Mimi: Rex! Rex! Rex, are you here?! Rex! Rex!

Mimi: Oh, my God! Oh, my God, all his stuff is gone. His keys -- he left his keys. God, I can't believe that he's really gone. I have to find him. I have to find him.

[Breathing heavily]

Mimi: Damn it! Rex, it's me. Please don't do this. Please. You have to come back and talk to me. I know what I did was horrible, and I'm so sorry, but it was only because I love you and I was so scared to lose you. And I know even though you're angry, which you have every right to be, I know you still love me. We can work this out. Please, just call me as soon as you get this. God, what if he doesn't call? What if he doesn't call? I have to find him. Oh, God, what am I gonna do?

Mimi: [Sobs] Oh, God, Rex is the best thing that ever happened to me, and now -- now I've lost him.

Mimi: Belle! Damn you, Belle! My so-called best friend. It's your fault! It's your fault!

[Knock on door]

Mimi: Rex! Rex! I knew you'd come back. Mom!

Bonnie: Mimi...what the hell's going on with Rex?

[Sobbing intensifies]

Philip: Well, thanks for everything, Shawn.

Belle: Yeah, thanks for helping with the groceries.

Shawn D.: No problem.

Belle: It is way past time for your medication.

Philip: Yeah, I totally forgot about that. I'll take it right now.

Belle: You can't do it on an empty stomach, so let me fix you something, okay?

Philip: Forget about that. You need to take it easy. You fainted today, and I, for one, am still worried about you.

Belle: I told you that I'm fine. It's no big deal. I'll be right back.

Philip: Sweetie... look, I'm sorry about your mom. But she's gonna be fine. And I'm sorry about the baby.

Belle: I just hope she's gonna be okay, you know? Maybe the amnesia's a defense mechanism or something. She doesn't remember being held prisoner with Roman or conceiving the baby. She was tortured when she found out she was pregnant, Philip. She was terrified of what it was gonna do to my dad and to your mom and Roman's marriage, too.

Philip: They'll be okay. I think my mom and Roman still love each other -- same with your parents. They will get through this, all right, sweetie?

Belle: I'm gonna go get your medication.

Philip: I have to leave a message for Austin. He called earlier, and I promised I'd let him know how my mom's doing.

Belle: You don't have to put that stuff away. I can do it.

Shawn D.: Like Philip said, you've been through a lot today. I just want to help. Plus, there's a lot we need to talk about.

Belle: No, there isn’t. I need to talk to Philip as soon as possible, and in private.

Shawn D.: I just wish you would wait because there is a lot that we have to work out.

Belle: There's nothing left to talk about.

Shawn D.: What are you not getting here? Our entire future is at stake.

Belle: What are you not getting here? I am pregnant with Philip's baby. Nothing about our lives is ever gonna be the same.

Sami: Come on, Sami, you gotta think. There's gotta be some way to burn Kate for good. I've gotta find a way to prove that she sabotaged my wedding to Lucas. And then we can get her out of our lives for good. Tony said that he had some kind of proof that Kate set me up. And, obviously, Eugenia's using some kind of evidence to get her to get her a job. I just have to find it. Can't forget this -- you never know when you might need to take a photo of something or voice-record someone. This time, I am going to be prepared, and I will get my revenge if it is the last thing I do. Lucas...

Lucas: You'll never learn, will you, Sami?

John: It's time for you to come back to me, Marlena, and I'm gonna stay right here by your side until you do. And when you wake up, I will be the be the first face that you see, and you -- you will remember. You will remember that I am your husband and that I love you. You will remember everything.

Roman: How's she doing, John?

John: I would appreciate if you would leave us alone.

Roman: John, I really don't want to remind you of this, but it was my baby she lost. So I need to be here when she finally wakes up and remembers.

John: When Lexie said no visitors, she was referring to you, pal.

Roman: I don't care what Lexie said, you said, or anybody said. I'm gonna be here for her, and there's not a hell of a lot you can do to stop me.

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of Our Lives.

