[Door opens]

Shawn D.: What's wrong?

Belle: Please, I don't want you to see me like this.

Shawn D.: I'm not gonna just leave you up here when you're this upset. Something happen between you and Philip? I-is the baby -- is she all right?

Belle: She's fine. Philip's with her.

Shawn D.: Does he know that you're up here?

Belle: No. He thinks I'm sleeping.

Shawn D.: Okay, well, I'm gonna go get him.

Belle: No, donít.

Shawn D.: Listen, whatever is wrong, he should know so he --

Belle: Stop. Please don't go, okay? I don't want Philip. I want you.

Lucas: See ya, bar. Man.

Sophie: Calling it a night, huh?

Lucas: Oh, yeah.

Sophie: Me too.

Lucas: You know, I really enjoyed working with you. I did -- it wasn't that long, but it was real fun.

Sophie: I like working with you too.

Lucas: Oh, good.

Sophie: And I hope your new job is awesome.

Lucas: Yeah, it will be. It will be, even though I was second choice.

Sophie: Hey. Don't think of it like that. I know Mr. Kiriakis offered the job to your brother first, but you're gonna make the most of the opportunity.

Lucas: Yeah, you're right. You know what? I am. I know you're right.

Sophie: And you can see how psyched you are... unlike your brother. He didn't seem the least bit interested.

Lucas: No, 'cause he doesn't need the job like I do. But I am psyched. You're right about that. And I'm gonna prove myself -- prove myself to Victor and everybody else at Titan that I can run that place better than Austin ever could.

Sophie: Well, it's gonna be a lot different from this place.

Lucas: Yeah, it is. Still, this place came at a real good time for me, so it was nice.

Sophie: You're gonna be great, Lucas. I'm sure of it.

Lucas: I'll try my best. That I know. But thanks -- thanks for the vote of confidence. It means a lot.

Sophie: I know you said that you're not ready to get involved with anyone, and that's fine by me, but, um, what do you say we go somewhere and celebrate your new job?

Lucas: I say yes. I'd like that. You're on.

Sophie: Great.

Lucas: Cool.

Roman: John!

John: Trying to turn my wife against me -- you're never gonna pull it off.

Alex: It's very late, Mr. Black. Why are you here?

John: It's my house. The question is, what were you doing climbing in my wife's bedroom window?

Alex: What?!

Marlena: What is he talking about?

Alex: I have no idea, but I can assure you I did no such thing.

John: The hell you didnít. I saw you. You were on the terrace right outside her bedroom.

Marlena: You saw him? What?

Alex: You're out of your mind. I retired early, shortly after Marlena went up to bed.

John: Yeah, and then you climbed out the guest-bedroom window, you inched along the ledge, got on the terrace, went right in that door.

Alex: That's ludicrous. She was in her room. I was in mine. And I don't appreciate being made out to be some sort of sexual predator. Commander, I don't know why you're here, but since you are, I want to press charges against Mr. Black for slander and harassment. I am fed up with his unfounded jealousy. The man is obviously paranoid. He's accusing me of harming Marlena, when all I am doing, day in and day out, is trying to save her.

John: Yeah, especially at night.

Roman: All right, just calm down here, all right? Now, listen, Dr. North.. I know John. He wouldn't be here if he didn't think Marlena was in danger.

Alex: I don't care what he thought. He's wrong.

John: The hell I am.

Roman: All right. I've heard from you. I've heard from Dr. North. Who I haven't heard from is you, Doc. Now, tell us, how do you feel about this? Has he been coming on to you? Have you felt threatened by him?

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of Our Lives.

Shawn D.: Why do you want me up here? Philip is your husband. He should know where you are.

Belle: There's nothing he can do. And he'll just freak out if he knows I'm up here.

Shawn D.: He's gonna freak out when he goes upstairs and realizes that his wife is nowhere around.

Belle: I just need to pull myself together.

Shawn D.: Do you think maybe we should call Lexie? I mean, maybe this is that postpartum depression thing, okay? Why else would you be up here just crying?

