Shawn-d: I cannot believe Mimiís going through this.
Belle: I know.
Shawn-d: Listen, you got to decide. You got to tell Philip that we're going to be together, that your future is not with him.
Belle: This is not the time.
Shawn-d: Because of Mimi.
Belle: Yes, I'm worried sick about her.
Shawn-d: I am, too. You know that.
Belle: Yeah, and I'm not going to break Philipís heart while he's overseas fighting for our country, for all of us.
Shawn-d: I know that what I'm asking is not easy --
Belle: No, it's impossible, and I want your word that you're not going to tell him, either. No phone call, no e-mail, no letter, nothing. Promise?
Shawn-d: Yes, I promise.
Belle: Okay. Let's go check on Mimi.
Shawn-d: All right.
Belle: Oh, hey, have you heard anything?
Rex: Something's wrong. I can feel it.
Dr. Aubrey: I need to know whether she received follow-up care, and if she's been having complications all along from the abortion.
Woman: We could ask her boyfriend.
Dr. Aubrey: What's his name again?
Woman: Rex Brady.
Dr. Aubrey: Keep an eye on her. Let's hope the antibiotics start working soon.
Rex: Doctor, uh... has Mimi regained consciousness?
Dr. Aubrey: Not yet.
Rex: Have you figured out what's wrong with her?
Dr. Aubrey: Yes, I think I have.
Rex: I mean, whatever it is, it's treatable, right? Mimi's going to be okay, isn't she?
Dr. Aubrey: Let's go somewhere where we can speak privately.
Belle: Something is really wrong, Shawn.
Shawn-d: No, no, everything's going to be fine.
Belle: No, well, then, why wouldn't the doctor tell Rex that in front of us?
Shawn-d: It's just hospital regulations. Doctor-patient confidentiality thing. I'm sure she's just trying to avoid a lawsuit. Hey, everything is going to be all right, okay?
Rex: How serious is it?
Dr. Aubrey: Potentially very. I need to ask you some questions about Mimiís recent medical history.
Rex: Whatever you want to know.
Bonnie: What have you done to my baby? You tell me, and you tell me now!
John: Give me the drugs.
Brady: Sorry, I'm not going to give these back to you and watch you poison yourself over and over again.
John: Give me -- give me the drugs. Come on.
Brady: You know what I'm going to do? I'm going to give Kate a call, and we'll talk to Lexie, and -- and she'll find a solution to -- to your problem here.
John: The only solution to my problem is in your hands, so why don't you just give me the damn drugs?!
Brady: Aah! God!
Man: Hold it right there!
Sami: Brandon? God.
Lucas: Mom's private investigator was wrong. I'm going to prove it. I may not know where Sami is, but I sure as hell know she's not in that hotel room with Brandon Walker.
Kate: Hey. What's going on?
Lucas: Open up.
Kate: Did Lucas get there yet?
Eugenia: Yes, finally. He's knocking at the door as we speak. I was so afraid that those drugs that you gave Sami and Brandon were going to wear off, but they didnít. Sami is finally going down.
Kate: I want to hear all the details.
Lucas: Open up. Hello? Anybody in there?
[Knocking on door]
Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of Our Lives.
Man: Put your hands in the air where we can see 'em!
Man #2: Yo, buddy, that means you, too. He's out cold, and he's messed up pretty bad.
Man: Did you do this to him?
Brady: Look, I can explain.
Man #2: Yeah, they always can.
Brady: No, you don't understand. This man is my father.
Man: And that's why you beat the crap out of him?
Brady: No, I didnít. It was --
Man: It was what?
Brady: It's a complicated situation, all right?
John: My son's telling the truth.
Brady: Dad? Here.
Man #2: Let's book 'em both for disturbing the peace.
Man: That's not all we're going to book 'em for. The family that plays together. Cuff 'em.
Kate: I need all the details. Has Lucas found them yet?
Eugenia: No, but he's about to.
Lucas: This is the room. This is the room mom's P.I. said Sami and Brandon were in. Doesn't seem to be anybody in there. I can't wait to tell mom, prove that guy wrong. Anybody in there?
