Hope: I hope you're still in the Christmas mood. Ha ha ha!
Hope: Oh, my God, I have missed you so much.
Bo: Hope, easy, easy.
Hope: What's the matter?
Bo: It's nothing, nothing.
Hope: What do you mean it's nothing?
Bo: I'm fine.
Hope: What are you talking about? Oh, my God, what on earth happened to you? Why didn't you tell me?
Bo: I didn't want to worry you.
Hope: Who did this to you?
Bo: Hope, don't get excited. It's a couple of bruises, that's all.
Hope: Since when do you bandage bruises, Brady?
Bo: Just --
Hope: Let me take a look at it, okay? Oh, my God, it looks like someone tried to kill you with a -- I don't know what.
Bo: Hope, listen, relax, relax. I was at the DiMera castle, I fell into this pit, there were some snakes in there, and, um, as I was climbing out, I slipped and scraped myself on this spike.
Hope: You scraped yourself on a spike?
Bo: Yeah, I'm fine.
Hope: You're fine? How do you know that you're fine? Did you see a doctor?
Hope: You have stitches there. If you didn't see a doctor, then who -- who stitched you up?
Bo: Billie. She sewed me up.
Billie: I want so much to believe this message from Georgia is real. But if it's not, I need to know right away. My heart just can't take this, you know?
Rex: Billie, Billie, hang on, hang on. This -- it's impressive. This is very impressive. Part of the code was embedded. This is exactly what I needed. All right, keep your fingers crossed. I might be able to tell you if that message on your PDA was from your daughter Georgia.
Kate: I was just thinking about you. I was just thinking about how smart my youngest son is.
Philip: And why is that, mom?
Kate: You know why. Because you are marrying the perfect girl -- the girl that's meant for you. So, what can I do for you?
Philip: Mom, I need some advice from a woman who knows jewelry.
Kate: The wedding ring? Oh...Philip.
Philip: Is it too many diamonds? Because I didn't really know.
Kate: Oh, darling, there's no such thing as too many diamonds. Oh, my gosh, it's exquisite.
Philip: Well, it matches her engagement ring. It set me back some major change, so...
Kate: That just proves how much you love her. But why did you -- why did you get it now? The wedding's not for weeks.
Philip: I don't know. I just want to be prepared, you know, just in case.
Kate: In case what?
Philip: In case nothing. I-I just -- I don't want anything to get in the way of our wedding.
Kate: Honey, that's the one thing you don't have to worry about, because you have picked the perfect woman. And nothing -- nothing is going to stop you from making her your wife.
Man: I tried to get a hold of this guy on Christmas Eve at the church, but by the time the service was over, he was gone. Tell me about it. The contents in this envelope will change this guy's life forever.
Jan: Good morning, sexy.
Jan: Time to wake up and give me some.
Jan: Aww...poor baby. You know, you're gonna have to build up your beer drinking stamina if you're gonna keep up with me.
Shawn-D: Can get you get me some water?
Jan: I knew you'd be thirsty. Here you go.
Shawn-D: Oh! What are you trying to do to me?
Belle: Okay, dad. Break time.
John: Thank you.
Belle: You bet.
John: But only for a minute, because I've got an appointment to keep. Something about walking a certain daughter down the aisle.
Belle: Oh, dad, I can always count on you.
John: Yeah. I wish that was true.
Belle: So, um, who got the flowers?
John: They're from Carrie and Mike.
John: Eric sent a card. It's over there. Some pictures from Yosemite. You might want to check it out.
Belle: Oh, I am so proud of Eric. You know, he's really living his dream. Here, give me that. Being a real photographer, you know? I just wish he wasn't always so far away, but at least I still have one brother. Dad... why are you throwing Christmas cards away?
John: Because that's where it belongs. Don't open it. It'll upset you.
Belle: Oh, my God. I cannot believe that Sami would do this.
Antonio: You may now kiss the bride.
Sami: You are not marrying Brandon. You're going to spend the rest of your life happily married to Lucas. God. No, I cannot end the year married to Brandon Walker. I have to get this annulment before the end of 2004. Um, excuse me, look, I was just wondering, um, if I could cut in front of you in line. It's sort of a family emergency.
Woman: I'm sorry, but I have been standing in this line since the doors opened, and I am not budging.
Sami: Well, happy holidays to you, too, lady.
[Cellular phone rings]
Lucas: You don't sound too happy. Where are you?