Sami: Lucas, what are you doing here?

Lucas: I came to apologize. I thought I was a little rough on you in the hospital when your mom was sick. But maybe I wasn’t.

Sami: What do you mean?

Lucas: I just heard you -- still trying to get revenge, Sami? Your priorities are all in the wrong spot -- still. Why don't you leave my mom out of it? She's already been through enough. Just found out that her husband is sleeping with his ex-wife, and they conceived a child.

Sami: My mom just fell down a flight of stairs and she lost her baby and she nearly lost her life and now she's woken up with amnesia. She doesn't remember anything.

Lucas: Maybe you should focus your energies on being there for your mother instead of hurting other people. You know that's what she'd want. You know what, Sami? I really wanted to believe that you changed, but you still just blame everything on my mom. Everything that goes wrong in your life is my mom's fault. I'm not gonna let you blame her for this. My mom had nothing to do with Marlena losing Roman's baby.

Sami: You're right about that. I talked to my dad about it, and he told me that my mom was upset because he and John were fighting. She fell down the stairs. Kate wasn't anywhere near her.

Lucas: When are you gonna get it through your head that my mom is not the monster you believe she is?

Sami: Let's not get crazy here. She is a monster. She didn't want my mom to have that baby. She admitted it. And I do blame her for that, just like I blame her for ruining what could have been the happiest day of my life.

John: Are you telling me you refuse to leave this room?

Roman: John, look, I know you're her husband, and you've got a hell of a lot more right to be here than I do, but I was also the father of the baby she lost, and I think that gives me rights, too. And I'll be damned if I'm gonna let you keep me away.

John: I think we need to take this outside.

Roman: I think you're absolutely right. Let's do that.

John: She doesn't need you, Roman. I can take care of my wife just fine. I'm sure you can, John. But if she needs me, too, I'm gonna be there for her.

John: What does she need you for? If you're hoping that she's gonna wake up and think that she's still married to you, forget about it.

Roman: Let me ask you this -- how long have you been walking around without a clue as to who you really are? Where you came from, who you've been with, how many people you've killed for DiMera when he turned you into his pawn and made you his bidding. John, this is what I'm saying. If I can make her remember, I would think you would be the first person in the world to say, "go ahead -- take a shot." Unless you want her to wind up in your shoes 10 years from now -- not be able to remember our past together or yours, either.

John: I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy, and you know it.

Roman: I don't know that. Maybe you want to start a whole new life, make new memories, forget the old ones, just like when you reinvented yourself as John Black. But, John, you know damn well the past doesn't go away.

John: You sure as hell don't want it to, do you? You're the reason she's in there right now. You're the reason that she fell down those stairs and almost died, the reason she's so traumatized she doesn't know who the hell she is right now -- all because you pushed yourself on her in that castle. And you couldn't stop yourself 'cause you never got over losing her. So when you saw your chance, you just took it.

Roman: John, that's not the way it happened.

John: Who do you think you're talking to, anyway? I can only imagine how you tried to manipulate her. Probably pulled out all the stops like you did on the island, telling her that you were dying so you could guilt her into doing you one last time. What was your angle this time, pal? Come on, I really want to know. What exactly did you say to get my wife into your bed?

Roman: The truth? I said yes when she asked me to make love to her.

Kate: No! No! Stop it! Stop!

Bonnie: Okay, easy, easy, easy, baby, what's wrong? Where's Rex? I found this on my desk at Alice's. It's his resignation notice, effective immediately.

Mimi: Let me see that. Oh, my God, it's really true. He's left Salem, and he's not coming back.

Bonnie: [Sighs] Don't tell me. You told him about the baby -- the abortion.

Mimi: No, Belle did.

Bonnie: What?

Mimi: She blurted it out at the hospital today, and Rex overheard.

Bonnie: Oh, no. She must feel terrible.

Mimi: I highly doubt it, because the only person Belle is ever worried about is herself.

Bonnie: You know that's not true. You're just upset. Belle is a very caring person. Look at how she's taking care of Philip.