Belle: I don't know, okay? I don't know what's wrong with me. I couldn't sleep. I -- I was just lying there, and I was thinking, and I just started to feel really anxious and like I was suffocating. I just needed to get some air.

Shawn D.: You want to talk about it?

Belle: I just feel... strange... [Sniffles] Like it's not me in my own body. I can't explain it. It's just like my whole life has just been this act. It's just all a lie.

Marlena: I don't understand why you're all here.

Alex: The poor woman was awakened from a sound sleep. She's still groggy..

John: Why don't you let her answer the question?

Roman: Yeah. Doc, have you felt threatened by Dr. North at any time?

Sami: Mom, has this man hurt you?

Marlena: No. No, he's my doctor.

John: I'm telling you, I know what I saw. He climbed in your bedroom window from the terrace.

Marlena: How did you happen to see all this?

John: With my field glasses.

Alex: You've been spying on us? All right, that's it. I want all of you out of here, right now.

John: I want you out of here. This is my house, and that's my wife.

Alex: She won't be your wife much longer.

Sami: Wait, wait. What do you mean by that?

Marlena: I have, uh, well, I'm going to file for divorce.

Sami: Oh, g-- oh, I've prayed for this to happen for so long.

John: The reason she thinks she wants a divorce is because the unethical doctor is playing mind games with her.

Alex: "Unethical"? "Mind games"? Suddenly you're the expert on psychiatry.

Marlena: John, we've talked about this in the past.

John: It's like he's brainwashed her or something.

Alex: I don't have to listen to this.

John: I don't have to stand by while you practice voodoo or whatever the hell you're doing.

Alex: You're in serious denial. Do you know that? Your wife tells you that she wants a divorce, and automatically, you think it's somebody else's fault. You have never even considered the possibility that you're the one that's making her life so miserable.

John: You know, North, you want to bust me for harassment and slander? Let's throw in assault!

Roman: Hey!

Austin: John, John.

Roman: Come here. You're not helping.

John: Can't you see what's going on here? And Marlena just stands there. Look at her. Like the life is just sucked out of her. Is she acting anything like the woman that you married?

Roman: John, she hasn't been herself for months. Now, look, I know this guy's got you upset. But you can't let him get to you. You got to keep your cool.

John: [Breathing deeply]

Sami: Mom... mom, are you really gonna divorce John?

Marlena: I-I-I don't want to talk about it -- not now.

Sami: Well, I just want you to know that I think you're doing the right thing. I think this is really gonna help you.

Roman: All right. Kate, now, about Dr. North sneaking into Marlena's room...

Kate: I looked through the binoculars, too, and I didn't see anyone.

Roman: John, I'm sorry. Without more proof that Marlena's in danger, without more solid proof, there's not a damn thing I can do.

Sami: Dad, dad, listen to me. I think it's way past time for you to get John and this creepy doctor out of mom's life. Look, he's right. She's not acting like her normal self, and once she divorces John, you can help her recover. I know you can do it.

Roman: Sami, drop it, okay?

Sami: Dad, please listen to me. I know she needs your help, and you and mom belong together. I have thought that all along.

Roman: Austin, please, take Sami home.

Austin: It's a good idea.

Sami: No, I don't want to go, dad. I think --

Roman: You're not helping. Now go. Do you hear me?

Kate: Look, why don't we just call her a cab. I will gladly pay the fare..

Austin: Mom, no, I'm taking her home. Come on, let's go. Come on.

Kate: Look, I should really be going, too. I'll talk to you later.

[Door closes] Austin should not be staying with Sami. I have to find some way to get him out of her apartment and then have him fumigated.

John: All right, North. I want some answers.

Alex: I suggest you back off, Mr. Black. If you don't, I am going to court to get a restraining order against you.

Lucas: Wow. You -- you look real great.

Sophie: Thank you.

Lucas: Yeah.

Sophie: Um, so, uh, where do you want to go? The Cheatin' Heart? The bar at Chez Rouge?

Lucas: Well, I am a recovering alcoholic, remember?

Sophie: All right. Sorry.

Lucas: Yeah, it was kind of killing me to tend bar all night, so maybe we can just grab a cup of coffee or something.

