finger made her MickeysS. Oh, John, I know what you're going through. When I got back from being held prisoner on the DiMera island, well, it looked like I wasn't gonna get Mickey back, but I did. Just like you're gonna get Marlena back.

John: Yeah, well, she told me to move on, forget about everything that we had. No point in trying to change her mind. North never gives me a minute alone with her.

Maggie: Oh, he doesn't, does he? Well...why don't you go wait in the bar?

John: Why's that?

Maggie: Trust me. In the bar.

Kate: What are you planning to do?

Maggie: A little good, old-fashioned matchmaking.

Kate: Oh.

Maggie: Marlena, there was a phone call for you.

Marlena: From the hospital about the baby?

Maggie: I don't know. The bartender took the message.

Marlena: Alex, please excuse me.

Alex: I'll come with you.

Maggie: She may have amnesia, but she's perfectly capable of picking up a message. Besides, you haven't finished your appetizer. And trust me, you don't want your appetizer to get cold.

Alex: Hello, Kate.

Kate: Wow, a gentleman usually asks to be invited before sitting down.

Alex: My apologies. You are absolutely right. Hello, Kate. May I?

Kate: Oh, yes, you may.

Alex: Thank you. Despite what John has told you about me, I am not some horrible monster. I am merely in love with Marlena. And we both know that you're still in love with John.

Kate: Look, as long as John has a chance with Marlena, he's not gonna be interested in me or anyone else for that matter.

Marlena: Excuse me.

Bartender: How can I help you?

Marlena: Mrs. Horton said there was a message for me at the bar. I'm Marlena Evans-Black. I'm Marlena Evans-North.

Bartender: I haven't taken any messages for anybody.

Marlena: Well, there must be a different bartender, then.

John: It's just me.

Marlena: Oh. Well, she said -- I don't understand why she said --

John: There's no message. This was simply Maggie's way of getting the two of us alone together.

Marlena: Oh. I thought the hospital called. [Voice breaking] I thought something happened to the baby. [Sobbing]

Shawn D.: All right, all right, all right.

Belle: If -- if Claire needs more blood, then I will give her a pint or two or three. I don't care about your damn protocol.

Lexie: Okay, Belle, you're nursing. You recently gave birth. Your body has been through a lot of trauma. It's not safe for you to give blood. Claire needs her mother to be healthy.

Belle: I'm not gonna stand by and watch my child die.

Shawn D.: All right, I can donate again.

Lexie: Shawn, it's not safe for you, either. These rules exist for a reason, to protect your health.

Belle: I don't care about my health.

Lexie: Well, I do. You asked what would happen if we couldn't find more blood, Belle, and I told you. But we're not there yet. We're still giving Claire the pint that Shawn gave yesterday.

Shawn D.: But you just said that won't be enough.

Lexie: Right, but the blood bank is putting out calls to all the donors in the system who might be compatible.

Belle: Do you think that they can find a donor that way?

Lexie: Yes, yes, it is entirely possible. I'm gonna go and check and see how they're doing, all right? Now, listen, I know that you're upset, but I need you -- honey, Claire needs you to stay calm, strong, focused, okay? Good. All right, excuse me.

Belle: Wait, wait. What about my father or my mother or Philip's parents?

Lexie: If they've ever donated blood, their information will be in the system.

Belle: I've just never been this scared in my life. What if she dies?

Shawn D.: Hey, no, no, no. She is not going to, okay? She is not my daughter, but I couldn't love her any more if she was. And I swear to you, I will do whatever it takes to save her.

Alex: Kate, if you really love John, you have to stay focused and do whatever it takes to win him.

Kate: All I'm going to focus on right now is my son and his sick baby.

Kate: Philip doesn't have the right blood type to be Claire's father...but Shawn does... which means that Belle lied. She did sleep with him... which means Shawn is the baby's father.

Kate: I'm gonna do everything I can to keep that baby alive... and to keep Belle and Philip together.

Shawn D.: I promise you, I will not let you lose your daughter.

Nurse: Has the blood bank had any luck?

Lexie: No. We are running out of options.

Belle: What do you mean they can't find anyone to give blood?

Lexie: Like I said, the holidays are a difficult time.

Shawn D.: Then you'll have to take my blood.

Belle: And mine.

Lexie: There is no way that I or the hospital will allow that.

Shawn D.: The hospital isn't giving us any alternatives.

Belle: Shawn's right. We have to do something.

Lexie: Getting yourselves all worked up isn't going to help.

Belle: You know, you keep saying that, and everything just keeps getting worse and worse. Lexie, what if it was Theo in there?

Lexie: Belle, honey, we have emergency calls out to every hospital and blood bank in a 50-mile radius. We are going to find more blood. It's just going to take time. Right now, we're working on controlling the hemorrhaging, because if we can't do that, it won't matter how much blood we get. Honey, you might want to say some prayers. I promise I'll keep you up-to-date with any new developments.

Belle: She's gonna die.

Shawn D.: No, no, no. She is not. I promise you. Listen, why don't you take Lexie's advice and go to the chapel? I will take care of Claire getting that blood.

Belle: How?

Shawn D.: Don't worry about it, okay? Just go.

Belle: No.

Shawn D.: I will take care of it. It'll be fine, okay? Come on. Hi, Dr. Carver sent me over. I'm Shawn Brady. I'm donating blood for Claire Kiriakis.

Nurse: You gave blood yesterday.

Shawn D.: No, actually, I offered, but Dr. Carver says since I'd be waiting around the hospital today, that she would wait until the absolute last possible moment to do it, which is now.