[Knock on door]
Sami: Someone's at the door, Lucas. Answer it. Tell them to go away. I just want to be alone with you. Brandon? Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I thought that was just a dream. What are you doing here? Oh, God, what am I doing here?
Sami: Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I have to get out of here. I have to get out.
Lucas: Somebody is in there. Sami! Sami, are you in there? Are you okay? Sami, open this door right now!
Eugenia: I'm no psychic, but I'm predicting major, major fireworks any minute now.
Kate: Followed by no one getting married in the morning. Ha ha ha ha.
[Knock on door]
Sami: Oh, God.
Brandon: Someone's at the door.
Brandon: I'll get it. I got it.
Sami: No. Brandon. God, don't open the door.
[Knock on door]
Bonnie: Where is Mimi? What is wrong with her?
Dr. Aubrey: You're Ms. Lockhart's mother?
Bonnie: I'm sure as hell not her father. Now, will somebody please tell me what's going on here?
Rex: We're not completely sure.
Bonnie: What do you mean, you're not completely sure? You're supposed to be her boyfriend.
Rex: She collapsed in the loft. Belle and Shawn found her.
Bonnie: Well, where the hell were you?
Rex: Asleep. I-I didn't even know she'd gotten up.
Bonnie: Tell me, why did Mimi pass out?
Dr. Aubrey: I haven't been able to make a complete diagnosis yet. I was just about to ask Rex some questions about Mimiís recent medical history. That might help us understand what's going on here.
Dr. Aubrey: But now that you're here, too, I can ask you both.
Bonnie: I don't think so. I'm sorry to pull rank on you, Rex. I know you love Mimi, but until you marry her, I am her only legal next of kin here.
Rex: Yeah, but --
Bonnie: So any questions you have regarding Mimiís medical history, you ask me alone, in private.
Belle: What could be wrong with her?
Shawn-d: Hey, University Hospital has the best doctors in the state. They're going to find whatever it is, and they're going to treat it, okay? She's young, she's healthy, she's going to be fine. Come here.
Belle: Thank you for being here.
Shawn-d: I'll always be here for you.
Belle: This feels so good.
Shawn-d: Yeah, it does, doesn't it?
Belle: Except I -- I just feel so guilty about Philip, going behind his back like this.
Shawn-d: No, don't -- don't say that, because we tried to tell him before he went overseas
Belle: But I didn't, and now he's over there risking his life. He's still my husband, Shawn. I'm -- God, why does it have to be so hard?
Shawn-d: I don't know. I don't know.
Rex: Come on, you guys. Do you really think you should be doing that right now? I mean, I know you two are back together, but Philip doesn't, and he's my brother, and he's --
Belle: I'm sorry. I'm -- I'm really sorry.
Rex: Whatever, whatever. I got a bunch more important things to worry about right now.
Shawn-d: Yeah, like what did the doctor say?
Belle: Yeah, is Mimi going to be okay?
Rex: I don't know. She pulled me aside to ask me a bunch of questions about Mimiís medical history, but then her mom showed up, and she's -- she's family, so now I'm out of the loop.
Belle: What kind of things did the doctors want to know?
Rex: I-I guess if she's been sick lately, which she hasn't, so... Belle, what is it? Do you know something, something that might have caused Mimi to collapse?
Dr. Aubrey: I wasn't trying to do an end run around you, Mrs. Lockhart.
Bonnie: Mrs. Horton.
Dr. Aubrey: Mrs. Horton. You are the patient's mother, but you weren't here, and Rex was, and he is her boyfriend.
Bonnie: No, I understand. Okay, I'm -- I'm here now, so fire away.
Dr. Aubrey: Mimi seems to be suffering from a pelvic infection.
Bonnie: Oh, God.
Dr. Aubrey: Is there something you can tell me about it?
Bonnie: This is -- this is confidential, right? I mean, because nobody knows except me.
Dr. Aubrey: Yeah, absolutely.
Bonnie: My daughter had an abortion recently.
Dr. Aubrey: My examination suggested that.
Bonnie: You don't think that that's what caused this infection, do you?
Mimi: Stop taunting me.
Jan's voice: You could have been standing over a crib right now singing "rock-a-bye baby," but there's no chance of that now.
Mimi: Rex. Rex.
