Jack: I'm coming home to you, Jennifer... to you, Abigail, and our baby boy. I will be home for Christmas. All right. Okay. Just get this part just right, and -- okay.

[Grunts] Okay.

[Grunts] Good.

Tony: Are you going somewhere, Jack? My, you could have at least waited until I gave you your Christmas surprise.

Jennifer: Oh, Jack. I wish you could be here for your son's first Christmas.

[Rock music playing]

Jennifer: Abigail! Turn that music down this instant!

Abby: Why can't you just leave me alone? I hate you!

[Baby cries]

Jennifer: Sweetie, hold on. Hold on, sweetie.

Lucas: What?

Sami: Huh?

Lucas: What? What's wrong? Something in the paper?

Sami: Oh, it's just -- trash.

Lucas: Are you sure you're okay?

Sami: Lucas, I'm just annoyed. Why did stupid City Hall have to close early today?

Lucas: Because, honey, it's Christmas Eve.

Sami: Yeah, well, a lot of people have to work on Christmas.

Lucas: Relax, all right. We can file your annulment papers next week. You won't be Mrs. Brandon Walker that much longer.

Sami: You're right. And anyway, he's already left town, so he can't ruin our Christmas or our wedding.

Eugenia: So far, so good. Sami's still married to Brandon.

Kate: Well, and if it all goes according to plan, she's gonna stay that way. Look, I gotta go. Keep in touch, though, okay?

Eugenia: You bet I will.

Kate: Okay.

Kate: Knock, knock. Your new --

John: Damn it!

Kate: John. John. Oh, my God. John! John!

Marlena: Nobody's coming, are they?

Roman: I'm sorry, Doc, what'd you say?

Marlena: Bo and Billie -- they weren't out on that ledge, were they? I just imagined that. They weren't coming to rescue us, and now... now we won't get home to John, and Kate, or our families any time before Christmas... and maybe not at all.

Man's voice: Ho, ho, ho!

Hope: Bo? Bo. Bo!

Bo: Finally, we're out of that damned castle.

Billie: Yeah. I don't know whether to be happy or sad. On the one hand, I'm glad to know that Georgia wasn't being held prisoner here all these years. And on the other hand --

Bo: She could be almost anywhere, I know.

Billie: We're gonna find her. Okay?

Bo: Yeah.

Billie: Let's go home.

Bo: Okay.

Billie: Bo, are you okay?

Bo: It's nothing.

Billie: Nothing? You impaled yourself on a spike. We need to get you to a doctor before we get on that plane.

Bo: No, I have just enough time to make it home to my family for Christmas. Nothing's gonna stop me. Let's go.

Tony: You try that again, Jack, I promise you you'll have the shock of your life.

Jack: So... tell me, what's going on?

Tony: Going on?

Jack: Yeah, the explosion, guards running, the shouting -- what's happening?

Tony: Oh, that. That was just Bo and Billie.

Jack: Bo and Billie are here. They're looking for Cassie and me.

Tony: No, I'm afraid not. They are looking for somebody else.

Jack: Someone else? So, there are survivors being held prisoner here other than --

Tony: Face it, you and Cassie are dead. There's no help coming -- not now, not ever.

Jack: What happened to Bo and Billie? Where are they now? What happened?

Tony: I don't know. I suppose when they couldn't find what they were looking for, they decided to leave.

Jack: But they know. They know something's going on. Something is going on. They're suspicious of what's going on here.

Tony: Yes, I'm sure they'll alert the police. Fortunately, they're on the DiMera payroll.

Tony: Jack, things are looking rather hopeless, aren't they? But you know what? Then I come to think what's going to happen to Jennifer -- back there in Salem with those two children and all alone? And at Christmas, no less. It's heartbreaking. Speaking of Christmas, I promised you a surprise, and a surprise you shall have.

Jennifer: Patrick, it's not your problem. I shouldn't even be asking for your help.

Patrick: But I want to help you.

Tony: Oh, dear. Looks like someone has a rooster in his hen house. Hmm, well, perhaps the lovely Jennifer won't be so lonely over the holidays after all.

Jennifer: Shh. It's okay. It's okay, sweetie. Shh, shh, shh, shh, shh. Okay.

Jennifer: Where are you going?

Abby: Where am I going? I'm going out.

