Tek: Mimi Lockhart, you're under arrest for the attempted murder of Jan Spears.

Bonnie: You can't do that.

Tek: No, I'm afraid I can.

Bonnie: No, you can’t. I watch "Law & Order." You set us up. That's entrapment.

Tek: You're right. And I was just lucky enough to entrap you and your daughter breaking and entering. I wonder what you guys might have been looking for.

Bonnie: Mimi, don't say a word. Not until we to talk to Mickey.

Mimi: Mom, give it up. May as well just tell Tek the truth here. It's all gonna come out eventually anyway.

Sami: How dare you talk about my parents like that? They suffered such a -- a horrible, painful death.

Brady: Sami, please. Just calm down.

Sami: How can I calm down when my mother, my father, my grandmother are all gone, and you and John just saved yourselves?

Brady: Sami, everybody on that island looked out for everybody else.

Sami: Oh, yeah, and the only person you managed to save was your whore of a step-grandmother here. You saved her instead of my mother?

Brady: Sami, when the wave came crashing down, we all grabbed the person nearest to us. We did everything we could -- come on, my dad would have given his life to save Marlena.

Sami: Yeah, well, he didn't, did he? You and John might as well have killed my parents yourselves.

Brady: You know, you weren't there. You don't have a clue in hell.

Sami: Oh, it is obvious to anyone what was happening on that island, and I wish you and John and Belle would all just burn in hell, and that goes for you, too, Nicole. [Thinking] How lucky can a girl be? I get to ruin things forever between Brady and the one person he ever really loved. [Aloud] Serves him right if he gets to rot in hell with Nicole -- on earth and forever.

Nicole: Where is that little creep? I told him I'd meet him on the terrace when Brady left. Where is Brady, anyway? Now I have to think of some way to keep Brady and Chloe apart, but how?

Sami: Why don't you just leave that up to me?

Brady: All clear.

Brady: All right, guys, let's get to work.

Rex: Work? I don't even know what you mean. Look, we got all the Intel we needed off of John's computer.

Brady: That's where you're wrong. There's a whole 'nother level of classified information that only my dad has access to, and he can't access it from home. Look, Rex, we need you to crack into the I.S.A. mainframe and take a look around, okay?

Rex: Okay, Brady, how am I supposed to do that?

Brady: With this.

Rex: What the hell?

Shawn-d: It's like something out of a movie.

Brady: My dad is like something out of a movie. Only a few people in the world have clearance of this level.

Rex: Okay, so I suppose that computer has access to the I.S.A. mainframe.

Brady: Using my dad's password, I need you to get in there and download any new information you may find on Philip.

Shawn-d: This may be the information that we need that you couldn't have accessed from John's home computer.

Brady: Exactly.

Rex: I won't do it. No, if I log on to that thing, I could get us all killed.

Jennifer: No. Lexie. Not my little girl, not Abby. Please, Lexie.

Lexie: No, no, no, honey, no, no. I wasn't talking about Abby. Abby is fine, okay? She just went through surgery. She's in recovery. She's fine.

Jennifer: Oh, thank God.

Patrick: Then who were you talking about? Who died?

Billie: Not -- not Chelsea.

Lexie: No, no, no. It's her mother. Mrs. Benson went into cardiac arrest. We couldn't save her.

Patrick: Well, is Chelsea okay?

Lexie: She has some serious injuries, possible internal bleeding.

Billie: What about Mr. Benson?

Lexie: He's in surgery right now, but he's very critical. It's not looking good.

Billie: My God, that -- that poor little girl could lose both of her parents.

Lexie: Okay, listen, we just have to pray that he makes it, all right? I mean, she and Chelsea are very lucky to be alive.

Jennifer: Lexie, please, I need to see my daughter. Please.

Lexie: Yeah, yeah, of course. I'll take you.

Jennifer: All right. Patrick, can you call Hope and just tell her everything?

Patrick: Yeah, sure, don't worry about a thing, okay? Hey. You all right?

Billie: Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine. I'm fine.

Patrick: Okay. I'll be right back.

Billie: Okay.

Woman: Excuse me, Ms. Reed? Chelsea is asking for you.

Billie: For me? Oh. Okay.

[Monitor beeping]

Billie: Hey, Chelsea.