Woman: What is it, Mimi?
Mimi: I need you to get Rex, please. I need to talk to him. There's something I have to tell him.
Sami: Don't open the door.
Brandon: Why not?
Sami: Don't you get it? I can't be seen with you -- not by anybody. What happened?
Brandon: I don't remember.
Brandon: It looks like we had one hell of a night.
Sami: Don't say that. Don't even think it. I'm getting married tomorrow -- today. Whatever day it is. I'm marrying Lucas, the man that I love. I have to get out of here. I have to get dressed and get the hell out of here.
[Knock on door]
Sami: Oh, God.
Brandon: Well, whoever it is is not going away.
Sami: Just don't open it.
Brandon: It's probably just more room service. Maybe I ordered coffee.
Sami: Well, at least give me a chance to hide.
Lucas: Damn it, it can't be. It can't be. Open up! Open up! Open up, Walker, right now!
Eugenia: I think Lucas just figured out that one plus one equals three.
Kate: Did they open the door?
Eugenia: No, but wait a minute, why would he be using his cell phone?
Kate: Maybe he's calling Father Jansen and canceling the wedding.
Eugenia: Hold on.
Woman: Front desk.
Lucas: Yeah, uh, 1209, Brandon Walker.
Woman: I'm sorry. That guest has asked not to be disturbed. I can put you through to the voice mail.
Lucas: Screw the voice mail! Don't want to be disturbed, huh? I've got your I-don't-want-to-be-disturbed. Open up the door! I know you're in there, Sami! Open up the damn door, or I'll break it down!
Sami: Oh, my God, that's Lucas. Oh, my God. Maybe I could go out the window.
Brandon: No, just stay put, all right? I'll handle this.
Sami: No, Brandon, don't open that door. Brandon, please. You don't understand what you -- you -- Brandon!
[Knock on door]
Brandon: Lucas, what the hell are you doing?
Lucas: I'm not stupid, man. I know she's in here.
Brandon: What's the matter with you?
Lucas: Let me in.
Brandon: Hey, no, no, no, no.
Eugenia: Oh, Brandon just opened the door wearing nothing but a sheet.
Brandon: You know what? I should call security.
Lucas: Security? You son of a --
Brandon: Hey, easy.
Lucas: You in here, Sami?! Huh?! Where is she, huh? Is she in the bathroom?
Brandon: Hey, Lucas, you need to get a grip, man.
Lucas: I know you're in here!
Brandon: You can't just come in here -- you can't just come -- hey, it's time for you to leave, all right? It's time for you to leave.
Brady: Look, I can explain the situation, okay?
John: No. Let me.
Man: He's going for a weapon!
John: Easy, rookie. It's just my wallet.
Man #2: Tell me you are not trying to bribe us.
John: Just look inside.
Man #2: I had no idea, sir. I thought you were a low-level dealer or a junkie looking for a fix.
Man: What's going on?
Man #2: This is John Black, the billionaire. He's new, sir. Not only does he work closely with the Salem P.D., He's also with the I.S.A.
John: That's a fact. The association set up a major drug sting. I was supposed to meet my informant down here, but it was a setup. I got jumped and worked over by a couple goons. Fortunately, I had my cell phone. I called my boy here. Then I must have blacked out.
Man #2: You don't have to explain. Is there anything my partner and I can do for you?
Brady: Uh, yes, there is. You can help my father get home safely, please.
Man #2: Sure thing. Just let me go call it in. Come on.
Brady: What the hell is the matter with you? Scoring drugs and lying to the cops in one night?
John: Not now.
Kate: Oh. What is happening? I wish we had those picture phones.
Eugenia: I can't see. Lucas pushed his way in, and Brandon just almost lost his sheet.
Kate: Oh. That must have been something to see.
Eugenia: Oh. Maybe if I just get a little closer...
Kate: No, no. Our work's done. We can't risk them spotting you. Sami's going to be looking for someone to blame, and we've worked so hard on this plan. We can't give her the opportunity to figure it out.
Eugenia: Ha ha. So I guess I won't be seeing you at the wedding tomorrow.
Kate: I know, and I had the perfect dress picked out.
Eugenia: Me too. It was black.
