Kate: Flushing this garbage isn't the biggest mistake I could make. The biggest mistake I could make is to let you continue racing down this path of self-destruction that you're on. And I care about you too much to let that happen without a fight.

John: And how much do you care about Philip?

Kate: He's my son, and I love him. Why?

John: 'Cause if you trash those drugs, you're signing his death warrant.

Kate: John...

John: That wasn't meant to be a threat, just a simple fact. Now, the way I see it, you got two choices -- you can turn me in to the cops for using those drugs, or you can turn those drugs over to me so I can help your boy.

Kate: John...

John: I want to help him! Damn it. I can't do anything when I'm half out of my mind with this pain and withdrawals. Now, do you want me to help him? If you do, just give me the damn drugs.

Sami: I can't believe no one knows it's me, not even the man who raised me. Of course, he is totally strung out now. But still... I hate you, John Black. You are so going down. Moving right along to my next victims -- uncle Bo and aunt Hope. You don't really need my help to be miserable. Billie Reed can take care of that all by herself.

Girl's voice: Mommy. Mommy.

Billie: It can't be.

Girl's voice: Mommy, why won't you come and save me?

Billie: Georgia? It's okay, sweetheart. I'm here. Mommy's coming to you, sweetheart. Don't be scared, okay? Don't be scared.

Billie: Oh, God.

Hope: If anything happens to Shawn tonight, I will never forgive you. I mean it. If Shawn gets hurt tonight because you chose to stay with Billie instead of coming with me to help your son, then we are through.

Bo: Hope, if he didn't listen to you, he wasn't gonna listen to me. Look, he -- he went for a ride on his bike to blow off some steam. I'm sure he's all right.

Hope: Are you not hearing me? He's had two accidents already. He has a suspended license, for God's sake.

Bo: That's why I have my men out there looking for him. Don't make this any worse than it already is. Shawn is in trouble. Georgia is in trouble. There's no reason we have to be. We made it through a hell of a lot worse than this, haven't we?

Hope: Yeah, we have. Stefano and Tony and Larry Welch and Billie have all tried to tear our family apart. And they couldn't do it. We made it.

Bo: Yeah. We're stronger than ever.

Hope: I always thought so. But now, for some reason I will never understand, you're choosing to let Billie come between us.

Bo: No, Hope. You are.

Hope: Why do her needs always take priority over everything that matters to our family? Every time we've needed you, you haven't been there. I've asked, I've pleaded, I've begged... nothing ever changes. I-I don't know what else to do. And I meant what I said. If something happens to Shawn tonight, I will never ever forgive you. And there is no way I could ever stay married to a man who would hurt his family like this.

Belle: Shawn? Wait! Wait! Shawn, wait!

[Motorcycle engine starts]

Belle: Shawn!

[Motorcycle rumbles away]

Belle: No, Shawn... Shawn, no!

Belle: [Sobs]

Belle: Shawn! Shawn!

Belle: Shawn, are you okay? Shawn. Shawn!

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of Our Lives.

Bo: So you've decided to end this marriage if something happens to Shawn tonight? We have no idea where he is, but... you're pinning the future of our family on... something terrible that might happen to Shawn. God forbid something ha-- something happens to him, but if it does, how much worse would it be for him and for us if we couldn't be there to support him together?

Hope: We're responsible for our choices, Bo. That includes you. What if I had told you I was going to leave you if you didn't leave Billie and come and help me with Shawn tonight? Would you have reacted differently?

Bo: I wouldn't have believed you, Hope. I don't believe you now.

Hope: You better start. I never in my life thought that I would be saying these words. But I've come to the end of my understanding about Billie and her needs. I'm a mother. I understand how it feels to be frightened for a child. But she wants you to sacrifice our children for hers.

Bo: I am a father frightened for my child, Hope. And Billie is the one who wanted me to go.

Hope: Yeah, and you're the one who keeps choosing not to. What's that? What's happened to you as a father? Bo, you need to be there for your boys. And here I am, defending the right of Shawn and Zack to be protected by their own dad.

Bo: Let me ask you something. If the situation were reversed, and Shawn or Zack were missing for years, how would you --

Hope: You're married to me.

Bo: All right...

Hope: Bo, you're married to me. You're not married to Billie. And the situations aren't at all the same. And if Billie gets her way, our marriage will be over.

Bo: You're wrong about her motives.

Hope: Look, I know that you buy into her innocent act, but I don’t. She's come between us before. She has lied, she has manipulated, she has made our life a living hell on purpose.