Sami: At the courthouse. I got up with the sun so I could get my butt down here so I could be first in line.
Lucas: But it didn't work.
Sami: No, as it turns out, some other people had the same idea. Rude people.
Lucas: Well, come on, just relax, all right? You can do it another day.
Sami: No. Lucas, I have got to get this annulment before the end of the year.
Lucas: All right, look, why don't you just wait until after the holidays? The lines will be gone by then. We'll just -- we'll go to lunch, and we'll hit that sale at Baronís.
Sami: No, Lucas, I want to get this done today. Look, I would be totally embarrassed if my little sister beats me down the aisle, okay? I want to marry you before the end of 2004. Now, we've already had to postpone it once, and I don't want to have to do that again. I'm going to stand in this line for as long as it takes. Hey. Oh, it's my turn. Honey, maybe by the time I get home, I'll be a free woman so we can get married. I love you, and I'll see you soon.
Lucas: Good luck.
Sami: Yep. Finally. Okay. Eugenia.
Belle: I cannot believe that Sami would do something so hateful to you.
John: It's just a card, sweetheart.
Belle: Meant to hurt you.
John: You know, your mother wouldn't want us being upset about this. She would expect both of us to rise above it.
Belle: Yeah, well, sometimes, Mom's a little hard to live up to. I mean, she was such a good person, honorable.
John: And if she were here right now, she would tell you to concentrate on your wedding. Because there's not a more important day in your life.
Belle: I know. But, look, I know how hard you've been working to get better, and I just want you to know, dad, that it's okay if you can't walk me down the aisle. It really is.
John: It's not okay with me.
Belle: Oh, my God, dad, are you -- it's okay. It's okay, it's okay.
Sami: Eugenia, why are you -- I mean, what are you doing here?
Eugenia: Working. A job. University hospital fired me. Oh, that's right, because of you.
Sami: Yeah. Yeah, I'm sorry, I just think it's quite a coincidence to find you working here at the county clerk's office. I'm really upset about not being able to get those annulment papers filed, okay? You just wait and see, as soon as that city clerk's office opens, I'm going down there and I'm getting it done. I'm going to get that man out of my head, out of my life forever.
Eugenia: [Thinking] We'll see about that. I, uh, lost all my benefits -- my pension.
Sami: Yeah. You've mentioned that once or twice.
Eugenia: Yeah, now I've got to work three jobs just so I can pay my health insurance. So, lucky for me, the city clerk's office was hiring for part-time help. So, Sami Brady, how can I help you?
Sami: I, uh, want to get my marriage to Brandon annulled before the end of the year.
Eugenia: Hmm. Sorry, can't help you.
Sami: I think all you have to do is stamp it and file it.
Eugenia: Who do you think you are -- Britney? Girl, marriage deserves more respect than that.
Sami: Hey, I respect marriage, okay? I want to get this marriage to Brandon annulled so that I can marry Lucas, the father of my son.
Eugenia: Well, you're a little late getting around to it. I mean, will's a teenager. You really should be ashamed of yourself.
Sami: I want to get this marriage annulled before the end of the year. Where's your supervisor?
Eugenia: I'm it today.
Sami: Okay. Eugenia, maybe I can pay extra or something for, like, a rush order.
Eugenia: Or -- or what -- switch the documents, want me to forge them? Yeah, Sami, that's your style. It's not mine. So, unless you know somebody high up in the state level, you're just gonna have to wait the regular time like everybody else.
Sami: I won't forget this.
Eugenia: Neither will I. Next.
Sami: Oh, God, I wish I knew someone high up that could help me make this happen. Oh, of course. Why didn't I go to him in the first place?
Kate: That ring is beautiful. Just as beautiful as your wedding's going to be, and I am looking forward to every single minute of it... as much as I'm dreading every single second of your brotherís.
Lucas: There you go. Talk all you want, mom, as long as Sami doesn't hear you. I don't want you to hurt her feelings.
Kate: Oh, God forbid.
Lucas: You know what? You promised me. You promised me that you wouldn't do this.
Kate: I know, and I'm going to be pleasant to her face. But my feelings are my own, and you know exactly what they are. Sami is going to ruin your life.
Lucas: You know what? You don't have to be for us. Just don't work against us.
Bo: Come on, Hope. Say something.
Hope: I'm too mad at you to. You could've gotten yourself killed, damn it. And you were too stubborn to take a few minutes to go see a doctor, too stubborn to tell me what the hell happened to you. Don't we -- haven't we been through enough? Haven't we lost enough? Just seeing what Jenniferís going -- I don't want that for us. I want us to be together.