Kate: Congratulations, honey. I'll talk to you soon. Farewell, Sami. Goodbye. Good riddance. Sorry you had to be hurt, Lucas. Sami would have hurt you so much more. Someday... someday, you're going to realize how lucky you were to walk in on Brandon and Sami.
Sami: This isn't what it looks like.
Brandon: She's right.
Lucas: Stay out of it, Brandon! This is between me and her. Wait, you know what? On second thought, forget it. Forget it, man. She's all yours. Enjoy yourselves.
Sami: Lucas, no!
Mimi: What's -- what's happening to me?
Jan's voice: [Laughing]
Mimi: No. No, not again. Oh, stop it. Stop it! Stop it. Stop it.
Rex: Belle, look, whatever it is, you've got to tell me.
Belle: All right. I was just remembering that a little while back, Mimi wasn't feeling well.
Rex: That's right. Female trouble.
Woman: Mr. Brady?
Woman: Mimi's awake, and she's asking for you.
Rex: Thank you.
Belle: Hey, give her our best, okay?
Shawn-d: Hey. I know this is hard for you. Mimi's, like, one of my best friends, too, so -- and you know what she'd want us to do, right?
Belle: You don't give up, do you?
Shawn-d: What do you mean? What are you talking --
Belle: I'll tell you something about Philip. He would never manipulate me.
Shawn-d: I'm not -- I'm not trying to manipulate you.
Belle: Whatever. I'm not going to tell Philip in an e-mail that our marriage is over.
Bonnie: Tell me the truth, doc, because I'm the one who convinced her to go through with it -- did the abortion cause this pelvic infection? Oh, God, it did, didn't it? It's all my fault that Mimiís sick. Oh.
Rex: Meems... sweetheart.
Rex: The nurse said you were asking for me. How are you feeling?
Mimi: I'm so, so sorry.
Sami: Lucas, please don't go! I can explain!
Lucas: You can explain? I can explain. I know exactly what's going on here. You wanted your last-minute fling with Brandon, so you --
Sami: No, no, that is not it at all.
Lucas: Then why, Sami? Why are you naked right now? Huh? What, did you decide to take a drive, and, what, did the cigarette lighter fall out of the dash and burn the clothes off you? Is that what you're telling me?! Is that what happened?!
Lucas: And then you showed up at this hotel, only no vacancies, but luckily, your ex-husband was here. Oh, that's great. But, oh, that pesky lighter showed up and burned his clothes off, too.
Brandon: Hey, hey, why don't you give her a chance to explain?
Lucas: Why don't you shut up and mind your own business?
Brandon: Fine. I'm just going to put some clothes on.
Lucas: Don't do it on my account.
Brandon: I just think you need a little time to talk here.
Lucas: Well, where'd you learn that, social worker school?
Sami: Okay, okay. Lucas, please listen to me, okay? It is not at all what it looks like.
Lucas: What kind of fool -- what kind of fool do you think I am, Sami?
Sami: Just let me talk, okay?
Lucas: No, no, no. Let me talk. How did you do it? How did you end up naked in bed with Brandon in his hotel room the night before our wedding? How'd that happen?
Sami: I don't know, okay? But I do know that I love you, and you are the man that I want to marry.
Lucas: You want to marry me, but you want to sleep with him.
Sami: No! No, it -- I read my horoscope, and --
Lucas: Oh, your horoscope.
Sami: And I found out that Brandon was back in Salem, and I had to come see him.
Lucas: Oh, so you had to call your phone psychic, too, then, right?
Lucas: Oh, sure.
Sami: No, she -- she confirmed everything that was in my horoscope.
Lucas: I'm sure she did.
Sami: And then when I figured out that Brandon was back in Salem, I knew that I had to go see him. Lucas, I swear to you, I -- I don't know how I wound up naked in bed with Brandon, okay? But it wasn't on purpose.
Lucas: Never is, is it, Sami? How did this happen, huh? How did we get here?
Sami: That's what I'm trying to figure out.
Lucas: Yeah, well, you know what, honey? I am done. I am done trying to figure it out. You kept telling me -- you kept promising me that you've changed.
Sami: I have!