Hope: I know you share a child together. I know you were in love with her once, but can't you see how -- can't you see how hard this is for me? Now she's living under our roof, monopolizing every conversation.

Bo: I don't see why it has to be that way.

Hope: You have no idea what's going on in your son's life, do you? Admit it. You didn't even ask me what happened tonight at Shawn’s.

Bo: That's not true. As soon as -- all right, I'll ask again. What happened?

Hope: Kate came to me and said that Belle was cheating on Philip with Shawn. And she was adamant about me doing something about it right there and then, going straight to Shawn’s. But of course she didn't want you to go. She didn't want you to do anything about it, because she wanted you to stay at the hospital with Billie.

Bo: It's not Billie’s fault that Kate’s a nutcase.

Hope: Stop! Stop defending her! Defend me! Tell me you're gonna be there for me, Bo. Me and our boys, like you used to be. I can't count on you anymore.

Bo: That's not true.

Hope: Where are you going?

Hope: Oh, Shawn, honey, where are you?

Belle: Shawn, Shawn, Shawn, can you hear me? Shawn, wake up! Oh, my God. I can't lose you! Um... I'm calling an ambulance. You're gonna be okay. You're gonna be all right. Oh, no, no signal. Damn it, what am I gonna do? Okay, you're gonna be okay. Do you hear me? Um... oh, thank God. Um...

Shawn-d: Belle...

Belle: Okay.

Shawn-d: Belle...

Belle: Okay, we're gonna get you to a hospital. We're gonna get you to a hospital.

Belle: Wait, no, no, just -- don't move. Just stay still.

Shawn-d: I'm fine.

Belle: No...

Shawn-d: [Groans]

Belle: Shawn? No, Shawn! Oh, my God! Shawn! Shawn!

Girl's voice: Mommy, save me, save me!

Billie: God... what kind of sick person does something like this?

Billie: Who's there? All right, come out, you sick, sick bastard! Come on!

Billie: You.

John: I'm just telling you the way it is. Do you know anyone else who works for the I.S.A. and was a mercenary for Stefano DiMera? I know how they think. They're trained killers, and there was a time I was, too, and that's not a brag. That's just... a cold, hard, rude fact of my life that makes me the man you need to save your son. The only man. But I can't do it in my present condition here because my mind is like oatmeal mush, and I'm in so much pain I can't focus. I should be sitting down at the computer right now trying to pinpoint the location of your boy. And let me guarantee you something -- the marines do not have the know-how I do. Let me do this for you, Kate.

John: Let me do it for Philip. And Belle. I want to bring my daughter's husband home to her safe and sound.

Billie: Patrick! What the hell are you doing? You scared me to death!

Patrick: I'm looking for Jennifer’s daughter Abby. She missed curfew...again.

Billie: What are you, her keeper or something?

Patrick: No. It's just Jennifer gets very worried when she doesn't know where Abigail is.

Billie: I can relate. What's the matter? Is Abby in trouble or something?

Patrick: No, no, it's nothing like that. It's just, uh... she missed her curfew, she's out with her friend, she lost track of time... you know, kid stuff. Uh... what's up with you right here? You okay?

Billie: I heard this little girl's voice. It turned out to be this doll.

Patrick: Oh, my God, the sweater says "Georgia."

Billie: It's creepy, right?

Patrick: Yeah. What did the voice say?

Billie: "Mommy... mommy, why won't you save me?"

Patrick: Oh, Billie, I'm sorry.

Billie: Damn it, I'm angry! I am angry! Someone's trying to set me up. I'm starting to think that all the clues, all the messages that I've gotten... they've all just been tricks.

Patrick: Okay, okay, you know what? You shouldn't be out here alone at night. It's not safe.

Billie: Oh, come on, Patrick. I'm a cop. I can take care of myself. I just... I shouldn't let this get to me so much.

Patrick: Look, it's your daughter. She's missing. How could it not?

Billie: I got this... phone call earlier. This creepy voice. This -- this guy saying that Georgia was suffering because of me and that her whole life has been miserable because I abandoned her when she was a baby.

Patrick: I'm sorry, Billie.

Billie: I didn't, you know? I didn’t. They told me she died.

Patrick: I know.

Billie: I know that Tony’s dead. I know that Stefano’s dead. But unfortunately, the DiMera organization is still going strong. They're still in the business of destroying people's lives.