Jennifer: Oh, you're going out? Where?

Abby: The mall.

Jennifer: The only place you are going is up to your room to change. You are still grounded.

Abby: This is gonna be the worst Christmas ever.

[Slams door]

Jennifer: Well, that's good. That's good. At least we agree on something.

Hope: Shawn, I am -- please, come in. I am so sorry. I-I thought that you -- that you were --

Shawn: You thought I was Bo.

Hope: Yes, I did.

Shawn: Ha ha ha ha. Listen, I've come bearing gifts for my grandsons. Caroline always wanted them to have their Christmas presents under the tree on Christmas morning, so.

Hope: You know, you really could be Santa with all those gifts.

Shawn: Well, they're for the folks at the homeless shelter. You know I'm volunteering this year at the Christmas party, so.

Hope: Shawn, that is wonderful. So kind of you.

Shawn: Thank you. Well, listen, I guess I'd best be on my way, huh?

Hope: Hey, Merry Christmas to you.

Shawn: Oh, Merry Christmas, darling. Say, I just remembered, it's not just Christmas. It's your wedding anniversary.

Hope: That's right, it is.

Shawn: Oh, he should be home. I'll bet he's doing all he can right now in his power to get -- to get back to you.

Hope: I hope so.

Shawn: Aww.

Bo: You're not gonna freakin' believe this. The Basic Black corporate jet has been grounded.

Billie: What?

Bo: Yeah.

Billie: Why?

Bo: Engine problems.

Billie: Well, they're -- they're gonna fix it, right? They're working on it?

Bo: Not in time for us to make it home for Christmas.

Billie: Well, I'll just get us on a commercial flight.

Bo: Hold -- hold -- hold on. I tried that. It's all booked up. Everyone's headed home for the holidays. [ Sighs] I gotta call Hope and give her the bad news.

Hope: Good night, Santa!

[Telephone rings]

Hope: Hello?

Bo: Hey, Fancy Face.

Hope: [Gasps] Bo, thank God. Are you okay? I've been trying to reach you.

Bo: Yeah, I'm sorry I've been out of touch, but I'm fine.

Hope: I've been so worried about you. What's going on with Georgia?

Bo: Well, we didn't find her.

Hope: Oh, my God, Bo. I'm so sorry. What happened?

Bo: Well, it's kind of a long story, but... I've got some more bad news. Um, I'm having a real difficult time finding a flight home.

Hope: Oh, no.

[Static over phone]

Hope: Bo, are you there?

Bo: Yeah, yeah, I'm here. We just have a bad connection. I can -- I can barely hear you.

Hope: I miss you so much. We all miss you so much.

Bo: Yeah, I miss you, too. Listen, it may take a miracle for me to get home, but I am not gonna miss Christmas with my family, and I sure as heck am not gonna miss our anniversary.

Hope: You remembered.

Bo: Of course I remembered. How can I forget the happiest day of my life?

Hope: How's Billie?

Bo: She's hanging in there. Hey, listen, I'll fill you in on all the details when I see ya.

Hope: And do you have any idea when that might be?

[Static over phone]

Hope: Bo? Hello? I didn't get the chance to say "I love you."

Roman: Doc, I promised you I'd find a way to get us out of here, and I will. I meant it. No matter what it takes.

Marlena: I know that. I know, I'm -- I'm sorry that I gave us any kind of hope that Billie and Bo were about to rescue us. I-I clearly imagined that.

Roman: Doc, I was willing to believe that, too. Even though we both... know...

Marlena: We both know that's impossible, don't we? Everybody believes that we're dead. And they're moving on without us, you know, even -- even John and Kate.

Roman: Doc, we're not gonna lose 'em.

Marlena: Unless we already have.

Kate: What on earth were you thinking about?

John: I told you that I was determined to walk my daughter down the aisle.

Kate: John, you're too weak to be on your feet right now. I mean, that's why I'm here -- to help you until you get better, remember? So, did the workmen come by to install the wheelchair lift on the back stairway? Because I called them --

John: I took care of it. Look, Kate, you don't have to do this. It's a holiday, so why don't you... just spend it with your family?