Lucas: No, you haven't! You haven't changed! You are the same manipulative liar you've always been! And I'm sick of it, Sami. I'm not dealing with it anymore. Goodbye.
Sami: No! No! Lucas, I am not going to let you leave me! I won't!
Brady: Come on, dad.
John: Let go.
Kate: John, what happened? What?
Brady: I found my father on the pier tonight, Kate.
Kate: The pier?
Brady: That's right, scoring drugs. Where the hell were you? Why -- why weren't you watching him?
Kate: I was. I was here all night. John went to sleep, and I came down here. That's when he must have slipped out.
Brady: All right, what about the nurse, Kate? Where was the nurse during all this? What are we paying her for? Charlene? Charlene, get down here!
Kate: [Thinking] That damn nurse screwed up. Now my whole cover could be blown.
Brady: Charlene, I need to talk to you. What the hell? Were you sleeping tonight? What's the matter with you?
Charlene: I-I --
Brady: No, no, while you were sleeping, I found my father on the streets tonight -- on the pier, as a matter of fact. You know, I'm going to give Lexie a call in the morning, and -- you're fired. You're absolutely fired. Just get your things --
Charlene: I'm sorry, but --
Brady: I'm going to talk to your agency and tell them about your negligence.
John: Leave her alone, Brady. It's not her fault. If you want to blame somebody, you blame me.
Brady: Oh, I do, and you and I have a good, long talk ahead of us.
Lucas: You know what, Sami? It's not up to you.
Sami: Lucas, please, please, you have to believe me, okay? I am telling you the truth. I have changed. I don't know how I wound up in bed naked with Brandon, okay? I wish I did, but I don't!
Lucas: I wish I knew! After seeing this, I'm not surprised. I'm not surprised you don't remember! What, did you drink the whole thing yourself?
Sami: No! Okay?! I didn't drink it! At least, I don't think I did.
Lucas: I can't believe you. You told me you were staying in tonight.
Sami: I know.
Lucas: Yeah, so what happened? What, what, aliens abduct you, strip you of your clothes, beam you into bed, and drink all the champagne for themselves?
Brandon: Lay off.
Sami: Lucas, Lucas, please listen to me.
Lucas: You know what? I am through listening. It's quite obvious why you're here -- because you wanted to be. That's it! End of story!
Sami: You're right. All right, I did come here because I wanted to be. I wanted to see Brandon.
Bonnie: I'm a terrible mother. This is all my fault.
Dr. Aubrey: No, it's not. An abortion performed by a qualified doctor carries no more risk than any other procedure. Yes, once in a great while, patients develop complications, but that's true of routine tonsillectomies, too.
Bonnie: But she didn't want to do it. I pushed her into it. Hell, Mimi loves children, and she would have made a wonderful mother to her baby -- a better mother than I've ever been. I was just trying to help. My God, she's still my little girl, and I didn't want her to be stuck with a kid before she's ready, like I was, all because of a stupid accident.
Dr. Aubrey: So you helped her look at all her choices.
Bonnie: Ha ha. No. I pushed her to do what I wanted her to do, and now because of that, she's in that hospital bed. I'm the one who should be in the hospital bed. I'm the one who should be in pain.
Dr. Aubrey: Why don't you go in and see her?
Bonnie: Can I?
Dr. Aubrey: I think it might help you both feel better.
Bonnie: Thank you. Thank you. You -- you are going to clear up this infection, right? A shot of penicillin or -- or whatever, and she's going to be as good as new in a couple of days, right?
Dr. Aubrey: I can't promise that. We're not 100% sure what caused it yet. We still have to determine what kind of infection it is, how long she's had it, and what kind of damage has already been done.
Bonnie: I prefer to assume the best.
Dr. Aubrey: Yeah, I hope you're right. But just know that may not be what we're looking at. Pelvic infections can have very serious complications.
Bonnie: That's not going to happen.
Woman: Dr. Aubrey, you're needed upstairs.
Dr. Aubrey: Tell them I'm on my way. Go see your daughter, Mrs. Horton, and I'll let you know the minute I know anything.
Dr. Aubrey: And keep thinking those good thoughts.
Bonnie: Okay. Come on, you got to be strong for her, Mrs. Horton. Let's go.