Billie: You worked for Tony on the island. You must know something. You must know why they're doing this to me, Patrick.

Patrick: If I had a clue, I would be doing everything possible to stop them from doing it. I hope you believe me.

Billie: Bo doesn't trust you.

Patrick: Yeah.

Billie: Hey. I do.

Patrick: Good. Then why don't you tell me everything that's happened so far, and maybe we can figure out who's doing this.

Billie: Okay. It could be someone we know.

Patrick: Yeah, someone very screwed up.

Billie: Yeah, well, ha ha ha ha, that's pretty funny, because that's the whole town of Salem. They're all a bunch of wack jobs, if you ask me.

Patrick: Yeah, no kidding. But if it is someone we know, they're working undercover through the DiMera organization.

Billie: And they're taking great pleasure in my suffering.

Sami: [Thinking] If your life ends up getting destroyed, oh, well... you're Kate’s daughter, and you both deserve it.

Sami: Damn you, Kate. You set me up. And everybody believes you. Everybody thinks that I went to the Jet Way Inn to sleep with Brandon, when all I wanted to do was tell him to stay away from Salem until Lucas and I could be married. God. You must've -- you must've drugged Brandon and drugged me. Oh, why didn't I think of having a blood test or something last night? Damn it. And then you made Lucas walk in on us naked in bed together. And that is the end of me and Lucas. Well, Kate, you are gonna pay for what you have done to me.

Sami: Your whole family's going down, Kate. Every last damn one of 'em.

Tony: [Distorted voice] Now, you know what to do. Follow my instructions to the letter. You will be pleasantly surprised at the results.

Sami: Man, whoever this guy is, he's a genius. I mean... he knows exactly how to ruin people's lives. It almost makes up for everything I've lost.

[Knock on door]

Sami: Hey, hey, the surprises just keep coming.

Sami: This is so good. Whoever you are, you are the evil genius of all time.

Sami: Gotcha, didn't we?

Girl's voice: Mommy. Mommy. Why won't you save me?

Sami: Oh, this is great. Oh... Billie won't know what hit her. Ha ha ha ha! And then there was the twisted ness on tape and now this doll. Billie's headed right over the edge. Buh-bye.

Billie: Bo and I had D.N.A. tests run on this lock of hair. It was a match. I don't have my daughter, but I have a lock of her hair. The lab tech said that the sample was recently collected, so she was alive when we -- at least she was -- when -- she is alive, and I'm gonna find her. Oh, my God. I just had a thought, Patrick. What if -- what if Georgia’s real hair is on this doll?

Patrick: I don't know. It feels synthetic, but, uh... you know, we can have it tested if it'll make you feel better.

Billie: Yeah, yeah, I'm gonna do that.

Patrick: You know, Billie, I'd like to be able to do some legwork for you on this, but, uh, I'm guessing Bo doesn't want to get me involved.

Billie: Um... Patrick, there's something I need to tell you about Bo.

Hope: Belle, honey, if you there, please pick up. Damn it, Belle, have you heard from Shawn? If you do, call me. You know what? In fact, call me as soon as you get this message, honey, regardless. I'm really worried about him. Okay. Bye.

Bo: No one on the force has seen Shawn or his bike.

Hope: I called the hospital.

Bo: The hospital? Whoa, wait a minute. There's no evidence that he's in any kind of trouble. Maybe you're so much more worried because you're angry at me right now.

Hope: Am I not allowed to be worried about our son?

Bo: Hope, slow down. Yes. You're allowed to be worried. I am, too. But he's a good kid. We used to know who Shawn was. He used to want to talk to us. This last summer, running away, disappearing all that time -- he's getting really good at disappearing and making us worry, isn't he? I guess he takes after you.

Bo: He takes after his feisty mother, too. And one good thing he's learned from both of us is that he's self-sufficient. He's obviously talking to Belle again. He's gotten that crazy woman Jan out of his life. His life is getting back to normal, and ours will, too, very soon. You know what? I was gonna save this for Easter, but I kinda figured you needed it right about now.

Hope: Another gift. You keep doing this like everything's supposed to make it okay.

Bo: Will you just open it? Please?

Hope: Oh, Bo.

Bo: Look at her -- the most beautiful bride in the world. And over here, little baby Shawn with his mom and dad getting ready to sail off on the Fancy Face.

Hope: Look at Zack and his dad.

Bo: Mm-hmm.

Hope: The family portrait of all four of us.

Bo: Together.

