Hope: I'd forgotten what it was like to make love in a boat in open waters.

Bo: Almost like doing it on the world's biggest waterbed, huh?

Hope: I knew you were gonna say that. I keep thinking about the two of us on the Fancy Face when Shawn D. Was just a little guy crawling around the galley, huh? Those were some really great times.

Bo: They were. We were starry-eyed lovers. We didn't know where we were going half the time.

Hope: I know. I don't think it even seemed to matter what direction we were headed. It was almost like something was guiding us to all those exotic, romantic ports, wasn't it?

Bo: Mm-hmm. And if the port wasn't so romantic and exotic when we arrived, sure as heck was when we left.

Hope: [Laughs]

Bo: Sorry to break the mood, but I've gotta check. I'm sorry this romantic getaway turned into something else. Got a feeling the port we're headed to isn't gonna be so romantic. It'll probably be dangerous.

Hope: Hey... we're not letting DiMera win. We're gonna solve this stupid riddle. And once we do, we're gonna find him and bring him to justice.

Bo: We have to. Ma and Victor, possibly my daughter -- their lives depend on it. If we have to trade that scum's life for any of theirs, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Let's forget about that.

Chelsea: Patrick, this is so awesome. I'm so glad we won that dance contest at Alice's.

Patrick: Yeah, except everyone thinks my mom picked us because I'm her son.

Chelsea: Everyone else is a loser. We were the best.

Patrick: Yeah, I guess we were.

Chelsea: Damn straight. I'm so gonna enjoy every single second of this. I've never won anything in my entire life, and now, thanks to you, I have a brand-new car.

Patrick: I'm happy for you, Chelsea. But, unless you learn how to drive a stick shift, this car's not gonna do you much good.

Chelsea: You're right. Okay, I'm ready. What do I do first -- start the engine, right?

Patrick: No, no, you got a few things to learn first. All right, you got three pedals down there. You see them? The one all the way on the left is the clutch. The one in the middle is the break. The rectangular one is your gas pedal.

Chelsea: Patrick, I know which one's the gas pedal.

Patrick: Okay, okay, I'm just checking. All right, with your left foot, push down the clutch and start the car.

[Engine turns over]

Patrick: That's good. With your left foot, keep the clutch down. Then, with your right foot, just hit the gas a little bit -- just rev the engine a little bit.

[Engine revs]

Patrick: That's good. Okay, now, very slowly, put the car into first gear.

Chelsea: First is where?

Patrick: Straight up.

Chelsea: Now what?

Patrick: Now, very slowly, let the clutch out.

Patrick: [Shouting]

Billie: Well, thank you for a very fun evening at Alice's.

Max: I had a good time, too. Oh, I think the only reason you went out with me tonight was to vet me.

Billie: You're right. But, then again, how else do two people really get to know each other?

Max: So what's your verdict?

Billie: Well, let's see. Other than being an okay dancer and extremely flirtatious, I really didn't learn anything at all.

Max: Are you saying I'm shallow?

Billie: I don't know -- are you?

Max: How about we go inside and I'll bear it all for you?

Billie: Oh, I don't think so. I mean, after all, it is such a beautiful evening. I say we stay out here. What do you say? Care to tell me your life story?

Max: Why not? I got nothing to hide.

Billie: Good. I'll get us a couple of lemonades.

Max: Lemonade -- do you have anything stronger, maybe?

Billie: I don't drink.

Max: I do.

Billie: Well, not tonight.

[Water splashes]

Max:'s perfect. As soon as you get back with those lemonades, you should come on in.

Roman: Kate, you know what? I can't believe that you think that I would rather be with Marlena than you. That could not be further from the truth.

Kate: I don't know about that. I've seen the way that you look at her. She's the love of your life, Roman.

Roman: Kate, she's the mother of my children. A part of me will always love her. But you are the one I wanted to come home to.

Kate: [Scoffs] I think that was true once, and maybe you want to believe that now, but I think if you really meant what you said, then you would have thought twice before taking your ex-wife to bed.