Mimi: Oh, God, give me a break, mom. Everyone but Philip knows that the only reason she married him is because she thought Shawn didn't want her anymore. And then as soon as Shawn said he did, she couldn't give a damn about her husband. No, she couldn't wait for him to come home from war so she could tell him that she was gonna leave him for his best friend. The only reason she's still with him is because she feels sorry for him because he lost his leg and because she would look like the most heartless person if she left him now. It's disgusting.

Bonnie: Yeah. Yep, that's awful.

Mimi: I can only hope that someday, those two get a clue, and she loses both of them, just like she made me lose Rex.

Shawn D.: Listen to me. I know things have changed. That's why we need to talk. This is all happening so fast. I want us to take a step back and figure out how to handle this before you tell Philip that you're pregnant.

Belle: What is there left to talk about? I can't keep it from him. I hope you don't expect me to.

Shawn D.: I would never expect that. Where do you keep your paper bags -- under the sink?

Belle: Okay, here is your protein shake, just the way you like it -- with fresh berries. And don't forget to take your medicine.

Philip: You take such good care of me. What would I do without you?

Belle: Can I get you anything else?

Philip: Mnh-mnh. I'm actually feeling tired, and you must be exhausted. I guess we should go to bed.

Belle: Yeah, maybe we should.

Philip: Hey, Shawn, thanks for all your help, man. Both of us really appreciate everything -- thank you.

Shawn D.: Yeah, yeah, anytime. Guess I'll see you later?

Philip: Yep.

Belle: I'll walk you out.

Shawn D.: Will you just wait one night? That is all I'm asking. We can talk about this tomorrow morning. Maybe you'll think differently.

Belle: No, I won’t. No matter what, Philip has to know that he's gonna be a father. He should have known before you did.

Shawn D.: What about us?

Belle: I don't know.

Shawn D.: Belle!

Belle: I have to go, okay? Good night.

Shawn D.: Damn it!

Philip: I'm sorry I was rude. I just didn't think he would ever leave. Honey, you okay?

Belle: Yeah, I'm fine.

Philip: No, there's something on your mind. What is it?

Belle: There is.

Philip: What's wrong?

Belle: There's something that I have to tell you... something that you might not like to hear.

Philip: Okay.

Lucas: We already talked about this. All you have to do is prove that my mom somehow set you up to be with Brandon, and then we would talk. But, no, Sami -- all you do -- you keep accusing her, and you have nothing.

Sami: I don't have nothing, Lucas. Eugenia confessed the entire thing to me. So I know it's true. I just have to find a way to prove it to you.

Lucas: Don't do it. I'm warning you right now -- don't you try to frame my mother for something you did.

Sami: I'm not gonna frame her, Lucas. Kate is as guilty as sin, and so is her accomplice, Eugenia.

Lucas: It's the same old song and dance, Sami. I'm sick of it.

Sami: You're gonna be sorry when you find out, when I prove to you and everyone else what they did to me... to our son. You're gonna be begging for me to forgive you. If you're lucky, maybe I will.

Kate: Stop! Stop it! Stop before they throw you both out.

Roman: All right... all right, John. I'm sorry. But I think you owe me an apology, too.

John: I don't think so. You just accused my wife of coming on to you. You're passing the buck, pal. You know damn well it was you who took advantage of her.

Roman: Not true, and you didn't let me finish. I can explain to you what happened.

John: Yeah, you explain. You explain how my wife asked you to make love to her, 'cause I find that just a bit hard to believe.

Roman: Wasn't out of any disloyalty to you, John. And I didn't mean to imply that anything was her fault -- it wasn’t. It wasn't anybody's damn fault. It just happened.

John: Oh, it just happened.

Roman: That's exactly right. It just happened. John, we were in a hell of a vulnerable place. My God, we had been locked up for months and months. We didn't know if we were gonna get home. We didn't know if we were gonna see our families again. And at that moment that it happened, we had pretty much given up the idea that we were ever gonna see you or Kate again. In a very, very weak moment, we broke down. We turned to each other. We turned to each other because, well, hell, because we were all we had. And Tony DiMera made damn sure that was the case.