Bo: You know what? I never thought of myself as a family man. But then I fell in love with you, and... it all kinda came naturally, like the most comfortable thing in the world. You found this guy -- an angry, confused man -- and you turned me into someone who could... be a pretty darn good father most of the time. It was your love, Hope. It just brings out the best in me.

Bo: I'll always be here for you and the boys.

Hope: This gift... the words you just said... I know you mean them.

Hope: I know our love has been strong... for so many years, through so many problems. But I'm really afraid that this time, our love isn't strong enough to hold this family together, Bo.

Belle: Shawn, Shawn, Shawn, stay with me. Stay with me. Okay. Okay, can you move your legs? Can you move your legs? Come on. Good. Good. Good. How about your wrists? Do they hurt? Are they broken?

Shawn-d: No, no, I don't think so. I think they're fine.

Belle: Okay, good. Okay, I tried to make a call on my cell phone, but I can't get a signal. Oh, maybe your phone...

Shawn-d: Yeah, I don't think that's gonna work.

Belle: I'm not gonna make a call on that. Okay, so we can't call an ambulance, so I'm just gonna have to take you in my car.

Shawn-d: What? No, no.

Belle: Shawn, you weren't wearing a helmet. You just got thrown from your bike. You were unconscious. Do you not remember that you just had brain surgery?

Shawn-d: I do not have a head injury. [Groans]

Belle: What? No, you have to get checked out. Come on.

Shawn-d: No!

Belle: Okay. What is the matter with you? What, do you want to die?

Kate: No. I can't let you have them.

John: You know, some people might say there's really not much point in living when you've lost as much as we've lost. I've lost my wife, and Belle lost her mom, and you -- you've lost your husband. And the way I read it, that was your one chance to really be happy, Kate. So all we really got, you and me, is our kids, right? The future of our entire family is at stake right now. It all rides on keeping Philip alive and bringing him home safe, and the more we argue about these damned --

Kate: No, I don't want to hear it! I know that I couldn't live through that -- not my son.

John: All right. Well, then you know what you gotta do.

Kate: And what if your children lose you because of these drugs, what happens then?

John: Aw, come on, have a little faith. I know what I can handle. I'm gonna go take a hot shower and clean myself up and get ready to go to work. Why don't you think about it?

Kate: God... this is karma. This is my payback for breaking up Sami and Lucas. This is my punishment.

Kate: This is one problem I can't blame on Sami Brady.

Sami: [Thinking] Kate Roberts -- public enemy number one. You ruined my family with Will and Lucas, and now I'm going to ruin yours. Your granddaughter Georgia is never going to be a part of your life, or Billie’s. Let's see -- Philip’s being held hostage, and I didn't even have anything to do with that one. Plus the bonus that my sister's now miserable, too. And Belle doesn't even know yet that her dad's a druggie. This is working out better than my wildest dreams. If I can't live happily ever after with Lucas and Will, at least I can live for revenge.

Billie: My mom's been, uh, pretty set on getting me and Bo back together. She's done some pretty underhanded things to make that happen. No matter how many times I tell her that I don't want to break up Bo and Hope's marriage, but...

Patrick: But what?

Billie: [Sighs] I'm talking to a friend, right?

Patrick: Yeah, of course. Anything you say to me will stay between the two of us.

Billie: When I fantasize about finding Georgia, Bo’s always with me.

Patrick: Hey, you guys are searching for her together. It's only natural.

Billie: No. No, it's more than that. I dream about us being together as a family -- me, Bo, and Georgia. So I'm lying to my mother and to Bo and to Hope. But for the first time in years, I'M... being honest with myself. I want to be with Bo now more than ever.

Shawn-d: [Groans] Oh, for gosh sake, I am not going to die. I got a little banged up from falling, but I don't need any stitches. I'm going to be fine, okay? Just take me home, please.

Belle: Shawn, Shawn, you could have a concussion and not even know it. What happens if you go home and something happens to you? Just let me take care of you. It'll just take a little while to go to the hospital. Stop taking chances with your life like this. Just let Lexie take a look at you.

Shawn-d: No, she's going to go straight to my mom, and she'll lose it. She didn't want me to take this motorcycle out tonight. And my father -- he'll go ballistic.

Belle: You had an accident. How are you going to hide that from them?

Shawn-d: My parents are cops, I'm driving on a suspended license, and I've had something to drink tonight. Do you want me to get in trouble again?

Belle: I want you to be alive.