Chelsea: Billie?

Billie: Yeah, honey, I'm right here. Can I get you anything?

Chelsea: My parents -- are they okay?

Billie: The doctors are with them, but you need to rest, okay?

Chelsea: You're not gonna go anywhere, are you?

Billie: No. I'm not going anywhere.

Billie: I promised your mom I'd take care of you, and that's what I'm going to do.

[Telephone rings]

Bo: Ah, hold on. Let's find out who it is first.

Patrick: Hope, it's Patrick. If you're there, pick up.

Bo: Hey, hey. Ignore it. Hope, Hope, ignore it.

Hope: Patrick? Is everything okay?

Patrick: It's Abby. She's been in an accident. We're here at the hospital. Jennifer asked me to call you.

Hope: Oh, my God. Is Abby all right?

Bo: What's going on? What happened?

Patrick: She just got out of surgery. It looks like she's gonna be okay.

Hope: Oh, thank God. What happened? Is Jennifer all right?

Patrick: No, no, Jennifer wasn't involved. Abby was with Chelsea and her parents, and they were hit by a drunk driver on their way to dinner. Mrs. Benson, uh, she didn't make it, and Mr. Benson, well, he's in pretty bad shape.

Hope: What about Chelsea? Is she all right?

Patrick: She's stable, but they're not sure of the extent of her injuries yet.

Hope: Please tell Jennifer we're on our way, okay?

Patrick: I will. I'll see you soon.

Hope: Thanks for calling. We have to get to the hospital immediately. Let's go.

Cassie: What's that noise? It sounded like an explosion.

Marlena: Maybe a gas line, I don't know.

Cassie: The whole castle's on fire. What if they don't get out?

Marlena: No, don't say that. We've come too far to lose them now. Way too far.

Jack: [Groaning] Aah! [Groaning] Ahh. Ow. Aah! [Groaning] Roman? Roman? Oh, no. Oh, no. Oh, no, no. Come on. Don't be dead. Come on, Roman. Please. I know how to get you out of here. We're gonna get out of here. You hear me? I'm getting you out of here. Roman? Roman?

Victor: [Coughing] Caroline. Caroline, are you all right?

Caroline: I can't feel my legs.

Jack: Roman? [Groaning] Oh, Roman. Come on. Don't do this to me. You got to wake up. Damn it. Roman! Roman, you have to wake up! Roman!

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of Our Lives.

Cassie: They're not coming out.

Marlena: No, no, no. Don't you dare say that. One thing I know about your daddy -- he is a fighter. If there is breath in his body, he will not give up. He never will. He won't, sweetie. He won’t. I promise.

Jack: [Coughing] Roman? Listen to me. We're running out of time here. Roman. Marlena's outside. And Cassie -- your daughter -- she's outside. She's waiting for you. She's counting on you. Roman! We're all counting on you. You can't let us down. You can't let us down. That's it. I just had to say the magic words. I got you. Come on.

Roman: What the hell -- what the hell happened?

Jack: Some kind of a gas explosion. It took us all the way down here.

Roman: Cassie? Marlena?

Jack: Oh! They're outside. I think they're outside.

Roman: We gotta get the hell out of here. We gotta find them.

Jack: Yeah. This place is gonna blow. We got to get out before it blows with us.

Roman: Let's go.

Victor: Your legs are trapped under that beam. I'm gonna have to try and lift it off.

Caroline: Don't hurt yourself, Victor.

Victor: It's too heavy. I'm gonna have to find a lever somewhere. Don't worry, Caroline. I'll get you out.

Bart: Neither one of you are going anywhere.

Shawn-d: Look, if this is gonna take a long time, maybe we should just bag it, 'cause we gotta get moving.

Lucas: Damn! What's going on in here?

Shawn-d: Just hacking into the I.S.A. mainframe. We're getting some Intel on Philip.

Lucas: I.S.A. mainframe?

Shawn-d: Yeah. Did I stutter?

Brady: Did you get the stuff we need?

Lucas: Yeah, I did. I'll let that stutter line go. Check this out.

Shawn-d: What the --

Brady: Where did you get all that stuff?

Bonnie: I am telling you, do not say a word -- not one word.