Marlena: [Sobbing]

Roman: It's okay.

Marlena: I thought we were free. Turns out that Tony is just 10 steps ahead of us again.

Marlena: [Sniffling] We're not going home, are we, Roman?

Roman: Doc...I wish to hell I could promise you that.

Marlena: Roman...

Roman: Tony did every damn thing he could to manipulate us. Just like Stefano tore Doc and I apart all those years ago, tony was just as determined to bring us together.

John: And that is what I'm supposed to buy as an excuse?

Roman: John, it's not an excuse, damn it. I'm trying to tell you what the hell happened. Doc and I were at a low point. Tony knew how to use that. Doc referred to it as a "Reverse Stockholm Syndrome." Instead of identifying with your captor, he made damn sure we identified with each other and our pasts together.

John: Do you even know how ridiculous that sounds? If Marlena was actually aware of what Tony was up to, he never would succeed because she would be even more determined to beat him at his own game.

Roman: John, Doc was was I! We both were, but Doc is not infallible, any more than I am, especially under those circumstances. So what happened, happened out of need -- need and desperation.

John: You wanted it to happen, Roman. You're waiting for just the right moment, that moment of weakness that you could exploit.

Roman: I wouldn't do that. John, damn it, I would not do that. And, besides that, the only thing we ever talked about was getting home to you and Kate. That's all we ever lived for... until Tony started showing us that live feed of you and Kate together.

John: Oh, I see. So now it's because you and Marlena saw all that, huh? Damn.

Roman: Well, okay, John, it happened with Doc -- it was happening all over again. You were making love to my wife.

Bonnie: I know, baby. Shh, I know, I know. Rex was a good guy and one hell of a looker. But listen to me -- he's not the only bull at the rodeo. I mean, it's time for you to look at the bright side.

Mimi: What bright side? There is no bright side.

Bonnie: I know that it may not seem so now, but it's not true. Believe me, I been there. I just lost my precious Mickey. I thought my whole world had ended.

Mimi: I know. I'm sorry. You really did love him, didn't you?

Bonnie: No man has ever treated me with such kindness, such respect. I thought we'd grow old together. I mean, I'd grow old and Mickey older. Point is, as much as it hurt me when he left me -- and it did -- I wasn't about to lay down and die or wallow in my defeat. No, sir -- that's not the Lockhart way. We pull ourselves up by our bootstraps, and we move on.

Mimi: I don't want to move on. I want Rex.

Bonnie: I know you do, sweetie. And who's to say that he won't come back one day? It could happen. But you can't count on that. So in the meantime, use this opportunity to kind of take stock of your life. Explore new directions.

Mimi: New directions?

Bonnie: It's either that or spend your life all alone. It's your choice.

Mimi: If I can't have Rex, I will spend the rest of my life alone. God, why is this happening to me?

Bonnie: See, this is the attitude I'm talking about. Honey, you're carrying on like your life is over. But it's not. Sure, you're hurt. Hell, you're brokenhearted. But in time, sweetheart, you will get over it. Sweetheart, look at me. Just because Rex was your first doesn't mean he's gonna be your last. Your father was my first love, and look how that turned out.

Mimi: Mom, will you stop it?! The love of my life just left me. I can't think about other guys or moving on. I -- I don't think I'll ever be able to.

Bonnie: But, honey, you don't have to think about it, 'cause the perfect man is right under your nose. Honey, he's living right here.

Mimi: Oh, God, you're not gonna bring up the whole Shawn thing again.

Bonnie: Why not? What's wrong with Shawn?

Mimi: There's nothing wrong with Shawn, but like I've told you a million times, I am not in love with Shawn. And even if I was, which I'm not, he loves Belle.

Bonnie: And Belle is married to Philip. And like you just said, now that he's an amputee, a wounded war hero, she'll never have the guts to leave him. And once Shawn realizes that, I have a very strong feeling he will turn to you.