Kate: Come on. I am happy to be there. It's much better than sitting in that depressing hotel suite missing Roman... the same way I know that you're missing Marlena. Come on, this is the worst possible time for either of us to be alone. And our kids are busy with their lives and with their relationships. I can't wait. I can't wait until Belle and Philip are happily married, and then there's Lucas and Sami. Believe me, if they tie the knot, it's gonna be the biggest mistake of their lives.

Sami: Lucas, I can't wait for our wedding day. I want it to be big and beautiful, and before Belle and Philip’s.

Lucas: Yeah, well, wait a minute. This is not a competition, okay? Belle is your half sister, Philip’s my half brother, we're all family. So we should just have one big wedding, okay?

Sami: Lucas, I have been waiting for this day my whole life. I mean, up until now, every time I've tried to walk down the aisle, it's ended in disaster -- including one time I ended up on death row. Look, just once, just for my... last trip down the aisle, I want the whole day to be perfect. Can't you understand that?

Lucas: Yes, I do. And it will be. It will be perfect. I promise you.

Sami: Of course, it's gonna be. How could it be otherwise? I'm marrying you.

Lucas: Exactly.

Lucas: What? What? What is it?

Sami: I just -- I'm sick of reading about all that bad news.

Woman: Okay, you two ready to order?

Lucas: Uh, go ahead.

Sami: Yeah, I'll have the Brandon and eggs.

Woman: Um, how about I get you some bacon and eggs?

Sami: That's what I meant.

Woman: And for you, Lucas?

Lucas: Nothing. I lost my appetite. Thank you.

Sami: Lucas --

Lucas: No, Sami. You can't stop thinking about the guy, huh? Can't keep him off your mind?

Eugenia: [Thinking] Hmm, sounds like trouble in paradise.

Sami: It was just a stupid slip, that's it.

Lucas: Oh, that was a slip? That's all it was?

Sami: Yes, it was. I'm really upset about not being able to get those annulment papers filed, okay? You just wait and see -- soon as that city clerk's office opens, I'm going down there, and I'm getting it done. I'm gonna get that man outta my head -- outta my life forever.

Eugenia: [Thinking] We'll see about that.

Lucas: Let's be honest, huh? If you're thinking about the guy for whatever reason, then we got a problem.

Sami: What are you saying?

Lucas: If you can't sort your feelings out for Brandon, then we should postpone our wedding.

Kate: Looks like you just got a Christmas present.

John: Yeah? From who?

Kate: What in the world? It's from Marlena.

Jennifer: Thank you so much for helping me because I just got behind.

Hope: Are you kidding? I'm happy to help. Besides, I had nothing else to do. Thank you. Bo is halfway around the world, Shawn -- well, God knows where Shawn is, and Zack’s making Christmas cookies with Julie and Gram. And you know what else? I'm afraid Bo may be spending Christmas and our anniversary with Billie.

Billie: Well?

Bo: No one's willing to give up their seat.

Billie: I'll be right back, okay?

Bo: All right. There's gotta be someone who can help us.

Man: Pardon me. Is this seat taken?

Bo: Oh, no, no. Go ahead.

Man: Oh, good heavens, I'm late. I must make my appointed rounds or there will be many disappointed young children.

Bo: Yeah, I know what you're saying. I'm trying to get home to my wife and kids and right now it looks like that's impossible.

Man: Don't be so sure. It's Christmas Eve -- a time when miracles have been known to happen.

Jennifer: Wait a minute. Bo is going to be spending Christmas and your anniversary with Billie?

Hope: They're stuck at the airport. They can't get a flight out.

Jennifer: I'm sorry.

Hope: He's trying. He says he's gonna make it, but.

Jennifer: I'm sorry.

Hope: This just isn't right. I mean, Bo should be here with his family. Not just for me and Zack, but for Shawn especially. The poor kid, he's completely out of control -- drinking, driving, getting himself arrested. He needs his father. I'm sorry. I'm sorry, here I am complaining about Bo when --

Jennifer: Well, you have every right to be complaining.

Hope: At least I know that Bo’s coming home... eventually.

Jennifer: It's hard. It's hard to -- hard to believe that -- that Jack won't ever be coming home, and that he's really gone forever, it... but I guess it's just something I have to learn to deal with, right?

Tony: Well, greetings of the season! Please, you wanna watch this. It's a brand-new reality show, and it's called "changing spouses."