Sophie: Yeah, that'd be great.

Lucas: Yeah? Java Cafť -- grab some coffee, walk down to the pier, maybe just hang out?

Sophie: That sounds perfect.

Lucas: Thanks for asking me out.

Sophie: You're welcome. Um, just so I'm clear, you know, this sort of feels like a date. Is it?

Lucas: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, I'd say it is.

Belle: I'm sorry. I know I shouldn't be complaining to you. I shouldn't be complaining at all. I'm the one who made these decisions. And if I'm unhappy, it's my own fault -- I know that.

Shawn D.: Are you really that unhappy?

Belle: Not all the time, no. Actually, I -- I'm overwhelmed with how happy I feel sometimes.

Shawn D.: Well, good. Good, because you are married to a man who worships you. And you have a beautiful baby daughter.

Belle: She's a blessing -- I know. I just feel really, um, helpless when I'm around her. I can't explain it. It's -- it's like I'm afraid of her.

Shawn D.: Afraid of what?

Belle: She just needs so much. And I don't know that I can give that to her.

Shawn D.: Do you remember when we took J.T. and we ran away because they were taking him away from my family? You knew exactly what to do with him then, and you still do. You -- you can't expect yourself to be perfect. No one can do that.

Belle: I am so far from perfect. I have no business being a mother if I can't take care of her. What if I screw her up for life?

Shawn D.: You're not gonna do that. She is lucky to have you as a mom and Philip as a father. Look, I -- I think this might be that postpartum depression thing, okay? But you have to know it's not you, it's not your fault -- you're gonna get through this as long as you get your treatment.

Belle: [Chuckles] I just have a really hard time believing that all of this, all of these scary thoughts and feelings, are because of the baby. I just wish I could talk to my mom about everything. [Sniffles]

Shawn D.: Yeah, I know you do. I'm sorry that you're going through this now.

Belle: I just feel like I don't know who I am anymore. [Sniffs] I used to be so happy. I loved life. I felt so lucky. But I look at the world that I brought my daughter into, and all I see is crime and disease, poverty everywhere. I used to look so forward to getting up every morning, and now I dread it.

Shawn D.: All right, you know, um, don't you think that you should be talking to Philip about this and not me?

Belle: He's still recovering. I don't want him to think that this is his fault. I just wish things could be the way they used to be. When you and I were together, everything just seemed so simple. Life was perfect. Wasn't it?

Austin: Sami, will you slow down?

Sami: I cannot believe that my dad kicked me out. My mom really needs me..

Austin: Listen to me. Your parents can take care of themselves. Okay? John, too. They don't need you interfering in their life.

Sami: I'm not interfering. We're talking about my mother.

Austin: For someone who hates it when people interfere in your life, you sure don't give the same consideration to others. Listen to me. Okay, wait. There is another thing. When we left your mom's place, something's been bothering me.

Sami: Oh, what? What did I do now?

Austin: No, it's not you. It's Dr. North.

Sami: What about him?

Austin: I don't know. Did he seem nervous to you?

Sami: May-- maybe. I wasn't really paying attention to him.

Austin: Okay, well, I was. And he seemed like he was being very...territorial with your mother. Do you notice that?

Sami: Look, I think he's really creepy, but if he's the reason that my mom figured out that she wants to divorce John, well, then, obviously he's helping her.

Austin: Well, not necessarily, Sami.

Sami: Look, my mom and dad belong together, Austin. So if Dr. North is gonna make that happen, then he is okay with me.

Kate: Well, then you're a fool, because Dr. North does not want your mother reunited with Roman.

Sami: What the hell are you doing here? How did she get in here?

Kate: He's not trying to help her remember. He's trying to erase the few memories that she has left.

Sami: What are you talking about?

Kate: He's a phony, Sami. And if he has his way, when he gets through with her, she won't remember who you or your father even are.

John: Think you can get a restraining order to keep me out of my house and away from my wife, you go for it, pal. I'll see you in court. Won't have a hard time picking me out -- I will have nine lawyers by my side.