Nurse: But the records say --

Shawn D.: I know. They probably entered me into the system after I had offered. Look, Dr. Carver was very adamant. There is no time to waste.

Nurse: You're doing a wonderful thing.

Shawn D.: Thanks.

Carrie: If Austin and Sami got back together and if I believe that it was really serious, then...I wouldn't come between them. I'd move on with my life.

Lucas: Even though you still have feelings for Austin? After everything Sami's done to you, you'd still do that?

Carrie: Because of everything Sami did to me and because of my feelings for Austin, I know what it's like to have someone try and destroy your happiness. I would never do to Sami what she did to me.

Lucas: That's why you're such a great person, and Sami's...

Carrie: Sami.

Lucas: Yeah.

Carrie: But, really, I can't imagine that Austin would ever fall for Sami again, not after the hell she put him through.

Lucas: I didn't think I would, but I did.

Carrie: She drugged him to get him to sleep with her. She changed the hospital files so he would think that he was Will's father. I know Austin. He might be able to forgive Sami, but he's not gonna take her back, no matter what she thinks.

Lucas: You know, Carrie, stranger things have happened.

Carrie: You're right. I've got to find out how he feels about her before I drive myself crazy, fantasizing about a future with him.

Lucas: We just spent the whole night dodging the guy so you don't have to see him or talk to him.

Carrie: I know, but...

Lucas: Carrie, I think you're a little overloaded tonight, so why don't we forget about Sami, forget about Austin? Why don't I take you home, okay?

Carrie: That sounds good.

Lucas: All right, come on.

Carrie: [Gasps] Oh.

Lucas: What? What's wrong, what's wrong?

Carrie: I had a file. It's confidential Highstyle papers. I left it on the table.

Lucas: I'll get it for you.

Carrie: No, I'll do it.

Lucas: What's the matter? You don't trust me?

Carrie: You promised that Titan wouldn't take over Highstyle, and I believe you. I know what I'm looking for, you donít.

Lucas: Why's the file so important?

Carrie: It's my 5-year business plan. And if it falls into the wrong hands, I'm in big trouble.

Lucas: Well, hurry up. Sami's like a magnet when it comes to misplaced confidential information. Go! Man. Nobody's hands are stickier than Sami's.

Austin: I need your help.

Sami: Yeah, right.

Austin: No, I'm serious. This is important.

Sami: Get your friend Rori to do it.

Austin: Trust me, Rori cannot help me with this. Listen, it has to be you.

Sami: Austin, what are you doing?

Austin: This is a very important moment for us.

Sami: That's the biggest sprig of mistletoe that I've ever seen.

Austin: And it calls for the biggest kiss of your life.

Carrie: Austin.

Carrie: How could I have been so wrong?

Sami: Wow, Austin. That wasn't just the biggest kiss I've ever had. It was the best.

Rori: Well done.

Austin: Yeah?

Sami: What's going on?

Rori: What's happening? What's going on is the two of you are the winners of the Christmas kiss for Katrina contest.

Austin: All right!

Sami: The what?

Austin: Good job!

Rori: Another part of tonight's fund-raiser. Your check is going to go a long way towards giving those displaced hurricane victims a Merry, Merry, Merry Christmas.

Austin: That's awesome.

Sami: So, it wasn't a real kiss. It was for charity.

Austin: What could be more real than giving the needy a great Christmas?

Sami: Absolutely nothing.

Austin: Exactly. So, who do I sign the check out to?

Rori: Oh, come right with me and I will tell you.

Sami: I don't care what you say, Austin. That was a real kiss. I mean, you would never lead me on that way, and I know it. So now I know for sure. I am going to become the next Mrs. Austin Reed... permanently this time.

Lucas: Hey. Did you see Sami? Did she -- did she say something?

Carrie: No. Uh, I saw her. She didn't see me. She and Austin were kissing. And it wasn't a friendly peck on the cheek. [Voice breaking] It was serious.

Lucas: I'm sorry, Carrie. I'm sorry, come here. Come on, don't cry. Let's get out of here. Let's get your mind off this.

Carrie: Thanks, Lucas. I could really use a good friend right now.

Lucas: I'll be there for you. I always will be. Come on.

Alex: I'd think you'd be rooting for Marlena to stay with me.

Kate: Maybe I am. But I'm also a realist, and I know that John's not going to let anyone come between him and Marlena.

Maggie: I did good.

Marlena: [Sobbing] Why would she do that to us? Wouldn't she know how much that would scare us?

John: Well, I think she knew I wanted some time to remind you of...some old memories.

Marlena: We've been through all that.

Belle: Lexie.

Lexie: Belle, oh, you're here, good.

Belle: Yeah, I took your advice, went to the chapel. Something changed?

Lexie: Yeah, only, I'm afraid, it's not for the better.

Belle: Oh, my God. Where's Shawn?

Lexie: I don't know.

Belle: I need him!

Nurse: Just lie back and relax.

Shawn D.: You know, actually, I almost forgot. Dr. Carver wanted me to tell you that because it's an emergency, you can make an exception to protocol and take two pints instead of one.

Nurse: Are you sure?

Shawn D.: Yes, positive. It's just because it's an emergency. I would give every last drop of blood if it'll save Belle's baby.

Bo: Well, if Mrs. H. is so sure about Shawn and Belle, maybe they are meant to be together. Mm-hmm.

Belle: Shawn, are you okay?! Shawn?

Bonnie: Now you're finally gonna find happiness with Shawn. Even Max is sure.

Alex: You son of a bitch!

Marlena: No, Alex. No no no, please stop. Don't, donít.