Mimi: If you gave a damn about me or what I was going through, you would have supported me, not berated me at the top of your lungs for Rex and everyone else in the world to hear.

Belle: Mimi, I didn't mean for Rex to --

Mimi: Oh, shut up! Shut up! I don't want to hear your excuses. You always have an excuse, don't you, miss perfect Belle? Nothing is ever your fault, is it? Well, this is. But you're so selfish, you can't even see it.

Belle: I'm selfish? Uh, if anyone here is selfish, Mimi, it's you. If you would have told Rex the truth a long time ago, maybe he wouldn't have left you.

Mimi: How dare you say that?! You, of all people! You're the reason I lost Rex, and I will never forgive you, Belle -- never!

Shawn D.: Whoa, whoa, Mimi, Mimi. Come on, calm down.

Philip: What in the hell are you doing? What could Belle have done to make Rex walk out on you?

Mimi: Why don't you tell him? You want the whole world to know, right?

Belle: That is not true, and you know it. I never meant for Rex to hear what I said.

Mimi: Whatever! Of course you did. I told you he was right outside. If he had heard it from me, then maybe he would have forgiven me.

Belle: He was never gonna hear it from you, was he?

Mimi: That was my business, Belle, not yours, not anyone else's.

Philip: What are you talking about?

Mimi: Well, I might as well tell you before Belle does. The reason Rex left me is because he overheard Belle say that I was pregnant.

Philip: Wh-- and Rex thought you were gonna have a baby, and he left you?

Mimi: No, just listen. I was pregnant. But then I had an abortion. And now I need you to help me talk to Rex and make him understand that I love him so much, and I cannot lose him.

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of Our Lives.

Philip: Mimi, I don't know what to say. I haven't talked to Rex. But I'm sorry you had to go through this by yourself. It must have been very hard.

Mimi: It was the hardest choice I ever made in my life. And I asked Belle to be there for me, but she wouldn’t. So I went to the clinic alone... and from that second on, she judged me, because, after all, we all know Belle's perfect.

Belle: Mimi, I never judged you. And of course I'm not perfect.

Mimi: You think I deserve to lose Rex. Admit it.

Belle: I think you would have lost Rex no matter what because your relationship was based on a lie.

Mimi: How dare you?! How dare you?!

Philip: Mimi, calm down. I want to talk to you for a minute alone. Just give us a minute, okay? I just want to calm her down. Just a minute, okay? Mimi, come sit down. Come here. Now, look, I'm very sorry that you and Rex are going through this. I'm just surprised because I thought your relationship was really strong.

Mimi: It was, until be-- sorry. I realize she's your wife and you don't want to hear that, but it's true.

Philip: Don't apologize. I just want you to relax. All rex needs is a little time to process this, and then you two will be able to talk about it -- I promise.

Mimi: I know Rex, okay? I have never seen him like this before. And I know I asked you to help me talk to him, but I seriously doubt that he's ever going to give me another chance. Our love was based on trust, and I lied to him over and over. So now he hates me. There isn't anything I can do about it. I've lost him, Philip. I have really lost him.

Belle: I am so sorry this happened. I shouldn't have ever said anything. I didn't mean for Rex to overhear. If she wouldn't have waited so long to tell him the truth --

Shawn D.: Kind of like you waited so long to tell Philip the truth about us.

Roman: Kate... did you hear one damn word I said to John earlier? It was a moment of need -- after everything Tony did to us, after seeing the live television feed of you and John making love. We thought you'd moved on. We didn't think we were ever gonna see any of our loved ones again, so we turned to each other for comfort.

Kate: Roman, everyone knows what the DiMeras are capable of, first Stefano and then Tony. It was clear from the very start that all Tony wanted was to get you and Marlena together. But the thing that I can't get past is that the two of you came back here and never said anything about your infidelity. Were you just gonna keep that a great big secret forever?

Roman: Wait just a second here. You and John didn't exactly jump out and tell Marlena and me that you had slept together, either.

Kate: We were living together. We were engaged. I think you could read between the lines, can't you? Didn't we make love before we were married, Roman?