Alex: Well, I certainly hope at least one of them is a divorce lawyer, because that's what's coming next.

Roman: John, damn it! John!

John: I came here to get him off the premises, Roman. That's what I'm gonna do.

Roman: You listen to me, all right? Attacking this guy is not gonna help your case, and it's only gonna upset Marlena.

Marlena: I'm already upset. I think it's time that both of you just left..

John: I don't think so.

Marlena: Please, look, it's late. We're all exhausted.

John: You'll get plenty of rest, once I get this freak out of your life.

Alex: "Freak." You know what? You need a psychiatrist. Coming over here in the middle of the night, pounding on the door, forcing your way in here -- you're behaving like a madman.

Marlena: John, if you can't be civil, I'd like you to go, please.

Alex: Yes, that's exactly why I'm going to get that restraining order. You are upsetting my patient. I can't allow this to continue.

John: You can't stop me from seeing my wife.

Alex: I can, and I will. As her doctor, it's my duty to protect her.

John: [Scoffs] What she needs is protection from you, pal.

Alex: These desperate attempts have got to stop. You're trying to force your way back into her life. Now I can understand why she's so uncomfortable around you. You were an abusive husband, weren't you?

John: I have never abused her in any way, shape, or form, and you know it.

Alex: I have been trying to help Marlena regain her past. Now I'm starting to think this abusive behavior is the reason why she canít.

John: "Abusive behavior." What you are trying to do is reinvent a past for her -- a past that never existed. Just talk to me, please. Talk to me. And you listen to me. When I took a vow to love, honor, and protect you, it wasn't just in the good times. It was in the bad times, sickness, health, till death do us part. That's what I said on my wedding day, and I never broke those vows all these years. I'm not about to do it now.

Marlena: John --

John: You remember that, don't you? You remember me, don't you? You remember when you first met me and I didn't know who I was. And you tried to help me find my identity. And even though I never got my memory back, you tried to help me deal with that. You made me the person that I am today... the person that you fell in love with, the person that you married, the person that you had a child with. And through the years our love has been tested time and time again, and we always came out on top, so when we stood up in front of god and pledged to love each other, those were not hollow words for me. I meant every one of them. And I still do.

Marlena: I don't know why... but I believe you. It's true, isn't it? It's true. Everything you said -- every word -- it's true.

Lucas: I felt like a senior citizen in that place.

Sophie: [Laughs] Me too. At night, Java turns into kind of a teen scene. Best coffee in town, though.

Lucas: Yeah, it is good. Great food, too. Sami and I used to take will there all the time. Sorry. I keep doing that, don't I? Bringing up my ex-fiancť -- not too smart, huh, Lucas?

Sophie: No, it's okay. I understand.

Lucas: Yeah, it's not too cool, though -- not when you're on a date.

Sophie: Your breakup just happened, Lucas. You were about to marry her. Give yourself some time.

Lucas: Yeah.

Sophie: And believe it or not, I know what it's like.

Lucas: Yeah?

Sophie: Yeah. Once upon a time, I was engaged, too.

Lucas: Really? Come on, it couldn't have been that long ago.

Sophie: [Laughs] I was young. And I was definitely naive.

Lucas: I see.

Sophie: Mm-hmm. [Chuckles]

Lucas: What happened?

Sophie: Uh, he was a really handsome guy, an amazing family. Great athlete. I had good taste. But I also had poor judgment.

Lucas: All right, meaning...

Sophie: Meaning... on the day of our wedding, I caught him with one of my bridesmaids.

Lucas: Oh, that must have hurt.

Sophie: Yeah. Well, it did, at first.

Lucas: I'm sorry. Sophie, I'm really sorry about that.

Sophie: You know, I just realized that I was lucky, you know, that I found out before I got married.

Lucas: Right, yeah.

Sophie: And afterwards, he -- he apologized like crazy and begged me to take him back and, you know.

Lucas: Yeah. Were you tempted?

Sophie: I loved the guy, so, yeah, I was tempted.

Lucas: Yeah.

Sophie: But I'm not stupid. No, I realized that if he was gonna betray me once, he was gonna do it again, so, um, I decided to do myself a favor and not give him the chance.