Bo: We are together. I'm back.
Hope: Right, because you're not leaving again.
Bo: Not leaving Salem.
Hope: Not leaving this house until that gash is healed, and even after that, I'm not letting you out of my sight.
Bo: Are you telling me you don't want me to go look for my daughter?
Hope: That's what I'm saying. Christmas and gets busy in prison.
Belle: Okay, dad, here's some aspirin. Here. I don't know how it's going to help, though. Can't you take something stronger?
John: Lexie says it's aspirin... or nothing.
Belle: I just -- I can't stand to see you in so much pain. You know what? I'm going to call her. She's gotta be able to give you something stron--
John: No, Belle, don't, don't, donít. She's going to be making a house call here in a little while.
Belle: I'll wait with you.
John: No, Belle! Just -- I'm sorry. It's just -- this pain -- it's just -- I'm not myself, honey.
Belle: Well, I can't just leave you here, dad.
John: Distract me then. Come over here, come on, honey. Sit down. Come on, talk to me. Tell me -- tell me all about this -- this man of yours.
John: He's the one you're marrying, isn't he?
Belle: Yeah. Yes.
John: He loves you a lot. Always has, in my opinion.
Belle: I think you're right.
John: I've got another opinion. You want to hear it?
Belle: Yeah, what?
John: You're not over Shawn, are you?
Belle: No. I'm not. I still love him.
Shawn-D: It's morning. How can you pour booze down my throat?
Jan: You're so new at being bad. It's like I have to teach you everything. It's just a little hair of the dog that bit you -- exactly what you need after spending the entire day at the cheating heart doing shooters -- my best Christmas ever. Come on. Let the bloody Mary work its magic on your poor head.
Shawn-D: All right. Fine, if you insist.
Jan: It'll make you feel better, you'll see.
Shawn-D: Well, I guess that's a good idea. I still have to drop off Zackís present.
Jan: Uh, are you sure you wanna go to your parents' house?
Shawn-D: Well, I don't want to see my dad after that blowup we had on Christmas Eve, of all days. But I'm not gonna let that keep me from seeing my brother. I'll just drop off his present, and then I'll split.
Jan: You know, you just gave me a great idea. Why don't we make a stop on the way over?
Bo: Hope, you know how much I love my boys, how much it killed me to have to give J.T. away. You don't want me to care that much for my own daughter?
Hope: No, of course not. I didn't mean it like that. I'm sorry. But what about the life we've built -- you and me together? You don't even know for sure if Georgia is alive.
Bo: No. I don't, Fancy Face. That's a horrible feeling. Because of that, Georgiaís never very far from my thoughts. If Billie wasn't involved with this, you'd feel very differently. Wouldn't you?
Hope: Tony could've set this whole thing up before he died.
Bo: Why would he do that?
Hope: To use Billie to break us up. We could all be pawns in Tonyís final game. Don't you see that? He lived to break up happy couples. Look what happened on the island. That's proof, because he couldn't find happiness himself.
Bo: Whatever. The DiMeras are dead. And if there's even the slightest chance that my daughter's alive, I gotta look for her.
Hope: I know how much you want to find your daughter. So do I. Look, Victor left you a lot of money. Use it. Hire a private investigator to find Georgia. That way, you and Billie won't be in danger.
Bo: There's no way Billieís not going to go out and look for her daughter.
Hope: That's her decision.
Bo: Georgia's my daughter, too. I gotta find her.
Hope: Then we've got a major problem.
Antonio: I have no jurisdiction over state or city matters.
Sami: Well, what about Father Jansen? You said he's coming back from sabbatical. Maybe he could help.
Antonio: I'm sorry, Sami, but everything happens for a reason. You should never rush into marriage. Why does it seem like you're in such a hurry? You may now kiss the bride.
Sami: It's not that I'm in a hurry, it's just that I'm excited. You know how it is. Oh, okay, well, you don't know 'cause priests don't get married. Sorry.
Antonio: Sami, if you need to talk, we're always here.
Sami: Thank you, father Antonio.
Sami: Mom... dad... I wish you both were here. 'Cause maybe then you guys could tell me that I'm doing the right thing. I know that I love Lucas, and I wanna marry him so much. But I can't stop thinking about Brandon. What is wrong with me? I'm finally getting everything I wanted, and I'm messing it up. Why can't I stop thinking about Brandon Walker?