Roman: Yes, we did.

Kate: Then why were you so hard on John and I? Why did you rake me over the coals for not waiting a year before I moved on?

Roman: Oh, Kate, come on.

Kate: No! No, you come on. You stood there in that penthouse, and you made me feel like I had dishonored you or your memory. And the whole time, you had committed adultery. The man I loved, the man I married would never have done something like that to me a year ago. And then that first night, your first night back, you asked who was going to stay in the penthouse. And I think, secretly, I think deep down, you were hoping I would stay there with John because then you would have your precious Marlena all to yourself.

Billie: [Sighs] You know, I really didn't feel like swimming again tonight.

Max: Hey, the water's still warm. You should get in and forget about the lemonades.

Billie: Oh, gee, it's late. Besides, I thought we were gonna have our little "getting to know each other" talk.

Max: You just want to talk -- that's it?

Billie: [Laughs] That's generally how two people get to know each other.

Max: Okay.

[Clears throat] I don't mind if you stare, okay? I keep myself in pretty great shape, and I don't mind if a beautiful woman is checking it out.

Billie: You're awfully sure of yourself, are you?

Max: Well, in my occupation, you kind of have to be. You have to be sure of yourself when you're going 125 miles an hour with 30 other drivers around a narrow track.

Billie: I like a man who has confidence. And you do. But you're driving too fast on this track, little one.

Max: Okay. Okay. So...what brings you back to Salem? Pop told me that you're some hotshot I.S.A. agent.

Billie: Well, first of all, I'm not really a hotshot. But, yes, I am an I.S.A. agent. I came back to Salem with no intention of staying. I'm here on a mission.

Max: A mission? What kind of mission -- some sort of secret mission?

Billie: I'm here to find my daughter.

Chelsea: Thank God it was just boxes I hit, right? The car's okay, right?

Patrick: Yeah, yeah, pretty much. You were lucky.

Chelsea: The car just kind of jumped out on me.

Patrick: That's because you popped the clutch.

Chelsea: I what?

Patrick: You popped the clutch. That's what made the car jump out like that.

Chelsea: Oh, well, it scared me, the way it popped.

Patrick: Well, it wouldn't have happened if you take foot off a little more slowly.

Chelsea: Guess I'm gonna need a few more lessons.

Patrick: Yeah, good idea. But tomorrow, you know? It's getting late.

Chelsea: Okay. Um, why don't you drive? That way I can watch you in action.

Patrick: All right. Okay... here we go.

Chelsea: Oh, wait. Why don't I put my hand on top of yours? That way, I can get a sense of how you handle your stick.

Patrick: All right, go ahead. All right, this is first.

Bo: Hope? Fancy Face? [Creaking] Hope? Hey. I woke up, and you were gone. What's up?

Hope: I think we're in trouble.

Belle: Come on. What we're going through is totally different from what Mimi and Rex are going through.

Shawn D.: I don't think so. The longer you wait to tell Philip the truth about us, the harder it's gonna be. Come on, do you want Philip to hate you and me the same way that Rex hates Mimi now?

Belle: Of course not.

Shawn D.: Okay, so you gotta tell him the truth about us and the baby.

Belle: I've already told him he and I are having a baby.

Shawn D.: What did he say?

Belle: He thinks it's a miracle, that it's a great way to bring us closer than we already are.

Shawn D.: But it's a lie, Belle. You don't love him the way you love me.

Belle: You're right. I don’t. But he and I are having this baby together, and I have to handle this my way.

Shawn D.: Listen to me.

Belle: Can you just respect that? Just -- will you do that? Will you just let me handle this my way?

Mimi: So when I found out I was pregnant, I asked Rex how he felt about having children.

Philip: What did he say?

Mimi: He said he wanted kids, just not now. He wanted to make sure he had a great job and security first, and he kept saying over and over that he wasn't ready to have kids. So I --

Philip: And you got scared, right? And so you decided to have an abortion because you thought if he found out you were pregnant, he would walk out on you, right?

Mimi: Or that I would ruin his life.