Lucas: Good. Good for you.

Sophie: So, uh, what happened with Sami and you, if you don't mind my asking?

Lucas: Uh... let's just say Sami has trouble telling the truth. You know, to put it mildly, I couldn't live my life that way.

Sophie: You think that you would ever give her another chance?

Lucas: No. No, I donít. I think Sami and I are really through this time.

Sami: What do you know about Dr. North and his methods for helping my mom? Obviously it's working. She's decided to divorce John.

Kate: And you think that's a super idea, don't you? Well, of course you would.

Sami: Yeah, because it means my mom and dad can get back together.

Kate: Sami, dream on.

Sami: Oh, you're just upset because it proves that my father is totally over you.

Kate: Sami, your father has absolutely nothing to do with this, believe me. I have been around Dr. North long enough to know that he's up to something.

Sami: What?

Kate: And what he's trying to do is break up your mother and John.

Sami: Obviously that's a good thing, because he realizes that John is no good for my mom.

Kate: Sami, he has an agenda. Do you want to know what he said to me?

Sami: What?

Kate: He told me that pretty soon, I'll be able to pick between Roman and John.

Sami: I don't get it.

Kate: Let me make this just a little bit clearer for you. Dr. North wants more than a patient-doctor relationship with your mother.

Sami: No.

Kate: Yes.

Sami: What are y-- so you're saying y--

Austin: That's what I was trying to tell you, Sami, is that when we were over at your mom's it was like Dr. North had cast a spell on her or something.

Sami: What, you mean like you think he's brainwashing her?

Kate: John thinks that Dr. North is using hypnosis on her.

Sami: I didn't know that.

Kate: Look, Sami, he's living with your mother at the penthouse. He got rid of John. He's now there with her alone. And there's no one there to protect her.

Sami: Oh, my God.

Austin: Where are you going?

Sami: I have to go warn my dad!

Sami: Roman and John already know, Sami. They don't have any proof, though. Their hands are tied.

Sami: So, what? I just have to sit here and do nothing? You'd like that, wouldn't you?

Kate: What?

Sami: You are thrilled with the idea of my mom turning into some kind of zombie, aren't you?

Kate: That is ridiculous. She's my friend. I want her to recover as much as everyone else does.

Sami: When will you stop lying?

Austin: Will you two knock it off?

Sami: You have no idea what she's been up to since you left town... how your wonderful friendship with my mom turned into nothing when she was being held prisoner by Tony DiMera.

Kate: What are you talking about, Sami?

Sami: I think we should tell Austin how many weeks you waited after my mom was presumed dead before you started seducing John, how Stefano's whore decided to go after her best friend's husband.

Kate: Oh, you bitch!

Shawn D.: You and me -- talking about a long time ago. I think we were too young and naive to realize that life was never that simple.

Belle: Maybe you're right.

Shawn D.: But what you and I had was great. But it's over. You were the one to make me see that. But look -- you have an awesome husband now. And you have a beautiful baby daughter, and she is gorgeous.

Belle: [Chuckles]

Shawn D.: You've got a lot to look forward to.

Belle: Like you and Mimi.

Shawn D.: Why would you say that?

Belle: I see how close you're getting.

Shawn D.: Mimi and I have always been close. We've been friends forever. But I think I know what you're talking about. Yes, we've been having a lot of fun together lately.

Belle: So you're gonna make it more than that, right?

Shawn D.: Hey, you know what? Who knows what is down the road for us, but we're not talking about me here. We're talking about you. And you need to get back downstairs.. You need to crawl in your bed so you can get some rest.

Belle: Why are you avoiding me?

Shawn D.: I'm not avoiding you. We've been talking up here --

Belle: No, I mean about Mimi. Why don't you want to talk about it?

Shawn D.: There's nothing more to say.

Belle: Shawn...don't you want to get married and have kids someday?

Shawn D.: Of course I do. I want everything Philip has. Everything.

John: Something's coming back to you, isn't it?

Alex: She doesn't remember anything -- can't you see that?

John: You stay out of this.