Julie: Sami, I couldn't help but overhear.
Sami: Eavesdropping is a sin, especially in church.
Julie: I'm sure it is. I think it must be a much worse sin to marry a man you don't love with your whole heart.
Sami: What am I supposed to do, Julie?
Julie: What has happened? You were so sure Christmas Eve.
Sami: I know. But I can't stop having these dreams about Brandon. In one dream, we were getting married in a church with me in a white dress.
Julie: You're not gonna like hearing this... when a woman dreams about a guy, it usually means that's the one she really wants.
Hope: Lexie's gonna drop by this afternoon and check on you. Let me see. Let me see. Oh, my God. 102-- open your mouth. She said it sounds like an infection. Bo, put the thermometer back in your mouth. It's not done. Now, she recommends bed rest and no stress, okay? Please be a good boy.
Hope: It's Shawn. Please don't forget -- no stress. It's the holidays. Okay? Time for peace.
Jan: Ho, ho, ho.
Shawn-D: All right, stop. Keep it down, stop.
Jan: I love spreading good cheer -- bringing gifts to my future in-laws.
Hope: Hey, hey! Merry Christmas, honey!
Shawn-D: Merry Christmas, mom.
Hope: Jan, Merry Christmas.
Jan: Merry Christmas. Ho, ho, ho!
Hope: Ho, ho, ho.
Jan: So, one of these gifts is for your anniversary, and the other is for Christmas.
Hope: Oh, thank you. Have you been drinking?
Jan: Oh, don't worry, I was the designated driver this morning.
Hope: Oh, boy, that makes me feel a whole lot better. Why are you drinking so early in the morning, honey?
Shawn-D: I was thirsty. I don't know. Hair of the dog.
Bo: Shawn, can you come up here?
Hope: Honey, your dad really wants to see you. Please try to get along.
Shawn-D: Well, I will if he will.
Hope: He's not exactly himself. He's running a fever. He has an infected wound. Please.
Shawn-D: And I have a hangover. So, this should be interesting.
Hope: Just, please, don't start anything, okay? Be nice. It's Christmas. Okay?
Hope: Why don't we have a little chat of our own 'cause there's a couple things I'd like to get straight with you.
Lucas: Sami is the woman for me, and I don't care if you're rooting for us, just don't root against us, all right? This is my only chance to be happy, and I'm taking it.
Philip: All right.
Billie: I don't wanna go into my whole history with Bo. Let's just say it's complicated.
Patrick: Billie, you might have just gotten a message from his daughter. Don't you think he'd wanna know?
Billie: The complicated part is his wife, who still blames me for some stuff that happened a long time ago. So, I just have to make sure that I have the facts clear before I go busting in on their time together. She wasn't exactly thrilled when he went off with me to go look for Georgia, you know? No, I cannot make it look like I am manipulating the information to get closer to Bo because then Hope's just gonna think that I'm trying to seduce him away from her.
Patrick: Are you?
Kate: If you're not, you're a damn fool.
Belle: I will always love Shawn, dad, but he gave up on me and our entire future together.
John: So, you think you turned to Philip on the rebound? Come on, you know what I'm saying. Sometimes it's hard to trust your feelings when you've -- you've got this emotional need, you know?
Belle: Okay, now you sound just like mom.
John: Well, when you live with a shrink as long as I have, some of it's bound to rub off, Belle.
Belle: Maybe it is the reason that Philip and I started getting closer, at least at first. But Philip and I've been friends for a long time. I don't think it's totally unnatural that I would turn to him for support. Here. And after a while, I realized I started having feelings for him, too. I thought it was friendship. But -- but maybe that's a really good place to look for a life partner. You know? I mean, we know each other inside out. And I never have to even explain anything to him because he's been there the whole time. He's been a part of my life all along. And I think he shares the same feelings. We are very, very lucky.
John: Yeah. Yeah, well, you know, it wouldn't surprise me that Philip or anybody would be crazy about my little girl. My only question is if Shawn were to walk through that door right now and say, "Belle, I want you back," what would you say?
Belle: I would say that it's too late to go back to the past. My future is with Philip.
Sami: I meant what I said on Christmas Eve. I wanna marry Lucas with my whole heart.
Julie: Well, there must be some corner of your heart that still has Brandon in it or you wouldn't be dreaming about him.
Sami: I thought that I was over him.