Mimi: Oh, please...

Bonnie: And why wouldn't he? You two have grown up together. You've always been close. You've always understood each other. Honey, honey, maybe Shawn is the Brady that you were meant to be with after all.

Mimi: You know what? You have to go now. I just want to be alone.

Bonnie: I'm just trying to help.

Mimi: I know you are. We'll talk later, all right?

Bonnie: Fine, fine, fine. I'll go. But you promise me you will dry those tears and think about what I said. I just know you and Shawn would be very happy together.

Mimi: You mean me and Shawn's Horton and Kiriakis trust funds.

Bonnie: Just as easy to love a rich man as it is --

Mimi: Goodbye. Bye. Oh, it's you.

Shawn D.: Why are you crying?

Mimi: Rex left.

Shawn D.: What do you mean, Rex left? Where'd he go?

Mimi: I mean Rex left me. He moved out. He quit his job. He's left Salem.

Shawn D.: Wait, hold on -- Rex left Salem? Okay, no. I know he was upset when you told --

Mimi: Upset? He was a little more than upset, Shawn, thanks to your girlfriend for blurting out my big secret. Thanks to her, she's ruined two more lives.

Philip: I don't understand. What could you possibly tell me, sweetheart, that would make me unhappy?

Belle: Something's happened, Philip. Something neither one of us were expecting.

Philip: Okay, is it something with your parents?

Belle: No. No, it has to do with us and our future.

Philip: All right, you're starting to scare me now, so why don't you just come out and say it?

Belle: I'm pregnant.

Sami: Your mother is evil. She doesn't care who she has to hurt to get what she wants, and that includes her son and her grandson.

Lucas: I know my mom's no saint, okay? She's done things she's not proud of. So have you, and so have I. It's not --

[Cellphone rings]

Lucas: Hello. Hey, hey, Phyllis. Can you give me a second, please? Thanks. It's my headhunter about a job. I gotta take this, okay?

Sami: Oh, yeah.

Lucas: Yeah. Yeah, what's going on? What do you got for me?

Sami: Lucas is never gonna believe me without proof. He has no idea what mommie dearest is capable of. But I do. You and Kate drugged me and Brandon and set us up so that Lucas would walk in on us. You ruined my life.

Eugenia: You still harping on that old story?

Sami: Don't bother denying it. I was here earlier, and I overheard you bragging about it on the phone.

Eugenia: So this is your second time breaking in.

Sami: [Chuckles]

Eugenia: [Chuckles] You know what, Sami? You're right. And the plan was pure genius. Kate was the mastermind, and I was more than happy to help her.

Sami: Finally, you admit it.

Eugenia: Hell, yeah, I admit it. And I can't tell you how sweet it was to watch you crash and burn. I would gladly, gladly do it over again.

Lucas: No, Phyllis, I'm not really against that. I'd be more than happy to do that if the money was right.

Sami: Eugenia is the answer to all of this. The only question is, how do I get the truth out of her?

Roman: Listen...both of you. We were devastated with what we saw on that monitor, with what Tony's hidden cameras captured. We couldn't believe that you and Kate were together.

John: Well, our grief is what brought us together. You see, we thought that you and Marlena were dead.

Roman: I understand that. I understand that, John. So did Doc. But you gotta understand it didn't hurt any less when we saw what we saw. And, yeah, I'm pretty damn sure that's what put it over the edge.

John: Oh, so when she was at her breaking point, that's when you made your move.

Roman: I told you -- that's not what happened. Our life was a living hell. Our hope of getting home to you and Kate was the only damn thing that kept us going. Then, when we thought we'd lost that --

John: I see. So now you're blaming Kate and me?

Roman: Oh, God, no, John, not at all.

John: The fact is, what she needed was for you to be a friend, support, reassurance. What she didn't need was for you to throw yourself on top of her when she was most vulnerable.