Belle: Rex is the best, isn't he? He loves her so much. Oh, it's okay. She's in the hospital now. She's with the best doctors. She's going to be fine.
Bonnie: What if she isn't? This is all my fault.
Belle: Oh. Come on. Come on, you don't want her to see you like this. Come on.
Bonnie: Oh, what am I going to do? She's my little girl. Oh, God.
Belle: I know that you're feeling guilty about wanting her to have this abortion.
Bonnie: You know?
Belle: Yeah. But Mimi is a strong, independent person. She doesn't do anything just because someone tells her to. She made a choice. You can't blame yourself.
Bonnie: Ha ha. Wait till you're a mother. You'll blame yourself for everything. Or your kids do.
Belle: Doesn't mean that you deserve it.
Bonnie: The doctor says that Mimi has a pelvic infection. She doesn't know where she got it or how much damage it's done, but that there could be complications. If that procedure caused it, then I do deserve the blame. No, no. She was scared, and she was vulnerable, and I pushed her into terminating that pregnancy. And what's more, I secretly hoped that Rex would break up with her because of it. I'm not a mother. I'm a monster. God.
Rex: Sweetheart, there is nothing for you to be sorry about. Okay, it's not your fault that you're sick.
Mimi: That's not completely true. Something happened, Rex -- something that I didn't tell you, and you need to know what it is.
Lucas: Thanks, Sami. For once in your life, you actually told the truth. Thanks.
Sami: Yes, I am telling the truth. I did want to see Brandon, but not for the reasons that you think. I wasn't lying when I said I have no idea how I wound up naked in bed with him. I donít. Look, I had to find Brandon when I found out that he was back in Salem after reading in my horoscope that he was gonna be the cause of my wedding day disaster. I had to find him and ask him to leave me alone. Oh, God, Brandon, my horoscope was right. You really are here. Look, Brandon, I know -- I know your dad is really sick, but you can't stay in Salem. Brandon, Brandon, I am getting married tomorrow, okay? So you can't still be here when that happens. Otherwise, my wedding day horoscope will come true, and I'll have another wedding day disaster. So, please, please go back to London, or Chicago, or, I don't know, take a vacation to Tahiti, okay? Just -- Brandon, just get the hell away from me, okay? Now! Lucas, I didn't come here to make trouble for our relationship. I came here because I wanted to protect it. I wanted to protect our future. You believe me, don't you?
Belle: No, you are not a monster. I know how much you love Mimi.
Bonnie: You're a good kid, Belle. Mimi's lucky to have a friend like you.
Belle: I am lucky to have a friend like Mimi. Look, you said the doctor doesn't know what caused the infection, or what damage it may or may not have done, right?
Belle: Okay, well then, we just -- we need to stay positive and hope for the best.
Bonnie: That's what I'm trying to do, but if that --
Belle: Unh-unh. Positive. Okay?
Bonnie: I just -- I just want my little girl to be healthy, and happy, and have the life that she deserves.
Belle: She will. And trust me, nobody could make her happier than Rex.
Bonnie: Maybe you're right. Oh, my gosh. Speaking of happiness, I never got to congratulate you on your wedding.
Bonnie: It's so romantic -- marrying the man of your dreams, and him going off to war. It's just like in those '40s movies. You know, when he comes home, you're gonna see each other from across the airport and run into each other's arms in slow motion. You know, I always knew Philip was in love with you.
Belle: You did?
Bonnie: Oh, it doesn't exactly take a mind reader. He would come into Aliceís and just sit there and stare at you... like you were gidget and he was moon doggie. I called him on it once, and you know what he told me? "Bonnie, she's not just the woman I love. She's my best friend." You know, love like that doesn't come around very often. Most of us have to settle for a whole hell of a lot less. So you hang on to that. You enjoy it. Never let anyone do to you what I tried to do to Mimi and Rex. When it comes to love, never let anyone influence your decisions. If you do, you will regret it the rest of your life. Gotta stay true to your heart, baby, no matter what. Belle, thank you. I think -- I think I've pulled myself together, and I'm gonna go see Mimi.
Belle: Okay. Remember what I said about staying positive, okay?