Alex: Once again, you are trying to force-feed her your memories. They're not hers.

Roman: You heard John. Keep out of this. Let Marlena speak for herself.

Alex: He's only making things worse.

John: The hell I am. She's starting to remember something -- what is it? What were you remembering?

Marlena: John, you need to stop pushing me. Alex is here to help me, but you're not.

John: Something was coming back to you. I could see it in your eyes.

Marlena: You both need to go now. You both need to go because it's been a very exhausting day.

Alex: I agree. It's very important that Marlena get enough rest. I'm going to have to ask you to leave.

Roman: You know what, John? Let's go. To be continued.

John: No, Roman, not yet. Not until I talk to Marlena in private.

Alex: You've already caused enough trouble for one night.

John: I want to hear it from Doc. Come on, talk to me. This won't take long. In fact, I think it's only gonna take about a minute.

Lucas: Here it is -- 34.

Sophie: I really appreciate you letting me crash here tonight.

Lucas: Oh, it's fine. I just -- I hope your apartment's okay.

Sophie: My landlady said all the apartments on my line suffered water damage.

Lucas: Ah, broken pipe, huh?

Sophie: Yeah, on the sixth floor. I'm on three. It's an old building. Charm galore with high ceilings, original molding...

Lucas: And outdated plumbing.

Sophie: Ugh. You can't have everything, right?

Lucas: I guess you canít. It's nice of your landlord to call and warn you about it, though.

Sophie: Yeah. And she said the plumber and his crew are there now. I should be able to get back in tomorrow.

Lucas: Okay.

Sophie: Are you sure it's okay that I crash here tonight?

Lucas: No, no, it's fine. It's fine, really. My son's staying at a friend's house tonight, so we have the whole place to ourselves.

Sophie: Oh, thanks. You're a lifesaver. Oh.

Lucas: No problem. There we go. There you go. It's, uh, it's not much, but it's mine.

Sophie: Are you kidding? This is great.

Lucas: Yeah.

Sophie: But are you moving?

Lucas: Uh, I was. Will and I were gonna move in with Sami. She just lives down the hall.

Sophie: That's a bummer.

Lucas: I'm sorry?

Sophie: Oh. I just meant that you broke up and you still live so close to her. I guess you run into her all the time.

Lucas: Yeah, you could say that -- more times than I'd like, actually. I used to think it was great that Will had his mom so close. But I don't know. Now I don't know.

Sophie: I think maybe it's time I make good on my big talk.

Lucas: Your big talk?

Sophie: I told you I'd help you forget all about Sami. Remember?

Sami: You little... I can't believe this. Austin, you're holding me back?! She hit me.

Austin: She shouldn't have done that.

Kate: After what she said to me?

Austin: Mom, you overreacted. Listen to me. Listen to me. You are not innocent in this, either.

Sami: What?

Austin: Look, what you said to her was horrible.

Sami: I can't believe this. You are gonna def-- fine, you know what? I have bigger things to worry about. I have to protect my mother.

Kate: Oh, right. You're so busy calling everyone names that you don't even realize that we're all concerned, Sami.

Sami: I am not gonna lose my mother again -- I'm not.

Austin: Where are you going?

Sami: I'm gonna go see my son.

Lucas: All right. Hold your horses.

Lucas: Sami, what are you doing here?

Sami: I just came to see Will.

Lucas: Yeah, well, that's not gonna happen, all right?

...Drenched with tears

Belle: You said that you want what Philip has?

Shawn D.: I do.

Belle: Are you -- are you saying that you want me?

Shawn D.: What I m-meant, what I was trying to say is... that someday I would like to have a wife of my own -- someone who I will love and will love me and will love kids as much as I do, and hopefully when they want to raise a family, just like you and Philip.

Belle: I want that for you, too. I wasn't [Chuckles] Literally saying that you wanted me. I -- I wasn't assuming.

Shawn D.: You know how much I wanted to have a life with you. That's not a secret. But I have finally accepted that it wasn't meant to be. You have a husband and a beautiful daughter. That changes things.

Belle: [Voice breaking] I know.