Roman: I didn't do that, John. I did every damn thing I could to reassure her. But from what we saw on that monitor of you and Kate, it was pretty damn clear there wasn't anybody coming after us. And let me remind you of this -- if it wasn't for Jack and me saving Cassie and Marlena when that castle burst into flames, she wouldn't be alive today. So don't stand there and tell me I didn't look out for her.

John: You know, I'd like to say that I understand. The fact is, I don’t... 'cause there ain't no getting around the bottom line, pal. And that is, unlike Kate and me, the two of you knew that we were alive, and that still didn't stop you.

Roman: [Scoffs] Kate...

Kate: Tell me something -- when you were making love to Marlena, did you stop even for a second to think about me?

Philip: Honey, you're serious? We're gonna have a baby?

Belle: Yeah, I found out at the hospital today. Turns out I don't have an ulcer after all.

Philip: This is incredible news. Sweetheart, you had me scared for a second, like it was gonna be something terrible. You kept talking about how it was gonna change our lives --

Belle: This is gonna change our lives, Philip. It's gonna change everything.

Philip: Yeah, I know, but is that a bad thing?

Belle: It's just... before we were married, we talked about waiting until we were ready -- when you were out of the service and I was out of school and we both were secure in our jobs.

Philip: Belle, that's what we talked about, but things don't always go as you plan. Maybe this baby was meant to be. Maybe this is what we deserve after everything we've been through. Who needs to wait? I love you. You love me. We're ready. All this baby's gonna do is bring us closer, make the bond between us stronger. What could be better than that?

Belle: I love you. I always have, and I always will. And I promise I'm gonna do the right thing so we can be together.

Philip: Belle? Sweetheart... I know this is not what we planned, but you are happy, aren't you?

Belle: I think having this baby is a huge mistake.

Shawn D.: You think Belle actually did this on purpose?

Mimi: She always made it very clear how she felt -- that I was such an awful person doing such an awful thing by keeping the truth from Rex. Of course she did it on purpose. Shawn, do you know how many secrets I've kept of hers? The biggest one being that she's in love with you. God, why couldn't she have just kept her mouth shut like I have?

Shawn D.: Maybe we're not being fair to Belle. She has a lot on her mind right now.

Mimi: I know that. And I feel bad about her mom losing the baby, and I feel really bad about Philip, but I'm sorry -- the only thing I can really think about right now is that I just lost the love of my life, the man I was going to marry. Rex is gone. He's gone. He's never coming back.

Shawn D.: I'm sure that's not true.

Mimi: Oh, yeah? Hello! Hello! Hello! He resigned from Alice's. He packed up all of his stuff and moved out. He left the keys to the loft. I think he's gone.

Shawn D.: And you have no idea where he might have left to.

Mimi: He recently got a job offer in Chicago, and he said he was gonna take it.

Shawn D.: Oh, man.

Mimi: That's what I've been telling you -- he's left me. And he's not coming back. He isn't coming back.

Shawn D.: Mimi, I'm sorry. Really, I am, 'cause I know how much you loved him. But I know how much he loves you, which is why none of this makes any sense.

Mimi: It's 'cause he hates me and he never wants to see me again.

Shawn D.: No, don't say that. Don't say that. Look, I just came from Belle and Philip's. Philip said nothing about Rex taking off.

Mimi: Philip's home?

Shawn D.: Yeah, they got back a little while ago.

Mimi: Maybe he knows how I can get ahold of Rex.

Shawn D.: Wait, I don't think that's a good idea. You should let Rex call you. Just give him some time.

Mimi: Do you think he really will call?

Shawn D.: Yes, I think he will. You know how he gets. He's a little mad. He just needs to calm down. Then he'll call you, all right?

Sami: Why didn't I think of this before?

Lucas: Hey, I gotta go. I gotta go, okay?

Sami: Yeah.

Lucas: What? Why do you look so jumpy?

Sami: I'm not. You just startled me.

Lucas: I know that look, Sami.

Sami: What look?

Lucas: That look on your face -- it's the same look you get when you're about to plan something. You're plotting something, right?

Sami: Yeah, I am. I'm figuring out how to get my life back together. The first step is proving to you that I'm innocent. And I will.