Shawn-d: Well, I don't want to go to jail, and this accident would seal it. As soon as I get out of the hospital, they would put me behind bars, okay? That's why I can't have this going on my record. Hey, so long as I got you to take care of me, everything will be all right. Right?

Belle: I'd do anything for you. I love you.

Shawn-d: You know, it's worth the accident just to hear you say that.

Belle: Your parents are going to find out. They always find out. Your dad called earlier. He was looking for you.

Shawn-d: Yeah, well, they haven't found out yet. Help me up.

Belle: Wait, wait. Come here. Okay. I got you. Okay. I got you.

Hope: I know you love me. That's not anything I have any doubts about. I couldn't possibly love you any more than I already do.

Bo: Well, isn't that the most important thing?

Hope: No.

Bo: Why?

Hope: Our family has been through so much -- all of us, but especially Shawn. Bo, his life has drifted so far from what he's always imagined it to be -- my God, he's too young to lose his dreams. If there was ever a time a son needed his parents, this is it. We've failed our son. We failed Shawn. And Zack could turn out the same way if things don't change. Bo, you need to be a hands-on father. You need to be there for your sons like they expect you to, like you've always been. They need to know they can come to you with their problems. These are our children.

Bo: And I love them. And if I've failed them in any way like you say I have, I will change, unless it means I sacrifice my daughter. Hope, I just found out that Georgia is alive, and I'm not going to turn my back and say it's too late to be a father to her. That -- that phone call that Billie got -- that tape that you just listened to suggests that she's in some kind of danger, she's suffering somehow. I'm not going to let that continue.

Hope: Shawn's life is blowing up right in front of your face, and you're finding it pretty damn easy to ignore it, Brady.

Bo: What are you ta-- I've got people out looking for him. I'm the first call they'll make if they find him. I'm going to keep it quiet so that he doesn't get into any danger and go to jail. I'm thinking about his future.

Hope: It may be too late.

Bo: For who -- Shawn or us?

Philip: Mom, I don't think I have much time here. But I want you to know how much I love you and how much I appreciate everything you have done for me. You've been an amazing mother.

Kate: I can't let them take your life. I've always said there isn't anything I wouldn't do for my children. But can I do this? Can I risk John's life to save Philip’s?

Girl's voice: Mommy abandoned me. Why does mommy hate her little girl?

Billie: Make it stop.

Girl's voice: Mommy. Mommy.

Billie: Make the damn doll stop!

Sami: [Thinking] Oh, Billie, I love to see you cry, but you can't get any closer to Patrick. You still have to wreck Bo and Hope's marriage. I'm counting on you.

Billie: Why are they doing this to me? It's torture.

[Metal scraping]

Patrick: What was that?

Billie: What?

Patrick: I heard something. I can't tell where it came from in this fog, but...

Billie: Hey, wait, wait. Not without me, you don’t.

Patrick: Shh. No. You stay here.

Kate: Oh, please, Roman... I can't make this decision on my own. I need to know what you would do.

John: So what's it going to be, Katherine? Kate? Kate?! Oh, no, no, no. No, no, no. Kate? No, no, no. Damn you, woman! Aah! Aah! Damn you, Kate.

Sami: [Thinking] Oh, my God, what am I going to do?

Hope: It will be too late for us. If something happens to Shawn, how could it not be? But we've had this conversation how many times? And I kept telling you you couldn't keep putting Shawn at the bottom of your list.

[Cellular phone rings]

Bo: Brady.

Casarez: Commander, Officer Casarez. We found your son's bike.

Bo: Where?

Casarez: Lookout point. It's been in a wreck, but Shawn’s not here. It's like he disappeared.

Bo: I'll be right there.

Hope: What? What? What happened?

Bo: Hope, take it easy.

Hope: No, no! If Shawn got hurt, I will never forgive you, Bo! I will never, ever forgive you!

Belle: I don't feel right about this, Shawn. I should be getting you to a hospital. I'm not a nurse. What if something happens to you and I don't know what to do? Shawn? Shawn? Shawn, wake up. Oh, my God, Shawn, wake up! Wake up! Shawn!

Hope: You had your chance to be there for me and your son. You chose to stay with Billie instead. You made your choice. Now I'm making mine.

Lexie: John needs help, not another fix.

Abe: John Black's doing drugs?

Patrick: Who the hell is doing this?

Billie: I don't know. Bo's going to think it's you.

Sami: The happy life you've got planned with Rex Brady is doomed. You're doomed.