Philip: He was just as responsible for you being pregnant as you were.

Mimi: I know. That's why, as soon as I had the abortion, I regretted it. And I knew I had to tell him. And I was trying to figure out the best way, and -- and then... Jan had to make everything just so much more complicated.

Philip: Jan?

Mimi: Yeah, she, um... she found the receipt to my visit to the clinic.

Philip: Oh, man.

Mimi: And, um, she used it to blackmail me. She said that she would tell Rex about the abortion if I didn't help her.

Philip: If you didn't help her with what?

Mimi: She, um...she wanted me to help her keep Shawn away from Belle so she could have him.

Philip: [Sighs]

Mimi: And I couldn't do that. So that's why we fought, and I was willing to go to jail so Rex wouldn't find out. And he wouldn't have if Belle hadn't have --

Philip: I just don't want to see you give up hope, okay? Now, I know rex well, okay? He's going to be angry for a while, and then he's gonna start to miss you, and he'll be back. It's gonna take him a while to forgive you, but he's a good guy. You'll be able to talk through with him.

Mimi: That's the problem. I liked to a good guy... a guy who loved me, who would have done anything for me. I didn't trust the man I love to help make the right decision. And for that, I have killed any chance for us to ever be together again.

Philip: Just don't give up hope, Mimi.

[Cellphone rings]

Philip: It's Rex.

Roman: Kate...that night at the penthouse, come on -- you knew where I was coming from. I was just asking who was gonna sleep where. Look, if you remember right, that is the night you told me you sold my house. I was a little angry. You were living with John. All I meant --

Kate: All you meant was, who was going to be sleeping with whom? And I really wish that you had been honest with us... because if John and I knew that you and Marlena had been intimate --

Roman: Would that have made a difference? We didn't see the point in hurting you. We thought we should all just move forward.

Kate: Ah, did you? Because that's the part I'm just not so sure of. Why did you keep it a secret unless you thought that we wouldn't understand? Why wouldn't we understand unless there was still something going on between the two of you? There is more to this than you're admitting. I feel like I just don't know my husband. And after your actions tonight, needing to be near Marlena... I'm just wondering if we really belong together anymore.

Roman: Wait a minute. Are you saying that you're giving up on me?

Max: I didn't know you had a daughter.

Billie: She'd be just about -- no, she'd actually be a little bit younger than you are right now.

Max: You're kidding. I can't imagine you having a kid my age.

Billie: If you're trying to flatter me, it's working.

Max: Good. Who's her father?

Billie: Your brother Bo.

Max: What?

Billie: Yeah, we were told that she was stillborn. We buried her here in Salem... or at least we thought we did. Apparently, the DiMeras have had her all this time.

Max: DiMeras -- what do they want with her?

Billie: Well, she's a Brady, Max. And the DiMeras hate the Bradys’.

Max: Yeah, they sure do.

Billie: So I've taken a leave of absence from the I.S.A. to search for my daughter. Bo and Hope are out there right now looking for Tony DiMera.

Max: They still think he's behind this?

Billie: Almost positive. And if Bo and Hope can find Tony DiMera, it might lead them to Victor Kiriakis, Caroline Brady, and our daughter.

Max: I hope they find everybody. Caroline was so good to me when I had nobody but Frankie. You know? She doesn't deserve this any more than your innocent daughter.

Billie: Thanks.

Max: Yeah.

Billie: Hey, speaking of innocent, what's going on with you and Chelsea? I mean, are you interested in her?

Max: Chelsea's not innocent. Um, and we're just casual.

Billie: Casual as in...

Max: As in, we're using each other.

Patrick: [Sighs] Are you gonna get out of the car?

Chelsea: Not yet -- I want to sit here and enjoy it for a few minutes.

Patrick: I understand about new cars. How about another lesson tomorrow, okay?

Chelsea: Okay. Thanks, Patrick.

Billie: I can't believe you just said that.

Max: I'm not gonna lie to you. She's been throwing herself at me for a long time, and I find it incredibly attractive.

Billie: But you're using her.