Mimi: I am sick of all this. All the secrets, all the lies. I just want this all over with once and for all.

Tek: So you're saying you're waiving your rights?

Mimi: Yes, that's what I'm saying.

Bonnie: Sweetie, are you crazy? Do you even know what that means?

Mimi: Mom, for once, let me do something right.

Tek: Mimi, did you attack Jan Spears?

Mimi: No, I didn't attack her.

Jan: Oh!

Mimi: We were arguing, and she tripped. She fell and hit her head.

Tek: And you took off and left her for dead?

Bonnie: My baby wouldn't do that.

Mimi: I know it was wrong, but I didn't know what else to do. I was scared out of my mind, and I thought if I stuck around, that, I don't know, that the cops would maybe get the wrong idea.

Tek: Yeah, we did. Our first thought was that Jan had been mugged.

Mimi: I'm so sorry this happened. Okay, you have to believe me. I never wanted Jan to get hurt.

Tek: But it's no secret you're not Jan’s biggest fan.

Mimi: I'm not. She's a horrible person who's done a lot of horrible things -- more than anyone even knows.

Bonnie: Watch it, Meems.

Mimi: Mom, I waived my rights because I have nothing to hide, okay? I'm gonna tell Tek the truth -- all of it.

Patrick: Hey. So, how's she doing?

Billie: She's still pretty out of it. But they're gonna take her into surgery. How's Abby? Have you heard anything?

Patrick: Yeah, they expect her to be okay.

Billie: Thank God. Could you imagine how horrible it would be for Jennifer after losing Jack?

Patrick: No, no, and if anything happened to Abby, I honestly don't think Jennifer could have handled it.

Hope: Patrick, where is she? Where's Jennifer?

Patrick: She's with Abby. I could take you there. They only allow two people, though.

Bo: Okay, you go ahead. Give Jen my love.

Hope: Okay.

Bo: Billie, what are you doing here?

Billie: Patrick and I were the first ones at the scene of the accident.

Bo: You okay?

Billie: No.

Bo: Hey, hey, hey.

Lexie: She came out of surgery just fine. Of course, we'll be watching her very closely for hemorrhaging or any other complications.

Jennifer: But we still don't know for sure that she's gonna be all right, Lexie.

Lexie: I believe she will be. Listen, she's still not conscious yet, but why don't you go in and see her, okay?

Jennifer: Yeah, thanks.

Lexie: Okay.

[Monitor beeping]

Jennifer: Mommy's here, baby. It's your birthday, you know? Did you think I forgot? We're supposed to be having a surprise party for you right now. Oh... oh, baby.

Nicole: Look, I'm still not sure getting involved with you, whoever you are, is a good idea. I mean, just because you say you can help me doesn't mean you will.

Sami: Nicole, I know this may be hard for you to get, but this isn't about you. It's about Brady.

Nicole: Brady?

Sami: I want to make his life a living hell. And by sabotaging any chance he has with opera girl, I think we'll accomplish that.

Nicole: Excuse me?

Sami: Well, as long as she stays out of the picture, he'll end up married to you, and I can't imagine anything worse than that.

Nicole: How dare you? Brady loves me.

Sami: Yeah. Believe what you want. But if I were Brady and I knew the true love of my life were still alive, you'd mean about as much to me as a $2 whore.

Nicole: Why, you --

[Rex typing]

Brady: Lucas, where the hell did you get all this?

Lucas: I had a few contacts left over from my days as a DiMera associate.

Shawn-d: That's quite a stash.

Lucas: Yeah. I made a few calls, too. We got visas to get us where we're going in case we get into trouble. We should be all right.

Brady: All right, good job, man.

Shawn-d: Yeah. This is amazing.

Rex: Guys, guys, I think we're in luck.

Brady: What do you got, Rex?

Rex: I scanned the code, and no failsafe. All we have to do is enter John's password, and we're in.

Brady: All right.

Rex: Hello. This file is huge.

Brady: Open it up, man. Let's see what we got.

Rex: Dude, you weren't kidding when you said there was more information. I mean, this is everything we need to know.

Lucas: Nice.

Shawn-d: I gotta hand it to you, Brady. This was a great idea.

Kate: What the hell is going on in here?

Shawn-d: Or maybe not.