Shawn D.: It's -- it's like you told me.

Belle: What?

Shawn D.: Philip is your future. What you and I had -- it's in the past. We have to put it there and... move on.

Belle: You're right. I know.

Shawn D.: In time.

Belle: [Sniffles]

Austin: Sometimes Sami gets carried away -- she says things without thinking. It gets her into trouble.

Kate: Or she gets her face slapped.

Austin: You really didn't need to do that.

Kate: I know, but it felt good -- it felt really good.

Austin: All I'm saying is that deep down, for all her --

Kate: Would you just forget deep down? You could dig all the way to China, and Sami is still gonna be Sami, Austin.

Austin: Well, she's had a lot of tough luck in her life. Admittedly, a lot has been brought on by herself.

Kate: Oh, my God. Could you stop apologizing for her and defending her? You're gonna get pulled into her web all over again.

Austin: It's not gonna happen.

Kate: How do I know it hasn't already happened?

Austin: I broke up with her. Remember?

Kate: Yes. You did. You left her at the altar. But only after you had fallen for her lies countless times.

Austin: I am never gonna make that mistake again. I am in a different place now.

Kate: Are you? I mean, it looks to me like you're right here in Sami's apartment. This is the place where she brings her male victims, right? Right before she moves in for the kill.

Austin: You know, you just don't let up, do you?

Kate: No, I donít. Not when it's my son. I don't want you to even waste a second of your life on her.

Austin: Sami needs me.

Kate: She needs you? She needs you for what, sex?

Austin: To help her become the person that I know she can become. Okay?

Kate: Austin, Austin. As soon as she lost Lucas, what does she do? She comes lusting after you. Doesn't that tell you something?

Austin: Mom, I love you very much. But I have heard enough.

Sami: Lucas, come on. Just let me in.

Lucas: No, I said no, all right?

Sami: Look, you can't keep me from my son. I just want to see Will.

Lucas: You know what? He doesn't want to see you, Sami. He's hurt. He's upset. You've burnt too many bridges around here. Stop it.

Sami: I love my son, and I don't care what he says or what you say he says. I know that Will loves me. Now, let me in. Damn it.

Lucas: Listen to me. Listen to me. He's not here, all right?

Sami: Then why didn't you just say so. Where is he?

Lucas: He's spending the night at Arthur's tonight.

Sami: Then why are you acting so weird?

Not enough for him

Sami: Oh, my God. You have a woman in there? That's right, isn't it?

Lucas: Good night, Sami.

And they're full of tears

oh, everybody be talking about it

everybody be walking down it

yeah, but I found out...

Sami: [Sobs]

Oh, yes, I do

oh, the streets of love

yeah, they're drenched with they're drenched in tears

Marlena: John, I'm -- I'm worn out. Can't we do this tomorrow?

John: No, we're gonna do this right now because you're starting to remember, and I think if we talk a little bit more --

Marlena: I don't know what else there is to say.

John: Anything and everything -- us, our past, your past. You just start talking, I'm sure things are gonna start coming back.

Marlena: I'm sorry. There's nothing more to talk about. Good night.

John: What the hell? I don't get this. What's going on here? One minute it's like you want to remember, and the next minute you just shut it down.

Roman: Look, John, I'll tell you what -- let's go, okay? Come on. Tomorrow's another day. Let's go.

John: [Inhales deeply] If you think for a minute this is over... I'm watching you, pal.

Alex: Well, you go ahead and watch. Once I get that restraining order, it will have to be from quite a distance. You won't be able to come anywhere near Marlena or me.

John: I don't believe that guy. If he thinks a restraining order is gonna keep me from her, he doesn't know John Black.

Alex: That was a close call. For a moment there, I was afraid I'd lost you. That's why it's important that we destroy the few memories you have of John Black. This time...for good.

Bo: That doesn't sound like Abby.

Hope: Why was she so upset?

Jack: Something I said.

Bo: What?

Jack: That I was dying.

Kate: That doesn't leave you very many options, now, does it?

John: I could kidnap her.

Patrick: That and the fact that you are smart, beautiful, and extremely sexy.