Julie: Until he showed up in Salem again. Look, darling, why don't you just give the marriage idea a little more thought? Brandon has left town. Take a couple of weeks, you know, get some perspective.
Sami: No, no, absolutely not. I want to get my marriage to Brandon annulled, and I wanna marry Lucas before the end of the year.
Julie: Why, honey? For heaven's sakes, why?
Sami: My pride. I mean, I'm not gonna let my little sister beat me to the altar. I'm the big sister, I should get married first, right? Look, Julie, come on, you've got to know someone high up in local government who could walk my annulment papers through, right?
Julie: Lord, you are really serious.
Sami: Yes, Julie, I am very serious. You're a well-connected person. Come on, don't you know someone who could help me?
Julie: I donít. Sami, I really donít. Good luck, sweetheart.
Sami: Julie, I don't need luck. All I need is Lucas and Will.
Julie: Well, Sami, I hope you're being honest with yourself. An awful lot of hearts could be broken... including yours.
Lucas: There she is. There she is. What's going on? How are ya? How's my bride-to-be?
Sami: Lucas, I'm not your bride-to-be. I couldn't get those stupid annulment papers filed.
Lucas: All right, relax, okay? It's not a tragedy. We'll just have to wait a while longer is all.
Sami: No, it's not gonna be a while, Lucas, it's gonna be forever.
Lucas: All right, why? What happened?
Sami: Well, guess who the new paper pusher is at the county clerk's office -- Eugenia Willens. Ring a bell?
Lucas: Yeah, it rings a bell, all right. I keep forgetting how many enemies you actually have.
Sami: Well, thanks.
Lucas: I'm sorry, I just forgot about Eugenia is all. Maybe you could talk to somebody else down there?
Sami: What, like the Governor? Or maybe a State Senator or two?
Lucas: Sorry. Too bad we don't have any friends who are government people.
Sami: I know. Exactly, we're stuck. What is all this?
Lucas: I don't know. It was by the door when I got home.
Sami: Hmm. Oh, it's from Kateís office at Basic Black. Maybe she's come through with a big, fat check, huh?
Sami: That would be nice, yes.
Sami: A donation has been made in your name. Damn it, I hate when people do that. It is so cheap. I'm not gonna pretend like it's generous or thoughtful, Lucas, 'cause it isnít. Well, what's in here? Maybe something good. Ooh, a -- oh, that fruit is moldy. Don't eat it. Ugh. Oh, you can smell it. A nice $3 bottle of wine, that's good. Some -- ew -- cheese product. Stale crackers. Oh, look, a mint. Wow, someone really went all out for us.
Lucas: For you. Sami, it was addressed to you.
Sami: Shut up.
Lucas: It was.
Sami: That rotten S.O.B. I mean, of all the insulting crap to pull.
Lucas: Whoa, whoa!
Jan: I just love having tea. It's so quaint.
Hope: I have it every day.
Jan: Oh, thanks. Try one of my cookies? I'm sure they're not as good as yours, but I made them myself.
Hope: Hmm. I'm not known for my baking, but these aren't half bad.
Jan: I'm glad you like them.
Hope: I'll tell you what I don't like.
Jan: What's that?
Hope: The Christmas gift you gave to my son.
Jan: Shawn loves his new --
Jan: I don't love it. Motorcycles are dangerous. I want you to take it back.
Bo: Hey. Good to see ya.
Shawn-D: Yeah. How you doing? Mom says you have an infection.
Bo: Yeah, I feel kinda lousy but... having you home, I feel better. Hey, listen, I'm sorry about how things ended up Christmas Eve. I... I'm worried about you. You broke up with Belle, and you've loved that girl ever since I can remember.
Shawn-D: Dad, that's --
Bo: I know, I'm sorry. Uh, your love life is none of my business. But you've dropped out of school, you've had an accident, you've been arrested. Now you're driving that bike around that Jan gave you. You almost gave your mom a heart attack.
Shawn-D: Yeah, well, mom worries too much.
Bo: Well, maybe your new girlfriend doesn't have your best interest in mind.
Shawn-D: This is exactly what I was afraid of. I'm just -- I'm gonna go downstairs and give Zack his Christmas present. That's what I came over here to do.
Bo: Walk out. That's your answer for everything these days?
Shawn-D: Me? What about you? You left mom here alone with Zack while you just go run off to Europe with your ex-lover? You know what? Forget it. I don't even wanna have this conversation.
Bo: Shawn. Shawn!