John: "John, "my time with you is so precious. Marlena."

Kate: It looks like she ordered it a long time ago to be delivered at Christmas.

John: Now it's just gonna remind us of all the time that we've lost.

Sami: Lucas, I don't wanna postpone our wedding. I know how I feel about Brandon, or how I don't feel. I have never been more sure of anything. You make me happier than I've ever been in my entire life. I love you... and only you. I wanna be your wife, Lucas, not Brandon’s. You have to believe me.

[Sami crying]

Sami: Damn you, Brandon. God, just get out of my head. Just leave me alone.

Tony: So, are you feeling comfy and cozy? Because here they are now. Oh, they seem to be getting rather familiar with each other, aren't they? Well, I'm sure it's rather platonic. But wait a minute, what is this? Could it be? Yes, it is. Why -- why it's Kate’s luggage. She seems to be moving in just in time for Christmas. Oh, my, how romantic? And they say there's nothing good on TV anymore.

Kate: Oh, I really wish there was something else I could do to help ease the pain.

[Telephone rings]

Kate: Oh. Excuse me.

John: Mm-hmm.

Kate: Hello?

Billie: Mom, it's me.

Kate: Billie! Oh, sweetie. It's so good to hear from you. Have you and Bo found Georgia?

Billie: No, no. But, um, but the good news is we know for sure that she was here. We found a room... full of her baby things. Mom.

Kate: Honey, what's happening?

Billie: She was adopted when she was a little girl, but we don't know by whom, or where she is.

Kate: Sweetheart.

Billie: We're gonna find her, Mom.

Kate: You will find her. You and Bo are gonna find her. You won't give up.

Billie: No, we will not give up. But, um, Bo is focused on getting back to his family for Christmas, and that's the reason I'm calling. The Basic Black jet is out of commission, and we can't get another flight out. And I was wondering... do you have another corporate jet that you could send us?

Kate: Are you out of your mind? You are two ex-lovers stranded thousands of miles away from home together at Christmas. Sweetie, what could be more romantic? Use it to your advantage.

Billie: Is that what you're doing with John? I got your message that you're moving in.

Kate: Never mind about that, okay? Just have a wonderful holiday, darling... with Bo.

Bo: Well, I'll tell ya, I'm praying for a miracle to get home to my wife and kids for the holidays.

Man: Yes, it's a shame to disappoint the little ones.

Bo: Yeah, it is.

Man: Oh, by the way, I am Wenceslas.

Bo: Wenceslas?

Wenceslas: Mm-hmm.

Bo: You mean, like the Christmas carol, "good king Wenceslas"?

Wenceslas: Yes, yes.

Christmas men, be sure

wealth or rank possessing

Both: Ye who now will

bless the poor

shall yourselves

find blessings

Bo: You know, not many people know that one.

Wenceslas: I know.

Bo: What is it you do?

Wenceslas: Me? Oh, well, I-I do, uh, charity work involving children mostly.

Bo: Oh, yeah? Well, here, you know what? Let me make a donation.

Wenceslas: That's very generous. Bless you.

Bo: Well, I really hate the thought of a kid being disappointed at Christmas.

Wenceslas: Yes.

Bo: You know what? I am gonna find a way for all of us to get where we're going.

Wenceslas: And how is Beauregard Brady going to do that?

Bo: I don't -- how'd you know my name?

Wenceslas: Your luggage tag.

Bo: Oh, yeah. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but I'm gonna find us a flight outta here.

Wenceslas: I think it might be easier finding a sleigh with eight tiny reindeer.

Bo: Ha ha ha. Yeah, well, whatever it takes.

Billie: What if we do end up spending Christmas together? Who knows what could happen?

Sami: Lucas.

Lucas: We need to talk. It's important.

Kate: Well, sorry, Sami, but there's only room enough for one of us here.

John: Wow. Starting to look a little like Christmas around here.

Kate: It's about time, right?

John: Doc used to love to decorate for the holidays. It always was a pretty special place around here.

Kate: I really believe that Roman and Marlena would want us to be here for each other.

Tony: Well, that was entertaining, wasn't it? Almost as good as "Fear Factor." But then, I've always been a sucker for a good Christmas story. It warms the cockles of my heart. And from the looks of things, John was certainly feeling the heat in his own cockles -- courtesy of Kate.