Cassie: Maybe we should split up and check around the castle, see if we can find dad and Jack.

Marlena: No, we'll stay together. Look, if we separated, your father would never forgive me if anything happened to you. Come on, come on.

[Jack and Roman coughing]

Jack: Uh-oh.

Roman: Ahh. Ahh.

Jack: Are you all right? Can you walk?

Roman: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. All right, we got to get Cassie and Marlena, get the hell out of here, get home.

Jack: Sounds good to me.

Roman: All right, let's go.

Jack: Watch it.

Victor: Bart, this is no time to play games. Help me get this beam off of Caroline. Can't you see she's hurt?

Bart: No, no, no, no, the count won't like this. I mean, it's not gonna work out. I mean, first Roman, Marlena, Jack, and Cassie fly the coop, and now you two fly? No, no, no. Won't make his day, especially if it's his last one.

Caroline: Roman and Marlena? Jack? Cassie? They were here? They're alive?

Bart: Damn, me and my big mouth!

Caroline: Did you hear that, Victor? My son's alive. My granddaughter. And they got away.

Victor: Well, right now we have to get away before it's too late. I'll pay you anything to help us.

Caroline: Please, please, I need to see my --

Victor: At least help me get this beam off of Caroline. Tony never needs to know.

Caroline: You've helped us once already. What difference does it make if you help us again?

Bart: Two wrongs don't make a right.

Victor: Keep us your prisoners. Throw us in another dungeon, I don't care. But don't leave us here to burn. I mean, at least not Caroline. Keep me behind if you have to.

Caroline: No, I'm not leaving you behind, Victor.

Victor: What do you say, Bart, we got a deal? Me for her.

Caroline: No.

Bart: You're really in love with her, aren't you?

Victor: I always have been. She is and always will be the love of my life.

Bart: That's beautiful, man. Aw, the hell with it. Come on, let's get this thing off her.

Victor: Thank you.

Bart: Yeah, you're welcome. Just hurry up. We don't have much time.

Caroline: Aah!

Jack: [Coughing]

Roman: My God. I don't believe it.

Cassie: We're too late. If they're in there, they're dead... or they will be very soon.

Bonnie: Tek, my daughter is innocent. Sure, she wasn't wild about Jan. But who is? We all know that girl is 2 cans short of a 6-pack. But what possible reason would my Mimi ever want to hurt her?

Tek: That is exactly what I want to know.

Mimi: I'll tell you what reason.

Bonnie: Mimi, no.

Mimi: I didn't try to kill Jan. That is the truth. Yeah, I wouldn't have been sorry if she had left town and never come back. You see, Tek, it all started several months ago when I found out that I was pregnant.

Bonnie: Oh, God, here we go.

Mimi: I didn't think Rex was ready to have kids yet, and I thought I would be ruining his life if I had the baby, so I didn't even tell him about it. I, uh... instead, I went behind his back and I had an abortion, and I have -- I have regretted it from the very first second. But what made things even worse was that Jan found out what I had done, and she started blackmailing me.

Tek: Threatening to tell Rex.

Mimi: Yes. I should have told the truth a long time ago. Then none of this would be happening right now.

Tek: Mimi, why exactly was Jan trying to blackmail you? What did she want?

Mimi: She wanted Shawn Brady. She made me promise that I'd help her keep him and Belle apart, and if I didn't, then she would tell Rex everything I did.

Tek: Sounds like we got motive.

Bonnie: No.

Tek: You wanted Jan out of the way so you could keep Rex in the dark about your lies. Isn't that right?

Mimi: Yeah. I hated her, and I wanted her dead.

Hope: Hey. Hi, sweetie.

Jennifer: Oh, I'm so glad that you're here.

Hope: Oh, sweetie, don't worry. Everything's gonna be all right. I spoke to Lexie. She said Abby’s going to be fine.

Jennifer: I'm just so scared, Hope. I am terrified. I can't lose her. You know that.

Hope: You won’t.

Jennifer: And I just feel like this is my fault. If I hadn't planned this whole surprise party, she never would have gone with the Bensons in the first place.

Hope: Jen, you can't blame yourself. There's only one person to blame here, and that's the drunk driver who hit them.