Lucas: I really hope you can prove it. I do. But I gotta follow up on this job lead right now. Please, for me, stay out of trouble, okay?

Sami: Lucas, you don't have to worry about me. The person who should be worried is Kate, because Eugenia is going to help me nail her. And I know just who I can get to help me with all of it.

Roman: Kate, you gotta know that you were in my every thought.

Kate: Even while you were making love to your ex-wife?

Roman: Kate, I tried to explain that.

Kate: Excuse me.

Kate: [Sighs]

Kate: Never mind. I mean, forget about it. It's pretty apparent that your only concern right now is with Marlena.

Roman: You know that's not true.

Kate: Oh, I wish I could say that. But I can’t...because, honestly, deep down, I think you would have been a lot happier if the two of you hadn't escaped -- if you were just locked thousands of miles away from John and me.

Nurse: Mr. Black, if you'd like, I can arrange a cot for you.

John: No, no, that's all right. I won't be sleeping. If my wife wakes up, I want to be here for her.

Nurse: I understand. Just let me know if you change your mind.

John: Thank you, but I won’t. Marlena, it's John. I know that you're there and you can hear me, so I don't want you to be afraid. I'm not angry. And I still love you, and I always will... because I know what happened... couldn't be your fault. Just Tony's victim again. You know how he's trying to tear us apart, and he'll do anything he can to make you vulnerable. And Roman took advantage of that. He should have been there to help you. Instead, he played right into Tony's hands, and he hurt you even more. And for that, I'm gonna make that man pay.

Philip: Honey, I just don't understand. Are you saying you don't want this baby?

Belle: No, of course not. It's just... it's not that simple.

Philip: What's not that simple? Why aren't you happy?

Belle: Once Philip knows how we really feel about each other, I don't think he'll stand in our way. I mean, he'll give me an annulment. And then we can finally be together.

Belle: I don't know. I guess I'm just scared. Like I said, we hadn't really planned on this happening, and...what if I can't do it? What if I'm not ready to be a mom?

Philip: Oh, no, sweetheart, sweetie, you will be an incredible mom. Okay? I have no doubt about that. But that's not what's bothering you. There's something else that's making you think twice, so why don't you just tell me what it is?

Belle: Philip, I'm still --

Mimi: Philip, thank God you're here. Have you heard from Rex? Please tell me you know how I can reach him.

Philip: Call his cellphone. What's the problem?

Mimi: He left me. He's packed up all of his stuff, and he's gone.

Belle: Mimi, I can't believe this.

Philip: Rex loves you. All he ever talks about is wanting to marry you and spend the rest of his life with you.

Mimi: That was before.

Philip: That was before what?

Mimi: Belle knows. She can tell you why he left me.

Philip: Belle?

Mimi: Because she couldn't keep her mouth shut. She's so wrapped up in her own life and her own drama that she couldn't bother to think before she destroyed someone else's life.

Belle: That is not true.

Mimi: Oh, like hell it isn't! If you gave a damn about me or what I was going through, you would have supported me. You wouldn't have berated me at the top of your lungs for Rex and everyone else in the world to hear.

Belle: Mimi, I didn't mean for Rex --

Mimi: Oh, shut up! Just shut up. I don't want to hear any of your excuses. You always have an excuse, don't you, Belle? Perfect Belle -- nothing's ever your fault, is it? Well, this is. But you're so selfish, you can't even see it.

Belle: I'm selfish? Uh, if anyone is selfish, Mimi, it's you. If you would have told Rex a long time ago, maybe he wouldn't have left you.

Mimi: How dare you say that?! You, of all people. You're the reason I lost him, and I will never forgive you, Belle -- never.

Bo: I woke up, and you were gone.

Hope: I think we're in trouble.

Kate: You were hoping I would stay there with John, because then you would have your precious Marlena all to yourself.

Shawn D.: What are you doing, Mimi?

Mimi: I'm about to teach my dear best friend, Belle, that payback's a bitch.