Max: It's a two-way street, sweetheart. She's been using me for a long time, and I just decided to take the bait.

Billie: Okay, all right, and how exactly is Chelsea using you?

Max: She's been coming on to me for one reason only, okay? She wants to hook up with Patrick. And she thinks I'll make him jealous.

Patrick: [Clears throat] What the hell are you doing here?

Billie: He drove me home.

Max: I should get going.

Patrick: [Scoffs]

Billie: It all makes sense now.

Patrick: What?

Billie: You and I need to have a talk.

Chelsea: I have been waiting for this forever. I want you to make love to me.

Bo: What do you mean, we're in trouble?

Hope: I noticed we were three degrees off our original coordinates.

Bo: That shouldn't have happened. This is new equipment.

Hope: I came up to readjust the sails, but no matter what I do, we keep veering off.

Bo: Yeah, well, there's not much wind right now. We're probably in a strong current. Once the wind picks back up, we'll be fine. We'll just have to wait it out.

Hope: Listen, while I was up here, I took another look at Tony's latest riddle on the PDA.

Bo: "No compass, no maps, no stars to guide you."

Hope: "Count to three, and your daughter will be beside you."

Bo: Any luck figuring it out?

Hope: Not a thing. Hey, we'll figure it out.

Bo: Yes. Hey, there we go. The wind's picked back up. We should be back on course very soon. Thanks for taking care of us.

Hope: Hey, that's my job -- keeping us on course. That's the only way we're gonna find Tony, you know... and, God willing, your parents and Georgia.

Bo: Okay, I'm gonna lock the wheel... and we'll go back to bed.

Hope: Sounds good.

Bo: You've got too many clothes on.

Hope: You have too many clothes on.

Mimi: Rex is calling you?

Philip: Talk to him.

Mimi: Oh, no, I can’t. I don't know what to say.

Philip: Then be quiet. I'm gonna see what he has to say. Hey, man, what's going on? Yeah, yeah, I'm wondering why you would leave town without coming to see me first. Uh-huh. Yeah, I promise.

Mimi: What is he saying?

Philip: Look, Rex, Mimi's here with me right now. She really wants -- Rex? Sorry.

Mimi: Rex! Rex! Oh! Turned his phone off. He's never gonna talk to me again.

Shawn D.: I'll let you sort this out your own way, but only if you promise me that you are gonna tell Philip the truth about how you feel. You haven't changed your mind, right, because of the baby?

Belle: I can't really think about any of this right now. It's not just you and Philip and me anymore. It doesn't even seem real. I'm gonna have a baby. And my mom is sick and Philip is injured and I'm a mess and I just need time to think this through. And until I've done that, I really don't need you pressuring me. I need your support. Is everything okay?

Mimi: What do you think?

Philip: I just got a call from Rex, and he hung up rather quickly when he found out Mimi was here.

Belle: I'm sorry, Mimi.

Mimi: Yeah, right. Philip, thanks for being such a real friend.

Belle: [Moans softly]

Philip: Hey, are you okay? Is it the baby?

Belle: I'm okay.

Philip: All right.

Mimi: Oh, my God, are you pregnant?

Kate: I never gave up on you, Roman. But I did move on with John. And what could have been more natural? We were two lost souls who found each other. But we never knowingly committed adultery.

Roman: Wow, Kate. You're making this sound a whole lot more sordid than it was.

Kate: The two of you slept together when you knew full well that John and I were alive. And to make things worse, Marlena got pregnant.

Roman: Kate...all right. You know what? I am sorry. I made a big mistake with Marlena, but we're both paying for it. Not only did she lose her baby, she's lost her memory. Do you really think that we need to be punished any more?

Kate: I'm sorry for what we're all going through. But now that you and Marlena are back and you obviously have so many complications between the two of you, I think it's pretty obvious that your relationship is far from over.

Roman: Kate... I wish that there was something I could do to prove to you how much I love you, how much I still want to be with you.

Kate: There is. You can leave this hospital tonight, and you can come home with me. Are you willing to do that for us? For our marriage?