Roman: Tony, you are such a bastard.

Tony: Oh, Captain Brady, don't get angry, get even. That's always worked well for me. Happy holidays.

Marlena: Oh, Roman. John and Kate... moving in together? How -- what's happening?

Roman: I don't know, Doc. I don't know.

[Chain dragging]

Jack: Makes you wonder who else Tony’s got here besides Cassie and me. Hello?! Is anybody out there?!

Jack: Hello, can anybody hear me?!

Jack: Of course not.

Jack: This place is a fortress. The walls are 2 feet thick. Still, I've got to find a way to get out of here. I've got to get back to Jennifer.

Hope: Have a good nap, sweetie. Sweet dreams. Don't let the bedbugs bite. And I know just what you'll be dreaming about. Your daddy coming home. Being here tomorrow when you get up to open your presents.

Hope: Oh, Bo, please. Don't disappoint your little boy on Christmas.

Bo: Ah, no luck. Not a single seat on a single flight to or even near Salem.

Wenceslas: Then we shall just have to arrange for our own air transportation.

Bo: Yeah, right. How are we gonna do that?

Wenceslas: This compass has always helped me find my way home.

Bo: Oh, yeah?

Bo: What? You live in the North Pole?

Wenceslas: Ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho!

Jack: I have to get out of here. I have to get back to you and Ab-- Abigail and the baby before -- before Patrick Lockhart hijacks my life.

Have yourself a merry little Christmas

let your heart be light

from now on our troubles will be out of sight

Abby: Mom?

Jennifer: Abby. Where are you going?

Abby: I don't want to fight anymore. Can we call a Christmas truce?

Jennifer: Yes, sweetie.

From now on our troubles will be miles away

Sami: Lucas, whatever it is, just tell me.

Lucas: After I left you, I thought about what happened and what I said.

Sami: And?

Lucas: And I think now is as good a time as any to... give you your Christmas present.

Sami: Oh, Lucas. It's beautiful.

Lucas: Go ahead, read the inscription.

Sami: "Sami, my love, my life forever."

Lucas: That's right. Let me put it on you. Turn around.

Lucas: Now these aren't just words, okay? I mean them. I love you, Sami. And I know that you love me. We belong together. We belong together forever. I cannot wait to marry you and spend every single Christmas with you for the rest of our lives.

Sami: Lucas...

Eugenia: Damn! Kate is not gonna like this. Not one bit.

[Christmas music playing ]

John: You're right. I know for a fact Marlena would want us to be there for each other.

Kate: Well... I am here. Merry Christmas.

Through the years we all will be together if the fates allow

Roman: Hey. It's okay. But we just got to be strong, not let Tony get to us.

Marlena: You're right. I know you're right. He just wants us to fall apart. He just wants to torture us.

Roman: Yeah, and we can't give in to it, all right? Together, as a team, we can beat him at his own game.

Marlena: How do we do that?

Roman: Because we have something he doesn’t. We know that life is about love, not hate.

Hang a shining star...

Roman: Merry Christmas.

Upon the highest bough

Marlena: Merry Christmas, Roman.

And have yourself a merry little Christmas now

faithful friends who are dear to us

gather near to us once more

Bo: Hey.

Billie: Hi.

Bo: What happened?

Billie: What happened is you finally got some much-needed sleep.

Bo: Where's the old man?

Billie: What old man?

Bo: I must have been dreaming.

Billie: You were dreaming about an old man?

Bo: Yeah. Listen to this. He'd get us home to Salem via the North Pole.

Billie: Well, it's too bad it was just a dream, because unfortunately it's gonna be next to impossible to get you home to your family for the holidays.

Bo: Well, I don't know about that. Like the old guy said, Christmas is a time for miracles. Something tells me he knew what he was talking about.

Wenceslas: Ho ho ho ho ho ho ho!

Brady: Tonight everybody here is going to know exactly how much you mean to me. Merry Christmas, Nicole.

Shawn-D: Knowing Belle, she'll keep you waiting forever, and she'll probably never deliver.

Chelsea: Patrick is so hot.

Abby: Chelse.

Chelsea: He's my Christmas present, Abby, and I can't wait to unwrap him.

Alice: I knew you were watching over me. Thank you, Tom.