Bonnie: And you remember what I said about true love.
Belle: I will.
Shawn-d: There you are. Listen, about what happened before --
Belle: Oh, I'm so sorry I snapped at you. I'm just so worried about Mimi. I didn't wanna deal with this whole Philip thing, too.
Shawn-d: I wasn't gonna ask you to. I was just gonna suggest that we go to the chapel and light a candle for Mimi. I-I wasn't gonna ask you to deal with Philip.
Belle: You weren't?
Shawn-d: No, I swear. So, would you like to... light a candle?
Belle: Yeah, very much. But first...
Belle: I love you. I always have, and I always will. And I promise, I'm gonna do the right thing so we can be together.
Mimi: I need to be honest with you. There is something that happened a while ago, and I need to tell you.
Rex: Belle talked to me.
Mimi: She did?
Rex: Yeah, she reminded me of how you had, you know, female trouble. And I know you've always been kind of embarrassed to talk to me about it. Is that what this is about?
Mimi: That's not the whole story. There's something else -- something that I-I-I have to tell you. And, um, I'm not very proud of it. I just -- I just hope that when you hear it, that you still love me.
Rex: Sweetheart, don't you know that there is nothing that you could ever do or say that's gonna stop me from loving you? Face it, Meems, you're stuck with me for the rest of our lives whether you like it or not.
Bonnie: [Thinking] Now, if you could just make her healthy, I promise to never interfere again.
Brady: Charlene, I said you can go. Dad -- dad, what the hell is the matter with you? You could have been killed tonight.
John: I can take care of myself.
Brady: Not in the state you were in. Where do you think we'd be spending the night right now if you hadn't lied to the cops?
Kate: What? What cops?
Brady: You wanna tell her?
Brady: We were picked up tonight, Kate. Cops found the drugs that dad bought on the pier. If he didn't identify himself and feed them some story about how he was conducting an undercover operation for the I.S.A., they wouldn't have let us go.
John: Would you rather have gone to jail?
Brady: If it meant keeping you clean -- oh, yeah, for as long as it took.
Kate: Look. We know how much pain you're in. And when you -- you came home, to ease that pain, you started to take drugs, but it's wrong, and I wish I could wave a magic wand and make it all go away, but I can't do that. But if we stick together, we can work through this.
Brady: You have to let us help you, dad, but I really don't see that happening without some sort of outside intervention.
Kate: What do you mean, intervention?
Brady: I'm calling Judge Fitzpatrick, and I'm gonna force you into rehab.
John: No, you're not. You're not gonna call Karen. You sure as hell aren't gonna put me in a drug rehab like some common junkie -- not now, no ever!
Lucas: I don't know what to believe, Sami. I don't know what to believe anymore. I thought I did, but I donít.
Sami: Lucas, please, just --
Lucas: No, no, let me talk. Let me talk. When I first heard you were here, I didn't believe it. I thought the only way you could be with Brandon if somehow he forced you. But now I know that's not true. That's why you came back to Salem, huh? You know, man, a part of me wants to tear you apart for taking advantage of Sami like this. Then another part of me wants to shake his hand and thank him for showing me the real Sami -- showing me that she'll never be able to change, ever.
Lucas: So, there you go, Brandon. You got her. She's all yours.
Sami: No, Lucas, please. You can't go like this. We're getting married in a couple hours.
Lucas: You gotta be kidding me! We're not getting married!
Sami: But I love you, and I know you love me.
Lucas: I was gonna marry you, Sami. I was gonna spend the rest of my life with you. I told you I didn't care what a horoscope said or some stupid phony psychic. I didn't care. I told you that you were the only person that could prevent this wedding from happening.
Sami: Lucas, please don't do this.
Lucas: That's what you did. That's exactly what you did.
Sami: No. No! No!
Roman: Oh, my God, Doc. Something's being pumped through that nozzle.
Marlena: It must be gas.
Maggie: Billie and Patrick were arrested.
Hope: I'm not gonna let her get away with this.
Bo: If you were tempted, you could have called me.
Billie: And interrupt your romantic evening with Hope?
Lucas: They warned me, but I wouldn't listen because I was too in love. That's it, Sami, I'm done. Goodbye.