Chelsea: What the hell are you doing?

Patrick: Okay, so, what's going on?

Billie: Nothing. Where's Chelsea?

Patrick: Uh, she's enjoying her new car.

Billie: Oh, so she can handle a five-speed now.

Patrick: Well, I didn't say that. She needs a few more lessons before she can go solo.

Billie: Uh-huh. And who's gonna give her those lessons?

Patrick: Who do you think?

Billie: [Chuckles] Patrick... you are aware that Chelsea has a major crush on you.

Max: What's wrong -- you just asked me to make love to you.

Chelsea: I didn't mean you.

Max: Oh, really? Let me guess. You were daydreaming about Patrick Lockhart, weren't you?

Patrick: I guess I didn't see it. After her parents were killed and she got out of the hospital, I just -- I don't know. I was just trying to do everything I could to help her.

Billie: Well, I guess she misinterpreted your kindness and caring as something else. Unless... you don't have feelings for her, do you?

Patrick: Come on, Billie. You know there's only one woman I'm interested in right now.

Bo: I love you, Fancy Face.

Hope: I love you, Brady.

Man: Sorry to interrupt you, sir, but despite our best attempts, the Brady vessel has corrected its course and appears to have locked its wheel. Yes, sir. I'll activate the cloaking device and continue to follow. No, sir, I'm sure they haven't spotted me. I'll continue to keep a close but comfortable distance.

Chelsea: Who I like and who I don't like is none of your damn business.

Max: To be honest, I don't care who you end up with. You think you're trading up by getting with Patrick Lockhart? Keep guessing. He's not very sharp.

Chelsea: Look, like I said before, I'll be the one to decide who I need and who I don't need.

Max: We'll see about that.

Billie: Who is she? Do you mean Jennifer?

Patrick: No, no, I'm not interested in Jennifer.

Billie: Well, then, who?

Patrick: Who's the dense one now?

Max: You may need Patrick, but it sure as hell looks like he doesn't need you.

Hope: [Gasps]

Bo: What is it, Fancy Face? What's wrong?

Hope: I just got this crazy feeling like someone's watching us.

Roman: Kate... you know you're not being very reasonable right now. You know I gotta stay here. Doc just lost her baby. What if she wakes up? She's gonna need help remembering who she is. And I spent over half her adult life with her. I need to be here for her.

Kate: I'm your wife. Your place is by me.

Roman: Well, I'm sorry, Kate. I need to stay.

Kate: You're making a very big mistake.

Roman: Sorry you see it that way.

Kate: [Sighs]

Mimi: Are you kidding me? You're pregnant?

Belle: Yes, I am.

Philip: Yeah, we just found out today.

Mimi: Did you know about this, too?

Shawn D.: Yeah, I did.

Mimi: Wow. All this is a little too ironic, isn't it?

Belle: Yeah, can I talk to you for just a minute, please?

Mimi: Absolutely.

Belle: Okay. What are you doing?

Mimi: I'm looking at a hypocrite. "You should have told Rex about the baby from the very beginning."

Belle: This baby is Philip's, not Shawn's.

Mimi: Whoa, where did that come from? I wasn't questioning whose baby it was, but, hey, that's a juicy thought.

Belle: It's Philip's.

Mimi: So, then, I wonder how Philip would feel if he found out that you were planning to annul your marriage so you could be with Shawn. And then how would he feel if he knew you were taking his baby with you? That is some dilemma, princess. Looks like you're in quite a bind.

Belle: Don't you dare say a thing.

Mimi: And why the hell not? Hey, Philip...

Shawn D.: Whoa, what are you doing, Mimi?

Mimi: I'm about to teach my dear best friend, Belle, that payback's a bitch.

Belle: "Baby's birthday -- the happiest day of our lives."

Philip: Honey, I know what's going on here. I know what's wrong.

Mimi: Shawn, wake up. You have lost Belle. It's over.

Kate: The question is and always has been, can you ever get over your love for Marlena?

Nicole: I am going to get Brady back, Sami, and you're gonna help me, okay? Get with the plan, Stan!