Jan: Look, I don't think I could get that bike away from Shawn. I mean, he loves riding it almost as much as he loves... well, anyway, he's crazy about it.
Hope: He was just in a motorcycle accident, Jan. Think about it. He could have been killed. Look, maybe if you're lucky enough to become a mother one day, you'll understand what I mean.
Jan: I hope I will... get to be a mother, I mean. Maybe I could talk Shawn into getting a smaller bike or something.
Shawn-D: Let's go.
Hope: What happened?
Shawn-D: He started in on me.
Bo: Shawn. Shawn, hold up.
Shawn-D: Dad, I may not be the perfect son, but a perfect father also doesn't run off to Europe with another woman.
Shawn-D: I am with Jan now. We are together. Belle is yesterday's news. Deal with it. Out, let's go. Merry Christmas.
Hope: That went well.
Billie: See you later, Philip.
Philip: Love you, Bill.
Man: Excuse me, miss. Is Philip Kiriakis here?
Joelle: Yes, sir. He's right over there.
Man: Special forces number 32. Philip Kiriakis?
Philip: Yes, sir. What can I do for you, sir?
Man: Your orders.
Philip: Thank you, sir.
Philip: Oh, my God.
Jan: You still feel that bad, huh?
Shawn-D: Make me feel better.
Bo: I'm going after our son.
Hope: No, you're not. You're staying put. Bo, this is no -- listen, he has not been himself for some time now.
Bo: He dropped out of school. He smelled like alcohol. That's not like him.
Hope: I know. This is what's been going on. This is what I have been talking about. You are in no shape to deal with this right now. No, please.
Hope: That must be Lexie. Sit down, please. You're ill. You're running a fever.
Billie: Hi, Hope.
Hope: Billie, hi.
Billie: Bo. Bo. I've got great news. Great news! I got a message from Georgia.
Bo: Where? How?
Billie: My PDA.
Bo: You're sure it's from Georgia?
Billie: I had it all checked out. This is no DiMera trick this time. It's real. I got a message from our daughter.
Bo: We gotta go to her.
Lucas: Didn't have to throw it, all right. It's just a fruit basket.
Sami: Oh, yeah, the worst fruit basket ever. And I got it from my loving stepfather and employer, John freaking Black.
Lucas: It is the freaking thought that counts, all right?
Sami: Exactly my point! And he thinks I'm worth a $15 crappy fruit basket, just like your mother. They can both go to hell.
Lucas: I'm sure everybody who works at Basic Black got the same thing. Everybody got the same fruit basket.
Sami: Oh, you must be kidding me. Do you really think that Belle or Brady got that fruit basket as a gift? I don't think so.
Lucas: What'd you get him for Christmas?
Sami: That's not fair. He's as rich as God. He got all my mother's money. And Kate -- she inherited all my father's money, and what'd I get? Nothing.
Lucas: You have me and you have Will.
Sami: That's not what I meant. Besides, I did send John something -- a card.
Lucas: Oh, there you go. It's very nice of you, Sami.
Sami: Yeah, and in it, I said, "Happy Holidays," and "go to hell."
Lucas: Why would you do that? Why would you burn a bridge like that? You're always doing that, Sami. Come on. The guy's been there for you. He's been very good to you plenty of times when he didn't have to be. He practically raised you.
Sami: Oh, don't remind me.
Lucas: You know what? I hope you don't need anything from him. I hope you don't need a damn thing from John because after you sent him that card, you're not gonna get it.
Sami: Lucas, I don't need anything from John Black ever, okay? He is dead to me.
Sami: I'll get it.
Lucas: Thank you. I'll clean up the basket.
Sami: I'll do it. Hello.
Julie: Sami, it's Julie. I was just thinking about your annulment situation. I realized you know somebody who can help you process your annulment papers before the end of the year.
Sami: Oh, thank God. Who?
Julie: Well, a member of your own family -- John Black.
John: Well, I'm glad that you're sure about Philip because we both know that it would be wrong to marry somebody you're not totally in love with.
Belle: Don't worry, dad. I would never do that. Our relationship is nothing like mine was with Shawn.
John: Smooth sailing, huh?
Belle: All the way. Nothing is ever gonna come between Philip and me.
Philip: Why is this happening?
Kate: Philip? Sweetie, what's wrong?
Philip: I can't marry Belle.
Woman: You'd be surprised how many people keep things from each other.
Billie: This is from our daughter, and I have proof.