Jennifer: And why? Why do people drink and get behind the wheel of a car? Poor Chelsea -- she could lose both of her parents. Do you realize that? What is she gonna do if that happens?

Billie: I'm sorry. I'm sorry.

Bo: Hey, it's okay. Come here.

Billie: [Sighs] Thank you.

Bo: Here you go.

Billie: Bo, it was awful. When I was at the accident, I was holding Chelsea’s hand while we were waiting for the ambulance. And I couldn't help but think of our daughter. I pray to God that she and Abby are gonna be all right.

Woman: She's ready for the O.R., Dr. Carver.

Lexie: Good. Have the orderlies wheel her up and wait for my call. We still have to try and get consent from her father.

[Intercom buzzes]

Lexie: Dr. Carver. Oh, no. Okay, um... okay. Thanks for letting me know.

Bo: Here's Lexie.

Billie: Lexie, how is she? How's Chelsea?

Lexie: Well, uh, she should be going into surgery right now, but we just got some more bad news.

Bo: What is it?

Lexie: Her father. We lost him.

Nicole: You bastard! Who the hell do you think you are?

Sami: Your worst nightmare now. I don't care how much I want to see Brady suffer. I'm calling him right now and telling him his fiancée is still alive.

Nicole: No, no, no. No, no, please don't do that. You can’t.

Sami: I can, and I will. Unless you apologize and promise to behave yourself.

Nicole: Apologize? You called me a whore.

Sami: Fine.

Nicole: All right, all right, all right, all right. I apologize. I'm sorry for hitting you. I'm just a little sensitive about that.

Sami: I need to know that we can work together, Nicole. Do you want my help or not?

Nicole: Yes, of course. I'll do whatever it takes to hang on to Brady.

Sami: That's what I thought. Now listen up, because you only have one shot to keep ghoul girl away from him.

Nicole: Okay, I'm listening. Just tell me what I need to do.

Sami: Nothing too tough. You just need to see to it that her reconstructive surgery never happens.

Kate: Someone needs to answer me, and they need to answer me right now. What's going on? What is all this?

Brady: Kate, it's dad's undercover access to the I.S.A. mainframe, among other things. We just needed some information, okay?

Kate: Oh, I see. Okay. So John knows about this? He knows you're here? He knows you're doing this?

Brady: Well, n-no. Not exactly. I can explain, okay? This is about Philip. We want to find Philip and bring him home, so we need some up-to-the-minute intelligence.

Kate: I don't believe this. So you are actually listening to Shawn Brady. You're buying in to his ridiculous scheme.

Lucas: Mom, please, calm down.

Kate: No, I won't calm down. I don't believe this. Lucas, Rex, don't you realize that by interfering with the I.S.A.'s work, you could be putting Philip’s life in more danger than it already is?

Brady: Kate, we promise, we're not gonna do anything to endanger Philip’s life or anybody else's during this rescue mission.

Kate: No. No, you can't promise me that, because you don't know a damn thing about what any of you are doing. I'm not just gonna stand idly by while you put Philip’s life in danger and your own lives at risk. Forget about it, all right? I'm calling John now, and I'm going to put a stop to this right now.

Rex: I'm sorry, mom. I can't let you do that.

Marlena: [Coughs]

Both: Aah!

Cassie: [Gasping]

Jack: Okay, careful.

Roman: Oh. Look what I got here.

Jack: Is that a satellite phone?

Roman: You're damn right it is. That could come in handy.

Jack: All right. Aah!

Cassie: Let's face it, Marlena -- I don't see how anybody in there could have survived.

Marlena: Oh, honey, I --

Roman: Aah!

Marlena: Oh! Roman! Roman, oh!

Roman: Oh.

Jack: We made it. I told you we'd make it. Come here.

Roman: Oh.

Jack: We did it. We did it, Cassie. We did it. We did it. Oh.

Marlena: Roman.

Bonnie: Meems, for the last time, stop this insanity. Why are you confessing to something you didn't even do?

Mimi: I'm not confessing, mom. I am doing something I should have done from the very beginning. I am telling the whole truth. I hated Jan Spears with every bone in my body. She was threatening to ruin my whole life, so, yes, it wouldn't be very hard to prove that I had motive. But I didn't try to kill her. What happened was an accident, and I shouldn't have run away, but like I said, I was scared, so... I took the coward's way out -- again.

Tek: Is there anything else?

Mimi: No. Now you know everything, so if you're going to arrest me, just do it. Let's just put the cuffs on and get this over with.

Tek: Relax. I'm not going to arrest you -- at least not yet.

Bonnie: You're not? Oh, God!

Mimi: Why not?

Tek: That's -- that's good.

Bonnie: Sorry.

Tek: Well, I just happen to know that things aren't always how they look. Years ago, my sister found herself in a similar situation. She was being blackmailed, and, uh... it ended up costing her... well, more than she bargained for.

Mimi: So you believe me. You believe that I didn't try to kill her.

Tek: Well, I'm going to have to talk to her. Hopefully I'll get a chance to do that at some point. And if she corroborates your story, yeah, you'll be off the hook.

Bonnie: Oh, baby.

Tek: But if she dies, I'm going to have no choice but to arrest you for her murder. Now, in the meantime, I don't want you leaving. I don't want you leaving town. All right, now, you two get home. I'm going to -- I'm going to lock up here.

Bonnie: Come on, honey. Let's go.

Tek: [Sighs]

Bonnie: Oh, thank God. Thank God you're safe. He didn't arrest you.

Mimi: What do you mean -- I'm safe?

Bonnie: He believed you. He believed it was an accident. Now all Jan has to do is wake up for five minutes, and you are --

Mimi: And what?! Mother, don't you see? It doesn't matter. Whether Jan lives or dies, I am doomed either way.

Lexie: Billie, um... they did everything they could, but he already lost so much blood.

Billie: Oh, my God. It's really happened. She -- she's lost both her parents. What's going to happen to her now?

Lexie: A more urgent question right now is who will give consent for her surgery. According to hospital records, she has no next of kin.

Billie: But isn't she 18?

Lexie: Yeah, yeah, but, uh, under the circumstances where she isn't fully conscious or lucid, it would be nice to have an adult who can make decisions and sign for her.

Billie: Could I do it? Well, I promised Mrs. Benson that I would take care of Chelsea if anything happened to her. I-I promised.

Lexie: Well, I -- I suppose so. Uh, but we need someone who actually witnessed that that was her wish.

Billie: Well, there was -- there was an E.M.T. there. His name was Walt or something. He witnessed it.

Lexie: Walt, okay. Um, this is highly unusual, but given the circumstances, where Chelsea’s surgery is urgent, we really have no choice. Okay, I'll see if I can find him.

Bo: Hey, this is an incredible thing you're doing here, Billie -- taking responsibility for a girl you don't even know.

Billie: I feel like I do know her. And I just keep thinking that if that was Georgia in there, I'd want someone to step up and do the same for her. Besides the promise that I made to her mother, I kind of... I helped save her life, so... I guess I am responsible, aren't I?

Bo: That's what they say.

Billie: I just wish I could have done more to help save her parents.

Bo: Hey. I'm sorry. You did everything you could.

Bonnie: Whoa. What are you talking about? Why are you doomed?

Mimi: If Jan dies, I'll be arrested for murder, and if she doesn't, she'll lie and tell Tek that I tried to kill her, and then I'll be arrested for attempted murder.

Bonnie: Oh, baby girl, why didn't you just keep quiet? At least if Jan dies, you would have had a chance, but now Tek knows you had a motive for wanting her dead.

Mimi: What difference does it make? My whole life is already over anyway. When Rex finds out what I did, I'll have lost him forever.

Nicole: Uh... that's a-a nice idea, but just how do you expect me to stop Chloe’s operation?

Sami: Don't worry... nurse Nicole. Your friend Stan has it all figured out. Together... we're going to make sure the ugly duckling never turns into a swan.

Kate: You can't let me? I'd like to know how you're going to stop me.

Rex: Just hear us out, okay? 'Cause I know if you listen to what we have to say, you'll do the right thing for your son and for my brother. Mom, look, so far, the government, the I.S.A., and John haven't been able to help him.

Kate: Oh, God. You're all completely delusional. Although I do think your hearts are in the right place, except for this one, because the only reason that Shawn wants Philip to be found and rescued is so that he can steal his wife, and the sooner Philip comes back to town, then the sooner you can break his heart, and you and Belle can be together, right?

Shawn-d: Are you done? That's not true. I want to see Philip home safe as much as everyone else here.

Kate: Oh, please, save it. It's always about you, isn't it? And you know the thing that I really resent -- that you dragged my sons into this, because I think -- isn't it bad enough that Philip’s life is in danger, now you have to put Lucas and Rex, their lives at risk, too? Is there no end to your selfishness?

Lucas: Mom, listen to me. You got it all wrong, all right? He didn't drag us into anything. He told us about his plan, and then we all thought about it very carefully and made our own decisions.

Kate: Oh, come on, Lucas. This is the most absurd, the most ill-conceived thing that I've ever heard of. You're in way over your heads, and I'm just not going to let you do it.

Brady: Kate, with all due respect, you can't stop us.

Kate: Maybe I can't, but John and the I.S.A. can, and that's why I'm going to call John, and there's nothing you can do to stop me.

Marlena: Roman, I was so scared. We heard explosions. What happened?

Cassie: We thought you weren't coming out.

Roman: Well, I wouldn't have if it hadn't been for Jack. He risked his life to save me.

Cassie: You're a hero.

Marlena: You are. Thank you, Jack.

Jack: Well, just save your thanks for later.

Jack: Really -- we need to get out of here, and fast.

Cassie: Daddy, I want to go home.

Roman: That's exactly where we're going, sweetheart.

Marlena: Roman, where'd you get the phone?

Roman: Found it in the castle on the way out.

Cassie: Who are you calling?

Roman: A buddy of mine from the I.S.A. who owns a plane. We'll be in Salem by morning.

Caroline: [Coughing]

Victor: [Coughing]

Caroline: Oh. Oh.

Victor: You all right?

Caroline: Oh. I am now. We did it, Victor. We got out.

Victor: It's really over. We're going home.

Bart: Count DiMera! Sir! Where the hell are you? Yell if you can hear me! Moan! Anything! Count! Count D. --

Bart: No. No, sir. You -- you can't be dead. You can't be dead.

Patrick: Hey. Hey, I thought you could use this.

Jennifer: Oh, thanks.

Patrick: So, um, how is she?

Jennifer: Well, she hasn't woken up yet, but she's -- she's okay. She's stable.

Patrick: Well, she'll probably sleep through the night. You know, maybe you should try getting some rest.

Jennifer: No.

Patrick: I can see if there's an empty bed or something.

Jennifer: I'm fine. I'm going to stay here in case she wakes up.

Patrick: I understand. Um... in case you fall asleep.

Jennifer: Thank you, Patrick. You're always here when we need you.

Patrick: I always will be.

Bo: Hey. How's Abby and Jen?

Hope: Jennifer's taking it really hard. But luckily, Abby’s going to be okay. How's Chelsea? Any word on her father?

Bo: Chelsea's going into surgery, and... her father didn't make it.

Hope: Oh, my God, no.

Lexie: Billie, I spoke to the E.M.T. at the scene of the accident, and he confirmed what Mrs. Benson said. I've already given the go-ahead to start Chelsea’s surgery. I just need you to sign this formal consent.

Hope: I can't believe she lost both her parents.

Lexie: What's really sad is that it could have been prevented.

Bo: What do you mean?

Lexie: Well, I was just speaking with Dr. Bloom, who tried so hard to save Mr. Benson's life, and we both agreed -- if the E.M.S. had only gotten there sooner, Mr. and Mrs. Benson might have survived. Thank you.

Bo: Oh, man. It's too bad you didn't call me, Billie. I would have done something to speed up the process.

Billie: I did call you, Bo. But hope wouldn't let me talk to you. She told me to leave you alone and hung up on me, so if anyone's responsible for this tragedy, it's her.

Bo: If I had known about this accident, I could have gotten Chelsea’s parents here to the hospital sooner.

Billie: They're dead because of you, Hope.

Belle: You're not doing this because you love me. You're doing this because it's easier, and as usual, you're putting your needs ahead of mine and everyone else’s.

Rex: You seem relieved that I'll be out of touch. Mimi, is something going on that you don't want me to know about?

Brady: Do you mind if I pray here?
